0:02Guaranteed human. ABC Wednesdays. The Emmy -winning comedy Scrubs is all new.
0:09This is a whole new chapter for me.
0:10No more sad sack. That's what I'm talking about.
0:13I want both of our sacks to be fun.
0:15You two idiots are perfect for each other.
0:17From executive producers of Ted Lasso and Shrinking.
0:19We were all a part of this victory.
0:21Now get those nachos out of the preemie warmer.
0:25Nachos! Feels like there's more applause for the nachos than my speech.
0:28The new season of Scrubs.
0:30Wednesdays, 8, 7 central on ABC.
0:32And stream on Hulu. Welcome to today's edition of the Clay Travis and Buck Suxton
0:38Show Podcast. Alright, third hour of Clay and Buck kicks off right now.
0:43Thanks for being here everybody.
0:44And a couple things. Some news items to discuss with you.
0:48We're going to hang out for three hours.
0:50We've got to make sure we're all up to speed on the news, right?
0:51The U .S. unfortunately lost 92 ,000 jobs in what the Wall Street Journal is
0:58calling a widespread and unexpected downturn.
1:02There was a healthcare strike.
1:04Kaiser Permanente playing a role in this.
1:08So the Labor Department numbers reporting in.
1:11January had 126 ,000 jobs gained.
1:17Economists were expecting 50 ,000 jobs gained this month.
1:20They were wrong. Economists are wrong a lot.
1:23No surprise there. Unemployment rate at 4 .4%.
1:27And there's a big change here in the healthcare hiring, which is a big part
1:33of this. We're also being told by the team.
1:36And I have to take your word for this, guys.
1:38Apparently, Clay, and I'm sorry, I just can't speak to this.
1:42There's been some rough weather in other parts of the country.
1:46It's not 75 degrees. You guys aren't all walking around in flip -flops, making sure
1:52you get plenty of vitamin D.
1:53There are some places in the last month or so where it has been a
1:57little cold, a little chilly, which is sad.
2:00Yeah, you Miami people are super cocky about the weather.
2:03You just always have to ask other people what the weather is.
2:06You go pretty quiet from about May, June to September.
2:11Whatever, it's like, oh, it's 98 degrees.
2:14When I go to the grocery store, I have to swim through the air, yeah.
2:16It's 98 degrees with 178 % humidity, no talk.
2:20But as soon as it gets to be February, you're like, oh, it's cold other
2:22places. I will say when I lived in warm places, I lived in the Caribbean
2:27for a couple years as an attorney, every time I saw bad weather, and I
2:31know you do this now because you live in Miami, I'm just like, what are
2:35these people even thinking dealing with bad weather?
2:36You know, where it's actually really cold or it's actually truly awful when you live
2:42in really warm weather. Maybe you've even gone on vacation.
2:45You go on vacation, you look back at people in bad weather, and you just
2:47think, that seems like a really poor choice by them, which is why I've said
2:50before, if we had settled the country west to east instead of east to west,
2:55no one would live in the northeastern United States because by the time we got
2:59here, people would have said, this is ridiculous.
3:01There's no point here. I think you've never experienced, I think, and I'm not just
3:06saying this because we have some fantastic stations from New York and on up into
3:12the northeast, although it doesn't hurt.
3:14I think that New England in the fall is one of the most beautiful places
3:19on the planet. I think it's amazing.
3:22You go into some of these parts of the Hudson Valley and Vermont and Massachusetts
3:28in September, October as the leaves are changing and there's a crisp air.
3:33It's beautiful. It's a beautiful thing.
3:35We get that in the south.
3:35It just happens in November, and it's great.
3:38I don't need to get cold earlier.
3:40It's very pretty leaves down here, too.
3:42I think this is big leaf that's gotten to you, much like big leaf blower
3:47has gotten to destroy the brain function of a lot of people out there.
3:52Maybe there's something with the loudness of the leaf blower that has actually distorted their
3:56cognitive abilities. Have you noticed how angry people get in the leaf blower debate, I
4:00might add? As soon as I saw your tweet, I was like, oh, Buck doesn't
4:04know what he's done here.
4:05Big leaf blower is going to come for him.
4:07I think some people really enjoy their leaf blowing.
4:10I feel like this is – I did not anticipate this.
