2:28Clarendon display locations today. MAGA Mike Johnson has shut down the government indefinitely and he's
2:36shut down Congress for 10 days.
2:39That's right. MAGA Republicans have said everybody gets to go home.
2:44Congress is in recess again for at least 10 days and isn't it just so
2:50obvious that the reason they're doing this as well as the walls close in on
2:54Donald Trump regarding the cover -up of the Epstein files and the child sex trafficking
3:00ring therein that Trump and the DOJ do not want to come out and people
3:05are learning the dark past of Donald Trump and all the others in this Epstein
3:10class. 10 days, at least Congress has been sent home for.
3:16This is utterly despicable by MAGA Mike Johnson, Republican Speaker and John Thune, the MAGA
3:22Majority Leader in the Senate.
3:24There was a weird thing that went down before members of Congress went home.
3:29You had J .D. Vance, Vice President, break a tie regarding the SAVE Act and
3:38it was just a procedural vote regarding the SAVE Act.
3:41This is where MAGA Republicans are trying to focus on disenfranchising American citizens under the
3:48pretext that they're trying to stop illegal immigrants, illegal aliens, as they say.
3:53I hate that term. That's what they say from voting, which there's no evidence of
3:57anyway. And they want to make it so difficult.
3:59We're like, you have to get a passport if you want to vote or you
4:02have to go through all these hoops and hurdles.
4:05And they're trying to chill actual people from voting because they also don't want to
4:08talk about the economy right now, which is terrible under Donald Trump and his regime
4:14with inflation surging and being in a job recession right now.
4:17So the weird thing that happened was you had J .D.
4:21Vance like he didn't want to have to show up.
4:23He thought he was going to be on a vacation.
4:25He shows up to the Senate and you'll see him right here like huffing and
4:29puffing and he's out of breath and he looks sloppy in order to break a
4:34tie on a procedural vote regarding the SAVE Act.
4:39It's still going to be subject to a filibuster because it's in the Senate.
4:43And based on this tiebreaker, you'll see that there's only about 49 votes or 50
4:49votes, if you will, in favor of the SAVE Act in the Senate.
4:52And it needs 60 in order for it to get a cloture vote and avoid
4:58a filibuster. But just watch what J .D.
5:00Vance does. He's tired. He's exhausted.
5:03And then Congress shuts down right after this.
5:06Here, play this clip. 50.
5:08The nays are 50. The Senate being equally divided.
5:11The vice president votes affirmative and the point of order is sustained.
5:27Got to make sure. Now we had Magamike, you know, the biggest tell if you're
5:33like Ben, you're getting conspiratorial and saying they're shutting down Congress for 10 days because
5:39they don't want to talk about the Epstein files.
5:43I mean, by the way, you have Republican Congress member Thomas Massey, who is one
5:49of the people who are responsible for the discharge petition.
5:52I mean, he's making posts right now like this.
5:56I'm not suicidal. I eat healthy food.
5:59The brakes on my car and truck are in good shape.
6:02I practice good trigger discipline and never point a gun at anyone, including myself.
6:07There are no deep pools of water on my farm and I'm a pretty good
6:13swimmer. In other words, he's saying that he believes that somebody is going to kill
6:17him. And if it's suggested that he dies by suicide, that is not what actually
6:23happened. You know, and then we see some statements by Donald Trump's communication director, Stephen
6:28Chung, saying Ro Khanna. This is from Trump's communications director.
6:33This guy's in charge of comms communications at the White House.
6:37I hate to use the R word.
6:39I'm reading what the communications director said.
6:42Let me just preface it with that.
6:43He goes, this is Trump's communication director.
6:46Ro Khanna and Thomas Massey are some of the dumbest retards ever to be in
6:52Congress. They knowingly and willfully ruined the lives of innocent people who had nothing to
6:58do with Epstein. What the hell are you talking about, Chung?
7:02I mean, one thing he's referencing is that there were people who were in the
7:06Epstein files who were being redacted by the DOJ.
7:10The DOJ didn't have a privilege log, which they're required to do by law.
7:15And in naming lots of people, apparently there are four people who said we were
7:20misidentified originally by the DOJ 10 years ago.
7:25How would Massey and Khanna even know that?
7:27But setting that aside, we have like Sultan bin Salim talking about torture videos who
7:32was forced to resign from the main logistical company in the United Arab Emirates.
