0:41to make the greatest deal that's going to make Obama's deal look so bad, I'm

0:47going to make the greatest deal with Iran ever, to Donald Trump now begging for

0:52an extension of the existing ceasefire with Iran for another two weeks.

0:58You know how Donald Trump's always like, I'm going to give you that healthcare plan

1:01in two weeks. Just give me two more weeks, everybody, right?

1:04We went from Donald Trump saying on Friday that the Strait of Hormuz was open

1:10and Iran's excavators are going to work with our military excavators to dig up all

1:16of that nuclear dust and bring it back to the United States.

1:20And Iran's no longer going to fund any of the proxy groups, whether it's Hezbollah

1:25or the Houthis. They've surrendered.

1:27They've agreed to everything, right?

1:29You know, there was some indication from the Pakistan mediator that there was certain communications

1:35moving at least a little bit in the right direction.

1:38Then Donald Trump ruined it all.

1:40He like tried to rub it in the face of the Iranians, then said, and

1:43we're going to make them surrender.

1:45And look how humiliating they are.

1:46And then Donald Trump pushed them away.

1:49And then we're kind of where we're at now.

1:52Iran doesn't want to have any further negotiations with the United States unless the U

1:57.S. actually agrees to the Iranian framework.

2:00And you have Pakistan in the middle basically saying, you know, could we get another

2:05two -week extension, please, Iran?

2:06And because all the nations in the Middle East right now are terrified of a

2:11war resuming, we're going to break it all down.

2:13And we're just going to give you the facts.

2:15I'm not going to give you, you know, one side.

2:17I'm just going to explain to you what's actually happening.

2:20And you could judge for yourself what's going on.

2:22Also, big news today, another Trump cabinet official has been fired.

2:27It shouldn't shock you. It is another woman cabinet member.

2:31The three cabinet members who have been forced out have all been women.

2:34First, Kristi Noem, Department of Homeland Security Secretary, then Pam Bondi, Attorney General, now Labor

2:40Secretary Lori Chavez -Doremer. They're framing it as a resignation.

2:46Donald Trump's communications director, Stephen Chung, says she's resigning, but clearly she was fired, in

2:52my opinion. A lot of turmoil there.

2:55She was under investigation for improper spending.

2:58There were allegations by the New York Post that she would go to strip clubs

3:01in Vegas and all of these places, and that there was like booze that was

3:05in the office, and there was all of these allegations about that.

3:09Then there were two of her top aides at the Labor Department.

3:13They resigned, or they were pushed out for creating hostile work environment and engaging in

3:18this conduct. Lori Chavez -Doremer's husband was apparently under investigation for potential sexual misconduct sexual

3:26misconduct inside the labor. department building itself.

3:30And so a lot of turmoil there.

3:31And let's not forget that Lori Chavez -Daremer was the individual, the first cabinet member

3:37who would put Donald Trump's banner like Stalin, like Hitler, like Kim Jong -un on

3:42the labor department building. And she would be at those cabinet meetings saying, Donald, you're

3:47going to see your big, beautiful face all over the building.

3:50So bye -bye, Lori Chavez -Daremer.

3:53We'll talk about that. And it feels like, let me bring in Brett and Jordy.

3:59It feels like so long ago when we, based on all of the developments, when

4:03we last held our last live show, but a lot is happening right now, including

4:09that most audacious fraud and market manipulation yet that Donald Trump did on Friday and

4:16his new tactic of calling up the reporters and having the reporters serve as his

4:20stenographers and saying, Donald Trump said, Donald Trump, Trump.

4:23And he just did like a, he opened the fire hose and just spread lie

4:27after, and just the craziest lies imaginable, but manipulated the market on Friday at least,

4:31Brett and Jordy. I just spoke to President Trump and he said that everything is

4:34going amazing and that we're, the oil is just flowing and flowing and flowing and

4:39the Strait of Hormuz is open.

4:40And Iran actually wants to join in a joint venture with Donald Trump and they

4:44want to build hotels and they want to go fishing together and they want to

4:48go to the zoo and they want to hang out.

4:50They just want to be friends.

4:51Donald Trump told me that.

4:53So let me just uncritically report it to the public.

4:55That's how like all of these tweets are lately.

4:57And they all drive me absolutely crazy.

5:00Can we stop talking about exactly what Donald Trump said and actually critically talk about

5:06it? You could say what he said.

5:08We show Donald Trump's posts on this channel, but we back up with, we, we

5:12do it in the context of giving you the actual details itself, not just showing

5:16these things uncritically and saying, acting like Donald Trump is telling the truth.

5:20We know that Donald Trump is not a truthful arbiter in this situation.

5:24And it's one of the things, by the way, that makes covering these issues so

5:28difficult. And especially by the way, when you're in a conflict or a war with

5:34like the Iranian regime, with people like that, you don't necessarily know who to trust.

5:39Then it becomes a difficult thing to grapple with when you realize that the information

5:43coming from the Iranians has been more accurate more times than not, than the information

5:48coming from our own white house.

5:50And it's not just me saying that the chief foreign correspondent at the wall street

5:54journal saying that also, it's really just a sign of the times, a sign of

5:59this administration, a rudderless depraved, deranged administration.

6:04We keep, you know, the, the, the latest with Lauria Chavez de Riemer, uh, her

6:09exit now, uh, and you look into the investigations that are happening into her and

6:14her behavior. You just start to paint this picture of like this, this cabinet that

6:19is just out of control.

6:20These people are all out of control.

6:22They're all drinking. They're all having affairs.

6:24They're partying. They're flying private jets to their girlfriends.

6:28Cutting off raccoon penises and sleeping with them.

6:31Cutting off raccoon penises and wanting to eat them or something as RFK did.

6:34I don't know. We don't need to go there.

6:36Okay. We don't need to go to the raccoon penises, but let's, but these people

6:40are truly, truly, truly off the wall.

6:44I started referring to them.

6:45Uh, you know, I, I've seen a lot of people say different things online.

6:48I saw a meme, uh, that said, uh, they're not a cabinet, uh, they're a

6:52drunk drawer or a junk drawer.

6:54And that was a Freudian slip by me calling it a drunk drawer.

6:58Uh, because you could also call them a liquor cabinet is another name going around

7:03for this group of people that we are seeing in, in, in the white.

7:19journalism right now than the, I just spoke to President Trump crowd.

7:23I mean, these legacy reporters out there, they are just so thirsty.

7:30They've become megaphones for the Trump regime.

7:33I mean, what are they doing?

7:34And we've been calling this out for a while, but boy, was it put on

7:37display Friday and this, I mean, it's just, it's next level.

7:41Like you can't ignore this anymore, that this is the type of reporting that they're

7:44doing. And look, nobody knows how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, quite

7:50like Donald Trump. He's a maniac that just needs to see like his fingerprints on

7:56everything to the detriment of the American people and to the detriment of actually getting

8:01stuff done. Ben, a lot to get into tonight.

8:04Where do you want to start off, big bro?

8:06Look, ask yourself these basic questions, the questions I ask myself as I'm trying to

8:11get at the truth into what's really going on with this war and this ceasefire.

8:16So the question I ask myself first is who controls the Strait of Hormuz right

8:22now? Before Donald Trump's unlawful catastrophic war against Iran, it was not controlled by Iran.

8:29There was an ability for all ships to pass through free commerce that was taking

8:35place. It didn't have to go through a pre -coordinated route controlled by the Islamic

8:39Revolutionary Guard. How many ships are getting through?

8:43What is happening in the Strait?

8:45And when you ask yourself that question objectively, setting aside the memes that Iran's posting,

8:51the deranged lunatic post that Donald Trump is posting, when you look at the Strait

8:56of Hormuz, this is one of those posts for audio listeners, Iran's gone on this

9:01like meme troll campaign using these like Lego movies that they've been making just to

9:07continue to troll Donald Trump and like significantly out troll Donald Trump at the troll

9:12game. But set that aside for a second, right?

9:15Let's talk about who controls the Strait of Hormuz.

9:18Iran does. Did Iran control it before?

9:20No, they didn't. Do they control it now?

9:22Yes. Who continues to talk about negotiation, deal, negotiation, deal over and over again?

