Trump Stunned Into Silence as US Rejects His Ploy
4/27/202620 mincomplete
0:00Donald Trump has gone silent as Americans have rejected his ploy to try to use
0:07the White House Correspondents' Dinner Incident to pursue his political goals of dividing the country
0:14and for him to build a golden ballroom and try to ban No Kings protest.
0:21The American people are finally standing up to all of this gaslighting and pushing back
0:27as Donald Trump and his corporate news sycophants try to say, oh, now this is
0:33a moment where we need unity around Donald Trump.
0:36No, there's a reason why Donald Trump's approval is at 33 percent and his approval
0:42on the economy is at 30 percent, which is worse than Nixon's at the time
0:47that Nixon resigned. Donald Trump's last post was from yesterday.
0:53That's how silent he's going when he said that he wants to change the name
0:58of ICE too nice and call it National Immigration and Custom Enforcement.
1:04So the media has to say nice agents all day, every day.
1:08And when a random social media account named Alyssa Marie 11 posted that, Donald Trump
1:15says, great idea. Do it as though at Alyssa Marie 11 was a member of
1:21Congress or the United States Senate.
1:23This is how pathetic Donald Trump is.
1:25But that's been his last post.
1:27He did that bizarre 60 minutes interview where he was like, I'm not a pedo.
1:32I'm not a pedo. It was very, very strange.
1:34And in Donald Trump's silence, you see all of the MAGA sycophants trying to say,
1:39OK, we need a ballroom boss.
1:41We need a ballroom boss.
1:43And Melania is speaking out in Donald Trump's silence.
1:46And she's posting attacks this morning at Jimmy Kimmel.
1:51Melania Trump just posted. Kimmel's hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country.
1:57His monologue about my family isn't comedy.
2:01His words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.
2:06By the way, it looks like AI wrote this for her.
2:08But in any event, people like Kimmel shouldn't have the opportunity to enter our homes
2:13each evening to spread hate.
2:15A coward Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover
2:21to protect him. Enough is enough.
2:24It is time for ABC to take a stand.
2:27How many times will ABC's leadership enable Kimmel's atrocious behavior at the expense of our
2:34community? Folks, I kid you not, that is not parody.
2:38That is a real message posted by the first lady.
2:42I can't even believe I'm calling her that this morning.
2:46You know, yesterday was her birthday.
2:47Should also be noted, Donald Trump refused to wish her a happy birthday, or at
2:52least didn't wish her a happy birthday publicly.
2:55But who did wish her a happy birthday is a guy who wanted to start
2:58a modeling agency with Jeffrey Epstein, the man who introduced Melania to Donald Trump in
3:041998, Paolo Zampoli, whose former girlfriend, Amanda Angara, who they share a child with, is
3:12out there saying she has all the dirt on Zampoli and all the dirt on
3:16Melania. And she's been out there giving interviews drip by drip, releasing info on Zampoli
3:22and Melania. But Zampoli I really wish Melania a happy birthday with this.
3:27Weird Mount Rushmore tribute of Melania's face on all of the areas of Mount Rushmore,
3:34replacing all of the president's faces.
3:36And then an AI video as well of Melania with the child, I believe, of
3:41Zampoli and Angaro, who's the subject of the child custody dispute.
3:46And as you know, Zampoli is a United States ambassador for cultural affairs.
3:52This is the Trump regime for you.
3:54So as noted in Donald Trump's silence, these MAGA sycophants, these members of Congress and
3:59senators one by one are like, we need a ballroom, we need a ballroom.
4:03I mean, these idiots think that they can hijack the news cycle and that the
4:08American people are like, you know what we need to focus on right now with
4:11all of the issues? The ballroom, yeah, let's make this news cycle about the ballroom.
4:15Like you do realize that when you pursue this transparent gaslighting strategy, you just make
4:23us all more pissed off.
4:24Democrats, independents, Republicans, people who aren't from any political party at all doesn't even matter.
4:31This behavior right here is why people just utterly despise you because we know inflation
4:36is surging. People can't afford things.
4:38People can't afford rent. People are psychologically tortured.
4:41We know we're in a jobs recession right now.
4:44We know that you all are looting from everybody else for your right -wing billionaire
4:48friends, but this is what they're doing on state regime media.
4:51This is how the MAGA Republicans are spending their day today.
4:55MAGA Republican Congress member Pat Fallon says, certainly we need a ballroom.
5:00Play this clip. Certainly the White House ballroom is a great argument.
