2:29Second hour of Clay and Buck kicks off right now, and something, Clay, I thought

2:34was really interesting. This New York Post report on, you see this?

2:41The CIA used a futuristic new tool called the Ghost Murmur to find and rescue

2:46the second American airman who was shot down in southern Iran, according to the New

2:50York Post here. Secret technology uses long -range quantum magnetometry to find the electromagnetic fingerprint

2:58of a human heartbeat and pairs the data with artificial intelligence software to isolate the

3:06signature from background noise. Again, according to the New York Post here.

3:11So, by the way, I wasn't even good at high school geometry, so this is

3:20not what I had nothing to do with any of this kind of stuff in

3:23the military -industrial complex in the agency.

3:26But just even reading that, and they're saying that Director Ratcliffe of the agency and

3:30President Trump alluded to it in the White House briefing on this.

3:34So, you know, they're feeling pretty confident in their reporting.

3:37Clay, I mean, that's, just reading that's like, wow.

3:41Yeah. I've never heard of it.

3:42Obviously, if it's never been used before, I've never heard of this before.

3:44I have no idea. So, here, I was optimistic in the first hour about straight

3:50-up, whore moves, everything else.

3:52This is something I'm actually pessimistic about, if you want me to go negative on

3:56this. I spend a lot of time thinking about what the world is going to

4:02be like. And it may happen sooner than we even think, when individual bad actors

4:08have access to drones that can be weaponized and are able to just send drones

4:18to blow things up. In other words, like, a lot of this audience has guns

4:23to protect our homes, right?

4:25Have weaponry, fences, all these different things to try to make us safer inside of

4:32our homes. Some people even have armed security, that is, patrolling homes, all these different

4:36things. Have you sat around and thought about, as we look at what's happening with

4:42Ukraine, where basically Ukraine -Russia is a drone war?

4:46We'll take some calls on this, but one issue on the Strait of Hormuz is,

4:51one weaponized drone, which can be deployed by one individual, can blow up an entire

4:57tanker ship. At some point in time, bad guys are going to get access to

5:02this drone technology, and I fear they're just going to be able to bomb random

5:07people's houses. In other words, right now, you're concerned an armed robber might show up

5:12at your house with a gun, and you're trying to think about ways to defend

5:16yourself. What happens at 2 a .m.

5:19when somebody just loads up a drone with a bomb and just flies it at

5:23your house because they don't like you?

5:25This is one of the things that I worry about, because I think the technology

5:28is moving so rapidly, Buck, that it's inevitable that individual bad actors are going to

5:34get access to these weaponized drones and start to use them with impunity.

5:38That is scary to me.

5:41Yeah, the cartels have been doing this for some time.

5:43They've used drones, the Mexican drug cartels.

5:45They've used drones for not just surveillance, but even to drop grenades, drop explosives on

5:51targets, enemies, law enforcement, whomever.

5:53We are not far from a – well, the technology already exists.

5:59It's just a question of how long before you start to see – because these

6:03drones are also going to get to the point where they have an autonomous flying

6:09and movement capability. So you could essentially set the target, and then it just goes

6:15and finds the person. That's where we're heading.

6:47It's a variant of the Hellfire missile.

6:52It's called the Flying Ginsu, the AGM -114R9X, a non -explosive missile projectile that essentially

7:04has six sword -like blades.

7:07Swords because they are big and long, sword -like blades that come out, and, you

7:14know, it's messy. But in a sense, it's less messy because no collateral damage, but

7:20you wouldn't want to get hit by one of these things.

7:22That is for sure. But, yes, the technology that is being deployed here is very

7:27real. But, anyway, that New York Post story I just thought was particularly interesting because

7:30there's – people ask me, I mean, I've been out.

7:33I've been out of the covert world for 15 years now.

7:38It's going to be 15 years I've been doing media this June.

7:40So they got all kinds of new whiz -bangs.

7:42I never even heard of some of this.

7:43Obviously, this – no one, to my knowledge, who isn't currently active and working on

7:48this technology in the government would have had any idea about this because it's brand

7:52new. But the other thing is the Majuro thing, which they admitted to, which was

7:59essentially a sonic weapon to disable all of – people ask me, they're like, oh,

8:04man, do you know about this?