7:38I mean, you've got that guy, you've got the former ambassador to the United States,
7:43you've got the national security advisor in Slovakia, you've got the former prime minister of
7:49Norway. I mean, you've got all these world leaders who are being toppled, business leaders
7:53who are being toppled. Transparency is being brought.
7:57The Trump regime is now attacking lawmakers such that they feel that they're going to
8:02be killed. And this, and they're saying, I didn't die by suicide.
8:06And then you have MAGA Mike Johnson.
8:09Let's take a look at what MAGA Mike Johnson's even talking about here.
8:12He did a, he did an interview with state regime media, which calls itself Fox.
8:17And he said that the Bondi hearing, that Bondi was great.
8:21He said the issue was the Democrats turned it into a circus.
8:25I kid you not. Before MAGA Mike sent Congress home, he said that Bondi did
8:30great. He said Bondi did great.
8:32And the Democrats turned the hearing into a circus.
8:36I mean, again, MAGA Mike, if you thought he couldn't be clown himself anymore, let
8:41me show you the height of be clowning.
8:43Play this clip. Obviously, Pam Bondi said it well.
8:47They turned it into a circus.
8:49These are unserious people. And they demonstrate that with their antics in the committee hearings
8:53now, which have really turned into theatrics, as she said.
8:56Then you have MAGA Mike saying, oh, the reason we have, it's like the same.
9:01Isn't this feel like deja vu with MAGA Mike?
9:04And he's like, the reason that we're in a shutdown is because for Democrats, this
9:09is political theater about why they don't want to fund the Department of Homeland Security.
9:14It's political theater for them.
9:16Hey, this is what you said, MAGA Mike, about health care.
9:19It's political theater. What are you telling the tens of millions of Americans right now
9:24who don't have health care and who are just praying they don't get sick this
9:28year because they will die?
9:31And many of them have already died.
9:33What are you telling them?
9:34Was that just political theater, MAGA Mike?
9:36And then MAGA Mike says it's political theater right now that Democrats, what, don't want.
9:43First of all, let me be clear about my position, Midas touch position.
9:47I can't speak for this is my position leading the network.
9:50ICE and Border Patrol need to be abolished in its current form.
9:53And those responsible for terrorizing and torturing people need to be prosecuted full stop.
9:59You don't give them a penny.
10:01You take the money away from them because they're a bunch of terrorist Gestapo and
10:05SS. That's how I feel.
10:06I don't mince words. The Midas mighty knows that, by the way, hit subscribe.
10:10Help us get to 6 million subscribers.
10:12We're almost at 6 million.
10:13Help us get to 6 million maybe this weekend.
10:16But in any event, sorry, I digress.
10:18But Democrats are saying, here's what we want.
10:20Know it. No fake warrants.
10:22Do real warrants. Like under the Fourth Amendment, judicial warrants.
10:25Make ICE agents wear, take off their masks.
10:29No more wearing masks and make them wear body cams.
10:31Pretty simple requests. But for MAGA, they're like, oh, no, they're going to get doxxed.
10:36They have to wear masks to kidnap people.
10:39They can't use judicial warrants.
10:41They need administrative warrants after court, after court, after court has said, you're violating the
10:46civil rights of people in this country.
10:48You're terrorizing people. So here's what Maggie Mike says.
10:51This is political theater. Here, play this clip.
10:54It looks like, I mean, you know, we got 11 of the 12 appropriations bills
10:57done and through the process signed into law, we're spending less money.
11:01We're acting as better stewards of taxpayer dollars.
11:03We're making the federal government work more efficiently and effectively for the people.
11:06And the one bill that was left on the table is Department of Homeland Security.
11:10That funding measure, which, by the way, covers all the agencies that keep the American
11:14people safe. FEMA, TSA, the Coast Guard, the Secret Service and ICE, of course, and
11:20the Customs and Border Patrol.
11:23And the Democrats don't want to fund it because it's political for them.
11:26And it looks like they're pushing us into another partial government shutdown for no reason
11:32whatsoever. And they're going to make the American people less safe because they're trying to
11:36score political points and make a point.
11:38And I think it's going to backfire.
11:40They're going to shut down the country.
11:41Hey, everybody. Ben Micellis here from the Midas Touch Network.
