0:57As missiles are raining down on Israel.

1:00We will see whether that ends up happening or not.

1:03But we appreciate all of you hanging out with us.

1:05And let's go right to it.

1:07I've said before, Buck, that I love early morning press conferences.

1:13And I understand that people in media do not like to get up early in

1:19the morning. I had five years of early morning radio.

1:22Nobody else was awake. I love making media members get up early and have to

1:29go cover events. I've talked about it at the White House.

1:32I particularly love that the Secretary of War and that everybody there is doing early

1:39morning press conferences because it sets the entire agenda of the day.

1:44And here is what I thought was the most significant aspect of what Secretary of

1:52War Pete Hegseth said that basically, and Buck, I want you to analyze this as

1:58well. We are close to having complete and total control of the skies over Iran.

2:04Here is cut six. U .S.

2:12and Israeli air power every minute of every day until we decide it's over.

2:18And Iran will be able to do nothing about it.

2:21B -2s, B -52s, B -1s, predator drones, fighters controlling the skies, picking targets.

2:27Death and destruction from the sky all day long.

2:32We're playing for keeps. Our warfighters have maximum authorities granted personally by the president and

2:38yours truly. Our rules of engagement are bold, precise, and designed to unleash American power,

2:44not shackle it. This was never meant to be a fair fight, and it is

2:48not a fair fight. We are punching them while they're down, which is exactly how

2:52it should be. All right.

2:54We're finishing them would be another way of pointing this out.

2:57Buck, let me hit you with another couple of pieces of data.

3:00Raisin Cain, as Trump calls him, General Cain says Iran's, this is a direct quote,

3:07ballistic missile shots fired are down 86 % from the first day of fighting, 23

3:14% decrease just in the last 24 hours.

3:17One -way attack drones down 73 % from the opening salvos that were fired.

3:24Why is this significant? Because what we are seeing is Iran's ability to fire back

3:31is diminishing in a hurry.

3:33And I understand that the talking points are, this war has just begun.

3:39I think that is largely to try to drive Iran towards an agreement on who

3:46the next leader will be.

3:47But to me, the story now, and you correct me if you see anything else

3:52here, is Iran's ability to fire back sort of indiscriminately, which they've been doing, peppering

3:58many different Gulf states with drones, with missiles, is basically vanishing.

4:04Soon it will be gone.

4:06And when that occurs, America's air superiority will be even more pronounced.

4:11And then it's really just a question of, to what extent is Iran willing to

4:16negotiate with us to determine what their new government will look like and who the

4:21leaders are? Is that a fair assessment in your mind?

4:26Well, mostly yes, except negotiate with whom?

4:31This is the problem, is that there really is not a sort of set and

4:38clear alternative to what we currently have, which is now gone, or rather is mostly

4:46gone. And there's a lot of factionalism.

4:50This is where you get into, this is a large and complicated country.

4:55We've thought of it as, in this country, I think a lot of the media

4:58coverage has made people think of it more as a monolith.

5:02People will refer to all Iranians as Persians.

5:04Well, Persians are just one ethnic group, actually, in Iran.

5:0760%, according to the numbers that I saw, Buck.

5:09There are Kurds, there are Azeris, there are Turkmen, there are, I mean, there are

5:17so many different ethnic factions otherwise that I can't name.

5:21I mean, there's a dozen or more that will make the list.

5:24There's a lot of... a lot of them is the point and when you actually

5:28talk about a uh resistance forming from within i think what we what we want

5:35clay the lesson of iraq is you cannot remove everybody who had any function in

5:43the pre previous government unless you want bloody anarchy which is what we ended up

5:49getting we you cannot have every person who ever held the gun for and received

5:56a paycheck from a government that is was run by the ayatollah or formally run

6:03by the ayatollah uh you can't get rid of all of them you need somebody

6:08from within who has enough uh wasta i think they would say in the in

6:15arabic in the middle east you need somebody with enough juice that they can say

6:19all right we can calm things down we can approach america or american intermediaries directly

6:26there's already reporting out there i mean there's reporting up on cnn of uh i

6:33mean this is the cnn report it says cia working to arm kurdish kurdish forces

6:37to spark uprising in iran according to sources is that true is that not true

6:42this is what uh this is what cnn is reporting i can tell you this

6:47that's that comes with a lot uh the whole kurdish thing we went through this

6:51in iraq and the kurds are often a pretty reliable allies they fight um they

6:58kept northern iraq very stable even during the worst periods of the iraqi insurgency anybody

7:04who was if you went from you know baghdad or ramadi or or mosul to

7:09erbil uh in the military military side it felt like you were in a completely

7:13different country uh if you were in what they called kurdistan but the turks get

7:18very aggravated because there's a lot of a lot of kurds in turkey and they

7:23they have their own separatist problem in turkey so it's just you're you're getting into

7:28midi's factionalism here what you need is someone who is a rational actor from within

7:35the existing apparatus not an ideologue not bloodied substantially by engaged in you know irgc

7:45coulds for stuff or whatever does this person exist i don't know i i you

7:51know we talked about venez venezuela is different venezuela has had democratic elections elections until

