2:17It was a big 24 hours yesterday.

2:20We now have astronauts circling the moon for the first time since 1972.

2:33as they circumnavigate. Is that the right word?

2:36Orbit. The moon. Whatever the correct astrological term is, for those of you out there

2:42that were following that yesterday.

2:44President Trump addresses the nation last night.

2:47Continued discussion about... Do you have the correct term for...

2:56Yes. Well, I guess maybe astrological too.

2:59Unless we're talking about Mars being trine Uranus and Mercury retrograde.

3:17And also, Trump speaking last night.

3:23It has been going like crazy.

3:27Up and down. Fluctuating from one hour to the next based on what is being

3:31said about the Strait of Hormuz.

3:34But Buck, some breaking news.

3:36Not yet reported by Fox News.

3:39Which is the most plugged in inside, certainly, of the Trump administration of the news

3:45networks. But the lead story at CNN, the lead story at MSNOW, is a semaphore

3:54report that Attorney General Pam Bondi was told by President Trump yesterday that her time

4:01as Attorney General is over.

4:03Now, again, the New York Times has also now reported it.

4:08There have been multiple different outlets saying that it is true.

4:12There have been reports that Lee Zeldin, former candidate for governor of New York and

4:20congressman, current head of the EPA in the Trump administration, may be the choice to

4:26replace her. Again, those reports are out there.

4:30And we may have some official news on that.

4:34But if that were to occur, if Pam Bondi were to be out as Attorney

4:40General, coming relatively closely on the heels of Kristi Noem being removed, then I think

4:47it's a little bit of a sign that we are in a period of time

4:52where Trump is maybe making...

4:56I mean, remember, we had a lot of stability that Trump is making a lot

4:59of moves right now while he still has Senate control and he can easily replace

5:05cabinet members. To me, you're looking at this now and saying, OK, we don't know

5:10how November is going to go.

5:11We have a limited majority in the Senate.

5:14Given that you have to get confirmation for anyone that comes in for these jobs,

5:19then now is honestly the time to make a move so that you can definitely

5:24get... those confirmations taken care of mark wayne mullen was fast uh but again this

5:28news just breaking in the last uh 30 or 45 minutes and look i'll say

5:33this um out of uh christian kindness and charity we did not get into the

5:42latest really of another cabinet member who recently departed the administration because you know what

5:48nothing really to say there other than thoughts and prayers with hope that things get

5:53sorted out going forward i'll just leave it at that on the dhs side of

5:57things clay you know people can find those stories it's not worth getting into here

6:01because it's on it's honestly sad uh it's a sad situation so i'll just put

6:06that there there's coverage everywhere we haven't gotten into it in this case with pam

6:10bondy um we gave this administration our job is to comment and to inform right

6:15we inform you with the news we spend all morning all night we're texting back

6:19and forth trying to bring you and we're obviously going to talk about trump's iran

6:22address last night talk about uh some of these other breaking news stories today but

6:27that's really uh you know and then third we're all hanging out together basically right

6:31that's why when i see some of you and i saw some of you at

6:33the book event or listen to the show it's like we already know each other

6:36because we do already know each other this is just my way of saying we

6:40gave this administration trump did an incredible thing with this victory and he made a

6:46lot of really good choices in the cabinet and he made some that i thought

6:50were questionable and you know what he's making better choices now or rather he's adjusting

6:55as needed to get the best team in place he can with still enough time

7:00before the midterms that i think clay to your point being able to get it

7:03through the senate can get on task and make things happen it's never going to

7:06be perfect trump went with a few people who i think were more loyal than

7:11competent and he is adjusting as necessary for the good of the mission and the

7:17good of the country and that's that's my uh that's my two cents on that

7:21one i'm paid for my two cents that's my two cents um i would say

7:25that the epstein files 2 .0 the binder the influencers and the answers to the