4:13I thought it was just a loud, annoying chore that nobody would want to do.
4:17I think there are some leaf blower addicts out there who just – they just
4:21love the rush of all those – that deciduous tree residue just falling all over
4:29the place, and they're just blowing it everywhere.
4:32And they just – they're like a god among leaves, and they love it.
4:36I'm surprised by this, but I think it's real.
4:39Look, if you crazy leaf blower people want to live your leaf blowing infatuation, I'm
4:44fine with it. Just you should not be able to do it before 9 a
4:48.m., certainly on the weekend.
4:51And I think 9 a .m.
4:52is a reasonable hour on many different weeks.
4:56Like in residential neighborhoods, the number of times that I will think to myself, hey,
5:00you know what, I'm going to get to sleep in a little bit.
5:03I don't sleep very much.
5:05I'm like, you know what, I'm going to sleep in a little bit.
5:08The number of times that I am woken up by a leaf blower in Florida,
5:11it is an epidemic in Florida.
5:14You can't go anywhere in Florida without being woken up by a leaf blower at
5:18like 6 .23 in the morning.
5:20When you get into Miami, you got leaf blowers waking you up.
5:24You also – have roosters in some neighborhoods.
5:27I've seen them running wild in your neighborhood.
5:29There's just roosters everywhere. Just roosters running around.
5:33You're like, what are they doing?
5:33Who does that rooster belong to?
5:35We don't know, but he's loud.
5:36That is for sure. There's plenty of that going on.
5:39Well, I would think this is going to be an incredible segue.
5:42I'm patting myself on the back in advance.
5:45Many leaf blowers are powered by gasoline and gasoline prices, Buck, are beginning to spike.
5:51I told you this. We talked about it earlier this week.
5:54They're going to pivot. Just wait for it if you're not noticing it already.
5:58Democrats are going to pivot from, well, the Ayatollah was a bad guy, but we
6:02took him out. We shouldn't have done that, which is a hard argument to make.
6:05If you're going to say, well, this guy's responsible for hundreds of American deaths, destabilizing
6:10the Middle East, funding terrorism throughout the world, but it was wrong to kill him.
6:16That story, that's a tough argument to make, but I'm telling you, they have already
6:21begun the pivot, and the data is starting to reflect that gas prices are going
6:24up. Now, my take is gas prices are going to go up and then come
6:28back down very quickly, because I think we're going to have success in the Middle
6:32East faster than people anticipate, much like, have you noticed how nobody's talking about Venezuela
6:37now? We're establishing normal relations.
6:39There's more gas coming out of Venezuela than ever before.
6:42It seems to have been one of the most orderly transitions of power that we
6:46have seen in a modern era so far, and so the pivot here, Buck, is
6:49going to be Trump's war in Iran is making everybody poorer because gas prices are
6:54up. Just give it time.
6:57By the time you get into, I would say within 10 years, and maybe within
7:04five years, this is kind of a wild prediction, but I don't think it's that
7:08crazy. There'll be American women doing bachelorette parties in Caracas.
7:15You watch. It'll turn into what?
7:18They're going to leave Nashville, and they're going to start going to Caracas instead?
7:20Well, no. What I'm thinking of is that Cartagena, for a while, was a direct
7:24jet blue flight from New York.
7:25Hugely popular for bachelor parties.
7:27Very popular for, yeah, because you could, you know, it has that sort of Latin
7:31flair, and then you're out of the country, but it's an easy flight, and the
7:36food's great, and there's lots of dancing.
7:38So give it 10 years, and Caracas, if it stays on this trajectory, will be
7:44a boom town. Because Venezuela is a great country, and the Venezuelan people are a
7:48great people. They've just gotten screwed by bad leadership.
7:51It's, by the way, already starting to happen.
7:53It's gotten safer. Of all places, I believe I was reading in the New York
7:57Times about how cocktail bars are starting to take off now, and that people are
8:03complaining because the prices of cocktails have gone up, and some some stake, you know,
8:08they've had such crazy inflation, and continue to have such crazy inflation in Venezuela.
8:12They've destroyed the entire economy since Chavez was elected in 2012 or 2013.
8:17As many of you listening to us who have friends, family, or yourselves are from
8:21Venezuela. But already, Buck, the capitalist infusion of just having basic support from the government
8:31to be able to make money.