7:57quite recently and yes there's oppression and there's been the you know the maduro regime

8:03stole the last election and yes they've been thuggish and but clay you don't have

8:09to go back very far for there to be something resembling a real election in

8:13venezuela you go back to 2012 right right and and that's when uh chavez took

8:19took charge i believe right wasn't it 2012 uh 2011 2012 so in the islamic

8:25republic uh you got to talk rather you know in in iran you got to

8:30go back to 1979 and even then they didn't have elections they had a shah

8:35so what is the game plan for all of this i think it's being figured

8:40out on the fly but i think that secretary war hegsat's plan is we're going

8:45to completely defang the snake and then we'll see if the snake wants to play

8:49ball but the snake will have no fangs that is for sure and i just

8:54let me um let me make a suggestion because i know we got a lot

8:58of people uh in the uh administration who listen i think one of the most

9:02compelling arguments they can make and buck again tell me if you think this is

9:07crazy i made it yesterday but i haven't seen it because now the argument is

9:11well they haven't really been able to give us a full -throated explanation of what

9:16the motivation is well the motivation is clearly to keep iran from getting nuclear weapons

9:20that's the motivation for all of this this is basically doing to iran what we

9:27should have done to north korea in the 1990s the world would be infinitely better

9:32if that crazy fat dictator in north korea did not have nuclear weapons and and

9:38now that he does we can't really do anything the world is unstable because of

9:43him um do we want a now the only thing i will say in favor

9:49of kim jong -un to probably get clipped people be like clay travis loves kim

9:54jong -un clay travis loves kim jong -un loves all the big posters the potbelly

9:59all of it big kim jong -un guy here he's not a religious fundamentalist that's

10:04the only thing i think you can say in his favor north korea i don't

10:10think he's a religious fundamentalist is oh no he is he's just he's just god

10:14but that's this is a whole other conversation he thinks he's god but yeah well

10:17that's but my point is fundamentalist when you're god but yeah okay fair enough well

10:21my point is he's not reading a book convinced that everybody else who is not

10:25a member of that religion is an infidel and he's not trying to impose his

10:32religion i don't think so i look you're coming too hard after my boy kim

10:36jong -un here i'm pretty familiar with north korea stuff but i gotta tell you

10:39they um they have the most crazy they're absolutely you know like we are vermin

10:47we not non -koreans are considered vermin in north korean propaganda i mean actually uh

10:53and and they'd use all kinds of but so they but it's a it's a

10:57crazy place we agree we we wish that they did not have nuclear weapons my

11:02point is to my knowledge north korea has been unable to in some way or

11:09even demonstrate that they're going to enact terror upon the rest of the world in

11:14a substantial way i know they had the one attack on the subway no they

11:18do terror they do the terrorism thing too so your your point is that basically

11:22you're going rogue i'm trying to be positive here in saying that i think iran

11:28having nuclear weapons is even more dangerous than north korea but the argument should be

11:34that north korea having nuclear weapons is absolutely awful for the world and if we

11:41had been smart in the early 90s we would have wiped out their ability to

11:45ever have nuclear weapons that's what we're doing with iran and i think iran is

11:50even more dangerous than north korea based on what they have demonstrated for 50 years

11:57now that they want to wipe many countries off the world including israel but also

12:02death to america everything else so the argument to me is pretty clear it is

12:07president trump is making a determination that for the next 40 years or 50 years

12:12or who knows how long we're not going to have to deal with the nuclear

12:16iran because it destabilizes the rest of the world even more than north korea does

12:21now and if we could go back in time into the 90s we would have

12:24wiped out north korea's nuclear ambitions i haven't heard anybody make that argument i think

12:28that's the best argument for what we're doing with iran right now we certainly didn't

12:32want another nuclear standoff like what we had with north korea but north korea has

12:38already been whether it's for proliferation or uh destabilizing activities supportive terrorism assassinations kidnappings uh

12:48the the north korean intelligence service operates like a uh a nation state backed uh

12:56you know basically terrorist operation so you're my argument of trying to be kind and

13:02say that iran is a more dangerous north korea you actually think north korea might

13:07be more dangerous in the craziest place north korea is the craziest place on planet

13:10earth by far i was too kind i was too kind to kim jong -un

13:13okay it's so they're really they're really but it would be good it would be

13:17good if we didn't have a north korean twin with nuclear weapons that to me

13:21is a really that week i co -sign that we did not need to understand

13:25i co -sign that we did not need a country with totalitarian dictatorship that also

13:31believes if we have a massive war it will hearken the return of the 12th

13:36imam and there's religious prophecy that will come out of the nuclear flames but north

13:42korea does want to kill everybody in south korea and probably america too so but

13:45do you think they really do or is that just a delusional crazy person more

13:51so like the the apparatus executed senior generals of the north korean regime with anti

13:56-aircraft pieces just to make a point they're pretty bad crazy he's crazy it's bad

14:01that he has nuclear weapons i just i look at north korea and say if

14:06kim jong -un was gone i think north korea actually could reconciliate with uh south

14:12korea and there is a way in which that country eventually could return to normalcy

