1:01Included with Prime. Hi, my name is Mira Patassen.
1:06I'm an author and I'm an activist.
1:09And GoFundMe is my go -to platform for fundraising.
1:12The first GoFundMe I did was to raise money for a chat book or a
1:20collection of poetry and essays and short stories.
1:24So we started a GoFundMe and our goal was $7 ,000.
1:28What I've learned that is so special about GoFundMe is that it's a whole collection
1:33of people offering anything from like $4 to $400.
1:38And each time you get a ping that someone donated, even if it is just
1:42$4, it's so exciting. So if you have a goal and you get there, you
1:46can keep making it bigger and bigger and bigger.
1:48We did go past our goal.
1:50It was amazing. GoFundMe is the world's number one fundraising platform trusted by over 200
1:55million people. Start your GoFundMe today at GoFundMe .com.
1:59That's GoFundMe .com. GoFundMe .com.
2:03Donald Trump is panicking as Iran is threatening his life.
2:09Iran is threatening him in response to Donald Trump saying, if you don't agree to
2:15the ceasefire on my terms, we're going to invade the Karg Island.
2:20We're sending Marines there. Get ready, Ron.
2:24And Iran saying, bring it on.
2:26And they're posting memes and AI videos and mocking Donald Trump.
2:31For example, they posted this meme right here through their state regime media in Iran.
2:37They write, to American soldiers, come closer.
2:42And it shows a casket right there by the Strait of Hormuz with an American
2:47flag on it. Also, you have Iranian regime media and others in Iran and cartoonists
2:54in Iran posting memes like this, mocking Donald Trump for Trump saying that Iran is
3:00giving him great gifts and presents and it makes him happy.
3:04Take a look at this cartoon right here.
3:07Trump, Iran sent me a very valuable gift.
3:10And for those listening on audio, it's a photo of Iran giving Donald Trump a
3:15gift where an Iranian soldier is kicking Donald Trump in the face.
3:19You also have Iranian soldiers taking photos of themselves on Karg Island.
3:26For example, right here, Iranian soldiers in underground trenches on Karg Island are posting photos
3:34and stating that they are ready to repel any possible U .S.
3:39landing by those Marine Expeditionary Forces on their way to Iran, as well as the
3:4482nd Airborne Division and the elite paratroopers attached to the 82nd Airborne.
3:50They're saying, we're ready to go in Iran.
3:53Judging by the photo right here, the Iranians have already received their FPV, those first
4:01person view kamikaze drones produced by potentially Chinese companies.
4:08You'll see right here, they have the video antennas as well.
4:11And you can see the videos and the photos that the Iranians are posting in
4:16these trenches as they are ready for war.
4:20They're ready for the invasion.
4:22They said that we've been preparing two decades to fight the Americans on our soil.
4:27Let's go, is what they're saying.
4:29And I just fear that Donald Trump, with no plan and his recklessness, is about
4:35to send our troops off to a very, very bad situation.
4:40I'll tell you what they're saying in Israel right now.
4:44This is an exclusive right here that Nadav Eyal posted.
4:49Exclusive. Israeli security officials are saying the following.
4:53The option that Donald Trump is talking about of seizing islands in Iran, whether it's
4:58Karg Island or others, or the Strait of Hormuz itself, is complex and fraught with
5:05danger and would likely trigger massive Iranian attacks on energy infrastructure, delaying of mines, and
5:12in many cases, severe escalation.
5:15So behind the scenes, what Israel is saying is if Iran refuses Trump's ceasefire plan,
5:23and in any case escalates attack on regional energy, that the Trump regime and Netanyahu
5:29should threaten and carry out strikes causing extensive damage to Iran's energy infrastructure, civilian energy
5:37infrastructure, and not immediately execute a ground operation.
5:41Israel's been saying that they believe that their operations could potentially take over a year
5:48longer, and that this could be a very long -term war indeed.
5:54You have Moshan Razi right here, a senior military advisor to the new Supreme Leader
6:02Mojtaba Khomeini, posting the following, and saying the following message to Iran regime media.
6:10If their air power, the United States air power, which is their main force, has
6:16not yielded results, what are they expecting from a ground operation?
6:22Are American soldiers ready to die for Israel?
6:26I guess we'll see. You see how the Iranians are taunting Trump, threatening Trump, threatening
6:33US soldiers right here saying, bring it on.
6:37And again, as an American, why are we in this war in the first place,
6:41other than the fact that Netanyahu told Donald Trump that they were going to be
6:46greeted like heroes in Iran, and that Netanyahu said that he was going to invade,
6:51so Trump better invade with him, or else Iran would strike back at Donald Trump.
6:57And so that's why Donald Trump rushed our soldiers into war.
7:01Let's take a look at what the Iranian foreign minister Aragatchi is saying.
7:06Here's what he posted. No nation in history has stood for nearly a month against
7:12the greatest nuclear arm power on earth and stopped them from achieving a single goal.
7:18This is a point of pride for all of humanity.
7:23Iran's foreign minister Aragatchi, Aragatchi rather, says there are no negotiations taking place.
