0:28Donald Trump is having a disastrous Saturday morning.
0:32He is having a horrific meltdown before our eyes after losing the case in front
0:38of the Supreme Court where they struck down his tariffs against the world.
0:43As you may recall, yesterday, Donald Trump posted that he would be imposing a new
0:48tariff regime of 10 % tariffs against the entire world.
0:53He's invoking something called Section 122 of the 1974 Trade Act, which I'll describe later
1:01in this video. Actually doesn't apply.
1:04It's another unlawful invocation of a law, which is not being invoked properly to impose
1:10tariffs against the world. But this morning, he now raised that to 15%.
1:16So within about a 12 -hour period, he went from having his meltdown over the
1:22Supreme Court ruling and saying, well, now I'm doing 10 % tariffs against the world,
1:26to now he says he's doing 15 % tariffs against the world.
1:30Here's what he posted early this morning.
1:32He goes, based on a thorough, detailed, and complete review of the ridiculous, poorly written,
1:39and extraordinarily anti -American decision on tariffs issued yesterday after many months of contemplation by
1:47the United States Supreme Court, please let this statement serve to represent that I, as
1:53President of the United States of America, will be effectively, immediately raising the 10 %
2:00worldwide tariff on countries, many of which have been ripping the U .S.
2:04off for decades without retribution until I came along, to the fully allowed and legally
2:10tested 15 % level. During the next short number of months, the Trump administration will
2:18determine and issue the new legally permissible tariffs, which will continue our extraordinarily successful process
2:25of making America great again.
2:29Extraordinarily successful. Inflation is surging again.
2:33We got the new PCE report on Friday, core PCE around 3%.
2:38We got the GDP numbers on Friday.
2:41GDP was a lousy 1 .4%, very bad GDP growth during Donald Trump's first year
2:50in office. And you were promising 5, 10, 15 % growth, far worse.
2:55The economy is far worse right now than under former President Biden.
2:59And now you're putting 15 % tariffs against the world.
3:02As this one account explains, it's really infuriating also that every journalist since Trump's 2024
3:09campaign has been incorrectly discussing Trump's tariffs as though there's some economic policy.
3:15They're not. They're a primitive coping mechanism employed by a psychopathic toddler to soothe his
3:23pain when he feels fragile and wounded.
3:26There has never been a clearer example.
3:28The Supreme Court humiliated Trump by saying publicly that he doesn't have absolute power to
3:34do anything he wants. He felt wounded.
3:37So he lashed out at SCOTUS to hurt them back by imposing a 10 %
3:42tax on Americans. What the F are we talking about?
3:45Budget impacts, this or that.
3:48Donald Trump is just making this stuff up to soothe his ego.
3:51And then he just raised those tariffs against the world to 15%.
3:56And again, I'll explain to you shortly again why it's illegal.
3:59I just want to cover some other things with you as well.
4:02Because now the United States ambassador to the European Union is also threatening the EU
4:09if the European Union adds in its defense procurement directive a preference to buy and
4:18build European weapons over US weapons.
4:22So after the Trump regime, J .D.
4:24Vance, Marco Rubio has been attacking Europe.
4:28I mean, quite physically attacking, quite literally attacking Europe, but saying you need to stop
4:33being dependent on the United States.
4:35You need to be more self -reliant.
4:37And then Europe and the rest of the world goes, bet.
4:40OK, we'll do that. We will prefer European weapons over American weapons.
4:46We will prefer our own defense over the former kind of global security alliances, which,
4:51by the way, benefited the US monetarily.
4:54Now this just happened. The European Union ambassador from the United States attacks the EU
5:00for preferring EU equipment over the United States and its defense directive.
5:05This was a statement that was just issued by the US ambassador to the EU.
5:09The United States opposes any.
5:11efforts to incorporate European preference in EU defense procurement directives.
5:17We fully support European rearmament and a revitalization of the European defense industrial base.
5:24However, European preference in the directive would undermine member state flexibility to make national procurement
5:31purchases, hinder European rearmament efforts, and create barriers for allies reaching NATO capability targets and
5:38run counter to European commitments in the 2025 U .S.-EU joint statement on trade and
5:45reciprocal defense procurement agreements. Yeah, they don't want to buy from the U .S.
5:50anymore. Even if the U .S.
5:52weapons were technically better made based on the fact that Europe had not been really
5:58building out its industries the same way the U .S.
6:01was, Donald Trump's been talking about kill switches.
