2:20MAGA Mike Johnson, the Republican Speaker of the House, is panicking after MAGA Republicans in
2:26the Senate passed by a unanimous consent motion, a bill that would just fund TSA
2:33agents and not fund ICE and Border Patrol, which is exactly what Democrats had been
2:40proposing for some time. And that followed Donald Trump making a social media post saying
2:46that via executive order, he would be funding the TSA using funds that were already
2:52appropriated to the Department of Homeland Security, thus showing that Donald Trump could have been
2:57funding the TSA for many, many weeks now, as we've been saying at the Midas
3:02Touch Network. So the sequence of events is that Donald Trump says that he's going
3:06to fund the TSA via an executive order, which he could have done for a
3:10long time. Then around 2 a .m.
3:13in the United States Senate, Senator John Kennedy, MAGA Republican from Louisiana, basically adopted the
3:21Democrat plan, the Democratic plan to just fund TSA.
3:25Then the MAGA Republicans were going to defer ICE and Border Patrol funding, perhaps at
3:31a later time during reconciliation proceedings in a few weeks or a few months.
3:37Then the Senate left. They left Washington, D .C.
3:41I mean, they got in planes and they went home to their districts and said,
3:45see you later. So that means the House of Representatives would basically have to pass
3:50an identical bill to what the Senate passed just funding the TSA.
3:55And by the way, Donald Trump said he was doing that via executive order.
4:00And if there were any changes made to what the Senate passed in the House,
4:05the Senate would have to come back.
4:07But you see, the problem is the Senate left and they ain't coming back for
4:11the next two weeks. That's what I talked about in the video I made earlier
4:15today. The next time the Senate's going to come back, it's like the second week
4:18of April. So we still have this partial government shutdown of DHS.
4:23And while TSA is going to now be funded via this executive order, that money
4:29is getting pulled from other areas in order to fund TSA.
4:33And the MAGA Republicans want to make sure that ICE and Border Patrol get additional
4:39funding because they're already well funded.
4:41Let's be very clear. They've gotten hundreds of billions of dollars.
4:44I want to see ICE and Border Patrol abolished.
4:46They don't need any money at all, in my view.
4:49But Republicans want to give them more money.
4:51Democrats have set the conditions.
4:52No masks. Must use search warrants.
4:54Must identify yourself. Can't be at polling stations.
4:58But the MAGA Republicans don't want any of those conditions.
5:01And the MAGA Republicans want to make sure that they have more money to torture
5:05and maim and kill and terrorize people here in the United States and expand the
5:10concentration camp system. that is being built here in the United States.
5:14And so ultimately, when this was passed from the Senate to the House, the House
5:18said, uh -uh, we are not just going to fund the TSA.
5:22We want to make sure the Department of Homeland Security, ICE, and Border Patrol get
5:28extra funding so they can do the torture.
5:30That's what we want. So we're not going to support you MAGA Republicans in the
5:35Senate. So come back, senators, because we in the House, we're going to do what's
5:39called a continuing resolution regarding the previous status quo funding in order to make sure
5:46all of DHS is funded.
5:48Now, the Democrats have objected to that in the Senate and have threatened the filibuster,
5:53and Republicans don't have enough votes to obtain cloture.
5:57And so Republicans made a deal with the Democrats not to fund ICE and Border
6:01Patrol. But the MAGA Republicans in the House were like, screw that.
6:05We can't support that. So we're not just going to fund TSA alone.
6:10We want to make sure that ICE can wear masks and have no search warrants
6:14and terrorize and torture people.
6:16And so the MAGA Republicans in the House have been panicking, MAGA Mike, and they're
6:20like, we're going to do a continuing resolution that funds everything.
6:24Come back, senators. We're going to force a vote on this.
6:27And the senators are like, giving MAGA Mike the middle finger.
6:30The MAGA Republican Senate, good luck.

6:34They're all on airplanes. They've all left, by the way.

6:58Well, we'll see. We made some temporary headway, but we've got a lot of work
7:03to do still. So after the House of Representatives got word that the Senate passed
7:08via a unanimous consent motion, the funding just for the TSA, you had MAGA Republicans
7:13just flipping out. Like MAGA Republican Mark Harris posted the following, I am done with
7:18Senate Republicans. Their failure to fully fund DHS is not just disappointing.
7:23It's a disgrace. They refuse to fund ICE units that target sex traffickers.
7:27They refuse to fund border patrol agents.
7:29And where is the Save America Act?
7:31Once again, they have failed the American people.
7:33They have made one thing clear.
7:35America's safety is not their priority.
7:37MAGA Republican Congress member Chip Roy writes, why would Senate GOP throw Democrats a political
7:43lifeline now to fund TSA that doesn't fund ICE and border patrol and in the
7:51process likely get off of Save America Act to go home for Easter recess?
7:55As our editor -in -chief, Ron Filipkowski writes, more proof that Republicans wanted to withhold
8:01TSA funding to cause airport chaos for negotiating leverage.
8:05Everything they said about airports being a mess over the past two weeks is exactly
8:10what they wanted. Let's just think logically together.
8:13If Donald Trump just signed an executive order funding TSA, which he did late last
8:18night and he signed it today, he could have done that weeks ago, right?
8:22This whole mess was manufactured by Republicans.
8:25And if the Senate Republicans were willing to just fund TSA alone, which they were
8:31able to do, why couldn't they do that weeks ago?
8:34Democrats kept on introducing that, right?
8:35I'm just speaking logically. I'm not speaking as a partisan, right?
8:39And now the MAGA Republicans in the House can fund TSA.
8:42And they're saying, nope, we need to give extra money to ICE and border patrol.
8:46Why? Just fund TSA now.
8:48And then you could have the debate and the discussion on ICE and border patrol,
8:51but get TSA funded in a meaningful and material way.
8:54That's all. And meanwhile, Democrats in the Senate said, look, under no circumstance will we
9:00support any 60 -day continuing resolution that the House passes.
9:05That's dead on arrival in the Senate.
9:07So if you go and pass this in the House, even though all the senators
9:11gone, when you send this back to us in the Senate, we ain't passing that
9:14at all. So good luck.
9:16See you later. So with all of that as background, MAGA Mike just held a
9:20press conference. And during the press conference, MAGA Mike acted like Democrats were in the
9:25majority of the Senate and the House when Republicans control the majority in the Senate
9:30and Republicans control the majority in the House.
9:33And what's happening now, Republican House members and MAGA Mike are panicking and attacking Republican
9:39Senate members. But somehow MAGA Mike turns this into an attack on Democrats.
9:43The MAGA Republicans in the Senate were the ones who did the unanimous consent motion
9:48that allowed TSA to get funded.
9:51You're attacking them. The Democrats supported it.
9:54Sure. Democrats want TSA to be funded.
9:56But wake up, MAGA Mike.
9:58So here's MAGA Mike. He's like, this was unconscionable that the Democrats would wait until
10:023 a .m. to do this gambit.

