2:35All right, welcome back to the show, everybody.

2:37I'm your host, David Rutherford, and I am stoked to be with you today.

2:43We've got a full show, so let's just get right into it.

2:46All right, recently, the Supreme Court came out with a ruling on February 20th in

2:53the case, which is Learning Resources, Inc.

2:57versus Trump and Trump versus VOS Selections, Inc., right?

3:02And in this case, basically, what they were arguing is that Trump's tariffs, which he

3:10enacted under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, was defeated by a vote of six

3:19to three, right? In the main ruling or whatever you want to call it, we

3:26call it the majority opinion, if you will.

3:30I want to make sure my old man's happy with me.

3:32He's a 50 -plus -year lawyer.

3:34And if I got that wrong, he's going to beat me.

3:37And so in his ruling, he basically came out and said that, and this was

3:44supported, by the way, by Sotomayor, Kagan, Gorich, Barrett, and Jackson.

3:49And they were at the emphasis that the IEEPA's language allowing the president to regulate

3:56importation during national emergencies is broad, but does not encompass tariffs, which are distinct as

4:04a revenue -raising measure on domestic importers, right?

4:08And there was also dissent that was in there by Kavanaugh, Justice, and Alito.

4:15Now, there were two dissensions, one written by, the main one written by Kavanaugh, and

4:22the second was, the independent also was by Judge Thomas.

4:28And basically what they were arguing is that regulate, the concept of regulating importation underneath

4:36that fits the idea of tariffs as well too.

4:40And that there were two examples in the past where Nixon's 71 tariffs, and then

4:47also Ford had some actions too, had set a precedent for Trump being able to

4:53do this, right? Now, what, of course, does Trump do after this comes out?

4:59And he comes and he goes, that's a horrible decision.

5:02You're basically stripping our ability to increase the economic prowess of America.

5:11And the big thing was that it would lead to a mess of unwinding all

5:17the trade deals that have done worth trillions of dollars, and then also potentially requiring

5:23the refunding of... billions, right, in collected duties.

5:27Now, there's also a concept that this could also hurt or make an impact on

5:33existing companies that are integrated in this, these tariffs that have been taking place.

5:39But there's, you know, the other side is that it's going to give relief to

5:43a lot of companies out there that said these unconstitutional tariffs have been very difficult

5:49on their business models and businesses.

5:53You know, right after they basically, the Trump White House came out and said, hey,

6:00guess what? Whatever you say, we're going to go around this.

6:04And they immediately imposed a 10 % global tariff on all imports, later raised to

6:1215. So, oh, Trump comes out and he goes, you know what?

6:16I wish I could do the Trump voice, man.

6:18It'd be like, it'd be so key if I could do it.

6:20But he basically comes out and goes, oh, yeah.

6:22All right. I'm going to make it 10.

6:24Just blanket tariffs because I can do that in this other subsection of this law

6:28over here. I can do, you know what?

6:30To hell with 10%. I'm going to make it 15, right?

6:34Just as a nephew to everybody who thought they had them in check.

6:39And this was under section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974, which allows such

6:45measures for up to 150 days without congressional approval.

6:51He's referenced other methods and practices, statutes and authority that have recognized by the court

6:58and Congress, including potential use of sections 201, 232, and 301 of various trade laws

7:05for targeted and broader duties and stated that he would, in quotations, figure something else

7:11out as a pushback on the Supreme Court.

7:17Now, there are some ideas within U .S.

7:20Customs and Border Protection announced that it would cease collecting the invalidated IEPA tariffs effective

7:27February 21st for the estimated $200 billion already collected since the tariff.

7:35There is no plan for how this money is going to be distributed.

7:39So you've got the Supreme Court justices that went against the tariffs, right?

7:47Six to three, led by Chief Justice Roberts, who basically said, well, that's not our

7:54problem. There was no mention in any of the writings or rulings or anything like

8:00that that said, oh, by the way, of all the money that you did, this

8:04will be the best way to repay this or make all the investors whole again,

8:10right? Or the tariffed people, countries whole again.

