2:33Clay and Buck show. A lot of different details, all coming down just recently with

2:41Caroline Levitt in the White House press briefing.

2:45And I have got a series of these to update you all with these.

2:51I believe these are in the order in which they were occurring.

2:55And then we've got a ton of your talkbacks that we will play.

2:59And 800 -282 -2882. We will take some of your calls as well.

3:04Okay. And, Buck, this is one of the big points of discussion we got into

3:08in the first hour. To what extent is the public and private commentary different from

3:15Iran? How can you rely on what is being said?

3:18Caroline Levitt, Cut26, says that what Iran is saying publicly is different from what they

3:26are saying privately. Cut26. With respect to the first reporting out of Iranian state media,

3:31the president was made aware of those reports before I came to the podium.

3:34That is completely unacceptable. And, again, this is a case of what they're saying publicly

3:38is different privately. We have seen an uptick of traffic in the strait today.

3:42And I will reiterate the president's expectation and demand that the Strait of Hormuz is

3:47reopened immediately, quickly, and safely.

3:51That is his expectation. It has been relayed to him privately that that is what's

3:55taking place. And these reports publicly are false.

3:58Okay. This is an easy one that we can test, Buck.

4:01Either there's going to be a lot of ships that are coming through the Strait

4:05of Hormuz safely, or there's not.

4:08And if there's not, it's a pretty good sign that that is dishonest, that they

4:12are actually still curtailing traffic substantially.

4:14My sense also is that she's referring to, also here, referring to the position that

4:24the Iranians are taking on the deal points.

4:26And is that included in that response there?

4:29We've got an additional cut on that, I think, which is her saying the 10

4:35-point request is just not accurate, and we are not agreeing there.

4:41Well, but this is where the public -private dichotomy matters so much, right?

4:44Because they're saying, the White House is telling us, oh, don't worry, behind closed doors,

4:49the Iranians are way more compliant and willing to play ball on these things.

4:54Because what they put out, to be clear, and I guess we might as well

4:58play this, what the Iranians put out as their deal position is a giant extended

5:02finger in our direction. It is maximalist, maximalist points on their side that they are

5:13taking here. This is 28.

5:14Here's Caroline Leavitt on this.

5:16I've seen a lot of inaccurate coverage today from the media about these negotiations and

5:20these plans already. So let me be clear and correct the record.

5:24The Iranians originally put... forward a 10 -point plan that was fundamentally unserious, unacceptable, and

5:30completely discarded. It was literally thrown in the garbage by President Trump and his negotiating

5:36team. Many outlets in this room have falsely reported on that plan as being acceptable

5:41to the United States, and that is false.

5:43With the President's deadline fast approaching and the United States military completely decimating Iran with

5:48each passing hour, the regime acknowledged reality to the negotiating team.

5:53They put forward a more reasonable and entirely different and condensed plan to the President

5:57and his team. President Trump and the team determined the new modified plan was a

6:02workable basis on which to negotiate and to align it with our own 15 -point

6:07proposal. The President's red lines, namely the end of Iranian enrichment in Iran, have not

6:14changed. And the idea that President Trump would ever accept an Iranian wish list as

6:19a deal is completely absurd.

6:22I don't think anyone, well, I mean, we certainly haven't.

6:25I haven't seen anyone say that the 10 points put forward by Iran were accepted

6:29by the White House. So I think that's a little bit of a red herring.

6:32No one's saying that we've agreed to that.

6:34Not even CNN or New York Times is saying we've agreed to that.

6:38But that is what was put out there.

6:40Look, everyone, we are very pro -Trump and very pro -America, and very pro -humanity

6:47in these matters here. Clay and I can certainly agree on that.

6:49Anti -death. Anti -death, anti -innocent people suffering, anti -chaos, mass hysteria, dogs and cats

6:57living together. We don't like any of those things.

7:00I'm going to have to now step in.

7:02I'm a little, I'll tell you this, I feel I should have been louder about

7:07DHS Secretary Noem was a horrible choice and it was an outrageously bad case.

7:13People might say, oh, it doesn't matter?

7:15Really? How many deportations have we gotten done?

7:18Really? How's our immigration stuff looking from the deportation perspective?

7:21And how much time has been lost?

7:23Anyway, so I feel like I gave Trump, because he's Trump and he won, I

7:29was like, you know what, his team, his picks, who am I to judge?

7:32No, I knew. I knew.

7:34And you all knew that I knew.