7:33epstein questions have been the biggest swing and a miss of trump 2 .0 and

7:39much of that falls at the feet i believe of pam bondy so if she

7:43is on her way out um as there are reports and again some of these

7:48uh people who claim to be incredibly well sourced in the white house are not

7:52always correct but we have not seen any direct denial at least in the last

7:57hour or so from the white house to these reports i would like permission from

8:02the judge to do a brief sports analogy yes of a different kind and it

8:08is so give me a little leeway with this one uh your honor when you're

8:12playing tennis one of the biggest things and i'm talking about rec tennis players out

8:17there okay not the semi pros and the pros we're gonna flood my dms and

8:20be like i could beat you i know sure i'm sure you can when you're

8:24playing tennis there are two kind of mistakes because it's really about who makes fewer

8:27mistakes 90 that's who actually wins right two kinds of mistakes right shot wrong shot

8:33let me say that yes this is such good advice most of success in life

8:38is not people doing things to you it's you not screwing up the choices that

8:42you make and people won't acknowledge it they won't realize it it's easier to expect

8:47that there's some external force destroying your success in life most of the time it's

8:52you there's our ted talk but it is a good and i promise first of

8:55all that is very good advice uh second of all consistency is one of the

8:59most underrated things not just in tennis but in life i mean being able to

9:04be consistently good consistently reliability is kind of a synonym for it in this context

9:09you know you get it done day after day you get it done why am

9:13i talking about this in the context of attorney general there are shots that you

9:17miss clay where you're like you know what i missed it but it was tough

9:20it was the right shot i was under pressure or i had the advantage it

9:23was the right shot i just missed it and then there are the shots where

9:27you really got to rethink things like what am i doing that was a dumb

9:30shot the binder thing was not a tough shot that you just missed that was

9:35a dumb shot and the whole roll out of it and all that stuff with

9:39you know so you can you can very easily in your mind move past okay

9:43that was the right shot even though i missed it with pam bondy she was

9:47picking wrong shots and you can't do that you can't do that at that level

9:51you're just going to get smoked you're going to lose and she wasn't getting it

9:54done for the administration on that she was loyal i think she's a good american

9:57i think she's a good person i have nothing against pam bondy i think she

10:01served honorably she just wasn't ready for this level of the game lee zeldon reportedly

10:07going to get elevated again we'll see let me just mention a name if there

10:12is such a thing as contemplation of other candidates and we likely we've had him

10:16on the show a lot um i think ron de santis would be a great

10:20attorney general phenomenal but i just i don't know what ron de santis's plans are

10:27because for those of you out there in florida i know you're you love the

10:30governor and he's done a phenomenal job but he is done basically in november um

10:36and so i don't know that he would want to step away from being governor

10:41but if you told me right now hey who has a job outside of the

10:46administration that you think would be really good as attorney general i think ron de

10:52santis This would be a phenomenal attorney general.

10:54Now, Lee Zeldin is in the administration.

10:56That may be an easier idea for Trump to take somebody who's already a part

11:01of his cabinet. He may feel like he has a better working relationship.

11:04All those things are true.

11:05But if the White House came to me, not that they will, and they said,

11:08hey, who do you think would do a really good job outside the administration?

11:12I would give him Ron DeSantis.

11:14Here's another one. And again, I don't know that he would give it up.

11:17Ted Cruz would be a really great attorney general, too.

11:19Both of those guys, I think, would do an elite job of managing the overall

11:26Department of Justice. Now, again, Lee Zeldin may be as well.

11:29And there is the fact that he's already in the administration.

11:34And it's going to be a lot of challenges on the midterm.

11:40And so if you're going to make a move, Buck, I think it's smart to

11:44do it now in the spring before we get into the summer chaos of election

11:48season. This is this is time to clean house.

11:50And like I said, I actually I understand why Trump with what with one exception.

11:56And I was pretty I think everyone knows who that would be from my perspective.

