Trump Blinks on Iran as Deadline Strikes
4/22/202614 mincomplete
0:00Donald Trump has completely folded yet again with respect to his ceasefire deadline that was
0:07imposed by the previous negotiations with Iran.
0:11It was set to expire in a few hours, and Donald Trump continued to threaten
0:16Iran that you better accept our terms or else Donald Trump posted previously that he
0:22was going to start destroying bridges and civilian infrastructure.
0:25Donald Trump then had this naval blockade around the Persian Gulf, and he started interdicting
0:32at least two Iranian ships.
0:34And Donald Trump's like, you like this?
0:36We're going to escalate even more if you don't negotiate with us.
0:40So we're going to send J .D.
0:41Vance and Whitcoff and Kushner to Islamabad, and you better negotiate with us.
0:46And Iran was like, we're not going to negotiate with you as long as you
0:50have a naval blockade in the Persian Gulf.
0:52We believe that is a violation of the ceasefire terms, and we view it as
0:57an act of war. We're also not going to negotiate with you under constant threats.
1:02And based on your contradicting statements, one day you're going to destroy the civilization.
1:07The next day you're saying you're going to make a deal that's better than Obama's.
1:10We need clarity in these discussions.
1:13And Iran said as long as the naval blockade exists and Trump continues to misrepresent
1:17our negotiating positions, we're not showing up to Iran.
1:20So Foreign Minister Aragji, M .B.
1:23Ghalibbaf, the parliament leader, and others who were part of the Iranian negotiating team, signaled
1:28to the mediator, Pakistan, that as long as Donald Trump continues down this path, Iran
1:32was not going to show up to Islamabad, Pakistan.
1:36Now, remember last week Donald Trump said last Thursday there was going to be discussions
1:40in Islamabad. That didn't happen for the past three days.
1:43Donald Trump is saying J .D.
1:44Vance, Whitcoff, and Kushner, they're on their way.
1:46They're on their way. Or how about at the end of last week when Donald
1:49Trump said Iran agreed to all of our terms, right?
1:52They're basically surrendering in the negotiation in order to manipulate the markets on Friday.
1:57Well, now Donald Trump posted that the ceasefire deadline is going to be unilaterally extended
2:03by the United States. And then Donald Trump blames Iran and saying, Iran, they're so
2:08disorganized. So we're going to have to extend the ceasefire deadline because of how disorganized
2:14they were. Then Iran's leadership was like, we didn't request the extension of the ceasefire.
2:19That's all Donald Trump's doing.
2:21We are just holding firm on the 10 -point framework we previously negotiated with the
2:27Trump regime. If they want to agree that we negotiate within our framework and they
2:32agree to our non -negotiables, we'll show up in Pakistan.
2:34But if not, we're not going to show up, waste our time, and then have
2:39Donald Trump use our appearance to further psychologically distort the reality on the ground and
2:46manipulate the media. We're not even going to show up to dignify the United States.
2:51Just think about that. The United States, which once, when it would, you know, we
2:56used to have countries begging to meet with the United States.
2:59Now you have Iran saying, we can't even be in the same room as you
3:03because being around you is going to cause distortion and lies.
3:10And it will look bad upon us to even be near you with all of
3:13your behavior. So here's what Donald Trump posted moments ago.
3:17Statement of Donald J. Trump as Trump fault.
3:20The statement is as follows, based on the fact that the government of Iran is
3:23seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so.
3:26And upon the request of Field Marshal Asim Yunir and Prime Minister Shabazz Sharif of
3:31Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our attack on the country of Iran until
3:35such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal.
3:39I have therefore directed our military to continue the blockade and in all other respects
3:43remain ready and able and will therefore extend the ceasefire until such time as their
3:48proposal is submitted. And discussions are concluded one way or the other, President Donald J.
3:53Trump. So basically, a indefinite extension, unclear, no more deadlines.
