2:41It's probably why we have these laws in place that apparently just are completely ignored

2:46now, but okay. Yeah. Benji, where are we starting off today, big bro?

2:50John Prevost, a retired Catholic school principal who loves to play Wordle with his brother,

2:54Pope Leo XIV, received death threats likely coming from MAGA individuals after Donald Trump and

3:01the entire MAGA leadership structure is now spending every day attacking Pope Leo XIV, amplifying

3:07posts of Donald Trump as AI Jesus.

3:10Donald Trump doubled down on it by posting more AI memes of Jesus hugging him

3:15while Donald Trump continues to attack Pope Leo XIV to the Italian press and here

3:20at home. This is the way stochastic terrorism works.

3:23Donald Trump's MAGA minions and sycophants got the message and they threatened.

3:27John Prevost over here. He's, again, a teacher over in Chicago.

3:32And Pope Leo XIV today was speaking in Cameroon.

3:36He gave a powerful speech.

3:37He ain't backing down, despite Trump and MAGA making it their cause right now to

3:43attack the Catholic Church over and over again.

3:45Let's take a look at what Pope Leo XIV said in Cameroon about blessed are

3:50the peacemakers and very clear who this message was directed at.

3:54Let's play the clip. Jesus told us, blessed are the peacemakers, but woe to those

4:00who manipulate religion in the very name of God for their own military, economic, or

4:07political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth.

4:14Yes, my dear sisters and brothers, you who hunger and thirst for justice, who are

4:22poor, merciful, meek, and pure of heart.

4:28You who have wept, you are the light of the world.

4:33I just want to be very clear as well, whether you are a religious person

4:38or not religious or don't follow any religion at all.

4:42We have people here at the Midas Touch Network who are all different types of

4:46religions, people who are atheists, people who have no religion.

4:49But the key thing, being a good person, being empathetic, being loving, helping people, uplifting,

4:56not bullying, right? These are core messages.

4:59And it is a powerful thing when someone like Pope Leo XIV uses his position

5:03to go out and speak to these issues.

5:06So that's why one of the reasons we're showing it.

5:08And it is driving Donald Trump crazy.

5:10And in the past, whether it was Hitler, whether it was the Kings in the

5:15UK and in France, if you go back to the Avignon Papacy, which is what

5:20our papacy, which is what Donald Trump has threatened to bring back through the Department

5:26of Defense when back in January, he brought in Pope Leo, the 14th top ambassador

5:30to DC. They threatened the Avignon Papacy.

5:33We're going to bring that back right there, which is a death threat because the

5:36French killed the Pope back then after kidnapping him.

5:39This is kind of something you see with authoritarians throughout history.

5:44You know, this kind of attack on the Pope or other leaders who intimidate them.

5:47So that's why one of the reasons we're bringing this up right now.

5:49And the Pope is really in Donald Trump's head and MAGA just continues to attack.

5:53And Pope Leo XIV in Cameroon also said the world is being ravaged by a

5:57handful of tyrants. And it seems pretty clear who he's talking about here.

6:01Trump, Putin, Netanyahu, and others.

6:03Here play this clip. The world is being ravaged by a handful of tyrants.

6:08It is held together by a multitude of supportive brothers and sisters.

6:13They are the descendants of Abraham, as numerous as the stars in the sky and

6:19the grains of sand on the seashore.

6:22Let us look into each other's eyes.

6:26We are this immense people.

6:29Peace is not something we must invent.

6:32It is something we must embrace by accepting our neighbor as our brother and as

6:39our sister. Finally, Pope Leo XIV talks about how the masters of war pretend not

6:45to know that it takes only a moment to destroy.

6:49Play the clip. The masters of war pretend not to know that it takes only

6:54a moment to destroy. Yet often, a lifetime is often not enough to rebuild.

7:02They turn a blind eye to the fact that billions of dollars Others are spent

7:06on killing and devastation, yet the resources needed for healing, education and restoration are nowhere

7:15to be found. So the types of people he'd call it out there, Donald Trump,

7:19J .D. Vance, who converted to Catholicism.

7:22You have Pete Hegseth. Again, Pete Hegseth this morning held a press conference where the

7:26entire press conference seemed to be devoted to invoking the name of God and religion

7:31to justify war crimes and genocide.

7:34And to say, and I went into the church and I heard a great sermon,

7:38and that's what tells me that we need to go to war.

7:40Let's play the first clip of Hegseth right here from this morning.

7:43Let's play it. This past Sunday, I was sitting in church with my family, and

7:48our minister preached from the book of Mark, the third chapter.

7:52And in the passage, Jesus entered a synagogue and healed a man with a withered

7:57hand. The Pharisees came to watch.

8:01And as the scripture reads, they came to see whether he, Jesus, would heal him

8:06or he would heal him on the Sabbath so that they might accuse him.

8:13You see, the Pharisees, the so -called and self -appointed elites of their time, they

8:19were there to witness, to write everything down, to report.

8:25But their hearts were hardened.

8:27Even though they witnessed a literal miracle, it didn't matter.

8:32They were only there to explain away the goodness in pursuit of their agenda.

8:38So Pete Hegseth comparing the press to the Pharisees, Donald Trump is Jesus, and he's

8:44saying that Donald Trump worked miracles in Iran by blowing up elementary schools and killing

8:50little girls. And the fact that the press would dare report on war crimes and

8:54genocide about what's happening in place is the same thing that Jesus confronted when Jesus,

9:01in the telling of the scripture, as he says, was working miracles.

9:05That's what the Trump regime was doing this morning.

9:08It's such a perversion of religion.

9:10And it's really just disgusting to even see this being invoked at all from the

9:14Pentagon and being used to justify this war that has killed so many innocent people.

9:19And so I completely understand why the pope is speaking out against this sort of

9:24rhetoric. But I do find it interesting that the pope doesn't often even mention Donald

9:29Trump by name, really, unless he's asked directly about it, like he was by the

9:33press the other day. But the pope says things against tyrants and against warmongers.

9:38And then the Trump administration and people like Pete Hegseth get all offended.

9:42But I think what this really shows, first off, I don't understand, you know, like,

9:46at least often I, like, can understand the strategy behind Donald Trump's moves, like why

9:52he's attacking a specific group, why he's trying to pit these groups apart from each

9:56other. But attacking the pope and attacking Catholics, it's just like, do you agree?

10:02Like, this is like the weirdest thing I've ever seen in my life.

10:05I don't understand it. But it also shows, like, it really exposes who the charlatans

10:10are out there. The people who you should just never trust about absolutely anything, even

10:16when they try to be slimy and get out of the kind of answering the

10:20question, like even Mike Johnson, who positions himself as this devout Christian, right?

10:25He's asked about this and he's like, well, I'm not going to comment on any

10:28religious leaders. But, you know, I will say that the pope should not be waiting

10:34in on issues of religion.