8:05I was like, no. This is crazy.

8:07This is new stuff. Never heard about it before.

8:10But technology on the battlefield, guys, it's going to advance so rapidly, and it's going

8:14to change so much. And we are – you're already seeing some of this stuff

8:19in the early phase that is going to become ubiquitous, and, you know, this is

8:26– we're entering a whole new era of warfare that will be very – I

8:32think we're at the – I can put it this way, Clay.

8:34I think we're about to enter an era of warfare with the biggest transformation in

8:41how battles are fought since the early days of gunpowder.

8:46I think we're entering – That's a pretty bold – that's a bold prediction.

8:49Well, because we're going to have – we already do it, so you could argue

8:54we're already kind of there.

8:55You're going to have, on ground, air, and sea, non -human combatants making real -time

9:03decisions, not just on where they go, but on who and what they target using

9:08artificial technology and satellite -based communication so that they can't be jammed or interfered with.

9:14I mean, this is – you're talking about – my friend, we're talking about robot

9:18armies here. We are on the edge of robot army stuff in a way that

9:23– you know, you say, okay, we don't have humanoid robots yet.

9:27Have you guys seen some of the stuff that is coming out from even, you

9:32know, Elon's companies? Now, he's not making Terminator – what is it, the T -800?

9:37Was that the original? The T -1000 was the alloy metal thing, right?

9:44But the T -800, I think, was the original Terminator.

9:47He's not making that. He's making nice little robots that are going to fold your

9:50laundry. But if a robot can fold your laundry and it can, you know, make

9:56decisions, it can also shoot a gun.

9:58And basically, I know we haven't talked about the Ukraine situation in some time, but

10:04effectively, Ukraine seems to have created enough drones, and Russia certainly has got them too,

10:13that we have reached some form of equilibrium.

10:16Now, we're coming out of winter, so the roads are getting better, and we'll see

10:20what happens in the spring -summer.

10:22But basically, the lines are not moving very much because if you leave, much like

10:27back in the olden days, for those of you who remember and have studied at

10:31all World War I, like you put your head above a trench and you were

10:35done for, and so it became almost impossible to move in many ways, that's kind

10:40of what's happened with drones now, where if humans come out in any way and

10:44try to advance, the drones are coming.

10:45It's not other humans taking them out.

10:48But we got a lot of talkbacks.

10:49We'll start with this one because you wanted to hit this a while back, and

10:52it is probably the number one.

10:53question we are getting and uh it is uh it has to do with what

10:58we were just talking about which is the larger drone issues many of you have

11:02been asking a version of this question which is what tom in oklahoma city cut

11:08f is asking if we destroyed their military how is it they're still able to

11:14try to shut down the straighter uh removed i don't understand how that's working tom

11:20it's a very good question we have essentially annihilated their navy like their navy they've

11:28got very little left it's also it's hard to hide big boats right so they've

11:32got very little left um they've got very little air defense although not none as

11:38we've seen i mentioned the manpads and i think there were actually sam sites that

11:42uh people are i have to go back and read the reporting on i think

11:45it was a combination of manpad and sam site is a surface -to -air missile

11:48uh manpad is the shoulder -fired rocket so they still have those and they still

11:55have a over half million person standing army we haven't killed a half a million

12:01iranian soldiers thank god because that would be that's a lot of people to kill

12:04uh we haven't done that so they have their ground force is very much intact

12:10which is what we would have to contend with even if we were going to

12:13land on the shore of the of the iranian by the way all this stuff

12:18it is helpful to pull up a map for some of this stuff so you

12:20can see you know you got you got the strait of hormuz and you got

12:23you know the saudis are on one side of this body of water the iranians

12:27then you got the iraqis the kuwaitis i mean this is this is for the

12:31oil world about a strategic uh piece of real estate or a piece of uh

12:36waterway as you could possibly find but so clay the answer to our friend's question

12:40here is we've really destroyed their air force surface -to -air their ballistic missiles their