8:32The overall food and dining scene, which is an early arbiter on how do people
8:38feel about the economy, is starting to skyrocket in popularity.
8:41The New York Times had a big article about going out in Caracas in the
8:45wake of the removal of Maduro, and how so many different bar owners and restaurant
8:50owners are saying things are a lot better already.
8:52This is what I mean.
8:54You can just tell things are moving in the right direction there, and that's a
8:59great thing. We'll see you in Iran.
9:00By the way, you mentioned energy prices.
9:02Here's Secretary of Energy, Secretary Wright.
9:05This is cut nine. He's saying, look, the gas price thing, it's a little spike.
9:09It's the speculators. It's the concerns over the Strait of Hormuz.
9:13Play nine. When will there be some relief for folks at the pump?
9:18Do we expect this to last weeks, or do you think, you know, with the
9:22mitigation that the administration is putting in place right now, that we should see the
9:26gas prices start to come back down?
9:28Yeah, I think it's of order weeks.
9:31I would say in the worst case, but it's weeks, not months.
9:34And look, Iran has been an escalator of energy prices 47 years, the whole history
9:39of their regime. We've got a little bit of an interruption right now to finally
9:43put an end to their ability to wreak havoc, to kill Americans, and to terrorize
9:48their neighbors. Clay, I think...
9:51So short -term pain, long -term gain is the pitch.
9:54I think that that's correct.
9:55I do not think this is going to turn into some, you know, long -term,
10:03you know, 1970s style, oh my gosh, the oil, there's nothing like that's going to
10:08happen. They're going to get this thing figured out pretty quickly, and oil prices are
10:12going to continue to come down.
10:13And look, everyone's very aware it's an election year, and no matter what, people are
10:19unhappy with the party and power if gas prices are high.
10:22That is just the truth.
10:23That is just the way it is.
10:24So this administration, the Trump team, they're attuned to that.
10:28They recognize it. So that's why they're going as fast as they can now.
10:31I mean, they are treating this whole thing like they are on a clock, which
10:34is a smart way to approach it.
10:36I think that's why they have made the moves that they did in Venezuela and
10:39in Iran at the time in the year that we did.
10:42Remember, it wasn't very long ago, Buck, when they said the midterms are going to
10:45be decided by Minneapolis? And when's the last time we heard anything about what happened
10:50in Minneapolis? I knew that was going to blow over.
10:52Truly. But things move so rapidly.
10:54I think they made a conscious decision because if you had gone in in September,
10:59let's say, and taken out the Ayatollah or taken out Maduro and hadn't gone well,
11:04then the impact in November is likely to be more substantial.
11:08Right. You're within a couple of months of the election.
11:10People pay attention to gas prices.
11:11We're very early in March.
11:13Again, I've said this before, but gas prices go up in the summer and then
11:17they tend to come down in the fall.
11:18That's the general trajectory of gas prices.
11:20I think by the time we get to August, September, and people are actually voting
11:24and people are starting to fill out their ballots and get the early votes in,
11:28I think gas prices will be back down and people will not be talking about
11:31gas prices at all. Yes, I think that's all true.
11:35I think the economy is going to be a very strong place for the Republicans
11:38overall politically. There is this always this possibility of some issue with the war in
11:48Iran escalating a bit. So we can continue to we will continue to watch that
11:53closely. But here is CNN's.
11:57This is cut 20 guys.
11:58CNN's data guru. Their version of Ryan Gerdusky, Harry Enten, who is saying that if
12:07you look at President Trump at this point of his presidency compared to other two
12:13termers in their second term, well, listen to the man himself.
12:16Play 20 Republicans love Donald Trump more than any president's own party supporters loved him
12:24at this particular point. Just take a look here.
12:26OK, own party supporters, 21st century presidents, own party approval about at this point in
12:30the second term. Bush was at 77 percent.
12:33Obama was at 77 percent.
12:35Look at this. 86 percent of Republicans approve of the job that Donald Trump is
12:41doing at this point. That is higher than either Obama or Bush had within their
12:45own party at this point.
12:46We're going to look at these same presidents again.
12:48Strong approval among your own party's base.
12:51What you see here is Trump is the only one who gets a majority at
12:54this point in their presidency.