9:29Is it Trump who keeps bringing up negotiations, deal, mediation, or is it Iran?

9:34It's Trump who keeps on talking about it all that I'm going to negotiate the

9:38best deal, the best deal.

9:39Iran isn't bringing up negotiations or deal.

9:41If anything, Iran is doing it in response to, are you going to show up

9:47to what Donald Trump is claiming exists, which Iran often is like, yeah, we don't

9:51know anything about that. Like we don't know what he's talking about.

9:54So I ask myself that question, who keeps on changing their negotiating positions or their

10:01positions in general? Who's out there one day saying total obliteration, regime change to there's

10:07a deal. Who keeps on saying one thing and then changing it the next day?

10:14And we're, you know, and, and just, you know, like Donald Trump is for audio,

10:18our post, uh, we posted this, but it was a repost of Donald Trump's March

10:236, 2026 post for Donald Trump said the following, there will be no deal with

10:28Iran except unconditional surrender. After that, and the selection of a great acceptable leaders, we,

10:34and many of our wonderful, very brave allies and partners will work tirelessly to bring

10:39Iran back from the brink of destruction, making it economically bigger, better, and stronger than

10:43ever before. Iran will have.

10:44the great future, make Iran great again.

10:46Thank you for your attention to this matter, Donald J.

10:48Trump, or Donald Trump would say, we don't need the Strait of Hormuz, then we

10:52need the Strait of Hormuz.

10:53We want NATO to participate.

10:54We don't want NATO to participate.

10:56So who's doing that? Iran's negotiating framework has been the same on day one as

11:04it is now, once they took control of the Strait of Hormuz in response to

11:09Donald Trump wanting settlement discussions and peace talks, Iran has always said, sure, but you

11:16have to agree to our framework.

11:17Here are non -negotiables. Here's our framework.

11:21Do you agree to it?

11:22And by the way, before the ceasefire started a few weeks back, Donald Trump posted,

11:26I agree to the 10 -point framework.

11:28And that 10 -point framework was basically a complete surrender to Iran and a complete

11:33victory to Iran. Now, whether you like the terms or don't like the terms, what

11:38we can't do here is be like, those weren't the terms or pretend they were

11:42something. We know what the terms were.

11:44Iran's always been saying them, 10 points, and Donald Trump reposted the Iranian foreign minister.

11:49The Iran foreign minister didn't repost Donald Trump and say, we agree to this.

11:55Trump reposted the Iranian foreign minister, Aragchi, before the ceasefire as though it was a

12:01great win for the United States.

12:02And those 10 points, the key points were remove all sanctions from Iran, remove all

12:08resolutions from the UN against Iran.

12:11Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz.

12:13They can charge millions of dollars on a toll booth for ships to go pass

12:17through the Strait of Hormuz.

12:20Permanent security guarantees for Iran and its proxy groups like the Houthis and Hezbollah, and

12:26the Shiite militia groups in Iraq.

12:28Iran gets to keep enriching uranium.

12:31Iran keeps all of its ballistic missiles.

12:34And Iran is recognized as a regional power.

12:38I mean, there's some more points, but that's basically it.

12:41It controls the Strait of Hormuz.

12:43That's it. I mean, those were the terms that Trump agreed to.

12:46And then when Trump showed up at the negotiations last time, or he didn't show

12:51up, but J .D. Vance and Whitcoff and Kushner did, J .D.

12:53Vance was like, oh, I guess the Iranians don't understand English well.

12:58Yeah, the 10 -point framework was actually our plan.

13:02I bet you M .B.

13:03Ghalibov, Iran's parliament leader, was like a PhD engineer.

13:07You could say a lot about these people, but very smart guy.

13:10Yeah, he didn't understand English.

13:12That's what it was. What do you mean he didn't understand English?

13:15I mean, of course, he understood what the 10 -point framework was.

13:19So I look at that, and I look at who's running, who's in charge of

13:23Iran right now, and it's the Islamic Republic and a more less group that's less

13:30interested in any negotiations. So a stronger, more entrenched Islamic Revolutionary Guard leadership in Iran

13:37right now. So I just look at those are the objective facts, right?

13:40I mean, that's what's actually happening.

13:43And it's easy for you to find the truth when you ask those questions, Brett.

13:47And I think it becomes a little easy, you know, when you start reading the

13:50tea leaves, kind of what folks are saying behind the scenes about Donald Trump and

13:53this war. Like what the kind of insiders are saying who are around Trump is

13:58that Trump's heart really isn't in this anymore.

14:00You know, I think Trump thought that he could do this like he did Venezuela,

14:03get in and get out, have it kind of be a one and done thing.

14:07And now he's stuck in a much bigger battle than he ever anticipated.

14:12And he's kind of already lost as is like the, by every single metric of

14:17this war, it's just been a complete and total disaster for the United States.

14:21It's been a complete and total disaster.

14:23for the United States economy.

14:25It's been horrific for our alliances.

14:28Just you go down the list.

14:29Everything about this has been absolutely awful.

14:33And so you hear from the inside that Trump is kind of like over it.

14:36He wants to kind of try to figure out how to move past it.

14:39But Trump also is somebody who never wants to admit defeat and can't just cut

14:44loose. And especially once you cause all this chaos and kill all of these people

14:48and disrupt the economies like this, you have to figure out how to make a

14:53deal in a peace agreement.

14:54You can't just get out of this, right?

14:56And so Donald Trump now, you even see it in the way he's starting to

14:59phrase his new posts. You're seeing a shift in his language where you see how

15:04he's trying to figure out how do I spin this thing as a win and

15:08how do I sell that to my MAGA base?

15:10How do I sell that to this country and say, look, I actually won.

15:14And his go -to is always to try to compare himself to Barack Obama.

15:19This is better than Obama.

15:21I'm doing a better job than Obama.

15:23Mind you, we wouldn't be in this position if Donald Trump didn't rip up Obama's

15:28Iran agreement, which goes much farther than any of the discussions that Donald Trump is

15:33even considering having are going right now.

15:36So in a best case scenario for Trump, he will kind of circle back to

15:41the Obama nuclear deal, but a much weaker version of that after making Iran, let's

15:47face it, like a very dominant power in the region.

15:49He has elevated Iran like Iran has never been elevated before.

15:54And I think when you look at Trump's recent messages that he's posting, you see

15:58that he's trying to make it, look, I did a deal.

16:01It's better than Obama. I'm better than Obama.

16:04Ha ha ha. But you're going to see the details start to come in of

16:08all these conversations. And of course, he hasn't been able to get a deal thus

16:11far. And you're going to see that this thing is going to be way weaker

16:14than anything Obama even did.

16:16And if he just kept Obama's plan to begin with, we would not be in

16:21this situation to begin with.

16:23Donald Trump posted the following today.

16:25He wrote the deal that we are making with Iran will be far better than

16:29the JCPOA. That's the Iran nuclear deal.

16:32Commonly referred to as the Iran nuclear deal.

16:34Penned by Barack Hussein Obama and sleepy Joe Biden.

16:37One of the worst deals ever.

16:39It was guaranteed road to a nuclear weapon.

16:41Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

16:43And he says, if a deal happens under Trump, it will guarantee peace, security, and

16:46safety, not only for Israel and the Middle East, but for Europe, America, and everywhere

16:50else. It will be something that the entire world will be proud of instead of

16:54the years of embarrassment and humiliation.

16:57Embarrassment and humiliation. That sounds awfully familiar where the United States is right now under

17:03Donald Trump's leadership. Exactly. To borrow a Trump term, he doesn't have the cards.

17:09He doesn't have the cards to sell this to the American people like it's some

17:12great victory that he's orchestrating from behind the scenes because he's such a tactician trying

17:17to figure all of this out.

17:18I mean, really, what a smart guy.

17:20No, he doesn't have the cards.

17:21He can try all he wants.

17:23You know what's registering with the American people?

17:25Over a dozen American troops dead for a war of choice.

17:29The Strait of Hormuz closed.

17:31It was open before we got there.

17:33Now the whole war is built around opening the damn thing again.

17:36Oil prices skyrocketing, right? And by the way, the over a dozen troops dead, that's

17:40the number that we just that it's been reported.

17:42Who knows what the real number is here?

17:44The Donald Trump shtick is officially growing old even for his own MAGA base.

