0:59The families of soldiers returning to the United States in American flag -draped coffins are
1:07now calling out Donald Trump for this godforsaken, hellish, unlawful war that Donald Trump has
1:14unleashed in Iran. The human toll of Donald Trump's criminality is being felt here in
1:22the United States. And our hearts at the Midas Touch Network go out to the
1:27families of each and every service member who has passed in this horrific war.
1:34And for all those family members worried about their loved ones right now.
1:38And I know there are so many of you who watch the Midas Touch Network.
1:42I want you all to know we're thinking about you right now.
1:45And so we're starting to see families here in the United States calling out Donald
1:50Trump and his regime for this unlawful war in Iran that has taken the lives
1:57of their loved ones. I want to give you one such example of that.
2:02How a family of a fallen airman is calling out Donald Trump for this uncalled
2:08for war. So Tech Sergeant Tyler Simmons was a 28 -year -old airman in the
2:16Ohio Air National Guard. He was assigned to the 121st air refueling wing in Rickenbacker
2:25Air National Guard Base, Columbus, Ohio.
2:28He served as a boom operator.
2:31His special skill enabled him to reach one of the highest levels of being a
2:38boom operator. For that KC -135 strato tanker, that's the military aerial refueling aircraft.
2:47As you recall, on March 12, 2026, the KC -135 was involved in a crash
2:56according to the Trump regime and CENTCOM.
3:00They lie about everything, but their story is that there was neither friendly fire nor
3:07was there hostile fire, but that there was an incident in the air with two
3:12KC -135s involved in a maneuver that led to one KC -135 being damaged and
3:22one KC -135 crashing, resulting in the deaths of six U .S.
3:29Air Force members. Here's a photo of those six Air Force members that were aboard
3:36the KC -135. I want to read their names for you right now as I
3:41show you their photos. Then I want to show you what Tech Sergeant Tyler Simmons
3:45family is saying. Then I want to tell you a little bit about Tech Sergeant
3:50Tyler Simmons. So Tech Sergeant Tyler Simmons, he passed away in this horrific incident.
3:57Major John Kleiner, Captain Ariana Savino, Tech Sergeant Ashley Pruitt, Captain Seth Koval, and Captain
4:07Curtis Anx. They're ages 33, 31, 34, 38, 30, and Tech Sergeant Tyler Simmons was
4:1528 when he passed away.
4:17Now I want to show you what his mom, his grandma, his cousins are saying.
4:24Watch as the family of Tyler Simmons called out Trump for this unlawful, unnecessary war.
4:33They say this could have been prevented.
4:35We didn't need to be in war.
4:37This is uncalled for and families are suffering now because of Donald Trump and his
4:43despicable regime. Watch what they said.
4:46Let's play this clip. Simmons's family is making a plea calling on the United States
4:52to stop the war with Iran.
4:54This could have been prevented.
4:55We didn't need to be in this war.
4:58You know, this is this is uncalled for and this is what we get.
5:03Families are suffering right now.
5:06Not only our family, but there are other families that lost loved ones just to
5:10create a war. or because you want to create a war.
5:14It's not right. It is not right.
5:16More from Tyler Simmons family as well.
5:19I'm going to give you some more background on Tyler in just a moment.
5:23But as I noted, he's from Columbus and he's one of three Ohio Air National
5:30Guards member who died of the six three were from Ohio.
5:34I want you to watch what his mom says and his grandma say that Tyler
5:40told them just the day before he passed.
5:42This is what they told.
5:44This is what he told them on Wednesday.
5:46Here, play this clip. He called me on Wednesday and we were able to talk
5:52to him on Wednesday. I was over here and we actually had beautiful conversation.
5:58I was like, well, Tyler, how are you?
5:59He said, I'm good. I'm good.
6:01I'm good. But mother knows he was having some challenges, you know, he told me
6:11they hadn't been shot at.
6:13But he was OK. Tyler was just a fantastic, amazing man.
6:18He really, really was. He was a man who loved his job.
6:23He loved the people that he worked with.
6:27He loved his family. He just wanted to do amazing things because he's an amazing
6:32man. They say Tyler's legacy is clear.
6:35A young man from Columbus who dreamed of serving his country, lifting others and making
6:41an impact in the world.