3:59And then Donald Trump blames Iran for not having a unified proposal when back in
4:03early March, Iran put forward its unified proposal, the 10 -point framework.
4:08Before the ceasefire was entered, Donald Trump agreed to Iran's 10 -point framework.
4:13Whether you like or don't like the framework, it doesn't matter.
4:17Iran's platform and unified framework was that.
4:21Trump agreed to it. Then Trump's like, oh, the Iranians don't know English.
4:24So that's why the 10 -point framework that I agreed to was different than what
4:29Iran's been saying it is.
4:30And Iran's saying, you agreed to this, so we'll negotiate there, but we have no
4:34reason to negotiate with you otherwise.
4:36And then Donald Trump here further extending the blockade, which Iran views as an act
4:41of war. Iran saying, we never ask for the ceasefire.
4:45Your blockade is an act of war.
4:47And stop misrepresenting us that we're not unified.
4:50What are you talking about?
4:51And then what the Trump regime did is they reached out to Barack Ravid and
4:54all of their usual suspects who act as stenographers for the regime and are propagandists
5:00for the regime like Barack Ravid and others.
5:02And they're like, we hear the reason why that this had to be extended is
5:06because we were waiting to hear from the Ayatollah, Monjaba, and he hasn't responded yet.
5:10No, it's because Donald Trump.
5:11Trump once again did a taco.
5:13He chickened out. He threatened something and he wasn't able to actually follow through.
5:19And Iran's like, we don't want to meet with you.
5:21Iran never requested an extension of the ceasefire arrangements with the U .S., is what
5:26Iranian media is stating. An advisor to Iranian parliament speaker, M .B.
5:31Goluboff, says Trump's ceasefire extension makes no sense, calling it an attempt to buy time
5:36for a surprise attack and claiming Iran currently holds the initiative as tensions escalate.
5:43From Iranians, Tasman News, here's what they posted.
5:46What is the meaning of Trump's time -free extension?
5:49According to information obtained by Tasnim from various sources, Iran had not requested an extension
5:54of the ceasefire and Trump's announcement regarding the extension of the ceasefire without specifying any
6:00timeline for this matter could carry with it several implications.
6:04Number one, Trump has been defeated in the war and had also examined all possible
6:08scenarios during the war. Trump knows that he will achieve nothing through war, so he
6:12considers exiting the war as the best option for himself because even if he continues
6:18the war with a foolish decision, he will gain no achievement too.
6:21Although the war will bring no gains for America, one should not deem it unlikely
6:26from Trump's side that anything, including the extension of the ceasefire might be a deception.
6:32Trump may claim to extend the ceasefire, but afterwards the same terrorist American government or
6:37his rabid regional dog, namely Israel, might resort to assassination.
6:42According to Tasnim's information, this option is definitely in the minds of Iranian officials and
6:48Iran does not take this matter lightly.
6:50Three, another possibility is the United States withdrawing from the war while Israel remains in
6:56this war under the pretext of a ceasefire violation in Lebanon.
7:00However, Americans have previously been warned that the United States cannot unilaterally escape the war
7:05while keeping Israel in the fight.
7:07Four, Iran will not reopen at least the Strait of Hormuz until the naval blockade
7:12continues, and if necessary, it will forcefully break the blockade.
7:16Five, America is seeking to perpetrate or perpetuate the shadow of war and suspend the
7:23economy and politics in Iran.
7:25America thinks that the situation is the same as after the 12 -day war.
7:29If America wants to maintain the shadow of war, it must also consider the Strait
7:34of Hormuz to be completely closed.
7:37Now, what is Donald Trump doing while all of these statements are coming out?
7:42Donald Trump just held a press conference, and he talks about college sports and men
7:48and women's sports or whatever, you know, this red meat for his MAGA bases.
7:53While all of this is going on, Donald Trump just held the press conference, and
7:56here's what he said during the press conference play of this clip.
