Trump Makes Damning Admissions on Day After Shooting…
4/26/202629 mincomplete
0:00A number of very damning and peculiar admissions are surfacing from the Trump regime about
0:05the alleged shooting at the White House Correspondents' Dinner last night.
0:10First, that the alleged shooter, Cole Allen, supposed to be a 31 -year -old from
0:16California who got an engineering degree from Caltech, apparently he was nowhere near Donald Trump
0:24when the shooting occurred. He still basically remained outside of the security perimeter, but everybody
0:30was acting like he got very close.
0:33It should also be noted that there was no designated survivor in the room where
0:39the White House Correspondents' Dinner was taking place.
0:42That's a pretty odd thing, and it goes against all protocol.
0:46Also, it was pretty odd that the Secret Service went to protect J .D.
0:51Vance first instead of Donald Trump.
0:54I think most significantly, the Trump regime and all of its sycophants have made this
0:58instantly about Donald Trump's golden ballroom and in unison.
1:04Now it's like 50 to 60 of the top MAGA influencers and the top people
1:10in the Trump regime with a unified voice, all basically posting the same message.
1:15This is why we need a golden ballroom.
1:17This is why we need a golden ballroom.
1:19Donald Trump made a post this morning also saying, this is why I need a
1:23golden ballroom. Now MAGA Republicans are saying, you know what?
1:27Really, the taxpayers are the ones who need to pay for the golden ballroom.
1:31In the next Department of Homeland Security funding bill, the taxpayer should be paying for
1:37this golden ballroom because of this incident.
1:41There's a lot of other red flags that I want to go through with you
1:44one by one, but let's not forget that Donald Trump's approval heading into this White
1:49House Correspondent Center was the lowest in presidential history, right?
1:54His approval was 33 % based on the latest AP North poll on the economy.
2:00It was 30%. That's worse than Nixon at the time of Nixon's resignation.
2:05Also, let's not forget what happened yesterday as well, where there was supposed to be,
2:10if you believe the Trump regime's version of events, a meeting in Pakistan with the
2:15Iranian delegation with Foreign Minister Aragchi and others from Iran.
2:20Even though the Iranian delegation had always said they're not meeting with the Trump regime,
2:25Donald Trump used the same media that was in the room at this White House
2:29Correspondent's Dinner to spread lies to the American people and manipulate the markets on Friday
2:35that this meeting was going to take place.
2:37When the Iranian Foreign Minister left, Trump regime had to come up with their next
2:41lie, and they said, oh, well, you know, the Iranians sent us to document.
2:45We just didn't like the document, so we didn't want to waste our time.
2:48So that's the events that were heading into this White House Correspondent's Dinner.
2:53And then, you know, the alleged incident takes place.
2:56And I mean, just look at the conduct and behavior of the Trump regime officials
3:01as we posted on the Midas Touch account.
3:03They were all smiles. I mean, it looked like they were having the time of
3:07their life after this alleged shooting.
3:09I mean, look at them.
3:10Like, they're literally partying with the media.
3:12Like, this should be a very serious and solemn incident if you actually think about
3:20historical events where shootings happened, right?
3:23But they're like high -fiving each other.
3:25They're laughing. They're jolly. He holds a press conference last night 30 minutes after the
3:30incident to demand a golden ballroom and then to say, well, this isn't going to
3:35impact the fact that we're still going to win the war in Iran.
3:37I mean, no matter what you believe or don't believe about the incident, what is
3:41an undisputed fact is he immediately turned it into a propaganda and political moment using
3:47the same sycophantic media that props him up in order to spread more propaganda to
3:53the American people. That's clear.
3:54Here are more photos of them all smiling.
3:57Look at Todd Blanche, J .D.
3:58Vance. They think this is the funniest thing ever.
4:01Here is Hegseth laughing. Alina Habba after the incident posted the following 10 out of
4:0910 slayed on the look.
4:11She said she's slayed. She thinks that she looks so good in her dress.
4:15She wants everybody to know after the shooting that she's slayed on the look.
4:19Then you had Chip Roy, MAGA Republican Congress members say any consideration of DHS reconciliation
4:26instructions this week and beyond should provide for the construction of a secure ballroom on
4:32White House grounds in addition to other concerns being addressed regarding ICBP, Save America, Transgender
4:40and Abortion Funding, Recon 3 and more.