5:05That's something that they can completely control.
5:07They can have events there and you don't have hotel guests checking in with weapons.
5:11And apparently from what I've been told and heard that they weren't even checking baggage
5:18for folks that were checking the hotel that day, Dana.
5:21And that is very problematic.
5:23Then you have MAGA Republican Congress member Warren Davidson.
5:27Here's what he had to say.
5:29Here, play this clip. We have essentially our whole chain of command in one place.
5:35So people say, well, that's a lot of vulnerability.
5:38Well, in a way, but it's also a flex.
5:40It's saying, you know, Iran, there's really nothing you can do about it.
5:42Here's shed tears, whatever, but you can't influence things in the United States.
5:47To the extent someone could, you had a guy, a lone gunman come running through
5:50a security perimeter. And the way to think about this, I think, is at the
5:54airport when you first go in, well, you don't have security right there.
5:58You have to go to the counter, drop your luggage off, all that.
6:00Once you reach the magnetometers and the security people, you run past that, how far
6:06can you get into the airport?
6:08This is obviously a much more secure place than the airport.
6:11Next up, you had MAGA Republican Congress member, Michael Rulli.
6:16Here's what he had to say.
6:18Let's play it. What needs to be done now?
6:21I think we got to build that ballroom as soon as possible.
6:23We can't have functions like this on things that aren't secure.
6:27You know, anybody that's been to the White House in the last several years, you're
6:30about four or five blocks away from the public.
6:32You go through a series of checkpoints to make sure that only the proper people
6:36inside the White House. And now we're seeing that we're having functions and look at
6:39all the things that are coming up with 250.
6:41Then you had MAGA Republican Congress member from New York, Mike Lawler.
6:45Here's what he had to say.
6:46When you go to the White House, you need ID, you need to be on
6:49a pre -approved list. You cannot just walk in.
6:53Obviously, everybody goes through magnetometers before you even get on site.
6:57And, you know, that protocol needs to be applied, especially when you have the president
7:03at a major event like this.
7:06Especially after now three assassination attempts.
7:09So yes, a ballroom is imperative for a lot of reasons.
7:14I mean, look at tomorrow night, we're going to have a state dinner in a
7:17tent on the South Lawn.
7:19It's absurd. Next, you had MAGA Republican Congress member Mike Johnson.
7:23Are you getting the trend here?
7:26Earplay this clip. On the opposite, they've incited violence in my view.
7:30I mean, you have some of the most prominent figures in the House and the
7:33Senate on the Democrat side effectively calling for war.
7:39I mean, they use those kinds of metaphors.
7:41And it incites violence because there are crazy people in society.
7:45And they get radicalized online.
7:47And so we've got to recognize that.
7:49It's time to turn down the rhetoric.
7:51We've been saying this over and over and not use that kind of language.
7:54I hope that this will be a sobering reminder for everybody about that very important
7:58cause. I'm grateful to Fetterman.
7:59He's right. The ballroom will be a solution for this because it'll be on the
8:04most secure compound in the world.
8:06It won't have hotel rooms above it and it'll have seven inch thick glass, for
8:10example, on the windows. So it'll be a very safe environment to do events like
8:13this. We need a place.
8:14We have needed a place like that.
8:16And the president keeps pointing it out.
8:17And you've got MAGA Republican Congress member Rick Scott.
8:20Here's what he had to say.
8:22Play this clip. Democrats are going to have to decide we want a safe country.
8:27Look, I might completely disagree with the presidency of Obama and Biden.
8:31I didn't want them murdered.
8:33Democrats won't even call out these people for who they are.
8:36They want President Trump. They want people.
8:39Republicans murdered all across this country.
8:41Capitalists murdered. This has got to change.
8:43Democrats are going to have to start acting like individuals that want safety for all
8:48Americans. Fund Homeland Security. We have people dying because of illegal aliens.
8:52They don't care. I mean, I've got a picture.
8:54These are four young women killed by illegal aliens.
8:57If you're heading into summer without a medical emergency kit, you're taking a risk that
9:01most people don't think about until it's too late.
9:04Summer colds linger and can turn into sinus infections that last for weeks.
9:08Getting sick right before vacation can derail everything.
9:11And when you're traveling, finding a doctor in pharmacy is stressful.
9:15That's why I ordered a medical emergency kit.
9:18It's like having urgent care and a pharmacy right at home.