6:04He's been threatening to invade Greenland and NATO nations and saying Canada's the 51st state.
6:10Why would they want to prefer American weapons over EU?
6:16This is a natural consequence of Trump's attack on Europe and the rest of the
6:21world. This account puts it perfectly right here.
6:24So the country that checks notes threaten to invade European territory for a month, implied
6:31multiple times that it might not support militarily its NATO allies in case of invasion,
6:37launched a trade war specifically because it was unhappy Americans were buying European products rather
6:43than U .S., sabotage military contracts of European allies only to fail to deliver on
6:49its own promises, has extensive legislation itself mandating U .S.
6:54administration by American is now complaining that Europe dares to prioritize its own industry to
7:01reduce its military reliance on a partner that has been less and less behaving like
7:06an ally and increasingly like a threat.
7:08Yeah, thanks for your input, United States, but we'll put it into our pocket reserve
7:14for the very important stuff.
7:16Or this account writes, the U .S.
7:18administration has spent the past year alternating between threatening to invade Denmark and bragging about
7:24selling us F -35s with kill switches now finds itself shocked.
7:29Shocked, I tell you, that Europe no longer wants to spend tens of billions of
7:34dollars on U .S. weapons as the Trump regime threatens to retaliate against European countries
7:39if the EU favors domestic weapons makers and a drive to rearm the continent.
7:46This is what you reap, Trump regime.
7:50This is what I've been saying now on the Midas Touch Network since the Trump
7:54regime started this when they came into power.
7:57I've been saying, and this is what Justin Wolfers and I talk about all the
8:01time, you can't even look at a specific quarter GDP, although it's bad when you
8:06look at a quarter GDP or when you look at some of the smaller data
8:11sets of quarterly information. The long -term damage that Trump has done to the U
8:18.S., the fact that U .S.
8:20treasuries are no longer even viewed as a safe haven, the fact that the dollar
8:25is so weak, the treasury yields are high.
8:29I mean, there is broader systemic change taking place, and the U .S.
8:34is being cut out of alliances across the world because we literally have a demented
8:40psychopath in the Oval covering up child sex trafficking and the biggest pedo ring in
8:47the history of the world.
8:48That's what's going on. Those are just what we like to call it Midas Touch,
8:52the facts. And by the way, speaking about the facts, we're so close to 6
8:56million subscribers. We may hit it this weekend.
8:59Hit subscribe. Help the Midas Touch get 6 million subscribers.

9:04So while all of this is taking place, what was Donald Trump saying when we
9:08know that our economy is suffering?
9:10It's the oldest trick in the book from Ponzi schemers.
9:14Give me another year. Give me another week, right?
9:17People who are victims of the Ponzi scheme eventually say, all right, I need to
9:22see the money. It comes due.
9:24Let me have the money.
9:25And what does the Ponzi schemer say?
9:27I'm working on it. I'm working on it.
9:28I'm just going to do this and this and this.
9:30I'm working on it. That's what Trump's doing because he's a Ponzi schemer.
9:34He's a fraud. He's a bankruptor.
9:35He's a sexual abuser. He's a demented, demented individual.
9:39Remember, here's what Donald Trump said yesterday when he was speaking.
9:43Let's play this clip. That's because of tariffs and we're going to keep it going
9:46the same way. And you're going to start to see the results in a year
9:50from now when all those factories start that are under construction right now.
9:53You see all the construction numbers are so good.
9:55But of course, he has his state regime media, which tries to cover for him.
9:59So Jesse Waters says, Trump's not a dictator.
10:02He's going to follow what the court ordered.
10:05Have you been watching what he's been doing, Jesse?
10:08I know your state regime media here on the Midas Touch.
10:11We talk about the facts, but I showed the facts.
10:14I shared the facts about what's actually happening.
10:18Donald Trump's not following the court order.
10:19He just did another unlawful tariff regime.
10:22That was his strategy. Let's play the clip.
10:25I guess Trump's not a dictator anymore because the court ruled against him and he's
10:29going to do what they say.
10:30Carney in Canada, he doesn't have this issue.
10:33Ursula at the UU can hit us with tariffs and nothing stops her.
10:38Mexico can hit. back fast.
10:40China can. They dump and tariff all day long.
10:43But the United States has to just sit there and take it.
10:46The president can't hit back fast.
10:48He has to guess which law to use.
10:51And if he retaliates too hard against Vietnam or Switzerland, these countries can hold firm
10:57because the court might strike them down.