17:50There is no way, literally no way for him to sell this as any victory.

17:56We've already seen the MAGA base turn on him for this just utter collapse of

18:00just absolute. buffoonery of what we're seeing here.

18:03Again, the main things that are sticking in people's minds right now, over a dozen

18:07U .S. troops dead because of Donald Trump, skyrocketing oil prices in the straits still

18:12closed, Ben. You know, there's an expression for tennis players that you don't want to

18:18be in dead man's land or no man's land, which is kind of right in

18:22the middle, right between the net and the back area of the court.

18:26Because once you're in the middle, you kind of have to commit to one way

18:28or the other, right? Am I going to go to net?

18:30Am I going to stay back?

18:31And Donald Trump is in kind of no man's land or no person's land in

18:36the war. He's not committing ground troops and doing a ground invasion, which our military

18:42leaders say that they believe that they can take Cargill and they can take control

18:48of Iran, but it will cost tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of

18:54service member deaths. And it will be bloody.

18:56And it will be one of the, I think, biggest death situations, I think, in

19:03the history, perhaps even bigger than World War II of our soldiers ever, I think

19:08worse than Vietnam. But our military says, if that's what you want to do, here's

19:13how we do it. Here's the plan.

19:15And the top generals and admirals said, here's how you do it.

19:18Let me be very clear in my view.

19:19I think this whole war is unlawful, is unjust, is catastrophic, that we were pulled

19:25into it by net. Now, I just want to give you my opinion.

19:28So I'm not endorsing that plan.

19:30I'm just telling you what the military generals have said.

19:32We can do it. It's going to cost tens of thousands, if not hundreds of

19:35thousands of American soldiers. We'll have to see.

19:38I mean, to me, I don't think we could do it, even if the generals

19:41claim, I think it'll look like what's happening with Russia and Ukraine, where there's been,

19:46you know, potentially millions of deaths of Russian soldiers, you know, in that catastrophic, unlawful

19:51invasion of Ukraine. But they're saying that's a path.

19:55The other path is Donald Trump negotiates with Iran, but then you have to concede

20:01defeat or concede a loss because Iran's not moving away from its framework.

20:06So you're going to have to agree that Iran can enrich uranium at some point.

20:10You can say, we're going to take everything.

20:13We take the Strait of Hormuz.

20:15You can support Hezbollah and the Houthis and the Shiite militia groups in Iraq, and

20:21you have to destroy your ballistic missiles, and we're going to excavate and get all

20:25the nuclear dust, and we get to choose the regime.

20:28You can't try to do in a negotiation that which you cannot accomplish on the

20:33battlefield. And, you know, I don't know, maybe because Donald Trump's so used to dealing

20:37with sycophants and a media that bends the knee and so many weak corporations that

20:42Trump's used to like thinking that he's so smart and that he tricks people.

20:46He's not tricking, you know, even the people here domestically.

20:49They just believe it's in their self -interest to sell out people and to be,

20:53in my view, traitors to this country and democracy for short -term profit over the

20:58long -term stability, frankly, of their companies and interest in this country in order to

21:03be Trump's sycophants. Like, Iran realizes what he's doing.

21:05So Trump's in no man's land.

21:07In other words, he thinks that he's going to social media post his way out

21:12of it, and that he can just do extensions.

21:14Two weeks ceasefire, two weeks, two weeks, two weeks, two weeks.

21:16Maybe everybody forgets about it, like the healthcare plan, and everyone's like a miracle.

21:21Nobody's going to talk about it, and then maybe a new crisis develops, or maybe

21:25Donald Trump just keeps on delaying it, and then he gets bailed out by Gulf

21:29countries who try to reach a solution, or he gets bailed out because Europe is

21:34in a jet fuel crisis, or Asia is running very low on fuel.

21:38So China may be figuring it out.

21:39And then - Donald Trump swoops in and goes, I figured it out.

21:42I solved it when other countries come in and now try to figure it out.

21:45But Trump just keeps two weeks, two weeks, two weeks, two weeks.

21:48I mean, in terms of bankruptcies, if we think about Trump bankrupting his casino, this

21:54would be a bankruptcy in terms of the US security umbrella in the Middle East.

21:59It's bankrupt to the extent there was a version of a chapter seven or chapter

22:0311. We've experienced it in the Middle East.

22:05Nobody trusts the United States security guarantees anywhere in the world at this point.

22:11Yes, other countries recognize that still America makes some of the most powerful weapons and

22:17the American military industrial complex is the strongest that there is for certain types of

22:24weapons, not the nimble weapons necessarily, the drones, the unmanned vessels and some of the

22:30weapons that work today. But there's a lot of very powerful weapons the US has,

22:35the F -35s and the 15s and certain types of drones and other types of

22:41equipment and the HIMARS and things like that.

22:44But overall, the security umbrella broken.

22:46I mean, there was a big conference that was held in Turkey over this past

22:53weekend where lots of Gulf countries were there.

22:56And the constant theme was, and they were delicate in how they said it, but

22:59it was basically like, yeah, why do we have American military bases in our country?

23:05What was the point of giving Donald Trump all of the, they didn't say it

23:08as direct as this, but if you read between the lines of their diplomatic language,

23:13what did we get in return?

23:14Why did he not even let us know about the war was even going to

23:18start? Him and Netanyahu just went along.

23:21We didn't even get a heads up and they weren't able to protect us when

23:24we needed them. And so this is what Trump wants to do.

23:28And he thinks he can do, which he can't with Iran is be in no

23:31man's land, right? Well, he'll do his threats and his social media posts and, you

23:36know, he'll all caps, I'm going to obliterate you.

23:39That doesn't make Iran scared.

23:41And then what Donald Trump does, cause he wants to act a little tough, but

23:45it actually makes him look very weak in Iran's mocking it is he puts on

23:49this blockade right around the Persian Gulf.

23:52So Trump's view of opening the Strait of Hormuz is further blockading the Strait of

23:56Hormuz because Donald Trump doesn't want to commit to a ground invasion because he's scared

24:01to do it. And he shouldn't do it.

24:03Let me be very clear.

24:04I'm glad that he's scared to do it because it's unlawful, but I'm not glad

24:08that we got in this unlawful catastrophic war to begin with.

24:12But he, this blockade makes him feel tough, but at the end of the day,

24:16it makes him look really weak internationally.

24:18And what Iran's saying is the most powerful Navy in the world, the United States,

24:24they went from saying he's going to do mine sweepers and he's going to control

24:28the Strait of Hormuz to basically now the U S Navy is acting like pirates

24:33going after cargo ships. It's like, we're trying to get our ships to go to

24:37China to deliver food. And the American Navy is bragging about interdicting out of maybe

24:44eight ships. It's able to interdict one of them.

24:47And then CENTCOM brags like this is some major accomplishment that the most powerful Navy

24:52in the history of the world is able to jump on an Iranian ship.

24:57And so Trump thinks that's a point of strength.

24:59It's a point of weakness, but more significantly, it is something that is anathema.

25:04It's something that prevents negotiations from taking place because how could you negotiate when Trump

25:10views that the blockade is going to put pressure on Iran to negotiate.

25:14And Iran says, we're only going to negotiate if you respect our sovereignty.

25:18If you respect our 10 -point framework, if you respect our right to exist, if

25:22you respect us as a country and you demonstrate that that's how you can rebuild

25:27trust for us to be at the negotiating table.

25:30And now some of you may watch this go, why would we do that?

25:33Screw that. Why, you know, whether you were the US, why would we respect?

25:37Okay, then don't do that.

25:39Then I guess do a ground and like you have to choose which way you

25:42want to go, then do a ground invasion and lose tens of thousands of hundreds

25:46of thousands of American soldier lives, try to take over Cargill and it would be

25:49catastrophic. But you have to like, one of the reasons why leadership is so important

25:54and temperament and experience and successfully running things before is that you're entrusted to make

26:01very difficult decisions. And sometimes the decisions may have to mean withdrawal and you have

26:08to concede a defeat or sometimes it means escalation.

26:11But this no man's land, this no person's land that Trump's doing, all that is

26:16very much reminiscent of it's COVID all over again.

26:19It's saying like a miracle, it's all going to go away two weeks, two weeks,

26:23two weeks, two weeks, two weeks.