8:13Now, when I look at this whole thing, man, what I see is a pretty

8:21good backstop by the Supreme Court, right?

8:24Now, they're not saying you can't do tariffs, but they're saying you can't do tariffs

8:29under this particular section of the law.

8:33And there's a part of me that says, you know what?

8:36Checks and balances of power.

8:37I dig that. I like that a lot.

8:40And I think that's critical.

8:42And I think it's good to check some of the powers that's coming out of

8:47the executive branch in Trump's office there.

8:50I think it's a good thing to apply a little checks and balances.

8:54However, the flip side of that is we have been getting hosed for as long

9:00as I can remember on tariffs, right?

9:03We're literally subsidizing the rest of the world, whether it's pharmaceuticals, cars, or we've destroyed

9:10our own car industry, the steel industry, rare earth minerals we've allowed get away from

9:16us. I mean, China runs what 92 % of the rare earth minerals, all the

9:21critical things that we need for national security, as well as our industrial might, right?

9:30There's a group of people that are responsible for the current situation we're in.

9:35And then on top of that, being 38, they're talking maybe by the end of

9:39this year, we might hit 40, certainly by the beginning of Q1 next year, we'll

9:44be at $40 trillion in debt.

9:48And so, and it doesn't look like, no, it's not going to happen that this

9:54Congress, which is controlled by the GOP, right?

9:58Because Trump has the Congress, Trump has the House, has the Senate, has the judicial,

10:04right? Has pretty much everything under his wing, and they haven't done shit in order

10:09to gain control of the spending.

10:12Now, other than basically subdue doge and really kind of push it off to the

10:18side, right? We don't see any other reeling in of spending.

10:23In fact, what's kind of ironic is Trump, you know, a few months ago just

10:26came out and said, you know what, we're going to push the defense spending up

10:30to $1 .5 trillion annually.

10:33So when you think about all this as a pure knuckle dragger, my whole thing

10:41is like, all right, you've bankrupt me, you bankrupt my kids.

10:45How are we going to make my kids' kids get back to a place where

10:49there's some fiscal sense taking place?

10:52in the world. And are we going to be able to do that and maintain

10:57the reserve currency of the U .S.

10:59dollar by making sure people still want to us have the strongest economic engine of

11:05the world? Because as soon as we're no longer the superpower of purchasing, right, and

11:11that our markets are the strongest and the dollar still the strongest around the world,

11:17as soon as one of those three legs gets pulled out from us, guess what's

11:23going to happen? All right.

11:25We're all we're going to lose that prowess.

11:27And then the impact of that is going to be catastrophic.

11:30Now, that's all unless they get to digital currencies, which they're trying to do anyways,

11:35in a race, all kind of what how we've been running with money for the

11:40last, I don't know, a couple thousand years.

11:43Right. Certainly, we've gotten away with coin, gotten away from coins, gold, silver, that whole

11:48thing. Now we're moving. Bitcoin doesn't look like it's stable.

11:52So, you know, they're going to tokenize the Federal Reserve and all other the European

11:57Union. They're there. Some people are saying months away from a digital currency.

12:02So my whole point is tariff the shit out of other countries, get the money

12:09back that we've let go because of our offshoring of our middle class and the

12:15industrialization of America, because we buy all the most stuff.

12:19Why don't we get the best prices?

12:20It seems a little odd to me.

12:22Right. So if I were having a company and I were going to sell to

12:25Walmart, I wanted to get into Walmart because they have the the greatest vast numbers

12:30of customers and they come to me and we they're going to say, all right,

12:34right, I need your price to be in this section right here for it to

12:39be suitable for a customer.

12:40I'm like, all right, well, then I'm going to charge you more and I'm going

12:44to put it out and they're going to be like, no, you're not.

12:46You're going to pick the price we tell you and you're going to sell there

12:50just like Amazon does, just like all these.

12:53So why can't America do that, too?

12:56Well, as you go back and you begin to dive in how this all lays

13:00out, right, these are most likely political things that are taking place to reduce the

13:07strength and the ability of the Trump administration to project U .S.

13:12dominant economic power. At least that's my belief.

