0:02Guaranteed human. You're listening to the Buck Sexton Show Podcast.
0:08Make sure you subscribe to the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get
0:13your podcasts. How do you get seemingly otherwise normal, middle -class, suburban women to chase
0:22after ICE officers, scream in their faces, spit at them?
0:25How do you get individuals to act out violently because they think they're stopping a
0:33transgenocide? How do you convince people that unless they change their individual habits around electricity
0:44usage, they're destroying the planet?
0:47It's all delusional madness, and it is the topic of my book, my friends, which
0:54is out February 17th, as in tomorrow.
0:58A lot of you will be listening to this on the day of it, though.
1:01Manufacturing Delusion, How the Left Uses Brainwashing, Indoctrination, and Propaganda Against You.
1:07Yes, in this podcast, I'm going to talk to you about why this book ties
1:10right into some of the most important issues of the day, news -wise.
1:15But also, I wanted to tell you, please go buy a copy of the book.
1:21Look, there's a real problem these days with the conservative, I don't know, we'd say
1:28intellectual sphere. Books are really hard to sell these days, and that shouldn't be the
1:34case. We have been the book people on the right here in media for a
1:39long time, and I remember buying books by my favorite right -wing authors starting in
1:44high school and all through college.
1:46So that's another thing here.
1:47We need to get back to books.
1:48I understand everything is social media.
1:50It's all 20 -second soundbites.
1:52It's all scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll.
1:54This book has a lot of research in it.
1:56This book has a lot that I think you will enjoy learning about, that you
2:01need to learn about. And I'm very clear about this in the beginning of it.
2:06This is the biggest challenge that we face.
2:09With AI, with the increases, I think, in human productivity that we're going to see
2:14and the technological abilities that we have as a human species, it's not the natural
2:22world that's going to do us in.
2:24It's not some pandemic. It's not global warming, climate change, whatever.
2:30We are the biggest threat to humanity, we other humans.
2:35And the madness that can take over large segments of the world at one time,
2:42we saw this during COVID, but really a case I make in the book is
2:46communism is essentially a delusion.
2:48It is a madness. Totalitarianism is rooted in delusions and in lies and in madness.
2:56And there are playbooks, there are tactics, things that are done by totalitarians in order
3:06to achieve the level of mind control.
3:09Things like, these are different chapters in the book, isolation, fear, indoctrination, menticide, brainwashing, thought
3:20reform. These are all things I get into in the book.
3:23You're like, well, Buck, what are those things?
3:24Ah, that is why you should get a copy of this.
3:28But, you know, how do you get something like 40 % of Democrats all through
3:35Trump's first term believed in Trump's first term that he had hacked into or worked
3:42with Russia to hack into election machines to change votes?
3:45That was never a serious accusation really made anywhere, but there was a belief that
3:51that happened and it was through indoctrination, it was really through propaganda that people started
3:59to believe that in large numbers.
4:01How is it that you can convince the American public overall that Dr.
4:07Fauci with his little masks and the Fauci ouchie, the needle, you know, that that
4:16somehow was going to keep you safe from COVID is insane.
4:21All of the data was showing you that this was, your observations, forget about data,
4:26forget about reading studies, your observations around you.
4:28But people came to believe, oh, I have this mask on, I'm safe.
4:33It's a delusion. But it's not just a delusion that came upon you.
4:37It is a manufactured delusion.
4:39It is made. It is built into you.
4:44There is a process of forcing this into our brains.
4:50And I do believe that this is the single biggest threat that we face because
4:54if you can make people believe that a man can become a woman, for example,
5:01this is part of the menticide chapter, you can make them believe anything.
5:05Because what could be a more fundamental reality than men and women and men and
5:10women are different? What could change that perception?
5:15That's why I think the left is so set on this because if they can
5:20convince you of that, they have brought you to a place of...
