Trump Loses It as Clinton Deposition Backfires in His Face
2/26/202620 mincomplete
0:00Donald Trump is losing it this morning as his plan with the MAGA Republicans to
0:05depose former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
0:10It is blowing up in Donald Trump and MAGA's face right now.
0:15So in Chappaqua, New York, you have Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton's deposition taking place
0:20today. But what the press were asking the MAGA Republicans who showed up for these
0:25depositions, although they weren't at Les Wexner's depositions, but what the people want to know
0:30and what the press want to know is, why is Donald Trump covering up FBI
0:35302 interviews from survivors who have accused Donald Trump of sexual assault when they are
0:43minors? So that was posed to James Comer.
0:47Comer, what do you have to say about that?
0:49Here, play this clip. Are you concerned that there has been a cover -up of
0:53sexual abuse of a minor by President Trump that are missing FBI records?
0:58No, we're looking into the accusation by the NPR.
1:03We don't know the answer to that.
1:05We know what the administration says.
1:07We're still looking to get a definitive answer on that.
1:11Also, James Comer and the MAGA Republicans who showed up to Hillary Clinton's deposition in
1:17connection with Epstein. Why in the world are the Clintons being deposed here?
1:23What are we even talking about?
1:25Clinton's name's not even in Hillary Clinton's name's not even in the files.
1:28But okay, you want to go there, Comer?
1:31All right. What about Howard Lutnick?
1:33Why isn't Howard Lutnick's deposition taking place?
1:36And watch what James Comer says.
1:38Here, play this clip. We'll do one more question.
1:40Go ahead. In spirit of bipartisanship, would you then ask the Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick
1:44to come testify? It seems like he has some information.
1:48That's very possible. And I think it's a good possibility that his name will arise
1:54in some questioning today. It'll be on my list.
1:56And I have an email I printed off for Hillary to ask about Howard Lutnick
1:59today. We're asking, again, and I want to remind everyone, we've already brought in Alex
2:06Acosta and Bill Barr for depositions.
2:09That's two Republicans in the Trump administration.
2:12So this isn't just about Democrats.
2:14This is about anyone that has any knowledge of Epstein, the investigation.
2:19I think we all agree the government failed.
2:22The government failed the victims.
2:24And what our role is, we can't prosecute anyone.
2:27But what we have been doing is getting transparency with American people.
2:32We subpoena. Then you have Democratic Congress member Garcia.
2:36He held his press conference outside where Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton were being deposed.
2:41And Congress member Garcia says, what we really need to be talking about are the
2:46fact that, or is the fact that Donald Trump and his regime are hiding massive
2:52amounts of information from the Epstein files.
2:55And specifically, we know he's hiding files that are from individuals who say that when
3:00they were minors, Donald Trump sexually assaulted them.
3:03Those accusations are now being hidden.
3:06Watch Congress member Garcia make it clear what should really be discussed right now.
3:12Here, play this clip. But I also want to say, what I think is very
3:14important, that at this very moment, the Department of Justice continues to lead a White
3:21House cover -up. And we're going to be demanding, even over these next few days,
3:26that the remaining files have not been...
3:27up and release, get released to the public.
3:31And that includes new files that were just discovered in the last couple days of
3:38a survivor that has made serious accusations and allegations against not just Jeffrey Epstein, but
3:46also against President Trump and about abuse that she suffered when she was a minor.
3:52We have seen the DOJ files and the archive manifest that clearly shows that the
4:00interviews and information around this survivor have been removed and are missing from the DOJ
4:09files. Where are these files?
4:14Who removed them? Those questions have to be answered.
4:19What we have is a survivor that we have verified, that others have verified, and
4:27those files are missing. It's not just those.
4:29It's an additional 50 % of files that are missing.
4:31It is unconscionable. It is illegal.
4:35And Pan Bondi and the president need an answer to where those files are.
4:40And that's going to continue to drive our - Then you have Democratic Congressmember Subramanian.