11:43I wanted to let you know about my podcast partner, Michael Popak's new law firm.
11:49It's called the Popak Firm.
11:51Michael Popak's pursuing his dream of starting his own law firm, really based on the
11:57popular demand by all the Midas mighty and legal AF -ers who are approaching Michael
12:03Popak with their cases and saying, can you help us?
12:06And at that time, Popak was not able to.
12:09So he went out on his own.
12:11He started the Popak Firm where he is now handling catastrophic injury cases like car
12:17accident cases, trucking cases, malpractice cases, big negligence cases, wrongful death cases.
12:24So if you or someone you know have a case like this, the consultation with
12:28Popak's firm is free. Give him a call.
12:32See if you have a case, it's thepopakfirm .com, thepopakfirm .com, or you can call
12:39877 -POPAKAF, P -O -P -O -K -A -F.
12:45So 1 -877 -P -O -P -O -K -A -F.
12:48Give Michael Popak a call.
12:50And I'm really proud of you, Popak.
12:52Thanks for all the hard work you're putting in.
12:54But then Maga Mike says, look, he says, we're doing great here as Republicans.
12:59And we're going to gain seats in the House of Representatives is what he said.
13:04We're going to gain seats.
13:05Here play this clip. They really do.
13:06And that's one of the reasons we're so confident about this midterm election coming up.
13:10We are going to make history.
13:11We're going to grow the majority for the Republican Party because we have an extraordinary
13:15record to run on. And they have an outrageous record that they have produced with
13:20their votes. And we're going to continue to put them on record, Sean, and make
13:23sure that people know exactly what they stand for.
13:26This is an insurgent left party.
13:28This is not your father's Democrat party anymore.
13:30They're not serious people. They have an absolute Marxist, far left socialist ideology.
13:36And that is what you will get if you elect Democrats to Congress.
13:38You've just seen it on display tonight.
13:40So this is an important election for all the reasons we know, all the marbles.
13:45And I believe Republicans are going to overperform in this election.
13:48And we're going to keep the majority and keep the Trump agenda, the American first
13:51agenda going for four full years.
13:53Which is fascinating, Maga Mike, because Lindsey Graham, as part of the House and Senate
14:00on recess indefinitely, apparently no one works in our government.
14:03But Lindsey Graham is having a good old dandy old time in Munich at the
14:10security conference, where he says that he believes that the Republicans will lose the House.
14:15Here's what Lindsey Graham had to say, play this clip.
14:19It's a big story. You're missing a lot that's going on.
14:21I like you. Let's talk about, but you can convince everybody, you can assure Americans
14:27and others that it'll go as usual.
14:29The only people worried about us not having elections, you can put in a phone
14:33booth. Okay. We're going to have an election.
14:36Glad to hear it. And you know what?
14:37Republicans could win, but we've got to up our game.
14:40Right now, it looks like we'll lose the House, maybe keep the Senate.
14:43Then in 28, we'll have another election and we'll have another one and another one,
14:47another one. So as I mentioned, folks, we're now officially in a government shutdown today.
14:52The Department of Homeland Security, a partial government shutdown.
14:56The Homeland Security is shut down.
15:00Other aspects of the government are not shut down.
15:02Homeland Security is shut down for 10 days.
15:05You've got members of Congress feeling like they're going to be unalived because they're exposing
15:12the Epstein files like Massey and Ro Khanna.
15:14You've got J .D. Vance out of breath.
15:17And can I just show you the good work that people like Senator Elizabeth Warren
15:21are doing before the Senate and Congress and the House went into recess?
15:26I thought this was, this does not get enough attention.
15:29Here's Senator Warren right here, Senator Warren right here, Senator from Massachusetts.
15:35And here she's cross -examining leaders in our military about the privatization of the barracks
15:42where our service members live and how private companies are making people who live in
15:49the privatized housing in the military sign NDAs so they can't report to their supervisors
15:57issues like asbestos and mold and other improper living conditions and that they have to
16:06sign NDAs. you're going to take note, I guess.
16:07When the government's which you have in the military Did you even know that they're
16:08making our service member side NDAs?
16:10This is why we need, this is the type of questioning we need.
16:13Before the Senate was shut down and Congress was shut down, here's what Senator Warren
16:19had to say. Here, play this clip right here.
16:22So I'm just going to ask a question of all of you.
