2:38We recently talked about the murder of Sheridan Gorman, the murder by an illegal alien

2:44in Chicago. We also talked about Katie Abraham.

2:48We had Katie's dad on the podcast.

2:50Katie was killed in Urbana, Illinois, by an illegal alien.

2:55The conversation that we had with her dad was just so powerful.

2:58He was so open with what happened and his pain, and it really made me

3:04start to get angry that more people are not understanding how irresponsible these policies are.

3:10And it's not just like, it's not that we're not understanding.

3:13It goes to the next level where you still have Democrats pushing to allow these

3:19kinds of crimes, to allow people into the country.

3:22And I wanted to have a conversation with Kyle Olson about this.

3:26Kyle Olson with the Midwesterner.

3:27He's here with me today.

3:29I know you brought some things that he comes in and he sits down and

3:33he's like, no, you're not going to believe what's actually happening in other states.

3:37So thank you for joining me today.

3:39I know you have some interesting information to share with us about this.

3:44And honestly, the reason I wanted to get into this is we had the Sheridan

3:50Gorman murder, and then we had Katie Abraham's father, Joe, on the podcast.

3:56And it made me so mad.

3:58I was talking to you about, why aren't we more active about this?

4:01Why aren't we talking about this more?

4:02And I think in 2016, it was really the first time we started to hear

4:07about this on a higher level because President Trump was saying, we've got to have

4:12the border closed. And that was a moment where Democrats, I think, leaned into an

4:18open border because they were desperate for an alternative message to Trump, don't you think?

4:23Yeah. And I think Trump, he sort of took the issue head on and he

4:28was calling it the way it was.

4:30And he was meeting with angel families.

4:33And I think he was very different than, I mean, you contrast him with the

4:38previous Republican president, George W.

4:41Bush. And I mean, there was, you know, it was just two very different messages.

4:47And so I think now that he is back in office, we were able to

4:53contrast what we saw in the Biden administration with, you know, all of the unaccompanied,

4:59the 448 ,000 unaccompanied minors that came across the border.

5:05And, and then, you know, we, and then look at what's, what the Trump administration

5:08has been doing and the way that some of these blue states have been fighting

5:12him. And I think there's this, this ease that people are feeling right now.

5:16Okay. The border is closed.

5:17We're stopping this. It's not continuing to happen, but the border being open to your.

5:21And I think there's this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this,

5:21this, for all of those years with Joe Biden, now we're actually seeing, I think

5:27we're seeing the crime stack up.

5:28So after we were talking about Sheridan and I was just stunned by that story.

5:33Here's a young 18 -year -old girl at college just taking a walk with friends.

5:37She gets shot and killed.

5:39And then the media comes out and kind of defends this guy like, oh, well,

5:44you know, he was shot in the head a few years back and he has

5:46the mentality of a seven -year -old.

5:48How could you defend this?

5:50And the Chicago electeds, like the governor or the mayor have been horrendous.

5:56So I started to look and say, what other crimes are being committed right now?

6:00And if you just Google migrant crimes or migrant arrests, it is extreme.

6:07So I wanted to talk about it from that standpoint because I think we've had

6:10in just the last week, I think we're gonna go through at least seven of

6:13these, but also because we're all traveling right now.

6:16It's spring break and you're gonna go to a different city, most of you are

6:20gonna take your kids to a different city than you're used to.

6:23And I think it's important for you to understand where you are and how you

6:27need to think about those surroundings differently.

6:30Just last week in Seattle, I don't know if you saw this or not, there

6:34was a man who was almost killed.

6:37A man, and we don't know, this guy is not necessarily illegal, but this is

6:42just an example of the soft on crimes.

6:44It's not just that you have illegal migrants in the country who are committing crimes,

6:49many of them. But it's also a situation where you have people that have been

6:53let out because of soft on crime policies.

6:56And this guy, Alisio Melendez, he shoved a man that was waiting for the train

7:02in Seattle. You can see here, I mean, this is pretty scary.