13:15And and in the future, we're talking, Jordy and I are working on a potential

13:18show that digs in to the justice system and its relationship to people like Norm

13:25Eisen, Mark Elias and the other democratic political legal machine that is working around the

13:33clock 24 -7 to subvert the Trump administration, the MAGA movement and conservatives in general.

13:40So, you know, my thing is let's tariff the shit out of them.

15:52pull up the images of the, that I sent you with the description of the

15:59buildup in Iran. Obviously, everybody knows there is a massive buildup of American military might

16:07and power, which don't get me wrong.

16:09I mean, I love the flex of, of what we're seeing out there for sure.

16:17And. It makes me proud of the U .S.

16:23military, our capabilities, our mobilization abilities, our efforts that we have, the types of aircraft

16:30carriers, right? And so when you look at U .S.

16:33CENTCOM, EUCOM, INDO -PACOM, and all the naval and air assets that are in the

16:40region right now, it's the biggest buildup that we've had since the Iraq War.

16:47And I was in and around Kuwait when this was taking place.

16:53I'll never forget when I left for Afghanistan out of Kuwait in May of 2002,

16:58I got back to Kuwait in Bahrain at the end of September of 2002, and

17:08there were tanks as far as the eye could see.

17:11There were new units and troops and airborne and everybody.

17:14I mean, it was Marines everywhere, vehicles everywhere.

17:17And I was like, whoa, someone's going to get whoop -ass coming here for sure,

17:22right? You don't mobilize, you know, two carrier strike groups, all of these air assets

17:30that are in the air, right?

17:32You got, what, nine squadrons on the carrier air wing that include Tomcats, F -837s,

17:43F -887s, Black Lions, Rawhides.

17:47I like that one. Bear Aces, the VAW -124, right?

17:51The amount of aircraft, and then the U .S.

17:54air assets in CENTCOM, right?

17:5954 F -35s, 36 F -15s, right?

18:03You have all these regional support tankers, all this stuff.

18:09Um, um, it's just, like, it's massive.

18:13This is an absolute massive buildup.

18:16So what does this tell me?

18:18This tells me that if Iran doesn't stipulate to, uh, what we are proposing, and

18:26I'll get into that in a second, that, uh, we're going to drop some bombs,

18:30right? And we're going to drop a lot of bombs.

18:33Um, now everybody automatically, uh, actually, let me just wind up because you, if, if

18:38you're living under, uh, in a van down by the river, you know, you got

18:43to understand why we're here, right?

18:46So essentially we're here because multiple reasons, right?

18:53Uh, and, and many people wanted to just believe, say that this is Israel's war,

18:58uh, right? This is the final stage of Israel's influence on American foreign policy, the

19:05whole thing. And, and I'm, um, there's a, I'm a hundred percent sure that Netanyahu

19:11and the Israeli government definitely wants Iran out of the way, especially after years and

19:16years and years of them, uh, waging war against Israel through their proxies, Hamas and

19:23Hezbollah, uh, the terrorist acts against them from October 7th, uh, all the other, uh,

19:29times that missile strikes. And, you know, so there's no doubt that Israel wants Iran

19:34to be, um, made, uh, uh, uh, uh, infertile, if you will, with their, uh,

19:43military abilities. Right. But there's also, there is, uh, uh, a lot to be said

19:49about, um, dismantling, uh, Iran's capability regionally, right.

19:56Uh, and to keep them, uh, destabilized and not being able to be a substantial

20:01influence or power broker in the region in particular.

20:05And think about this, all of the work that's been taking place with our foreign

20:10policy, our state department and our, uh, foreign advisors going out that have been striking

20:16these multi multi -billion dollar deals with Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, right.

20:24All these middle Easterns, Egypt, Lebanon, right.

20:29Uh, uh, Jordan, you've got all these middle Eastern countries that have basically said, yeah,

20:35we want to work with the president.

20:37We want to reinforce those relationships.

20:39We want to open up economic trade and we want stability in the middle East.

20:44So that's a reality too.

20:46Now on June 22nd, this past summer, right, there was a massive strike and this

20:52is after the 12 day Israel, Iran war.

