3:19Known as Bold Patriot Babe on the Instagram and X and all the other places
3:23where she is putting up her commentary.
3:26Savannah, welcome to the podcast.
3:29Appreciate you being here. And tell us, how did you get into this?
3:34I always find this is, before we talk about the news of the day, maybe
3:37talk some Iran stuff, the legacy of Charlie Kirk, Gen Z, where they're standing and
3:41all this. Tell me about how you did this or how you got into it.
3:47Yeah, absolutely. Well, thanks again for having me on.
3:49Really, my background's kind of unique.
3:50Nothing flashy at all. When people ask, what's your background?
3:53I'm like, really? I'm just a homeschooler from Kentucky.
3:55Nothing big. I actually grew up in a Christian conservative household.
3:59My parents always instilled those values into me.
4:01The biggest thing they wanted to make sure me and my brother knew was the
4:03importance of how to think versus what to think in a society that's pushing that
4:07at such a high degree.
4:08And they actually know the founder of the company that I'm now partnered with and
4:12I'm an ambassador for. His name is Joe Marwitz.
4:15He started Defender Gear. It is a patriotic clothing brand.
4:18They both have clothing, but they also stand for the mission of wanting to teach
4:22the next generation to appreciate America, to appreciate our values and our freedoms, and to
4:27pass on the passion for conservatism to the next generation.
4:30And at the time, he just needed a model.
4:31So I actually ended up passing that and I was excited to really just be
4:35able to embody what I stood for from a clothing perspective, which ended up leading
4:39to further opportunities. And now I do a lot of his content creation and do
4:43a lot of speaking for Gen Z.
4:46Oh, that's very, very cool.
4:48I have to say, I always like to hear that people kind of just got
4:52into things because it aligned with their values and their beliefs.
4:56Question about the homeschooling, if I can, before.
4:58I'm just so curious about this.
4:59I have a little 11 -month -old boy and everyone's already talking my ear off.
5:03I live in Miami, Miami Beach, and everyone's always talking my ear off about the
5:08schools and like how he's got to get in.
5:10And I look at them and I don't really get into this with people around
5:13here, but I kind of want to say, I don't know, I think I might
5:15want to figure out my own thing for my son here.
5:18And by the way, I went to what would be considered, I think, fancy schools
5:21growing up and for college and stuff.
5:23And I don't think it's all.
5:24that it's cracked up to be i don't know talk to me about the homeschooling
5:27thing a little bit i honestly loved it i feel like everybody kind of has
5:31that stereotype of homeschoolers of wow they don't know how to like socialize or really
5:35talk to people but that's not true i mean i feel like there's so much
5:38opportunities parents have to be actually to actually like instill the education that they want
5:42their kids to have 100 they're in control of it but it was kind of
5:45cool i got cut i got two different aspects of it so i was homeschooled
5:48but i went to a co -op we found a really good like christian conservative
5:51co -op there in kentucky where i was able to attend two days a week
5:54but my parents got to choose the classes that i took and all the other
5:57classes they did at one time there they taught me at home so it's a
6:00pretty neat opportunity yeah that sounds really cool to me i think that increasingly i
6:05mean i know this for for sure my family in new york city and the
6:09new york city public school system is uh incredibly bloated and wasteful and ineffective and
6:15bad and so then you have to go to a private school which is wildly
6:17expensive now in places like new york city i just we need to figure out
6:20better options and to me homeschooling getting a pod together or co -op as you
6:24said these these things also make a lot of sense um all right you're very
6:27fired up about gen z keeping the mission of charlie kirk going and being uh
6:34passionate conservatives uh what are you seeing on the front lines of gen z i
6:39mean i'm an old millennial got some gray in my beard i'm a gray beard
6:43millennial but gen z you guys actually by the numbers by polling there's some hope
6:48for conservatism for this country going forward yeah no there's definitely lots of hope for
6:54conservatism and i really do think it started with charlie kirk i didn't know who
6:58he even was honestly until 2021 he actually came to speak at uk's campus there
7:03in kentucky and a friend invited me out it was during his gen free tour
7:06and he was encouraging my generation that hey even though you're young you have a
7:10voice and i never heard anybody say that before because i always knew i was
7:13young but i was like what impact can i actually make or what can i
7:16really do for our country even if it is on a small scale that was
7:19the first time i heard of him but since then since he started getting really
7:22popular in 2020 2021 time frame you've seen him do progressively a lot i mean
7:27trump getting in office i feel like was a big part due to his impact
7:30with gen z so i feel like gen z overall is on the uptick because
7:34of the impact he made and because he really did instill into us the importance
7:37of not just being told and going with what the media says but actually questioning
7:41everything no it's a super important lesson for for especially i think kids in college
7:47these days that they are being indoctrinated and there's a lot of propaganda that they
7:52consume just as part of their course load as part of the culture on campus
7:55um and you know i i actually just wrote a book about dealing with some
7:59of this stuff with the mind control tactics out there and uh transgenderism for example
8:05this didn't really even when i was in school which i will tell you was