7:05This guy just narrowly lives.

7:07He just narrowly makes it.

7:09And I mean, this guy tries, Melendez tries to shove him a couple of times.

7:13Now, the kicker to this story, I saw this on social media and I was

7:17like, that's genuinely terrifying. And I sent it to Kyle.

7:21Kyle was like, I'm not watching this because you assumed that - Yeah, it's the

7:24worst. Yeah, because I mean, honestly, if that had been me, I wouldn't have been

7:29ready for that. That's what I'm saying.

7:30If you're traveling, be aware that this is happening in blue cities because these people

7:35have been let out because this Melendez guy, he had actually been charged in 2019

7:40with stabbing his sister in the stomach.

7:43Okay, so stabbing his sister in the stomach, the guy is obviously willing to do

7:48anything. In 2021, in Seattle, they declared him not competent to stand trial.

7:56So they send him to a hospital that I guess is supposed to be able

8:00to take these criminal mental health people, like Western State Hospital.

8:08Okay, so the criminally insane.

8:09I don't know if we're allowed to still call him that, but that's what he

8:12is. But this is the crazy part.

8:14I was like trying to search up what's going on with this guy, right?

8:18And I find this Reddit thread, and I'm not like a huge fan of Reddit,

8:21but it's where people just go and they tell their own comments and they add

8:25their own flavor to things.

8:27Well, this person caught my eye because it said, here's the quote.

8:30I usually don't comment on these types of posts, but I have to put my

8:34two cents in. I worked at Cascade Hall, and Alisio, this guy, was my client.

8:40Cascade Hall was terrible, which is why I left.

8:43Many of the residents there came from Western State after DSHS felt they were restored

8:48from their civil commitment. I remember one resident who killed her mother and was found

8:53not guilty by reason of insanity.

8:55They tried to do a competency restoration three times before they did a civil commitment.

9:00Then DSHS sent her to us.

9:03The day she showed up, she attacked another resident.

9:06The police showed up, but didn't do anything.

9:09At Cascade Hall, there's no structure or much oversight.

9:12Remember, this is where this guy was.

9:15Then she goes on to say, I tried doing groups, but kept being told I

9:19needed to focus on documentation.

9:20Basically, the residents had free will to come and go as they please.

9:25At times, it felt like a drug market with constant smells of fentanyl and some

9:29overdoses with no requirement of getting substance abuse treatment.

9:33This is where this guy was.

9:35This is not taking care of crime.

9:38This is soft on crime policies.

9:39Of course, and there needs to be, I mean, I think everyone has sympathy and

9:45compassion for people that have these issues, but there needs to be protection for the

9:51rest of society. And you should be able to go and commute on a train

9:56and stand and mind your own business, listening to music or whatever he was doing,

10:00and not feel like he's going to die.

10:04I mean, that sort of thing, that should never, ever happen, regardless of what his

10:09immigration status is. That should never, ever happen.

10:12Well, so that was this past week.

10:14This past week also in New York City, you may have heard about the U

10:18.S. Air Force veteran who was a Vietnam vet in his 80s.

10:23He, same thing, he was pushed onto the subway tracks by a Honduran national.

10:28This guy was an illegal immigrant in New York City.

10:33His granddaughter came out and spoke about him, and this is heartbreaking.

10:37This is what she had to say.

10:38Our family is devastated. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and

10:44a kind, generous man whose life was centered around those he loved.

10:48The loss we feel is a measure of...

10:49and the circumstances surrounding his passing have made his grief even more difficult to bear.

10:55We understand that charges have been brought and we respect the legal process.

10:59At the same time, no legal proceeding can restore the life that was taken or

11:04the future that has been lost to our family.

11:07It is our sincere hope that awareness and meaningful action can help us prevent other

11:11families from experiencing a similar loss.

11:13We ask for privacy as we mourn.

11:16We are deeply grateful for the compassion and support we have received.

11:20He will be remembered for his warmth, his integrity, and the deep love he gave

11:24so freely. We will carry him with us always.

