0:13He recently visited Cameroon. He's now in Angola.
0:17And when he was asked questions by the press about Donald Trump and the MAGA
0:22movement and the Trump cabinet and all the Fox propagandists who continue to attack him,
0:27Pope Leo XIV is like, I just find it a bit unusual that all I
0:32was doing was talking about love and that war is bad and that war criminals
0:38are bad. And it's just fascinating that Donald Trump and J .D.
0:43Vance and Pete Hegseth took it so personally when I just spoke out about genocide
0:48and about murderers. And they were like, don't you dare talk about me.
0:52Pope Leo XIV was like, I wasn't trying to get into a debate with them.
0:57I was just talking about things I've been talking about my entire life.
1:01These values that should be aspired to, not what this, what Trump is saying.
1:07But in any event, here's what Pope Leo XIV said.
1:10It was brilliant aboard the Pope's plane.

1:14And there's been a certain narrative that has not been accurate in all of its
1:19aspects, but because of the political situation created when on the first day of the
1:25trip, the President of the United States made some comments about myself.
1:30Much of what has been written since then has been more commentary on commentary, trying
1:35to interpret what has been said.
1:39Just one little example, the talk that I gave at the prayer meeting for peace
1:45a couple days ago was prepared two weeks ago, well before the President ever commented
1:51on myself and on the message of peace that I am promoting.
1:57And yet, as it happens, it was looked at as if I was trying to
2:01debate, again, the President, which is not in my interest at all.
2:05You know, I find it notable as well that that clip was picked out by
2:11Fox because you had Sean Hannity and all the Fox propagandists attacking the Pope.
2:16And I think they all realize how bad it's been for Fox and for Donald
2:22Trump to attack the Pope, who's incredibly popular.
2:26You know, so J .D.
2:27Vance, who converted to Catholicism, and J .D.
2:29Vance has been attacking the Pope all week, especially at that Turning Point event.
2:34J .D. Vance was like screaming and yelling at the Pope.
2:38It was very bizarre. J .D.
2:39Vance posted the following in response to the clip that I just showed you.
2:43I am grateful to Pope Leo for saying this.
2:46While the media narrative constantly gins up conflict, and yes, real disagreements have happened and
2:52will happen, the reality is often much more complicated.
2:56Pope Leo preaches the gospel as he should, and that will inevitably mean he offers
3:02his opinion on the moral issues of the day.
3:05The President and the entire administration work to apply those moral principles in a messy
3:10world. He will be in our prayers, and I hope that we'll be in it.
3:15It's such a phony, genocidal, war criminal weirdo you are, J .D.
3:21Vance. Weren't you in Turning Points recently, and you were just saying this past week,
3:26he doesn't know the just war doctrine.
3:28I know the just war doctrine.
3:30God and Jesus want us to blow up hospitals in Manab in Iran, and to
3:36kill little children and blow up hospitals.
3:38That's what God wants. I mean, I'm pretty confident we have a clip of you
3:42saying that you know the just war doctrine better than an Augustinian friar who literally
3:49has four degrees from the top Catholic university.
3:52But okay, J .D., this is what J .D.

