3:17Wednesday edition. The primary in Texas is over.

3:21Continued discussion of the war in Iran.

3:24Our buddy Jesse Kelly will join us in the second hour.

3:28In the third hour, we are hoping that maybe Yael Eckstein will be able to

3:33join us. She is from the IFCJ.

3:35As missiles are raining down on Israel, we will see whether that ends up happening

3:40or not. But we appreciate all of you hanging out with us.

3:44And let's go right to it.

3:46I've said before, Buck, that I love early morning press conferences.

3:52And I understand that people in media do not like to get up early in

3:57the morning. I had five years of early morning radio.

4:01Nobody else was awake. I love making media members get up early and have to

4:08go cover events. I've talked about it at the White House.

4:11I particularly love that the Secretary of War and that everybody there is doing early

4:18morning press conferences because it sets the entire agenda of the day.

4:22And here is what I thought was the most significant aspect of what Secretary of

4:30War Pete Hegseth said. That basically, and Buck, I want you to analyze this as

4:36well. We are close to having complete and total control of the skies over Iran.

4:43Here is cut six. U .S.

4:51and Israeli air power. Every minute of every day until we decide it's over.

4:56And Iran will be able to do nothing about it.

4:59B -2s, B -52s, B -1s, Predator drones, fighters controlling the skies, picking targets.

5:06Death and destruction from the sky all day long.

5:11We're playing for keeps. Our warfighters have maximum authorities granted personally by the President and

5:16yours truly. Our rules of engagement are bold, precise, and designed to unleash American power,

5:22not shackle it. This was never meant to be.

5:25a fair fight and it is not a fair fight we are punching them while

5:29they're down which is exactly how it should be all right we're finishing them uh

5:34would be another way of pointing this out buck let me hit you with another

5:37couple of pieces of data uh raisin kane as trump calls him uh general kane

5:42says iran's this is a direct quote ballistic missile shots fired are down 86 percent

5:49from the first day of fighting 23 percent decrease just in the last 24 hours

5:55one -way attack drones down 73 percent from the opening salvos that were fired uh

6:03why is this significant because what we are seeing is iran's ability to fire back

6:10is diminishing in a hurry um and i i understand that that the talking points

6:15are this war has just begun uh i i think that is largely to uh

6:20to try to drive iran towards an agreement on who the next leader will be

6:26um but to me the story now and you correct me if uh if you

6:30see anything else here is iran's ability to fire back sort of indiscriminately which they've

6:35been doing peppering many different gulf states with uh drones with missiles is basically vanishing

6:43uh soon it will be gone and when that occurs america's air superiority will be

6:48even more pronounced and then it's really just a question of to what extent is

6:53iran willing to negotiate with us to determine what their new government will look like

6:59and who the leaders are uh is that a fair assessment in your mind well

7:05mostly yes except negotiate with with whom well this is the problem is that there

7:12really is not a um a sort of set and clear uh alternative to what

7:20we currently have uh which is now gone or rather is mostly gone and there's

7:27a lot of factionalism this is where you get into this is a large and

7:32complicated country we've thought of it as uh in this country i think a lot

7:36of media coverage has made people think of it more as a monolith people will

7:41refer to all iranians as persians well persians are just one ethnic group actually in

7:45iran 60 according to the numbers that i saw buck there are there are kurds

7:50there are azaris there are turkmen there are i mean there are so many different

7:56ethnic factions otherwise that i i can't name i mean there's a there's a dozen

8:01or more that will make the list there's a lot of them is the point

8:04and when you actually talk about a uh resistance forming from within i think what

8:13we what we want clay the lesson of iraq is you cannot remove everybody who

8:20had any function in the pre previous government unless you want bloody anarchy which is

8:27what we ended up getting we you cannot have every person who ever held the

8:32gun for and and received a paycheck from a government that is was run by

8:38the ayatollah or formerly run by the ayatollah uh you can't get rid of all

8:44of them you need somebody from within who has enough uh wasta i think they

8:53would say in in arabic in the middle east you need somebody with enough juice

8:56that they can say all right we can calm things down we can approach america

9:02or american intermediaries directly there's already reporting out there i mean there's reporting up on