12:00I understand why he went with the picks that he did, because given what he

12:03was under with the four indictments and the people who abandoned him, the people who

12:08turned on him, his own vice president came a former vice president came on the

12:13show and said he wouldn't pardon him if he was going to prison.

12:15And I mean, I can understand Trump saying we have to have loyalty because we

12:21have to be a cohesive unit in this administration.

12:23We can't have leaks. We can't have people that think they're single handedly saving the

12:28country and the Constitution. You can't have any of that.

12:32That said, there are some changes that need to be made.

12:35And he's making those changes.

12:36So I see this as the right progression for Trump under this under the circumstances.

12:42I'm seeing reports. There may be a couple of other changes and none of the

12:46changes that I'm seeing he may make are surprising.

12:48And they're not people who I would say are, you know, it's not that they're

12:51corrupt or bad people or didn't try their best.

12:54They may just not be the best fit for this role in this administration at

12:58this time. And that's OK, which is why I might add, you'll notice the way

13:02Trump is, if he does put out a tweet on a truth, a tweet on

13:06Pam Bondi here, he's going to say Pam was great.

13:09She served her country. We appreciate her.

13:10And everyone should show her all due respect.

13:12And that's all true. But this is the way to do it.

13:15Not to let things drag out, not to get caught up in the political scrum

13:19of the midterms. Clean house now with the best team.

13:23You know, he's got it.

13:23He's got to treat it, Clay, like he's the coach of a team in a

13:25big game. You know, totally.

13:27And again, sometimes QB one needs to sit on the bench for a few minutes.

13:30And it's possible again, if you lose control of the Senate, getting your cabinet members

13:36confirmed is going to be tough.

13:37And once you get into the campaign season, it's going to be tougher.

13:41So now is the time to make a move.

13:42Let me play this and then we'll go to break.

13:46President Trump last night. So that's potentially brand new breaking news for all of you,

13:51as is being reported. And again, there's lots of news that's reported that doesn't end

13:56up being true, but there are multiple places talking about it right now.

13:59OK, Trump said yesterday, Buck, we're going to hit Iran extremely hard over the next

14:05two to three weeks. I thought this was potentially the most significant thing that he

14:10said last night. This is cut eight.

14:11Thanks to the progress we've made, I can say tonight that we are on track

14:16to complete all of America's military objectives shortly, very shortly.

14:21We're going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks.

14:26We're going to bring them back to the Stone Ages where they belong.

14:30In the meantime, discussions are ongoing.

14:34Regime change was not our goal.

14:36We never said regime change, but regime change has occurred because of all of their

14:42original leaders' death. They're all dead.

14:46The new group is less radical and much more reasonable.

14:51Yet if during this period of time no deal is made, we have our eyes

14:54on key targets. If there is no deal, we are going to hit each and

14:59every one of their electric generating plants very hard and probably simultaneously.

15:06So that is where we are.

15:08Buck, we'll come back. We'll talk a little bit about that as the situation in

15:12Iran continues to play out.

15:14We'll update you on what oil and gas prices are doing.

15:17As much of the focus now has shifted to the Strait of Hormuz and how

15:24the ships are going to be able to traverse that area.

20:49So I watched the Trump address last night on Iran.

20:54No big surprises, really just reiterating a lot of what Trump had been saying in

21:00recent days about this campaign.

21:02He said that this is not about regime change, that the military operation has been

21:08incredibly successful and that this is stopping Iran from, he says, ever getting a nuke.

21:15But he also discussed timeline.

21:17We didn't play 8 yet, did we?

21:18Okay, my short -term memory goes on radio, unfortunately.

21:228, here it is. We did play 8.

21:25See, that's why I asked you that one.

21:26All right, so then we're going to play 7 here because these two got jumbled

21:30up in my mind. Play 7, thank you.

21:31They were involved in the attack on the USS Cole and they carried out the

21:37countless other heinous acts including the blood, just horrible, bloody atrocities of October 7th in

21:46Israel. Some... Some... thing that most people have never seen anything like it.