11:27How many times do we have to have these families come out and say this?

11:30And the way this guy is a Vietnam vet, he's fought wars, he came back

11:34from a war, and in his 80s, he gets shoved onto the subway track.

11:39He fell face first and he died from a brain bleed.

11:45I mean, again, these things, they never should be happening because when you have criminal

11:51illegal aliens or just illegal aliens in the country, these, they don't, they should not

11:57be in the country and these things should not be happening, which is why the

12:02Trump administration is taking deportation so seriously.

12:06And we have been seeing hundreds of thousands of criminal illegal aliens being deported.

12:12And but I think a lot of people are saying that is good.

12:16We need more because these sorts of crimes are completely preventable because the people doing

12:22them should not be in the country.

12:24But we struggle with Democrats and and people say, oh, this is not political.

12:29I want to go back to when we had Joe Abraham on after the podcast,

12:33he said to me, so many people tell me you're just making your daughter's death

12:37political. And he says, look, I'm not making it political.

12:41It was a choice by politicians to get here, the choice of politicians to continue

12:46pushing this. And his point was, you know, the next family, the Gormans, they're going

12:51to be dealing with this, too.

12:52And then you bring something to me from Brandon Johnson just over this past weekend.

12:56Right. So after that story, of course, there were the the No Kings protests this

13:02past Tuesday. Yes. So there was no the No Kings protests this past weekend where

13:07they're attacking ICE and attacking the Trump administration and everything.

13:11And in the context of all of that, Brandon Johnson, the mayor of the very

13:17unpopular mayor of Chicago, he said on MSNBC, we have to end the assaults against

13:22immigrants. We have signed multiple executive orders to force ICE out of the city of

13:28Chicago. So as these sorts of attacks are happening in Seattle, in Chicago, in New

13:36York City, et cetera, these mayors and governor, blue mayors and governors are doubling down.

13:43So just slightly over a week after one of the people that came to his

13:48city to learn, to go to Loyola University, just almost one week after that, he

13:54says he wants to protect the people from ICE, the people that are coming here.

13:58This is a woman who was killed by an illegal immigrant.

14:01And he he just continues to push.

14:04This is what they do.

14:06DHS is slamming California right now because they are their sanctuary county.

14:11Two Honduran nationals who were protected came into that county.

14:17This is to me, this is totally bizarre.

14:19It's two guys. The one guy is the father of this woman's five -year -old

14:26son. So two men come, they kill this young woman in her 30s.

14:31She has a five -year -old with one of the guys.

14:34She gets killed. These two guys were previously arrested.

14:39The father was arrested in 2018 for battery and false imprisonment, false imprisonment.

14:46And then in 2019 for domestic battery and threatening crime with the intent of terrorizing.

14:53Two things that you would think if you're an illegal, you would be out of

14:57the country. California didn't notify ICE, didn't notify ICE at all.

15:03He sees releases these guys back into the state in 2018, 2019.

15:08He kills the mother of his child.

15:11I mean, this is like, this is so twisted.

15:14This is not, this is not like random.

15:17This is not a, some sort of a gang battle.

15:20You kill the mother of your own child?

15:22What an animal. So then the state of California, instead of notifying ICE to remove

15:29the individual from the country so he cannot harm anyone else, they just, no, they

15:36just release him and to do more damage.

15:41This is, when we say this is political, when we say it matters who you

15:46vote for, and this is another reason that I wanted to do this podcast.

15:49I know I've been focused a lot on this, but you guys need to realize

15:52there are major elections coming up, and these people are proving who they are.

15:58Spamburger just signed all, in Virginia, just signed all these bills saying that she's going

16:04to keep ICE out. You're telling me.

16:05Yeah, and so there's a story on deported .news, which you should look at if

16:11you want to learn about deportations and some of the people being removed from, from

16:15the country, but there's a story.