20:55Remember they were just launching missiles at each other.

20:59Uh, Israel was getting waylaid with missiles.

21:01I, you know, they were doing targeted strikes against, uh, uh, Iranian headshed.

21:06And then on June 22nd, the U S came in, uh, and we, uh, dropped

21:13what? 15 Jade hams on, on, on three main nuclear sites, uh, which was the

21:19Fordo Natanz and Isfron, uh, nuclear sites.

21:22And originally we were all fired up because it was like, yo, we just annihilated,

21:30annihilated them and crushed their entire nuclear.

21:34And then it was like, well, maybe we didn't get all of it.

21:37Then it came out and it was like, you know what?

21:40You had an impact. You set them back maybe a couple months, a couple years

21:44at most, but you didn't destroy everything, right?

21:48And that was kind of the interesting reality based on what the White House spokespeople

21:55and they were telling us that, oh, they're done, they're gone.

21:58We've destroyed it all. And then, you know, Israel's like, you didn't destroy them all.

22:03And then Iran's like, you didn't destroy us all.

22:06And so there was, I think, a false impression.

22:12And a lot of pundits were like, oh, now we're going to war with Iran.

22:15This is horrible. You saw Trump's numbers be affected by it.

22:20And then recently, you had a bunch of protests that started in December in Iran,

22:28which led to anywhere from low numbers are 2 ,000.

22:35Some people are saying it's 6 ,000.

22:38Iranian protesters were massacred by Iranian government soldiers and strike teams.

22:50They estimate, they say that about 200 of their fighters were killed, about 3 ,000

22:56civilians. Some people, some civil rights groups have it as high as 6 ,800.

23:02There's one Amnesty International, the UN special reporter on Iran estimate that are 5 ,000

23:09to kill, with figures possibly soaring to 20 ,000.

23:12So that happened for, and it's still ongoing.

23:15They're still putting down these protests.

23:17And when that popped, there were a ton of people within our, let's say, international

23:27foreign affairs pundits, different governments were saying, yeah, let's go.

23:33Israel in particular was saying, yeah, let's go in and let's get rid of them.

23:38Lindsey Graham was saying they're a definite threat.

23:42You have a lot of other people in Congress and in the Senate are saying,

23:44yeah, they're an existential threat.

23:47We got to do it.

23:49But to Trump's restraint, which I don't even know what that is.

23:57I mean, that could be the greatest oxymoron I've ever said in my entire existence

24:01within Trump's restraint. We have not gone to war and we reinitiated talks because before

24:07those talks broke down. And so we've been in talks.

24:11We had our first rounds, which started on February 6th in Oman.

24:16And the whole idea was there was ballistic missiles would be reduced.

24:20Support of Hamas and Hezbollah would be reduced.

24:24And we would essentially have to really discuss about uranium enrichment and their nuclear program.

24:32Those failed. Second round, February 17th, led by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragachi.

24:41And he met indirectly with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

24:47Now, although the Iranians said we were encouraged by the communication, the U .S.

24:52said there was no major progress.

24:55And this big stall was that essentially they wanted them to end any and all

24:59uranium enrichment, which Iran says we have every right to do it as long as

25:03we adhere to the IAEA.

25:05And then the last round starts on the 3rd of February.

25:09There's been a couple of proposals supposedly administered that are going to be dropped tomorrow

25:14and on Wednesday. And America has come out and said, all right, this is the

25:21last chance for you clowns to agree to these stipulations.

25:27Otherwise, stand by to stand by.

25:29And Trump was quoted recently in an interview where he's like, you know, I've stopped

25:34eight war, soon to be nine, probably.

25:37And everybody's like, what, what did he just say?

25:39You know, wait, what? And then the other thing that's gaining, you know, crazy attention

25:45this weekend is there was a Tucker Carlson interview with Ambassador Huckabee, where Tucker Carlson

25:52presented Ambassador Huckabee with a biblical, some type of biblical question about, you know, the

26:03expansion of the greater Israel project and taking over the Middle East.