21:51This murderous regime also recently killed 45 ,000 of their own people who were protesting

21:58in Iran. 45 ,000 dead.

22:01For these terrorists to have nuclear weapons would be an intolerable threat.

22:06The most violent and thuggish regime on Earth would be free to carry out their

22:11campaigns of terror, coercion, conquest, and mass murder from behind.

22:16And a nuclear shield. I will never let that happen.

22:21That's the big takeaway here, Clay.

22:23He's just saying there will never be a nuclear Iran, and this is a huge

22:26step in that direction. He obviously gave the timeline, which you mentioned before.

22:33This is where we are.

22:34I think that Trump feels very confident that he's going to get to the end

22:38state here that he sought from the beginning.

22:41Totally. And what I would say is I feel very confident this is all going

22:46to be done by May 1.

22:47And I've been saying that for a little while.

22:50The two - to three -week timeline, Trump likes to publicly negotiate.

22:54It could happen before then.

22:56But if you are out there and you're looking at oil and gas prices, I

22:59know a lot of people are.

23:00I know what it feels like to look at those, to stand there and think,

23:04oh, man, this is way more than I anticipated.

23:08I think they will start to come back down sooner rather than later.

23:13And as we get into the driving season of the summer, I think they'll be

23:18reasonable relative to past years.

24:22So, okay, let's dive into this a little bit.

24:29We got a couple of different takes that I just can't not play this right

24:35now. Ketanji Brown -Jackson, Buck, is Joe Biden's final curse on the United States.

24:43We talked about yesterday when Joe Biden said, I will only put a black woman

24:48on the Supreme Court. I believe, team, look this up and make sure that I'm

24:53right. I think 2 % or 3 % of lawyers are black women in the

24:59entire country. So, in one fell swoop, Joe Biden said, I'm not going to consider

25:0597 % or 98 % of all lawyers in America for the Supreme Court.

25:12And, as a result, we now have Ketanji Brown -Jackson.

25:17And, Buck, it feels like every single oral argument, there is another viral, I can't

25:26believe this is real, Ketanji Brown -Jackson clip.

25:29And I tweeted this yesterday, and I said, we only have about 30 more years

25:35of this. But it is the truth that the most consequential decision from a personnel

25:41perspective that almost any president will make is who he puts on the Supreme Court.

25:47And Ketanji Brown -Jackson, I believe, is 56 years old.

25:50So, if we think that she's going to serve for another 25 or 30 years,

25:54we're going to have to prepare ourselves for more and more of this.

25:57And this was the question that she asked, having to do with yesterday's hearing on

26:05birthright citizenship. I want you guys to listen.

26:08She compares it to stealing a wallet in Japan.

26:11I was thinking about this, and I think there are various sources that say this,

26:16that you can have, you obviously have permanent allegiance based on being born in whatever

26:22country you're from. That's what everybody recognizes.

26:24But you also have local allegiance when you are on the soil of this other

26:30sovereign. And I was thinking, you know, I'm, I'm, I'm a U .S.

26:34citizen and visiting Japan. And what it means is that, you know, if I steal

26:39someone's wallet in Japan, the Japanese authorities tend to arrest me and prosecute me.

26:45It's allegiance meaning, can they control you as a matter of law?

26:50I can also rely on them if my wallet is stolen to, you know, under

26:55Japanese law, go and prosecute the person who has stolen it.

26:59So there's this relationship based on, even though I'm a temporary traveler, I'm just on

27:05vacation in Japan, I'm still locally owing allegiance.

27:11This is, look, lawyers often think based on analogy.

27:15Buck, because it is an important part of the law to subtly alter fact patterns

27:20and consider how the implications of your decisions might apply in situations that have not

27:26yet arisen. That's an important part of the legal process.