14:17in the world um and and much of it is a cult of personality driven

14:24around one person um and uh maybe i'm just too kind to north korea there

14:30is the possibility maybe the headline should be clay is too kind to north korea

14:33you're gonna you're gonna get an invite to pyongyang at this rate you and dennis

14:37rodman we're gonna be just chilling playing a basketball game with uh with my boy

14:41kim jong -un um i will say the stories of what they did when that

14:45movie was made uh about the uh assassination of kim jong -un uh the interview

14:51i think with uh with uh uh james uh who did that movie back in

14:56the day do you remember that movie where they james franco yeah james franco and

15:00seth rogan that led to the hacking of sony which was a huge problem by

15:05the way just the point about north korea clay they also operate as nation state

15:08-backed global hackers trying to steal issue everything from crypto to state secrets to and

15:15what are you going to do you're going to go to interpol and say hey

15:17we think that we traced the source to north korea good luck with that one

15:21but if we could go back in time and wave a magic wand and we

15:24wiped out north korea's ability to ever have nuclear weapons north korea might not exist

15:28as a country today right like that would have been true that was so the

15:32analogy here of we're trying to avoid creating another north korea to me i think

15:38is a really good one have you heard anybody making that argument i haven't heard

15:40it anywhere well the argument you will hear people make is the is the qaddafi

15:44lesson isn't reconcile with america if you're a dictator it's get nukes as fast as

15:50you can because otherwise that's that's the other side of the way that's the rational

15:55choice to make and if you question it ukraine wouldn't have gotten invaded by russia

15:58if they hadn't given up their nukes that's also true and we promised them that

16:04that would never happen protect them and never allow that to happen the budapest memorandum

17:44First hour we talked a lot about Iran and the unbelievable aerial campaign that we

17:52are getting a lot of details from the Secretary of War.

17:54Pete Hegseth, commander of CENTCOM, I believe, did a pretty detailed briefing.

17:58I was watching that last night on what we are hitting in that country.

18:04And they are just any military.

18:06We own the sky. We have a technology and a military capacity that is just

18:12far beyond anything the Iranians could even imagine.

18:17And that is on full display.

18:19And the idea here is to completely neuter the Iranian military and make it so

18:29that they can't hit us.

18:31And now it's just a question or will become a question of what the political

18:35resolution will be when they no longer have the capacity to fire off missiles and

18:40create that kind of mayhem.

18:41We wanted to shift gears here for a second.

18:45Oh, and by the way, we will we will let you know if Clay decides

18:49to take a week on the beach in North Korea, if he wants to go

18:53to one of these North Korean resorts, we're going to make sure Laura has like

18:58extra special insurance, you know, kidnapping insurance in place for him.

19:01And and we we will let you know in advance before is that the only

19:05country buck that with your CIA expertise you think might be crazy enough to actually

19:12take an American hostage. And I mean, somebody they've done it before.

19:17Yeah. But I mean, like an actual media person, because a lot of times you'll

19:22see I wouldn't go to Russia.

19:23I wouldn't go to Russia either.

19:24I know there are some Americans, including on the right, who have been there.

19:27I wouldn't go to Russia because you just if they decide that there's something like

19:34I've been to China. But would you go now?

19:38I would. Yes, I would go back to China, but I would be very nervous

19:43about it. I would be I would not I would not be having a great

19:46time checking out all the temples and the history and everything else.

19:50I would be I when I went in, Clay, I didn't bring a single piece

19:54of electronics with me. Yeah.

19:55And that was because I knew from my old life what the Chinese do.

20:00And I didn't even bring a Kindle.

20:02I mean, nothing. If it had electricity, did not bring it.

20:05I brought a wind up watch.

20:06That was it. And then I rented a phone there.

20:10Guess what? With that. Yeah.

20:12Yeah, exactly. I rented a phone in country to use and just knew that everything,

20:17everything was being monitored and everything was being tracked.

20:19And that is the way that that country functions.

20:21And that, by the way, that is that is not paranoia.

20:24That is reality there. There's no it's not.

20:26Oh, maybe. Oh, no, I was being monitored for sure.

20:30So that that's that's a country that I would go back to under this or

20:34on behalf of the U .S.

20:36government. Absolutely. As a civilian, probably.

20:42I Russia. No way I would go as a civilian.

20:45I'd go on behalf of the U .S.

20:47government, but only in an official capacity and North Korea, certainly only in an official

20:53capacity, not as a not as a civilian, because, you know, everyone thinks that our

20:58government is going to have their back and take care of things.

21:00The State Department is pretty busy.

21:02You do not want to be relying on some embassy bureaucrat somewhere to be getting

21:07your case in front of the president, ASAP.

21:10Although hopefully Clay could call Trump and be like, your good friend, Buck, he's he's

21:15in Pyongyang in a dungeon.

21:17We got to get him out.

21:19Some people are saying, you know, I don't think Trump would let you or me

21:22rot in a Pyongyang dungeon, but it might take him a few days to get

21:26us out. So I would rather not do that.

21:34I would feel differently going as a civilian under Trump that I went under under

21:37a Democrat. We actually feel good because we like the Trump White House.