26:07So would you play that for me real quick?

26:09Israel. It's a land that God gave through Abraham to a people that he chose.

26:15And so it is entirely fair for me with respect to ask, what land are

26:19you talking about? Because I just read Genesis 15, as I have many times.

26:23And that land, I think it says from the Nile to the Euphrates, which is

26:28once again, basically the entire Middle East.

26:31So God gave that land to his people, the Jews, or he didn't.

26:35You're saying he did. What does that mean?

26:37Does Israel have the right to that land?

26:40Because you're appealing to Genesis.

26:42You're saying that's the original deed.

26:45It would be fine if they took it all.

26:47All right. All right. All right.

26:48All right. All right. So this interview, like, stirred up all kinds of things.

26:53Tucker was attacking him for biblical references and what was the chosen people.

26:59And again, Huckabee was pushing back like, dude, and he was hitting them on the

27:03Epstein files, which I thought was interesting.

27:04And he's like, I haven't read the Epstein files.

27:07You know, but it was, I think the biggest thing that has resulted out of

27:13this, whatever place you stand on, the big.

27:15The biggest comment that came out of this was one that Huckabee made a comment

27:20saying that he would be okay if Israel were to get the biblical borders that

27:27it's seeking in, you know, allegedly seeking in the greater Israel project, right?

27:35Which, you know, goes some of Egypt, a big chunk of Saudi Arabia, all Lebanon,

27:41all Jordan, all the way up to, what, the Euphrates River up in Iraq, right?

27:46So this massive swath of land, and then what that did is that prompted, guess

27:52what, all these Middle Eastern countries that are a part of this to snap back

27:56and go, what are you talking about?

27:59Like, what does that even mean?

28:00How can the ambassador to Israel say that, you know, he's okay with the greater

28:06Israel project, right? So what I think you're going to have this week is you're

28:12going to have this buildup take place.

28:15My impression is I think there's probably a 75 % chance there's going to be

28:21some strikes on Iran. I think whether we're going to do it or Israel's going

28:27to do it, I think that's inevitable.

28:29The question is to what degree, to what level is it going to, you know,

28:35really impede, right? Because the greater context, I believe, of this whole thing is to

28:42get to that peace in the Middle East, which is peace with the Israelis and

28:47the Palestinians, right? Which has been tentatively holding because you have all these Middle Eastern

28:53countries that are coming in and supporting the rebuilding of Gaza to create these new

28:58economic hubs on the Mediterranean that have these integrated components of all these different economies.

29:05And that would build the Palestinians back up into a way where they could become

29:09more self -sufficient and prosper more.

29:13And that's all based on these security guarantees, obviously, that have to do with Iranians

29:20funding of Hamas and Hezbollah and all this.

29:22So this is an incredibly complicated situation.

29:26My hope is that we can get to a deal, right?

29:30That's by far that there are no bombs dropped.

29:33This doesn't escalate. No, because I don't know anybody that actually wants to go to

29:38war, especially none of my friends, GWAT people.

29:41No, I don't want to send any young people, Geordi's age and younger.

29:45I don't want to send any young boys over to Iran to fight Iran.

29:48I don't believe they're an existential threat to America at all in any way, shape

29:54or form. I think there's other countries that represent a bigger threat for sure.

29:58And I think it would really destroy the rest of Trump's term.

30:04I think he's already battling some issues within the MAGA base as well.

30:10Well, the MAGA base is pretty strong, but those coalition of other people that attached

30:15on to the MAGA base so he could win categorically in 2024.

30:20So this is an incredibly hot issue.

30:23I'll be paying close attention.

30:25Hopefully you will too. And hopefully we can get out of this with a good

30:29agreement with him. All right.

34:28What's up? The cartel wars have officially begun.

34:33Dude, they're popping off, dude.

34:35They are popping off, right?

34:37It's interesting. There's a – my wife has a couple people she knows that just

34:43went down to Guadalajara, right?

34:47They, like, left this weekend and now are down there and struggling to try and

34:51get out. If you're not familiar, if you haven't paid attention, Guadalajara is the second

34:57biggest city in Mexico. And this past weekend, the senior member of the Jalisco New

35:05Generation cartel – go ahead and pull up that.

