0:21We are joined by Congresswoman out of the great state of New York, Elise Stefanik.
0:26She also has a new book out, Poisoned Ivies, the inside account of the academic
0:32and moral rock at America's elite universities.
0:36Just came out yesterday. Congresswoman, great to have you.
0:38Thanks for being here. Great to be with you guys.
0:42I've been looking forward to this.
0:44Thank you. Yeah. You know, I am a New Yorker, I think forever because I
0:48lived there for so many years, born and raised.
0:50And so I'm always caught between loving the Empire State and particularly New York City
0:55and also watching from afar as it's turned into such a mess.
1:00So with that in mind, we're going to get to your book in just a
1:02second. But we were just talking about Mamdani's grocery store in New York and how
1:09this is just emblematic of another bad idea that's going to cost money, not help
1:14people who could use some financial relief.
1:17Does he really not know that this is going to be a mess?
1:20How is Kathy Hochul so incompetent?
1:22I have a lot of questions, Congresswoman.
1:25We have a lot to cover because the rot is so deep in New York
1:28when you have a state that single party Democrat rule and the Socialist Party has
1:32hijacked today's Democrat Party in New York and frankly, nationwide today on tax day as
1:39Americans are filing their taxes and particularly in a high tax state like New York.
1:43What is Kathy Hochul do?
1:44She breaks her promise and says, oh, she's going to raise taxes higher, further forcing
1:49people to run away from New York, further forcing businesses out.
1:53And this is because she is beholden to the Socialists.
1:56On top of that, you have Mamdani, who is celebrating his first 100 days where
2:02he couldn't shovel snow off the streets, where he has been embroiled in huge political
2:06fights with the New York City Council, which is controlled by Democrats.
2:10And he put forth this grocery store plan that's going to cost the taxpayers $30
2:15million. But the kicker is they're not going to open till 2029, which highlights this
2:20socialist insanity. You know, if we were to rely on government grocery stores, there would
2:26be hunger lines out the door.
2:28It is a total abuse of taxpayer dollars.
2:31And frankly, thank goodness for the free market in New York state that we have
2:35had that built up the city of New York that is crumbling under failed socialist
2:39leadership. We're talking to Elise Stefanik, you certainly saw and heard when Kathy Hochul told
2:46former New Yorkers like Buck just moved to Florida, then the tax return.
2:51So I did. I couldn't disobey Kathy.
2:53I said, fine, Kathy, I'm out.
2:55So the tax returns have collapsed as many people, Buck, Sean Hannity, even just in
3:01this radio world, have decided to go from New York to Florida.
3:05And now she's begging Floridians to come back to New York.
3:09Meanwhile, they're talking about added taxes on second homes.
3:13I believe it is correct that the budget for the city of New York is
3:18bigger than the entire budget for all of Florida.
3:21How much of this is just complete mismanagement?
3:23And how much is pushing out the people who actually pay the taxes blowing up
3:28in the face of Democrats like Mom, Donnie and Hochul?
3:32It is total mismanagement. And this is what happens when you have single party rule.
3:36Democrats in the state of New York control the state Senate, control the assembly, control
3:41the governor's office, as well as New York City.
3:43And it's not just a Democrat in New York City.
3:45It's a socialist, as we know, in Mom, Donnie.
3:48And, you know, Kathy Hochul and other Democrats have liked to say, oh, it's because
3:52of the weather. That's nonsense.
3:54It's because of the policies.
3:55And she encouraged people to leave this great state of New York.
3:59And of course, now they're begging them to come back.
4:01But newsflash, they're not coming back.
4:02It's going to be higher and higher taxes under single party Democrat rule.
4:07I've been proud to be the leading Republican fighting against this.
4:11And frankly, in this tax bill and people can quibble about this, but I represent
4:14New Yorkers. I raised that state and local tax deduction, which for a high tax
4:18state like New York, I needed to deliver a tax cut for my constituents.
4:22And I did. And that's something that the Democrats never will even consider.
4:26They're never going to consider cutting taxes.
4:28And if you look at Florida, a higher population, the entire the budget of Medicaid
4:33in New York state is more than the entire budget of Florida.
4:37It is totally mismanaged and a disaster.
4:40It's unbelievable. All right. We're talking to Congresswoman Elise Stefanik from New York.
4:44I still love you, New York, but you have to stop being insane.
4:47But there are many New Yorkers who feel the same way, Congresswoman, who are listening
4:50right now, and they're sticking it out.