26:24And that's the plan. We're in a two week cycle.

26:26But what's happening behind the scenes is that we have this oil shock that is

26:31going to cause damage for years, perhaps decades right now, because so much oil is

26:38not being shipped and is not even being, you know, drilled for at this point

26:43because there's nowhere to contain the oil anymore.

26:46Supply shocks across the board on other things, liquefied natural gas and fertilizer.

26:50And all of these things are going to catch up and someone's going to have

26:53to fix it eventually, right?

26:55And then what's Trump's, this is why we need to frame these issues appropriately because

26:59then what Trump does is blame the person who fixes it, right?

27:02He's the arsonist. Let's be clear.

27:04He's breaking everything. An adult is going to have to come in at some point

27:07to fix it. But what Trump's done his entire life, whether it's with COVID, his

27:12bankrupt businesses, is that he then blames the fixer.

27:15He blames the person who tries to make things better.

27:18So that's why we have to finally have a news company like the Midas Touch

33:12negotiations with the united states here's what he posted right before we went live trump

33:18by imposing a siege and violating the ceasefire seeks to turn this negotiating table in

33:25his own imagination into a table of surrender or justify renewed warmongering we do not

33:33accept negotiations under the shadow of threats and in the past two weeks we have

33:39prepared to reveal new cards on the battlefield i mean this is the lead negotiator

33:45and he's saying donald we're not dumb we know what you're doing here we're not

33:49going to allow you to use negotiations for you to achieve that which you couldn't

33:54on the battlefield and if you think that in a war we're not ready for

33:59we're ready to go after lots of other middle east nations in ways that we

34:05held back before where there are american interests now i think that the real serious

34:11effort to not allow this war to continue i mean it's coming from the gulf

34:16countries i mean donald trump is running around like a headless chicken although i don't

34:21like that's a mean analogy but that's how it's being described by uh military leaders

34:27and others in the white house i mean this wall street journal expose on donald

34:32trump that was published this past weekend i mean it's as damning as can be

34:35because these leaks are coming from within from top military leaders behind trump's public rubato

34:40on the war he grapples with his own fears and he's described like you know

34:44so when people like hey ben you know those titles man are hyperbolic you know

34:48you're saying he's panicking and he's running around he's not panicking all right i mean

34:53look the wall street journal is citing lots of military leaders and cabinet members and

34:58other people they're saying that donald trump is panicking and running around and cursing and

35:03it's gotten so bad they have to keep donald trump out of the situation room

35:06when they give him updates of meaningful events because they think that donald trump being

35:11out there will resolve being in the room will result in people getting killed because

35:17trump is so erratic so just think about that right there so you know but

35:21i think a lot of the pressure this is why you have to study international

35:24relations and see the dynamics of what's actually going on here so saudi arabia and

35:30pakistan have a uh security defense pact and part of the security defense pact is

35:38a lot of resources go to pakistan but pakistan has to help saudi arabia and

35:43so pakistan is kind of caught up in this situation you know as well and

35:47it wants a lot of this saudi money and this is how pakistan in its

35:52um uh ongoing existential feud with india remember there was the india pakistan war which

35:59started under donald trump's tenure which donald trump claimed um that he solved but then

36:05in india you had modi say you had nothing to do with it um so

36:09pakistan is well aware of that war so they and part of this defense you

36:13are getting all of these resources from Middle East nations.

36:16So Pakistan also both for their prestige and to help the Saudis are heavily involved

36:21in this negotiation because these Middle East countries, just think about it, whether it's Qatar

36:25having their liquefied natural gas facilities blown up, whether it's Saudi Arabia, key infrastructure, you

36:33go to Bahrain, you go to Kuwait, you go to all these countries, right?

36:36United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, no one's who's going to go there for tourism

36:42anymore, right? Like, like who's going to be moving to these areas?

36:45And they spent a lot of time trying to diversify outside of just being, you

36:49know, these crude, these crude oil countries.

36:52And so I think they're putting a lot of pressure on Pakistan.

36:55You got to like, like we know Trump's a maniac, but like keep this ceasefire

36:59so that these Middle East countries can try to figure it out.

37:03And they're trying to buy time as well.

37:05So I think that's one of the things happening.

37:07By the way, I think they're putting pressure on the Trump administration as well.

37:10There's been some crazy reporting that I really don't think is getting enough attention about

37:14the United Arab Emirates. There was a story over the weekend in the Wall Street

37:17Journal. It was, I got to honestly give it up to them.

37:20They've been actually doing a really good job lately.

37:22And they were warning the Trump administration at a meeting with Trump officials, I believe

37:27in DC, that basically if this war continues with Iran, that it could totally destabilize

37:32their entire economy. And this is an economy, the United Arab Emirates, which, you know,

37:37oil obviously plays such a big role in this economy.

37:39You know, they thought they had a lot of runway, I think, you know, to,

37:43to, to absorb the pain from something like this.

37:47But they are pissed off right now at the Trump administration.

37:50And they're saying like, if this takes down our economy, we're going to need you

37:54to bail us out, Donald Trump.

37:55This is your fault. You're going to have to do something for us.

37:59They even raised the idea of currency swap lines to give them access to more

38:03US dollars in the case of a crisis.

38:05And they also threatened and this would like completely destabilize the United States economy would

38:11be like a death blow.

38:12And I think it's incredibly unlikely.

38:14But this is what they said to the Trump officials.

38:16They said that if the UAE ran short on dollars, that they may be forced

38:20to start selling oil in Chinese yuan, that would be the biggest blow to the

38:26United States of America imaginable.

38:29And that's a card that they have.

38:30And that's a card that they are threatening to use against the Trump administration.

38:35And it just goes to show you, right?

38:37You have all these Gulf nations out there.

38:39The first thing that they did when Donald Trump came into office here, Mr.

38:43Trump, take this jet here, take this, you know, let's let me give your son

38:46-in -law money. Let me do this.

38:48Let me do that. All of this stuff, which is essentially just a bribery for

38:51Donald Trump to turn around and just screw them over with this war, destroy their

38:56tourism, destroy their economies, get them into this war, into this conflict, whatever you want

39:02to call it, what they're involved in as a result of Donald Trump's war in

39:06Iran. But it's, I think it's very telling that you have the United Arab Emirates

39:10meeting with Trump officials in the treasury and elsewhere in the White House to make

39:16these warnings, to make these threats and to say, basically, you screwed this up, you

39:21better fix it. He's a serial bankruptor.

39:24Like everything Trump touches turns to shit.

39:27And that's just the most obvious conclusion of any relationship that this man has ever

39:31had. It's just, that's just that there is countless evidence, countless of examples of this

39:37every single time. And everything, every single time he tries to put his fingers on

39:41the scale of doing any sorts of business, he fails miserably.

39:44He bankrupted a goddamn casino.

39:47I just like, that is the most humiliating thing ever for any sort of businessman

39:51to actually do. He's absolutely pathetic.

39:54Of course, this was going to be the natural turn or evolution of this relationship.

39:58It does not surprise me in the slightest.

40:01If you look at Donald Trump's past, Jordi, though, of the bankruptcies, he would convince

40:05different groups of bankers to basically fund his bankruptcies.

40:10And they would be the ones holding the bag.

40:13It would be these lenders, and it would also be the contractors who would get

40:19screwed over. And then he would do these reorganization bankruptcies, and then he would screw

40:25them over again. And then he would come out with this kind of grandiose plan

40:29of building the biggest da -da -da -da -da.

40:31And he would, again, manage to convince another group of people.

40:35And by the time he was on The Apprentice, he really kind of ran through

40:39any type of lender that was out there.

40:43And when a lot of people were pointing to Trump's foreign entanglements, lots of people

40:49were basically saying he ran out of any type of legitimate lenders.

40:53And so he had to go elsewhere to potentially get his money and to help

40:59kind of bail him out.

41:01And now what we're seeing here is he was basically, you know, these Arab nations

41:08were basically like the bankers.

41:10And they don't like Donald.

41:13It's not like, oh, we like you.

41:14I mean, Trump's like, they like Trump.

41:16They like Trump. No, I mean, they've done the psychological profile, and they believed, how

41:23could our tourism ever be in jeopardy if Donald Trump builds a Trump property in

41:29the center of our city?