35:09You can just play it while I'm talking.

35:11And the senior member, the leader, whose name was Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes or El Mencho,

35:22right? El Mencho. I love that name, El Mencho, was killed apparently by Mexican special

35:31forces in conjunction – get with this.

35:33And I looked at a couple different reports to make sure this was accurate.

35:38Share it in conjunction with U .S.

35:41intelligence. Now, that's critical because if we're making sure – if we're interacting with the

35:51Mexican national government and coordinating strikes now, that is a significant escalation of what's taking

36:00place. Now, you also got to do a little research and understand – and I've

36:04done this before in the show – is the impact that the cartels have in

36:09every region, with every politician, in every industry, the cartels play that big of a

36:15role in Mexico. And so, if you have targeted killings or snatches that are taking

36:22place, man, and that were involved, this is going to escalate.

36:25So, what happened? Well, that cartel responded accordingly and lit Guadalajara on fire, literally.

36:35Cars were burning all over, as you saw in the video.

36:38They lit some supermarkets, bus stops, gas stations.

36:43That led to a bunch of gunfights with the cartels and the Mexican National Guard

36:48and local police forces who were getting lit up because, what?

36:52But the cartels, man, cartels have been making buku money for the last, you know,

36:59you could probably argue the last 20 years.

37:04And if you want, you can go back and check out, in the Obama administration,

37:09the little fiasco of we were running – we were allowing guns to be sold

37:14to the cartels to track them to see where they ended up.

37:17And kind of a bunch disappeared, ended up a Border Patrol guy, ended up getting

37:21shot with one of them.

37:23But, you know, the cartels have been building their arsenal for years and years and

37:30years. Now, I don't know about you, but when I look at a cartel and

37:35they're better equipped than your local law enforcement in Guadalajara, I don't think there's much

37:41of a match there. Now, thankfully, Mexico responded in kind and there's a couple cool

37:47videos of Black Hawk gunships doing gun runs on them.

37:52And now you're going to balance this out.

37:53And there was also some insertion videos of Mexican, like Marines getting inserted to fight

38:03these battles as well too.

38:05Now, what does this mean for U .S.-Mexican relations?

38:08I think on our side, it's awesome.

38:11Their side, it's potentially catastrophic, right?

38:14Because what already happened? Well, oh, Trump shut down that border.

38:21And if the border shut down, what does that mean for the cartels, right?

38:27How many billions of dollars in drug trade, human trafficking, and just other, they sell

38:35illegal oil, they sell illegal products, they sell rare earth minerals.

38:41They, all this stuff that's going back and forth.

38:44Well, that's been pretty much shut down or more so than it ever has.

38:49And so what happens if you're a cartel, excuse me, what happens if you're a

38:53cartel and the grand majority of what you're making is coming from these illegal attunions,

39:00it goes away. Well, now you start to get pinched, right?

39:04So what happens? There's usually a power shift.

39:06So what do you do if you're an intelligence agency?

39:11You exacerbate that power structure.

39:13So what do you do?

39:15You kill the head guy.

39:16And now all your little underling minions are like, well, this is my opportunity, right?

39:22Think Game of Thrones, think Vikings, think whatever TV show you've ever seen, Breaking Bad,

39:31right? Think all those, like that's what's going to play out.

39:34You're going to have a power vacuum and that's going to create an internal war.

39:38Now, they're already seeing some of this take place.

39:41And if you follow some, there's some great journalists out there who cover the cartels

39:46and they've been covering kind of the internal civil wars that are emerging.

39:51So cartels are definitely vulnerable financially.

39:54But man, they've been built up so dramatically.

39:57Their groups are so strong and have so many weapons.

40:00I mean, they've got drones, night vision, 50 cows, tons of ammunition, rockets, right?

40:07Sean did some interviews with reporters that said there are, you know, missile systems that

40:15were supposedly to be over in Ukraine that have wound up in Mexico and even

40:21near our border. There's reports of those types of things.