12:46navy they got a lot of guys with kalashnikovs and uh and you know rpgs

12:51and stuff running around still so think about that for an invasion why we don't

12:55want to do that and it doesn't take much for whatever they've got to fire

13:00from shore and blow up a tanker it's easy to do even if you're decimated

13:03militarily which is why the question that i think we were having in the first

13:07hour is to what extent does the iranian leadership have the ability to curtail individual

13:15actors from making choices inside of iran and this was pete hegseth in his press

13:20conference this morning saying hey there's still some missiles and drones being shot off and

13:25i think iran's response is well we don't have great communication infrastructure so we're having

13:30difficulty reaching uh everybody inside of the iranian defense and saying hey we've got a

13:36ceasefire going on right now it's also possible and this is where i think it

13:40becomes really messy it's also possible buck that we have several different factions competing for

13:48power inside of iran and there isn't any real leader that has the ability to

13:53control the actions inside of the country but the easy answer i think for the

13:57for the caller there or the talk backer is it it takes very little to

14:03blow up in uh a oil tanker and if you are an owner your private

14:09industry and you own an oil tank what do you think an oil tanker is

14:13worth on the market 80 million dollars 90 million dollars oh at least i mean

14:17full full of oil yeah i gotta think but i mean just the physical structure

14:21of like you know you're running constantly oil on the oil tanker but if you

14:26are the business that let's just say it's a hundred million dollar asset it turns

14:30into risk analysis right what are the percentage chances that something could happen to your

14:35ship and as we talked about a lot on this program the one thing you

14:39don't want to be transporting if suddenly you have flame or if you have an

14:43explosion and missiles you know when missiles are flying at you and you're on a

14:46virtual sea of oil that's rough it's a rough place to be um podcast listener

14:52clint e from north carolina hit it clay you're gonna have to take that microphone

14:56away from buck uh he's gonna have my 401k two and a half percent down

15:01instead of two and a half percent up by the end of the day very

15:04funny it's fair it's a fair point fair point i'm i'm not uh i'm not

15:08sort of bullish on well no i i think trump's gonna walk i think this

15:12is gonna end up in negotiations i just think that when people are assessing the

15:16success of this longer term it's going to be more of a challenge but we'll

15:20see we'll see but i i don't think we're going to have a continuous blow

15:23them up come back to the table blow them up come back to the table

15:27you're going to just like i said give it two weeks we might blow up

15:31some stuff and then there'll be an agreement to talk again and this agreement will

15:35go for a month or two and you know this that's that's what i see

15:37happen we're going to keep talking and talking and the iranians will not concede on

15:41the key points that's where i think this is all heading um tom from oklahoma

15:45city oh no i'm sorry we already did that one uh h kenneth from melbourne

15:50florida clay you're twisting yourself in knots trying to make your point bottom line buck

15:58is right look we asked them to open the straits and let the ships through

16:04that obviously means we cannot open it they control it clay your your floor my

16:13floor is look at them i mean like the floor is yours yeah yeah yeah

16:17no no yeah i'm taking the floor look at the map we could Once they

16:22come out of the Strait of Hormuz and we have allowed Iranian oil and gas

16:26because we want Iranian oil and gas on the marketplace.

16:30So if like this whole idea of control, if we want to stop as the

16:35United States, all ships from being able to come out of the Strait of Hormuz,

16:40including Iran, we 100 percent can do that.

16:43Iran is saying they control the Strait of Hormuz because they are crazy enough to

16:49just blow ships up. If we wanted to blow ships up, we could, quote, control

16:53the Strait of Hormuz. We don't want to do that.

16:55We want global commerce to be able to exist.

16:58So it's control is just they're crazy enough to blow up ships and we're not

17:04willing to do so. So, again, if we just said, hey, Iran, you're not going

17:08to be able to sell your oil and gas.

17:10My argument is the ultimate trump card, which is obviously well played in this context,

17:15is that we can just say, hey, Strait of Hormuz is closed.

17:19Like we actually have the ability to close it.

17:21What Iran has the ability to do is levy enough risk such that rational business

17:27owners say, I'm not going to risk my hundred million dollar boat.