4:52So I respect that. And you're one of them.
4:54You still have to live there, too.
4:56So you got a book, though.
4:58Let's talk about your book for a second.
4:59Poisoned Ivies, the inside account of the academic and moral rot at America's elite universities.
5:04Poisoned Ivies, for short. You guys can go get on an Amazon.
5:07Yeah, my brother went to an Ivy League school.
5:10I went to work for Glenn Beck instead of going to an Ivy League school
5:13for an NBA. There's been a lot of lunacy on display.
5:17What are you getting into here in the book?
5:18Is this mostly about all the Hamas lovers running wild in the quadrangles?
5:24What's happened? here. So as you remember, yes, the book is Poisoned Ivies.
5:28This was about the university president's hearing where you had the presidents of Penn, MIT
5:32and Harvard. It became the most viewed testimony in the history of Congress, more than
5:36Watergate, more than any other congressional hearing.
5:38And that was when I asked them a direct question.
5:41Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate your university's code of conduct?
5:44And they essentially equivocated and said it depends on the context.
5:48This was, of course, after the Hamas attacks against Israel on October 7th, as we
5:53saw universities in the U .S., particularly the Ivy League, be engulfed with anti -Semitism.
5:58But it's not just about anti -Semitism.
6:00This is a much broader moral and academic rot.
6:03If you look at the radical professors at these schools, if you look at the
6:08foreign dollars flowing to these schools, the percentage of increases of foreign students, for example,
6:14at Columbia, 40 percent of students at Columbia are foreign students.
6:18And that includes literally students who publicly chant not just death to Israel, but death
6:24to America and are affiliated with Hamas terrorist organizations.
6:28So the book goes into all of that.
6:30It's a behind the scenes look at the hearing.
6:32It's already the number one bestseller in nonfiction on Amazon nationwide because people care about
6:37care about education because it's about educating our next generation of leaders.
6:41And I'll tell you, the next generation of leaders aren't going to come from these
6:44schools. It not only highlights the bad actors, but the good actors.
6:48And I know one of you will be very proud that Vanderbilt is highlighted as
6:52a positive example. And people are voting with their feet in their wallets.
6:55I was just going to say this because I think it's such an interesting example.
7:02I went to Vanderbilt and met my wife there.
7:06We love the school. But they had a protest after October 7th.
7:11Kids on campus tried to take over the main Kirkland Hall there.
7:15The chancellor, Daniel Diermeier, walked in.
7:18He said, uh -uh. He called in the Metro Nashville police.
7:21They arrested all of the protesters immediately.
7:25And they kicked the students out of school, Buck.
7:28They didn't allow them to finish the semester.
7:30They were done. And something interesting has happened.
7:33I was talking with some of the top Vanderbilt administrators recently.
7:37I don't know if you know this, Elise, but they said that their yield, that
7:44is the kids that get invited to come to Vanderbilt, get admitted, get an admissions
7:50offer, they have a higher yield now than Columbia University.
7:55So Vanderbilt, I'm not an Ivy League.
7:57Yeah, they now get. So if you have a kid and they get admitted to
8:00Columbia and you have a kid, they get admitted to Vanderbilt.
8:03The kid that gets admitted to Vanderbilt is more likely to go to Vanderbilt than
8:07the kid that gets admitted to Columbia.
8:09And I asked, I said, how's this happening?
8:11They said, our applications from New York City, L .A.
8:16and Chicago skyrocketed after all of the protests on the Ivy League campuses.
8:21So there are real significant consequences that you are writing about that are potentially remaking
8:28where the most elite, talented kids in the country decide to go to school.
8:33Absolutely. And to add further information on that, it is now more competitive to get
8:40into Vanderbilt than some of the Ivy League schools.
8:42So not only are they highlighting the matriculation rates, so those that accept if they
8:46get into both schools, but the applications, as you point out, have skyrocketed.
8:51People are voting with their feats in their wallets.
8:54Parents are rightly scrutinizing it.
8:56Because when you think about it, and I'm a parent, my son is only four,
8:59but we think a lot about his educational journey in the years to come.
9:02I don't want him to go to college for political indoctrination.
9:06It should be about academic excellence and connections to good paying jobs after they graduate.
9:12So the book not only talks about the institutions that are rotten, but it highlights
9:17places like Vanderbilt. One other example is Dartmouth, the sole Ivy that actually enforced the
9:23rules, very similar to how Vanderbilt did.