7:36On this one, Clay, how's our whole ending the Ukraine war thing in one day

7:40going? Not going. How's our whole getting Kim Jong -un to open a whole new

7:46universe of the talks with Trump and everything?

7:49Yeah, he's not firing off rocket.

7:51I'm not saying nothing has been done or there's not concessions or whatever, but hasn't

7:55happened, okay? Russian aggression against Ukraine still ongoing.

8:00I am sorry, I'm feeling a little bit of a spin coming from this White

8:04House on this, where they're saying, oh no, what they're saying in private, we'll see.

8:11We'll see. Trump's red line is that they're going to give up, they're going to

8:14agree to formally, remember, to agree to give up the nuclear program comes with things

8:20like getting rid of their enriched uranium, like allowing inspectors.

8:25You know, there are actual processes.

8:28It's not just like, oh yeah, we'll do that and then they can lie about

8:31it, right? Because that wouldn't be acceptable either.

8:34They're not going to do it, guys.

8:36I hope I'm wrong. I'll come and I'll tell you.

8:40I'll be like, oh, in two weeks, you know what they're going to say?

8:42We're getting closer. We're getting close.

8:44Great progress has been made.

8:45Jared Kushner's nailing this thing down.

8:47Great progress has been made.

8:49Okay. We'll see. Hopefully the straight opens.

8:53That's a big part of it, Clay, but I think they will open the straight

8:56because now they're in the negotiation phase and that's their leverage against us.

9:01That's why I think the end result, this is my prediction, is going to be

9:08both sides agree to just kind of put down arms and leave things where they

9:14are. And our argument is that Iran has agreed that they're going to stop and

9:19we think that the uranium is underground and unreachable.

9:25And then Iran is saying to their people, hey, you know, they came for us

9:29and we haven't given up anything.

9:32That may be true. This is a little different from what we're talking about in

9:35the first hour, Clay. I could see what you're saying happened, but keep in mind

9:37that is not achieving a non -nuclear Iran and that is not what that is,

9:42though. But I, yes, but that what that allows, this is what I'm thinking is

9:47going to end up being the end result.

9:49Because the only other option is this, right?

9:51There are two options for how that thing ends.

9:54We go on the ground with our, you know, somebody who's with our nerds who

10:00have to actually get the canisters, right?

10:02We go on the ground in Iran, which there was a report, I think, in

10:07the Wall Street Journal that we were considering doing this.

10:10We seize it all. We bring it back.

10:13We hold it up and we're like, we got it.

10:15Here it is. And they can't use this anymore.

10:18The other option, which I think I agree with you on this, is Iran just

10:24agrees to give it to us.

10:25I can't foresee a world in which Iran is humiliated enough to just hand over

10:32all of the uranium and all of their literal physical capacity to try to make

10:39nuclear weapons. Here's the other question that I think is going to loom large here.

10:49And that is something I bet, again, we're...

10:53We're going to get a good sign for what is the public posture versus what

10:56is the private posture. Ships are either going to come through or they're not.

11:01And if the ships aren't coming through, then the argument of the Strait of Hormuz

11:06is 100 % open is not accurate.

11:09And we can determine that.

11:11Now, the price of oil and gas has come down $20, which suggests that there

11:16is some optimism that the flow of oil and gas is going to continue.

11:21But I think that's the number one trust but verify component here is, are the

11:28ships coming through? And that's what I would want to see as the, hey, you

11:33can be trusted component of this early stage negotiation with J .D.

11:37Vance, Whitcoff, and Kushner headed to Pakistan.

11:40I just, these Iranians, man, they're wily cats.

11:45These guys know what, I'm telling this what they're going to do.

11:47So they're going to say, hold on a second, and they're going to put out,

11:50they're going to use the mechanisms they have to put out statements to whether it's,

11:54you know, through the, running it through press in the Middle East or wherever.

11:59I mean, they can just put it on X for all, it doesn't really matter.

12:02They'll say, hey, hey, guys, we opened the Strait, we're negotiating, we're negotiating, we're figuring

12:06it out, we're figuring it out.

12:08And then as a little bit of time moves on, you know what they're going

12:10to say? They're going to say, you know what, Trump, you really don't want us

12:13to shut down this straight with you guys having the midterms coming up.

12:17So, you know, I think they think the leverage has switched to their side on

12:21this. I really do. And if we start bombing, we're bombing them through Fourth of

12:25July weekend this summer, you think that's going to be a good look?

12:28This was promised to be four to six weeks.