21:41And I do think Trump would get us out.

21:43But I don't know that Biden would.

21:44I don't know that I think Biden would let us rot for a while.

21:47Yeah, I really. do i think either of us i think that's just the nature

21:49of america today unfortunately that the democrats are so partisan on this stuff that they

21:56would want to make an example anyway uh so yes clay don't don't go to

21:59north korea and in the meantime we got james tallarico what does that have to

22:05do with anything well he's now the democrat nominee for that senate contest in texas

22:11and he has said some interesting things he has said some interesting things we talked

22:16about this in the last hour we mentioned we would get to this in the

22:19last hour by the way we're hoping that uh yael ekstein of the international fellowship

22:22of christians and jews will join us during the third hour she's in israel the

22:26calm situation there can be a little uh difficult getting all of our internet stuff

22:30lined up but we'll see if we can get her we'll certainly be talking to

22:33her soon about what the sense is from the ground in israel given the war

22:37with iran going on which of course israel's a participant in israel's engaged in these

22:41airstrikes too so here we have tallarico this was back in 2021 when he was

22:48a state rep this is cut 29 listen to this i want us all to

22:52be aware of is that that modern science obviously recognizes that there are many more

22:58than two biological sexes in fact there are six which honestly represent hefner surprised me

23:04too surprised me too because i i you know am not well versed in this

23:09this issue area i'm not a scientist i'm a politician a lot worse than a

23:13scientist there are six sexes would you even know what they would be i mean

23:19i'm gonna say i have two good guests somebody would have been great to just

23:26push him on this thing be like okay since you think there are six what

23:30are the six do you think you and i could come up with a male

23:34female now playing their crazy game trans non -binary that's four okay we got we

23:45got two more buddy i'm i'm blanking out right here but is trans even one

23:51that you would acknowledge i thought the whole thing with trans was i'm sorry clay

23:55are you erasing trans people right now yes of course i think i'm actually making

24:00the pro trans i thought the whole trans argument is that they're actually just the

24:05sex that they claim they are you this is fascinating because you are correct and

24:12yet i think it is recognized as one of the six in the talarico uh

24:17construct world yes so it could be trans so trans female trans male would be

24:22two even though they're arguing that they're actually the same right that that this is

24:28not a train like so and then inter would intersects be one like where you're

24:32actually a mix of male female which is a biological reality probably it did that

24:39that is a very rare it used to be called hermaphrodite is that a bad

24:42word now i don't know what no no no that you still use now in

24:46that context i'm not sure what's appropriate and then with hermaphrodites often there is we're

24:55talking science here folks so i'm just be just trying to be often it's there's

24:59more of one set of gonads than the other and usually a hermaphrodite will have

25:07for example a micro penis which is a real thing it is it is there

25:13are a lot of i know a lot of you want to make jokes about

25:15democrats right now but there's a real thing i made it is yep uh there's

25:20a there's there's a and that hermaphrodite this is science i can hear i can

25:26just feel some of them laughing as this is science usually if you are a

25:31hermaphrodite they treat you as a woman and pump you full of estrogen right isn't

25:37that typically the way i think you are generally more female than male as a

25:41hermaphrodite hence the micro penis reality which i think they because it is it's truly

25:46like a vestigial and so it can be removed and you get into whether your

25:51gonads are internal or external obviously external gonads would be male genitalia i believe hermaphrodites

25:58tend to have the internal genitalia which is why they are all for a whole

26:03bunch of reasons they're more female uh than male and that is how they go

26:07but okay but but back to the six sexes so we're here we're on the

26:10game show this is not going to play well in texas buck the six sexes

26:14there i hear our texas what the heck is buck talking about internal gonads external

26:20gonads i'm just saying the six sexes when they put this ad up and he's

26:25wearing a mask and he's testifying under oath that there are actually six genders uh

26:31or six sexes most texans are going to say what is going to become rapidly

26:36uh uh clear as these ads start to run this guy is not some moderate

26:42middle of the road religious democrat which is the way that they are going to

26:47try to contextualize him he's actually as crazy as most democrats are maybe even crazier

26:53this this is this is producer uh producer greg i think just pulled this for

26:58us so in this case his six sexes he's talking about chromosomal abnormalities so it's

27:09actually not they're talking he's talking about sex in the context of chromosomes not gender

27:19identity so we went to gender i you know this is the we went to

27:23gender identity he's talking about things like xy is male uh xx is female just

27:32x is turner syndrome xxy is klinefelter syndrome xyy is jacobs syndrome and xxxy okay

27:42by the way these are all scientific or medical realities they're very very rare none

27:48of this has anything to do with the gender identity discussion or debate that the

27:53left is obsessed with correct so so the only one that would would uh you

27:57have to look at it i don't even know what all these different i mean

27:59teen look up how common are these things and by the way that's only five

28:03so i don't think again he didn't further answer to your point this is one

28:08where the follow -up question should have been okay sorry what are the six genders

28:13this is just them looking this up and giving us five um here is uh

28:20here he is saying but hold on a second hold on a second it klinefelter

28:24syndrome is a genetic condition in males yeah right that's what i'm saying this is