10:36Listen, if you're going to use religion, I mean, politics, if you're going to use

10:40religion to justify your politics, you can't be upset when someone.

10:44is using politics or using religion to speak out against your politics.

10:49And so we're seeing just this, these frauds right now expose themselves.

10:53And we knew who they were, don't get us wrong.

10:55But you even saw a guy like Franklin Graham, right?

10:58Trump supporter, evangelical. He writes this like super embarrassing note about Donald Trump and about

11:04this whole Jesus fiasco where Donald Trump posted that AI image of depicting himself as

11:09Jesus and then said, I thought I was a doctor.

11:12I thought it was a doctor healing people.

11:14I thought it was the red cross.

11:16And Franklin Graham, who positions himself as this legitimate evangelical type, he writes this whole

11:22letter to the press where he addresses it to Donald Trump, but it's for the

11:27press. And he says, I've been out of the country and just returned this afternoon.

11:31This is a statement I just released to the media addressing some of the issues

11:34you've been facing this week.

11:35First of all, issues you've been facing, he's not facing issues.

11:40Donald Trump did this to himself.

11:42Then he writes, I do not believe President Trump would knowingly depict himself as Jesus

11:46Christ. That would certainly be inappropriate.

11:48I'm thankful the president has made it very clear that this is not at all

11:52what he thought the AI generated image was representing.

11:55He thought it was a doctor helping someone.

11:57And when he learned of the concerns, he immediately removed the post.

12:01When I looked at the illustration, I did not jump to the same conclusion as

12:05some. And then he says that this was just all the Donald Trump's critics.

12:09They just wanted an excuse to come after him and make some stuff up.

12:13And they use this as that excuse.

12:14Like, dude, you're a charlatan.

12:16You're a fraud. Okay. Stop defending this behavior.

12:19You don't have to defend everything this guy does.

12:22He is attacking religion, which is your whole thing.

12:26I think. I know you're not a Catholic, you're an evangelical, but you should be

12:31offended when Donald Trump is attacking any form of Christianity, Catholicism, any religion, to be

12:38honest. But this is the kind of behavior we've come to expect from Donald Trump's

12:43sycophants. They will support everything he says.

12:46And he surrounds himself with these very fraudulent kind of religious leaders, the people who

12:52are more interested in taking big money from people and building these mega churches than

12:57they are about actually spreading the word of Jesus Christ.

13:01Exactly. And that's why, because it's so fraudulent what we're witnessing right now, because MAGA

13:05loves to pretend, loves to pretend that Trump is like this religious person that Trump,

13:10that Trump does what Biden actually did and attend, you know, church every Sunday and

13:17actually be a religious person and be someone who, who really believed Donald Trump doesn't

13:22care about any of that.

13:23Right. Brett, it's all about the grift.

13:25It's all about how can I raise money off of these people?

13:27And he surrounded himself by like -minded people who are just trying to grift.

13:32It seems like off of the religion and line their own pockets.

13:35Like Donald Trump, man, it's either one of two options with the AI image.

13:40Donald Trump didn't know that he was Jesus and then like doing that, or he's

13:45not a religious person. It was like, it's, it's one of those two.

13:49And so for me, it just gets frustrating because people seem to think like Trump

13:53is, is like this all being, but like, you just have to calm out on

13:57the BS and he's attacking the Pope.

13:59Like, can we just start and stop there?

14:00I'm going to narrow down Geordi's list.

14:02It's not one of those two.

14:03It's the latter. Okay. He didn't think he was a doctor.

14:05He didn't think he was a red cross guy.

14:07He knew exactly what he was doing.

14:09And, you know, you even have people like Tucker Carlson, close people to Donald Trump

14:13saying like, this is literally like what they say the antichrist does.

14:16Like he makes himself, you know, try to appear more important than God, more important

14:22than Jesus. Like this is textbook, what the Antichrist does, what Donald Trump is doing

14:26right here. And you have Tucker Carlson calling him out.

14:29You have Marjorie Taylor Greene calling him out.

14:31But you have actual politicians, people who say that they are Catholics, these other religious

14:36leaders who are really all bound to Donald Trump, in my opinion, due to the

14:40exact reason that Geordi said, because they're all in on this grift.

14:45And it's this grift above all.

14:47Here's the thing. Religion has.

14:48And one second there, Ben.

14:49And I just wanted to add this, too, because when you actually listen to the

14:52Pope's words and what he's saying and he's talking, you know, about just values of

14:56love and compassion and hope and Trump thinks like he's taking digs at him and

15:02then he goes on to attack the Pope, you know, he's telling on himself there.

15:06Donald Trump is it's it's absolutely it's beyond ridiculous.

15:11And just one quick side note, Pope Leo, man, every time I see a clip

15:15of him and just remember that he's from Chicago, American Pope, I'm just like, let's

15:18go. Oh, that is that's wild.

15:20Look, religion has a major potency intertwined with it.

15:28People who are religious feel very strongly often about their religion.

15:33And so if you can utilize religion as a tool to divide or use the

15:40symbols of religion in order to manipulate, it's one of the characteristics of Donald Trump

15:47to lure people in and then use things that make people comfortable and make people

15:55invested and then manipulate it.

15:58And that's what charlatans do.

16:00That's what Donald Trump deserves.

16:01The symbolism of the United States, the flag, patriotism, our history, these symbols.

16:08Donald Trump as a fraud is able to take these symbols that are very meaningful

16:14to people here, you know, in this country and manipulate them for his own gain

16:19to divide and to cause major issues.

16:23This is what we see as a pattern over and over again.

16:26I mean, one of the things that Donald Trump does also, we'll talk about this

16:29later in the show, using the very idea of a negotiation as a tool of

16:37chicanery, trickery, fraud, domination. Oftentimes when people engage in a negotiation, most frequently, it's not

16:48an exercise of domination. It is how can we reach an agreement and reach a

16:53deal? Donald Trump's view of a negotiation is to lure people in, usually under fraudulent

17:01pretext. And then when they are vulnerable because they believe they're in a dealmaking posture,

17:07you basically sucker punch them.

17:09Donald Trump never was a dealmaker, in my opinion.

17:12He's always been a destroyer and he's used things like implied covenants of good faith

17:18and fair dealing norms and traditions to harm people when people are following what they

17:26believe are basic codes of morality, decency, or good faith when it comes to agreements,

17:32contracts, and general understandings. I think it's an important point that you also emphasize there,

17:38Geordi, is that this is not a religious discussion.

17:41As I noted before, this isn't about this religion or that religion.

17:45Our audience is made up of people of all different types of religion.

17:48And people who don't follow religion.

17:51And again, why I emphasize so frequently the importance of just being a good person

17:57and to look out for each other and to uplift and to show.

18:01compassion and to show empathy is because that isn't discussed enough in the modern day

18:07or by news companies. And we can't forget that, that we're all in this together.