9:08cnn of uh i mean this is the cnn report it says cia working to

9:14arm kurdish kurdish forces to spark uprising in iran according to sources is that true

9:19is that not true this is what uh this is what cnn is reporting i

9:24can tell you this that's that comes with a lot uh the whole kurdish thing

9:29we went through this in iraq and the kurds are often a pretty reliable allies

9:35they fight um they kept northern iraq very stable even during the worst periods of

9:41the iraqi insurgency anybody who was if you went from you know baghdad or ramadi

9:46or or mosul to erbil uh in the military military military side it felt like

9:51you were in a completely different country uh if you were in what they called

9:55kurdistan but the turks get very aggravated because there's a lot of a lot of

10:00kurds in turkey and they they have their own separatist problem in turkey so it's

10:05just you're you're getting into midi's factionalism here what you need is someone who is

10:11a rational actor from within the existing apparatus not an ideologue not bloodied substantially by

10:21engaged in you know irgc coulds for stuff or whatever does this person exist i

10:28don't know i i you know we talked about venez venezuela is different venezuela has

10:33had democratic elections until quite recently and yes there's oppression and there's been the you

10:40know the maduro regime stole the last election and yes they've been thuggish and but

10:47clay you don't have to go back very far for there to be something resembling

10:51a real election in venezuela you don't have to go back very far for there

10:52to be something resembling a real election in venezuela I don't know.

10:53You go back to 2012, right?

10:54Right. And that's when Chavez took charge, I believe, right?

10:58Wasn't it 2012? 2011, 2012.

11:02So in the Islamic Republic, you got to talk, or rather, you know, in Iran,

11:08you got to go back to 1979, and even then they didn't have elections.

11:12They had a Shah. So what is the game plan for all of this?

11:17I think it's being figured out on the fly.

11:20But I think that Secretary of War Hegsat's plan is we're going to completely defang

11:25the snake, and then we'll see if the snake wants to play ball.

11:28But the snake will have no fangs, that is for sure.

11:32And I just, let me make a suggestion, because I know we got a lot

11:36of people in the administration who listen.

11:40I think one of the most compelling arguments they can make, and Buck, again, tell

11:45me if you think this is crazy.

11:46I made it yesterday, but I haven't seen it, because now the argument is, well,

11:50they haven't really been able to give us a full -throated explanation of what the

11:55motivation is. Well, the motivation is clearly to keep Iran from getting nuclear weapons.

11:59That's the motivation for all of this.

12:01This is basically doing to Iran what we should have done to North Korea in

12:07the 1990s. Because the world would be infinitely better if that crazy, fat dictator in

12:13North Korea did not have nuclear weapons.

12:16And now that he does, we can't really do anything.

12:20The world is unstable because of him.

12:24Do we want a... Now, the only thing I will say in favor of Kim

12:29Jong -un is probably get clipped.

12:31People will be like, Clay Travis loves Kim Jong -un.

12:33Like, Clay Travis loves Kim Jong -un, loves all the big posters, the potbelly, all

12:38of it. Big Kim Jong -un guy here.

12:40He's not a religious fundamentalist.

12:42That's the only thing I think you can say in his favor.

12:47North Korea? I don't think he's a religious fundamentalist, is he?

12:51Oh, no, he is. He's just God.

12:53But this is a whole other conversation.

12:54Well, he thinks he's God.

12:55But, yeah, well, that's... But my point is...

12:57I think you're a fundamentalist when you're God.

12:59But, yeah, okay, fair enough.

13:00Well, my point is he's not reading a book convinced that everybody else who is

13:04not a member of that religion is an infidel.

13:08And he's not trying to impose his religion.

13:11I don't think so. Look, you're coming too hard after my boy Kim Jong -un

13:15here. I'm pretty familiar with North Korea stuff.

13:17And I got to tell you, they have the most crazy racist...

13:22They're absolutely... You know, like, we are vermin.

13:25Non -Koreans are considered vermin in North Korean propaganda.

13:30I mean, actually subhuman. And they use all kinds of...

13:34But it's a crazy place.

13:37We agree we wish that they did not have nuclear weapons.

13:41My point is, to my knowledge, North Korea has been unable to, in some way,

13:48or even demonstrate, that they're going to enact terror upon the rest of the world

13:53in a substantial way. I know they had the one attack on the subway.