5:24total intellectual subjugation right if you think that a you can't tell the difference in
5:31a penis and a vagina if you can't tell the difference in a man and
5:33a woman if babies are assigned gender at birth as they say all of this
5:37stuff you know instinctually this is this is a lie but there are a lot
5:42of people in this country who have come to believe this stuff and in fact
5:46they're willing to be violent i mean you look at the assassin of charlie kirk
5:50for example did this on behalf of trans rights and the sort of trans genocide
5:56quote unquote that he believes is happening from people who are uh you know transphobic
6:03or or whatever it may be a number of including the uh the comington school
6:08shooter was a another trans individual who believed that the trans community was under assault
6:13i mean even the notion of this as a community it's a it's a mental
6:17health issue but there's very clear uh there's very clear support for this from the
6:25top from people who are using this as a form of of mind control and
6:31and they get it and i get into all the different versions of this you
6:35know the chinese uh the soviets uh cult leaders north korea you can see how
6:44these massive they're really they're really cults of personality enforced by the state using massive
6:51force of the state to uh assert control over people not just physically but mentally
6:57and that is the ultimate control if you can control people's minds then everything else
7:01follows after that and that is really what power is power at some level is
7:05also perception you have to make you you can't have a secret police officer although
7:10maybe with technology this will change you can't have a secret police officer in every
7:15single home watching every single move but you can convince people that there could be
7:20an informant a neighbor a friend a family member who is watching their every move
7:26and can report it to the authorities can report it to big brother and then
7:31you have the kind of compliance that totalitarians dream of and this is a psychological
7:35trick this is a psychological form of control so this is all again what i'm
7:41getting into in in the book uh if you like audiobooks by the way i
7:45did the read for the audiobook myself so please go get a a copy of
7:51it and you know this is all i i get into cults in here um
7:56i get into weaponized law i think is a really particularly interesting chapter as well
8:02that's really my own formulation i'll talk about that in a second our sponsor here
8:06is birch gold one of the better investments i've made in a long time is
8:09gold this year alone it's up about 50 in value and it shows no signs
8:13of slowing given the instability and the lingering inflation that we're contending with the last
8:17time we saw this kind of increase in the value of gold was back in
8:201979 when there's instability in markets which we're seeing when there's global uncertainty when there's
8:25massive money printing gold does well central banks are flocking to gold i recommend you
8:30get in on gold for the long term too uh birch gold can help you
8:35get gold you can hold i mean just gold you keep at home in a
8:38vault or wherever or you can get uh you can convert with birch gold's help
8:42an ira or 401k into a tax sheltered ira and physical gold you don't pay
8:47a dime out of pocket text my name buck to 98 98 98 claim your
8:51free info kit no obligation just useful information text buck to 98 98 98 text
8:57buck to 98 98 98 now um i mentioned weaponized law to me the law
9:04also is this is really a way that the state controls perception when you know
9:10about things no one ever sat you down you're probably not maybe some of your
9:12lawyers but a lot of you aren't lawyers no one ever taught you the law
9:15and yet you know what the law is and you're held to account for the
9:19law and so there's a psychological component to that like you know oh that will
9:24be illegal you know oh i can't do that you just pick this up over
9:27time so our laws shape our moral perceptions in a lot of ways our laws
9:34shape our perception of the state and our relationship to it and a law that
9:39is abused for totalitarian purposes a law that is abused for mind control is also
9:44very uh very potent and very uh very damaging and that's something that uh you
9:50see even in places like i talk about this in the book in nazi germany
9:54they were very intent on using the law for their evil purposes they didn't just
10:03say oh you know you know hitler is the dictator he does whatever he wants
10:06and that's it no no no they they they had laws that were put in
10:10place they would say this is a lot now you know a lot of people
10:14in the soviets had a constitution that was a joke a lot of this is
10:17just for public dissemination it's it's it's not meant to be it is not meant
10:23in good faith at all of course but they even set up special courts in
10:28nazi germany to deal with people who were considered essentially subversives so they created legal
10:36now they could have just sent them to camps and executed them but they created
10:38legal process and it's because they wanted people who were supportive of the regime to
10:44have the belief that there was some process here there there was that there was
10:48some legality to the heinous things that they were doing and it You see this,
10:53right? I mean, bad guys, the worst of the worst, will try to find some
10:56justifications, and sometimes will try to find justification in law, even if they're making the
11:00law up as they go along.
11:03So weaponized law is a chapter in the book, which I think you'll find particularly
11:06interesting. I'm just looking through some of this here.
11:09You need to know the history of brainwashing.
11:12Do you know where the term comes from?
11:14Do you know who the first person was to use it?
11:17You'll learn these things if you get the book, and this is why I really,
11:21like I've been saying, manufacturing delusion.
11:23I wrote this book. It took me 18 months, and then it sat with the
11:29publisher editors for maybe six months, then it sat with the CIA for four or
11:35five months. It's been a long process to get here, and I absolutely insisted on
11:40writing it myself. I don't know that I'll ever do that again because it's so
11:43much time and so much effort.
11:45I did all the research for this myself.
11:46I just say this to you because don't think, oh, I'll buy Buck's next book.
11:49This might be it. I'm just telling you the truth.
11:52So please get a copy of it.
11:55It's meant to be read.
11:57It's pretty short. It's like 240 -ish pages.
12:01It's meant to be read.
12:02It's meant to be read on a weekend.
12:04And really, it's meant to be read at the individual chapters.
12:06I want people to be able to go back and read it more than once
12:09if they want it, if they want to have a deeper dive into it.
12:12And so, yeah, this is the Buck podcast here for the book.
12:18And I really hope you go and check it out and get your copy of
12:21it. And please spread the word to friends.
12:23And let's make it a bestseller, my fellow patriots, my friends and colleagues.
12:31Shields high. This is an iHeart podcast.