40:24Sarah Adams talks about, you know, a ton of ordinance or undetectable suicide vests that

40:32have been integrated with terrorist organizations that may be partnered with the cartels to bring

40:39them in the United States so they possibly have some of their technology.

40:43So what this does is this takes the dial where we were at, which was

40:48probably like a five and puts us at an eight, right?

40:53Now, what does that mean for us?

40:55Does that mean that violence will break out into the United States?

40:59Could for sure. But what it certainly means is that Mexico has got itself a

41:06problem. So how long does the President Scheinbaum go before she looks at President Trump

41:12and says, Mr. President, would you give us some operational help, right?

41:18And that's when the discombobulator comes out again, right?

41:22The machine that when zapped, you bleed through your nose and your eyes and you

41:26got a migraine headache, you can't function, you poop your pants, the whole thing.

41:30And then a bunch of Delta dogs come in and canoe your head in 50

41:35seconds or less, right? So, again, is this good for American citizens, Mexican citizens?

41:43Hell no. Is it good for stemming the flow of illegal activity or shutting down

41:50people that have control of the southern border in the country?

41:53But it's yet to be seen.

41:56I don't know. I'm kind of on the fence with it.

42:00I do know that these people are ruthless, cold -blooded killers who don't care.

42:06When you look at how many fentanyl deaths we've had year over year since COVID,

42:10it's something like coming up on 600 ,000 people have died from fentanyl overdoses and

42:15drug overdoses. That's directly correlated to the cartels.

42:18So if you disrupt these bands, these gangs, these murderous bastards, I'm pretty okay with

42:26that. Like, I'm all right if some of these guys get killed.

42:30What I'm not okay is if American tourists or civilians get taken hostage and killed,

42:37and that's all very much a possibility.

42:39Or they start running assaults into the United States.

42:43Or guess what? They use their networks and they activate the terrorists that they're friends

42:47with. And now we get Sarah Adams' predictions start coming true.

42:51So that's all something to think about across the spanner spectrum of what this means,

42:57all right? We'll certainly pay attention to it.

43:00Uh, well, maybe we'll, uh, update you, uh, for Friday this week, but, um, yeah,

43:06cartel wars are on boy.

43:09It's not all bad news though, because we are also getting fantastic memes from this

43:14already, such as this one.

43:19Marco Rubio realizing he has to go undercover to replace Ellen Menchel.

43:23There's a, there's another one where he's in a mariachi suit and he's got a

43:27bunch of, and he's got a bunch of money.

43:29Pull up the, try and find a mariachi one.

43:31I posted that. I posted that on my page the other day.

43:35Uh, and, and he's got the gold AK next to it.

43:38no oh god it's so so good um i'll find it i'll try to put

43:45it in if i can find it yeah yeah yeah um you know see you

43:48know again you can't beat there you know at very least the trump administration has

43:55given us the best memes we've ever seen right of all time of all time

43:59of all time and and that leads me into my my next segment of of

44:05phenomenal uh um just a phenomenal sense of america which is what the u .s

44:14winter olympic performance right uh over in italy and this if you're not familiar this

44:21has been the greatest winner showing we've ever seen um that right there is the

44:29uh the winning goal of the u .s hockey team uh uh just absolutely phenomenal

44:37performance by uh all those young people so you know you see this guy hughes

44:44he scores the winning goal kind of the irony of it is that it was

44:48the same day february 26 as the 1980 uh gold medal the miracle on ice

44:55right uh you know and what the other crazy thing is this is only the

44:59third gold medal in hockey u .s men's hockey we've ever won it was to

45:03you know 2026 1980 and 1960 so we have not been a dominant force but

45:10i'll tell you what beaten uh uh canada was sure felt good everybody remembers in

45:15the world championships there was the brawl in the first five seconds that the thing

45:19started man nothing better than watching dudes kick the shit out of each other on

45:23the ice that's what makes hockey the funnest sport to watch right but to back

45:28it out right like the one thing that really kind of made me crazy is

45:32there's so many people that want to make hockey politics or i mean uh sports

45:37politics in particular particular u .s olympics you know my whole thing on that is