12:55Obama was at 48 percent.
12:57Bush was at 47 percent.
12:59You see her Trump at 53 percent.
13:01Not as high as overall approval rating, but still getting a majority of the Republican
13:05base. He's getting it done.
13:09Just compare the numbers, see where he is, see where the Republican base is right
13:13now. People can get very easily frustrated and exasperated with those in power because maybe,
13:20well, the party out of power tends to create unrealistic expectations and take cheap shots
13:24and all of that. But overall, Trump is going into his second year of term,
13:29too, in a very strong position.
13:32I think also this is important primarily in the context of there's a desperate attempt
13:37at CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Washington Post, whatever outlets you want to point to
13:43on the legacy left wing perspective to constantly argue, oh, there's a feud.
13:49Trump's base is turning against him.
13:51There is never going to be a time where that is true.
13:54They have been wishing it, trying to wish it into existence for a decade now.
13:59People may not agree with everything that Trump does, but the idea that people are
14:03going to suddenly, by mass amounts, who voted for Trump two or three times over
14:08the last decade suddenly say, hey, I don't agree with President Trump.
14:12It's just not going to happen.
14:13But pay attention to the fact that they're going to constantly try to attempt it.
14:16OK, we got some stuff to react to, by the way.
14:19Did you see the mayor's wife, Buck, when we come out of this next break?
14:22Mom Donnie's wife celebrated the October 7, 2023 terror attacks with likes on her social
14:29media accounts for the deaths, the murders that occurred.
14:32Not a surprise, but this is a story that's up there that I want to
14:38share with people. We got some funny things from James Tallarico, who is just an
14:43utter disaster for Democrats. And it may be the case that I have misspoken and
14:50I may no longer be able to live in the state of Tennessee.
14:53We will discuss this and more as we continue with the third hour of the
14:56Friday edition of the program.
14:58But look, you can lose power.
14:59We've seen it happen a lot.
15:01A lot of people in my home state of Tennessee, my home city of Nashville,
15:04lost power. And a lot of you are constantly dealing with this, whether it's during
15:08hurricane season, tornado season, snow and ice season.
15:12So many different things can go wrong that knocks out your power.
15:15And you may need to stay in touch.
15:17This is what happened with Buck's sister -in -law when Asheville got hit.
15:21She was able to stay in touch with everybody through rapid radios.
15:24If you want to stay in touch with your friends and family, ensure that you're
15:27able to connect and that you have a charge that will last five days without
15:31needing to recharge in the event that you do lose power.
15:34This is what rapid radios is all for.
15:36We had a bunch of people reach out after the ice storms in Nashville and
15:41went all the way down into Mississippi.
15:43One of our listeners wrote and said, hey, the only way I was able to
15:45get in touch with my daughter at Ole Miss at the University of Mississippi down
15:48there was because she had rapid radios.
15:50It was a purchase we made in the event of disaster, natural disaster, and we
15:55were able to stay in touch with her.
15:57If you want to prepare yourself for the worst, you need to have rapid radios.
16:00We have them. They're fully charged, ready to go in the Travis household.
16:03When the world goes quiet, make sure you don't.
16:06Communication redefine. That's rapidradios .com.
16:09Check them out today, rapidradios .com.
16:21ABC Wednesdays, the Emmy -winning comedy Scrubs is all new.
16:25This is a whole new chapter for me.
16:26No more sad sack. That's what I'm talking about.
16:29I want both of our sacks to be fun.
16:31You two idiots are perfect for each other.
16:33From executive producers of Ted Lasso and Shrinking.
16:35We were all a part of this victory.
16:37Now get those nachos out of the preemie warmer.
16:41Nachos! Feels like there's more applause for the nachos than my speech.
16:44The new season of Scrubs, Wednesdays, 8, 7 central on ABC and stream on Hulu.
16:50All right, you guys have caught me.
16:53I may not be able to return to my home state of Tennessee.
16:56Here is the talkback from B calling me out.
17:01I thought he was wrong, but let's play it.
17:04Clay, as a fellow born and raised Tennessean, I'm shaking my head that you called
17:10Davey Crockett a legendary Texan.
17:13He was born in Tennessee, dude.
17:14All right, I said there's no way I said that.
17:17Evidently, unfortunately, there is tape.