16:17On deported .news, blue state governors continue crusade to protect illegal immigrants, ignore victims of

16:23crime. And so as these crimes are happening across the country, you would think a

16:31lot of states would be saying, we need to take this more seriously.

16:34But New Jersey, their newly elected governor, Democrat governor, Mikey Sherrill, has rolled out the

16:41welcome mat to criminal illegal aliens, declaring the entire state of New Jersey a sanctuary

16:46state. Sherrill signed a three -bill package last week that imposes sweeping restrictions on police

16:53interaction with federal immigration authorities, which, of course, means, like we just talked about in

16:58California, New Jersey police will not contact ICE when there's a criminal illegal alien.

17:05And then a separate law bans officers, including federal agents, from concealing their identity with

17:11masks. So federal agents, ICE officers, et cetera, can now be doxed in the state

17:19of New Jersey. And I saw something else this week where I think I sent

17:22it to you. It was an ICE agent in Hawaii.

17:26And honestly, I saw this.

17:28It was insane. And I'm thinking, if you're in Hawaii, why are you not a

17:32happy person? How did Hawaii become a place where you beat the crap out of

17:35people? But these people that were on the side of the road and he had

17:38ICE on and he wasn't wearing a mask.

17:41He just had his ICE vest on and, you know, his outfit.

17:44And they beat him unconscious.

17:46I mean, this is this is also they've created a not only a safe environment

17:52for the bad guys and protection for the bad guys.

17:55They've created an unsafe environment for law enforcement and the rest of us because of

18:00law enforcement is getting knocked out by a mob.

18:02And I'm telling you, this is not unique to these areas.

18:06We went to the University of Michigan this week.

18:08My daughter had an appointment there and she's pointing out to me.

18:11My 16 year old daughter is pointing out to me all of the posters that

18:15say F ICE all over the campus.

18:19She says to me, Mom, did you see the students actually have pins on their

18:24shirts that say F ICE?

18:26These are 20, 19, 18 year old kids.

18:30They have no idea that their own 18 year old, just like them, just a

18:39few hours away in Chicago, got shot by someone who should have been taken out

18:44by ICE. I mean, this is what's blowing my mind is these young people are

18:49being convinced that ICE is bad.

18:51And and the crazy part to me is there there were all these conversations about

18:56Minnesota. And the president immediately said, we're going to make changes there.

19:01OK, we don't this didn't go the way I wanted it to go.

19:05This is the community doesn't like it.

19:07We're going to make changes.

19:08Most presidents don't do that.

19:10Biden wouldn't even do anything to close the border.

19:12That's why we're dealing with this.

19:14Correct. Yeah. So many of these individuals went through the process where they are attempting

19:20to claim asylum or they they want protection at the border.

19:26So then the Biden administration was just processing them and then which they were using

19:31this app. And then they would be assigned a court date where they would have

19:36to voluntarily show up. But a lot of the court dates were years later.

19:40Yeah. And so they were they were processed at the border and then just turned

19:44loose. And what happened after that?

19:46Who knows? And so the amount of criminal illegal aliens that the Trump administration is

19:52now cleaning up and the mess that they're cleaning up, that the Trump that the

19:56Biden administration created is just astounding.

19:59Astounding. And there's this. So this app was also set up so that you could

20:02just like you didn't have to report anywhere.

20:04You could just remotely do this.

20:06So then you think about what else this is bringing in, because we've talked about

20:10trafficking and drugs and crime, all of those things.

20:14But what you may not be thinking about is that the man who killed Sheridan

20:19Gorman had tuberculosis, something we don't deal with.

20:24But he's out there on the streets of Chicago with tuberculosis.

20:29The man who killed Joe Abraham's daughter, Katie, he had untreated HIV.

20:35And Joe made the point, he's like, now this guy gets to be taken care

20:42of in an American prison.

20:43Our taxpayer dollars will go to treat his HIV, which was untreated beforehand.

20:48He didn't come in here and have a medical test.

20:51An app can't do a medical test on you.