28:29not this is not a this is not this doesn't mean you're a different he's

28:32talking about the gender identity stuff and they didn't but no but he's trying to

28:37conflate it is my point he's playing games here because this is what i was

28:40gonna say i was saying if you if you have an extra chromosome you have

28:43some uh you generally have low fertility and and maybe this is why he knows

28:47so much about this low testosterone um but you're a guy no one thinks you're

28:52not a guy you just have a chromosomal issue right so you're not a different

28:56sex here are a couple of other examples of this guy being crazy by the

29:03way and this is why i think uh again his trans takes here are going

29:08to be everywhere and most texans are going to say this guy's crazy he says

29:12trans people need abortions too woman is not an exhaustive term cut 27 does this

29:18sound like a texan moderate to you i want to acknowledge that our trans community

29:24needs abortion care too defending trans texans is something we have to do every day

29:28at the state capital and you better believe i'll be giving sermons on that too

29:32so when i use the word woman it should not be understood as an exhaustive

29:37term but rather as a as a lens through which to understand examine and interrogate

29:43patriarchy oh my god this dude's crazy buck no this guy's he's a he's a

29:49preacher of malik i mean he he is somebody who cloaks himself in biblical verse

29:54in order to promote the the teachings of the antichrist i don't know what else

30:00to say i mean this guy is out of his mind this stuff that he's

30:02saying is completely like what what christian what christian faith does he say that he

30:07represents or how does he get here you need you need to have trans kids

30:12you need to have abortion all nine months of a pregnancy you know what else

30:17does he want to add into the mix how does he feel about polyamory how

30:21does he feel about having nine wives i just i can't wait to see him

30:24start to explain that one to us you know what about a thruple where he

30:28could i guarantee you this guy could find you a biblical justification for being in

30:33a thruple um it's not a surprise that all of this is coming out now

30:38i would just say i think there's been a little bit of play in possum

30:42uh when it comes to tallarico and democrats have been saying oh he's a very

30:48moderate middle of the road guy there's actually a lot of crazy out there from

30:52him and uh i don't think it's coincidental that he wins the nomination and suddenly

30:58you're starting to see all of the opposition research that's been done on him uh

31:03i again i i think democrats i would encourage them spend tens of millions of

31:07dollars flood the texas economy with a lot of your dollars from outside the state

31:13and uh let's see what texans think of this because i don't think this race

31:16is going to be close whether ken paxton or john cornyn ends up being the

31:21uh the nominee by the way caroline levitt has just taken the podium for a

32:59Welcome back in. Hour number three, Clay Travis Buck Sexton show.

33:03It is a significant news Wednesday, as many of these days often are.

33:09Let's take you back into exactly what has transpired.

33:13We had a very powerful press conference, as we discussed earlier in the show, from

33:19Pete Hegseth on the situation in Iran.

33:22We will update you on that.

33:25But the big takeaway is that we are close to complete and total air superiority

33:30in Iran, and that I do believe things are going better and faster than anticipated

33:39if they had tried to forecast how this attack was going to go.

33:45We'll come back to that in a sec and play a couple more of those

33:48cuts from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.

33:51But in Texas, as we told many of you, was likely to be the case.

33:57We had James Tallarico beat our good friend Jasmine Crockett.

34:01It pains me, as we said earlier in the program, to see the Texas Democrat

34:06Party engage in such blatant racism, Buck, for a white man to beat a black

34:11man like that, a black woman like this.

34:13Can I just point out that it's painful to my heart?

34:16Can I just point out that Clay was suddenly wearing his Crockett gear a whole

34:21lot more? All I'm seeing Crockett T -shirts, Crockett sweatshirts.

34:25He says it's for the coffee company that we own, but I thought it was

34:30a little suspicious that right when Jasmine Crockett was in the political fight of her

34:34life, Clay was Mr. Crockett all of a sudden.

34:37I'm just saying. So Jasmine Crockett goes down.

34:41We talked about this earlier in the show.

34:43We had some deep dive into it.

34:46Buck, I think the reality is this is kind of what you wanted.

34:48And MSNBC or MSNOW, whatever the heck they're called, CNN, The View, they're all going

34:56to be throwing money at Jasmine Crockett to become a television personality.

35:00Her congressional career is over.

35:02And the other big name I would say that went down, as we discussed earlier

35:07in the program as well, Buck, is Dan Crenshaw.

35:10I did not know Dan Crenshaw well, but he had quite the public profile.

35:15Have we ever had him on the program?

35:16I think maybe we did.

35:17I don't think so. I think that, Clay, before you and I teamed up, I

35:21might have interviewed him one time early on.

35:24And I remember, look, I'm just going to say it, there was so much enthusiasm

35:29around, because you go, oh, gosh, this guy is a combat veteran, Navy SEAL, wounded

35:37veteran. This is just like what you would create in a conservative laboratory of congressional

35:46excellence. Well, this is the guy we want in Congress.

35:48And I have tremendous respect, obviously, for what he did as a SEAL.

35:51And none of that changes.

35:54But man, the base turned on him.

35:56And neither you nor I have.

35:58Look, you guys know when we don't like somebody.