12:30We are at the deadline.

12:31This is where we are now.

12:33And we're sending in Jared and Whitcoff to Islamabad, apparently, to figure this whole thing

12:38out via Pakistan. I don't know, man.

12:41So I think they're going to open the Strait up.

12:43But the point is they're going to open the Strait up and then they're going

12:45to say, yeah, everything else stays.

12:47Here's the larger issue. This is where I actually agree with you 100%.

12:54Midterms are an issue, but let's move beyond.

12:56Let's actually think bigger picture, longer range.

13:01Iran knows, worst case scenario for them, Trump is out in January of 29.

13:07Who is the most likely successor to Trump right now?

13:10J .D. Vance. What did J .D.

13:12Vance argue in the New York Times piece that came out today?

13:16That he didn't want to do anything to Iran.

13:18If I'm Iranian leadership right now, I'm saying, hey, two and a half years, it

13:23may be rough. Trump may come after us.

13:25But if we get J .D., we can work with J .D.

13:28And by the way, Democrats, we saw Obama bit over backwards and gave butterfly kisses

13:34to the Iranian leadership. So the concern is Trump's the only bad guy they have

13:39to deal with. And it's only two and a half years.

13:42Now you sound like an Iranian bad guy who knows who he's selling his pistachios

13:47to. You know what I'm saying?

13:48I mean, this is the long range.

13:50And I do think the advantage that evil dictators have is evil dictators can think

13:57longer than a four -year cycle or a six -month cycle.

14:00And this is why my argument for, you know, this is why I like kings.

14:06If you've got a good king, you get him for like 40 years.

14:09You know, if you've got a good president, you only get him for eight.

14:11Even Socrates was like, the best government is just having a perfect person in charge

14:15of everything. Unfortunately, there's no perfect person.

14:17But Trump, the best possible person that we could have is only here for eight

14:21years. And my God, can you imagine what will happen if Kamala Harris or Gavin

14:26Newsom is in office in January of 29?

14:29They're not going to do anything.

14:30So that's the ultimate, I think, challenge that Trump has is two and a half

14:36years is nothing. The older you get, the less two and a half years is.

14:40And then you add on the religious fundamentalism.

14:43And those guys think in hundreds and thousands of years, that's, you know, they're thinking

14:49about conquering the world in 2 ,800, not worrying about what the next three years

14:55are going to look like.

14:56That's my long range. Beard is getting a little longer.

14:59His Farsi is getting a little bit clearer.

15:01Like, he's, you're, dude, I think you're, you're edging at least towards seeing, I think,

15:05how this can go sideways really fast, which is even, even if you're right about

15:10the feelings on the, you know, the state of the negotiations right now, let's just

15:14say that there is some private, there are so many ways that this thing gets,

15:19gets screwed up. Now, here's the, I'll give you my biggest upside to this, is

15:24that our downside has been quite limited.

15:28That is, and that's why the ending this thing now is, is I think the

15:32right move. Yeah. But I think it's basically ending now.

15:35And I think we walk away.

15:37They think they won. We think we won, and this is the way this thing

15:40moves forward. I don't think there's going to be a nuclear deal at the end

15:42of this. We didn't lose hundreds or thousands of American soldiers fighting.

15:47We didn't get into a six -month or six -year, heaven forbid, war.

15:50Like, this is manageable where it is now.

15:53So that's, to me, the upside of this.

15:55But people are going to tell you, if this is the end state where we

16:00are right now, which is the Strait Opens and there's negotiations going forward, that's not

16:05what the purpose of this air campaign was.

16:08Just to be clear. That's not, maybe they're going to get there.

16:11And in that case, great, I'll say they get there.

16:13But it was not, we're going to negotiate more over this stuff and the Strait

16:16of Hormuz is open. And we destroyed a lot of their military stuff, which we

16:20did do. And it was...

16:20It was an amazing display of American military power, but that is not what this

16:26was all about. And I think that's why the Israelis, by the way, are very

16:29annoyed about this current situation based on the reporting that we've seen.

16:33And by the way, Lebanon is still going to become an issue because they're still

16:36fighting going on there, and they're saying that's supposed to be a part of the

16:39ceasefire. The other thing is, and again, I really encourage people, not always we say

16:43this, to read that New York Times piece.

16:46Israel told Trump that there would be regime change, meaning the Ayatollahs would be out

16:52if we did this. Now, the Trump advisors, Marco Rubio, didn't buy it, according to

16:59the reporting. J .D. Vance didn't endorse this in any way.