7:59You are winners. You wouldn't be here if you weren't.
8:01The athletes here today represent the very best of that grit and determination and teamwork.
8:07That's why under my administration, we're fighting hard to save college sports.
8:13What's happening is crazy. It's crazy.
8:19And what we want to do is help athletes, like all of you in this
8:23room. And as soon as I took office, I ended a terrible injustice and banned
8:27men from competing in women's sports.
8:30I don't know if anybody agrees.
8:31Does anybody agree with that, that men should be able to play in women's sports?
8:36Would you like to raise your hand?
8:38So far, I have never found anybody, but they say it's an 80 -20 issue,
8:44but I've never been able to find anybody.
8:46So I think it's a 99 to 1.
8:49Maybe it's a little bit more than that coach, right?
8:51Maybe it's 100 to nothing.
8:53I campaigned on that one all the time.
8:55I say there will be no men in women's sports and people would go crazy.
9:00But I mean, but you're politically correct.

10:38Now, that's the Kobayashi. letter explains, we have obtained more detail on Iran's final decision
10:43not to attend the talks with U .S.
10:45and Pakistan. So Iran said they're not showing up.
10:48Then Donald Trump extends the ceasefire unilaterally when Iran didn't request it.
10:52And then Trump blames Iran like the sociopath he is, showing how weak and pathetic
10:57he is. Details include, Iran says Pakistan brokered the 10 -point ceasefire plan was proposed.
11:02Iran believes this plan was undermined by weak enforcement.
11:05Iran believes the plan is also undermined by ongoing maritime pressure, namely Trump's naval blockade.
11:11Iranian officials believe talks are pointless amid the U .S.
11:14blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
11:16Iran has informed the U .S.
11:17via Pakistan mediators that it will not be attending the talks on Wednesday.
11:22AP is now reporting that Vice President Vance called off the trip with Whitcoff and
11:26Kushner. They said they're not going to show up.
11:28Iranian Foreign Minister Aragji posted the following message also.
11:32Blockading Iranian ports is an act of war and thus a violation of the ceasefire.
11:37Striking a commercial vessel and taking its crew hostage is an even greater violation.
11:43Iran knows how to neutralize restrictions, how to defend its interests, and how to resist
11:48bullying. Now, Iran just released this video as well as one of those Lego memes
11:53it does to taunt Donald Trump, showing the mood that it's in right now.
11:57Here, play this clip. Now, California Governor Gavin Newsom posted the following message moments ago.
12:16Open the Strait. Close the Strait.
12:18We are blockading. Lift the sanctions.
12:20Impose new sanctions. JD's in Pakistan.
12:22JD's not in Pakistan. Still blockading.
12:24We have an agreement. There's no agreement.
12:26That is fake news. Bombing again soon, maybe.
12:28Look at the reality of the Strait of Hormuz.
12:30As the U .S. gives Iran an indefinite ceasefire extension for future negotiations, the Strait
12:36of Hormuz remains effectively closed.
12:39Iran demonstrated over the weekend that it was able and willing to enforce the closure
12:43by firing on neutral ships or any ships that disobeyed.
12:47Also today, the White House has continued to formally present Congress with its $1 .5
12:52trillion Pentagon budget, which is a 42 % increase year over year while they say
12:58they don't have enough money for you to have health care while they want to
13:02kill you by ripping away your health care.
13:04They want to kill little girls and commit genocide with trillions of dollars of your
13:09taxpayer money going to it.
13:1150 % of total budget request is aimed at buying munitions, planes, tanks, and ships
13:16right there. And it should be noted that the Iranian ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Mogadam,
13:22said the following, it is a truth universally acknowledged that a single country in possession
13:27of a large civilization will not negotiate under threat and force.
13:32This is a substantial Islamic and theological principle.
13:36I wish the U .S.
13:38would have perceived it. That's where we are right now.

13:46Donald Trump folds. Iran is mocking him.
