Hour 2 - They're Crazy, Guys

2/25/202637 mincomplete
0:00This is an iHeart Podcast.
0:02Guaranteed human. Welcome in. Hour number two.
0:06It's the day after a state of the union that was spectacularly well received as
0:14President Trump made the case that his policies have drastically improved life in America for
0:23many, and he ran through all of those arguments.
0:28I just come back to you again, Buck.
0:30He ran on EBC, Economy, Border, Crime.
0:34After one year, the economy is very strong.
0:39Growth rate in the third quarter, 4 .4%.
0:42Inflation down to 2 .4%.
0:45Mortgage rates just hit a four -year low.
0:47For those of you out there in the housing market looking for 15 or 30
0:52years, you are now getting lower rates than at any time since 2022.
0:57Before the Biden inflation took over.
1:00You've got record high stock prices at the S &P 500, the Dow Jones, effectively.
1:06You have, as we talked about, and I think it's such a huge deal, the
1:11safest country from a murder perspective that any of us have ever lived in.
1:15You have basically everything going really, really great.
1:21And by the way, 800 -282 -2882 if you want to weigh in.
1:26But I want to, you mentioned Buck, and I think you're right, and it seems
1:31to be the part that is echoing very strongly today.
1:35The U .S. men and Trump basically calling Democrats crazy for refusing to stand when
1:42he asked them, hey, do you think you should try to improve the lives, I'm
1:47paraphrasing, of citizens more than illegals?
1:50And one of the angles that is being used to attack Trump and by proxy
1:56the U .S. men for visiting with Trump, who had won the gold medal for
2:02the first time in 46 years, I mean, these U .S.
2:06men are being attacked mercilessly by many in left -wing media.
2:11And I thought that we should maybe dive into this.
2:15I think, do we have, Producer Greg, this clip ready now?
2:19Okay, so if you're out there and you're wondering, okay, why are they getting attacked?
2:23Yes, they're getting attacked because they went to the White House, because they're unapologetically pro
2:29-America. All those things are true.
2:31But if you push back on that and you point out what is indisputably true,
2:36which is people have always visited the president.
2:38President, Democrat, Republican, has always congratulated gold medal winners and had them visit the White
2:44House. What they circle back to, Buck, is Trump insulted the U .S.
2:50women's hockey team. And this is a Laura Travis special, Buck.
2:54This is a Laura Travis special, because she's fired up about this, because she said,
2:58I'm seeing this all over my social media feeds.
3:01I don't know if you saw this story.
3:03A Canadian hockey player shared a photo of him with his daughter at Disney World.
3:11He is a Canadian NHL hockey player.
3:13He was not on Team Canada.
3:15He was not on Team USA.
3:17And he was attacked mercilessly on social media because people said, how dare you laugh
3:24at a joke about women's hockey players and then have a photo posted of you
3:31with your two -year -old daughter at Disney World talking about how you're a girl
3:36dad? This is real. I don't know if you saw this story.
3:37I mean, they're insane, but how do they know he laughed at the joke?
3:40He wasn't even there. That's my point.
3:43They're just attacking every hockey player right now because they're saying, oh, he's a misogynist.
3:51He laughed at a joke.
3:53And so I wanted to play the joke because it's much less significant.
3:56But this reminds me of the very fine people hoax when they spent years telling
4:02you that Trump loves Nazis.
4:04He said they were very fine people and he didn't.
4:07But they so embedded the idea that what he had done was say that Nazis
4:13were very fine people and white supremacists.
4:16And in fact, he had done the opposite.
4:17He had actually condemned them.
4:19So usually when you go and deconstruct a joke, this is what losers do because
4:25you either laugh or you don't laugh at a joke and you don't go back
4:30and then say, oh, I'm so sorry.
4:32I didn't think about the larger context of the joke and how it was going
4:36to impact the indigenous people whose land we stole.
4:39And I feel, oh, so please forgive me.
4:41This is what they're saying.
4:42They're saying they want the U .S.
4:44men to apologize for laughing at a joke.
4:46So here is the joke.
4:47I want you to listen to it.
4:48And then I'm going to do an actual deconstruction of the joke and show you
4:53how dishonest the coverage of this has been.
4:55So, producer Greg, this was in the locker room.
4:58Cash Patel is holding up his phone.
5:00President Trump is congratulating the team.
5:02Listen. We'll get the cash and we'll get the military to get you guys over.