17:19And the team went back because they hate me, and they found it.
17:22And this is Cut 21.
17:25We've been saying for some time, Crockett Coffee not connected to Jasmine Crockett, named after
17:29the legendary Texan Davey Crockett.
17:32Oh, no. This is not good, Buck.
17:35I am done in Tennessee.
17:37Tack ad's going to come soon.
17:39I did, however, think that there was a benefit thanks to AI.
17:43This is what the transcript now reflects.
17:45This is like Joe Biden's team.
17:46Cut 21A. Anyway, we've been saying for some time, Crockett Coffee not connected to Jasmine
17:51Crockett, named after the legendary Tennessean Davey Crockett.
17:55There you go. Seamless fit.
17:57Amazing. Nobody's even going to note.
17:59This is the crazy world we live in now that it's just so hard to
18:03tell the difference, and it's so clearly not producer Greg's voiceover that corrected that for
18:09you. So I'm glad to see that.
18:12I'm glad to see it.
18:13But we are going to get into more talkbacks and more of your emails and
18:17all of that good stuff here shortly.
18:21You know, Clay, you know, with age comes wisdom.
18:24You know what else happens?
18:26You get aches and pains.
18:28I have tennis elbow, but not from tennis.
18:32It's from Padel, which I have started to play down here in Miami.
18:37Between this and your, what's that, pistachio ice cream, and what's the type of water
18:43that you drink now? Pellegrino.
18:46I know. I'm going very Miami on all of this.
18:49The pistachio creme brulee is still a delicious dessert, but I've got Padel elbow now.
18:55It's a real thing. Can a single nursery providing trees, shrubs, and plants meet the
19:00needs of this entire audience no matter which of our 50 states you call home?
19:03The answer is yes. Fast Growing Trees is the name of this nursery, America's largest,

19:36They have over 2 million happy customers.
19:38That number is growing day by day.
19:40Find up to 50 % off trees and plants when you go to Fast Growing

19:52Promo code Buck for 20 % off.
20:02Hey Buck, one of my kids called me an unk the other day.
20:05An unk? Yep. Slaying evidently for not being hip, being an old dude.
20:09So how do we un -unk you?
20:11Get more people to subscribe to our YouTube channel.
20:14At least that's what my kids tell me.
20:16That's simple enough. Just search the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show and hit the
20:19subscribe button. Takes less than five seconds to help un -unk me.
20:24Do it for Clay. Do it for freedom.
20:25And get great content while you're there.
20:27The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show YouTube channel.
20:29Before we get into this Mom Donnie story, which is interesting stuff.
20:33Mom Donnie's wife, actually. Clay, why don't you tell everybody what you're doing in D
20:37.C., man? You know, what's going on there?
20:41The reason I was late, I flew up to D .C.
20:44I'm only up here down and back same day on my beloved Southwest Airlines.
20:49There's actually a really cool panel on the future of college sports.
20:55And I know a lot of you are big college sports fans.
20:59But basically, as players have begun to be paid, it has created an absolute mess
21:05that I think most fans out there agree needs to be fixed.
21:09And this gets into the weeds a little bit, but it is going to require,
21:14if we want to fix it, I think, congressional action.
21:18Now, I don't know if Congress can pass anything right now, to be frank.
21:22But President Trump, in addition to building ballrooms and victory arches and engaging in actions
21:31in Venezuela and maybe Cuba and certainly Iran, is trying to fix everything out there.
21:36And so people from Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, a lot of different people affiliated with
21:42college sports are going to be at the White House.
21:44I'm going to be on a panel.
21:45I think it's going to be carried live on Fox News.
21:48at 4 p .m. Eastern, and the president's trying to put together a plan to
21:52solve many of the issues bedeviling college sports right now, and I'm going to be
21:58a part of it. So with my background in media and politics and law, hopefully
22:02I can be somewhat helpful.
22:03So that's what's going on.
22:05I'm going to go to the panel and then go home, pick up my kid
22:08at a lacrosse match, and head into the house for the weekend.
22:11But hopefully we can make some progress on trying to fix the mess that is
22:15college athletics right now. I'm already hearing more about how here in Florida, because of
22:20our lovely climate and the ability to play outdoor sports pretty much year -round, that
22:25there's a surge in interest in kids going to essentially sports -first academies with the
22:32idea being you don't even have to go pro anymore.