13:56No, no. They do the terrorism thing, too.

13:58So your point is that, basically...

14:01Clay, you're going rogue here, buddy.

14:02You're going rogue. I'm trying to be positive here in saying that I think Iran

14:06having nuclear weapons is even more dangerous than North Korea.

14:11But the argument should be that North Korea having nuclear weapons is absolutely awful for

14:18the world. And if we had been smart in the early 90s, we would have

14:22wiped out their ability to ever have nuclear weapons.

14:25That's what we're doing with Iran.

14:27And I think Iran is even more dangerous than North Korea, based on what they

14:33have demonstrated for 50 years now, that they want to wipe many countries off the

14:39world, including Israel, but also death to America, everything else.

14:43So the argument, to me, is pretty clear.

14:45It is President Trump is making a determination that for the next 40 years or

14:5050 years or who knows how long, we're not going to have to deal with

14:54the nuclear Iran because it destabilizes the rest of the world even more than North

14:58Korea does now. And if we could go back in time into the 90s, we

15:02would have wiped out North Korea's nuclear ambitions.

15:05I haven't heard anybody make that argument.

15:06I think that's the best argument for what we're doing with Iran right now.

15:09We certainly didn't want another nuclear standoff like what we had with North Korea.

15:15But North Korea has already been, whether it's for proliferation or destabilizing activities, support of

15:23terrorism, assassinations, kidnappings, the North Korean Intelligence Service operates like a nation -state -backed, basically

15:37terrorist operation. So my argument of trying to be kind and say that Iran is

15:42a more dangerous North Korea, you actually think North Korea might be more dangerous than

15:46Iran? North Korea is the craziest place on planet Earth by far.

15:50I was too kind. I was too kind to Kim Jong -un.

15:53They're really crazy. But it would be good if we didn't have a North Korean

15:58twin with nuclear weapons. That, to me, is a really compelling argument that is easy

16:02to understand. I co -sign that we do not need a country with totalitarian dictatorship

16:08that also believes if we have a massive war, it will hearken the return of

16:14the 12th imam, and there is religious prophecy that will come out of the nuclear

16:18flames. But North Korea is the most powerful thing.

16:20It does want to kill everybody in South Korea and probably America, too.

16:24But do you think they really do, or is that just a delusional, crazy person?

16:29More so, like the apparatus surrounding...

16:32They've executed senior generals of the North Korean regime with anti -aircraft pieces, just to

16:36make a point. They're pretty bad.

16:38He's crazy. It's bad that he has nuclear weapons.

16:41I look at North Korea and say, if Kim Jong -un was gone, I think

16:47North Korea actually could reconciliate with South Korea, and there is a way in which

16:53that country eventually could return to normalcy in the world.

16:58And much of it is a cult of personality driven around one person.

17:06And maybe I'm just too kind to North Korea.

17:08There is the possibility. Maybe the headline should be, Clay is too kind to North

17:11Korea. You're going to get an invite to Pyongyang at this rate.

17:15You and Dennis Rodman. We're going to be just chilling, playing a basketball game with

17:19my boy Kim Jong -un.

17:21I will say the stories of what they did when that movie was made about

17:26the assassination of Kim Jong -un.

17:29The interview, I think, with James...

17:33Who did that movie back in the day?

17:35Do you remember that movie?

17:36James Franco. James Franco and Seth Rogen.

17:39That led to the hacking of Sony, which was a huge problem.

17:43By the way, just a point about North Korea, Clay.

17:45They also operate as nation -state -backed global hackers trying to steal everything from crypto

17:51to state secrets to... And what are you going to do?

17:54You're going to go to Interpol and say, hey, we think that we traced the

17:57source to North Korea. Good luck with that one.

18:00But if we could go back in time and wave a magic wand and we

18:03wiped out North Korea's ability to ever have nuclear weapons, North Korea might not exist

18:07as a country today, right?

18:08Oh, I think that's probably true.

18:10So the analogy here of we're trying to avoid creating another North Korea, to me,

18:16I think is a really good one.

18:17Have you heard anybody making that argument?

18:18I haven't heard it anywhere.

18:20Well, the argument you will hear people make is the Gaddafi lesson isn't reconcile with

18:26America if you're a dictator.

