Trump Gets His Karma as FIFA World Cup Collapses!!!!
4/16/202617 mincomplete
0:00Donald Trump's worst nightmare is becoming a reality as the world is boycotting the FIFA
0:07World Cup in the United States.
0:10We're hearing reports from the Financial Times, from the tourism industry, from other very credible
0:18sources, that the expectations of all of these people, all of these tourists coming in
0:25from the World Cup is not coming to fruition.
0:28People do not want to come to the United States to watch FIFA, and so
0:33we're seeing lots and lots of cancellations of pre -booked hotel rooms.
0:39We're seeing a lot of vacancies that weren't expected, and we're hearing a growing chorus
0:46of people saying, boycott the World Cup.
0:49Donald Trump is a war criminal.
0:52We cannot show up to the United States.
0:54Things are way too expensive over there.
0:58Inflation is surging. Things are unaffordable in the United States.
1:01Donald Trump's talking about ICE and Border Patrol, Gestapo, traveling around the World Cup to
1:07harass, intimidate, and kidnap people.
1:10Donald Trump keeps talking about attacking this country and that country.
1:15Donald Trump threatened the lives of the Iranian footballer, soccer player, saying, all right, come
1:21to the United States. We'll take good care of you.
1:24We'll see what'll happen to you.
1:25I mean, he's making clear threats that he will hurt the Iranian soccer or football
1:30team, and they say, look, we're going to show up to the World Cup.
1:33We ain't playing in the United States.
1:35I mean, we'll play in Canada and Mexico, but we ain't showing up to the
1:38United States. And then we're seeing international op -eds.
1:41Now is the time to boycott the World Cup.
1:44We have to hit Donald Trump where it hurts.
1:47If he's going to abuse the world, hit him back with the World Cup.
1:51And by the way, not just a World Cup boycott is brewing.
1:56Saudi Arabia recognize you. Want to know where to hit Donald Trump where it hurts
2:00the most? Golf, right? Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund is behind the Live Golf Tournament
2:08and the Live League. Remember the big golf league that consumed all of professional golf,
2:15and it was funded by Saudi Arabia?
2:17Saudi Arabia's like, oops, I guess we ran out of money, Donald, because your security
2:23umbrella in the Middle East, guess what?
2:25It fell apart. Remember the quid pro quo?
2:28I scratch your back, you scratch our back.
2:30We invest in the Trump properties, and we buy your crypto, and we do all
2:35of these pay -for -play schemes you've been demanding from us.
2:38Qatar buys you a jet.
2:40This one gives you this.
2:42Remember that? Yeah, you didn't take care of us.
2:44Not only that, you and Netanyahu went it alone.
2:47You invaded Iran unlawfully, didn't tell us, and you've destroyed our economy.
2:52So NBS, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, is like, out of luck here.
2:57Just don't have enough money to keep on funding Live, which means that all of
3:02these golfers who left the PGA originally, remember, and they signed up for Live, and
3:06now they're like, well, what are we going to do right now?
3:10And so he who giveth, taketh away.
3:14Let's go through these facts step by step, though, so you can see what is
3:18going on right here. Here was the headline from the Daily Beast earlier in the
3:23day. Demand as panic hotels hotels slash rates.
3:28Donald Trump is panicking as the demand at these panicked hotels slash their rates.
3:34Panicked U .S. hotels are slashing roommates for the World Cup amid a demand shortfall
3:39exacerbated by what executives believe is being driven by a surge in anti -American sentiment.
3:45Hat tip to Isabel Ben -Burn for writing this.
3:47Industry executives had hopes that FIFA's World Cup would revive last year's slump in travel
3:52to the United States. Last year, FIFA projected that millions of international visitors would give
3:58the U .S. a $30 .5 billion economic boost, but that demand hasn't materialized, forcing
4:04FIFA to begin canceling tens of thousands of reserve rooms and host cities across the
4:09country. Eleven U .S. cities will be hosting matches during the World Cup, scheduled from
4:14June 11th through July 19th.
4:16Lior Seckler, chief commercial officer and hotel operator at HRI Hospitality, told the Financial Times
4:24the Trump regime is to blame for the slump, partially to blame for the slump.
4:29Obviously, people's desire to come to the United States right now is down, said Seckler,
4:34pointing to the unrest caused by Trump's war in Iran and his hardline immigration crackdown.
4:39Yes, he kidnaps people with ICE and Border Patrol Gestapo.
4:42He kills you. He kidnaps you.
4:44He throws you into concentration camps.
4:46That's what the Trump regime does.
4:48Then they call you a terrorist after they kill you.
4:50FIFA may ask Trump to pause immigration and customs enforcement raids during the tournament this
4:56summer. The Athletic reported Aaron Ryan, director of industry studies at research group tourism economics,
5:02agreed, saying that pre -existing anti -U .S.
