0:15This just in, Donald Trump has fired another cabinet member.
0:19Let me repeat, another cabinet member has been fired by Donald Trump.
0:23Labor Secretary Lori Chavez de Reimer has been fired by Donald Trump.
0:29The regime made an announcement moments ago.
0:32They said that she'll be working in a private sector job.
0:36You'll recall that she was under investigation for reportedly pursuing a relationship with a subordinate
0:43for potential travel fraud, for potential drinking on the job.
0:47She denied these allegations. Also allegations that she would go to strip clubs and she
0:53would spend lots of money on these lavish vacations and in Vegas.
0:58Also, it was reported that her husband had been barred from entering the labor department
1:03headquarters after two female staffers accused him of sexual assault inside the building, according to
1:11a New York Times report.
1:13One alleged incident was captured on a security camera, according to this report, although she
1:18and her husband denied it and was now apparently part of a criminal investigation.
1:23It should also be noted that two of her top aides had resigned based on
1:30this investigation. Labor Secretary or former Labor Secretary, now Chavez de Reimer's top aides, Jiwon
1:36Han and Rebecca Wright resigned based on this investigation into allegations that they created a
1:42hostile workplace and committed travel fraud with cabinet officials.
1:46They denied that. Here was a New York Post of all places, right -wing propaganda
1:51paper New York Post reported that a investigation uncovered that Lori Chavez de Reimer's office
1:58booze stash and strip club visits with subordinates was a major, major issue that was
2:04being looked into. And we had reported on the Midas Touch Network after Pam Bondi
2:11was fired that Lori Chavez de Reimer was likely to come next.
2:15We also were predicting that Kash Patel and potential others were going to be fired
2:21next, but Lori Chavez de Reimer fired.
2:24They claim that she's resigning, but she was obviously forced out, in my opinion.
2:28Stephen Chung, Donald Trump's communications director, posted the following message.
2:34Labor Secretary Lori Chavez de Reimer will be leaving the administration to take a position
2:39in the private sector. She has done a phenomenal job in her role by protecting
2:43American workers, enacting fair labor practices, and helping Americans gain additional skills to improve their
2:50lives. Keith Sunderling will take on the role of acting Secretary of Labor.
2:55Of course, nothing that Stephen Chung said is true.
2:58We saw job losses, manufacturing job losses, construction job losses, some of the worst job
3:05numbers in the history of the United States under Chavez de Reimer and Donald Trump's
3:10tenure. And again, job report after job report was worse than the next.
3:16It didn't seem like Chavez de Reimer knew this termination was coming about four hours
3:20ago. She was making social media posts talking about expanding apprenticeship, strengthening safety, building pathways
3:28to critical careers, which is just a bunch of BS because she's doing the opposite.
3:33But she made a post on social media four hours ago.
3:36I mean, you'll recall that Chavez de Reimer was one of the biggest sycophants and
3:39bootlickers of Donald Trump, one of the least qualified people.
3:43And that's saying a lot on this cabinet of horrifically unqualified people.
3:47Remember, she was one of the first people who started draping Donald Trump's billboards on
3:52the build government buildings. The first big Donald Trump, Stalin -esque, Kim Jong -un -esque
3:58billboard was on the Department of Labor building.
4:00And then she would give these various statements during the cabinet meetings about her obsequiousness
4:08to Donald Trump. It was very, very humiliating.
4:10Like, remember this cabinet meeting appearance where Lori Chavez de Reimer said, you know, your
4:17big, beautiful face is all over our buildings.
4:19Remember how weird it was?
4:20Here, play this clip. If you all haven't stopped by the Department of Labor, Mr.
4:24President, I invite you to see your big, beautiful face on a banner in front
4:29of the Department of Labor, because you are really the transformational president of the American
4:33worker, along with the American flag and President Roosevelt.
4:37I want to rewind a little bit about who Lori Chavez de Reimer is.
4:41She was a former congresswoman from Oregon, Republican, of course.
4:45She claimed she supported workers when she was a Republican congresswoman.