20:53So you have all these people coming in with all of these diseases and Democrats

20:58are going, oh, everybody's getting sick because, you know, the people on the right don't

21:02want to vaccinate anymore. We haven't we haven't dealt with tuberculosis in decades.

21:07Right. And how many stories have we seen like that?

21:10And I read these stories and I go, why is this happening?

21:13Like, why do we see this outbreak of, you know, a disease that we don't

21:17ever hear about? And and I and I think the narrative that we sort of

21:21see in the media is, well, it's because vaccination rates are down because parents don't

21:27want to vaccinate their children.

21:28So they're blaming parents of school children who don't want to vaccinate their children.

21:36And but I'm reading this, I'm going, is it possible that.

21:41Immigrants or illegal illegal aliens are coming into the country.

21:44Immigrants or illegal aliens are coming into the country?

21:45who are not vaccinated could potentially be spreading this.

21:48And not tested. And think about that, how bananas it is that when the Biden

21:53administration was telling you, you couldn't go into a restaurant in New York City and

21:57have dinner, they were opening the door to anybody who wanted to walk into the

22:01country, not vaccinated for COVID and not vaccinated for anything else.

22:06I mean, this story, just it happens over and over and over again.

22:11You've got the Texas illegal robbery gang, Colombian crime ring going through Houston.

22:17I mean, I'm telling you guys, as you look at this, as you start to

22:21research what's going on, you start to see time and time again, there is crime.

22:27And I'm telling you, all this stuff happened in a week.

22:29The five guys in Texas raiding houses, holding a minor at gunpoint, the men that

22:36killed the mother of the child, the person who killed Sheridan, the man who was

22:43thrown in front of the train, all of these things happened in a week.

22:47You know why? You're not also, you're also not hearing about this stuff.

22:51You're not hearing about it because it's not good for the Democrats.

22:54It didn't used to be this way.

22:55The reason this is happening is because so many people were led into this country

23:00and we don't know who they are.

23:02But let's flip the script a little bit.

26:44Let's talk about the other side of this, that the Democrats still don't want to

26:48talk about. Because they not only have an immigrant problem, they have a soft on

26:53crime problem. So when we flip this script and we say, what about when an

26:58immigrant gets killed? What about when someone gets brutally murdered on a train in North

27:04Carolina? Like Irina Zarutska. Remember when she was killed and it was brutal and we

27:09all watched it? She was sitting there with her headphones on.

27:12No idea. idea and the guy kills her from behind.

27:15Well, guess what? There was an artist in Portland, Rhode Island, or in Providence, Rhode

27:23Island, who decided to put up a mural.

27:26And the interesting part is that Elon Musk put money into this mural to put

27:31it up. It is so nice.

27:34I mean, it really was, it's really a piece of art, but it's not done.

27:38And the people of Rhode Island just went crazy and said, this is unacceptable.

27:44This does not mirror our values.

27:47And it is political and it's unacceptable to talk about something that's political.

27:51And he said, this is a right -wing thing.

27:54This is state rep David Morales talking about how this does not align with the

27:58values. What are your thoughts on the mural?

28:00So I find it disheartening that we are seeing a right -wing movement that is

28:04exploiting the death of a refugee for the purposes of trying to spread division, trying

28:08to spread division and fear -mongering rhetoric about the dangers that might exist in certain

28:12cities. And the fact that now Providence is being targeted in of itself is just

28:16so disappointing to see. Do you feel the death, the tragedy itself is political?

28:21I think the death and the tragedy in terms of the way that it's being

28:24exploited to the community has turned political.

28:27Ultimately, what we saw was a situation where a young woman had her life taken

28:31away. But the fact that we're watching right -wing special interest groups being funded by

28:36Elon Musk trying to elevate this as a political issue where community members are expected

28:42to feel unsafe in their cities and in their communities is just wrong.

28:45Would you feel differently if Elon didn't have money behind this project?

28:49I would feel differently if again, the message was one centered around a having consent

28:54from the actual family. And then two, being very clear as to what the actual

28:59mission of having the murals installed are.