41:30Or if there's a Trump golf course, we're protected because he's going to want to

41:34protect his own things. But the fallacy is the fallacy that Donald Trump is rational,

41:41that he's able to actually, you know, think, you know, think through these things or

41:46a few steps that, and that he can meaningfully execute successfully.

41:50Because what they should have looked at is all, Jordy, to your point, all of

41:53these failures in the past, because they're just the next suckers and losers, to use

41:59a Trump term, that gave him all his stuff, and then that he screwed over.

42:04And now what he's looking to do is find his bad guy, right?

42:08I mean, go back to all of these other examples.

42:10So who was it that was to blame for this or that or the other?

42:14Who was it to blame when he destroyed Atlantic City?

42:17Who was it to blame when, you know, he, you know, destroyed this building project

42:22or that building? Who were the bad guys who all, you know, he has to

42:26find that in this narrative that he creates so he can walk while others get

42:30destroyed. And now it's NATO.

42:32NATO is that boogeyman. NATO screwed me over.

42:35And these Asian countries didn't help.

42:38And these people didn't help.

42:39And that's why we're in this situation.

42:41It's Ukraine's fault. And Biden did it.

42:44And it was Obama's deal, right?

42:46This is how losers behave.

42:48And we're seeing Trump, again, behave the way a loser behaves, the way someone who

42:53bankrupts things behave. And if you go back to when we first started talking about

42:59this regime, when they came into power, and of course, you can go back to

43:03Midas Tajirs and see the in -depth analysis and warnings that we gave.

43:07But set that aside. What I had always been saying is the problem is when

43:12something goes wrong, he takes something that goes wrong and makes it into a bigger

43:16problem. He takes a bigger problem and makes it into a crisis.

43:19He turns a crisis into a catastrophe.

43:22He turns the catastrophe into something existential.

43:25And then there's a bankruptcy event that eventually happens.

43:28We see this with him over and over.

43:30over again because someone who doesn't have his pathology, just his nature to lose, he's

43:37the gambler who doesn't leave the table until everything is lost.

43:42The malignant narcissist, all of that combined always kind of renders an outcome because someone

43:47who holds themselves accountable would come up with a solution that is humbling.

43:53And the humbling answer right here, maybe you have to concede some sort of strategic

43:58defeat because you weren't able, first off, you shouldn't have gone to the war in

44:03the first place. Unlawful, catastrophic war, let's be clear, you shouldn't have done it.

44:06But now that you have not won on the battlefield, pretending that you won is

44:12not a legitimate outcome because the other side doesn't agree with that assessment and they're

44:17holding on to their victory.

44:19The Strait of Hormuz, still the uranium that exists, which you did not obliterate back

44:23in June. All of their Shahid drones, or they still control 40 to 50 %

44:28still exist. The ballistic missile launchers, the ballistic missiles, their stronger relationship with Russia and

44:35China, Iran being a major regional player right now, charging a toll.

44:40So you can't bullshit your way out of this, like you can't.

44:43And so you have to, again, get out of no man's land and make a

44:47decision and being there again.

44:50Iran, you know, to their point too, you know, why they may extend the ceasefire

44:55if they do, you know, is that they see Donald Trump squirm.

44:59Like, you know, the expression of like, you know, don't, don't, you don't need to

45:04do anything. You could just watch your opponent when they're making mistakes, like let them

45:08make them. And you could just watch Donald Trump, you know, go back and forth,

45:11back and forth. And nothing materially has changed in the Strait of Hormuz.

45:15Iran controls it. They control it.

45:17They want to charge tolls.

45:18So they could sit back and be like, okay, you want to extend it two

45:21more weeks? Sure. We're going to keep building up our missiles that the nations, the

45:27Arab nations know that we could shut down the Strait at any given moment and

45:31we could start attacking them again.

45:32So the only thing that, the only thing that's changed is Donald Trump has become

45:37increasingly and increasingly desperate. That's the most obvious change that we've seen come out of

45:43this. To your point, Ben, there's nothing more material that have substantially moved the needle

45:48in any way, except it's very clear that Donald Trump is panicking.

45:52Sorry, Brett. How's this for a stat?

45:54Ready? This is via Lloyd's list.

45:56Iran's shadow fleet is moving.

45:58At least 26 vessels have reportedly bypassed the U .S.

46:01blockade with 10 plus ships crossing just this past week.

46:05Since April 13th, 11 tankers and one bulk carrier have successfully navigated out of the

46:11region. So while Trump and CENTCOM, they like to spike the football and say, look,

46:16we stopped this one ship.

46:18There are all of these other ships going through at all times.

46:21And I saw an interesting analysis and some sourcing from inside Iran about these negotiations

46:26as well. And we will see what happens.

46:29We're in this period right now where it's kind of like all sides are posturing

46:31and are kind of chest beating and are, you know, kind of feeling each other

46:35out. But one of the things that I saw, which kind of made a lot

46:40of sense to me, to be honest, is that Iran on some level doesn't even

46:45understand what getting into a negotiating room with Donald Trump's team would even do.

46:51Like, what is the benefit of that if when you make the deals inside the

46:55negotiating room, Donald Trump goes on Truth Social and then he lies about what was

46:59discussed in those meetings? They're not exactly, they're not dealing with an honest person on

47:04our side. And so it makes it difficult.

47:06Like last time when, you know, they had agreed that Lebanon was included in the

47:10ceasefire, then Donald Trump decided, oh, Lebanon was not included.

47:13When Donald Trump said in his post and reposted the foreign minister of Iran saying

47:19that we have agreed to Iran's 10 -point framework to discuss this, to have the

47:24ceasefire and discuss a deal going forward, then Donald Trump saying that he did not

47:28actually agree to that 10 -point plan at all, despite literally writing that out in

47:33his own social media post.

47:35So I've seen some sources close to the Iranian regime say, maybe we don't even

47:40do these sorts of meetings because they're unproductive.

47:44Donald Trump is just going to lie about it.

47:46We need written agreements. We should have this.

47:48This should be public. We should be showing our written agreements and having it kind

47:52of litigated in public so that people are seeing what is actually happening in the

47:56negotiations. It's hard for me to look at that and think like, oh, yeah, that

47:59actually makes sense when you're dealing with somebody as deceitful as Trump in this process.

48:03Absolutely. And look, it's kind of also what we've always said here at the Midas

48:07Touch Network when Donald Trump would tout, I have this plan with India.

48:10I have made this agreement with China.

48:12I've made this deal with Japan.

48:13And it's like, what do you even say?

48:16What is the deal? What is the framework?

48:18Can we see the paperwork?

48:19Can we see the signatures on the paperwork?

48:22You can't just say you have a deal, Donald, when there's actually no deal in

48:26place. Then he goes, oh, it's a framework of a deal.

48:28Dude, you're a putz. You're a putz and no one takes you seriously.

48:31And you know what? His own internal people don't take him seriously.

48:36I want to go back really quickly to where we started this segment, which was

48:38that Wall Street Journal article.

48:40I mean, this was damning.

48:42This was as damning as it gets.

48:44I want to emphasize this from the article.

48:46The military essentially staged like a quiet internal coup of the situation room because Donald

48:52Trump's ego and his temperament, they're just viewed as such a direct threat to the

48:56American lives that he can't even be like in the room with them, like in

49:00its most basic form. It's that that Donald Trump's own handlers view him as this

49:06liability. So again, let me just like get this straight.

49:09During the high stakes mission to rescue our downed US airmen in Iran, military advisors

49:15intentionally excluded Trump from the command room.

49:17Like they didn't do this for his security or for reasons to protect Trump.

49:21They did it because they feared like his erratic temperament would just totally derail the

49:26mission. Do you know how insane that is?

49:28Like, just take a step back.

49:29If any other president had done this, this would be wall to wall coverage.

49:33And by the way, this part is often overlooked in that story that instead of

49:37receiving real time live feeds of the situation, which is standard for any president, like

49:42we all know that Trump's aides were giving him updates of meaningful moments, like whatever

49:47that means. Even Trump's own handlers, they treat him like this kid that just cannot

49:52be trusted with like our secrets or the safety of these missions.