9:21It includes essential prescriptions like amoxicillin and generic Z -Pak to treat a wide range
9:27of common and serious illnesses.
9:28So if you wake up sick at home or on the road, you already have
9:33what you need. No waiting for your doctor, no hours at urgent care, no pharmacy
9:37lines, no co -pays. Just match your symptoms to the right prescription in your guidebook
9:42or call the telemedicine doctor standing by.
9:45Start on your meds sooner and feel better faster.
9:48Every home needs at least one medical emergency kit.
9:51Order yours online in minutes and it's shipped to your door and save $45 with
9:56my promo code Midas at urgent care kit .com slash Midas.
10:01That's promo code Midas at urgent care kit .com slash Midas.
10:06Then you've got MAGA Republican Congress member Scott Perry.
10:10Here's what he had to say.
10:11And let's be clear about this.
10:13This is all born out of rhetoric from the left, the Democrat party in particular
10:18that calls President Trump a threat to democracy.
10:21They call him and the people around him things like Nazis.
10:25People react to those kinds of things.
10:27There's a consequence to that kind of rhetoric.
10:30And you see one side using it.
10:32You see one side essentially in a hot war.
10:36And when they don't get their way, their way, when they don't like things, they
10:40unfortunately, as they have done in the past, resort to violence.
10:43MAGA Republican Congress. member Tom Emmer.
10:46Here's what he had to say.
10:47You saw how calm the president was throughout.
10:51He he came out after, said he wanted to come back and finish the speech
10:55because he doesn't want these lunatics, these anti -American freedom of speech people literally trying
11:02to disrupt our lives. He he's not going to let them win, which is why
11:06he wanted to come right back and finish his speech.
11:09And then on the the tone of the speech, look, Joe, this president has had
11:13more assassination attempts, I think, than any other that we know of.
11:17One, he knows that it was divine intervention is the cash Patel.
11:22Here's what he had to say.
11:24I mean, just remind everyone, this was almost the entirety of the president's cabinet, the
11:29president, vice president himself and 2000 members of the media.
11:34This is something the movies don't even write about something like this.
11:37This kind of scenario, this kind of tragedy.
11:39And thankfully, the quick reaction of law enforcement, we're not going to be we're going
11:42to be able to present to the world in less than 36 hours, almost exactly
11:47what happened. This individual's entire background, entire background, who he knew, where he lived, who
11:53he was talking to, everything about the firearms, everything about the ballistics.
11:57And folks, Tom Emmer wants you to know, wants you to know that even though
12:02all of the polling shows that the American people do not support Donald Trump's unlawful
12:07and catastrophic war in Iran, even though Donald Trump's approval is worse than Nixon's, Tom
12:13Emmer is hearing from certain people who say they like everything.
12:17And he wants you to know that.
12:18Play this clip. The situation in Iran, we keep waiting for some kind of deal
12:23to be had. Obviously, Wyckoff and Kushner did not go over there.
12:27Now there's essentially some plan, Axios has reported, has been put out by the Iranians
12:33about something around how the strait will be managed.
12:38What do you think is sort of an answer that is acceptable to the American
12:42people? Well, the American people, contrary to the polling that I see, I'm getting all
12:49kinds of positive feedback about what our president has done.
12:52Finally, someone has addressed the organization, Iran, that has killed more Americans than any terrorist
13:00group on the face of the planet.
13:02And all previous presidents have done is kick this can down the road.
13:06This president is dealing with it.
13:07Folks, the reason I showed you clip by clip, because the Republicans get their talking
13:13points. Right now, Donald Trump doesn't know what to do because he's running around flailing
13:18in the Oval Office right now, panicking, maybe throwing ketchup against the wall.
13:22Who the hell even knows, right?
13:24They get their talking points.
13:26The right -wing influencers get the talking points.
13:28And then they use their billion -dollar, many cases, if you probably add it all,
13:34trillion -dollar media networks and arms.
13:37If you add up all the social media entities they control as well, to ram
13:41this down your throat and say, I want a ballroom, give a ballroom, give dear
13:45leader a ballroom. It's basically the identical script that they're all using.
13:50Turn to a second, though.
13:52As Donald Trump has gone silent, what's going on in the international arena, which is
13:58critical to the coverage that we do here on the Midas Touch Network in Germany,
14:03Friedrich Merz, the chancellor of Germany, was speaking at, I believe, an elementary school today.
14:09And he said, the United States has been utterly humiliated under Donald Trump by Iran.