36:00I try to be honest about it, but also be fair about it.

36:03You know if we don't like somebody.

36:04I never met the guy.

36:06I have no beef with him, no problem with him.

36:08So many people I know in politics and in media despise that guy.

36:14And it just strikes me as, how?

36:17We asked Michael Berry. Michael Berry was not holding back on it.

36:21You can go back and listen to the interview.

36:22Well, so that's the big upset, I would say, that came out of the Republican

36:28primary. We told you that this was likely to happen as well.

36:32And man, get your two by fours because I think it's going to get even

36:37nastier. Ken Paxton and John Cornyn basically ran dead even in the Texas Republican Senate

36:45primary. So Tallarico has advanced.

36:48He is the Democrat nominee.

36:49He's way more radical, go figure, than they have let you know.

36:53And we will certainly dive into that race as it gets closer to November.

36:59But in the meantime, John Cornyn, current incumbent senator, and Ken Paxton are going to

37:07go. Both of them around 41, 42 % of the vote.

37:12Wesley Hunt, who we had on the program yesterday, got around 13 or 14 %

37:17in third place. So he is eliminated.

37:20And now tons of money will get spent.

37:23I would imagine both Paxton and Cornyn are going to be asking President Trump for

37:29an endorsement. So far, President Trump has not endorsed anybody in this race.

37:33We'll see what he does in late May.

37:36So a little over two months from now, we will officially have a Republican nominee.

37:41So I was texting with Buxom as these results came in.

37:44No big surprises in Arkansas or North Carolina.

37:49Our friend Michael Watley is going to run against former Governor Roy Cooper.

37:54We got an invite out.

37:56We almost had him scheduled the other day.

37:58I'm sure Michael Watley is going to be hugely important as we look towards the

38:04Senate because that is a Republican seat in North Carolina and Democrats have to flip

38:10four Senate seats. It's given J .D.

38:12Vance having the tie -break buck in order to be able to take back control

38:15of the U .S. Senate.

38:17We had Cornyn scheduled, and they just said they had a scheduled conflict.

38:22Maybe that is the case, but you would think he would come on this show

38:26at some point, given the primary that he's in now, the extended primary.

38:32And if he doesn't, I think it's telling us something.

38:36That I will say. Look, schedule stuff comes up, even if it's very last minute,

38:41and even if it's after our good friend Michael Berry throws a roundhouse kick with

38:45his cowboy boots on right to the face of your campaign.

38:48However, however, maybe it was just a little change, but we'd like him to come

38:53on at some point. We have some questions for Mr.

38:57Cornyn. Well, it's only fair, and again, we also invited Tallarico and Jasmine Crockett, because

39:03unlike CBS, and I do think this is a big story, Buck, in general.

39:09Again, the CBS attempt, it may well have been the difference maker for Tallarico, who

39:15outspent Jasmine Crockett by 5 -1.

39:19I think it was $25 million to $5 million, something like that.

39:22And that added raise of money that he got from the censorship that they claimed

39:28on Colbert might have been what propelled him to the victory.

39:33I mean, he won by a relatively slim amount.

39:37I mean, it was very close.

39:38And I know some of you flipped over and voted in the Democrat side.

39:44But Tallarico won by about 6 -7 points, with 93 % of the vote in,

39:50at least. And I do think that that is maybe part of the result, is

39:56that they helped rig it for him and the Democrat Party.

39:59I would say, Clay, that in the interest of fairness, because we have invited Tallarico

40:05on, I still would love to have Jasmine Crockett on.

40:08I believe if Jasmine Crockett comes on, unless there's some ethics thing with she's in

40:12Congress, there's all these weird ethics rules in Congress now.

40:15You basically can't buy someone more than a coffee, and it causes a problem.

40:19I was going to say, I'll send her a Crockett sweatshirt.

40:21Like, I would love to have Jasmine Crockett on the show.

40:23We would have a very fun conversation.

40:25But for James Tallarico, I'll even give him the questions in advance.

40:29It's like he's getting a little sneak peek of the test.

40:31I would first want to ask him, is the future female, James?

40:35I just want to hear what he has to say to that.

40:37And then, Clay, if you wanted to follow up with, can a man become a

40:40woman? Listen, I feel like we'd have a robust conversation with James Tallarico about this.

40:45And then you could ask him about whether God is non -binary, which also came

40:49up recently. He said that.

40:51He also said, and again, he's got a lot of clips out there.

40:55By the way, that's so I'm triggered by this.

40:56God is clearly trans, James.

40:58We all know. God is non -binary.

41:02He also said that basically we should have a wide open southern border.

41:05So, again, the fever dream of the Democrat Party has been that they can flip

41:12Texas. They've been trying to do it for a long time now.

41:15They have not won a statewide race in the state of Texas since 1994.

41:21But that is at least worth contemplating how that's going to shake out.

41:27Your good buddy, Joe Scarborough, said, boy, Republicans really blew it.

41:33Here is cut three, how MSNBC is covering all of this, the outcome in the

41:42Texas primary. Cut three. Here's yet another example, I swear.

41:46I just wish these Republicans weren't so stupid.