22:35And it's not just about getting recruited to a college.
22:37You might be able to make seven figures.
22:39Now, you say, okay, well, maybe you can only do that for a few years.
22:43Yeah. Starting out life in your early twenties, if you're making a half million dollars
22:47a year for, I think my first job, I made 30 grand.
22:49So yeah, you know, that's pretty good.
22:51Yeah. Look, the balancing act is going to be complicated because you want people to
22:55be compensated for their talent.
22:57I'm a capitalist, but I always say, and it takes people sometimes a minute to
23:02think about it, but in sports, the business is the competition and the quality of
23:08the competition is what dictates the success of the sport.
23:12And so if you're creating competition that is not ideal and you're breaking the competitive
23:20balance in the process, in the long range, that is not a good solution.
23:24So got to figure this out.
23:26If people are curious about it, my Twitter handle, I laid out some of the
23:30complex issues on it. But a lot of our friends, Senator Ted Cruz is going
23:34to be there. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, President Trump, clearly
23:40Eric Schmidt, Senator from Missouri.
23:44A lot of people that have an understanding of many different complex issues here, Nick
23:48Saban, Urban Meyer, who have had history in coaching.
23:51So I'm looking forward to it.
23:52I have no idea truly what to expect fully, but it'll be live at the
23:56White House. I'm looking forward to getting over there and seeing everybody in about 30
24:00minutes. So I'm going to be headed over there.
24:02And now let's hear about the first lady of New York City.
24:06David Crockett error. Yeah. So this is not going to surprise people, Buck, but I
24:10was reading this morning and I want to give credit to the group that wrote
24:14about this, but Mom Donnie has tried to lean into, I think what it's fair
24:22to say, a lot of negative connotations surrounding Jewish people.
24:26I think that's being very kind to him in New York City.
24:30And he has tried to argue, oh, that's just being misconstrued.
24:35That's being mischaracterized. I don't actually believe these things.
24:39Jewishinsider .com, a reporting site, has a story up.
24:44I shared it. I am retweeting it right now.
24:46If you are interested in reading it, it'll be up at clayandbuck .com too.
24:50Mayor Mom Donnie's wife liked many different social media posts celebrating the October 7th terror
24:59attack that led to 1 ,200 Israeli deaths and 250 people being taken hostage.
25:06Now, everyone out there who is married, I understand and I do think it's fair
25:10to say, hey, husbands and wives don't agree on everything.
25:14I think it's pretty unlikely that there's very many husband and wives where one of
25:19them says, yay, I'm so happy that Hamas killed a bunch of Jews.
25:23And the other one is the exact opposite opinion.
25:26So there are certain things where maybe husbands and wives, married couples, dating couples can
25:33differ. And all of you who have spouses can acknowledge this.
25:37Certainly my wife does not want to be held accountable for everything that I say,
25:41trust me. But I don't think there's very many couples where, again, would you sign
25:47on to this buck? One of them is like, yeah, I'm so glad that a
25:50bunch of Jews got murdered.
25:52Let me go celebrate October 7th.
25:54And the other partner is absolutely horrified by that.
25:58I don't think that's very common.
26:00Donnie has not commented on this.
26:01It's his wife, not him.
26:03But she went on social media and liked a ton of celebratory post for the
26:08murder of innocent Israelis on October 7th.
26:13I mean, he's horrible. She's horrible.
26:17Let me put it in this context, Buck.
26:19If Melania Trump had done this, do you think people would say, oh, President Trump
26:23had nothing to do with it?
26:26No. I mean, of course, the media would be all over it.
26:29I just. This is what you get in New York when you have some communist
26:34that you decide you're going to put in charge of the city and he's going
26:38to have people around him who are who are anti -Semites.
26:41Keep in mind, there are Jewish New Yorkers who are very pro -Mamdani.
26:44They don't care about this stuff.
26:46They think that the hatred of Israel is somehow entirely separate from hatred of them
26:53as Jews. I can tell you, everyone I've ever heard talking about how much they
26:58hate Israel, especially remember, we're not talking about criticizing Israeli policy.
27:03You're celebrating October 7th. You hate Israelis.
27:05I mean, you want Israelis.