17:30Let's just say it's a hundred million dollar boat to try to get this oil

17:33and gas out to say nothing of the potential loss of lives.

17:36And by the way, a lot of crewmen may be sitting back there saying, you

17:40know, Buck, I'd prefer that we don't risk whether or not we're going to get

17:43blown up going through the Strait of Hormuz, too.

17:45These are rational human actors and Iran is playing on their rational human fear.

22:50We got a ton of talk backs, big story in the New York times.

22:55Uh, we shared it about the decision to go to war with Iran and how

23:00it was made. I thought the first of all is actually really well written.

23:05We said earlier that it reads with a sense of truth to it.

23:08Very specific detailed. We can talk about this maybe a little bit when we come

23:12back. JD Vance, very clear in the article, Buck, that he did not want to

23:17do this and that he advised the president against striking Iran.

23:23I'm surprised that's not getting more attention right now in the media.

23:27Um, because I thought it was super interesting.

23:31Everybody else did not want to give as aggressive of opinions.

23:36It sounded like they were just trying to analyze the larger world.

23:39We'll talk about that. What it, what, what it might mean, particularly as JD is

23:45right now, one of the lead negotiators, uh, on this ceasefire to see whether or

23:50not we can get an official peace agreement, uh, underway.

23:54In the meantime, born on America's darkest day of nine 11, 25 years ago, the

24:48We are joined by Florida Senator Rick Scott with us.

24:53Now the great state of Florida and Senator, not only do you have a full

24:58time, do you hear that New York state tax authorities, a full time Florida resident

25:02here with me, you've got a part -time Florida resident with clay.

25:06So a lot of love for the sunshine state.

25:08Thank you for being here with us.

25:10Uh, let's first get into this because the big news of the day is the

25:13ceasefire. You, you come from, I mean, not only do you have the Senate to

25:17draw upon for all of this, of course, but you come from a business background.

25:20You've done plenty of negotiating yourself.

25:23How do you feel about this ceasefire and what do you think comes next?

25:29Well, first off, you have to really admire Donald Trump.

25:32Um, the guy, the guy is a deal doer.

25:35Um, and he, you know, you should listen to what he tells you.

25:38I mean, he clearly wants to get rid of the nuclear weapons, which I'm very

25:42appreciative because I love my family.

25:44Uh, I don't want them killed by nuclear weapons.

25:46And I think every family should be thinking that way in America.

25:49Thank God that this president cares about us and wants to save her and save

25:52our lives. Uh, and what in the hell was Obama doing and, um, and Biden

25:56doing. So, uh, and he also wants to get rid of the ballistic missiles.

25:59And so I think, I think it's great.

26:01I hope, uh, Iran smart, uh, and they, they keep it going.

26:06The Democrats are completely insane.

26:10Um, I mean, they, they say, Oh, we got to, you know, they want to

26:12impeach Trump, uh, because, you know, he is holding Iran accountable.

26:17So think about it. If these same Democrats were in office, Sherman wouldn't have, you

26:21know, gone through the South because by then, you know, Lincoln would be impeached and

26:24Roosevelt sure as heck wouldn't have restored the infrastructure in Germany because he had been

26:28impeached and Truman wouldn't have dropped the bomb because he'd already been impeached.

26:32So these, I mean, these Democrats are defending Aitola, Hamas.

26:37Uh, I mean, they're in my, you know, close to Florida.

26:40They're out, they're down in Cuba defending a horrible regime.

26:44Um, they're defending the Iranian regime that killed, what, 30 some thousand people just in,

26:49uh, January. So it's, um, but Trump's doing the right thing.

26:53I'm very optimistic that this is going to last.

26:56Um, it's in it, but if it doesn't, I mean, I wouldn't play with Trump.

27:00Um, if, um, if they, if they don't do their part, don't live up to

27:04their part of the market, you know, all hell is going to break loose.

27:08Um, you can, if you, have you seen that chart of all the leadership of

27:11Iran that's been destroyed? Uh, so, so.

27:16I don't think there's anybody for Putin to call anymore.