9:25I highlight innovative schools like University at Austin.
9:28But it's a broader, really, indictment of these, what used to be elite schools.
9:33And what's really sad about it, I myself graduated from one of them.
9:36A lot of those schools, the Harvards, the Penns, the Columbias, predated the founding of
9:41our country, are older than 250 years, and were part of the fabric initially of
9:45our American Revolutionary War principles.
9:48It has fallen so far to the radical left, and it's deeply out of touch
9:53with everyday Americans. You mentioned your son.
9:57I actually met him in the elevator along with your husband at the Republican National
10:01Convention a couple of years ago.
10:03So hello to your husband.
10:04I'm presuming your son's not a listener yet, but your husband said he was.
10:08But you mentioned something there that I thought was super interesting about your own kid.
10:14A lot of times people would aspire, when I was a kid, when Buck was
10:17a kid, hey, you can go to Harvard one day if you just work really
10:20hard. And that was an aspiration in the 80s and 90s for a lot of
10:25people. Is that changing in your mind?
10:27And how do they fix it if it is not the same kind?
10:31I think there's a lot of people out there that listen to us that would
10:33have said, hey, in 1988, my kid went to Harvard.
10:36It would have been the greatest thing I could have ever thought of.
10:38By 2026, I don't know that the same desire is there.
10:42How do they fix it?
10:44Well, it's a good question.
10:45I mean, my family, it was an extraordinary achievement.
10:49I'm the first member of my immediate family to have the opportunity to graduate from
10:52college. I was very proud to get admitted to Harvard.
10:55I had a great experience there 20 years ago.
10:57Of course, it was left -leaning, but it was not like it is today in
11:00terms of the absolute bending of the knee to this anti -Americanism and just the
11:05failure of strong leadership and a lack of focus on academic excellence.
11:09These schools are not going to fix themselves.
11:11What I realized after the hearing was, despite all of the public pressure, despite donors
11:16withholding their funds, despite these shifts in matriculation rates, they still don't get it.
11:21They are digging deeper and deeper.
11:22That's why the executive actions by the Trump administration that we have worked very closely
11:26with and the legislative actions and the leverage of taxpayer dollars, that's the only way
11:31to make them listen, coupled with the DOJ lawsuits.
11:35Those are all incredibly important.
11:37It needs to be multifaceted because they are not going to fix themselves.
11:40The schools that are smart are innovating and outgrowing like Vanderbilt and others who are
11:46understanding this is a huge opportunity and an earthquake broadly in higher education.
11:50I just want to say, Congresswoman, you said your boy, I believe, is four.
11:54Mine is one, and I've already enrolled him for Florida prepay down here, so I'm
11:59already taking the steps. You have to get into the University of Florida, too, by
12:04the way. State schools in the South, Elise, are skyrocketing since what happened post -October
12:107. UF, which my wife is an alumna of University of Florida.
12:15I think got over 100 ,000 applications this year, Congresswoman, which is...
12:19Oh, yeah, and UF is highlighted.
12:22Oh, you did in the book, yeah.
12:24It is highlighted as one of the positives.
12:26Again, most of the chapters are the deep dives on the rotten ivies, but I
12:30thought it was important to end on a positive note that schools that are doing
12:34it right, and University of Florida is one of them, and particularly at the time
12:39when you saw these pro -Hamas encampments, Ben Sasse was head of the University of
12:43Florida system, and he took, very similar to Deermeyer, at Vanderbilt, they enforced the rules
12:49immediately, and they correctly focused on the academics instead of allowing this political indoctrination, and
12:56frankly, it was criminal activity.
12:58That's why this DOJ lawsuit is so important to hold these schools accountable when they
13:03are not protecting civil rights of American Jewish students, and I myself am not Jewish.
13:08I am Catholic. I just...
13:10It was so unrecognizable to me, and we had heard from so many students these
13:15horrific stories that it was important to lead in Congress, and I think we did
13:20that in the hearing heard around the world.
13:22Well, Congresswoman, we'll have to have you back because you can answer the question.
13:25Brown University, is it really a school or is it just a commune with drum
13:30circles? But that will be for next time.
13:32The book is Poisoned Ivies.
13:34Go get your copy today.
13:36It's number one on Amazon, doing phenomenally.
13:39Congresswoman, thank you for all your work.
13:40Congrats on the book, and we'll talk to you soon.