3:58When the Pope says that God is never on the side of those who wield
4:03the sword, there is a thousand -year, more than a thousand -year tradition of just
4:08war theory, okay? Now, we can, of course, have disagreements about whether this or that
4:12conflict is just, but I think that it's important, in the same way that it's
4:16important for the Vice President of the United States to be careful when I talk
4:19about matters of public policy, I think it's very, very important for the Pope to
4:24be careful when he talks about matters of theology.
4:26And I think that one of these issues here is that there has been, again,
4:32hey, random dude screaming, I told you I'd respond to your point.
4:35I just want to respond to this question first.
4:37But I think one of the issues here is that if you're going to opine
4:41on matters of theology, you've got to be careful, you've got to make sure it's
4:45anchored in the truth, and that's one of the things that I try to do,
4:48and it's certainly something I would expect from the clergy, whether they're Catholic or Protestant.
4:52And you all realize what happened.
4:53This past week, a poll came out showing just how popular Pope Leo XIV is.
4:59Frankly, across the world, by the way, amongst the Catholics, he's got like a 94
5:04% approval about how he's doing as the Pope.
5:09But here in the United States, his approval...
5:11is very, very high. I just want to make one point here.
5:15The Midas Touch Network is not a religious channel.
5:17People watch from all different religions.
5:19We have Christians. We have people who are Catholic.
5:22We have Muslims. We have Hindu, Jews.
5:26It goes across the whole spectrum.
5:28People who have no religion at all, right?
5:30The point that I want to make is that we should care about empathy and
5:34love and bringing people together.
5:36And that, to me, is the most important thing, the community, helping marginalized communities.
5:41But here was the poll that came out this week that had MAGA absolutely terrified
5:46play this clip. You know, maybe President Trump is jealous of Pope Leo XIV because
5:51it is a blowout. It is a blowout.
5:54And this is just the American public at large, John.
5:56Look at this. It is a blow on the net popularity rating.
5:59Pope Leo XIV at plus 34.
6:02Look at where Donald Trump is at minus 12.
6:04It's not even close. It's a nearly 50 -point blowout amongst the American public at
6:09large. Pope Leo XIV absolutely crushing President Trump when it comes to how popular they
6:15are, at least as of the last month.
6:18And I will note that Pope Leo was the most popular person tested by NBC
6:22News. I believe the president is making a humongous mistake going after the most popular
6:27guy in America, at least well -known guy.
6:29Question is, why is this man smiling here?
6:31How about among American Catholics?
6:32Yeah, that's right. There's a reason why the Pope is smiling there.
6:35How about among American Catholics?
6:37President Trump is struggling with American Catholics.
6:41Look at this. Maybe this is part of the reason why he's going after the
6:43Pope. U .S. Catholics on Trump.
6:45You know, you go back to November of 2024.
6:46Look at this. President Trump crushed, crushed Kamala Harris by 20 points.
6:51But down he goes, down he goes into the Dead Sea.
6:55Look at this. Minus four points.
6:57That's a nearly 25 -point switcheroo in the wrong direction.
7:01The president has been struggling with Catholics.
7:03And I must say, in my expert opinion, I'm not quite sure that going after
7:07the Pope is the way to recover with Catholics.
7:11And look, we were just listening to that interview with Kate Wright there.
7:13And the Pope's stance on Iran is exactly what you would expect from a pontiff
7:17talking about war and peace here.
7:20What are Catholics in the United States?
7:22How do they feel about the military action?
7:24Yeah. I mean, I think Pope Leo XIV, an American, is emblematic of Catholics here
7:29in America. Just take a look here.
7:30Take a look. Net approval rating among U .S.
7:32Catholics. U .S. military action against Iran.
7:35Minus 10 points. Quite negative.
7:37You think that's low, though?
7:38Come over to this side of the screen.
7:40Trump on Iran. Look at this.
7:41They're even more sour on Trump.
7:4320 points underwater. So the bottom line is this.
7:46The Pope is emblematic of Catholics here in the United States.
7:48The Pope is far more popular with the American public than Trump is here in
7:51the United States. And Trump has been struggling with Catholics here in the United States.
7:56very much so losing a lot of ground, as you see right here, at nearly
8:0125 points for true. And this ain't going to help.
8:04No. Again, interesting to see how long he continues this, given what these numbers show.