17:03People listen to the show now.

17:04I've never bought it. I've always been like, I don't think that's going to happen.

17:07It's not going to happen.

17:10So Trump is now saying regime change is a new leader, which technically is accurate,

17:16but it isn't a new democratic leader.

17:19It's just a different religious fundamentalist.

17:23When you're talking about things like this, you don't want it to turn into being

17:25clever with your comms. You want it to be clear, mission accomplished, move on to

17:30other things like here at home.

17:32But we'll come back into this.

22:44the straight of the Hormuz open, why is that so important when such a small

22:48percentage that actually hits our shores?

22:51So that's actually a very interesting question.

22:53Clay, why don't you take this?

22:55Because we only got about 30 seconds before we got to go to a break.

22:58Yeah, it's a great question from Greg.

22:59And we've been talking a lot about this.

23:01Oil has a global marketplace.

23:03And so the way to think about this is if there are, simplify it, 10

23:07barrels of oil on the market, then the cost is going to be X.

23:11If there are suddenly eight on the market, then because there's fewer amounts of oil

23:17on the marketplace, the overall cost increases.

23:20So it's a global supply.

23:22We don't have to rely on that oil to arrive on our shores to be

23:27able to put into our cars and trucks.

23:29But if it isn't in the global marketplace, the overall price of oil and gas

23:35increases. And so we want as much free flow of oil and gas as possible.

23:41And then you add in the fact that OPEC is a cartel and they can

23:44control the distribution of oil and gas.

23:46And we've had good relations with them.

23:48But that is always an issue.

23:49And we will talk about this more on the flip side.

23:51But it is a very good question.

25:48This is cut 29. Yesterday, the president threatened to destroy Iran's civilization, the entire civilization.

25:56Not the Iranian government, but the Iranian civilization, the Iranian people.

26:00The U .S. has been a moral leader for most of its history by fighting

26:04wars against other governments, not against civilizations.

26:09How can the president claim that America can ever have the moral high ground if

26:13he's threatening to destroy civilizations and not casting wars as fights against other governments?

26:20Andrew, I think you should take a look at the actions of this president over

26:23the course of the past six weeks and the actions of our brave men and

26:26women in our United States military who have taken out the military, essentially taken out

26:31the military of a rogue Islamic regime that has chanted death to America for 47

26:37years, that has killed and maimed thousands of American soldiers over the course of the

26:42last five decades. The president absolutely has the moral high ground over the Iranian terrorist

26:48regime. And for you to even suggest otherwise is frankly insulting.

26:52Pretty strong response there. And remember, stock market is soaring today.

26:57The oil and gas prices are collapsing.

27:00Yesterday, the left wingers were telling you and some people on the right as well.

27:05Oh, my goodness, President Trump's going to lead us to nuclear war.

27:09That was their talking point yesterday until a ceasefire was announced.

27:13And then they flipped to.

27:16Oh, Trump's a coward. He won't follow through on anything.

27:20It was predicted. We told you that that was likely going to happen here, but

27:23it's just evidence of the fact that whatever the president does, they're going to attack

27:28him. He's bellicose and suggests that he's going to rain down holy hell on Iran.

27:33Oh, my goodness. He's going to lead to nuclear war.

27:38This is unacceptable. It is a moral collapse of American authority.

27:46And then Trump says, hey, we've reached a ceasefire.

27:49And the response on the left is, see, he's a coward.

27:53He didn't actually deploy nuclear bombs.

27:56They don't really have an opinion.

27:59They're just anti -Trump. And this is posted by someone named, I don't know him

28:03personally, Drew Pablo. But I thought this was a good tweet, and I shared it

28:09a little bit earlier. Because some people are saying, oh, my goodness, Iran won this

28:14war. Right? There are people out there that are saying Iran won the war.

28:18And Drew Pablo here says, let's flip the scenario for just a moment.

28:25Imagine Iran killed Trump in the first five minutes of the war, established air superiority

28:32over the U .S. mainland, wiped out the entire U .S.

28:36Air Force, the U .S.

28:38Navy, killed half of our cabinet, flattened the U .S.

28:43military industrial complex, then started building runways in Missouri to land Iranian troops on our

28:51soil without losing a single casualty to rescue one of the few people that we

28:57had actually managed to shoot down.

29:00Would anyone say that was a U .S.

29:02victory if we managed to keep the Panama Canal closed somewhat?