13:43Thank you so much. There was a time when owning gold was reserved for the

15:54updated with what was just said there.
15:56Caroline Levitt says more than 53 million filers have claimed at least one of Trump's
16:03tax cuts. Average refund this year, more than $3 ,400.
16:07Here is cut 25. With tax day officially here, the numbers prove these tax cuts
16:13have been nothing short of extraordinary.
16:16More than 53 million filers claimed at least one.
16:20of president trump's signature new tax cuts the average refund this filing season is more
16:25than thirty four hundred dollars the trump administration has issued more refunds in larger refunds
16:32than in any year of the history of our country and i will allow secretary
16:37beset to break down the numbers in greater detail president trump and republicans in congress
16:42have always believed that the american people know how to spend their money better than
16:46the government does but what the american people must not forget is that every single
16:51democrat in congress voted against these tax refunds uh also then treasury secretary scott beset
16:59talking about the great tax season cut 26 it has been a fantastic tax season
17:04it has gone smoothly it has gone efficiently from the point of view of the
17:09irs but most importantly it's been a great tax season for the american people thanks
17:14to promises made promises kept the through the working families tax cuts the president has

19:28news stock market hits an all -time high price of oil and gas has stabilized
19:34backing up a decent amount in the past several days uh we've already talked to
19:40cash patel and elise stefanik as always encourage you to download the podcast make sure
19:45you don't miss a single moment of the program uh no matter where you may
19:51be uh and there is still a lot of news out there and one of
19:57the things that people are most concerned about is the price of oil and gas
20:01uh as it is up to around four dollars and ten cents a gallon on
20:06average compared to where it was and uh we'll get to some of your calls
20:11here in a moment but i did want to address that peter ducey of fox
20:15news asked scott besant directly about that when are we going to get back to
20:19three dollar a gallon gas cut 27 when are we really going to get three
20:24dollar a gallon gas well i think that's going to be the uh up to
20:29how the negotiations go president trump said this morning that he thinks we're nearing the
20:35end uh the u .s kept their side on the ceasefire we've stopped firing the
20:41straits or vermouth have not been completely reopened so we will see and i'm optimistic
20:48that during the summer we will see gas with a three in front of it
20:52sooner rather than later so not by summer like memorial day but maybe by labor
20:57day again i i'm optimistic that sometime between june 20th and september 20th that we
21:05can have three dollar gas again okay so that is a little bit of a
21:09prediction usually gas prices go up in the summer starting with memorial day traveling season
21:15uh but as we have said on this program i am confident that gas prices
21:20will be back down very shortly um and uh that is scott besant answering that
21:26question directly uh jim in montana tax day you say uh not a bad tax
21:31day for you uh appreciate the call let us know absolutely can you hear me
21:36yeah we got you so yeah probably the last uh 12 to 15 years i've
21:42paid into the federal government probably two to four thousand dollars every year this is
21:47the first year and that amount of time that i'm finally getting a refund from
21:52the federal government which kind of shocked me so you got back how much uh
21:57right around 4 000 well congrats thanks for calling in uh the caroline levitt said
22:02the average refund is right around 3 400 so you did a little bit better
22:06uh than uh than expected so yes look thank you for the call i do
22:11think this is going to juice the economy in a big way and you say
22:14what do you mean clay well thousands of dollars back an average of 3 400
22:19back in fact is going to put a lot more money into pockets uh that
22:24is more of your own money into your own pockets and that is going to
22:29result in a lot of money being spent which is going to juice the overall
22:33economy i think into the summer and the things are going to be going very
22:37positive this is my prediction as we come up on the fall that it's going
22:41to be hard for a lot of people to feel like the economy isn't substantially
22:45better thanks to having thousands of dollars on average back in their pockets now remember
22:51half of the people out there don't pay a dollar in federal income tax half
22:57so if you paid one dollar in federal income tax this year you paid more
23:03basically than the average american did because half of all americans don't pay federal income
23:08tax at all and so democrats are continuing to say we've got to tax the
23:12rich i mean that's the mom donnie plan that's the elizabeth warren plan that's the
23:15kathy hochel plan the rich are actually being taxed at an incredibly high rate i
23:21saw this this morning in response i was sharing the data on who's actually paying
23:27taxes and people say well the rich need to pay their fair share and this