4:43In other words, now they're not just going to use the shooting in order, the
4:47purported shooting in order to try to build a golden ballroom, but they're also going
4:54to use it to attack the transgender communities and marginalized communities and try to prevent
4:59people from voting in a safe way now.
5:02I mean, that's where they're going with all of this.
5:04Then Donald Trump posted the following.
5:06What happened? This is what Trump posted this morning, 546 AM.
5:10What happened last night is I think he requested who also chose a 200 %
5:11chance. I don't know. Exactly the reason that our great military secret service law enforcement
5:15and for different reasons, every president for the last 50 years has been demanding that
5:20a large, safe and secure ballroom be built on the grounds of the White House.
5:24The event would never have happened with the military top secret ballroom currently under construction
5:30at the White House. It cannot be built fast enough.
5:33While beautiful, it has every highest level security feature there is.
5:37Plus, there are no room sitting on top for unsecured people to pour in and
5:42is inside the gates of the most secured building in the world, the White House.
5:46The ridiculous ballroom lawsuit brought by a woman walking her dog who has absolutely no
5:51standing to bring such a suit must be dropped immediately.
5:55Nothing should be allowed to interfere with its construction, which is on budget and substantially
6:00ahead of schedule. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
6:03So now you would also want to hold the White House correspondence dinner inside the
6:09White House when the very nature of what the event is supposed to be, it's
6:13supposed to show the independence of the press that you visit them.
6:18But now you're using this to build your golden ballroom.
6:21And by the way, the press plays right into this, of course, as well.
6:25You know, I mean, you'll have, you know, on CNN, Dana Bash, you know, asks
6:31Jamie Raskin, who's a guest.
6:32So don't you think the rhetoric of the Democrats is just a little too heated
6:36right now? Don't you think it's just too heated?
6:38You need to tone it down.
6:40Jamie Raskin's like, what are you talking about?
6:42Donald Trump's covering up child sex trafficking rings.
6:46Inflation is surging right now.
6:47He's engaged in war crimes in a lawful war.
6:50What does any of this have to do with anything?
6:52You're alleging that a shooter who got nowhere near the underlying event in the White
6:56House correspondence dinner that this now means golden ballrooms and we could give Donald Trump
7:02everything he wants and attack transgender community.
7:04What the hell are we even doing here?
7:06Here, play this clip of Jamie Raskin.
7:08Yeah. And you have, as many of your fellow Democrats, have used some heated rhetoric
7:14against the president. And do you think twice about that when something like this happens?
7:19What rhetoric do you have in mind?
7:21Just talking about some of the fact that he, you know, is terrible for this
7:26country and so on and so forth.
7:27I understand that that's your democratic right.
7:29But overall, do you have a responsibility?
7:34I have no personal problem with Donald Trump at all.
7:36I mean, I talk about the policies of this administration, the authoritarianism like we saw
7:41on display in Minneapolis, where two of our citizens were gunned down in the streets
7:45simply for exercising their First Amendment rights.
7:48Rene Good, Alex Preddy and others have died in custody.
7:54I'm talking about policies. I don't personalize it.
7:57And I certainly have never called the press the enemy of the people.
8:00I think the press are the people's best friend.
8:02And that's why it's written right there into the First Amendment.
8:05We need the press to be a vigilant watchdog against every level of government, federal,
8:11state, local, all of it.
8:12You're not going to get an argument from me on that.
8:14Before I let you go.
8:15No. And then on Meet the Press, you had Donald Trump's acting attorney general, Todd
8:20Blanche. You know, when he was asked, you know, what do you think it was
8:24safe to have the vice president and the president, defense secretary, treasury secretary, all of
8:30these people in the same room?
8:32And Blanche was like, yeah, I mean, the shooter didn't even get close at all.
8:35Here, play this clip. Was it safe to have the president, cabinet officials, members of
8:42Congress, the first lady, the vice president, such high ranking officials all in the same
8:48room at the same time?
8:53Yes, of course. We're not going to stop living.
8:56We're not going to start doing our jobs.
8:57We're not going to stop all the work that we're doing every day.