5:06Thank you, Mr. President. What would really be cool, and we'll do the White House
5:10the next day, we'll just have some fun.
5:12We have medals for you guys.
5:13And we have to, I must tell you, we're going to have to bring the
5:16woman's team. You do know that.
5:20I do believe I probably would.
5:24Okay, so he's making a joke, but I want to deconstruct this.
5:30And by the way, if you couldn't hear it, that men in the background are
5:33actually cheering and saying two for two, meaning they both won gold medals.
5:38But when he says that, he says, otherwise I'll be impeached.
5:43The joke is at the expense of Democrats and anti -Trump deranged people who would
5:50attack him if he had just invited the men and not the women, they would
5:56say, oh, you're super sexist, oh, you're misogynistic.
5:59So the joke is actually at the expense of his critics.
6:03Second part of this, Buck, the women who are outraged by this, and it's everywhere
6:08on social media, the crazy cat lady battalion is fired up because they're so outraged
6:15that people laughed at that joke, which was actually at their expense, and they're not
6:19smart enough to see it or they didn't actually listen to the joke themselves.
6:22Here's the second part of this, Buck.
6:25If Trump had delivered the most perfect invitation to the White House that has ever
6:31occurred to the U .S.
6:33women's gold medal hockey winning team, the same women who claim that they are offended
6:38by that joke that we just played would actually immediately demand that the U .S.
6:45women's gold medal hockey team not go to the White House because to go would
6:51be offensive to their politics and therefore the women can't go.
6:55So what you have here is an entirely manufactured story, which has caught fire on
7:01the left, that is not rooted in the joke itself, and you also have primarily
7:06women complaining about the way an invitation was conveyed when they would never want the
7:13invitation to be accepted in the first place.
7:16And, Buck, I want to play this.
7:17This is MSNBC. If you're out there, maybe you're like me, maybe you voted Democrat
7:22in the past, and there's a ton of you out there listening.
7:25Maybe you weren't like Buck, and at nine years old, you weren't reading William F.
7:28Buckley and convinced. A little bow tie.
7:31Yes. Drinking Earl Grey tea, thinking about the future.
7:36Maybe you weren't like Buck.
7:38Maybe you're a little bit more like me.
7:39And if you're looking around at this society, you think to yourself, I haven't really
7:44changed that much, and the world, as President Trump said, has just gone crazy around
7:49you. This is 2012. This is 2012 on MSNBC.
7:57A hockey player chose not to visit Barack Obama's White House.
8:03And this was how they covered it on MSNBC.
8:07This was left -wing orthodoxy just a few short years ago.
8:12Listen. Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas, RSVP.
8:15Thanks, but no thanks to a White House invitation.
8:18What do we make of that?
8:19Tim Thomas said, I exercise my right as a free citizen and did not visit
8:24the White House. This was not about politics or party, as in my opinion, both
8:28parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country.
8:31I mean, I think this is kind of the hyper -partisanship that just irritates everybody.
8:35It's like, just go to the White House.
8:38You don't have to run an ad or cut a commercial or anything.
8:41Just go to the White House.
8:42Take part. Celebrate. Just like everybody else celebrates with Republicans or Democratic presidents.
8:46Especially when you're getting honored.
8:48Obama made specific mention of him during his six -minute address.
8:53Buck, not going to the White House was actually the insult.
8:59Now, this is my position writ large.
9:01So if you want to clip this in 20 years and I've got a different
9:03opinion, you can play it.
9:05For 20 years, I've been saying, if you're on a sports team and you get
9:09invited to the White House, I think you should go.
9:11I don't see it as an endorsement of the president.
9:14I see it as a celebration of you and your teammates' accomplishments.
9:18Everybody in America, basically, had that opinion, Democrats, Republicans, independents, until a few short years
9:26ago. And this is why this is important.
9:28The U .S. men haven't said a single thing about politics.
9:32They haven't told us what they think about any issue under the political sun.
9:36And during this entire attack that has been going on on them, it's entirely based
9:42on the fact that they are patriotic, that they respect the office of the presidency,
9:46and that they are willing to celebrate the accomplishments of the country, which they think
9:53is the best in the history of the world.
9:56It's important to understand that their very patriotism is being used against them by the
10:02left, because the left, I really do believe this is important to slam home, hates
10:08the country and the country's history.
10:10And they are using these U .S.
10:12men who are super popular as a way to attack all of this.
10:16And I think it's important to put it into context just how illegitimate and unfair
10:20all of this has been.