27:06You hate Jewish people. You hate Jewish people, too.
27:09And this is a very, it's very obvious, right?
27:11We don't need to play this game that they want us to play.
27:14I'm like, no, it's different.
27:15only cheer when the zionists are being brutally murdered for no reason in the street
27:19not when you no no jews they hate jews and so yeah she an anti
27:23-semite she is but there are jewish liberals in new york who support mom donnie
27:28and probably support her anyway you know it's the uh it's the old enemy of
27:32my enemy is my friend thing with them they don't really care as long as
27:35they're pulling down the load -bearing walls of western civilization going full commie they're they're
27:40fine with it i do think look if we're gonna play fair stakes here um
27:45if you paid attention when president trump shared the uh the meme video which was
27:52designed to be humorous about barack and michelle obama and it just played on a
27:56recording for those of you who remember that controversy it was front page news i
28:00think the wife of the mayor in new york city celebrating the murder of 1200
28:05innocent jews in the captivity of 250 other innocent jews many of whom would be
28:10murdered while they were in captivity should be and i know i'm old school because
28:14i was reading the newspaper on my flights up to dc today uh i know
28:19that this should be the front page of the new york times and and certainly
28:22the new york times but also the washington post based on the way they cover
28:25trump's social media post will it will any of you see this covered anywhere other
28:33than uh a show like this or uh a site like the one that covered
28:37it it's but honestly clay it's tough she's she's not an elected office but will
28:42they even ask him will they even ask him about it i mean i think
28:45that's fair to say hey your wife was celebrating the murder of jews do you
28:49think maybe that's a little bit wrong i mean i get it he'll just it's
28:52not him he'll say my he'll say my wife loves jews and my wife is
28:55allowed to have opinions and he'll just move on i'm just i don't even think
28:58you're not gonna he won't get asked but if he did get asked he would
29:01just say my wife loves jewish people and this is what they just gaslight you
29:06they ignore it doesn't matter the evidence doesn't matter someone should write a book about
29:09this maybe somebody did called manufacturing delusion which you should go get a copy of
29:13this weekend if you have not already available on amazon or wherever get your books
29:16uh because clay they the the game with them is just say you didn't see
29:23the thing you saw or yeah what i said doesn't matter this is it's just
29:27like with gavin newsom it's all it's all this it's all the same stuff um
29:31and unfortunately it works with people and it works works well enough in new york
29:34city they're just going to figure out the hard way that this guy is the
29:39mayor of new york and everything that he says he's going to do that's a
29:42positive he will make worse he came into office to make people's lives more affordable
29:47he's going to make them less affordable and they still won't learn the lesson you
29:50know why because whatever he does they'll say he didn't do enough of it that's
29:54the problem this was the whole thing with uh with like obama and all the
30:00spending after the uh after the great recession because it caused all kinds of waste
30:05and and inflation and everything else and it was always well he just didn't spend
30:08it's not that he spent too much money on democrat party he didn't spend enough
30:13that's why we had this is they have a fever and the only prescription is
30:17more cowbell this is how democrats are with everything that's why we just can't let
30:20them be in charge we just had on brianna lyman from the federalist talking about
30:24the you elect republicans fewer people die elect republicans to run your city and fewer
30:30people will die by the numbers do you think any democrats care no whatever happened
30:35if it saves if it saves one life that's that they use that when they
30:40want but of course they never mean it this is the unfortunate consequence of there
30:46being a non -consequential right actual bad policy doesn't seem to change people from rooting
30:55for what team they decided to root for and you would think in many of
31:00these blue cities where violence has skyrocketed thankfully it's coming back down because of president
31:05trump's decisions that that would change but it just hasn't and um i think again
31:10the momdani argument as you just laid out is a very difficult one to make
31:15in the grand scheme of things uh look i want to tell you all about

32:58You guys are great. You can always talk back to the show through the iHeart
33:02app. We encourage you to go subscribe to the podcast and also to go subscribe
33:07to the YouTube channel. Podcast listener Bill from Claremont, Florida, and he's fired up about,
33:15I think I said that Heath Ledger was amazing as the Joker and he's not
33:18happy, F. Everybody knows that Jack Nicholson played the best Joker.