18:27It's get nukes as fast as you can.

18:30Because otherwise, that's the other side of this equation.

18:32That's the rational choice to make.

18:34And if you question it, Ukraine wouldn't have gotten invaded by Russia if they hadn't

18:38given up their nukes. That's also true.

18:41And we promised them that that would never happen.

18:44We would protect them and never allow that to happen.

24:46We were talking about the plan with regard to Iran and I said defang.

24:51It turns out that's exactly what Secretary Rubio said.

24:55Great minds think alike. I didn't even know about this one.

24:59From what I've been told by the Department of War, everything is on or ahead

25:02of schedule and proceeding on these objectives.

25:04We have every confidence in the world that these objectives will be achieved.

25:08The last point I would make is, and I said this yesterday and I repeat,

25:11what's about, you know, you're about to see, you know, we're going to unleash Chang

25:15on these people in the next few hours and days.

25:17You're going to really begin to perceive a change in the scope and in the

25:20intensity of these attacks as, frankly, the two most powerful air forces in the world

25:25take apart this terroristic regime and defang it and take away its ability to threaten

25:30its neighbors or hide behind a zone of immunity that allows them to develop their

25:34nuclear ambitions. This terroristic, radical, cleric -led regime cannot be ever allowed to have nuclear

25:42weapons. We just blew up the Iranian flagship, Clay, with a torpedo.

25:48The first time the U .S.

25:50has taken down a ship with a torpedo since World War II.

25:54I saw that. For the military history nerds out there, I don't even know how

25:58many ships Iran has, but I don't feel like they have a very, very long

26:04history of seafaring left in their future here.

27:27Let me circle back around on this angle and see if you'll buy into this

27:31argument, Buck. The reason why I think Iran with nuclear weapons is more dangerous than

27:38North Korea with nuclear weapons, both are dangerous, but the reason why I think the

27:43North Korean argument is a good one, is my concern is if the Ayatollah dies

27:48and Iran has nuclear weapons, the reason why the Ayatollah is in power is there

27:54are enough fundamentalists in Iran that the power of the Ayatollah is not coming from

28:03top down, it's from bottom up.

28:05In other words, there are lots of fundamentalists who believe that they need to kill

28:09people in order to spread their faith.

28:12And the leader then is a reflection of what many actually believe in the country,

28:18which means the length of time that they can have nuclear weapons is in danger

28:23for many different leaders. I think most people are lying when they say, oh, we

28:29love Kim Jong -un. They fear him because he's very powerful, but there isn't actually

28:34a fundamentalist belief system of the same way.

28:38When people leave North Korea, they tend to embrace Western values and suddenly realize the

28:45rest of the world is great.

28:46There are people who leave Middle Eastern countries and decide that they're going to act

28:52out based on their religion.

28:54Does that make sense? I think the religion of Kim Jong -un or whatever it

28:57is in North Korea is not actually real.

29:00People are just terrified if they don't put his photo up that they're going to

29:04be killed because he is a very supremely powerful person.

29:07But if he were gone, there actually could be some sanity in that country.

29:11My concern, and we'll see what happens now, is now that we've cut off the

29:15head of the snake of the Ayatollah, it is possible that we end up with

29:20a religious fundamentalist leader in Iran, who is even worse and more dangerous going forward

29:25than what we have right now.

29:27So both are bad, but I actually think Iran with nuclear weapons is more dangerous

29:31than North Korea with nuclear weapons.

29:34I mean, I think it's a little bit of an apples to orange comparison, but

29:39I don't know how much worse North Korea could be than it is.

29:44But I'm just saying, if you could wipe out...

29:47Americans who actually buy into the cult of personality there, they don't have external internet,

29:52they don't have books, they don't have TV, the entire country...

29:55I mean, I actually write about this in Manufacturing Delusion, which is a fantastic book

29:59you can go check out.

30:01The entire country is essentially in a mass mind control experiment.

30:05Well, they will kill you if you bring in DVDs from other countries and just

30:09try to watch them in your home.

30:10I mean, that's... They have millions of people who are part of the security apparatus

30:15in North Korea. Who their privileged position, their family's privileged position, the fact that they

30:22have food to eat and a roof over their heads is entirely in their minds

30:26tied to Kim Jong -un and his benevolence.