10:22I also think that it highlights, Clay, when you have Spamburger.
10:28I know it's Spamburger, but I think Spamburger is more apropos.
10:32When you have her, isn't it interesting also you have Slotkin and Spamburger, both former
10:38government analysts like yours truly.
10:40So what I tell you guys, there are a lot of commies in the government.
10:45That's for sure. Doing the civil servant thing.
10:49But when she's the one giving the...
10:52response which i watched some of it i honestly at some point turned it off
10:56but when you're watching this thing democrats to attain power have to pretend that the
11:03soul and the uh and the plan of their party is something other than that
11:09which it is the problem republicans run into is when they're in power they can't
11:14get everything done that they want to get done and sometimes that's because of some
11:18republican standing in the way but it's not oh we're doing something totally different than
11:23what we sold you on joe biden ran as a calm unifier and then said
11:29get the shot with your vaccine passport or you can't go to work and you
11:34can't go to school and you can't do anything okay these people run on a
11:40mountain of lies to get power and then they just ran through as much crazy
11:46left -wing nonsense as they can as fast as they can and hope that through
11:50propaganda and through manufactured delusions they might be able to fool people or rather it
11:58will fool people but also make people forget what they've done in the past the
12:02the democrats last night clay what rashida khalib had a uh you know a prof
12:07profanity you know like sounds a bit like my name and then ice uh on
12:15her button and you're like what what you're a member of congress at a state
12:19of the union address you're you're not part of the marxist student alliance at uh
12:25at cuny at city university of new york or stuff like what are you doing
12:29but this is who they are they're malcontents and the ones at the top the
12:33ones that are like the more sort of elevated than the street communist types like
12:37nancy pelosi they're so corrupt and so uh venal and so self -dealing and just
12:46soulless this is who they are amen and i do think that for people who
12:56watched last night with persuadable minds and i understand a lot of people it doesn't
13:01matter what happens i said trump could have come out and said he secured cancer
13:04and brought everybody's grandma and grandpa back to life and there'd be people who are
13:07angry at him but for the people who are persuadable the data reflects that there
13:12is still a substantial majority of americans that believes in the country's history and greatness
13:19and that this is the best country in the history of the world and that
13:24is the reality under which the democrats are opposed and i i think that's significant
13:31um and by the way 800 -282 -2882 we'll take your calls get your talk

15:08get you some calls and some emails and some good stuff like that here we
15:13have um vip email from kim gen x cat lady here i thought the president's
15:21joke was funny people need to lighten up and not get their panties in a
15:26bunch i would agree with that i think that is i think that is astute
15:31analysis about twisted lingerie for people that need to just relax breathe a little bit
15:36more i i agree with all of that i i don't think i've ever been
15:40offended by a joke in my life and i don't think it's a badge of
15:43honor to be offended by a joke certainly i've never apologized for laughing at a
15:47joke which is what people on the left are demanding by the way that joke
15:51would have been the most you could george w bush could have made that joke
15:54i mean like this is but it is not even a real joke joke like
15:58it's not even a trump joke that was a that was a two out of
16:00ten on the trumpometer but the intent with the trump comment is to mock his
16:07critics they're but they don't they claim irony they don't they don't get irony they
16:12don't care it doesn't matter they have no self -awareness just even even if you're
16:15going to claim to be offended by the joke if you are a nerd and
16:19you go into What's the etymology of the joke?
16:21What is the intent? Where did it come from?
16:24It's mocking the fact that Trump gets impeached for everything, and so even for relatively
16:29minor things, he has to make this choice.
16:33Bill in Daytona Beach, Florida, up north of me.
16:36What's going on, Bill? I wanted to start with my adventure to get Buck's book.
16:43I'm in Daytona Beach, and I went into Books -A -Million, and as I parked
16:47my car, there was a giant sign on the window for a Meacham's book.
16:52I walk in, and I have to walk around a pyramid of Meacham books, and
16:58it looks like nobody's taken any.
16:59That's good news, but there was a pyramid there, and I go up to the
17:03counter and ask for Buck's book, and they go, Oh, we only ordered two, and
17:08they're sold out, and I go, They ordered two?
17:12What do you mean? Oh, yeah, this is common.
17:14They ordered two, and so I go, what?
17:17Well, there'll be another order soon.
17:20She couldn't tell me when, so I said, okay, I'm out of here, and oh,
17:23by the way, you only ordered two of Buck's books, and you have that pile
17:27of crap there? What's the matter with you?