33:24I mean, I like Heath Ledger and all, but nobody plays a Joker like Jack
33:30Nicholson. I imagine your second favorite role at Heath Ledger is in Brokeback Mountain.
33:39Just throwing in a shot there.
33:41Ah, Heath Ledger's better than Jack Nicholson.
33:43Yeah, I gotta back my partner on this one here.
33:48Heath Ledger is a better performer.
33:49Jack Nicholson, very good. It's a very good Joker performance.
33:52It's no shade at him, but I think Heath Ledger.
33:56The one that I actually thought people might take issue with is the Joaquin Phoenix
34:00Joker. Correct. Versus the Heath Ledger Joker.
34:03Yes, and that performance also, there's three, you know, Elite Academy Award winning -esque performances.
34:11Delinda from Katy, Texas. K -T -R -H -G.

34:48So it's very exciting. Tim in Huffman, Texas.
34:54Cut H. Clay, Buck, y 'all were wrong on the leaf blowing before 9 a
34:59.m. I live on the Gulf Coast of Texas.
35:02In the summertime, you get out there early in the morning and get your yard
35:06work done. Because by 10 o 'clock, you're ready to be back in the house
35:10and be done. Do it in the evening.
35:13Do it in the evening.
35:14That's my suggestion to you, Tim.
35:16Get back out in the evening.
35:17Nice summer glow. And also, there's not as many leaves down in general in the
35:23summer as there is in the fall, which is when primary leaf blowing.
35:27These leaf blowers are an intransigent bunch.
35:30Really, really dug in on their leaf blowing positions here.
35:34Anytime, anywhere, as long as they want.
35:37You know, I don't know.
35:40I think the leaf blowers might need to rethink some of this stuff.
35:44Podcast, I agree with Buck.
35:45But send all your angry comments to Buck because he's the one you're really going
35:49to be mad at. Podcast listener Chris from San Antonio.
35:53What you got for us, Jay?
35:55Today, March 6th. Surprised you haven't mentioned it yet since you guys are all about
35:58coffee. It's actually the last day of the Alamo.
36:02The final day of the siege.
36:05So you guys are both pretty big history buffs.
36:07You may know that, but it needs to get mentioned on your program.
36:12No doubt. Let's go on and go to CrockettCoffee .com for legendary Tennessean and mythical
36:19Texan, Davy Crockett. Podcast listener, we just hit Chris.
36:23How about, let's see, Kay, who's a podcast listener Kay, no name, that has a
36:31history lesson for all of us.
36:34Hey, I'm just calling to get you back, man, here.
36:36Davy Crockett got voted out of office twice by Tennessee, and he told them to
36:41go to hell. He was going to Texas.
36:43I'm sure Texans claiming. You're clear, my man.
36:47That is very, I appreciate back.
36:51And again, we've got AI.
36:52We cleared it up. Nobody can tell the difference now.
36:55Buck, I hope you survived Padel this weekend.
36:57I hope all of you have.
36:58Oh, no, I'm on injured reserve.
37:01Oh, you're actually out. I can't, man.
37:03My elbow is all swollen off.
37:05And, dude, once you get to be old like me, things just start to break
37:09down on you, buddy. You know, I need to go do some dry needling, some
37:14cupping. These are the things you do now in PT.
37:16You ever done any of this stuff?
37:17It's funky. I have not.
37:22I barely do anything to be healthy, obviously.
37:25Some people listening to this are also like, you could try whiskey, Buck.
37:27That would work, too, which is a fair point.
37:29That is a fair point.
37:31Indeed. Look, I hope everybody has a great weekend.
37:34We'll be back on Monday, breaking down the absolute latest on the war in Iran
37:37and more. And we appreciate all of you.
37:41You don't have a movie or a book wreck for everybody for this weekend?
37:44I went to go see Scream 7.
37:47But I guarantee that you hate the entire Scream franchise, so I didn't even bring
37:53it up. No, Scream 1 is good.
37:54Scream 1 is good. But I'm sure in descending order, by the time you get
37:58to Scream 7, you wish that the bad guy would knife you in the audience.
38:01Like, you just can't handle it anymore.
38:03I didn't think it was bad.
38:04It was a nostalgic callback to much of what happened all the way back in
38:081996. You're too nice about it.
38:11movies what is the last movie you saw that you would actually agree is trash