27:18We're talking to Florida Senator Rick Scott.

27:22You're up for re -election, if I'm not mistaken, this November.

27:26You don't know your opponent yet, but you're also high up in overall Senate leadership.

27:32Let's talk about the big picture here.

27:34I was just on Fox News talking about the situation in Michigan.

27:37Mike Rogers is going to be the nominee there.

27:40New Hampshire also and Georgia are potential pickups.

27:44And then you have battlegrounds coming in North Carolina, in Maine, Ohio, others.

27:50What do you expect for the fall to look like?

27:53And how optimistic or pessimistic are you about the larger state maps?

27:59I think Republicans are going to do well as long as we have something to

28:03run on. Trump's given us a lot to run on.

28:06I mean, if you look at what he's done, trying to bring, you know, before

28:11they ran thing, but they'll come back down, oil prices down, the cost of living

28:15down, support our law enforcement, support our military.

28:18So Republicans are the party that we care about your job, we care about your

28:23kids' education, we care about public safety.

28:25And the Democrats are clearly the party that doesn't care about jobs, doesn't care about

28:29your kids' education, and doesn't care about public safety.

28:32So that should be our message.

28:33And if it does, I think we're going to do well.

28:35But we've got to get our votes out.

28:37Susan Collins has got a race in Maine.

28:39Houston's got a race in Ohio.

28:40Mike Rogers has got a race in Michigan.

28:42Watley's got a race in North Carolina.

28:44Solomon's got a race in Alaska.

28:46So, you know, and we've got to pick up opportunity possibly in New Hampshire with

28:50Sununu, pick up opportunity, you know, hopefully to beat Ossoff in Georgia.

28:53So we've just got to raise our money, have our message, bust our butts every

28:58day. You work every day to get your, you know, to get your votes out,

29:03every, every, every day. So if we do, I think we're going to have a

29:06good fall. Well, let's certainly hope so, because we all know, Senator, you've probably just

29:11seen this popping up in your news feed.

29:13They're already talking impeachment, these Democrats in the House.

29:16They're already talking crazy stuff.

29:18And I, do you think that, I'm just going to put this out to you.

29:22Do you think that the president is going to have to give preemptive pardons to

29:26some members of his cabinet if, just in case a Democrat were to win, because

29:31they're so hell -bent on some kind of payback?

29:34I worry. The Democrat psyche has been so damaged by Trump.

29:39Go ahead, Senator. Yeah, I agree.

29:41I mean, it's just Trump derangement syndrome.

29:44They don't care about this country.

29:47Or you saw it in the State of the Union when Trump asked, stand up

29:50if you think your first job is to protect Americans and rather than an illegal

29:53alien. And not one Democrat stood up for that.

29:58So the, I don't think even Fetterman stood up for that.

30:02So the, so I don't know what will happen.

30:05We got, we just, the bottom line is we cannot lose.

30:08We have got to, we've got to do it.

30:11We got to keep a majority in the House and Senate if, if they get

30:14the House and I assume they're going to impeach a lot of people and we're

30:18going to have to deal with it in the Senate.

30:20But Trump's, I mean, Trump's doing it.

30:22I mean, what's fascinating is if you care about this country, you have to thank

30:27Trump. You know, you might say, oh gosh, I wish he, I wish his rhetoric

30:31wasn't that. But guess what?

30:32He scares the hell out of people.

30:33I mean, look at what he's done.

30:35Look at, look, we got, we have a chance for democracy and, um, and Venezuela

30:39with, with Maduro out. It looks like we got a big opportunity in Cuba.

30:45Um, you look at, look at what he's trying to broker peace around the world.

30:48And we, if, if we can, if he can pull off what he's going to

30:50pull off in Iran, it completely changes the Middle East.

30:53And guess what? Russia and China don't have an ally in the Middle East anymore

30:57because I mean, they, you know, it's all transactional.

31:00And Iran just is their friend because they all hate America.

31:04Um, you represent a state that has a huge Venezuelan and a huge Cuban population.

31:10You just mentioned both. President may well have asked you, certainly a colleague of yours,

31:16Marco Rubio, a secretary of state who you know very well.