29:01What we've seen instead is the targeting of certain municipalities for the purposes of trying

29:06to make communities feel less safe.

29:08So this guy, he also went on to say that he doesn't feel that it

29:13mirrors their values. This, I think Providence was one of the main places where they

29:20had all the BLM riots and they had, you know, statues and murals of George

29:24Floyd. And we remember those murals going up all across the country.

29:29But this wasn't political. There was not any, he wasn't painting anything political along with

29:35it. He was honoring a beautiful young woman who was an immigrant from Ukraine.

29:41I mean, that's the most bizarre part about this.

29:44You cannot make this up.

29:46If you watch this, you cannot possibly stand with the Democrats about this.

29:51And then it got taken down or it will because the mayor, Brett Smiley, doesn't

29:57sound like a smiley guy to me.

29:59That's his name though. Now he got it.

30:01Must have different type of, like the original family must've been a little smilier.

30:05He's, he says that this mural has to come down.

30:10He's confirmed on Sunday, smiley, non -smile, we're going to call him non -smiley, confirmed

30:15that he wants this taken down and said, the murder of the individual depicted in

30:21this mural was a devastating tragedy.

30:23But the misguided, isolating intent of those funding murals like this one across the country

30:29is I continue to encourage our community to support local artists who work to bring

30:36us closer together rather than divide us.

30:39And sure enough, the artists put up a post saying that the artwork will be

30:44removed. I just find this ridiculous that anybody, after everything they did with George Floyd,

30:51that they would say this is divisive.

30:54Yeah. Well, and the mayor there couldn't even say, couldn't even bring himself to say

30:58her name. Right. Right. No, that was a state rep.

31:01That was a state rep.

31:02He can't. Whoever. No. I'm not going to say his name about that.

31:06No. Well, the mayor has a stupid name because it doesn't fit his personality.

31:11And he's unsmiling. He's a grouch.

31:14He's a grouch. In all honesty, like, I mean, I could go on and on

31:18because we had three other, three other murders in Virginia.

31:22We'll just pop that up really quick so you can see because it's just ongoing.

31:26In contrast to them refusing to celebrate Irina's life, look at these guys.

31:33You've got Abdul who stabbed a woman at the bus stop, killed her.

31:38You've got Gomez who beat his own three month old baby to death.

31:43These poor children that are born to these men who are killing their mothers or

31:47killing them. And then you've got this last guy, Annabelle Armando Chavaria Moy, who is

31:55he hacks a man to death with a machete.

31:59I mean, I feel like I watch this.

32:01This is happening in Fairfax County.

32:03I feel like I hear these things.

32:05And I think this is the kind of stuff that happens in London now.

32:08Now it's coming to the United States.

32:10This is why this stuff is serious.

32:11And DHS is fighting it because the local news describes this Gomez character who kills

32:17his own child as a Virginia dad.

32:19Which is and it's so bizarre because how many federal bureaucrats live in Fairfax County

32:26and they tolerate living like this?

32:29Yeah, I know. I know.

32:30It's baffling. It is. But that's why I really feel like it's so important that

36:23was horrifying to me. This illegal immigrant, trans illegal immigrant, admitted Tuesday to molesting a

36:3114 -year -old boy in the bathroom of a Manhattan bodega last year.

36:36This is a person who had been arrested multiple times.

36:40This is the transgender migrant person who comes into this country, 31 years old, was

36:46arrested for prostitution, for robbery, for all of these things, should have been put away,

36:52should have been deported. But this guy goes on to rape a kid, rape a

36:58kid and serve only six months after raping a teenage boy.

37:02They will serve just a sentence of just six months.

37:06How do you like that?

37:07I hope the new Homeland Security Secretary gets more serious about amplifying these sorts of

37:14stories and to explain why they are doing these deportation or these immigration raids and

37:24all of that sort of thing.

37:28Because it is happening. It's happening everywhere.

37:31It should not be happening.

37:33And they need to be getting these people out of the country.