9:32By the way, this wasn't a media narrative that was ginned up, okay?
9:36The media narrative was the Fox propagandists and the Trump and MAGA sycophants who ran
9:43to Donald Trump's side when Trump started attacking the Pope.
9:47Donald Trump, on eight separate occasions this week, attacked the Pope in terms of interviews,
9:54social media posts. I mean, Donald Trump posted the following, Pope Leo is weak on
9:59crime and terrible for foreign policy.
10:02He talks about fear of the Trump administration, but doesn't mention fear of the Catholic
10:06church. He never mentioned the Trump administration once, you psychopath, you malignant narcissistic war criminal.
10:13He didn't mention you once.
10:15Yet Donald Trump went on to say that the Pope is weak and he better
10:18get his act together. I'm not going to read Donald Trump's full social media posts.
10:23So stop acting. This is like a thing that MAGA and right -wing people always
10:26do. They're like, the media ginned it up.
10:29You all ginned it up.
10:30This was a Trump attack Pope week with MAGA attack Pope week.
10:35It wasn't just, um, it wasn't just Vans.
10:38I mean, you had. Maga Mike Johnson, he gave a speech attacking the Pope and
10:42Maga Mike was like, I want to talk to you about the Just War Doctrine
10:46because maybe the Pope doesn't know about the Just War Doctrine.
10:50Yes, he does. Okay. He was literally the leader of the movement that came up
10:54with the Just War Doctrine.
10:56But go ahead, Maga Mike here.
10:57Let's play this clip. A pontiff or any religious leader can say anything they want.
11:01But obviously, if you wade into political waters, I think you should expect some political
11:05response. And I think the Pope's received some of that.
11:09I was taken a little bit aback, just honestly, frankly, by something that was said.
11:14I think he said several days back that something about those who engage in war,
11:19that Jesus doesn't hear their prayers or something.
11:21It is a very well -settled matter of Christian theology.
11:25There's something called the Just War Doctrine.
11:27There's a time to every purpose under heaven.
11:29I think what the president's comments, what the vice president's comments reflect, is their understanding
11:35deep in the, you know, the SCIF and the classified briefings of the stakes that
11:39are so high and the situation that we're facing and the fact that you had
11:42the nation that was the largest sponsor of terrorism now having had that ability taken
11:49away from them. That means potentially millions of innocent people will be able to keep
11:55their lives and not be killed by terrorists.
11:58That's a good thing. That's what's come out of this.
12:00Okay. So I don't, I don't, I don't want to engage in a theological debate
12:04with the Pope. And then you had Hannity say the following play this clip.
12:08Change that law. Uh, but right on cue, Pope Leo the 14th is now seemingly
12:13more interested in spreading left -wing politics and the actual teachings of Jesus Christ.
12:20As the AP put it, quote, Pope Leo amplified his condemnation of America's conflict with
12:26Iran saying that God does not bless any conflict and certainly doesn't side with those
12:31who drop bombs. Well, first that is simply not biblically accurate.
12:37The Bible contains over 400 references to war, frequently depicting God as authorizing, commanding, intervening
12:45in battles like one that we all know, the battle between David and Goliath.
12:50Why is the Pope twisting religion to specifically attack only president Trump and the U
12:55S? Why did he recently meet with top Obama advisor, David Axelrod and the far
13:01left governor of Illinois, J B Pritzker?
13:03Is it because he's a run of the mill trump hating Democrat that lacks moral
13:08clarity about radical Islam? By the way, did he talk to them about abortion?
13:12Uh, well, in that case, you know, where are the pointed words for Iran, this
13:19evil regime, the number one state sponsor of terror.
13:22So that's what was really going on.
13:24That's the media, that's the media ginning it up.
13:27And then we have some clips of Pope Leo the 14th in Cameroon.
13:32This is who Donald Trump says is a horrible person.

15:02And now what MAGA is going with right after MAGA tries to use God and
15:06religion to engage in genocide and war crimes, they invoke God as they subjugate people.
15:12They manipulate God. They pervert the Bible.
15:16They pervert the people's religion.
15:18Again, let me be very clear.
15:19I don't care what religion you are.
15:20I just want you to be a good person.
15:22But we all know that the Trump perverts religion in order to manipulate and control.
15:28And now what MAGA is running with, I kid you not, after Donald Trump's attacks
15:32on the Pope backfired, is we're a secular country, OK?
15:36I don't know. Why are we being all religious now?
15:38We're doing religion. We shouldn't be talking about religion at all.
15:42So why are we even talking about the Pope?
15:44I kid you not. This is what Scott Jennings, this MAGA sycophant, had to say
15:48playing this clip. We're not a theocracy in the United States, although our commanders in
15:53chief and military leaders often pray to God for success in battle.
15:56It's happened since George Washington knelt in the snow at Valley Forge.
16:01We aren't a theocracy. We have separation of church and state.
16:04It may be that the American left is trying to, you know.
16:07turned us into a theocracy, which would be quite a development.
16:10But he's a president of the United States, which is a political office.
16:13The pope is a faith leader.
16:14Those are two different things, and they have had some disagreements, presidents and popes in
16:18the past. I mean, I think of Dwight Eisenhower's Order of the Day, B -Day,
16:231944. Let us beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.
16:28I think every American believes that our invasion of France was a great and noble
16:33undertaking and that it was fully appropriate for Eisenhower to ask God to support our
16:38just and noble cause. The president believes that it is a righteous, noble, moral cause
16:43to keep these fanatics in Iran from having a nuclear weapon.
16:46And that is the that is the decision he's made as a political officer of
16:50the United States. And I think if.
16:52And, you know, while people like Jennings and Trump and Vance and Maga Mike and
16:58Hegseth and this whole Maga movement have such hate in their heart.
17:02You know, I just think of moments like this with Pope Leo.
17:06Maga's like, Pope Leo's the worst pope of all time.
17:09And here's Pope Leo today, you know, treating people in Africa who are sick.