18:12We share this earth for a short period of time, and it should be our

18:17goal to live in peace and harmony and to avoid wars and to try to

18:23have prosperity for everybody as much as possible, where we can spread the love and

18:29joy and equality, and then pass on a better world for future generations.

18:35Politics is so frequently gamified by news and by people talking about it, we forget

18:42that when we deconstruct it, what we should be focused on is, is this improving

18:46our lives and our collective time here on this earth that we can make it

18:51just a better place and we could live in harmony with each other.

18:54And that may sound corny saying that, but at the heart of what we do

18:58here at the Midas Touch Network is to deconstruct the lies and to try to

19:03get to that right there.

19:04I'll stop preaching, pun intended, and let me show you what some of these MAGA

19:09sycophants were out there saying, because it was also a concerted effort by Donald Trump

19:14bootlickers to go out and attack the Pope, particularly Catholics who were MAGA would go

19:20out and they would say, well, the Pope shouldn't have gone political.

19:24When you step into the political arena, you deserve it.

19:27For example, Elise Stefanik, whose political career is completely over right now.

19:32She ran for governor, dropped out.

19:34She ran, she dropped out of her congressional seat as well after, after this term

19:39is over. Here's what she had to say when she was on CNN just before.

19:42First American Pope. I don't want to see the Pope as politician.

19:46And, you know, the president, we know his leadership style.

19:49He is going to stand strong for the American people.

19:52And the president of the United States is a political figure.

19:54Of course, he's going to be engaged in politics when he's politically attacked.

19:57I don't want to see the Pope get involved in domestic politics.

20:01What I think we can highlight as Catholics for myself is the increased number of

20:06new Catholics entering the church.

20:08And that's a great success for the Catholic Church long -term.

20:11MAGA Mike Johnson wanted to say that he knows more than the Pope does on

20:17something called the Just War Doctrine.

20:21And MAGA Mike says, let me preach to you.

20:24I'm MAGA Mike. I drape myself in religion and everything I do.

20:29So let me explain to you, Pope Leo XIV, the Just War Doctrine.

20:34Here, let's play this clip.

20:35A pontiff or any religious leader can say anything they want.

20:38But obviously, if you wade into political waters, I think you should expect some political

20:42response. And I think the popes received some of that.

20:45You know, I was taken a little bit aback, just honestly, frankly, by something that

20:50was said. I think he said several days back that something about those who engage

20:55in war, you know, that Jesus doesn't hear their prayers or something.

20:58You know, it is a very well -settled matter of Christian theology.

21:02There's something called the Just War Doctrine.

21:04There's a time to every purpose under heaven.

21:06I think what the president's comments, what the vice president's comments reflect is their understanding

21:11deep in the, you know, the SCIF and the classified briefings of the stakes that

21:16are so high in the situation that we're facing and the fact that you had

21:19the nation that was the largest sponsor of terrorism now having had that ability taken

21:26away from them. That means potentially millions of innocent people will be able to keep

21:32their lives and not be killed by terrorists.

21:34That's a good thing. That's what's come out of this.

21:37Okay. So I don't, I don't, I don't want.

21:40I don't want to engage in a theological debate with Pope Leo XIV.

21:44He's literal. Pope Leo was like, screw Trump.

21:47That guy sucks. All the Pope said was that he's not a fan of war,

21:51wants peace, and wants innocent people to live when you break down the Pope's statements.

21:56And this is what has so triggered them into this bizarre tantrum.

22:00And I just want to remind everybody, these are the people, like I said this

22:05earlier, these are the people who use religion to push their political beliefs all the

22:11time. It's like their main move.

22:14I need to ban abortion because the Bible says so.

22:17I need to take away rights from this group and that group because the Bible

22:21commands me to. They do that all the time.

22:24And the second the Pope says something that isn't even particularly political, they freak out.

22:29And they also seem to forget that the Pope is not only a political leader,

22:32but the Pope is also the leader of Vatican City.

22:35And so there actually is a political function of the Pope in addition to his

22:40religious function. And as I said, this really exposes the charlatans.

22:45I actually do have some modicum of respect for those Catholics, those Christians who, after

22:51these comments were made, after Donald Trump posted those images, actually spoke out and said,

22:57no way, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

22:58That's not okay. But these people who make excuses for Donald Trump while wrapping themselves,

23:04whether it's in the flag or with the cross or whatever it is, those people

23:09to me are just reprehensible and show that they're complete frauds.

23:13And you have Pete Hegseth up there when we showed that clip earlier, when he's

23:17giving the Bible verse. He literally has an American flag, little, what are those called,

23:24Brett? Those handkerchiefs or whatever that he tucked into his suit.

23:27What about, whatever happened to the separation between church and state?

23:30How have we come here as a society?

23:32Going back to what Mago Mike just said about the Pope, I just want to

23:35rephrase that. He basically said he's okay with the Pope getting, brush him off the

23:42plate, throw a fastball high and inside to the Pope.

23:44That's what he said. He's like, oh, the Pope's going to step into the political

23:47law. He's going to, he's going to have to take some heat for that.

23:50That, that's what he said.

23:51He's an, like, that's an insane, that's an insane thing, especially from Mike Johnson, who

23:56like puts forward this holier than thou, like mentality.

24:00It's like, oh, no, now you want a separation of church and state.

24:04Now that, now that somebody said, don't kill innocent little girls.

24:08Now that somebody said, maybe don't start wars of aggression now.

24:12Okay. Now you care about this.

24:14By the way, speaking of how religious these people are, I should mention, I know

24:17everybody's seen the clip by now.

24:19And if you haven't looked it up, I can't play it because there's movie footage

24:22in it. But do you all see Pete Hegseth play the clip of, of Pulp

24:26Fiction? He didn't play the clip of Pulp Fiction.

24:28He said that he was reading a Bible verse and it actually was not a

24:32Bible verse at all. It was a line from Pulp Fiction, which was a fake

24:36Bible verse. And Pete Hegseth read this during a religious sermon that they did at

24:41the Pentagon yesterday. To Jordy's point, why are you doing religious sermons at the Pentagon

24:45in the first place? But then he, the sermon he ended up delivering ended up

24:49being a fake Bible verse from the Tarantino movie, Pulp Fiction.

24:53Because I'm pretty sure when they write these speeches, they're not actually even writing these

24:57speeches. This is my theory.

24:59This is my opinion. I think they have ChatGPT write all of their speeches for

25:03them. The same way you have all those lawyers and stuff who get caught citing

25:07fake cases and fake quotes and all this stuff.

25:10You get a fake Bible verse that slips in because the internet commonly uses that

25:15fake Bible verse because it's a popular movie.

25:18That's how I think, in my opinion, that happened.

25:21I told everyone earlier in the week that when I woke up the other day,

25:25my wife and I, the first thing we said to each other was like, did

25:28you see Trump attack the Pope last night?