29:07Would anyone out there be like, look at this huge strategic victory?

29:12I do think it's important sometimes to flip the script and analyze things.

29:16I thought that was well said by him.

29:18And I think it contextualizes how much dishonesty you're going to get.

29:23I'll give you another one.

29:24I watch on the quad box every screen so that I can see how stories

29:29are being covered. CNN and MSNBC, MSNOW, they have constantly, constantly been sharing the price

29:39of oil and gas, the impact of the stock market, all of these things.

29:44As I am speaking to you right now, the stock market is up around 1

29:48,200 points, the Dow. The S &P 500 up around 3%, one of the most

29:54successful days imaginable on the stock market.

29:57The price of oil and gas has collapsed by nearly $20.

30:03There is not a ticker showing both of those on CNN.

30:07Neither of those have been featured at all during the entirety of the show that

30:11we have done today. Now, if you're going to cover when negative things happen to

30:16the stock market or when negative things, meaning the price goes up of oil and

30:20gas, if you were just an honest arbiter and broker of how the overall market

30:27was responding, you would have to cover when things go really well and when things

30:32go really poorly because that's what an honest journalistic enterprise would do.

30:37Neither CNN nor MSNBC is doing that.

30:40They aren't showing anything positive in the market reactions right now.

30:46Instead, they are continuing to lead with so many different negative stories out there, even

30:54in the midst of all of this.

30:56Jimmy in South Carolina has been waiting a little while.

30:58Jimmy, what you got for us?

31:01Hey, I appreciate you taking my call.

31:02Listen, one of the things that I think that the American people are not going

31:05to be able to stomach is if we keep playing this wink, wink.

31:09I think Trump needs to go in.

31:10I love the president, but I think he needs to go in and get the

31:13job done because if we lose any troops in two weeks and then it holds

31:18off and then again we lose troops, I don't think the American people are going

31:21to stand for that. And the second thing is...

31:23Well, hold on. Let me pause you there, Jimmy.

31:26What would you want to do?

31:27You'd want to put boots on the ground, go seize the uranium.

31:31What do you mean by finish the job?

31:33What would you want him to do?

31:35Well, whatever he has already in mind, what he was going to do before he

31:40put this ceasefire on. You know, I'm not a military expert, so I'm not going

31:44to try to say I want him to go in and annihilate him.

31:47I'm not a war hog like that.

31:49But I just think that they have a game plan.

31:51Stick with it. Don't call an audible now on this because I don't think the

31:55American people are going to be able to go two weeks, we lose a troop

31:58or two, and then another two weeks we wait and then we lose some more

32:01troops. I think the American people want him to go ahead and do what he...

32:05That's what they voted him for.

32:06He's a man of his word.

32:07He says what he means and he means what he says.

32:09And the second thing is we may not be so lucky the next time if

32:12they shoot down a pilot.

32:13We may not be able to go in and get him or her out, and

32:16that gives them a lot of leverage.

32:19So I just think that we need to be careful.

32:21I think we need to move forward and get the job done.

32:30what you might be hearing if you are out there in the larger marketplace.

32:43Thank you. He's upset because Pete Hegseth keeps saying no man left behind when it

32:50could be a woman who is left behind.

32:52This is what you would have heard if you were watching MSNBC last night.

32:56That brilliant rescue was described by the secretary of defense and by General Dan Cain,

33:01the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, as a longstanding American military rule of

33:07never leaving anyone behind. We leave no man behind.

33:10That is, of course, the old school version of the idea.

33:15Back when only men flew American military planes, General Dan Cain, the chairman of the

33:20Joint Chiefs of Staff, put it this way.

33:22We leave no one behind.

33:24The general knows, unlike Pete Hegseth, that that could have been a woman they were

33:30trying to rescue. And it might be a woman the next time.

33:36I just I can't believe this is real.

33:39And look, this is why I'm very anti -policing language, because it's never done in

33:46good faith. Does Lawrence O'Donnell really think that if this had been a woman in

33:53an airplane that needed to be rescued, that Pete Hegseth would have not rescued her?

33:59That Donald Trump wouldn't have put all of the United States military might behind ensuring

34:07that we rescued. No man left behind.

34:10No one left behind. It just no man left behind flows way better than no

34:16man or woman left behind.

34:18It's also a phrase that has been used for a very, very long time in

34:22military. Most people fighting in combat roles are still men.