31:19Uh, let, let, let's go to Cuba.

31:22What to you should happen in Cuba?

31:24What would you advise the president as a senator representing the state with more expat

31:30Cubans than any in the country?

31:31What should we do with Cuba?

31:33How should we handle it?

31:34What should the future look like there?

31:37We, we, you know, first off, we all have to realize Diaz -Canal is not

31:41the leader. The only leader is Raul Castro.

31:44Uh, Raul Castro needs to be indicted.

31:46And the first step is I would indict Raul Castro and then I would arrest

31:50him. Right. Uh, cause he's actually the leader of Cuba.

31:54Diaz -Canal is not the leader.

31:55Next, I would make sure the regime has nothing.

31:58They have no dollars. They have no Petro and they have nothing.

32:03Um, just in the last two weeks, Democrats have gone down to Cuba to prop

32:07up a regime that kills its own citizens.

32:10That puts them in prison as young as 16.

32:12There's a little 16 year old is in prison and they go down there with

32:15a guy that is living on faith.

32:17It says that I should be killed.

32:19He goes on TV, a radio and says, Rick Scott, you need to go kill

32:23Rick Scott. Uh, so the, this is, these are disgusting people that don't care about

32:28people. Like I asked, why didn't you go down and ask them, you know, talk

32:31to the political prisoners, what they see, ask them what it's like.

32:35Um, so, but I'm, I'm hopeful if Trump keeps doing what he's doing, I think

32:40the regime is going to fall.

32:41I think the people of Cuba are going to rise up.

32:44They've been they've been protesting.

32:46So I think they will rise up and take over and and pick the government

32:50they want, not the government that that, you know, they would lie to by Fidel

32:54Castro. Speaking to Senator Rick Scott of Florida, Senator, how are we doing with the

33:02judge? This is something that is always in the background of my mind, because I

33:07think it is one of those parts of an administration that is super important, but

33:11doesn't always get much attention to headlines because it's an ongoing thing.

33:15Although the possibility of a Supreme Court vacancy will certainly get attention if that happens.

33:20How are we doing with the judge confirmation machinery in the Senate?

33:24As you see, it is Trump getting judges on the federal court in the numbers

33:29that he needs to to basically rebuild some aspects of our judiciary towards sanity after

33:36the Biden years. Well, he's getting the ones done in red states, but we have

33:41the blue slip process when the blue slip process was not to stop judges or

33:46U .S. attorneys or U .S.

33:48marshals. And that's what the Democrats are using it as.

33:50So we already have had to change the rules on nominations because they were blocking

33:56all the nominations. So that would change last year.

33:58And if they keep doing what they're going to do, you know, with whether we

34:01have to get rid of the filibuster.

34:03We get rid of the blue slip process because he won whether the Democrats would

34:08like it. He is the president.

34:10He gets to make nominations.

34:12Right. That's that's the way this works.

34:15And if it's somebody that we think is inappropriate, that we can decide not to

34:17vote for him. But but the Democrats are trying to use every mechanism to prevent

34:23any success by Trump. They want the economy to be horrible.

34:26They've the Democrats wanting to lose in Iran.

34:28They hate our country. All they want to do is beat Trump because they don't

34:32care about the Democrats don't care about Americans.

34:35They just care about Trump failing and they get back in power.

34:38That's all they think about is how how do how do they get back in

34:42power? That's all. It's all Schumer thinks about.

34:45Jeffries thinks about Democrats. All they think about is power, power, power.

34:49There is a report coming out of Caroline Levitt, J .D.

34:52Vance, Witkoff and Kushner are headed to Pakistan to have face to face meetings with

34:57representatives of Iran to try and figure out what could take place during this ceasefire.

35:04What does victory to you look like, Senator?

35:07Buck and I debated what should happen, what could happen if the president were to

35:11ask you, Senator Scott, what should I be my red line, so to speak?

35:17What is victory at this point in Iran?

35:20What does that look like?

35:21You would say what? But the minimum for him, which I agree with, the minimum

35:25for him is that they have no ability to build a nuclear weapon, no ability

35:30to build ballistic missiles. We've taken all the enriched uranium out of the country and

35:36we control it. That's the absolute minimum.