6:43In just 28 years, his family says he did exactly that.
6:49More right here. How the family is mourning this incredible airman who died over Western
6:57Iraq as part of Donald Trump's unlawful war.
7:00Let's play this clip right here.
7:01The man who still loved adult night at Skate Zone and lit up the room
7:06with his personality and had his mother's dimples is gone.
7:10You know, he had a million dollar smile.
7:11If when people see this, see my cousin, they're going to be like, that smile
7:15was going to take him places and took him to his dream job.
7:18But as they gather to watch video of Tyler working that dream job, love and
7:23pride is now overshadowed by unimaginable grief.
7:27Tyler's gone. Oh, oh, help me, Jesus.
7:32Yeah, horrific, horrific, horrific. And our heart goes out to their family.
7:36Here's a photo right here of Simmons.
7:39A family member of Simmons wrote on Facebook, this loss has been heavy, not just
7:44for our family, but for the many lives you touched and the love you left
7:49behind. Here's another photo of Tyler Simmons taken from the Air Force.
7:55Here's how he's described. An Ohio Air Force soldier has been named as one of
8:00the six U .S. service members who died when a refueling aircraft crashed in Iraq
8:05this week, is how the Daily Mail puts it.
8:08Tyler Simmons was one of three National Guard airmen from Ohio involved in this crash.
8:13All six members on board perished from the crash.
8:18Simmons' mother broke down in tears as she recalled the moment uniformed officers appeared at
8:23their home to deliver the heartbreaking news that her only child had passed away.
8:28When he opened the door, it was another relative, he said, oh, no.
8:32And I jumped up and ran in there and they were lined up out on
8:36the porch, Cheryl Simmons told WBNS -10.
8:39You gotta be kidding me, she added, while covering her face as she began to
8:44sob. The devastated mother said her son promised her he would one day retire from
8:49military service and become a commercial pilot, but he returned in a coffin instead.
8:55Simmons' cousin, Tracy Peaks, remembered him for his million -dollar smile.
9:00When people see my cousin, they'd be like, that smile's gonna take him places.
9:04And it took him to his dream job, she told WBNS.
9:08Another family member said Simmons was truly an amazing man who was loving.
9:13He loved his dog, Grayson.
9:14He loved his family, his friends, Shana.
9:18He's just that guy. He would do anything for you, they told the outlet.
9:22Simmons was an Eastmore Academy graduate from Columbus who proudly served in the United States
9:27Air Force. According to Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther, we extend our deepest condolences to the
9:33family and friends of Tyler Simmons, whose life was taken far too soon in a
9:38recent accident in Iraq, Ginther wrote on Facebook.
9:41We honor his memory as a true hero who served our country with courage and
9:46dedication. Please keep Tyler's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult
9:51time. A former track coach described Simmons as a great young man who always had
9:57a smile on his face and a huge energy about him.
10:01I was so proud of the strides he made in the Air Force as a
10:04refueling pilot, but even more proud of the strides he made as a man, changing
10:09habits that no longer served him and putting his health and future first.
10:13State Representative Latanya Humphrey also wrote on Facebook, Tyler Simmons was one of us, a
10:19son of Columbus, a graduate of Eastmore Academy.
10:24And again, our heart goes out to his family.
10:26Now, I want to share with you what Donald Trump said aboard Air Force One
10:30last night when he was asked if he had a comment on the six service
10:35members who died last week, one of them being Simmons.
10:39One of them being Simmons.
10:39Donald Trump refused to take the question and started attacking the reporter for asking him
10:45the question. Just so utterly despicable.
10:49Here play this clip. Next Donald Trump aboard Air Force One was asked about his
11:07political action committee was sending out fundraiser emails using Donald Trump at a dignified transfer
11:15for another group of soldiers who were killed in his unlawful war in Iran.
11:21And then Donald Trump is asked, do you think it's appropriate that you're fundraising off
11:26of photos of you wearing campaign hats at the dignified transfer in Dover, Delaware, when
11:33our soldiers are returning in American flag draped caskets?
11:37You're raising money off that image as you're wearing campaign hats at the dignified transfer.
11:42Do you think that's okay?