25:30The first thing I said to Brett this morning when we woke up for a

25:33morning meeting was, do you see Hegseth quote Tarantino?

25:37What is going on, man?

25:39I'll just say this about Pope Leo XIV as well.

25:41He's an Augustinian friar who spent 12 years leading the Augustinian religious order.

25:47They invented the Just War Doctrine.

25:50Literally, the doctrine that Maga Mike cites is an Augustinian doctrine right there.

25:55Maga Mike wanted to spend the time lecturing Pope Leo XIV on what's called the

26:00Just War Doctrine. So you have that as well.

30:37the congressional hearings that are taking place show you what's going on on the house

30:41floor as i'm sure you may know the house and the senate were in recess

30:44for a long period of time they were vacationing while the united states was in

30:48this catastrophic and unlawful war um and now they're back and uh finally uh there

30:55are some hearings taking place where uh some important questions get to be asked even

31:00if it's not necessarily the subject matter of what the hearing is supposed to be

31:05for example donald trump's ambassador to the united nations waltz he was uh testifying before

31:12uh the senate regarding a united nations funding issue but democrats used the opportunity to

31:18ask ambassador waltz who was previously a congress member some important questions about the war

31:23i'm going to show you two clips now of democratic uh senator van holland cross

31:29-examining uh united states ambassador mike waltz to the united nations uh let's play the

31:35first clip if we've got it and this is the clip where uh waltz has

31:39asked about his position as a member of congress when he said that putin is

31:44a war criminal and he was saying hey biden you've got to recognize that putin's

31:50a war criminal or else you've got to go and biden did recognize that putin

31:53is a war criminal so i guess the question right now for ambassador waltz is

31:58do you still believe that putin is a war criminal because donald trump seems to

32:02be very supportive of putin removed sanctions from russia so let's play this clip would

32:07you agree that we should enforce and that there be consequences for war crimes and

32:16let me ask you a different way would you agree it would be a violation

32:20of international law to blow up a bunch of civilian infrastructure in iran because iran

32:27did not agree to open the strait of hormuz that would be a violation of

32:30international humanitarian law if we actually did actually that's that that is Incorrect.

32:36There are that we have a long history.

32:39We could show look at video after video of the bridges that we bombed in

32:43World War Two and Vietnam and conflict after conflict of power plants in Serbia under

32:49the Clinton administration. This was not my question.

32:52My question was. It has dual use.

32:54Well, I'm going to have military with civilian uses.

32:57Mr. Ambassador, that was not my question.

32:59President Trump threatened to hit civilian infrastructure if Iran did not open the Strait of

33:06Hormuz. We all know international law.

33:08We know there are some exceptions to the general rule that you shouldn't hit civilian

33:11infrastructure. The enemy is occupying it.

33:14But my question was different.

33:16You don't think it's a violation of international law to blow up a bunch of

33:19civilian infrastructure because the government of Iran refused to open the Strait of Hormuz.

33:23You don't think that would be a violation?

33:25I think President Trump, the American people, do you think that would be a violation

33:26of international law? To use every bit of leverage that he that he I'm asking

33:31you and if you have.

33:32You said that President Biden needed to make clear that, quote, Putin is an absolute

33:38war criminal, unquote. Do you stand by your statement that Putin was an absolute war

33:44criminal? I'll tell you, Senator, statements I made as a member of Congress, very different

33:50than what I make now as an ambassador to the U .N.

33:53working for President Trump and representing the United States.

33:55So are you retracted? I certainly I support President Trump in everything he is doing

34:02and trying to end this awful.

34:04I just find it very interesting, Mr.

34:05Ambassador, that you called upon the former President Biden in no uncertain terms to condemn

34:10Putin as a war criminal.

34:12And you won't call upon President Trump to do the same thing.

34:16As you know, he has refused to do what you called upon President Biden to

34:19do. Let me move on.

34:20As you know, Senator, it's quite difficult to mediate the end of the war if

34:25you take such maximalist approaches.

34:27And now being a diplomat and a mediator and fulfilling his goals, working for him

34:32and his agenda is very different than when you're elected.

34:35It's interesting, though, I have to say, Mr.

34:37Ambassador, it was a simple question.

34:39I guess you are you're not asking this president to do what you asked the

34:43last president. Precisely. And you hear this term a lot, maximalist, right?

34:49That's like a term that they keep on using maximalist frameworks.

34:52And these are just people who are B .S .ing their way through this and

34:55are just trying to use big words and dazzle you with the B .S.

34:59As they as the expression goes, that's a maximalist approach.

35:03That was your approach last year before you got the job.

35:07That's what you were saying and applying a different standard maybe 18 months ago or

35:11so. That's a standard that you were applying.

35:14And by the way, that Biden was agreeing with that Putin was a war criminal.

35:19And now you you have arguably more power than any almost anybody right now.

35:26And you're out there saying that it is a maximalist approach to hold Putin accountable

35:32and that you need to be neutral and mediate when Russia's position and Putin's position

35:38is basically to destroy the United States of America and destroy NATO.

35:42And you're like, we're just a mediator.

35:44We're just, you know, a neutral in all of this.

35:46So I'm glad that these hearings were held so that we can expose this.

35:50I'll show you now Democratic Senator Murphy's cross -examination of United Nations Ambassador Walls, which

35:56I thought was powerful as well.

35:58You know, that's what I like.

36:00I mean, these Democratic senators are doing, you know, are out there calling out the

36:04war crimes. I mean, you know, I think more could be doing this, but I

36:07think Democratic Senator Murphy's doing a really good job.

36:10Let's play this clip. But President Trump has said that if Iran does not.

36:13imply with his demands that he will end Iran's civilization with specific threats to target

36:21civilian infrastructure. This looks to a lot of us into the world like a promise

36:28by the president of the United States to commit war crimes.

36:32I'm sure you don't, I'm sure you don't agree with that assessment, but we have

36:38never had a president before threatened to end an entire civilization and double down on

36:44that claim if that country does not accede to the demands of the United States.

36:50So what does the president mean when he says that if these negotiations don't work

36:57out, he will end Iran's civilization?

37:02Well, Senator, I think that statement in the broader context, he also talked about attacking

37:08infrastructure, bridges, power plants. And we all know Iran has a long history of co

37:15-mingling both civilian and military of hiding weapons in hospitals and schools and using what

37:23could be just pure civilian infrastructure to also power factories for drones, for missiles.

37:29And, and the IRGC controls nearly 50 % of the economy.

37:33I think it looks like, frankly, well, look, I guess, what does it mean?

37:39What does it mean to end a civilization?

37:41But I think we have to look at the fact that you have a regime

37:45that literally chants death to America for the last 47 years and has acted on

37:50it, has killed thousands of Americans, has slaughtered its own people.

37:55Do you know how many, I mean, how many machine gun bullets does it take

37:58over the course of a week to kill 40 ,000 of its own people?