10:59More from Jesse Waters right here.
11:01He's like, look, the Democrats, they just fell into a massive trap because now Trump
11:07will issue refund checks. And he'll put his name on it before the midterms.
11:11And everyone's going to get Trump tariff refund checks.
11:15Play this clip of Jesse Waters.
11:17Democrats don't even know it yet, but they just walked into a pretty big trap.
11:21Newsom's saying Americans should get a tariff refund.
11:26Donald Trump should return that money immediately.
11:29He has an obligation. $1 ,751 per family that were taxed by Donald Trump.
11:35He took hundreds of billions of dollars from working folks, from ag community, from small
11:41businesses, for this vanity play, this illegal action.
11:46And he finally was held to account.
11:47The rule of law won out.
11:50Tariff stimmy checks with Trump's name on it right before the midterms.
11:53I'm into it. Yeah, they're not giving refund checks, Jesse.
11:57Quite the contrary. They're going to take more because y 'all are the Epstein class.
12:02Y 'all are predators. And that's what predators do.
12:06I had the opportunity to speak to California Governor Gavin Newsom about the Trump's response
12:11and reaction to their massive loss before the Supreme Court.
12:14Go back and watch that full interview.
12:16We talk about his book as well, Young Men in a Hurry.
12:18And we get into real personal stuff about Newsom's life that I thought was very
12:22fascinating to me. But here's what he told me here.
12:24Play this clip. Right. And you immediately demanded those refunds be issued right away.
12:30Donald Trump, Treasury Secretary Scott Besson, they said, we're going to try to hold up
12:35American businesses and the people in litigation.
12:38We're going to be fighting this is what they they said.
12:41The Supreme Court ruling is ambiguous and confusing.
12:44And they said years of litigation.
12:45What's your response to that?
12:47Again, it's the last stop.
12:48Sorry, guys. I mean, we've all I've suffered many times on the other side of
12:53Supreme Court ruling. So there is no higher ruling.
12:56There's no Board of Peace here.
12:57You can't reestablish with a billion dollar tithing with 27 of your friends from overseas
13:02and create a new Supreme Court.
13:05So it's time this guy start to understand that he cannot operate as an imperial
13:12president, that he is subject to the rule of law, co -equal branches of government,
13:18the only branch of government that seems to be marginally operating Supreme Court, I say,
13:23with an asterisk. But today they seem to operate are the courts.
13:27Now, as I said at the outset of this video, I was going to share
13:30with you what Trump is claiming that he's invoking in order to do his new
13:37tariffs against the world. It's called the Trade Act of 1974, Section 122.
13:43When you look at it, you can only impose these tariffs against the world up
13:50to 15 % for 150 days.
13:53But here's what it specifically says.
13:55It says there are authorized to be appropriate annually such sums as may be necessary,
14:00blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, balance of payments.
14:02Whenever fundamental international payment problems require special import measures to restrict imports, one, to deal
14:12with large and serious United States balance of payment deficits, two, prevent an imminent and
14:18significant depreciation of the dollar, three, cooperate with other countries in correcting an international balance
14:25of payments disequilibrium, the president shall proclaim for a period not exceeding 150 days, a
14:33temporary import surcharge not to exceed 15%.
14:37But the thing is, we're not facing fundamental international payment problems.
14:44That's fundamental international payment problems, I guess would be if there's currency issues or currency
14:52swaps and current, you know, we're not facing international payment problems.
14:58People can make payments. Currency can be converted right now.
15:02The dollar is weak, but we're not having international payment problems.
15:07So the predicate to this whole statute has not been met at all.
15:12Then when it says to deal with large and serious United States balance of payment
15:18deficits, not trade deficit, balance of payment deficits, if another country may say be manipulating
15:26their currency and that's declared.
15:29But first, if there's an international payment problem generally.
15:33So the main, I'm just reading the statute.
15:36So you could be saying, well, how does he do another unlawful thing?
15:40Well, because his lesson from the Supreme Court is it took 16 months before the
15:46Supreme Court declared the last one unlawful.
15:48So he's going to do another unlawful thing and hope it lasts another 16 months.
15:53That's what, that's the plan.
15:55And I read for you why this doesn't apply at all, but also shouldn't the
16:00lesson that we all have from this past year, almost a year and a half
16:04now be the tariffs are bad.
16:06Isn't that so freaking trading?
16:07obvious? Anyway, there you have it, folks.