49:56And so like, I just look at this audience and more so I look to

50:00MAGA specifically. I'm asking MAGA, are we great yet?

50:04Like, is this the golden age?

50:06Is this a president who is stable and bringing back the dominance of this country?

50:12Are we alpha? Are we alpha enough for you?

50:14Because all I'm seeing is like one misstep after the next, absolutely pathetic handling of

50:20all of this to the point where his own people don't trust him enough to

50:24be in the commander. But two quick points I'll make.

50:27Where are those F -15E pilots, right?

50:30You would normally think we'd learn who they are or they would show up on

50:33state regime media Fox. And so I have serious questions about that whole operation.

50:37Why were there hundreds of special operations forces in order to recover two F -15E?

50:43Wouldn't you want to go in with less people to try to be more stealthy?

50:46Why would you use C?

50:47130s why would you conduct an operation where you build a whole airstrip why was

50:52it so close to the uh nuclear facility in iran where there was previous plans

50:58that special forces would take this uranium and so i'm not doubting that f -15e

51:03pilots may have gone down but i'm also not doubting that once that happened it

51:08was then used as a broader pretext as part of a search and rescue operation

51:13to then bring in lots of special forces to engage in a mission that was

51:17then aborted and so i have lots of even broader questions about the whole thing

51:21i just want to this is an administration the trump administration the trump regime that

51:25has quite that is literally like they post everything every illegal uh uh strike they

51:31do on boats in the in the pacific or in the caribbean they show you

51:35right they show you every everything they they try to post anything that they think

51:39could possibly make them look good so it is shocking to me that there's no

51:44footage of this at all nothing zero they haven't even told us even the pilot's

51:49name uh what their rank what like we know nothing about these people it just

51:53it just is odd it really is a very it's such a good point because

51:56the same way too they weaponize like american iconography like they wrap themselves in the

52:00flag and again they spike the football over any tiny teeny win you would think

52:06that they would name these pilots in fact probably bring them up give them medals

52:10of honor like do do the whole show do the whole show but no app

52:14like not even they oh no but they did this one thing no they haven't

52:18done anything and that right there that gives it all away to me i like

52:22that trump's new thing is every time now he like pauses uh bombing iran he

52:27views it as him ending another war so now he's up to like he's ended

52:3012 wars he'll end 11 wars if the ceasefire goes and it just so it's

52:34also stupid look when you look at what these gulf nations would say when iranian

52:38drones and missiles would hit their targets they would never say the drone hit it

52:42right it would always be the debris hit it right anybody yeah you think i

53:25involved in a car accident with two mexican officials who were also involved in going

53:29after uh drug dealers in the area and so two two mexican officials two american

53:35officials got killed and then some story about it was like a car accident it's

53:39like stop treating us like we're stupid okay i'm sure it was a cia operation

53:43or it's part of ongoing military operations that are against mexican law and now claudia

53:49scheinbaum the president of mexico says you know she's she's looking into that sorry brett

53:53no i was saying i was just saying totally when i when i read this

53:57that there was this you know bizarre car accident that killed two american officials two

54:01mexican officials in mexico and then claudia scheinbaum said she didn't even know about that

54:05didn't even know what they were doing and they said that this was part of

54:07something to do with counter narcotics or something the whole the whole thing seems incredibly

54:12suspicious to me uh we know that uh the united states government and the cia

54:17does a lot of activity um that they try to hide in places like mexico

54:22and in latin america and in south america and that just uh it just didn't

54:27pass the sniff test all the explanations they're they're given on that one and they

54:30sort of swept it right under the rug as well like that's how many people

54:33watching this haven't even heard about that right right last point i'll make uh trust

54:37is the ultimate currency in international affairs and donald trump uh you know broke all

54:43the trust immediately 90 deals in 90 days jordi the point that you make when

54:48there was not 90 deals there were frankly no deals in 90 days nothing was

54:52ever written on paper we started to hear things like oh well there's a framework

54:56or there is organizing principles and we did a framework over here and then like

55:01press releases were written so okay well where's the actual deal and then you start

55:05there's a framework of a framework there's a concept of a deal and one of

55:08the reasons we were pointing out that these are all fake is when donald trump's

55:12out there saying he was getting trillions of dollars here and trillions of dollars there

55:15and he brought in 21 trillion dollars we're saying it's not real because ultimately the

55:21question is is if you brought in 21 trillion dollars what's the impact of that

55:26going to be i get you can lie and you can get a good press

55:29release but ultimately if people don't feel it if you don't experience it eventually people

55:33know that you're a liar and it's some of the most dangerous and weird things

55:36to lie about to say someone gave you 21 trillion dollars or countries gave you

55:4121 trillion dollars which is totally false and all of these things that happen donald

55:45trump like say during my first term i rebuilt the military which he didn't even

55:49rebuild the military what the hell are you talking about and in my second term

55:55the first year of this second regime of donald trump he screwed up all the

1:00:07At this point, it's a very, very leaky faucet, in my opinion.

1:00:11These are just the first drips because there's internal sourcing that goes into all of

1:00:15this type of stuff, all this type of reporting.

1:00:17This is just the first shoe to drop here.

1:00:20We've seen it throughout this term in general, but I think as we get closer

1:00:24and closer to 28, this is going to become more of the norm.

1:00:27More stories like these coming out from the inner circle, as at least his internal

1:00:32team and staffers try and figure out what's next for them.

1:00:36I got to say, you know, it's been interesting because the first few months of

1:00:40Trump's second term, he actually held the cabinet and held his people together a little

1:00:48bit. It was a lot less leaky than during his first term.

1:00:52There weren't as many firings.

1:00:53There was some semblance that he had a bit of control of that, right?

1:00:59And also, Trump has this thing now, especially now, where he doesn't want to, and

1:01:05I've heard his, I've heard people from his team use this term where they don't

1:01:10want to give the media a scalp is what they call it, right?

1:01:13The media is coming for somebody on their team, even if it is completely legitimate,

1:01:18even if the person is abdicating their duty, using drugs, extramarital affairs, drinking, whatever it

1:01:27is. They don't want to give the media a win, so to speak.

1:01:31Like, that is the worst sin for Donald Trump, not that behavior.

1:01:35So Trump either has to figure out a way to do it where he's not,

1:01:39where in his head he could spin it as he's doing it on his own.

1:01:42It's not to give the media a win or he just doesn't end up firing

1:01:46these people who are just wholly incompetent and have no, no, no reason at all

1:01:51to be in these jobs.

1:01:53And so he usually has to launder it through a source by him, like on

1:01:58his team, so to speak, in order to be able to justify it.

1:02:02And I think you saw that at those congressional hearings a few weeks back with

1:02:05that Senator John Kennedy. John Kennedy, who talks in this kind of bizarre, whimsical way.

1:02:11He's actually like a very smart guy, but he plays an idiot.

1:02:15And when he was questioning Kristi Noem, it felt very much like he was questioning

1:02:20Kristi Noem in order to get the sound bites from her that Donald Trump actually

1:02:26needed to get rid of her.

1:02:27And I feel like that's how they do all of this stuff, right?

1:02:30If the Atlantic writes an article about Kash Patel and makes allegations against Kash Patel,

1:02:36Donald Trump is not inclined to act on that because he doesn't want to give

1:02:40the Atlantic. He doesn't want to give the liberal press, so to speak, a win,

1:02:45right? But if he could get a Breitbart reporter or a Fox reporter or a

1:02:49Republican in Congress to catch somebody in a certain statement, then he's built his own

1:02:55justification for it that he's doing it on his terms.

1:02:58It's another one of those weird psychological things that you kind of have to watch

1:03:02that Trump does and something he's doing differently this term compared to his previous one.

1:03:06Could you imagine, though, any FBI director filing a defamation lawsuit because their feelings or

1:03:16reputation purportedly was harmed by a media outlet?

1:03:19Like, regardless of even what the allegations are, while you are the acting FBI director,

1:03:27other than the attorney general, you're the top law enforcement person in the United States

1:03:33and you're running the Federal Bureau of Investigations, a sprawling organization that is kind of

1:03:41the pinnacle of law enforcement power.

1:03:43And people say all different things, whether you're Merrick Garland or Christopher Wray when Christopher

1:03:49Wray was the FBI director or, you know, Comey or whoever.