7:30And he says the following to Iranian state regime media.
7:34There are no negotiations. The fact that they are now talking about negotiations in the
7:40United States is an admission of defeat.
7:43Didn't they say unconditional surrender?
7:46So why are they now mobilizing their highest officials to negotiate?
7:50Right? The Trump regime's like, we're sending J .D.
7:53Vance to Pakistan. And what they're saying in Iran is, well, as long as we
7:58get to control the Strait of Hormuz, as long as you remove all of your
8:03bases from the Middle East, as long as you agree never to attack Hezbollah, never
8:09to attack Iran again, you stay out of Lebanon, you stay out of Iran, as
8:15long as you apologize and give us full reparations, then we'll be willing to have
8:20a conversation in the first place.
8:22So all of these analysts here in the U .S.
8:26were like, oh, we're having these productive conversations.
8:28No, we're not. I think it's important that you see what they're saying in Iran
8:34as well, because in Iran, they feel that they have the upper hand right now,
8:38while Donald Trump's like, they're totally obliterated.
8:41There's no leadership there. It's total chaos, right?
8:45We learned yesterday morning that the way Donald Trump is getting briefed on this war
8:50is they're creating two -minute hype reels with videos of things blowing up.
8:56And that's how they show Donald Trump that Iran is being obliterated, but they're not
9:01explaining to him, apparently, that Iran has just more extreme people in those leadership positions.
9:08Sorry, let me keep reading what Foreign Minister Aragji continues to say.
9:13Aragji says, for countries we have identified as our friends, we have allowed them to
9:19pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
9:21This includes China, Russia, India, Iraq, and Pakistan.
9:25There is no reason to allow our enemy to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
9:29The enemy must learn a lesson, never to dare attack again.
9:32And the damages to the Iranian people must be compensated.
9:36International guarantees are not 100 % guarantees.
9:39The intrinsic guarantee we have created ourselves means no one dares to go to war
9:44with the Iranian people anymore.
9:46So far, no negotiations have taken place in a ceasefire.
9:50Without guarantees is a vicious cycle that repeats war.
9:54I mean, Trump's saying, let's do a 30 -day ceasefire and Iran's saying, why?
9:58You've run out of your munitions.
10:00You've exhausted your munitions stockpile now for, what, three to eight years?
10:06So you want a ceasefire so you can go back and try to build up?
10:09Why would we do that?
10:10And that's the reality. The United States Reserves musicians are basically eating up for the
10:16next three to eight years, according to a lot of the analysts out there.
10:22Aragji says, many foreign ministers in the region have now been contacting Tehran and Iran's
10:28stance has been principled and firm.
10:30The war clarified many facts.
10:32One that is the basis not only failed, that these military bases by the US
10:38not only failed, that these military bases by the US not only failed, but the
10:39US not only failed. to ensure security of the host countries, but they themselves now
10:44became sources of the insecurity for a lot of these countries.
10:49Earlier yesterday as well, there was a briefing before the House and the Senate.
10:55There was a briefing before the House Armed Services Committee, and even the MAGA Republican
11:01Mike Rogers criticized the Defense Department for not giving lawmakers more info.
11:06We want to know more about what's going on, what the options are, why are
11:12they being considered? We are not getting enough answers at all right here.
11:18And meanwhile, MAGA Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace posted three consecutive statements opposing the deployment of
11:26ground troops to Iran after walking out of a House Armed Services briefing, and she
11:31basically made it seem like a ground invasion is imminent.
11:35Nancy Mace goes, Washington's war machine is hard at work.
11:39They are trying to drag us into Iran to make it another Iraq.
11:42We can't let them. I will not support sending South Carolina sons and daughters to
11:47war in Iran. I won't do it.
11:49President Trump has been enormously successful so far, I'm sure.
11:52I'm sure, Nancy. But we cannot allow the Washington war machine to turn Iran into
11:57another Iraq. Just walked out of House Armed Services briefing on Iran.
12:01Let me repeat, I will not support troops on the ground in Iran, even more
12:06so after this briefing. Aragji posted the following in response to this story about how
12:14Donald Trump's been getting those hype videos that were those two -minute videos that show
12:20Iran getting bombed by the United States and Israel.
12:25And here's what Foreign Minister Aragji writes.
12:27It is said that Edward Bernays, a pioneer of mass persuasion, served on Committee on
12:34Public Information and worked to help Woodrow Wilson rally Americans for war in Europe.
12:39When he and Walter Littman met president in 1917, they reportedly said, we can sell
12:45the war to the public.
12:47More than a century later, little has changed.
12:52Except that now, it seems, the war is being sold not once, but daily, even
12:58to the president himself through carefully curated videos.
13:02What's going on with Iran's parliament yesterday?
13:05Iran's parliament moved toward formalizing their plan to charge tolls in the Strait of Hormuz.
13:11The head of parliament's civil commission said Iran is pursuing legislation to formalize its sovereignty,
13:18control, and supervision over the Strait of Hormuz and introduce tolls for ships passing through
13:23it, creating a new source of national revenue, according to Fars.