5:05sentiment amid the second Trump administration has been made worse by the Iran war.
5:09I'm seeing a lot of people start to panic and lower for their rates.
5:12Scott Yesner, founder of Philadelphia -based short -term rental and boutique hotel management company Bespoke
5:17Stay, told the publication. The Daily Beast contacted FIFA for comment, and they did not
5:23comment. And then, of course, you know, FIFA gave Donald Trump that ridiculous peace prize
5:28back in a few months ago.
5:30And then Donald Trump just said, you know what, I'm going to invade the entire
5:33world, and I'm going to commit this war crime and that war crime, Donald Trump,
5:36the war criminal. Now, as Jorgen Naudit explained back on March 22nd, 2026, when Donald
5:45Trump posted the following, Jorgen Naudit said, do you have a ticket for the World
5:49Cup in the USA? Sell it.
5:52Donald Trump posted back on March 22nd.
5:55Last month, he goes, on Monday, ICE will be going to airports to help our
5:59wonderful TSA agents who have stayed on the job, despite the fact that the radical
6:04left Democrats who are only focused on protecting hardline criminals who have entered our country
6:09are endangering the USA. They will do a fantastic job.
6:12So yes, as Aaron Rupar explains, enjoy the World Cup.
6:16Visitors from around the world, I hope you don't end up in El Salvador because
6:20Donald Trump kidnaps people in the United States.
6:24He sends you to either concentration camps here or he sends you to concentration camps
6:28in El Salvador. And I wish I was being hyperbolic, but that's literally what Donald
6:32Trump does. Also regarding the Iranian footballer, their national soccer team, just so you know
6:38what Donald Trump said specifically about them a few weeks back, he goes, the Iran
6:42national soccer team is welcome to the World Cup, but I really don't believe it
6:47is appropriate that they be there for their own life and safety.
6:52Thank you for your attention to this matter.
6:54So Donald Trump threatening the life of athletes, but what else would you expect from
6:58a guy who threatens to destroy the entire civilization of Iran?
7:02It's obviously expected that he's going to threaten the lives of the soccer or football
7:07players when they're here to play the World Cup.
7:09That's what war criminals, authoritarians like Donald Trump do.
7:13I mean, you had the Guardian saying a World Cup boycott over Trump.
7:17Football's hypotheticals cannot be dismissed anymore.
7:21Unprecedented times call for previously unthinkable conversations when it comes to the U .S.
7:26shape problems. And then we heard, of course, from European officials calling for the boycott
7:32as well. We heard from top German officials over who were top German officials who
7:40were very influential in the World Cup saying that they would do these boycotts.
7:45You may recall a senior German politician suggested Germany could boycott in 2026.
7:51Jorgen Hart said the idea is meant to pressure Trump, noting how important the tournament
7:56is for him. You're going to threaten to invade Greenland.
7:58Yeah, we're not going to show up to the World Cup.
8:00How about a senior figure in German football by the name of Ock Gottlich, a
8:05vice president of German's Football Association?
8:08He's saying that, look, at the end of the day, based on Donald Trump's behavior,
8:12seems like the only logical decision is to boycott it.
8:16This is British comedian actor John Bishop calling for a boycott.
8:20Here's what he had to say.
8:22Play this clip. My feeling is boycotting.
8:25Really? Honestly, I think the World Cup is a joke.
8:28I think FIFA giving Donald Trump a big rosette and a peace prize has undermined
8:35everything that football's about. I think the fact that it's being played in a country
8:39that's threatening not to give visas to the players, to the staff, to the fans,
8:44I think it's ridiculous. I think it's a complete embarrassment.
8:48That wasn't the answer you were expecting.
8:49It wasn't, but it's not what I entirely disagree with.
8:52It's not exactly three lines on your chest, is it?
8:55But it is. I think the World Cup is now a joke.
8:58I don't think I'll be giving it any time.
9:01It's really undermined what football's all about.
9:04And then as we turn our attention to the Saudi -funded Live Golf Tournament, this
9:10was the headline from the New York Times, Saudi fund to back away from Live
9:14Golf under mounting financial pressure.
9:17The Saudi league, established in 2022, attracted some of the sport's biggest stars with huge
9:22contracts. Officials have said that the oil -rich kingdom is re -evaluating its priorities amid
9:29mounting financial pressures. Jake Sherman, citing the Golf Channel, says, these golfers have no moves
9:36to make. They can join the PGA Tour, the DP World Tour, or they can
9:42stop playing professional golf. Those are the moves they can make.
9:46As Golf Channel writes, with the news of a possible cease of operations of Live
9:51Golf, which players' moves are you monitoring?
9:55Sherman also writes, looks like Live Golf, the circus tour, may be coming to an
10:00end. Very interesting. Live is facing the possibility of imminent closure, with Saudi Arabia's public
10:05investment fund on the verge of pulling its backing for Live.