11:44And Trump says, I do think it's appropriate.
11:46I didn't see it referring to, I guess he didn't see the email that he
11:50sent, but he says it is appropriate.
11:52Then he starts attacking the reporter at ABC and says, who are you with?
11:56Oh, you're ABC? Here play this clip.
11:59The vote is being criticized for using official White House photos of you at the
12:03dignified transfer. And the PAC is also promising access to secret - Well, I was
12:08at the dignified transfer, unlike - Do you think it's an appropriate email to send
12:12your credit for a statement?
12:13I didn't see it. I didn't see it.
12:15I mean, somebody puts it out.
12:16We have a lot of people working for us, but there's nobody that's better to
12:19the military than me. And all you have to do is look at the election,
12:23look at the election results, look at the kind of votes that we get, look
12:28at the poll numbers. There's nobody that's ever been hired as a president than me
12:33with the military. Can you give a comment on the six dead soldiers?
12:35Who are you with? ABC News.
12:38One of the worst, most fake, most corrupt - Can you give a comment on
12:42the dead soldiers? You know what, ABC News?
12:44I think it's maybe the most corrupt news organizations on the planet.
12:48I think they're terrible. Can you give a comment on the - Okay, I don't
12:50want anyone from ABC. Right here.
12:52What's Israel - Thank you, sir.
12:54What's Israel doing to help?
12:57Now, even the foreign minister of Iran is putting out messages like this.
13:03He's saying, I've been told that family of U .S.
13:07soldiers killed in the war of choice on Iran are relying on public donations.
13:12As fair and equitable deal was within reach, those providing poor advice to POTUS, to
13:17Trump, are responsible for bloodshed.
13:20This war is imposed on both Americans and Iranians.
13:25And the foreign minister of Iran is posting an article about how Jared Kushner, just
13:31even this week, has been soliciting funds for his private equity firm to raise $5
13:38billion while Trump is involved in this unlawful war against Iran.
13:43And the foreign minister of Iran is saying that while Kushner's doing that, he's told
13:48that families right now have to do GoFundMes because their loved ones have died and
13:54they don't have any money in the United States right now.
13:57Also, one of the things that Aragji, the foreign minister of Iran posts is that,
14:03I told this to CBS, Iran has neither sought a truce nor were not involved
14:08in talks. Such claims by Trump are delusional.
14:12Our powerful armed forces will keep firing until Trump realizes that the illegal war he's
14:18imposing on both Americans and Iranians is wrong and must never be repeated.
14:23Victims must also be compensated.
14:26Here's what a veteran, uh, Pete Buttigieg, by the way, we've had him a lot
14:31on the Midas Touch network, but he was on CNN and here he talks about
14:35Trump raising money for his political operations off of the dignified transfer photos while Trump's
14:42wearing a campaign hat. I mean, how grotesque is that?
14:46Seriously, what a sicko. Here, play this clip.
14:49Let's also remember that in the past, Iran's nuclear program was contained without a shot
14:55being fired. I think President Trump thought he could get a better deal than the
15:00Obama administration did. He failed to get that better deal and he went off and
15:05launched a war without planning, without being ready for even some of the most basic
15:09things. I mean, it is a certainty that the military would have advised him that
15:13the Straits of Hormuz would have been closed, that that was a likely scenario.
15:17And yet they're talking about this and clearly acting as though they didn't think this
15:22would happen. Secretary Hegseth went so far as to say that the Strait of Hormuz
15:26is open other than the fact that there would be fire against vehicles transiting the
15:31Strait. This is clearly amateur hour at the Pentagon and in the White House.
15:36And again, the price is being paid by all of us.
15:39You can also just tell from the administration's attitude toward this war.
15:43The fact that they're putting out videos treating this like a video game is not
15:47a video game for the families of the fallen.
15:50And then just this week, we saw fun campaign fundraising materials being put out emails
15:55where the president's committee, the president's political operation was raising money off of images of
16:02him at a dignified transfer.
16:05Any politician who does that.
16:07...has no business leading American troops in the war.
16:10If the president is willing to raise campaign funds over the bodies of America's war
16:16dead, he is unfit to be the commander -in -chief.