17:30The guy looked at me, and he started laughing, and so I left, and I
17:33went to Barnes & Noble.
17:34I walk in there, and I asked for the book, and they said, oh, we're
17:39all sold out. I said, well, how many did you order?
17:42And they said, we ordered three.
17:46It's true. Well, this is, thank you for the call.
17:48We should dive in. I'm waiting for their next order.
17:51Thank you for the call.
17:52Please go on Amazon or go get the book.
17:54Don't let this deter you.
17:56And we're also going to do a Crockett sale of these books coming up, too,
17:59at Crockett Coffee, because we're going to get a whole bunch that we keep for,
18:02you know, sending out to people.
18:04But, yeah, Clay, it's a scam, man.
18:06But thanks, guys. Keep buying the book, because we've crushed the Meacham book.
18:09All right. You saw reports of how many homes are without power earlier this week
18:13for massive storms in the northeast, more than 100 ,000.
18:16In a moment's notice, you're suddenly cut off, unless you have a set of rapid
18:19radios. These are rugged, long -range emergency radios built for blackouts and natural disasters that
18:25we've been talking about for more than a year now.
18:27Rapid radios provide clear communication, long battery life, and durability that stands up to real
18:32-world emergencies. Staying connected shouldn't depend on luck.
18:35It should depend on the tools you trust.
18:37Go to rapidradios .com right now.
18:39Check out the new RAD -1, see the full emergency features, and grab the launch
18:44offer while it's still live.
18:46When the world goes quiet, make sure you don't.
18:48Communication redefined. Rapidradios .com. Go check out the new RAD -1 at rapidradios .com.
18:56The right place. Welcome back in to Clay and Box, and we've got a bunch
19:00of calls, a bunch of things to get to and discuss, talk about.
19:04If you want to talk for a second to Clay about the book situation here.
19:07Oh, yeah. I tease that.
19:08I think this is important, and I appreciate him calling.
19:11You might think, oh, what is the impact of distribution in bookstores?
19:18It's huge. They don't put, by and large, conservative books in the front of bookstores.
19:26They intentionally underbuy them. So, I mean, what did the guys say?
19:30There were two copies of your book, and there were three copies of your book
19:33in huge bookstores with a brand new release.
19:37That's been the case with every one of my books, too, which is why Amazon
19:42is actually where most of them get sold.
19:45They said that 90 % of conservative books are sold, is the number that I've
19:50heard on Amazon, because you can go right to, and it gets shipped to your
19:54home. And that's great, but it means that only people who know you exist get
19:59exposed to your ideas, right?
20:02They don't put John Beecham in the front, and you walk in, and you're just
20:05shopping, and you think to yourself, oh, who is this guy?
20:09What's the arguments that he or she is making?
20:12We don't get any of those opportunities in the cultural landscape.
20:15They bury the book in new releases.
20:18They've got two copies or three copies.
20:20They sell them out immediately.
20:21And then this guy's going in because he's a book buyer, and he expects for
20:26the book to be widely distributed, and it's just not.
20:29It's not an even playing field in that respect.
20:32If any of you see a copy of Manufacturing Delusion, if you happen to be
20:36going through an airport this week and you see it on display, please take a
20:39photo and tag me and let me know in any of those, because that's another
20:42big thing, is the airport book buy situation.
20:48But I'm wondering if any of those stores that carry those books, whatever they're called,
20:53the stores, if they have Manufacturing Delusion, if they're trying to sell it.
20:57Because, yeah, to your point, Clay, you don't get the benefit of – I mean,
21:00can you imagine if I walked into a Barnes & Noble and there was a
21:03big display of my book?
21:05Maybe a dashing photo of me with windswept hair and Manufacturing Delusion in both hands,
21:11you know, just, like, letting it go.
21:13No, that's not what happens.
21:14They – and to be clear, it's not about money.
21:17They'd be making more money.
21:18They don't want to make more money.
21:20They don't like us. That's what it comes down to.
21:24Don't like us. Don't want to help.
21:26And, unfortunately, there are some of these industries still where the grip, the political grip
21:34on the throat of the business is very strong, advertising still overall, and ad buyers,
21:41libs, lib -dominated, totally lib -dominated, and publishing.
21:47Now, there are conservative imprints at big publishing houses.
21:50Obviously, one of them printed me.