4:45Here's what he had to say.
4:46I'm Congressman Suhas Subramanian. We're here today in New York to talk to Hillary Clinton,
4:52and tomorrow to talk to former President Bill Clinton.
4:55I want to make clear that there are no Republicans in Ohio to talk to
4:59Les Wexner, who bankrolled Epstein's fortune, for the most part, and allowed a lot of
5:05his crimes to happen. Hillary Clinton, who maintains that she doesn't recall meeting Jeffrey Epstein,
5:11is here today. And we have a lot of Republicans here today.
5:15That underscores, to me, the partisan nature of what some of the Republicans on our
5:19committee and in Congress are doing and the way they're approaching this investigation.
5:24And meanwhile, they're not holding the Department of Justice accountable for breaking the law over
5:28and over again. There's two and a half million files that have not been released,
5:32and now we're hearing and seeing evidence of some of those files, including accusations against
5:38President Trump. We know that there are other information in those files that clearly is
5:44not about protecting victims. It's about protecting people who committed crimes.
5:48And so we, as Democrats on the Oversight Committee, are going to continue to approach
5:53this investigation in a nonpartisan way, because all we want is the truth, and we
5:57want justice for the survivors.
5:58And we want to make sure this never happens again, no matter how rich and
6:02powerful the perpetrators are. Thank you.
6:04Also this morning, it should be noted that Borge Brend, the president and CEO of
6:10the World Economic Forum, remember that guy?
6:13Remember at Davos, he was the guy who was all chummy with Donald Trump.
6:16You see them on stage right there.
6:18Borge Brend, remember he posted on January 21st, it was a pleasure to welcome Donald
6:25Trump to Davos. At a time of significant economic, technological, and geopolitical change, the World
6:32Economic Forum provides a platform for leaders from government, business, and civil society to exchange
6:38views on issues shaping the world.
6:40Well, that guy, Borge Brend, has now announced that he's stepping down from his position.
6:46He's quitting, following an independent investigation into his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
6:52Oh, here's a photo of him and Steve Bannon as well.
6:55And so one of the things, first off, he was Norway's foreign minister, and then
7:00he took over the World Economic Forum in 2017.
7:03The recently released Epstein files, as you're right.
7:06reports .com, revealed that Brent had communicated with and met Jeffrey Epstein numerous times, despite
7:14stating he had not done so previously.
7:16Brent claimed that he was unaware of Epstein's criminal past, but the files show that
7:21he sent a thumbs up emoji to a link Jeffrey Epstein sent him of his
7:26criminal sentence. Controversy was also caused, Europa says, by Epstein and Brent ridiculing the wife
7:32of Benjamin Netanyahu and calling her Miss Piggy.
7:36I guess they use the name Piggy as well, the way Donald Trump refers to
7:40women as, but seems like it's the Epstein class protecting the Epstein class.
7:45But for Donald Trump, the message that he wants out this morning is that this
7:49is about the patriots versus the hatreds.
7:53Maybe Donald, it's about the pedos and pedo protectors like you and your regime versus
8:00the people. Maybe that's the divide that we're seeing right now.
8:04The Epstein class and everybody else, Donald, I think that's how the American people see
8:09it, Donald. And then the Epstein class protectors all had to rush on state regime
8:15media this morning to protect dear leaders, fragile, but rapidly deteriorating, cracking ego.
8:23So you had you had over here, Perino interviewing MAGA Republican Congress member, Pat Fallon.
8:33And so what do you think?
8:35The question was, what do you think?
8:37There seems to be a lot of questions that the Department of Justice may be
8:41suppressing files. What say you MAGA Republican congressman?
8:45And the MAGA Republican congressman goes, oh, it's Biden's fault.
8:48Biden released zero. Look at what we're doing right now.
8:51Everything with them is Biden, Biden, Biden.
8:54Hey, your dear leader is all over these files, bud.