9:00And by the way, and you were there last night as well, let's not forget
9:05that the suspect didn't get very far.
9:07He barely broke the perimeter.
9:09And by barely, I mean by a few feet.
9:11And so while this was extraordinarily dangerous and put a lot of lives at risk,
9:16and there's no doubt that that's something that we're going to have to learn from
9:20over the next couple of weeks, the system worked.
9:22We were safe. President Trump was safe.
9:25His Secret Service agents have kept him safe.
9:27All of us were safe.
9:28And so while, yes, it was a very tragic situation, as President Trump said last
9:35night, we are not going to stop living.
9:37We're not going to start being out there with the American people.
9:40And if that was his goal, he failed.
9:43And he was stopped. He was able, as you say, to breach that security checkpoint
9:48by merely a few feet.
9:51And I think that's an important point that at least Jennifer Jacobs points out.
9:54The shooting happened or the alleged shooting happened on the level above the ballroom where
9:59the White House Correspondents Association dinner was.
10:02I don't think people hearing about this or even thus in the room realize how
10:07far away from the president and people in the room this incident was.
10:11It was on another floor up some stairs and several sets of security away because
10:17the Washington Hilton's hotel and other public spaces were open for other functions.
10:22The entire building wasn't secured by the Secret Service.
10:26Just the specific areas where the White House Correspondents Association dinner was held, law enforcement
10:31officials have been saying. And so this is who they're saying the guy was who
10:35did it. This is who they're alleging.
10:36A guy by the name of Cole Allen.
10:39California, computer scientist, 31 years old.
10:42He went to Caltech, mechanical engineer, former student researcher at NASA's Elite Jet Propulsion Laboratory,
10:50computer scientist with advanced master's degree.
10:54At Caltech, he built offensive and defensive robotic systems, physics -based simulations.
10:59He graduated in 2017. This is what Asra Namani is reporting.
11:04Here's just a quick clip of him when he was in Caltech that has surfaced
11:09recently. Here, play this clip right here.
11:11College student Cole Allen developed a prototype for a wheelchair emergency brake.
11:16The wheelchair brakes tend to lock the wheels, but don't actually lock the chair to
11:21the ground. The idea with this is to prevent it from moving at all.
11:29Recent Aging Into the Future conference held by St.
11:31Barnabas Senior Services and the Eisner Foundation offered a test run on products that have
11:36the potential to enrich the lives of seniors.
11:39And I'll also show you how CNN's trying to frame this.
11:41This is how Brian Stelter is trying to frame this, that Donald Trump just called
11:47for unity. This was all about unity, everybody.
11:50Here, let's play this clip right here.
11:52You know, a couple minutes before this happened, I was with House Speaker Mike Johnson.
11:55I shook Johnson's hand. I was talking to him.
11:57And then I was walking across the ballroom, Victor, kind of taking the long way
12:01toward the CNN tables because I wanted to see some of my friends and some
12:04of my sources. And so I ended up on the ground next to an executive
12:08from Comcast, some people from NBC.
12:11And in that moment, you know, there was a lot of unity.
12:13And I'm thankful that President Trump talked about that unity last night and did not
12:18try to heighten the tensions or escalate the situation.
12:21He could have very easily gone out there and bashed the press last night and
12:25blamed the media for attracting this suspect to the ballroom.
12:29But instead, he basically said, we're all in this together.
12:32And that's certainly true. And that's how it feels this morning as well.
12:35More from MAGA right here, one of their top influencers, this guy, Scott Pressler, who's
12:40their main voter outreach guy.
12:42He posted the following. Dear Leader Thune and our Republican Senate majority, since Democrats are
12:47literally trying to assassinate President Trump, can you come back to Washington, D .C.
12:52and pass the Save America Act before Democrats have the opportunity to win back power?
12:57Thank you. As our editor -in -chief, Ron Filipkowski writes, MAGA activists and influencers seizing
13:02on the incident in a lobby that was actually not close to the ballroom for
13:07unrelated pieces of legislation. Then you had other MAGA influencers saying, the Secret Service agent
13:13shot had been working without pay for over a month.
13:16Allegedly, a Secret Service agent was shot in a bulletproof vest.
13:19And the Secret Service have been working without pay.