38:02Right. But does that, does that merit a threat to I think it's civilization, Senator,

38:07it was some tough talk.

38:08And what are the results?

38:09What are the results was we had the highest level engagement in the history of

38:15the Iranian regime with the vice president and speaker of the parliament less than a

38:20week later, we had a ceasefire 48 hours later, they clearly got the message and

38:26they clearly came back to the table.

38:27Yeah. Okay. I think there's a lot there to break down, but at the end

38:32of it, I mean, one, he's leaning in on destroy the civilization of Iran.

38:37That's the policy of the Trump regime, mass genocide.

38:41I mean, you hear him saying that war crimes and mass genocide, but then he

38:46also says, but if you look at Trump's tough talk, look at the results.

38:51That's what brought Iran to the negotiating table.

38:54And that's why we're in a ceasefire.

38:56Now he later goes on to say, but Iran is violating the ceasefire by still

39:01controlling the Strait of Hormuz.

39:03The clip goes on and on and on, but that is a reinvention of the

39:06history of what happened. What actually happened, Donald Trump made a threat to wipe out

39:12the entire civilization. And he gave a deadline.

39:16Iran said, we're not backing down.

39:19Donald Trump got scared as he approached his own arbitrary deadline about blowing up the

39:25entire Iranian civilization. So then Donald Trump said to this Pakistani field marshal, the top

39:33guy in Pakistan that he knows, I need your help.

39:37You got to get me something.

39:39They said, okay, well, I guess you got to agree to Iran's 10 point negotiating

39:42framework. And that's all Iran will agree to.

39:45So then Donald Trump posts, we agree to Iran's 10 point negotiating framework.

39:51So what's in the... 10 -point negotiating framework.

39:53Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz.

39:56Iran gets to continue to enrich uranium.

39:58Permanent security guarantees for Iran, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and the Iranian Shiite militias in Iraq.

40:07Full reparations for the war, totaling more than $270 billion for Iran.

40:12The United States moves its military bases out of the Middle East.

40:17Iran gets to charge $2 million per tanker out of the Strait of Hormuz.

40:22Iran gets to keep its ballistic missiles, its Shahid drones, and its FPV drones.

40:29Iran gets to have all sanctions lifted, all UN resolutions against it lifted.

40:36Now, this is what Trump agreed to.

40:38I'm not giving you hyperbole.

40:41I'm not having a debate.

40:42There's nothing to debate. It's an objective fact.

40:45Trump agreed to that. How do I know?

40:48Trump had a 15 -point plan.

40:50Iran had its 10 -point plan, which we always had been talking about for weeks.

40:55Trump posted, we agree to a framework that is Iran's 10 -point plan.

41:01Then Donald Trump reposted Iran's foreign minister, Aragchi's statement saying the same.

41:08As a result of that, Iran agreed to the ceasefire and to have discussions in

41:13Pakistan, which were a complete and total failure because the Trump regime showed up.

41:18Donald Trump did it, and Marco Rubio didn't, the Secretary of State, the main person

41:23who's supposed to negotiate these things.

41:25They were at a UFC fight in Florida while Donald Trump was telling the UFC

41:30male fighters how handsome and good -looking they were.

41:32But they sent Kushner, Witkoff, and J .D.

41:35Vance to negotiate in Pakistan to say, actually, we don't agree to the 10 -point

41:41plan. We're going to go back to the 15 -point plan that we had originally,

41:45to which Iran said, well, then we're not going to do that.

41:47We're going to continue to control the Strait of Hormuz.

41:49We're going to continue to do exactly what we're doing.

41:53So you can have this ceasefire, but we control the Strait of Hormuz.

41:57And we're not going to agree to anything that deviates out of the negotiating framework.

42:02And that's where we are at this present moment.

42:06And now you have Gulf states and European countries saying they believe the soonest there

42:14can ever be a resolution.

42:16We're talking about six months from now.

42:18Europe's running out of jet fuel, maybe two, three weeks longer of jet fuel.

42:24There are going to be food shortages very soon.

42:28The Strait of Hormuz, basically no different right now than what was going on during

42:33the war. The bombs aren't dropping right now and the missiles aren't flying.

42:38But the Strait of Hormuz is effectively being controlled by Iran.

42:42Some tankers are still getting out and are passing the blockade.

42:45We're not getting good information from our CENTCOM about what's happening.

42:49But they're spiking the football like they've achieved some great result.

42:54The Wall Street Journal did an article the other day, yesterday, that the people now

42:58in charge at every level of the Iranian military, the national security structure at the

43:05Ayatollah level from Mojaba all the way to the IRGC to the national security are

43:11far more deeply entrenched, less compromising people than all the people who the Trump regime

43:19killed. You still have the Islamic Republic in control.

43:23And yet the Trump regime spikes the football as though this has some amazing accomplishment

43:29and that Donald Trump's social .

43:30. media post is what did it.

43:32Like, I just wanted to break down that full dynamic about - Yeah, but Ben,

43:36you're forgetting a totally new regime, you know?

43:39Okay. So all the people you just mentioned may still be in power.

43:42They may be the more hardline people who took over these positions, positions were killed.

43:46But instead of Khamenei's, him being alive, now his more hardline son is in power.

43:53I think we have to acknowledge the totally new regime and these people are way

43:56better. You know, this is just, I'm being sarcastic, obviously.

43:59I know. Occasionally I get like, why are you saying that?

44:02Being sarcastic. It's so classic Trump though, isn't it?

44:07Because he starts these things, he sparks chaos, and it's something that he's done really

44:12his entire life. And then like, you kind of tell he kind of gets bored

44:17with it, or he realizes that it's not exactly going well.

44:21And he wants to bail on it in the middle, but he's already so far

44:25in and he's already caused so much chaos that you can't just stop what you're

44:30doing in the middle of it.

44:32And then the whole world is left to pick up his mess.

44:35We've seen it with the tariffs.

44:37We're seeing it here. He starts something, and that's why there's this whole notion of

44:41Donald Trump taco -ing, because he gets the backlash, he sees what's happening with the

44:46markets, and then he goes, oh, I don't want to do that anymore.

44:49Or with this war, I think at a certain point he realized like how, you

44:53know, despite his bluster, how poorly this thing was going.

44:56And now he's looking for an out.

44:58The issue, strategically speaking, when you're looking for an out when you're this far in,

45:02and when things are not going well, is you're naturally going to end up giving

45:07major concessions to the people and make yourself worse off, and make the world worse

45:13off, and make your country worse off.

45:15And that's what we're seeing with Trump here.

45:17I mean, the situation by every metric right now is still horrible, and we don't

45:22know what's going to happen with these negotiations.

45:24We have a ceasefire that's going to expire in just a few days, if you

45:28want to call it a ceasefire.

45:30And Trump is acting like everything is great, and everything's, you know, never been better.