41:49I wish they'd listen to me.

41:51I'm trying to help them out a little bit here just to make it a

41:53fair fight in the fall.

41:54But what did we say?

41:55What did we say, first of all, when they took Colbert off the air?

41:59You're going to pay for it.

42:00They did pay for it with South Park three or four days later, deciding they're

42:04going to lean in even harder, right?

42:06And so here they try to keep Tallarico off the show.

42:10What happens? They give him a boost.

42:12If you talk to Jasmine Crockett, she'll say the same thing.

42:14I was ahead until that controversy.

42:16So the very person they were trying to defeat, the very person whose message scared

42:22them, is the very person who they helped win this race.

42:27His political analysis is what you would expect from a guy who told us in

42:322024 that Joe Biden was the sharpest he had ever been in his entire life,

42:36Clay. This is not a surprise that Joe Scarborough doesn't know his ass from his

42:40elbow. This is so dumb that it honestly kind of blows my mind that either

42:47he is really, really legitimately not informed on this story or he is intentionally lying.

42:55There's only two options here because Republicans had nothing to do with this.

43:00Nothing at all. The Colbert show, for those of you who have forgotten, set up

43:06a fake story, which was we're going to have James Tallarico on.

43:11CBS's lawyer said, hey, if you're going to have Tallarico on, you need to have

43:16Jasmine Crockett on as well because she is a contender in this race on the

43:21equal time doctrine. And maybe, arguably, you should also have Republicans on, but that's a

43:28whole other debate. And they pitched a fit.

43:32All they had to do was put on Jasmine Crockett, too.

43:35This is one where I think Jasmine Crockett actually is.

43:38legitimately had a rig job run against her but this was all a democrat operation

43:44they desperately wanted talrico what he's got backward is a lot of us would have

43:49preferred jasmine crockett because jasmine crockett had a zero percent chance of winning i think

43:55talrico has a five to ten percent chance of winning still low but zero to

44:00five to ten if you gave me a choice between the two options and i

44:04was wanted the republicans to win i'd take the zero i'm with you though i

44:08just i feel like i need to go find a safe space and to weep

44:14some liberal tears about all the mansplaining and the racism uh i'm sorry i thought

44:21the future was female james talrico joe scarborough stephen colbert apparently not if we're talking

44:29jasmine crockett you know the what you have a black woman who could be the

44:34the next standard bearer of the democrats and they did everything they could they bernie

44:40sanders her totally bernie sanders her they totally bernie sanders her and you know what

44:46is actually also funny about this story on the national political stage kamala endorsed jasmine

44:53crockett on sunday i believe this weekend uh and did a robo call and said

44:59everybody get out and vote for jasmine crockett jasmine crockett then lost and kamala now

45:05has flipped and endorsed endorsed talarico i i just think it's when you endorse a

45:10person and then the next day you endorse the other person basically that's a tough

45:16that's a tough situation to find yourself in she could have just set out the

45:20whole thing i'm sure that kamala's advisors got in her ear and they said hey

45:25this is another black woman who's running for office you need to you know continue

45:30to lock down black female support speak out for her but do it late so

45:35uh the the impact will be minimal if she loses people won't talk about it

45:40as much and then immediately flip and endorse the white guy once the black woman

45:45loses i mean it is very funny that we ended up in this situation uh

45:49all of the people doing absolutely fantastic work at the ifcj air sirens going right

45:56now across israel constantly basically missiles coming in from iran from hezbollah lives lost as

46:03a result the ifcj they are committed to just trying to keep as many people

46:08safe in israel as possible uh they have large -scale distributions of food for people

46:13who are in need they have first aid they are constantly building more bomb shelters

46:18you know if you're driving down the road in israel you get an alert on

46:21your phone that there are missiles coming in this is how people live in israel

46:24you just pull off the side of the road as close as you can to

46:28the nearest bomb shelter and then you just find yourself clustering in that bomb shelter

46:33uh with tons of people you don't even know that is the life that they

46:37lead on a regular basis just completely normal hey there's about to be missiles that

48:46the future to be female and uh they they see a a powerful black woman

48:51and they stand they threw everything in her way these democrats it was dirty it

49:25President Trump has posted, because we have a runoff now, right now, between John Cornyn,

49:32current senator in Texas, and Ken Paxton.

49:35And President Trump has just posted that he is going to be endorsing soon, and

49:40he expects the other candidate to drop out.

49:44And we don't know exactly how that endorsement would go or what that might be.

49:50But James Tallarico, we've been playing cuts from him.

49:53We'll play a few more for you during the course of the show.

49:56He is like a crazy left winger.

49:59It feels like Republicans have been playing possum a little bit here, because he got

50:04the nomination, and suddenly there's 20 videos of him saying crazy things that are immediately

50:09out. What's your read on this, regardless of who the Republican nominee is?

50:14Is Tallarico a threat? No, Tallarico is not a threat at all.

50:19He's one of these guys.

50:20He's a state rep here.

50:21People aren't going to know him, but they'll start to know him now, that he's

50:24going to get national recognition.

50:25But he's well -known here as being a far -left loon.