30:31So it's not as simple as like, if he were gone, everything...

30:35I mean, the country is...

30:38It is a bizarre place in so many ways.

30:42It's not like it would be a flowering of Jeffersonian democracy if you had no

30:48Kim Jong -un. Well, the scary thing...

30:50You probably would have another general takeover on behalf of the Kim family.

30:53It's technically a necrocracy, meaning that Kim Il -sung is still theoretically the head of

31:01the Communist Party of North Korea, and he's been dead for a long time.

31:05Well, and they have a dynasty that is predicated on his supremacy that theoretically is

31:13now going to run. I think Kim Jong -un has already announced that his daughter

31:16is going to be the one that takes over after he's dead, right?

31:19I mean, he is considered the eternal president, Kim Il -sung.

31:23That's what they call him, the eternal president.

31:25So, to your point about religion and everything else, Clay, the religion of North Korea

31:31is the Kim dynasty, right?

31:33That's... It is a religion, effectively.

31:35I mean, they have a dead guy who's still technically the leader of the country

31:39forever because of the way that they've set up all of the state propaganda.

31:43And, look, North Korea really...

31:44Let's go axis of evil here.

31:46What was the axis of evil?

31:48Iraq, Iran, North Korea. North Korea we can't get rid of because of all of

31:53the nukes, and that's not just the nukes.

31:54They've got enough conventional artillery that they could kill hundreds of thousands of people probably

32:00in Seoul, in the capital of South Korea, in the first 48 hours or so

32:04of an engagement, right? I mean, it's an absolute disaster waiting to happen.

32:08So, Iran, we don't want to get to that place.

32:11But, you know, the other side of it is people would say that Iran would

32:14have a little bit of a problem with Saudi Arabia, all the Sunni Arab states

32:18around it that are enemies of it, effectively, and then this little country called Israel

32:22that is just really good at kicking their asses that also has nukes.

32:25So, there is some box in reality for Iran, I think, as well.

32:30But would regime change ever happen if they had nukes?

32:33Probably not, because you get into, at what point does a country with nukes have

32:38red lines? I mean, I think there are things we could do to Russia where

32:40Russia would launch. I'm not saying they would launch at all U .S.

32:43cities, but I think Russia would.

32:44For instance, if we took out Putin, there is somebody who might push a button

32:47to, I mean, to send a nuclear weapon here.

32:50Or if we joined the Ukrainians and marched and we had, you know, armor divisions

32:54rolling across Russian territory, would they would they fire tactical nukes to take?

32:59Yeah, I think they would.

33:00Right. My point is that nukes will be used at some point.

33:03It's not just we use them.

33:05We're the only ones who have nukes aren't just there for show.

33:08And with North Korea, if they had nukes and they were under this degree of

33:12pressure, I do think that they would be willing to launch.

33:15That's why we're doing it now.

33:17And so, well, I agree that stopping them from getting to that point is very

33:20important. But North Korea is a little crazier than you think.

33:24I'm going Iran one on biggest threat with nuclear weapons.

33:29North Korea, too. Are you taking North Korea one, Iran two on the power rankings

33:33of crazy? I mean, it's very, it's very hard.

33:39I mean, I can tell you, is North Korea is is the average North Korean

33:45more disconnected from reality and and and more delusional than the average Iranian?

33:52Yeah. By a factor of like 10.

33:54It's not even close because the Iranians are sophisticated, educated people.

33:58Yeah, that's been around for, you know, Persians and Iran have been around for millennia.

34:03North Korea is the kind of mutant evil stepchild of the Chinese Communist Party in

34:11China next door, which is itself an outgrowth of Stalinist Soviet communism.

34:17So, you know, North Korea is really that's a really messed up place, really messed

34:22up place. I think if you had mass starvation in in Iran, the mullahs would

34:27have a big problem on their hands in North Korea.

34:30They've had mass starvation and you say a word about it and they'll just kill

34:33you faster. It really is.

34:36You know, they have opened up.

34:38They've opened up resorts in North Korea.

34:41Have you seen? I saw.

34:43I think we know who's going to be one of the first American commentators to

34:47go. Clay's going to be on the beach in North Korea like this place isn't

34:49so bad. Look at this.