23:32was one of the comments i went in after i shared all of the the
23:36data top one percent pays over 40 percent of all income tax top 10 percent
23:4372 percent of all income tax top 25 percent pays 87 percent of all income
23:50taxes that means the bottom 75 percent of earners only pay 13 percent of our
23:57total federal income tax and people say well the rich don't pay their fair share
24:01this is a great stat from uh the uh internal revenue service this is the
24:06irs themselves the top one percent of earners make 20 percent 26 percent of all
24:14income and they pay 46 percent of all federal taxes top two to five percent
24:22make 16 percent and pays 20 top five to ten percent they make 11 percent
24:28overall they pay 10 so it starts to get to the point and by the
24:33way the bottom 50 percent make 10 percent of all income and only pay two
24:40percent of all taxes so the rich the super rich out there make 26 percent
24:46of total income and pay 46 percent of taxes that's just the top one percent
24:53that's according to the irs uh we've got a couple of different calls i actually
24:58john in sacramento i want to get uh his story if he's still there john
25:02what did you uh what did you have to say you were out at a
25:06track meet in california this weekend hey clay big fan um yeah so my daughter's
25:12a freshman here in sacramento in high school track athlete so we were at the
25:15it's called the nike arcadia arcadia national meet in pasadena where they bring in the
25:21best runners and jumpers in the country so the winner of the boys of the
25:26girls excuse me long jump high jump and triple jump was a boy yeah and
25:32i follow it because my daughter's an athlete and i've seen this kid before he
25:38won this california state girls long jump triple jump and high jump last year at
25:44the championships so my ask to you is is you know i know this is
25:49an important issue that you talk about probably better than anyone else in the country
25:53is you know to publicize this because the net the championships are in six weeks
25:58again and he's going to win his fourth fifth and sixth championship over girls in
26:03a sport where clearly jumping is we don't even need to discuss it so this
26:08your daughter is how old she's a 15 year old freshman she's she doesn't do
26:13long jump she's a triple she's a she's a 800 runner but if the boys
26:17were running in the 800 clearly she'd get beat in there as well yeah this
26:21guy this dude his name is ab hernandez if i'm not mistaken and he has
26:26won multiple california state championships and he's on track to win in women's multiple more
26:33women's championships i'm just curious so i think it's an outrageous story we're going to
26:37cover it aggressively the state of california is going to try to protect this dude
26:41and they're going to argue that he should be able to win a women's championship
26:44because their argument is that he's every bit as much of a woman as your
26:48daughter is uh or any other actual woman that is competing what do the girls
26:54say when you hear him talk um what are they saying about the idea that
26:58a boy is going to win all of these state titles in california well yeah
27:02let me answer that but first first off last year they brushed it under the
27:05rug by saying that if anyone tied him if he won if a girl was
27:09second she'd be given a first place as well which is that's right obviously not
27:13a solution ridiculous but number two Like, my daughter is just kind of bemused by
27:18it because she hears me talk about it always because I'm not happy about it.
27:22But her and her friends, when they hear it, they're just, like, shocked.
27:25Like, even that it's happening, they're kind of like, it's happening, what can we do
27:29about it? You know, everyone says, well, the girls.
27:31What about the other parents?
27:32Come on. You're a dad.
27:34I think dads out there are just outraged by this in general.
27:36But are there dads and moms, do they have private conversations?
27:39Because they might be concerned about saying stuff publicly.
27:42I appreciate you calling in.
27:43And what are the private conversations like?
27:45So I come from, you know, I'm a politically active person.
27:49So I come in Republican circles and know a lot of people.
27:52And obviously they can't stand it.
27:53But as an example, Clay, I was sitting in the stands, obviously.
27:57So I'm amongst amongst the parents.
27:58And I slowly start to talk to them about this.
28:01And I can't tell you one of them who didn't think it was completely ridiculous.
28:05Yeah. So, you know, it's just it's just it's obviously it's unfair.
28:10But I'm asking you guys to publicize this.
28:12Come do your show there.
28:14Tell Harmeet Dillon to be there because it's happening still.
28:17President's done a lot, but it's happening.
28:19And this kid's going to take three more state championships from girls.
28:22Yeah. Thank you for the call.
28:24It's absolutely outrageous. We probably should cover it at Outkick.
28:29Again, this happened last year in California.
28:31This same boy won all of the girls state championships in many of these different
28:36track events. And now he's back to win again.
28:38And I just for all the people out there who claim, oh, this is not
28:44that big of a story.
28:45OK, then end it. Right.