8:08like 20 something years ago now when i was in on on college campus the
8:12trans issue was not an issue really at all you really didn't hear about it
8:16and in recent years i know it's become so big that friends of mine like
8:21riley gains who go on camp and who i know also did turning point events
8:24would go on campus to talk about it they had to they had well obviously
8:28charlie was assassinated uh but there are threats of physical violence against women who go
8:33on campus to talk about women getting to only compete against women in sports like
8:37that's how powerful the propaganda is yeah no it's really it's really powerful really popular
8:43and like you said i was actually going to ask you about that because really
8:47i don't know if it's because i was a homeschooler i'm like i really didn't
8:49even hear the word transgenderism until 2021 2022 that's when it became like i don't
8:55know popular to be woke i guess you can say but prior to that i
8:59feel like i never heard about it and and society today might like wants it
9:03to look like that there's so many more people that identify as woke or so
9:07many more people that identify under the transgenderism movement than there actually is like i
9:12looked up a stat recently only 1 .3 of the united states people in the
9:17united states identify as transgender but they want you to think it's like half of
9:20the united states and it's not true it's a very small and even i think
9:23that 1 .3 is probably uh probably smaller than that yeah i think so it's
9:28key people who are non -binary and so some of it's just people who want
9:32right it has nothing to do with like even having the belief of transgenderism but
9:35our sponsor for uh for this segment by the way is birch gold group uh
9:39for those of us who have purchased gold in previous years in investment feeling pretty
9:42smart right now gold was up 65 last year if you're saying well buck that's
9:46just one year well gold is up over 700 over the last 20 years so
9:51forward -thinking americans have been for a long time now successfully diversifying a portion of
9:56their savings into precious metals like gold and birch gold group is who i trust
10:00that's who can help you get this done too see if holding gold in a
10:04tax sheltered retirement account is right for you birch gold group can help you convert
10:07an existing ira or 401k to an ira in gold just text my name buck
10:13to 98 98 98 receive your free info kit on gold no obligation just useful
10:17information text buck to 98 98 98 text b -u -c -k to 98 98
10:2398 how are you feeling about trump at this stage of the game a lot
10:27of people are starting to at least chirp a little complaining online about the situation
10:30in iran where are you on this and where would you say your your peers
10:34are your fellow gen z conservatives i feel like gen z as a whole especially
10:39like the circles i run in kind of like you said you're hearing mixed things
10:42some people are extremely excited about everything that's going on other people are skeptical and
10:46questioning things it's one of those i can definitely see both perspectives i'm very happy
10:50about the border security because We saw the millions and millions of undocumented illegal immigrants
10:55that came in under the Biden administration, and that's caused a lot of concerns for
10:58safety for a lot of people and a lot of families in everyday life.
11:01So I love how seriously he is taking that when it's come to border security,
11:05when it's come just to overall safety of our cities and being more considered about
11:10all the crime and stuff that's going on.
11:11He's done a number for that that Biden never could have even touched.
11:15So I'm very, very happy about that.
11:16I know Gen Z does have a lot of concern just about as far as
11:19the war goes. But, you know, he did promise us no forever wars.
11:23And I don't think this is going to be one of those.
11:25It is ongoing from what he's been saying recently.
11:27It's probably going to come to a close soon.
11:28Do you have any particular feelings about Joe Kent resigning as national counterterrorism director?
11:34You see that letter he put out?
11:35He was saying this is because basically Trump is bending the knee to Israel.
11:40I was a little surprised that I know Joe a little bit.
11:43I've interviewed him a few times.
11:45Special forces vet, impressive guy, impressive career, lost his wife.
11:48She died. She was killed in action in Syria, serving there alongside special operations.
11:55And now I'm just I'm seeing all these people come out to say kind of
11:59trash him, saying that he was a leaker and that he was leaking classified even
12:03and all this stuff. And I'm like, guys, I feel like we need to be
12:06able to have policy discussions without the politics of personal destruction happening on the right.
12:12I'm a little surprised by all this thing.
12:13Things are getting a little messy out there, Savannah.
12:16On the right, people are getting a little nasty.
12:18Yeah, a little bit. And I feel like a lot of that does have to
12:21do with social media, because I've noticed with my generation, especially we don't really just
12:26listen to the news like not many people in my generation.
12:28I feel like nowadays sit down and listen to the news.
12:30They go fully to social media like the algorithm is fully influencing Gen Z and
12:35how they think and what they believe now more than ever.
12:37So as soon as you see like one little controversial thing, they're going to take
12:40that and run with it.
12:42Yeah, it seems like people there's more infighting among people on the right among conservatives
12:48than I've seen in a long time.
12:49There's even saying some pretty crazy stuff about each other publicly, which I won't get
12:52into here. But there's a lot of a lot of this happening.
12:56Meanwhile, Trump, it feels like he's very he feels very on mission with all of
13:02this. He's saying this is MAGA.