17:24And again, I'm not viewing this from a religious prism, but this is bringing people

17:47So contrast that to what other like the Maga analysts, the Maga TV propagandists, they're
17:55trying to one up each other.
17:56Right. So after you have Hannity going on his attack, you know, we showed you
18:01Hannity's attack, right? You then have you then have David Harris on Newsmax going on
18:07his attack. This is what David Harris said.
18:09Here play this clip. While President Trump is brokering ceasefires and pushing for peace in
18:14the Middle East, Pope Leo XIV is literally speaking blasphemy.
18:19Jesus told us, blessed are the peacemakers, but woe to those who manipulate religion in

18:56And if President Trump had said it, I'd be saying the exact same thing.
18:59Go look it up. Matthew chapter three, the Beatitudes.
19:02He that Jesus did not say everything that the Pope just said.
19:06He said after blessed are the peacemakers.
19:09All the rest of that crap is 110%.
19:12It's a thousand percent blasphemy.
19:14He just quoted and said that Jesus said something in the Bible that is not
19:19in there. Where's the outrage?
19:22Where's the outrage? Something is definitely off with that Pope.
19:27And I hope that every single person, go read it for yourself.

19:33Five, three, excuse me, go read it for yourself.
19:36And then ask, why would the Pope insert something to intentionally try to blast our
19:42president? That is 100 % blasphemy.

19:50It's 100 % against what Jesus said and who he was.
19:54And that's a problem. And then as Donald Trump realized just how this attack on
20:01Pope was backfiring, he calls in his evangelical bud, Franklin Graham, right?
20:07These, these total phonies, these, in my opinion, con artists, uh, individuals.
20:13Uh, and, and so Donald Trump has Franklin, I kid you not, Donald Trump has
20:18Franklin Graham, write him a letter.
20:21Like I'm an evangelical preacher.
20:23Write me a letter and say that I'm a good guy, Graham.
20:26And Franklin Graham goes, writes this, dear Mr.
20:29President, I have been out of the country and just returned.
20:31This is a statement I just released to the media addressing some of the issues
20:36you have been facing this week.
20:37What do you mean the issue?
20:39Always the victim, the issues you've been facing.
20:42What do you mean the issues?
20:43Donald Trump decided he was going to attack the Pope and then play the victim.
20:47What pathetic human beings they are.
20:50And then Franklin Graham goes, I do not believe president Trump would knowingly depict himself
20:55as Jesus Christ. That would certainly be inappropriate.
20:59I'm thankful the president has made it very clear that this was not at all
21:03what he thought the AI generated image was representing.
21:06He thought it was a doctor helping someone.
21:10And when he learned of the concerns, he immediately removed the post.
21:13When I looked at the illustration, I didn't jump to the same conclusion as some.
21:18There were no spiritual references, no halo.
21:21There were no crosses, no angels.
21:23It was a flag, soldiers, a nurse, fighter planes, eagles.
21:27And I think this is a lot to do about nothing.
21:30There is so much ill -intended speculation.
21:32I think his enemies are.
21:34are always foaming at the mouth at a possible opportunity to make him look bad.
21:40And the illustration from someone else he reposted on Truth Social today, I must say
21:45that I like the fact that it is a picture of Jesus whispering in his
21:49ear, or at least his hand on his shoulder, guiding him.
21:52We all need that. We need to be listening to Jesus again.
21:56I think there is an attempt to spin this into something it isn't, right?
21:59And then Franklin Graham goes on TV.
22:02He goes on state regime media.
22:03And here's what he says.
22:05Let's play this clip. These people are dangerous people, and they're a danger to the
22:10world. And in all of Gaza, that is the Iranians.
22:14You take what's happening in southern Lebanon, that's the Iranians.
22:18So yes, I think President Trump has done the right thing.
22:21I hate war. I don't like war.
22:23Don't support war. But sometimes you have to fight evil, and that's exactly what President
22:28Trump is doing. And it will be a much safer world, much safer in the
22:32Middle East when President Trump gets this done.
22:36What a movement of losers.
22:38What a movement of war criminal, hateful losers, right?
22:42They all act tough, right?
22:44They engage in the war crimes.
22:45Then you call them out for their behavior, and they're like, oh, the media is
22:49jitting it up. Oh, the media narratives.
22:51Oh, it's so unfair. What they're doing to you, Don.
22:54What they're doing to you?
22:55Dude's posting AI images of himself as Jesus, and he's posting rants all week, attacking
23:02Pope Leo XIV and Pope Leo XIV, not referencing Donald Trump, staying cool, calm, and
23:07collected. And Trump is clearly jealous of the crowd sizes that Pope Leo XIV is
23:13drawing and the moral and formal authority that Pope Leo XIV has.
23:17Trump wish he had the respect of people the way Pope Leo XIV has, but
23:21it ain't going to happen, Donald.
23:23You're a loser. You're the least popular president in American history.
23:26You're less popular than Nixon was at the time Nixon resigned.
23:30Remember that. When history writes about you, Donald, they're going to write that you were
23:34the worst president in history and perhaps one of the biggest losers in mankind.