28:48My wife was fired up about this recently because she said, you know, that this
28:54is an outrageous and indefensible perspective that they're arguing.
28:59Right. Right. That a boy is actually a girl and should be able to win
29:02a girls championship because they never defend it.
29:05Right. They just say, I don't know why you want to talk about this.
29:09Well, the reason we want to talk about it's because it's happening.
29:12And the way to solve it is to stop it from happening.
29:15And I always like to say, take it outside of gender.
29:21I loved it. Some of y 'all are listening right now.
29:23Cooperstown, New York, Major League Baseball's Hall of Fame is there.
29:27It's a beautiful area. They have a great little league competition in Cooperstown, New York.
29:34All these boys teams from all over the country, 12 you, that means you're 12
29:39and under, you show up and compete and I've said this before, but I think
29:43it's significant. You have to bring your actual birth certificate for your son to be
29:49able to compete to prove that he's eligible in 12 you, because obviously if you
29:54have a 13 or a 14 year old kid, he can dominate every actual birth
30:00certificates. And I know because I lost the birth certificate, but that's how much they're
30:04paying attention to this because they want to make sure competition is fair.
30:08Every single parent that is at that 12 you championship would be furious if somebody
30:14showed up with a 14 year old and dominated the tournament wouldn't be allowed.
30:18If they found out they were doing it, the whole team would get kicked out
30:21and everybody would be furious about it.
30:24What do you think is more valuable being 14 year old competing against 12 year
30:30olds or male testosterone competing against girl contenders?
30:37Is there, I mean, is there any doubt?
30:38I mean, this is just a basic issue of fairness.
30:41So the way they respond is they say, well, it doesn't happen very often.
30:44I don't know why you even want to talk about this.
30:47Is this really the most important thing going on?
30:49No. But if you responded in that same way and you said, well, okay, there's
30:54not that many 14 year olds playing 12 you baseball, it's only happening every now
31:00and then there's only four or five of them.
31:03Yeah, but they would dominate and they destroy the entire purpose of having 12 you
31:07competition. To me, this is such a no brainer issue and they know they're wrong
31:13on this because they won't even debate it.
31:16They know it's absurd, but I appreciate him calling and this is a real issue
31:20that continues to happen everywhere.
31:21And I think president Trump should weigh in again aggressively on this.
31:24Harmeet Dillon, if she and her team are working or listening to some of this,
31:28I think they should weigh in.
31:29I believe Harmeet is a California native, so this would strike her even more than
31:34usual. We'll get to a bunch of your talkbacks.
31:36We'll get to your emails.
31:37We'll finish up the program when we return.
31:40But I want to tell you, unfortunately, there is a major issue going on right
31:45now with safety. And a lot of people out there are spending a great deal
31:49of time worried about how to protect your families because you never know when, unfortunately,
31:56a violent act might occur.
31:58Did you guys see the video of the crazy guy that showed up at the
32:02house? It's gone mega viral, screaming and demanding to be allowed into a home.
32:07I believe he was coming trying to say he wanted to see one of the
32:10daughters of the individuals who live there.
32:14And maybe you saw that video and you thought to yourself, that'd be terrifying if
32:17it happened in my house, I wish that we had some security, maybe not lethal,
32:21but just security that would protect everybody in the house.
32:23That's exactly what Sabre does.
32:25The home defense launcher delivers seven powerful impact pepper projectiles, two more than most competitors.

35:19my idea is that the president proposes to pack the court to get all the
35:24democrats to come on record as to why court packing would be wrong and then
35:29we can use some arguments in the future if they should decide to do so
35:34um there is a ton of uh serious talk but that is a uh i'm

36:25the history of mankind i basically have to put the entire paper next to the
36:30light bulb to even be able to see it it's utterly ridiculous um let's see
36:36i said that the fork was vastly superior to chopsticks rich in wisconsin was not
36:41happy about that cut k you're wrong about chopsticks the best way in the world
36:49to eat ramen noodles or yakisoba noodles is with chopsticks nothing else even comes close
36:53a listener asked me that well first of all i don't eat that stuff very
36:58often but a listener asked me an interesting question do they use forks at american
37:03restaurants in japan because obviously we try to show off here by using chopsticks in
37:09japanese restaurants for instance if you go i've never been to japan if you go
37:13to japan and you go into an american style food place which they have tons
37:18of in japan do they use forks as an interesting cultural experiment so that you