13:03This is necessary for the country.
13:05It's making us all safer.
13:06You know, I think a lot more will be known about this in the days
13:11ahead. Right now, as I talk to you, there's reporting out there that there's all
13:15this concern about ground troops being used in Iran, our ground troops being used in
13:18Iran. I don't I don't see that happening.
13:20I would be shocked if that happened, but we'll have to see.

13:57America's wireless company. Savannah, are you married?
14:00You got kids? What situation?
14:02I actually just got married in December.
14:04So yeah, just got married.
14:06Very freshly married. Yeah. Congratulations.
14:08That is so cool. Thank you.
14:10That is so cool. That is great.
14:11How'd you and your husband meet?
14:13We actually met through this business arena we're in outside of our traditional job.
14:16So my parents are entrepreneurs.
14:18They're in the e -commerce space.
14:19And my dad was actually his coach and mentor in business and introduced us.
14:23So started off by being friends for a few years, ended up to developing more.
14:27So here we are now.
14:28Oh, that's fantastic. Congratulations. I've been married a few years myself.
14:31I got a little baby.
14:32I'm just going to say, I'm sure everyone's telling you this.
14:34Don't wait too long to start having the kids on the earlier side, you know,
14:38unsolicited advice, but I'm just telling you, uh, I know you're a young lady, but
14:42like this, I have so many friends who put off having the kids until they're
14:46in their like mid thirties.
14:48They've been married five years, you know, I'm like, yeah, not going to do that.
14:52Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That that's a, you, you want to have a kid.
14:54The baby is so fun, honestly.
14:56Like I'm, as soon as I'm done here with you in the podcast, I'm going
14:58to hang out with my, uh, I want to say one year old.
15:01He's technically 11 month old, but, uh, he's like absolutely the best part of my
15:05day. It's just getting to crawl around the ground with him and we play like
15:08with blocks and stuff and it's really fantastic.
15:10So I highly recommend, uh, so we, sorry, we cover a lot here.
15:14We go from like Iran homeschooling to Iran to playing blocks with the babies.
15:19Uh, you know, all these things, very, very good.
15:22Um, the brother, did you ever get involved in turning point stuff yourself or do
15:25you just appreciate the work they were doing?
15:28I just appreciate the work they were doing.
15:30I really like, I followed Charlie with all he did for years and watched a
15:33lot of his things. I never personally was involved in a chapter.
15:36I know people who are, and you know, they love being able to carry on
15:39his legacy in that manner, but I never personally was.
15:41I've just been using social media as the platform to really use my voice.
15:44We need, we need more Gen Z like you though, to come out and get
15:47on social media and people look, there's only so much that a guy I'm in
15:51my forties, right? A guy in his forties, it's a young men.
15:55I think it's easier, but like, you know, you're getting young women.
15:57No, they want to hear from their peers.
15:59And I, I understand that.
16:00I get it. I respect it.
16:01So please encourage more like you to get out there.
16:05I mean, I just saw your content and that's, I was like, you know what?
16:07I think, I think she's got something to say.
16:08People should, should hear. And I think that we need those voices because what we
16:11don't want is what I, when I grew up, if you were cool, you were,
16:15you know, when I was growing up, I should say in, in things like, um,
16:19Twitter and the, early days even.
16:21It's like if you were cool, you were liberal.
16:22You were Democrat, right? And that was just the expectation among all these people.
16:26And I was this weirdo.
16:27I was like this freak that was like, I kind of like America and like
16:32capitalism. And it's like, that's not cool at all.
16:36Now, actually, the whole coolness thing has shifted, has changed.
16:40And I think a lot of people recognize that patriotism, that traditional values, that loving
16:45families, loving God, these things are actually the coolest you know, I know that that
16:52would have been mocked not long ago by our culture, but I think people are
16:55seeing that more and more.
16:56So you can be an important voice in that process.
16:59And Savannah, I appreciate you making the time today.
17:02Where should people go to follow your content and check out what you're up to?
17:06Follow me at Bold Patriot, babe.
17:08And I also want to put a little bit of plug in for your book.
17:09I've been reading Manufacturing Delusion recently.
17:12I'm only at the beginning of it, but I wish I had that back.
17:15I wish I had a book like that back in 2020 when all the mass
17:17hysteria was going on with COVID and everything.
17:20As I'm reading through it, I'm like, wow, you're literally seeing right there.
17:23Yep, right there. Thank you.
17:25You're seeing how social pressure would you tell some of your Gen Z content creators
17:30and friends to get the book too?
17:32And, you know, spread the word among I got a lot of people in their
17:3540s, 50s and 60s reading the book.
17:37I could use some people in their 20s reading it.
17:39So get them to check out Manufacturing Delusion.
17:40Absolutely. I'm going to endorse it.
17:42I'm going to tell by following because it's very insightful and everybody needs to know
17:45about it. Please do. Please do.
17:46Savannah, great to see you.
17:47Thanks so much. Thanks so much.
17:49Have a good one. Come on.