13:22Yeah, Secret Service agents have indeed been receiving pay during the ongoing DHS shutdown, which
13:28is really just impacting ICE, funded through other means like the One Big Beautiful Bill
13:32Act. The department remains unfunded, but agents are being paid.
13:36You know, the Secret Service are being paid.
13:39This was a lie that MAGA tried to push out.
13:42And there was this other part of the incident where you had Dan Scavino trying
13:46and failing to start the, you know, and by the way, there's no one closer
13:50to the regime than Dan Scavino.
13:51I mean, he's as close as you get.
13:54And as soon as this bizarre incident happened, again, not close to where the ballroom
13:59was, he wanted to start a USA chant.
14:02So he was like, USA, USA.
14:04And then nobody else was doing the chant.
14:06Here, play this clip. God bless America!
14:22USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!
14:47And again, in breaking protocol, you see that the Secret Service went for J .D.
14:52Vance first over Donald Trump.
14:53Here play this clip. And here then Todd Blanche is asked, why wasn't there, you
15:28know, why didn't you go through protocols regarding having a designated survivor not in the
15:33room? I mean, isn't that raising lots of red flags?
15:35Here's what Todd Blanche had to say.
15:37Let's play this clip right here.
15:39So you must have attended past correspondence dinner.
15:43I mean, for over 50 years, they've been held at this hotel.
15:48Last night, it was extraordinary because we had the president, the vice president, the speaker
15:54of the House, the secretary of state, the secretary of defense, the secretary of the
15:58Treasury, all in the same room.
15:59Those are five out of the top six leaders in that that line of succession
16:05for this country should something have.
16:07actually happened to the president himself.
16:09Was there planning for that?
16:11I mean, when we have the State of the Union, there's a designated survivor.
16:14Was there an increased concern about gathering all of our leadership in that room last
16:20night? We will not stop doing things like we did last night in this administration.
16:25And this man, if one of his goals was to get us to be scared,
16:29he failed. And let me just let me make clear that you're right.
16:33All those folks were in the room and more.
16:35And yet we were all safe.
16:37Law enforcement did their jobs.
16:38And so President Trump said last night, and he means it, and I very much
16:42agree with him, that this type of conduct will not deter him.
16:45It will not stop him from living.
16:47It will not stop him from doing his job.
16:49And that is not only him, but the vice president, the cabinet, the law enforcement,
16:54you all, journalists, you're not going to stop doing your jobs either because of this
16:59lone man that did what he did.
17:01And so this is something that we all are still reacting to because it's fresh.
17:08But I assure you that the types of things that you saw last night and
17:12the president being out there and available to the American public, that will not change
17:16because of what this guy tried to do last night.
17:18You know, folks, when I think about this incident last night and I think about
17:23how immediately the media was reporting the Trump regime narratives, oh, this is about unity
17:29and sympathy and we need to come together and rally together.
17:33And even if things are looking bad, how courageous, there's nothing, let me be very
17:36clear. If you want me to say anything that Donald Trump or his regime did
17:41last night was courageous, you're watching the wrong media network, okay?
17:46Nothing is going to change my criticism of his policies, of his regime, so long
17:51as those policies are harming and killing the American people.
17:55That's what we should focus on.
17:57This entire event from the outset was a complete farce, some black tie event with
18:03no comedian, even mocking the president where the media would be basically celebrating Donald Trump,
18:08destroying the first amendment. The whole concept of this event to me was disgusting in
18:14the first place. So no, you're not going to get any, you know, oh, I'm
18:18so sorry about what, no, stop it, stop, stop it.
18:21We're going to be very critical of the facts, what happened, and we're going to
18:25report honestly and truthfully right here.
18:27You know, you think about what MAGA is also focused on right now, how they
18:31want to also, you know, use this to what, like go after their enemies, Ilan
18:35Omar or whatever. I just noticed all of a sudden there's a lot of right
18:38-wing articles about like a winery tied to Ilan Omar's husband is closing as Congress
18:45probes her finances. Oh, really?
18:48Ilan Omar's husband and her finances, right?
18:50I mean, Donald Trump and his family have taken literally billions and billions of dollars
18:54and quid pro quos in the most disgusting way.