45:43you know give it a break take a breath man just let these kids let

45:49them compete where they want to compete who they want to compete for does it

45:53really chap your ass i mean i understand you get some young kid who gets

45:58on and they're asked a political question they're being prepped they're you know prompted they're

46:03being hit up by these reporters who want to get a soundbite and these poor

46:07kids they don't know what to answer and you know some kid answered about ice

46:11there's the girl who competed for china because one of her parents was from china

46:16you know and everybody's dogging her out makes her olympics shit and i just my

46:21whole thing is like man lay off these kids i mean it's ridiculous just let

46:25them go compete uh and and by the way what have you done in your

46:30life have you ever rogered up and put in the the hundred thousand hours of

46:35competition and training and all the sacrifice all the birthdays all the late nights the

46:42weekends you haven't had all the grind that you've put in to become a part

46:47of an elite uh an elite athlete that competes in the greatest thing there is

46:53in the world the u .s olympics if you haven't done that then shut the

46:56fuck up right i just i'm it drives me nuts it really drives me nuts

47:02we should be supporting these kids getting behind them if they want to go compete

47:06for italy or serbia or whatever man god bless them go support whatever country you

47:12want a lot of times it's the only way they can go and compete because

47:15it's so hyper competitive at the u .s level so you know take a breath

47:20relax get fired up about a cartel war iranian war or or something over here

47:26but leave these poor beautiful olympic athletes alone and just praise the fact that they

47:32have worked hard to represent it and by the way if you if you if

47:36you can't deal with the other stuff just just flip on right you know hey

47:41pull up that beautiful uh video where hughes says how proud he is to be

47:47an american how honored he is to represent america and then there's the most iconic

47:53photo of the whole thing he's draped in the flag and he's got his giant

47:58front tooth knocked out because he took a stick in the face earlier in the

48:03third period but you know what he didn't quit he kept coming back and playing

48:06you know let that sink in let that american pride hit you and sink in

48:12now there's also a lot of other pride you could feel too like i love

48:17watching the olympics right so the united states won a total of 33 medals 12

48:23gold 12 silver and nine bronze right making it the best ever gold medal hall

48:30in the winter game so i'm going to go through some of the gold medal

48:32because i want to give these young people props because god bless them and god

48:36bless america right so women's downhill gold breezy johnson women's solemn gold michaela schriffin all

48:48right bobsled women's mono bob gold elena myers taylor right cross country skiing no silver

48:58there silver there figure skating women's singles alissa lue gold team event amber blazer glenn

49:43This is also incredible. These girls are out there grinding away, you know, checking in

49:50the boards, getting hit, hitting in pads, and they're winning gold medals and making their

49:56parents proud, their travel teams proud, their college teams proud, the teams, their high school

50:04teams proud. Anybody who ever played with them proud, their communities proud, they're making America,

50:11their states proud, their cities proud.

50:14I mean, are you kidding me?

50:15This is absolutely like the thing that should bring us together all the time, all

50:22right? Last few, speed skating, men's 500 -meter, Jordan Stoltz, gold.

50:29Men's 1 ,000 -meter, Jordan Stoltz, gold.

50:33Hell, Jordan Stoltz won a silver in that, too, right?

50:36So, again, I just want to just say thank you so much to all the

50:43Olympians for giving me and my family such a wonderful sense of pride, such a

50:49wonderful sense of showmanship, of effort, hard work, and dreams, right?

50:57That's what you got to understand comes from these types of things.

51:01There are literally thousands or millions of kids all around the world that watch these

51:06athletes compete at the highest level performance and win gold, silver, bronze, or come in

51:16last place, but they still gave it their all, and that's going to inspire some

51:21young person out there, boys and girls, to get off their ass, put on their

51:27snowboard, put on their skates, put on their skis, whatever it might be, you know,

51:32and get out there and work their asses off and compete and become Olympic champions.

51:38That's what takes place when this happens.

51:41So, and all the other misery that I talked about before, let's take a breath.

51:46Beth, let's praise our Olympic athletes, and let's be proud that we're Americans.