16:25Does anyone here believe that it is appropriate for a housing company to prohibit service
16:34members from reporting to their commander or to congressional representatives that a company has failed
16:42to remove toxic mold in their room for over 10 months?
16:47I'll just take a simple yes or no, if you think it's okay to do
16:51that. I'll start down at this end.
16:54I think service members should always have the access to their commanders to be able
16:59to report problems, ma 'am.
17:00Okay, and be able to tell Congress.
17:02This is part of what oversight is about, right?
17:05Yes, ma 'am. Just want to make sure we're clear.
17:06Sergeant Major? Ranking Member, that chain of command should be well aware of everything that's
17:11going on in that situation that you just declared.
17:14Okay, so you are not in favor of these non -disclosure agreements?
17:18I'm in favor of taking care of the family in that situation, Ranking Member.
17:23Wait, are you wobbling here on me on whether or not those non -disclosure agreements
17:27should be permitted? I don't think a family should be put in a box where
17:33they cannot have accountability and be taken care of, Ranking Member.
17:38I don't. I've lived in houses.
17:40I don't quite understand how a family gets put in a corner for a non
17:44-disclosure. I have to do some more research on that.
17:47But that scenario, that 10 -month scenario, there should be a chain of command that
17:51knows everything that's going on in that before anybody's done.
17:53Sergeant Major, I don't understand why you're trying to parse words here.
17:58The question is, as part of getting a repair, should any housing operator that's working
18:07for the United States government and getting paid by the United States government be able
18:11to say to a service member, I'm only doing the repair after you sign an
18:16agreement that you won't tell anybody in your chain of command or you won't tell
18:21any Congressional Oversight Committee about what this place was like?
18:25That right there, Ranking Member, they should not be able to do it.
18:29We're clear. Ranking Member, no.
18:32Okay. No. Ranking Member Warren, absolutely not.
18:37Good. No, they should not be forced to do that.
18:40Good. I appreciate this. You know, this may seem like a little side point until
18:46it's a family that has been put in a box, as you rightly put it,
18:51and they've got nowhere to go.
18:54Our job is to make sure that our service members are taken care of, and
18:58I hear each one of you saying that.
19:00But we've got to make this work on the ground.
19:03And I just start with something as essential as housing.
19:06And letting these private housing outfits come in and do a lousy job of keeping
19:13the housing operational and then refuse to repair it unless people promise to be silent,
19:20agree to be muzzled on it, is just flat wrong.
19:24And I enlist your help in beating that out of our operations at the housing
19:31level. So thank you very much, Mr.
19:33Chairman. We'll keep working on this.
19:34And speaking of the fact that the Department of Homeland Security is not being funded
19:39right now, and it's in a partial government shutdown, here's what Department of Homeland Security
19:44Secretary, Kristi Noem, had to say, let's play this clip.
19:59And then as Congress has retreated, here's what's going on on state regime media.
20:05You have Kayleigh McEnany talking about cojones, and she says, you know, like AOC and
20:12Newsom don't have cojones, like Trump's got cojones.
20:18Okay, Kayleigh McEnany, Trump's got cojones.
20:22These are weird humans, man.
20:24These are some weird humans.
20:25Here to play this clip.
20:26But let me say this, whether it's AOC, Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris, you name it,
20:31Amy Klobuchar, none of them have the fortitude, the strength, the bravery President Trump had.
20:37None of them would have bombed Fordeaux.
20:39None of them would have captured Maduro.
20:41None of them would have used tariffs to leverage great deals for the United States.
20:45None of them would have had an armada encircling Iran and bringing Iran to its
20:50knees. None of them could do that.
20:52President Trump will be known as a great economic president.
20:54I agree with you, this is a year, it's going to be an economic boom,
20:57but he is going to be known as one of the greatest foreign policy presidents
21:00of our time. None of them have the, quote, cojones, I'll use it in Spanish,
21:04that President Trump has. So...
21:06Well, there you have it, folks.
21:08Congress shut down, government partially shut down.
21:13So lame. And the people suffer.
21:15We the people suffer as a result of this.
21:18Just keep the freaking government going.
21:19Do your damn job. Hell is wrong with these people, right?
21:24It's the Epstein class, man.
21:25It's what they do. Epstein class.
21:28Everyone, hit subscribe. Let's get to 6 million.