18:57But this is what right -wing media is focused on right now this weekend as
19:00well. I mean, it's so despicable as well when I even saw that that was
19:03like a major topic on right -wing media.
19:06And it's why I use Ground News because they're the best tool for me to
19:12not just stay objective in my reporting, but I want to see what's being reported
19:15on the right wing, on the left wing, in the so -called center, right?
19:20That's why I partner with Ground News every episode.
19:23They're the best tool for me in doing this reporting.
19:25It's an app and a website that pulls in thousands of articles from around the
19:29world and organizes them by story to show you how's the left, how's the center,
19:33how's the right framing stories differently?
19:35What are they prioritizing in terms of their coverage?
19:38For every story, the color -coded layout makes it easy to see the political bias
19:43of each source. I can filter for high -factuality sources and see which sources are
19:47independently owned or owned by a large media conglomerate with corporate interests.
19:52This lets you compare reporting on the same issue in one place so you can
19:55come to your own conclusion based on all the facts.
19:58On this article, for example, I saw that it was just right -wing media covering
20:02it and pushing it. So if you're reading right -wing news, you think this is
20:06like the biggest story, but it's just in your own echo chamber.
20:10And by the way, if you're reading left -wing media only, you have no clue
20:13that this is what they're talking about this weekend.
20:15We were like, I have a blind spot to what that's even going on over
20:18there, which is why Ground News even has a dedicated blind spot feed, a personal
20:23favorite of mine, which highlights stories being disproportionately covered on either side of the political
20:27aisle to help burst through echo chambers.
20:30Because I believe in Ground News so much, we're offering 40 % off the same
20:34vantage plan that I use for my research here.
20:37So just go click the link in the description or go to ground .news slash
20:42MTN or scan the QR code up here.
20:45It's one of the biggest discounts they've ever offered.
20:48Ground .news slash MTN. If you want to support the channel and get a clearer
20:53understanding of the world, try out Ground News.
20:56I want to get back to my coverage now as well.
20:58We're on state regime media.
21:00You had Peter Doocy saying because of this incident, Donald Trump may need to wear
21:04a bulletproof vest wherever he goes now.
21:06Here, play this clip. There are discussions underway at the White House about whether or
21:10not President Trump is going to have to start wearing a bulletproof vest for future
21:15events in public. Jackie. Peter, thank you so much.
21:19Then you had Todd Blanche saying, the way we respond to incidents like this, we
21:24can't hide in a bunker.
21:25We got to be strong right now.
21:27First off, y 'all are building the bunker.
21:29This golden ballroom thing you're talking about is Donald Trump said it's all about.
21:34about the bunker underneath. And what are we even talking?
21:39The individual barely breached the security perimeter and was actually nowhere near the ballroom.
21:46And you're all trying to act like Donald Trump did something courageous.
21:50He did not do anything courageous.
21:52His regime did not do anything courageous.
21:54This entire event from the outset was a ridiculous event in light of the regime
21:59attacking the first amendment. And I'm not going to move away from that position right
22:05now while the media tries to act like, Oh my God, can you believe this?
22:08I guess we shouldn't focus on the fact that Donald Trump has still, we still,
22:12we're still in a catastrophic war in Iran and Donald Trump manipulates the markets every
22:17day. Anyway, here we'll play this clip.
22:19On the one hand, we take those threats very seriously, always have, and we always
22:23will. On the other hand, we do not, the way we respond to those threats
22:27is not to go into a bunker and hide.
22:30It's to trust the law enforcement that are, that are keeping us safe.
22:33And, and that's what happened last night.
22:34And that's what I think we'll, we will continue to see going forward.
22:38But folks, what the media is also focused on is, is King Charles still coming
22:42this week? Because corporate news, that's the big deal.
22:45The King is coming to the United States, the King, everybody.
22:50Yay. And we're going to do a Royal welcome here because people who can't even
22:54afford their fricking groceries right now.
22:57And who can't afford gas and who can't pay their rent.
23:00They're like, Oh my gosh, is the King coming?
23:02Are we going to build more golden ballrooms?
23:05Are we going to build a horse and chariot for every, what are we even
23:08talking about here? The American people are suffering.
23:11This whole media ecosystem is the complete rot.
23:15No wonder they love Trump so much.