8:5738 ,000 times in what has been released, potentially a million times in what hasn't
9:03been released. In what has been released, his name appears more than Harry in the
9:07Harry Potter series, more than God or Jesus in the Bible.
9:11But OK, go ahead and talk about Biden.
9:15Here, play this clip. For people that are following this story and are seeing that
9:19there's been a recent controversy and a question on whether the Department of Justice suppressed
9:24some of the information in the investigation that would have dealt with President Trump, how
9:28would you respond? Oh, not at all.
9:30I mean, we've been just look at the data right under the Biden White House
9:34in the DOJ. Zero files released.
9:36No videos, no images, nothing under.
9:38When we got control of the oversight committee, the Republicans released 65 ,000 documents.
9:43And the DOJ has now released 2 ,000 videos, 180 ,000 images and 3 .5
9:50billion documents and pages. We've been very forthcoming and very transparent.
9:54I'd like to know why the Democrats weren't interested in this when Joe Biden was
9:58president. OK, Chappaqua is about an hour away.

11:41Then you have Congress member, MAGA Republican Congress member Fallon saying, look, the reason that
11:46we need to depose Bill Clinton right now, the reason we're doing this is that
11:51we've never had a former president this close to a convicted felon.
11:58He's trying to say that Bill Clinton was close to Epstein.
12:02That's why you realize that Donald Trump is a convicted felon.
12:06You realize that Donald Trump's been found civilly liable for sex assault.
12:12You know, it's when people are like, oh, there's nothing in the files about Donald
12:16Trump. There's a ton in the files about Donald Trump.
12:18But even if I didn't look in the files, I could just look into life
12:22and I could be like, well, isn't that the guy who said and he brags
12:26that he sexually assaults women and grabs them by their genitals because when you're rich,
12:31you get away with it?
12:32Isn't that a direct quote?
12:33Doesn't he say that he inspects girls naked at beauty pageants?
12:36Because when you're the inspector, you get away with it.
12:40It's your job as the head of the beauty pageant.
12:43Isn't it that guy who found civilly liable for sexual assault?
12:45But go ahead, Fallon, go ahead.
12:47Here, play this clip. Here we are.
12:49We made a lot of accommodations.
12:51We came to them, but we just want to find out the truth.
12:54We want accountability and transparency for the American people and for the survivors of.
12:58So this never been done before.
13:00And a former president's never been compelled to appear before Congress.
13:04Is this where this is all heading as of today?
13:08Well, we've never had a former president either this close to a convicted felon either.
13:12I mean, it's problematic. Okay.
13:14But now they need their pivot, right?
13:16Oh no. What did we do?
13:18Now everybody's talking about Donald Trump and the accusations against him in the Epstein files.
13:24All right. Where are we going with this one?
13:27War with Greenland. So they start that again.
13:31Doug Burgum, Donald Trump's interior secretary, or someone says the secretary of the exterior, right?
13:39Why is the interior secretary talking about war with Greenland?
13:42But okay. War with Greenland day again, everybody.
13:45There they go. We need to take it over.
13:47Play this clip. What else can you tell us about that?
13:51Well, Ambassador Whitaker has it right.
13:53This is the strategic importance.
13:55Think of it as a bookend.
13:57Alaska on one end and Greenland on the other, really providing the shield, if you
14:03will, to protect North America and the United States.
14:07Absolutely critical. And of course, there is more activity up there, both Russia and China
14:13active in the Arctic. And we need to make sure that the U .S.
14:17is, if we're going to carry on the, as they call it, the Don Roe
14:20Doctrine, North and South America, free, Free from these interests of our adversaries, Greenland is
14:26key. Some people have described Greenland as, you know, one big piece of ice.
14:30It is two and a half times the size of Alaska, and Alaska is the
14:34size of California plus Arizona, plus New Mexico, plus Texas.
14:39Wow. And so the 80 % of Greenland that it does have ice, the 20
14:43% that doesn't in Greenland is the size of California.
14:47Size of California with 50 ,000 people living there.