34:27I just of all of the things that you could be upset about, that you

34:33could decide that you need to address the phrasing there, I think is indicative of

34:39how Democrats have just frankly lost men and a lot of women.

34:43Is there a single woman in this audience offended by the phrase no man left

34:47behind? This is where we are.

34:52Look, we'll come back and we will play some more of your talkbacks and we

40:39saying, what have we actually accomplished?

40:42Cut G. Buck, you are so right.

40:44Without regime change in Iran, really, what have we accomplished in the long term?

40:48Nothing. They'll continue to lie.

40:50They'll rearm with ballistic missiles.

40:52They'll get a nuclear warhead from North Korea or make one.

40:55They will. And their citizens will still be under the yoke of religious fanatics.

41:00So tell me what's really changed.

41:02Because until you get the religious fanatics out of there, the death to America crowd,

41:07we have not done anything.

41:11Okay, Steve in Florida also says Buck's right.

41:22I'm as skeptical as you are about this.

41:51As a retired military officer, I find myself usually agreeing with Buck on most issues.

41:59But the Iran issue, I find him way too pessimistic and underestimating our capabilities.

42:14Could I offer Klay that this could be now the Klay Travis and Buck Saxon

42:18show? Not too hot, not too cold.

42:27Tony in North Carolina says, and this is something that I actually agree with when

42:32we ended up. But I do think Iran is more willing to play the long

42:37game. And that is one of the plays here.

42:48They can endure the suffering more than we can.

42:52Remember Sun Tzu. Know the enemy and know yourself.

42:55You need not fear the results of 100 battles.

42:59But going Sun Tzu on us is kind of playing the proverbial military intelligence trump

43:06card. A lot of Sun Tzu and Klausowitz fans in this audience, I can tell

43:10you a lot. So look, we will see.

43:14I guess my position is I think we're going to know a lot by tomorrow

43:20when it comes to the Strait of Hormuz.

43:22How many ships are coming through?

43:24And remember, saying it's open is different than people trusting that it's open.

43:31That's a good point. Because I will say, you know, if you own a $100

43:34million ship, your company does, or you are the CEO sitting at the...

43:39top of the the flow chart who has to make a decision do we go

43:42or not go that requires trust right and you have to believe that the iranians

43:48are being honest when the when or the americans are anybody else you're negotiating with

43:53when they say hey you're good to go now that's a little bit nerve -wracking

43:56my wife won't even trust the sell -by date on the chicken that's in the

44:01fridge if it has been open for a day or two such that i have

44:04to i'm the smell i'm the smeller of the raw chicken do you have this

44:08job too ever i i she won't trust the sell but i'm like honey the

44:11sell by date is fine my wife doesn't trust that i can smell anything she

44:15says smell the chicken and i say okay i'll smell the chicken my point is

44:20that's the kind of precaution we take in this household on raw chicken i can't

44:24imagine moving god knows how many gallons of oil through a war zone that's that's

44:30risky stuff you it's not just enough to be told it's okay the sell -by

44:34date may not be good enough it's hard to go to sleep i would imagine

44:38on an oil tanker um when you are going through an active war zone and

44:43you know that if somebody tosses a cigarette in the wrong direction the whole thing

44:48can go up in smoke to say nothing of uh of what could happen with

44:52drone uh warfare in some way uh let's close with a positive here uh you've

44:58got some parks and recs fans buck cut b this is danny in los angeles

45:02i just got home from work put on the show and in the third hour

45:06i hear buck drop a parks and rec reference uh to the reasonable lists which

45:11was a great throwback buck i have to admit that was very fun to listen

45:16to and i don't think you look like ron swanson but i think we can

45:21agree that the way ron thinks about government on that show um i think we're

45:26gonna both agree that's a that's a nice way to think about it clay can

45:29i just tell you a couple first of all danny thank you for the shout

45:32out on this one i learned about parks and rec because when i was assigned

45:36to work in the intel division the mypd there was one of my colleagues who

45:40came up to me she's like i feel like you think this place does nothing

45:43but fail you're like the ron swanson of the intelligence division and i had no

45:46idea what she was talking about also comma people don't think i look like him

45:51they think i look like adam scott the other guy oh yeah is that really

45:58is that real guys oh man are we going out on that one oh i

46:02don't know adam scott the golfer is really good looking that's not a bad masters

46:06is starting that's somebody you could be compared to you and i hear about people

46:09and families who bought a timeshare years ago they enjoyed it at first but now

46:13feel completely stuck and that's the part that hits home people don't regret the vacations