23:17The corporate news, they're all just a rotten bunch.
23:19Aren't they? Here, play this clip.
23:21Is everything in place for the visit of King Charles this week?
23:26Sorry, can you repeat that, George?
23:27Is everything in place for the visit of King Charles this week?
23:32Yeah. So look, I think that we, we expect that, that he, that suspect will
23:37be charged tomorrow morning in federal court with two counts, assault of a federal officer
23:42and use of a firearm during a crime of violence.
23:44We're going to continue to investigate and it'll just be a complaint tomorrow.
23:48And then Dime will be, will be coming in the coming days or weeks and,
23:52and go from there. Finally, you know, this is the third.
23:54And I mean, at least you had Ro Khanna going on networks this morning and
23:59at least forcefully pushing back.
24:00Let's play this clip right here.
24:02You've supported several unsuccessful resolutions to limit President Trump's war powers in Iran.
24:08Do you think President Trump will be able to secure congressional authorization for this war?
24:16No, Christian, let me be clear.
24:18We need to end this war.
24:20Americans are struggling. Gas prices are up.
24:23Food prices are up. Housing costs are up.
24:26The reason those prices are up is because the Strait of Hormuz is closed.
24:30And because of this war, it's caused devastation for working families.
24:35The president ran saying that he would bring prices down.
24:39Prices are up in his administration.
24:42And the way most Americans want this war to end.
24:45Even 54 % of Republicans believe we need negotiation to end the war.
24:50The Pope is saying end the war.
24:52Americans agree with the Pope.
24:53We need a negotiated settlement and this war needs to end.
24:56And I'll remind you all again that when yesterday started, Donald Trump was trying to
25:02justify why he was no longer sending Whitcoff and Kushner to speak with the Pakistanis
25:09and to go to Islamabad like he promised on Friday when he propped up the
25:13market and said there was going to be a major meeting in Pakistan.
25:16Here playing this clip. Yesterday you said to Reuters that we're dealing with who is
25:20in charge now. What changed from yesterday to today?
25:22Nothing. It's just that they gave us a paper that should have been better.
25:28And interestingly, immediately when I canceled it, within 10 minutes, we got a new paper
25:34that was much better. We talked about, we talked about, they will not have a
25:40nuclear weapon. Very simple. Look, that whole deal is not complicated.
25:44Iran could not have a nuclear weapon.
25:47Very simple. While all of this is going on, what we should be focused on,
25:52where we should be paying attention to, the massive energy crisis taking place in Asia.
25:57It's very reminiscent of when we saw what was going on in COVID in Asia,
26:02and then it spread, it spread, it spread, it spread, and it started going to
26:05Europe, and then it reached the United States.
26:06Do you remember that? Let me just share with you what's going on in Japan
26:10right now. One of the major things on Japanese television right now, as Javier Blaise
26:14explains, is the first oil tanker bringing crude oil to Japan because the energy crisis
26:24is that significant that they're focusing on.
26:27As he says, you know, Asia is truly short of crude oil when Japanese television
26:32covers the arrival of a single oil tanker, as a major news story right here.
26:38Here, play this clip. And also what was going on yesterday as well.
26:51Lots of reporting on the Epstein files before this White House correspondence dinner.
26:55The fact that Republicans wanted to, were working with Donald Trump to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell.
27:00The survivors were all in.
27:02Washington, D .C., to bring attention to this massive cover -up of the child sex
27:07trafficking ring. We learned more about the despicable conditions on our naval ships that our
27:14soldiers are forced to endure right now.
27:17We got you these photos from Newsweek from the USS Abraham Lincoln showing service members
27:22receiving minimal food portions as reports grow that some troops have lost significant weight because
27:28they're not even being fed.
27:31They're not even being fed anymore.
27:32I mean, so utterly horrific.
27:35And I'll just share this video with you, too.
27:37This was after the incident took place at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, where FBI
27:41Director Kash Patel was on his phone, just hanging outside the venue like a random
27:46White House Correspondents' Dinner in Tenny, finding, like, was he, like, trying to get an
27:50Uber or something? Here, let's just take a look at this.
27:53Do you guys have any idea what happened in there?
27:56Yeah, ma 'am, I know.