45:35And the markets go along with this BS, which all I've learned in the past,

45:39you know, I think one of the biggest lessons I've learned is that the market

45:42is just fake, that it's all the numbers are fake, it's all fake.

45:46I mean, if the Allbirds situation yesterday didn't sell you that this market is just

45:53fake, then I don't know what's going to I'm referring to the shoe company, Allbirds

45:57that was going bankrupt. And then yesterday, they decided that they were rebranding themselves as

46:02a artificial intelligence company. And because they named themselves an AI company, I don't even

46:08know what kind of AI they're doing, their stock went up like 600 to 800

46:11% or something. That's the kind of market we're dealing with right now.

46:15So don't give me the market to say that things are going well, because it's

46:19clearly all BS, right? Like we could we could acknowledge that.

46:22But when you look at the actual data, one of the issues right now is

46:27that oil is still not going to the places where it needs to go.

46:30And we're seeing these major warnings right now from these international energy agencies, saying that

46:37countries in Europe could be running out of jet fuel within the next like six

46:41weeks. And these are these are red alerts and people are acting like everything is

46:45fine. I saw yesterday a report that it looks like Spirit Airlines is about to

46:49go completely under because Spirit Airlines is a budget airline that runs in very tiny

46:54margins. And the jet fuel cost increases have destroyed their company and they're not able

47:00to recover. So they may be out of business, regardless of what you think about

47:04Spirit Airlines. And not so sure everybody has a positive image towards them.

47:08But Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep.

47:08Awesome. Soérience move on to this .

47:09Thank you. but that's a direct effect of Donald Trump's war here.

47:13The barrels are just not getting through.

47:16Now you have the blockade on top of the blockade.

47:19You have the Strait of Hormuz still closed.

47:21You still have, by the way, the Iranians getting through millions of barrels of oil

47:26despite this so -called blockade by the United States.

47:31While the world is in turmoil, it's like you have Trump and a lot of

47:35these people around him and these market forces kind of acting like everything's okay.

47:40But when push comes to shove, when that oil delivery does not show up, when

47:45all of a sudden they don't have, people don't have oil or don't have jet

47:48fuel or don't have gas, people are going to feel it.

47:51And that's why we're seeing countries, not in the United States, but countries with more

47:55responsible leaders actually giving this warning to their people, not so different than warnings that

48:01they gave to their people at the beginning of COVID.

48:03That, hey, we might start to have to ration some supplies here.

48:07We may have to, if you could work from home, work from home because we

48:11might run out of gas or gas is going to get super expensive because we're

48:14getting short on supply here.

48:16I mean, people are already setting their citizens up for that reality should this continue.

48:22And the impacts that will already come from Donald Trump's actions cannot be erased.

48:27We can only try to now kind of recover, try to get back to where

48:33we are. This is an ugly situation and it's like everybody is just playing pretend.

48:39Yeah. And look, not to mention that Donald Trump getting us in this war of

48:42his choice, he killed over a dozen US troops.

48:45Like that needs to really just be like the first thing that everyone always talks

48:48about. He got over a dozen US troops killed, Donald Trump did, for his war

48:52of choice. Yeah. Not to mention the skyrocketing oil prices and all of that as

48:56well. And also he bombed a little girl's school.

48:59That's Donald Trump. It's the president of the United States.

49:02Those are facts. Those are just the facts of it.

49:04I want to go back quickly to the Waltz clips that we just showed and

49:07played. In my opinion, those clips that we had played, the responses from Waltz are

49:12just such a damning indictment of where we are as a society.

49:16Like I give it up to those Senate Dems and not cause I'm a Democrat,

49:20not cause I'm like, yeah, go blue team.

49:21No, because they're just trying to get the facts, man.

49:24Like truth matters. Words have meaning.

49:28And so when Trump is openly discussing war crimes and he's saying he wants to

49:33end a civilization, that's not tough talk.

49:37Okay. That, that means something.

49:38And he's telling you explicitly what that means.

49:41I think one of the biggest things that we'll have to grapple with as a

49:43society, as we go forward here, I think we've lost sight of that, that words

49:48have meaning and that actions have consequences.

49:51And so collectively, not like we here, but like we, uh, as a country just

49:55have to sort of like wake up and just like, you know, shake our heads

49:58and like get a refresher here and just, you know, double down on truth and

50:02facts and not just blindly defending an administration, a regime that we see Waltz doing

50:07up there. Like it's so embarrassing and empathetic.

50:11And frankly, just beneath any positions of power of government that we see from these

50:16quote unquote leaders every single day.

50:18It's not just even that words have consequences because they do, but consequences are consequences.

50:26When the thing happens, COVID, mass deaths, war, mass deaths, genocide, mass deaths.

50:38There is this numbing and this washing of the truth that at the actual thing

50:49itself is just viewed as just something happening in the cacophony of the chaos that

50:58exists in the day. And Brett, I think that's what you're getting at, which is

51:03it's this don't look up moment.

51:06If you all know the movie with the asteroid coming down to hit the earth

51:10and everybody's so caught up on their phones and devices and what crazy thing is

51:15happening here and crazy thing there that by the time people look up and there's

51:19the don't look up, you know, movements and like, let's don't look up.

51:23And there's like concerts about it.

51:24The thing is about to destroy everything.

51:26And so the consequences are the consequences and it's a real thing.

51:31And the tangible hurt and the pain people in the United States are suffering.

51:36It's not words. It's not a talking point to say people can't afford things that

51:40people can't afford homes or their rent or gas or healthcare or it's getting ripped

51:45away. It's not just words or a talking point that people are dying because they

51:50can't go see a doctor because they can't afford it.

51:55Like these are real things that are happening.

51:57And there is this detachment in this digital age and craze where we don't recognize

52:04a reality of that's, that's happening or we just kind of move on and it's

52:11treated as, I don't know, just this kind of similar Acura, this simulation.

52:16It's like, this is a real life.

52:17This is really happening. There's real human suffering.

52:21And if you don't empathize with what's happening in the people and that these are

52:25life and death, war and peace issues, then that's kind of how you, you, you

52:30get in this position. And so that's why so much, I hate to feel like

52:34I'm preaching on this network, but what I try to re shock the conscience of

52:40is that these are conscious, shocking things that are happening, not to be hyperbolic about

52:47it, but because it is a shared reality that is existing and we have to

52:51acknowledge it and we have to call it out and we can't just say the

52:55words. We have to understand that this is real suffering and what people are going

53:00through. Damn it. We take our last quick break of the show.

1:05:27And just take a look at what this article says.

1:05:30Dan F. was alarmed when his daughter, a Marine aboard the USS Tripoli, a warship

1:05:35deployed to fight the Iran war, sent him a photo of a meal served on

1:05:39the ship. A lunch tray, two -thirds empty, carried one small scoop of shredded meat

1:05:47and a single folded tortilla.