10:09According to a person familiar with the matter, Live Golf executives have been summoned to
10:14New York City for an emergency meeting amidst reporting that the league's future is in
10:18question. Players are reportedly in the dark over the future, and the meeting has nothing
10:23to do with potential DP World Tour merger, Telegraph Sports reports.
10:28And just as an aside, Spirit Airlines, going bankrupt, could liquidate and shut down as
10:32soon as this week. CNBC report, citing people familiar with the matter.
10:36Latest round of chatter about a deeply troubled airline.
10:39but rising fuel prices could be its death knell.
10:42Donald Trump killed live. Donald Trump killed spirit.
10:46And Donald Trump killed something as lovely and beautiful and bipartisan and as something that
10:52should be bringing people together as the FIFA World Cup because he's tainted it.
10:57He's made it a grotesque thing.
10:59But that's what happens when you have Donald Trump.
11:01I mean, do you remember when Donald Trump was given that peace prize by the
11:06head of FIFA, that FIFA bootlicker sycophant weirdo guy?
11:10You remember what happened? Here, play this clip right here.
11:13Let's play it. This is your peace prize.
11:15There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want
11:22to go. I'm going to wear it right now.
11:25Okay. Let me hold. Ah, fantastic.
11:29Excellent. Yeah. I mean, that was so sickening, so grotesque right there.
11:38And let's just hear what some of the Congress members are saying.
11:40You have Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia.
11:43Here's what she has to say.
11:45Congressman, how confident are you that the World Cup is safe for people to come
11:49here under the Trump administration?
11:51Seems to be like a lot of your colleagues are expressing some skepticism about whether
11:55or not. Well, I am a little concerned.
11:58And early on, I when I met with our local organizing committee, because the the
12:05fan day or the fan events are all going to be in my district when
12:10they're going to be in Houston.
12:13I'm concerned about security. I'm concerned about ISIS presence.
12:18And I did write a letter to DHS asking about that.
12:21And of course, I got a very noncommittal response.
12:25So I still am waiting to see what what they're going to commit to.
12:31But I know that they haven't committed to any to not being there.
12:35Not that I recall. Okay.
12:40But I know that our mayor's working hard with all the different regional task forces
12:45and the regional law enforcement to make sure that they do their job.
12:51So I guess like what would your message be to people who are coming from
12:54all over the world? That is it?
12:55Should they come? Is it safe?
12:56Like, you know, it seems like a lot of people have seen what's going on.
13:00They're very concerned. Well, I think they should come.
13:04They should come to Houston.
13:05We're a welcoming city. And I know our mayor will do everything possible to make
13:09sure that they have a good and safe event.
13:12Then you have Congressional World Cup Caucus member Nellie Powell.
13:17Here's what she has to say to our team.
13:19Let's play this clip. So Congresswoman, what are some of your concerns moving toward the
13:23World Cup in 77 days or so?
13:26You know, now that the funds have been released to secure the venues and travel?
13:32Yeah. Well, first of all, let me just say they finally did what they should
13:35have done a long time ago.
13:37If you really go back to their very own, when I'm talking about they, I'm
13:41talking about DHS, when the Department of Homeland Security, when you go to their very
13:48own website, their website said back in August that they were going to be able
13:54to release those funds in September 30th of 2025.
14:00So by their own admission, they were obviously not only did we provide them, we
14:06being Congress provided them the $625 million in order to fund the security and for
14:13all of the host cities.
14:14But they then were much delayed back in January.
14:20Once again, the alarms went off.
14:23We've been talking about it.
14:24Finally, they just handed or released the funds, I should say, that was long and
14:32coming. The games are upon us, practically upon us in 77 days.
14:38I know that we really want to make sure that everything's in place.
14:43And lastly, what I would say, I want to make sure that immigration, and particularly
14:49ICE, when I say immigration, I'm referring to ICE itself, that they are absolutely not
14:56going to create any kind of chaos for any of the games that are going
15:02around and through the entire country, but especially in my very own district of that
15:09of midlife, which is scheduled to take place soon.
15:13And I guess since the funds weren't approved, or weren't distributed on time, through your
15:18work on the World Cup caucus, is the World Cup safe?
15:21Like, are you confident that it's going to be safe for people to travel here
15:23from around the world to see these games?
15:25That is exactly what we will absolutely be working towards, making sure that fans and
15:31spectators and community residents and all of our constituents that are super excited about being
15:39able to participate and see the World Cup, that they're able to do that, not
15:45feeling concerned or fearful of any actions that ICE can, in fact, do.
15:51We know the chaos that they have been able to create.
15:54We want to make sure that they are staying far away from doing that.
15:59We will be secured. That is, that I can assure you, it is absolutely one
16:05of the most, um, primary concern of all of us but we also want them
16:11to feel as though that they're there enjoying the part uh the viewing of the
16:17and participating in these games without any fear well there you have it folks let