35:40Now, on top of that, it's hard to believe they'll stop helping Saudis and Hamas

35:46and Hezbollah unless we've destroyed their economy.

35:49So either they have to have no economy or they have to have new leadership

35:53because we cannot allow them to have a future president give them like Obama did,

35:58gave them billions of dollars.

35:59So they can go try to kill more Americans because they've been killing Americans, you

36:04know, for what, 47 years.

36:06So but the minimum is no nuclear weapons, no ability and no ballistic missiles and

36:11no ability to do it.

36:12That's that's the bare minimum.

36:15Do you think we'll get there?

36:16Do you think the Iranians will agree to this?

36:19I think I think, yeah, I think they will, because I think they if you

36:25look at what the American military has done, I mean, it's unbelievable what what what

36:31we've done. So I think that that if I and just look at the chart

36:38of the people that have been killed from the leadership and that's problem primarily been

36:43done by the Israelis. But if you're if you're sitting there and you know, most

36:47people are not interested in dying.

36:49That's been my experience in life.

36:51So you look at that.

36:52You look at the org chart and say, oh, I'm next if I don't change.

36:57So I think that they're going to change.

37:00But, you know, I mean, I'm an internal optimist, but I wouldn't be on the

37:02opposite side of Trump right now.

37:04I would never be on the opposite side of Trump.

37:06I think the guy the guy is willing to go make the tough choices to

37:10protect us. For people out there who maybe just aren't thinking about it, there's lots

37:15of talk about the House.

37:16The Senate, we think, is far more impactful.

37:20Buck mentioned judges. There's the possibility of Supreme Court vacancies.

37:25For people out there that are maybe not paying attention to it, what's the difference?

37:30You've been in both between being on the majority side and the minority side in

37:34the Senate. Well, if you're in minority, you don't get to decide what you vote

37:39on. That's number one. Number two, you know, none there's so there's nothing you're going

37:45to that you want to get done.

37:47Like we've been busting our butt to get the Save America Act done.

37:50There's no way. I mean, look, I'm going to keep fighting for that.

37:52But if the Democrats control it, no, they want fraud.

37:56There's no there's no way we'll get a vote on it.

37:58It's hard enough when we're the majority.

38:00But but I mean, there's nothing that would be good for for Americans that will

38:05happen. It will be the Democrats.

38:07What they want to do is destroy this country.

38:09They want to bankrupt this country.

38:10They want to make. Everything woke.

38:13They hate law enforcement. They hate our military.

38:16So if you love our country, there's no way in the world you can vote

38:19for a Democrat. So we have to have a majority, and we need to have

38:23a majority in both the House and the Senate.

38:25And we should. We have stuff to run on.

38:28Now, we've got a lot of work left to do, but we have got to

38:30get this done. Now, I've come out saying we've got to get rid of the

38:34filibuster because what Democrats are doing is they're used— the filibuster is always supposed to

38:38be used to stop debate.

38:40But you get to debate, but eventually you shut up and you go vote.

38:45They're using it to say, you know, you never get a vote.

38:47That was never the way the filibuster was supposed to be set up.

38:50And so we—I think we're going to have—if we want to have something wrong in

38:56November, we're going to have to say to ourselves, finally, you know, all this obstructionist

39:01stuff by the Democrats, we're tired of it.

39:03We're going to—you know, we gave them a chance.

39:05They want to work with us.

39:06So we're going to—now we're going to go get rid of the filibuster.

39:09We're going to, you know, unfortunately, you know, get rid of things that were supposed

39:13to be, you know, useful.

39:16Like, I'm—you know, I try to work with the Biden administration on judges, right, instead

39:20of saying no. I just—because all I cared about is give me a judge that's

39:23not going to create the law.

39:25That's all I cared about.

39:26When I was governor of Florida, I appointed 407 judges.

39:28That's the only thing I care about.

39:30You are not—you don't get to legislate.

39:33Legislature does. Democrats, so—but Democrats, they want to block everything Trump wants to get done.