34:51I would go visit North Korea if if Dennis Rodman were with me, I would

34:57go interview Kim Jong -un.

34:59Serious question. Would you actually I would not be willing to go because I think

35:03North Korea cannot be trusted, even if they invite you, give you a visa and

35:07you would you be willing to go?

35:08I wouldn't. I would go.

35:09I would go. If they told me that I was going to be able to

35:12interview Kim Jong -un and all those things, I think I would go.

35:17So I don't know that Laura Travis would go James Franco, don't you?

35:20Clay is just like I go in there.

35:22I go in there to talk SEC football.

35:24But really, I get rid of the dictator of North Korea.

35:28I mean, I know everybody stopped talking about it.

35:30But remember the relationship between Trump and Kim Jong -un used to be a huge

35:35talking point. Right. I mean, obviously, Trump went to the demilitarized zone in term one

35:41and visited and said, I think one reason that North Korea has these beaches and

35:46resorts that they have built is partly because President Trump is Trump would do just

35:52says, hey, you know what?

35:54We should actually have we should actually have a resorts and things like that in

35:59North Korea. I think Kim Jong -un is actually a lot likes Trump and is

36:03impacted in some way by that.

36:04But there was no the the first efforts to get some resolution from the Trump

36:10administration on diplomacy with North Korea was a bust.

36:13Unfortunately, didn't didn't actually get anywhere.

36:15I think you're right. He probably views Trump as an interesting character that is is

36:20is ever I mean, everyone who spends time with Trump is like, I like that

36:23guy. But they were not able to get any kind of an agreement out of

36:26it. So back to Iran, though, we're sinking all their boats, we're blowing up all

36:30their planes, we're destroying all the surface to air missiles, we're blowing up their intelligence

36:34headquarters, we're blowing up their their military barracks.

36:37I mean, the plan is, I think, essentially, as Rubio said, or as I was

36:41talking about before, make it so that it's a country without a military and then

36:46we can have a conversation about what comes next.

36:49That's really where we're taking this.

36:50And we have the air power to do it.

36:52And again, I think we're basically at a point now where we are saying to

36:57Iran, let us know when you're willing to negotiate who your next leader is going

37:01to be. And I don't know if you saw the data.

37:03The polling on this is basically as long as we drop bombs and don't have

37:09boots on the ground, and this is not some multi -year war, the overwhelming majority,

37:15I think it was 74 % I saw, support the decision in Iran so long

37:20as it doesn't lead to boots on the ground and it is resolved within a

37:26month or two. And I think that's the design right now of the president.

37:32I think the question is, who is the Delce Rodriguez of Iran?

37:35Who is somebody that we feel like is a leader that will, in many ways,

37:40execute pro -America -ish policies that are not going to create a huge issue going

37:47forward? And does that person exist?

37:49But again, the opposition in Venezuela existed, ran, was organized, won votes.

37:58We got nothing like that in Iran.

38:01We're starting from zero with political opposition in Iran because it hasn't been allowed to

38:07exist. Now, the one thing I would say that overlaps is they put Delce Rodriguez...

38:11because I believe her brother runs the military.

38:14What is the military in Iran going to do?

38:17To what extent is the IRGC actually long -term committed to the Ayatollah's leadership?

38:23Is there someone that could have a role in the Iranian military that's trusted there

38:28that would not be trying to constantly provoke Middle Eastern responses?

38:34All those things, I think, are certainly paramount of decision -making at this point in

44:58Play it. Clay and Buck, you talk about Korea in the 1990s.

45:06How about China? You think they would have let us do what you're suggesting?

45:10I think you're sadly mistaken.

45:13Yeah, China uses North Korea as a, gives them a strategic depth, if you will,

45:21where they can keep the, they, they, without China, North Korea falls apart, by the

45:26way. North Korea could cut off China, and the country would starve, and wouldn't have

45:30any gasoline, or wouldn't have any ability to function.

45:33So North Korea isn't entirely a vassal state of China.

45:39China keeps it going for its own purposes, and it's viewed as a tool against

45:45us. Sometimes, Clay, it's, you know, you better, you better play nice with us here

45:50in Beijing. You don't want things to get wild up in Pyongyang, guys.