21:51I'm not saying that it's entirely, but in terms of the distribution side of it,
21:57like who's buying the books for the stores to put out, totally lib -dominated.
22:02And it's just, you know, I just wish we could do something about this.
22:07I can't say have Elon buy Barnes & Noble, but maybe he could probably get
22:12it for a song. It just matters a tremendous amount in the marketplace of ideas.
22:16You can mention bookstores, and that's the perfect example because people theoretically going into bookstores
22:21are going there to buy books.
22:23And one of the fun things about going to a bookstore is the serendipity of
22:27finding a book that you did not anticipate or know existed, and you think, oh,
22:32this would be a great read.
22:33Book browsing is still a big deal.
22:35Here's the other one that I think is even more significant, Buck.
22:38Airports. Well, that's what I was just saying.
22:40I want to see books in the airports.
22:42When's the last time you saw a conservative book walking through the terminals at a
22:47display where you would see it when you're in an airport?
22:50How many people buy books in airports?
22:52Huge percentages. They don't exist.
22:54They do not exist in that way.
22:57So the caller's right. I mean, this is a significant issue.
23:02And we've got a bunch of callers, by the way.
23:05Yes, we have a bunch of callers, as we will get to now.
23:08Andrew in Kentucky, you're up.
23:10What's going on? Buck, love your show.
23:14Just wanted to call and mention my favorite moment from the State of the Union
23:18last night. It was when Trump was talking about the SAVE Act, and he was
23:24talking about the hypocrisy of the left, and mentioning the communist mayor of New York,
23:30Mondami, and talking about how he was asking for snow shovelers.
23:34But those snow shovelers needed to bring in two forms of ID and a social
23:39security card. Yeah. I mean, look, we hope everybody in WOR land is doing well
23:46out there, and certainly on Long Island, where they got over two feet of snow.
23:51And if you're listening to us in Rhode Island, I think they got three feet
23:54of snow. And by the way, mentioning Mom, Donnie, did you see the videos that
23:57have gone viral? The snow of the cops, or the snow that are getting, I
24:02think it is absolutely despicable.
24:05I don't think it's funny.
24:07I wish that those cops could have caught a few of those guys with a
24:10nice truncheon to the side of the knee.
24:14I think it's horrible, because I know people are like, oh, it's a snowball fight.
24:18Actually, first of all, if you don't want to be in a snowball fight, and
24:21you're getting hit from multiple sides, it's just assault.
24:23It's actually assault and battery.
24:25And some of these guys are throwing things that are basically ice.
24:28So you're just throwing a handful of ice at a cop from close range, and
24:32there's so many people that they can't do it.
24:34They're not able to do anything about it.
24:36I thought it was grotesquely disrespectful.
24:37I hope people get arrested for it.
24:40They won't get prosecuted in any meaningful way, because it's brag.
24:43But it just goes to show you how disrespectful some of the, unfortunately, some of
24:49the residents of New York City, and just, you know, these are all leftists.
24:51The people that are saying it's not a big deal, they're all leftists.
24:54They hate cops, because cops force the reality of accountability on people.
24:58And the whole game of the left is no one's ever accountable.
25:01You're always a victim. It's always someone else's fault.
25:03Also, I just can't even imagine, if you are the kind of person who's going
25:08to run up, and some of these were, they've got some photos out of people
25:11they're trying to arrest. Some people were running up with basically boulders of ice to
25:16throw at cops. And smacking on the cops.
25:18Yeah. It was really, really nasty.
25:20I mean, they clearly were taking advantage of the situation.
25:24And look, these people deserve a good swift punch in the face.
25:27You know, I don't know what else to say.
25:29I mean, they deserve to get an ass kicking.
25:30And also, to your point, what do you think the odds are that people who
25:35have been completely law -abiding their entire life decide to attack police officers with snowballs?
25:41I would bet those people have records that are a mile long, likely, because it's
25:45such a moronic thing to even think to do for most people.
25:48Look, and the cops have a tough job day in and day out.
25:53They do all over the country.
25:55And, you know, it's often a thankless job.
25:57Not always. You know, they do sometimes perform the Heimlich on a baby and save
26:02a life. I mean, you know, there's obviously thanks with it, too.
26:05And, you know, I think a lot of communities, I said here in Miami Beach,
26:08were very supportive of our cops.
26:10And, you know, there's a very safe community.
26:13Cops are very well -respected here, which I really like that.