1:03:54But while you are running this sprawling organization, you believe your reputation and I'm not

1:04:01setting it aside, the allegations just to get to the point where you're like, you

1:04:05know what, I'm going to call a civil plaintiff's lawyer firm and file a defamation

1:04:10lawsuit and make stories about me suing.

1:04:13And now I'm going to be a litigant and I'm going to have to deal

1:04:16with discovery and I'm going to have to deal with document requests and I'm going

1:04:21to have to deal with the trial.

1:04:22Like, what if, what if the Atlantic, rather than filing a motion to dismiss and

1:04:28then having like a protracted year long battle over the legal issues of the defamation

1:04:34case and the actual malice standard and times versus Sullivan and all of these first

1:04:39amendment issues and then cash Patel files amended complaints and drags it on like when

1:04:44Donald Trump files all of his defamation claims.

1:04:47What if the Atlantic says, you know what, let's just do a trial, let's just

1:04:51do an expedited trial cash.

1:04:52I want your deposition. I'm going to take your discovery.

1:04:55I'm going to take discovery of your girlfriend.

1:04:58I'm going to take discovery of all of the people around you.

1:05:01I want to see receipts.

1:05:03I want to see where you've been.

1:05:04I want your credit cards.

1:05:06I want your cat. You know, I'm going to subpoena the various clubs that the

1:05:11article says that he was at.

1:05:12Like I'm going to do all of that and we'll do a trial.

1:05:15And then what there's going to be a three week trial potentially with the FBI

1:05:19director while there's. like actual, like, I mean, it's not a, here's the thing too,

1:05:25like, and look, the allegations against cash are bad and they're disturbing and all of

1:05:30that. But set that aside, think about a broader issue.

1:05:35You're supposed to be a public servant.

1:05:38You're supposed to be doing public service.

1:05:42Okay. You're supposed to be making sacrifices for the people, a servant for the public.

1:05:50Like that's what it means to be a politician.

1:05:52Well, you should be. That's why I always say on this network, stop gamifying these

1:05:56politics. Stop exalting the personalities of these policies.

1:06:00These are supposed to be public servants who work for us.

1:06:04You're not supposed to be in the winter Olympics, making the men's gold medal hockey

1:06:10about you holding up a beer can.

1:06:12What if the Atlantic in discovery, ask Cash Patel the following questions.

1:06:18Admit that you said that while you were in the Olympics in Italy, you were

1:06:22on duty and you were there for work.

1:06:24Admit or deny. What's he going to say?

1:06:27Oh, the statements that they put out were that he was there for work.

1:06:30Admit. Admit that while you were working in Italy, you went into the locker room

1:06:36with the hockey team and you started to drink beer.

1:06:40Admit or deny. Admit. Admit that it would be a violation of FBI protocol for

1:06:44other positions to be drinking on the job in any situation.

1:06:49Admit or deny. Just take that one instance.

1:06:52Like you remove every other allegation.

1:06:54Just take the one that was public.

1:06:56Admit or deny that it would be against what was he going to say?

1:06:59Deny? You know, you're going to say, you know, admit, admit that that was broadcast

1:07:04to millions of people. Admit or deny.

1:07:06Admit. Okay. So then if you're representing the Atlantic, setting aside any other aspect, you

1:07:13would say, how could we have acted with actual malice in anything if he's on

1:07:17videotape doing that and look at his admissions?

1:07:20And then he's going to have to testify to those things at a trial.

1:07:22So imagine if the Atlantic just said, you know what, we want a trial.

1:07:26And now we have an FBI director who should be focused on protecting against terrorism,

1:07:32investigating, you know, child predators and, and, and finding the next Epsteins out there.

1:07:38Like you should be focused on all of these issues that are happening.

1:07:41And he's so focused on like himself and the girlfriend's country music career.

1:07:46It's like, stop it. This is stop trying to be famous and celebrity.

1:07:50This should be about the people going to Lori Chavez de Reber.

1:07:54It's like, you know, from all the stories, she's out in Vegas.

1:07:57She's going, and these are the allegations partying in Vegas, going to strip clubs, you

1:08:02know, you know, partying, you know, drinking, booze -fueled office.

1:08:09Affairs with staffers. What'd you say?

1:08:12Affair with a staffer. Affair with a staffer.

1:08:15Your husband's accused of sexual misconduct inside the building, you know, with something like, what

1:08:20the hell is going on?

1:08:22You're supposed to be the labor secretary.

1:08:24Your job is to help unions, help workers.

1:08:28And we know that manufacturing jobs have suffered.

1:08:31We know that there have been job law.

1:08:33Trump's been the worst for jobs.

1:08:35Your job isn't, you know, your job isn't to go out there and like party.

1:08:39And, you know, it's like RFK Jr.

1:08:41doing these like weird videos, like with milk mustaches, with his shirt off and Kid

1:08:46Rock. It's like, what are you doing?

1:08:48You're supposed to be the health secretary.

1:08:50People are out there dying.

1:08:51And not only are you spreading anti -vax messages, but you're out there like shirt

1:08:56off. What do you think this is supposed to be the government?

1:08:59And this should shock our conscience.

1:09:02And I think because our media has been so broken because of the proliferation of

1:09:09social media and these algorithms and all these things, you know, there's been this idea

1:09:15that politics is this reality show.

1:09:17And so the person who leads this warped dystopian reality show is a reality show

1:09:23guy in Donald Trump. The transportation secretary is a reality show guy, you know, who's

1:09:28on the real world road rule challenge.

1:09:30These are all people who want to be famous and never made it in Hollywood.

1:09:35And they're out, Dr. Oz and this one and that one, you know, who are

1:09:38out there like, what are you doing like this?

1:09:40We have to just, again, deconstruct this conscious, shocking environment and ecosystem.

1:09:47And say, snap the hell out of this mass psychosis.

1:09:51And let's remember what the hell government is supposed to do.

1:09:54It's supposed to be by the people for the people.

1:09:57It's supposed to deliver. It's supposed to give people health care, not rip it away.

1:10:01It's supposed to help people get better education.

1:10:03It's supposed to help people afford homes.

1:10:05It's supposed to be there to protect people and make life better and more affordable.

1:10:09It's supposed to uplift and protect, not bully marginalized communities.

1:10:13That's what government's supposed to be.

1:10:15It's not supposed to be this dystopian reality show of strip clubs and drinking and

1:10:20all of this other crap out there.

1:10:22That's not what government's supposed to be.

1:10:23It's not supposed to be oddity and weird.

1:10:26Oh, can you believe it?

1:10:27So I don't want it to be that way.

1:10:28I want it to be.

1:10:29What did you help do to find more housing?

1:10:32What did you do to help more people get health care?

1:10:34You know, one of the things we saw with Lori Chavez Darima right away, which

1:10:38was, you know, we, we covered in depth was at her confirmation hearing, you know,

1:10:42before she was the labor secretary, she was supposed to be a moderate Republican Congress

1:10:47member from Oregon, where she said she supported union, she supported labor.

1:10:52And, you know, and so that was her big thing that she supports the pro

1:10:56act, which is a piece of legislation, which protects unions from all of these hostile

1:11:01acts by big corporations. And so the idea that you had this moderate Republican from

1:11:07Oregon who supports the pro act, that's how she branded herself.

1:11:11But like all of these Trump people, it's phony.

1:11:13They're all phony. Remember during her, we can talk about all the salacious stuff and

1:11:18the, then the, this and the, that, and the strip clubs and the Vegas vacations

1:11:22and the husband, all these allegations.

1:11:24And to be clear, she denies the allegations for what it's worth, but her top

1:11:27staffers also resigned during this investigation regard, by the way, the inspector general who Trump

1:11:33hired was a MAGA Republican Congress member who was also involved in like extramarital affair

1:11:38allegations as well. So there's all of that.

1:11:40But this was at her confirmation hearing back in February, 2025, when Rand Paul asked

1:11:45her, so do you no longer support the pro act, the important legislation for unions?

1:11:51And watch what she does over here.

1:12:20should be protected. Pro act will overturn that.

1:12:28Oregon's fifth district, but I also signed on to the pro act because I wanted

1:12:33to be at that table and have those conversations.