4:50She claimed that she supported the PRO Act, which was one of the most important
4:54pro -union pieces of legislation out there, which all Republicans and Trump and MAGA definitely
5:00opposed because it strengthens unions.
5:02And she was a supporter of that, you know, which, you know, you could disagree
5:05with her on a lot of things, but she claimed to support the PRO Act.
5:08But then during her confirmation hearing, she wouldn't get confused.
5:11affirmed unless she said she no longer supported the PRO Act.
5:16So when she was cross -examined by Rand Paul during her confirmation hearing back in
5:21February of 2025, she said she no longer supports the PRO Act.
5:25Play this clip. Do you still support the PRO Act or don't you support the
5:29PRO Act? Thank you, Senator Paul.
5:31And I appreciated our meeting as well.
5:33I thought it was quite what you shared with me is how important it is
5:42to you and your state.
5:43And I heard that from many members.
5:46The right to work is a fundamental tenet of labor laws where states have a
5:50right to choose if they want to be a right to work state and that
5:53should be protected. PRO Act will overturn that.
5:55Yes. Thank you, Senator. I signed on to the PRO Act because I was representing
6:01Oregon's fifth district. But I also signed on to the PRO Act because I wanted
6:05to be at that table and have those conversations.
6:07But I fully, fairly, and support states who want to protect their right to work.
6:12I have said that to every senator that I have visited with.
6:14So you no longer support the aspect of the PRO Act that would have overturned
6:18state right to work laws?
6:19Yeah. There were so many parts.
6:21That's a yes? Yes. There.
6:23Yes, sir. No more questions.
6:28Thank you, Senator. With that, I go to Senator Murray.
6:32And here's what she said during Bernie Sanders' questioning of her during her confirmation hearing.
6:37Let's play it. You're not the congresswoman from Oregon anymore, right?
6:46No, sir. Okay. You're trying to become Secretary of Labor.
6:52Let me back up and say a word about what the PRO Act is.
6:56I'm not sure that most Americans know what it is.
6:59The reality is that in America today, labor unions have the support of some 70
7:04% of the American people.
7:06You know why? Because people understand that the big corporations and their bosses have all
7:11the power. People understand that CEOs make 300 times more than their workers.
7:16And people say, you know what, the only way we're going to get decent wages
7:18and benefits is when we organize.
7:19Millions of people want to join unions, but they can't join unions.
7:24You know why? Because corporations day after day operate in illegal ways.
7:30They break the law. They say to somebody, you were late three years ago.
7:33You were pro -union. You were late three years.
7:35You're fired. We're going to take you into a captive audience.
7:38And for hour after hour, we're going to tell you how bad unions are.
7:41You want to join a union?
7:42Fine. You vote for a union.
7:43We're moving the plant to China.
7:45All of that stuff happens to be illegal.
7:49All of that stuff happens to be done every single day by corporate America.
7:54So let me go back to the original question.
7:57Pro Act is designed to prevent illegal behavior on the part of corporate America, on
8:04the part of employers, so that workers can make a free choice.
8:09Do you support the Pro Act?
8:12Thank you, Ranking Member Sanders.
8:14And I appreciate the conversation.
8:17I support the American worker.
8:19President Trump... Okay. I don't mean to be rude.
8:22No, you're not, Ray. We don't have a lot of time.
8:24I understand. I'm gathering that you no longer support the Pro Act, is what I
8:28hear, that you support the American worker.
8:30That's what everybody here will say.
8:32Then you'll recall that you would go on state regime media, which calls itself Fox,
8:36and give these really embarrassing appearances, like this one on Varney.
8:41Let's play this clip. Madam Secretary, 92 ,000 jobs out in February.
8:47Fewer jobs in healthcare. Fewer jobs for information services because of AI.
8:52The weather hurts things. Government employment down.
8:55If you add it all up, it doesn't look good for the Trump economy.
9:01Yeah, I couldn't agree with you.
9:03I think we have to address the fact that this is not a good report
9:06in its raw numbers, but we have to also talk about why this possibly has
9:11happened. This snapshot in time, it was mentioned, the weather.