1:05:50A picture of a mid -April dinner on the USS Abraham Lincoln, shared by a

1:05:55service member with his family, was similarly unappetizing.

1:05:59A small handful of boiled carrots, a dried meat patty, and a gray slab of

1:06:06processed meat. And so military family members wanted to send food to their loved ones

1:06:13who weren't being fed by the United States military.

1:06:16But that has been shut down as well by the Trump regime.

1:06:21As that account, the Patriot Takes account has posted over there.

1:06:26Remember, because this is what the Trump regime said, that Americans should be eating one

1:06:29piece of chicken, one piece of broccoli, a small tortilla, and one other thing.

1:06:33Remember, that's when they put that out like two months ago.

1:06:35Well, there's no piece of chicken.

1:06:37There's no piece of broccoli.

1:06:38There's tortilla. And then there's one other thing right there.

1:06:42That's how Donald Trump is treating our troops.

1:06:46And what else would you expect with someone who called our troops suckers and losers

1:06:51and who hates our troops?

1:06:54Now, another development that we've always been focused on here in the Midas Dutch network,

1:06:59and this could be dominating the headlines tomorrow, a social media account that's very close

1:07:06to the Iranian parliament leader, MB Ghalibbaf, posted this message.

1:07:11Starting from noon tomorrow, the initial steps to block the Bab al -Mandab Strait will

1:07:18be taken. The Bab al -Mandab Strait is the Strait in the Red Sea.

1:07:23The Houthis were able to stop commercial ships and tankers a few years back in

1:07:31the Red Sea. They have not yet been activated by Iran in terms of shutting

1:07:36down the Bab al -Mandab Strait.

1:07:38But if the United States continues to escalate and Donald Trump continues to engage in

1:07:43these tactics that he is, Iran has said, here's what we're going to do.

1:07:47We're going to activate the Houthis.

1:07:50So we're going to be focused on that.

1:07:52A few other things that I want to pay attention to, we've covered it elsewhere

1:07:55in long hot takes, so I'm not going to belabor it here, but it's worth

1:07:59talking about. That federal judge in Washington, DC, who was appointed by George W.

1:08:04Bush in 2002, Judge Leon issued an order clarifying a prior order, which I don't

1:08:11think needed clarification, to state that the injunctive relief, the injunction to block Donald Trump's

1:08:18construction of a ballroom applies to everything above ground.

1:08:23The ballroom that Donald Trump wants to throw, to hold, that wants to build, to

1:08:28throw parties. Donald Trump said that, that that's for parties, it's for entertaining.

1:08:34Underneath, Donald Trump has said he's building a secret military bunker.

1:08:38And the judge said, I'm not getting involved in that.

1:08:41That's for national security, the bunker.

1:08:44But the ballroom is not national security.

1:08:47Donald Trump's argument is, the ballroom is national national security.

1:08:52I've already destroyed the East Wing of the White House, and now I need the

1:08:57ballroom to protect against Boliphon National Security.

1:08:59missiles, Shahid drones, and FPV drones from Iran and others.

1:09:05The ballroom is a shield to the White House to block missile strikes against me.

1:09:12So we have allowed private donors to build a ballroom shield, and it's a national

1:09:21security ballroom shield, not really a ballroom, and that it and the bunker are one

1:09:26and the same. Now we can't build the bunker unless we build the ballroom because

1:09:31it's all part of a security apparatus.

1:09:34That's what Trump has argued.

1:09:37National security ballroom, he's made social media posts about it as well.

1:09:42Federal judge Leon says, no, I don't agree with that.

1:09:47There is a judge named Rao in the circuit court in DC who seems to

1:09:52be auditioning. She seems to be auditioning for a Supreme Court position, and she's been

1:09:58making a lot of orders like Donald Trump, very Eileen Cannon -esque orders.

1:10:03So there's this volley back and forth between this MAGA sycophant judge who wants to

1:10:09replace Justice Thomas or Alito if they retire at the end of this term.

1:10:13Pay attention this summer. Remember this podcast where I said that could be happening.

1:10:18And Judge Leon, a conservative right -wing judge appointed by George W.

1:10:24Bush, who said, you know what?

1:10:25If you could build your ballroom, just go to Congress.

1:10:27Have Congress fund your ballroom and you can build your ballroom.

1:10:31It's as simple as that.

1:10:32You can't just build ballrooms.

1:10:34And the judge said, you, Trump regime, have already said that the underground is the

1:10:39national security issue and the above ground is the ballroom.

1:10:42I'm using your own words about what you've said here.

1:10:45So the judge clarified, build your bunker, not your ballroom.

1:10:49We'll see what happens on appeal there.

1:10:51We'll pay attention and stay focused.

1:10:53As noted before, there is a massive FIFA boycott that has been growing as well.

1:10:58We've heard European FIFA officials, their football league officials saying that there should be this

1:11:05boycott. But now we're seeing it in the data.

1:11:08Tourism officials and sports officials and cities that are hosting FIFA World Cup games in

1:11:16the United States are saying that not a lot of people are showing up.

1:11:21Not a lot of people intend to show up.

1:11:24U .S. hotels had to slash their summer room rates as World Cup demand falls

1:11:30short. Just think about it.

1:11:32The demand for the World Cup is now falling short because Donald Trump's threatening all

1:11:37of these other countries, ICE and border patrol, Gestapo and airports and on the streets,

1:11:41kidnapping people, throwing them into concentration camps, throwing them into concentration camps in El Salvador.

1:11:48Trump making it about himself, not about the sports.

1:11:52Trump threatening to kill the Iranian football team.

1:11:56Donald Trump giving himself FIFA prizes.

1:11:58It's gross. It's become a gross event, something that's incredible and loving.

1:12:03And don't get me wrong.

1:12:04FIFA's already always have been, there's always been corruption there, but people like to watch

1:12:08soccer if you're watching this about football.

1:12:10And Trump's made it into this like weird thing that's like, ugh, I don't even

1:12:14know I want to watch it.

1:12:15Like you've perverted it. You've given yourself trophies and awards while you've committed genocide and

1:12:21gone to war against the world.

1:12:23Dude, what are you doing?

1:12:23The hell are you doing?

1:12:24So you've got that. And then Saudi Arabia saying, I don't think we're going to

1:12:30fun live anymore. You know, that golf tournament that basically overtook the PGA and became

1:12:35like the big tournament. They threw around all this money.

1:12:38right? They knew that Donald Trump liked golf.

1:12:41They knew that rich people in America like golf.

1:12:43So for Saudi Arabia, it's like, how do you influence Americans?

1:12:46You buy golf tournaments and you invest in entertainment.

1:12:50And also part of the security umbrella, the quid pro quo, America provides weapons and

1:12:55technologies to the Middle East, these big sovereign wealth funds in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Abu

1:13:02Dhabi, Bahrain, you name it.