1:12:34But I fully fairly and support states who want to protect.

1:12:38their right to work. I have said that to every senator that I have visited.

1:12:42So you no longer support the aspect of the PRO Act that would have overturned

1:12:45state right to work laws?

1:12:47Yeah. There were so many parts.

1:12:48That's a yes? Yes. There.

1:12:50Yes, sir. No more questions.

1:12:56Thank you, Senator. Right there.

1:12:59That's a moment where she sold her soul.

1:13:01And we know she did before then, but you saw the moment.

1:13:04Basically, you can literally see it.

1:13:06I don't know if she had one to begin with, but it came out of

1:13:09her. Boom. IMAGA. So she goes from that to then she did the Trump cabinet

1:13:13meetings where she would make Kim Jong -un proud.

1:13:46That's what government is supposed to be.

1:13:49I remember when Donald Trump was picking his cabinet members and he selected Lori Chavez

1:13:54Dreamer. I remember saying to you, because I try to judge everything objectively.

1:13:59I, of course, have my personal opinions.

1:14:01And I think Donald Trump is a incredibly destructive force, not only to the country,

1:14:06but to the entire world.

1:14:07But when he was picking his cabinet, I try to keep an open mind on

1:14:09an individual basis person. Is this person actually qualified for this position at least?

1:14:14And when I heard her name and I was looking her up, I was like,

1:14:17oh, she voted for the PRO Act.

1:14:19She actually seems like a pretty normal person who might actually be good in this

1:14:23role. And Ben said, watch your testimony.

1:14:27And I said, why? He said, watch what she said about the PRO Act during

1:14:30her testimony. I said, well, she voted for it.

1:14:32And Ben said, well, she's against it now.

1:14:34I was like, well, how can you be, how can you say you're pro labor

1:14:36and not, not, not before this?

1:14:38I, all these people always show their cards and they're chameleons.

1:14:42They really don't believe anything.

1:14:44Like what the hell, by the way, is Tulsi Gabbard doing right now, right?

1:14:48Tulsi Gabbard and Ms. Anti -war, you know, in the past had gone after Donald

1:14:53Trump, uh, for Iran, for saber rattling, saber rattling with Iran for any sort of

1:15:01foreign entanglements. Uh, but now she's singing a different tune.

1:15:04Well, she's not really saying much, but what she's doing now is she's kind of

1:15:07being quiet and she's doing Donald Trump's dirty work, um, in order to try to,

1:15:12uh, build this kind of phony case, uh, for, uh, Donald Trump to say that

1:15:17the 2020 election was stolen and to give him more justification to try to prevent

1:15:21people from voting in the midterms and future elections.

1:15:24Like that's what she's focused on right now.

1:15:26And so I think all the people who you see in this administration, they all

1:15:30kind of fit into a similar pathology, a similar psychology.

1:15:35They all are kind of like want, they all want to be famous.

1:15:38They all really don't have any sort of moral core or moral beliefs.

1:15:43It's all whatever is going to benefit them at the moment.

1:15:46And in this case, it's all whatever, uh, you know, Donald Trump wants is, is

1:15:49what they're going to do and nothing else really matters.

1:15:52And that's a dangerous place to be in, uh, in a democratic government.

1:15:55It's a, it's a dangerous place to be at the small D democratic governments.

1:15:58And it's a dangerous place to, you know, to, to, to be in, in a

1:16:01country, especially when things get serious, when we're in matters of life or death, when

1:16:05we're dealing with matters of war or peace.

1:16:08Um, and that's where we find ourselves right now.

1:16:10Um, you know, at, at the hands of a reality reality show, TV host, who

1:16:15unfortunately the reaper. percussions of the show that he thinks he's putting on are far

1:16:20too real for the Americans who are suffering right now, whether it's from high prices,

1:16:26whether it's from the war, you name it.

1:16:31This is getting very, very, very real, and you can't escape the reality at a

1:16:36certain point. Donald Trump could try to make his own alternative facts and try to

1:16:41will things into existence, but when you're on a collision course with reality, that doesn't

1:16:46end well. Absolutely, and like the saddest part for me, Brett, to your point about

1:16:51how dangerous this is for our society, is just like this country could be so

1:16:56good, like it genuinely could be.

1:16:58There are enough smart people, there are enough people who actually love this country to

1:17:02want to make this country perform as best as it can perform, to work for

1:17:07the people as best as it can work for the people and not work for

1:17:11Donald Trump and his ilk.

1:17:13Look, when Donald Trump's cabinet, when he says to jump, they say, how high?

1:17:18You say, oh, we used to have this belief.

1:17:20Now that now Trump says no.

1:17:22Now you believe this. They go, okay, sir.

1:17:24Yes, sir. And that's just what I always come back to.

1:17:26It's like just so pathetic from these Trump regime cabinet members, all of these people

1:17:30that they just pledge allegiance, not to this country, but to Donald Trump.

1:17:36Their one goal in this administration is to help make him look good or just

1:17:42to do his bidding, right?

1:17:43I'm not saying that they're doing a good job at making him look good, but

1:17:46I'm just saying that's their whole goal for anything that they do is how will

1:17:51this reflect Donald Trump? How can this impact and make his life better him, Donald

1:17:56Trump, the reality star, the guy who bankrupt the casinos and countless businesses, him, Donald

1:18:00Trump, it is so beyond the pale to me because again, this country at its

1:18:06best could be so high powering.

1:18:08If all of our elected officials actually wanted to work for the American people, if

1:18:12they wanted to dig in and figure out a sustainable healthcare plan, if they wanted

1:18:15to dig in and understand affordability for housing, for the countless of Americans across this

1:18:20country. If they wanted to dig in and figure out, Hey, how can we make

1:18:23sure that no one's going hungry in the society?

1:18:25Or how can we figure out that there are no homeless folks?

1:18:28How can we figure out the mental health crisis that's just ravaging our society?

1:18:32We could do that. Genuinely, we could figure that out if people wanted to actually

1:18:38work that are in government for this country and not to serve some person and

1:18:45only that person. It's upsetting to me and frustrating because to me, it is that

1:18:50simple. To me, there are so many good people in this country that actually want

1:18:54to do the good thing, but the system right now is so upside down, topsy

1:18:59-turvy that it only ends up benefiting people like Donald Trump.

1:19:03It is so disheartening to me, but I truly believe like the folks in this

1:19:07community and the Midas Mighty and the pro -democracy community that we could get there,

1:19:11that we can be that high -powered, high -functioning society that I can only aspire

1:19:17that we reach to one day because people are truly fed up and that they're

1:19:22seeing through all of this BS more so than they ever have before.

1:19:26And the megaphones and then the microphones are pointed towards independent media exposing all of

1:19:32this BS and all of this corruption on a daily, daily, hourly, minutely basis.

1:19:37And we've all had enough.

1:19:38And so we just have to ask ourselves, do we want to live in the

1:19:41society where Donald Trump and his ill continue to benefit and they're not working for

1:19:45the American people or any peer person in government isn't working for the American people,

1:19:48or do we want to live in a society that actually benefits us all?

1:19:51Benji. I never want to hear again that we don't have enough.

1:19:55money for this, that, or the other, okay?

1:19:58They're trying to do $1 .5 trillion for the defense budget right now, $200, $300

1:20:05billion for ICE and Border Patrol, Gestapo, hundreds of millions of dollars, not from private

1:20:12funds, but from public funds for so -called White House renovations.

1:20:16And if you go and look down the list of hundreds of millions of dollars

1:20:21for Trump golfing and all of this stuff, and so I never want to hear,

1:20:25oh, we don't have enough money for healthcare.

1:20:27We don't have enough money for them.

1:20:28We don't have enough money for them.

1:20:29I never want to hear a MAGA Republic go, I'm a fiscal hawk.

1:20:32I'm a deficit. No, you're not.

1:20:33You're a fraud. You are a fraud.

1:20:36You are crooked as hell, and you hate this country, and you hate people, and

1:20:41you live a miserable existence, and your entire life's work is to cause pain and

1:20:46to hurt other people so you could do the bidding of right -wing oligarchs.

1:20:51It's despicable. That's all I got.

1:20:52I'll leave on that high positive note right there.