26:16And, you know, the NYPD went through a post -9 -11 period where New Yorkers,
26:20I think, were particularly prone to show gratitude toward the NYPD.
26:25That's, of course, faded, though.
26:27And when you see this kind of disorder where you have these people doing this,
26:31the police officers, like, what is the mindset of somebody who thinks that this is
26:35funny? Like, that's someone's husband out there.
26:38Probably, you know, those cops probably are married, probably have some kids.
26:41And you're all smacking them with ice in the face because they wear a uniform
26:46and they're trying to keep the streets safe and trying to keep bad things from
26:49happening to people. What part of that is funny?
26:52What part of that is amusing?
26:54So, you know, this is Alvin Bragg.
26:56He's a scumbag. He's a bad person.
26:58He's immoral. He's a race hustler.
27:00He clearly has a tremendous amount of animosity for certain people of certain backgrounds.
27:05And he won't do anything about this, guarantee you.
27:08Even if they're arrested, he'll do the bare minimum.
27:10And I think what you're going to see is Jessica Tish.
27:14And, you know, I grew up...
27:15the Tisch family a little bit in New York, and they're good people and they
27:18love the city, I think you're going to see Jesse Tisch say, I'm out, because
27:22there's not the back. If you don't have the district attorney and the mayor catching
27:29your back as the police commissioner and doing the right thing for law and order,
27:32your hands are tied. It doesn't matter.
27:35This is one thing that Eric Adams got right.
27:39The safety in New York City got far better during his tenure than it was
27:43before. I think the fact that he is a former cop, it's not coincidental that
27:48that was the outcome. He got it.
27:50I'm not saying he was perfect.
27:51Clearly, he wasn't an ideal leader, but you see the story.
27:56He had serious managerial limitations.
28:03He's not a guy you want running a $100 billion city budget operation and all
28:09the different. He wasn't up for that task.
28:12He doesn't have the ability to experience, but he was in over his head.
28:17But he doesn't hate cops, and he doesn't actually think that criminals are good people.
28:22And that was an improvement over de Blasio, to be fair to what you're saying.
28:25That was an improvement over de Blasio.
28:29Mamdani is much more of the de Blasio mold, and we're going to see, I
28:33think, more and more of this, and just wait until you have your first major
28:37incident with a cop in New York.
28:38It will happen. It's inevitable at some point, and see which side of the equation
28:43Mamdani falls on. But, you know, the statement, guys, pull the statement that Mamdani made
28:48about it. It was very, oh, here it is.
28:53Did we have it? Okay, play cut 37.
28:54Here's Mamdani speaking about these cops who were, they were being assaulted.
28:59I know people, oh, it's just snowballs.
29:03Okay, you can watch the video yourself and tell me if you think that the
29:06cops were enjoying this. Play it.
29:07I've said that what I saw was a snowball fight.
29:09It should be treated accordingly.
29:10It was one that got out of hand, but that's what it was.
29:12I'm not going to be banning snowball fights or organized snowball fights.
29:18I've shared my thoughts with New Yorkers.
29:22I mean, what if people just walked by cops and just smacked eggs in their
29:26faces? Is that funny? Is that a joke?
29:28It's against the law. Mamdani is also, unfortunately, and by the way, Trump is too
29:33nice about him. He was too, and I know this is something, Trump is, he's
29:37funny because they all say, Clay, that Trump is, Trump's actually very nice.
29:40As long as you don't try to, you know, go toe -to -toe with him,
29:43he's very charming. Mamdani's a bad guy.
29:46He's a bad guy. He's actually not a nice guy.
29:50He's a bad guy. He just smiles a lot and is, you know, smooth with
29:56people. The, yes, I agree with all of that, and he's falling rapidly on his
30:03face with a lot of the different decisions that he's made.
30:08And one of them, you were talking about Jessica Tisch, is that New York City
30:14is basically deciding due to a budget crisis to not fund 5 ,000 police officers
30:21that they had previously anticipated and expected to fund.
30:27That's going to eventually blow up on them.
30:29There's no other way this is going to go.
30:32And believing that you can be kind to criminals is a luxury of a low
30:37-crime environment, and inevitably it leads to more violence.
30:41And I would just come back.
30:42I mean, I guarantee you if they arrest the people who were throwing snowballs at
30:49cops aggressively, they will discover that those guys have been arrested multiple times before.
30:54Because I just don't buy it.
30:55We're not talking about like a fun, if the cops are actually engaged in the
30:59snowball fight too, that's a snowball fight.