13:27He said a draft has been prepared but has not yet reached the full proposal
13:31stage. Lawmakers aim to send it to Iranians' parliament resource center next week for legal
13:37review before advancing it once sessions resume.
13:41Under the plans, vessels would be charged for transit in exchange for security, with the
13:46official arguing, the Strait should be treated like other international corridors, like the Suez Canal,
13:51where tolls are routinely paid.
13:53So when Donald Trump's like, they're so obliterated in Iran and they don't have any
13:57leadership. They're meeting in various committees in parliament to recommend different pieces of legislation and
14:05then having their working legal group review it right now.
14:08The bottom line right now is that Donald Trump got into this war, an unlawful
14:13war, without explaining the goals or objectives.
14:16This is already a disaster.
14:18This is further escalating. Donald Trump and his regime and Caroline Levitt, they show up
14:22every day. They lie to us.
14:25You want to talk about some of the damage being done in addition to the
14:28fact that two, three billion dollars are being spent on this war every day, probably
14:33more. And now Trump wants 200 billion dollars more for this war right on the
14:38eve of this ground invasion.
14:39Well, here is what we learned.
14:42Just the U .S. Air Force losses alone in the war.
14:45We've lost one F -35 damaged by Iranian defense, three F -15s, one KC -135,
14:53another KC -135, five KC -135s, 12 MQ -9 Reapers, one UH -6 helicopter.
15:01We showed you that photo of the FPV drone that was in the Camp Victory
15:06in Iraq. By the way, Iraq is on fire right now in a bad way.
15:11You have the Shiite militias there were targeted by Netanyahu and Trump.
15:17They're now responding by targeting American bases.
15:21Lots of sectarian violence in Iraq.
15:23Iraq is spiraling out of control as well.
15:25And it looks like the war is really being brought to Iraq right now.
15:29So not just Iran, Iraq, frankly, the whole area.
15:32I mean, you know, extending out through the Caspian Sea, right?
15:36Which is kind of this linkage point between Russia and Iran as well, where you
15:40have Russia basically sending, not basically, they are sending drones and supplies to Iran to
15:48kill Americans and to prepare for the invasion of Karg and to attack its neighbors
15:53at the same time the U .S.
15:55is releasing sanctions on Russian oil.
15:58Russia's giving Iran all the weapons right now.
16:01Like, it's obvious. According to the Financial Times, citing other officials briefed on the matter,
16:06Russia is preparing to. send a phased shipment of drones, medicine, and food to Iran.
16:11The deliveries began in early March and it's in the process of being completed right
16:17now. And when you think about it, remember we learned that, what was it, last
16:21week or so or in the past, earlier today, right, Israel struck a node for
16:27the Russo -Iranian trade networks in the Caspian Sea.
16:31So there were strikes in the Caspian.
16:33The war is spreading all over the region at this point.
16:37And I just think, again, that's not getting enough attention.
16:41And that's why we cover it here at the Midas Touch Network.
16:44As I mentioned earlier, the U .S.
16:47interceptor stockpiles depleted by Iran war could take three to eight years to replenish.
16:56It's a big problem. Big, big problem.
16:58One other thing I'll point out as well, as Adam Johnson said, once again, U
17:04.S. media is casually reporting the Pentagon's use of human shields.
17:09So here, the New York Times details how U .S.
17:13troops are hiding in civilian office spaces and hotels because they don't want to be
17:19vulnerable or are too close to the current front lines.
17:23Here's the article. Iran's attack forced U .S.
17:27troops to work remotely. And it's saying how right now the war in Iran has
17:33made all of these bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Iraq vulnerable to
17:40the point now where American service members can't really live or work there for extended
17:45periods of time, military officials said.
17:48So basically, all of those military bases in the Middle East right now have been
17:53abandoned by American soldiers who are now in hotels and other areas.
17:59Just letting you know what's happening in the region.
18:03We may not like to hear that, but that's what's happening in the region.
18:06This is not the story that you're probably getting anywhere else.
18:11And the same way five years ago, I was reporting on the Epstein files, right?
18:16The same way I've been reporting on the tariff and the trade war before, like
18:21lots of people were covering it.
18:23You know, the same way I would talk about Trump's deteriorating health, the same way
18:27I would say all these red flags and people weren't always saying in the past,
18:31oh, Midas touch, you're being hyperbolic.
18:33You're being, I'm trying to, I love our country.
18:38Okay. Like I do. I like, I want our country to be better for my
18:43daughter and for future generations.
18:45That's what, that's what I want more than anything.
18:47And so I view the ultimate patriotism, speaking the truth and calling all of this
18:53stuff out. You know, I, I, I want our troops to be safe.
18:57I don't want to be in this unlawful war.
18:59This is weakening us for generations right now, not to even mention how it's impacting
19:06us and our economy and people can't afford things here anyway.
19:10And, and the human toll, of course, all around and, and the war crimes being
19:15committed by the United States and Israel and the deaths being, and, and, and the
19:20attacks by Iran in the air in the areas.
19:22It's horrible. It's horrible. Hate war.
19:25Why are we in this war at all?
19:27Why, why, why, why do we invade Netanyahu?