16:19More from Pete Buttigieg right here, saying that, you know, what's interesting is that Iraq
16:24was sold to us on a false pretense.
16:27Iran hasn't even been sold on any pretense.
16:29We have literally no clue why we're there right now.
16:32Here, play this clip. ...to be a part of that generation of soldier.
16:34What's your take? What I'm worried about is not the soldiers and the people who
16:41are serving. What I'm worried about is their political leadership, like Pete Hegseth and Donald
16:46Trump. You know, we lived through a war that was sold to us on false
16:50pretenses when I was younger.
16:52This war has not been sold on any pretense.
16:55The president just went ahead and did it.
16:57Here's the biggest thing that has not changed since the war in Afghanistan or the
17:01war in Iraq. The biggest thing that has not changed is who pays the price.
17:04We have now seen 13 American service members killed.
17:08And when you prepare to go to war, the thing you think about, the thing
17:11you most dread, is your family being the ones to get that knock on the
17:16door. More than a dozen American families have now gotten that knock on the door,
17:20and the president has basically assured us that there will be more where that came
17:24from. And while they're paying the ultimate price, every American is paying some price.
17:29Right now, mortgage rates are up because of this war.
17:31Food is going to be more expensive because of this war.
17:34And of course, the price of gas that we're paying at the pump is more
17:37expensive because of this war.
17:39Finally, my good friend Ro Khanna went on state regime media, which calls itself Fox.
17:45And here's what he had to say about the war.
17:47Here, play this clip. There was no imminent threat.
17:50Now there's a threat to the United States.
17:52We've created a threat. There were no ICBMs that Iran could launch here.
17:57I believe they said they had the material to make 11 bombs.
18:01But they couldn't reach the American homeland.
18:03I mean, everyone acknowledges they don't have ICBMs.
18:06Now we've put our troops at risk.
18:0913 Americans are dead. And I hope we can end this war.
18:13I just want the president to declare victory and the war.
18:16I don't want more Americans dying.
18:18I don't want $2 billion a day going into the Middle East.
18:21You know, we were dragged into this war in a way that isn't helping the
18:26American people. People, you know what they talk about when I, in my district around
18:30the country, how are my kids going to get jobs?
18:32How am I going to focus on getting health care?
18:35How can I afford child care?
18:36Why are grocery prices too high?
18:38That's what people are concerned about.
18:40They don't want us spending $2 billion a day fighting a war in the Middle
18:43East and putting our troops at risk.
18:46Hear your point on the economy.
18:48I think the other side of this whole debate is that, you know, once Iran
18:52gets a weapon, negotiation doesn't really matter much because, you know, the whole field changes.
18:59So that's where we are today.
19:01They were nowhere close to getting a weapon.
19:04President Trump just six months ago said, we've destroyed all of it.
19:07They're nowhere close to getting a nuclear weapon or getting that enrichment.
19:11And we could have continued with tough sanctions and diplomacy to make sure that they
19:16did not enrich. But what happened?
19:18Netanyahu said he was striking.
19:20Rubio said, oh, Netanyahu said I'm striking.
19:22I guess we got to go.
19:24American people are tired of us being dragged into these Middle East wars.
19:28They want American leaders who are actually going to put America first, put money into
19:32our manufacturing base, into jobs here, into child care here.
19:35That's why the president's numbers are down.
19:37He hasn't released the Epstein files.
19:38He promised that, and Massey and I said, forced him to release the Epstein files.
19:42He said he wasn't going to get us into foreign wars.
19:45He's getting us into foreign wars.
19:46I just hope he stops with what he's doing and remembers what he ran on
19:51in 2016 and 2020 and 2024.
19:54Congressman, I'm sorry we're out of time because there's, you know, a lot that the
19:57other side would point to with the data points you just said, you know, including
20:02that they had material to build bombs.
20:04And I just want to repeat that our heart goes out to the family of
20:09Tyler Simmons, the family of all service members who have lost their life.
20:14And, you know, I know that this video, you know, may be watched by people
20:22who know him, mothers. I hope, you know, I hope just a little bit we
20:28can do anything we can here at the network to preserve his memory however we
20:33can. Hit subscribe. Help us get to 7 million subscribers.
20:39Thank you for watching.