10:12We're not doing that. And it is unconscionable to me that the Democrats would force
10:17some sort of negotiation at 3 o 'clock in the morning and try to hoist
10:20this upon the American people and then get on their jets and go home for
10:23their holiday and pretend and think that we're going to go along with that.
10:28So we're going to do something different.
10:29We're going to do the responsible thing.
10:31Republicans are going to continue to govern and do the right thing morally, legally and
10:36politically. We're going to take care of those who take care of those.
10:39care of us. The employees and the Department of Homeland Security have gone without funding
10:45and without paychecks for 42 days.
10:48It's the second longest shutdown in U .S.

10:58houses in Congress. Republicans can't govern for SHI, and he uses the curse word.

11:59They want to give zero dollars to enforcing federal immigration laws and keeping the border
12:04secure. That was the biggest issue in the election of 2024, the wide -open border
12:08that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris hoisted upon the country.
12:11And 20 million, by some estimates, 20 million dangerous criminal illegal aliens included in that
12:17number came over the border.
12:18We have terrorists in our country.
12:20We have obviously murderers. They're putting it on display.
12:23And then these big blue cities that have sanctuary city policies, they're releasing these people
12:26onto the streets. They released them over the border when they came over under the
12:29Biden years. And that is the turmoil that we're facing right now.
12:33The very serious threats to the homeland and everybody.
12:35It's not just long lines at the airport.
12:38It is the danger and safety of everyone.

13:33it because it's pretty alarming.
13:35And it says everything that you need to know in section four.
13:38This is on page two of the bill.
13:40This is this is an actual this is an actual copy of the bill that
13:43that excerpt. It says, quote, the contents printed under the headings of this bill, U
13:50.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Security Operations under the heading of U .S.
13:56Customs and Border Patrol and Protection shall have no force or effect for purposes of
14:02this act and amounts specified in the final bill under the subheading Border Security Operations
14:08and under the heading U .S.
14:10Customs and Border Protection and under the headings of U .S.
14:13Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the Department of Homeland Security shall be zero.
14:21We're not doing that. And it is unconscionable to me that the Democrats would force
14:26some sort of negotiation at three o 'clock in the morning and try to hoist

15:02Donald Trump is telling state regime media, which calls itself Fox, in a call that
15:06the Senate bill that passed in the overnight hours to fund all of DHS, except
15:10CBP and ICE, wasn't appropriate.
15:13Donald Trump told Fox, well, it wasn't good.
15:15It wasn't appropriate. Now what they should do is they should terminate the filibuster and
15:20just vote. But you have three or four Republicans in there that are not doing
15:23the right thing. You can't have a bill that's not going to fund, in my
15:26opinion. You can't have a bill that's not going to fund ICE.
15:30You can't have a bill that's not going to fund any form of law enforcement,
15:34of which ICE is a big form, and so is Border Patrol.
15:37Then Donald Trump ran to social media and wrote, the Republicans should terminate the filibuster
15:42and vote. Haven't they had enough of this nonsense from the radical left lunatics that
15:47are looking to destroy our country?
15:49Make America great again, Donald J.
15:52Trump. And so just, I don't want you to be confused here.
15:54To be clear, based on Donald Trump's executive order, the TSA agents should be funded,
15:59but he should have signed that order weeks ago.
16:01Still, Donald Trump's executive order is likely unlawful because he doesn't have the power.
16:07power of the purse, people probably won't challenge it because we want TSA agents to
16:12get their funds, to get paid, right?
16:14So no one's going to challenge it, even though we had the money.
16:17The process that should happen is the Senate and the House pass a bill.
16:22Donald Trump signs it into law, but now the Senate's passed basically what Trump signed.
16:27They said, let's fund the TSA.
16:29The House is rejecting it, right?
16:32So there's no way to have that law.
16:33The House is telling the Senate, come back.
16:35The Senate's saying, we ain't coming back.
16:37And then the Democrats in the Senate are saying, even if you send it back,
16:40we have enough votes for a filibuster.
16:42So Donald Trump's saying, let's stop the filibuster and let's talk about genital mutilation and
16:48let's bully transgender people because that's where Donald Trump is reducing every argument to bully
16:53transgender people, right? That's the lay of the land, folks.
16:56So hopefully that explains it for you.