50:29His little district is far left.

50:31He's been a far -left loon his entire time here in the Texas state legislature.

50:36And because he's been in the legislature, he's on camera saying all of these things.

50:41He is going to get curb stomped in November.

50:44He has no chance whatsoever.

50:46The things he says will go over like a turd in a punch bowl in

50:50Texas. He has no chance whatsoever.

50:53We all just have to sit back right now and hope and cross our fingers

50:57that Donald Trump doesn't do what I'm very worried he might do for all the

51:02things he does well. He might be the worst endorser of candidates in the history

51:06of the Republican Party. He will find the biggest rhino swamp rat loser and repeatedly

51:12endorse these people. We have a real opportunity to take a rhino scalp and remove

51:18John Cornyn from the GOP, which he should have been removed a long time ago.

51:22And if Donald Trump kneecaps those efforts, I am going to be so irate.

51:27I might just spike my microphone off the desk if he does it.

51:30I hope he's not going to do it.

51:32I very much worry that he is going to do it.

51:34What happened with Dan Crenshaw, Jesse?

51:36He's right. He's pretty close to you.

51:38I mean, you're a Houstonian, which Houston is like the size of Switzerland.

51:44So I don't know if he's close to you in terms of the geography of

51:49his district, but he is in your general neck of the woods.

55:57the more stuff we blow up the more of it we're gonna blow up they're

56:04can even get started what do you think about these moves yeah they're being completely

56:09annihilated and overwhelmed it's it's already over once you've lost air superiority especially to a

56:15country like the united states of america that can force project clear across the globe

56:20we can fly planes from iowa and bomb iran it's it's staggering what we are

56:25capable of what our navy's capable of iran is finished the regime is finished we

56:31are we clearly know where everyone is where everything of significance is right now it's

56:37going to be a very enjoyable television show for americans we should keep in mind

56:42we already have americans who lost their lives to this keep their families in our

56:46prayers i i will just emphasize the point i made i'm still cautious and hesitant

56:51right now but not because i'm concerned about our military success over there it's easy

56:56to break things it's hard to make things it's not hard for the united states

57:00of america to wipe out the ayatollah and every single scumbag in iran we want

57:05to it is another thing entirely to install a government friendly to us and acceptable

57:10to the people that will be when it gets a little dice how much do

57:15you think i know you're a military history guy too buck and i both love

57:19to read about military history the degree to which war now takes place basically like

57:24a video game uh where for many people we experience it we see hey we

57:29drop this bomb the number of boots on the ground uh entanglements seems to have

57:35diminished you got even even in and i know they have the lines of battle

57:39in ukraine and russia but much of that is now being fought by drones how

57:43much do you think there is a huge difference in the mind of many people

57:48out there between hey we're putting a lot of people on the ground we're building

57:52bases to buck's point the other day suddenly you have you know a mcdonald's in

57:56iran on an american military base versus we're just bombing from above we're sending in

58:02drones from above how much different does that strike the american public in your mind

58:07i think that we as a people as a whole i think we enjoy the

58:13video of it and especially when we're winning and slapping people around you that's the

58:18kind of thing that makes you want to wave your american flag hey we got

58:20maduro hey we're we're bombing the crap out of iran and what is it as

58:23you mentioned it's on your phone right it's on twitter it's on facebook or wherever

58:26wherever you get social media you're watching it happen in real time and when you're

58:30the one doing the winning it feels really really good i also think we are

58:36probably for worse a very flighty people now probably for a variety of reasons where

58:41people get bored of things that people will move on i think iran is going

58:46to be hot for a week and then when the matter what else is still

58:50going on the american people are going to move on the television show is going

58:53to get old how many times do you have to watch something get blown up

58:55before you're like okay i've seen this movie before and then i'm going to go

58:59complain about something else i i think people have a very short attention span now

59:03and the trump administration i'm sure understands that he's been excellent at foreign policy i'm

59:08sure he understands this thing needs to get wrapped up as quickly as possible jesse

59:16one last one last question for you oh sorry i just i i was off

59:20for a second i was just saying and he had his mic off for a

59:23moment no i was just saying that was actually quite good i was like uh

59:26i felt like uh the raging cajun in old school and he's like that was

59:30perfect uh let me ask you this uh as we uh as we go out

59:34uh normal guys when you see the way that the democrats and sports media and

59:41legacy media responded to the u .s men's hockey team um does that resonate uh

59:47do you think there's lots of normal guys just kind of looking around like so

59:51the president calling because we won a gold medal now is is a huge story

59:55or is it like you just said stories vanish so quickly that most people don't

1:00:07For 24, 48 hours, the American media, most definitely the sports media, reminded everybody how

1:00:13much disdain they have for just normal dudes, not even hardcore political people like us,

1:00:21watch a football game. The hockey team laughed at a pretty innocent joke the president

1:00:26made, and the media had to make it a big I am woman, hear me

1:00:29roar story. And for normal people, well, look at the Democrat numbers with men.

1:00:34This is why men have fled the Democrat Party.

1:00:37They continue to flee the Democrat Party.

1:00:39They're tired of being talked down to for just being a normal dude.