45:54I mean, the Chinese, you know, have, play both sides of this, and they also

45:58don't want to collapse in North Korea, because they have the most massive refugee crisis

46:02imaginable of just millions of North Koreans flooding into China.

46:06So they're, they're, they're, they're very involved in that whole situation.

46:09North Korea, I think I'm correct, Buck, doesn't have a airplane that they feel confident

46:16enough in to travel with Kim Jong -un.

46:19So they, he travels to China when he visits by train.

46:22Train, yeah. Well, that's also, I think, a security, probably a security procedure where they

46:26feel like the train is, you know, safer.

46:30They can, they can make sure that he's all, all buttoned up and safe in

46:35there. But yeah, North Korea's got all kinds of weird problems.

46:42I believe North Korea has some nuclear ability and does not use it.

46:47If Iran would obtain a nuclear missile, do you think that they would last more

46:50than a second before shooting it at Israel?

46:54Yes. I, I, look, I think, I, I mean, this is, this is a huge

46:58question, by the way, but the, the answer is yes.

47:00I don't think that, I don't think that the entire leadership of North Korea would

47:03instantaneously decide that they want to vaporize 90 million, I'm sorry, the entire leadership rather

47:08of, uh, Iran would say, yes, I want Israel to vaporize like tens of millions

47:14of Iranians. Maybe it's a huge gamble when we don't want to take, but that

47:19is what would happen if they fired that first nuke.

47:21And by the way, their first nuke might not hit Tel Aviv.

47:24Their first nuke might not even get there.

47:27So think about the risk that they're taking.

47:28I think it's, yes, they want death to Israel, death to America.

47:32But I think from a logical perspective, um, they want the nuke because it protects

47:38their power forever. Yes. Which is why Kim Jong -un has a nuke.

47:41Now my argument is I'm more concerned by North Korea, uh, by Iran because of

47:46the religious fundamentalism of, uh, Islam that would be behind it.

47:51But both are bad. And I think the strong argument is if we could wipe

47:56it out once and for all, if we could go back in time, America and

48:00the world would be much safer if North Korea had never been allowed to get

48:03nuclear weapons. I would present this to you, everyone.

48:05The jihadists, as bad as they are, haven't killed a fraction of the people that

48:11the communists have in the last hundred years.

48:14Not even close. Uh, you're talking about a hundred, a hundred million dead versus maybe,

48:19uh, you know, a few million dead at the hands of the jihadists overall.

48:23So, you know, let's not under, let's not underestimate crazy.

48:26Let's not underestimate crazy. Uh, Chuck in West Palm also wants to say he thinks

48:30Iran is more dangerous. Let's hear you go.

48:33I do. Iran is more dangerous because of the rigid religious fundamentalism.

48:38They want to bring forth the 12th email.

48:40Plus they sit on oceans of oil.

48:42North Korea, as your previous caller says, is controlled by China.

48:47Only point I wanted to make guys.

48:55I just want to tell you, I spent a lot of time in Korea while

48:58I was in the military and I can tell you that the, uh, the North

49:02Korean people worship the Kim family like they are gods.

49:06Yep. A really good illustration.

49:08Then they had some blind North Koreans.

49:11And they finally got some Swiss scientists, Swiss doctors, there to operate on them.

49:17And when they operated on them, they could see the first thing they saw was

49:22Kim Il -sung's picture on the wall.

49:25And they started praising Kim Il -sung and thanking him.

49:28They didn't even say anything to the doctors.

49:31Yeah, he's worshipped as a deity.

49:32He is the religion of the state of North Korea.

49:34And I'll also just point out for everyone who keeps saying, the 12th imam in

49:37Iran, I'm very familiar with this.

49:39I'm familiar with the Hojitaya faction inside of Iran, which used to be more prominent.

49:44But we use nukes. And we're not a death cult.

49:51There is a calculation, a military calculation that goes into the deployment of nuclear weapons.

49:57I think Iran would have made them if they had ever gotten them.

49:59I think North Korea is making them by saying, no one's going to do anything

50:03to us, because if they do, we'll nuke them.

50:06One other thing, too, if Iran gets them, all the other Middle East states are

50:10going to want them as well.