31:02Running up to somebody and pelting them constantly with snowballs because they're wearing uniforms is
31:08not a snowball fight. To your point, if it were eggs, it would be an
31:11assault. These guys should be charged.
31:14And I think when they're charged, you will find out that they've been charged with
31:17multiple offenses before. Right. I mean, I could walk up to someone and say I'm
31:22patting them on the back and whack them as hard as I can and do
31:28real damage and be like, oh, I was just patting you on the back.
31:31I mean, right. We all know these games.
31:33We all know that. And this is, of course, a classic leftist thing.
31:36But what Mamdani said there is disgusting.
31:38What I saw was a snowball fight.
31:40You sniveling little coward. Someone, I don't want to go.
31:44He's just the worst, man.
31:45He's just the worst. And it's a disgrace, a disgrace that New York has this
31:50guy calling the shots. No doubt.
31:53If you visit Israel and its people, you will be impressed on the visit.
31:58I was there about a year ago to see the work being done by the
32:01International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
32:04It also provided me an opportunity to see the firsthand evidence of the attacks of
32:08October 7th, that what Hamas did to innocent Israelis because they were Jewish.
32:14I'm going to go to Israel again.
32:16I was talking about this with my family recently.
32:18I want to take them.
32:19I want them to be able to see the old city of Jerusalem.
32:21By the way, I'd like to go to Egypt.
32:23I like to travel all over ancient civilizations, areas that I haven't been to before.
32:29As a nation, the United States cares a great deal about Israel.
32:33Even if you don't get the chance to visit, there are steadfast allies in the
32:37Middle East and the only country where true freedom in the Middle East exists regardless.
32:43of what religion you are at a time when jewish communities are experiencing more hostility
32:49more threats more violence than ever christians have a powerful opportunity to say you're not
32:55alone you can join us and support the ifcj by going to ifcj .org you'll
33:03be amazed at all the work they do for people all over israel i have
33:08seen it they make a tremendous difference ifcj .org that's ifcj .org news and politics
33:19but also a little comic relief clay travis and buck sexton find them on the

33:35to the state of the union we'll dive back into our takes on the state
33:40of the union which occurred last night at the top of the third hour of
33:44the program but i'm going to go basically just in order that i see the
33:48calls off the top here barry in huntington west virginia what you got for us
33:54barry yes thanks for taking my call really appreciate it um i felt the president
34:00did an amazing job last night he touched on so many topics he recognized people
34:04that should be recognized he's a true american hero um for me personally it's so
34:12disappointing to watch the other side they have no solutions they appear to be full
34:18of hate and what would i tell my granddaughter or grandson that you have a
34:28congressperson with a badge that says you all know what it said yeah i just
34:34i don't understand how come they just seem to be full of hate and offer
34:39no solutions and all trump wants to do is make america great it's really a
34:43simple message and i i i'm not saying he's a perfect person by any stretch
34:48but i'm saying he's a perfect president he's doing a lot of things that make
34:52life better and i'll add one other thing because they all want to talk about
34:56affordability trump getting ready to come into office my wife and i buy these eggs
35:02at walmart they're around twenty nine dollars for first for five dozen i bought the
35:07same case last week nine dollars and some change um yeah appropriate actions that's all
35:16i can say thank you for the call remember buck when trump first came into
35:19office egg prices became a big story and everybody was talking about how much president
35:24clay for like three days and you're like oh look at the egg prices trump
35:28you've been 72 hours president and now egg prices are back to normal much cheaper
35:34and it's not a story at all that's a good example better enemies do we
35:38need better enemies are we going to get lazy like they got lazy because they
35:41had so much control and they'd seize so much through their perfidious ways uh what
35:46a great word that is my concern is they're going to take back the house
35:49if you ask me to predict right now and so no i know uh and
35:54so they're going to seize back a lot of power we'll get to some of
35:56your calls and we come back here in a sec but first carly in colorado

36:24him speak to this thank you for the call elon omar and rashida talib buck

36:34course of the state of the union last night we'll talk about that we'll talk
36:38about the elon omar investigation i think there are a lot of republicans who worry
36:42that there are a lot of prosecutors in the state of minnesota including federal who
36:48won't prosecute any of these democrats this is an iheart podcast guaranteed human and i
36:53think there are a lot of people who don't know what's going on in the
36:54state of minnesota and i think there are a lot of people who don't know
36:54what's going on in the state of minnesota