14:15Iran is humiliating Donald Trump.
14:18He says this whole affair is ill -considered.
14:22Trump has no strategy. The Iranians are negotiating skillfully while Trump is winging it.
14:28And it's a humiliation to the United States with no way out.
14:33Here's what Merit says. Listen.
14:35Here's what Frederick Merit says.
14:37Listen to it for yourself.
14:38Here, play this clip. It is quite obvious that the Americans have absolutely no coherent
14:44strategy whatsoever. And the fundamental problem with these kinds of conflicts is always the same.
14:49It is not enough to simply get yourself in.
14:51You must also figure out how to get yourself out again.
14:53We witnessed that reality quite painfully in Afghanistan over the course of 20 long years.
14:58We saw the exact same thing happen in Iraq.
15:00So this entire situation is, as I have mentioned previously, at the very least, it
15:06was ill considered. And I really do not see at this present moment, which one
15:11you mean, what strategic exit the Americans are choosing now, especially since the Iranians are
15:18obviously negotiating very skillfully or for that matter, very skillfully not negotiating and making the
15:27Americans travel to Islamabad and then letting them leave again empty handed.
15:31A whole nation is being humiliated there by the Iranian leadership, especially by these so
15:39-called revolutionary gods. As Europeans, we have also extended an offer stating that we are
15:45prepared to assist in ensuring that the Strait of Hormuz is reopened, just as soon
15:49as these hostilities have finally come to an end.
15:52Furthermore, we have offered to dispatch specialized minesweepers from Germany to clear that vital strait
15:57of all its mines. After all, it has quite obviously been mined, at least in
16:03some significant part. Well, we could certainly do something about that.
16:06But first of all, the fighting has to come to a complete and total stop.
16:10And right now, I honestly do not see how that is even remotely achievable in
16:15the short term, because the Iranians are proving to be much stronger than we had
16:18initially thought. And the Americans clearly do not have a truly convincing or coherent strategy
16:24for these negotiations either. I truly hate to have to say this, but I'm afraid
16:30it is a rather complicated and difficult situation at this moment.
16:34Next up, you never know what's going to happen with the glasses on the show.
16:37Next up, you have Foreign Minister Aragji, who's over there in Russia right now, meeting
16:45with Sergei Lavrov, meeting with Putin, meeting with all of the Russian dignitaries.
16:53Here he is right now.
16:54You see the photos over here with Lavrov, with Putin, you see over there.
17:00It's important to note that this was part of his pre -planned three -country visit.
17:05He visited Oman, he visited Pakistan, and he's visiting Russia.
17:10And here's what he had to say about Russia right now.
17:12So while Donald Trump has invited Russia to the G20, as Trump is sucking up
17:16to Russia, here's what Aragji is saying while in Russia meeting with Putin.
17:21Iran and Russia are strategic partners.
17:24Russia has always supported us, and we have always supported Russia.
17:29Our cooperation will continue. Iran has great friends and allies such as Russia.
17:35The entire world has observed Iran's true power in confronting America.
17:41And it has become clear that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a stable, steadfast,
17:47and powerful system. Putin then responded and said, the people of Iran are fighting with
17:52courage and valor to preserve their sovereignty.
17:55He expressed hope that the Iranian nation would overcome this difficult period and peace would
18:01be established. The president of Russia emphasized Putin said that Moscow will do everything in
18:06its power to help Iran out.
18:10And this is who Donald Trump invites to Alaska, who invites to the G20.
18:15So while Donald Trump's out there saying all these things about Iran, Iran's right there
18:20with Russia saying not the quiet part out loud, the out loud part out louder.
18:26They're saying it louder. Finally, I'm going to do a whole other video on this
18:30today. It's probably the next video I'm going to do.
18:33Maybe my glasses won't fall off.
18:35Midas Touch host and legal analyst Katie Fang filed a federal lawsuit against the Trump
18:40regime today against Donald Trump and the U .S.
18:42Department of Justice, accusing it of brazen violations of the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
18:47The suit says how the Department of Justice missed deadlines, over -redacted documents with held
18:52key records tied to Epstein, including references to Donald Trump.
18:56And Fang is asking the court to order full disclosure to remove the unlawful redactions
19:01and appoint a special master to oversee compliance, arguing the DOJ's actions undermine transparency and
19:09the public's right to know.
19:10An honor to have Katie Fang as a member of the Midas Touch Network.

19:30be entitled to. Great work, Katie Fang.