14:49There's such an opportunity for the Greenlanders, such an opportunity for North America and the
14:55United States in a partnership.
14:57You know, just like, again, when we bought Alaska, there was hardly anybody living in
15:00Alaska. When the United States bought Alaska, you know, now 800 ,000 people and a
15:05major contributor to defense and a major contributor to U .S.
15:08energy. Then bring in NATO Ambassador Matt Whitaker.
15:10Warren Greenland, play this clip.
15:12Meanwhile, NATO reportedly falling behind Russia and China in the race to build up icebreakers
15:17and other tools critical for the potential war in the Arctic.
15:21Interior Secretary Doug Burgum is renewing President Trump's calls to take on Greenland, to take
15:26it, calling it a strategic vital asset for the U .S.
15:29economy and national security. The Secretary, of course, will join me at 8 a .m.
15:32Eastern, and he's going to talk more about that this morning.
15:35But where are the NATO allies at this point?
15:37Is this off the table or is this still a consideration for the United States
15:41to use Greenland as a critical security spot?
15:46I know the president has discussed wanting to build part of his Golden Dome on
15:50Greenland. Yeah, obviously, Greenland is a critical part of North American security.
15:56We have a high -level working group that's negotiating trilaterally with the United States, Denmark,
16:02and Greenland. War in Cuba.
16:04Let's strangle the regime, mega -Republicans say.
16:07War in Cuba, play the clip.
16:08Are we doing something other than strangling them?
16:13Well, that's what we need to do.
16:15We need to strangle the regime.
16:16For too long, we've been actively, not actively, but passively helping them.
16:22You know, we send remittances.
16:23We have flights. We allowed luxury goods to be exported from the United States, kind
16:29of circumventing the Helms -Burton law.
16:32Right now, you know, everything is, you know, the noose is tightening around their neck.
16:37They lost Venezuela, which was one of their prime, you know, friends in the region.
16:44Mexico is no longer helping them as much as they were in the past.
16:48And so they are slowly, slowly, you know, strangling to death, which can't come soon
16:53enough for me. We need that regime to go.
16:56So the regime is causing this humanitarian crisis in Cuba.
17:00And the faster they go, the faster that we can help the Cuban people.
17:03War in Iran. War everywhere.
17:05War everywhere, everybody. You get the point.
17:07Those are all the clips this morning.
17:08Also, I mean, if you think about the aircraft carriers right now and the tours
17:12that they are doing right now, as this says, news .usni .org points out, should
17:18the USS Gerald Ford remain deployed until mid -April, right?
17:23We're getting pretty close to that.
17:25It would have broken the post -Vietnam War 294 -day record for carrier deployments.
17:30If the carrier route is until early May, it would match the 300 -day -plus
17:35deployments that carriers conducted to the Gulf of Tonkin.
17:38I mean, Trump is really stretching our military thin right now.
17:44The president of peace is going through so much wars that the morale in our
17:48military and the resources are being stretched very, very thin right now.
17:53A few other things I want to point out.
17:56Data, folks. You know, we love data right here.
17:58When you look at Donald Trump's State of the Union address.
18:01address. Viewership, only 28 million viewers across the eight major networks.
18:07By the way, the Midas Touch Network People's State of the Union drew over 2
18:11million viewers. And if you look, this was like the one of the worst ratings
18:16for a state of the union ever.
18:18I mean, in 2020, 37 .2, 2018, 45 .6.
18:24Just look at Donald Trump's other state of the unions.
18:26Nobody wants to hear this guy speak.
18:28In the latest Emerson poll of the Democrat, of the congressional ballot, generic congressional ballots,
18:35Democrats lead 50 to 42%.
18:37And yet again, three weeks in a row, the Midas Touch podcast is number one
18:42on the weekly top podcast shows, beating Joe Rogan, Good Mythical Morning, Kill Tony, Sean
18:50Ryan Show, Smosh Reads, Tucker Carlson, and others.