9:15We saw healthcare numbers go down.
9:17We saw a record strike in California, over 30 ,000 jobs lost there, but that
9:24has been resolved. So we're hoping to see those numbers tick back up next month.
9:28But overall, we've gained 60 ,000 new jobs over the last two months.
9:32So this is important for us to recognize what the message is here, what the
9:36noise is, and how focused the Labor Department is in making sure that we can
9:41bring back those jobs in construction, manufacturing.
9:44We're seeing the confidence go up.
9:46We've seen the investments that the president has made.
9:48I've said it over and over again.
9:50The president and I talk.
9:51We visit on this often.
9:53It's important to him. We're laser focused to make sure that we have that skilled
9:57workforce and it's just going to take some time.
10:00So we're recognizing what happened this month and we're going to stay laser focused to
10:04bring those jobs numbers up.
10:06Or here she is talking about the jobs data and saying, you know what?
10:09We just don't have good data at this point.
10:11That's the issue. So we're just going to make it up, basically play this clip.
10:15Yeah. You don't get that time back.
10:16That's exactly what I believe that you are saying.
10:19Sometimes it's too late to get accurate data points.
10:23And like I said, the household surveys were not able to be done and businesses
10:27submitted the passive information. So is it a little too late?
10:32It's similar to the Fed a little too late on these interest rate drops.
10:37I'm looking forward to the December report on that.
10:39that they will again step up as the president has oftentimes asked them to pay
10:45attention to. But again, because of the Democratic shutdown, we don't have that accurate data
10:50for them to make a good decision.
10:52But I believe that the Fed needs to cut the interest rates again in December
10:56to really prop up this economy that the president has been so forceful in by
11:03bringing the trillions of dollars by the Department of Labor, really looking at the skilled
11:08workforce. And now this is one more way for the Fed to help out the
11:12American people because of this Democratic shutdown.
11:15Forty three days going on.
11:16Forty four. This is detrimental to the markets and to the American people.
11:21Well, here's what she said to Maria Bartiroma.
11:23You could play this clip right here, but certainly in this administration and as a
11:27former member of Congress for them to not see that they are hurting the American
11:31people. We've been on a momentum of job gains.
11:34We've been working so hard across the country to make sure that we are growing
11:39this economy and, you know, really having the workforce investments that we've been doing to
11:45only see it come to a screeching halt.
11:47While we're not going to get the jobs numbers report because they will not open
11:51this government, we want to keep the momentum going.
11:54I mean, that's been the goal as I've traversed this country.
11:58We're seeing consumer confidence up.
12:00We're seeing businesses want to reinvest in their workforce.
12:03And this is only, you know, a real screeching halt for the American people.
12:07And it's unfortunate that the Democrats don't see that, that they're fighting for the American
12:11people and they're going to pay.
12:12Well, I mean, you know the data, though.
12:15You know where we are.
12:16I mean, we've had three months of slowing jobs.
12:18We know we don't have the numbers for September, but is there anything you could
12:21tell us about the jobs picture today?
12:24Yeah. What we're seeing is the investments.
12:26I was... And I'll just remind you that now Democratic Congresswoman Bynum, who we've had
12:31on the show a ton, was the one who ultimately replaced Lori Chavez -Daremer and
12:37just destroyed Chavez -Daremer in the debate.
12:39I'll just remind you of what went down.
12:41Let's play this clip right here.
12:43Is that my opponent voted 26 times to cut Social Security.
12:49It's in the literature. Cite it.
12:51Baby, I will send it to you tonight.
12:53So, folks, the big headline, Labor Secretary Lori Chavez -Daremer is out, fired by Donald
12:59Trump. They're claiming it's a resignation, but she's been fired.
13:04See you later. Who's next is the question.
13:06Is it going to be Kash Patel with the ridiculous lawsuit that he filed earlier
13:10today? Is it going to be a Dan Driscoll, you know, one of the army
13:14secretaries? Is it going to be, you know, you tell me who you think it's
13:18going to be. Put in the comments below who's next.