1:13:04They then invest in treasuries and private equity and put money into hedge funds here

1:13:10and real estate. And that's kind of the rule.

1:13:13I mean, as Donald Trump said, we're so weak and pathetic and America has never

1:13:17been weak. And why would we give other countries security?

1:13:20Because they parked their money in the United States, whether it was buying treasury bonds,

1:13:26real estate, the dollar being strong, that was kind of the bargain.

1:13:32That was the bargain. And Donald Trump is such an idiot and he's so selfish.

1:13:36And so and he bankrupts everything.

1:13:38He didn't even see, you know, he was so focused on the quid pro quos

1:13:42for himself without doing the, you scratch my back, I scratch your back part.

1:13:48The, I scratch your back part.

1:13:49When Donald Trump was called upon to protect the Middle East, not only did he

1:13:54not protect them, he went alone with Netanyahu and invaded Iran, didn't tell anybody, and

1:14:01now exposed all of these countries, whether it was Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi and

1:14:05Dubai and the UAE or Qatar, or all these countries have now had their major

1:14:09infrastructure projects damaged. Who the hell is going to go to Dubai for tourism anymore,

1:14:15right? Like ain't nobody going there.

1:14:16All of these countries that tried to, for generations, build these images as safe, stable

1:14:22places. They've seen that ripped away by Trump and Netanyahu's actions.

1:14:27They see Donald Trump looking so weak and pathetic.

1:14:31The point I wanted to make before is you, which I forgot to make though,

1:14:34is like, you may be saying, well, then why would Iran make this deal where

1:14:39Trump agreed to the 10 point framework?

1:14:41If they know that Trump was going to break it, like they knew Trump was

1:14:44going to break it, but to get the United States of America, Jordan, to your

1:14:49point, words have consequences and consequences have consequences.

1:14:52The United States of America who defeated the Nazis, the post -World War II undisputed

1:14:59juggernaut superpower, right? The fact that you got the United States to say, we agree

1:15:06to your 10 point plan, we'll negotiate within the Iranian framework.

1:15:10What Iran recognizes, that has consequences.

1:15:14Even if Donald Trump now pulls out of the framework, and maybe you can deceive

1:15:19certain Fox News or state regime media viewers in the United States, but the whole

1:15:24world saw what Donald Trump did in Europe, NATO, China, Japan, South Korea, Asia, Africa,

1:15:32Mexico, Central America, South America, Africa, the whole world said, whoa, Donald agreed to their

1:15:3910 point plan. The United, and you posted it on social media, and you reposted

1:15:46the foreign minister of Iran as though you agreed to it.

1:15:51Okay. Yeah. So Donald Trump sends Vance and Whitcoff to, you know, bad faith, change

1:15:55the terms. The damage was done when the world saw Donald Trump threatened to end

1:16:01civilizations, back out, agreed to the framework, then try to shift it.

1:16:06The world goes, uh -huh.

1:16:08Uh -huh. No balls, Donald.

1:16:12You know what I mean?

1:16:12What do you think? Like, what do you think about him?

1:16:14You know, I don't mean to talk about him.

1:16:16Most of this guy. is, this guy is weak.

1:17:17This is sexual killer behavior.

1:17:39hurt, defund golf, defund it.

1:17:41But it's also a warning shot about all these private, it's a warning shot by

1:17:46Saudi Arabia, private equity, you know, treasury bonds, you know, real estate, Saudi Arabia saying,

1:17:55you know what? Good luck.

1:17:57When you're doing business with the Saudis, I think everyone's first question is why, why,

1:18:02why do you want them to control your purse strings?

1:18:04Yeah. Why do you want to be beholden to them on anything?

1:18:07It's a bizarre stance to take.

1:18:08And so Ben, excellent point.

1:18:11It's a warning shot. We could do this to live.

1:18:14We could do this to every aspect of your life.

1:18:17We own you, Donald. We own your people.

1:18:21We own everyone in your circle.

1:18:23We control you. So watch this, watch that you like this thing.

1:18:29Well, you know, what I'm studying too, is if you've been noticing some of these

1:18:33big private equity companies, there's something called like redemptions when you can pull your money

1:18:39from a specific fund. A few weeks back, what I started noticing is that some

1:18:44of these big funds would cap their redemptions at certain percentages to prevent people from

1:18:51withdrawing money, right? Like if you think about Ponzi schemes, right, or run on banks,

1:18:57or you could potentially do a run on a private equity if all of a

1:19:02sudden you are able to start pulling your money out and redeeming it and taking

1:19:07it out of and taking out of these funds.

1:19:10So what I started noticing is I'm like, they're tapping redemptions.

1:19:15And so they're worried about, they're worried about it as well.

1:19:21So I'm paying attention to that.

1:19:22Brent, anything you want to say before we go?

1:19:24No, you know, that's why I don't have much to add other than the fact

1:19:29that, you know, people are always going to get burnt by Donald Trump when they

1:19:33enter deals with him. They do it, I think, to create some sort of leverage

1:19:38over him and have him be compromised.

1:19:41And, you know, going back to your point before about how the world saw Donald

1:19:47Trump's actions as weak, unserious, dangerous, and how the world cannot trust Donald Trump.

1:19:53I mean, just think about it.

1:19:55about this. We right now have Donald Trump, JD Vance, Mike Johnson, all of these

1:20:03Republicans out there every day, Tom Holman, they're going out there.

1:20:07They're attacking the Pope. They're attacking Catholics.

1:20:10They're taking revenge against Catholics.

1:20:13They're getting rid of Catholic funding to Catholic charities.

1:20:16This is sick stuff. At the same time, you have the Iranian leaders praising the

1:20:22Pope and praising Catholics and the rest of the world.

1:20:25It just shows you at this moment what side the United States is on here.

1:20:34It's a mess. As Jordi has said before, we don't need to belabor the point,

1:20:37but it's going to take quite a while for the United States to gain back

1:20:41its standing and its trust with the rest of the world after all of this.

1:20:46Quite frankly, there needs to be a reckoning for all of these folks around Donald

1:20:52Trump who have enabled this behavior.

1:20:54I think going back to the clips we showed in the beginning of all those

1:20:57people and Mike Waltz at the hearing refusing to want to offend Donald Trump by

1:21:02calling Vladimir Putin a war criminal and Mike Johnson and all these Franklin Graham and

1:21:07all those people defending Donald Trump's posts and his comments about the Pope.

1:21:11A Donald Trump cannot exist.

1:21:14A Donald Trump cannot rise to the position of power without the people around him

1:21:19there who continue to support, defend, and elevate that kind of behavior.

1:21:26Without the sycophants, the house of cards falls.

1:21:30So the responsibility, we could talk about Donald Trump to the end, but the responsibility

1:21:34truly is all the people around him who have enabled and encouraged this behavior every

1:21:40day. That's all I got, everybody.