27:29This is so moronic. Everyone is subject to the law of the jurisdiction that they

27:36are physically present in. This is not a complicated, I'm sorry, this is just not

27:42a complicated issue. So the fact that she is somehow analogizing birthright citizenship with committing

27:49a crime in a foreign country and not recognizing that this is just absolutely preposterous

27:56is just a sign that she doesn't grasp intellectually the heft of the decisions or

28:03even is able to grapple with them, Buck, in a significant, intelligent way as lawyers

28:09should be able to do.

28:10And in that sense, she's actually the perfect Democrat Supreme Court justice, because it doesn't

28:16matter. She doesn't even have the ability.

28:19You know, Kagan can sit there, think it through, figure it out.

28:24Sotomayor a little bit more, I think, than Ketanji Brown -Jackson.

28:27Not really. I mean, Sotomayor is pretty dumb just for a lawyer, not dumb for

28:32a person, but for a lawyer, not not somebody that should.

28:34For a Supreme Court justice.

28:36That's the point. For a Supreme Court justice.

28:38These are supposed to be the most brilliant legal minds in our nation of 360

28:44million people. The most brilliant legal minds.

28:48That is what we are supposed to be getting.

28:52Ketanji Brown -Jackson, look, if somebody wants to prove me wrong, I don't think she

28:55had the LSAT score if she wasn't a black female applying under the affirmative action

28:58regime to get into whatever state school, state law school she was from.

29:02I'm just telling you, I don't believe it.

29:04I don't think she had the ability.

29:06And this was a real thing.

29:08The Supreme Court had to take this up.

29:10There was a whole regime for decades of, yeah, you actually have, like, two standard

29:16deviations, lower scores for the LSAT than your peer group that's going to be in

29:20this class. But we're going to let you in because of superficial characteristics and the

29:25history of discrimination or whatever.

29:27That's reality. That's reality. And this is now, because what's her whole justification for being

29:32in the Supreme Court? She went to Harvard Law School.

29:34Okay. Where's the ability that we were supposed to see that got her into Harvard

29:38Law School? They used to demand that presidential candidates, remember this, under the Bush -Carrie

29:43regime? Bush -Carrie administration, rather.

29:46That would be fun. They were president, vice president.

29:50Show us your SAT scores.

29:51That was the big hit that the Democrats put on George Bush until they found

29:55out that, I think he, who had higher SATs, guys, Bush or Kerry?

29:59It was very close. And their grades at Yale, Bush had better grades.

30:03So their whole thing was Bush is so dumb.

30:06By the way, not even that your grades at Yale necessarily makes you smart or

30:09dumb. But your ability as a lawyer, this is why it matters, by the way,

30:12also true of doctors, LSAT score, MCAT score corresponds very highly with your actual success

30:22and ability at the peak of that profession.

30:25It's just the truth. It's just the reality of it.

30:29I have no business being on the Supreme Court.

30:32I would be an infinitely better Supreme Court justice than Ketanji Brown -Jackson.

30:40And some of this, Buck, I'm just insulted by.

30:42You mentioned Sotomayor. You and I work a lot to be prepped, to read, to

30:48be ready to talk to everybody out there in this audience every day.

30:52It's a privilege to do this.

30:54And I think we have a responsibility to be well -informed because many of you

30:58are busy. And your job is not to know everything under the sun about the

31:02news, right? So I work really hard.

31:04You work really hard. We read a lot.

31:06We're constantly working. I'm insulted.

31:09I'm insulted as a citizen when there are nine Supreme Court justices.

31:15That job is unbelievably transcendent for a lawyer to be able to have.

31:21And they won't do the bare minimum of work, even though they have completely elite

31:29staffs, Buck, that are often drafting their opinions, that are putting everything in front of

31:34them and saying, just read this.

31:37But they've never had to.

31:39This is the point. She's never had to do the work, Clay.

31:42She's always been told, you're brilliant.

31:45You're the greatest. Same with Sotomayor.

31:48Or you're brilliant. You're the greatest.

31:50The whole system has propped up this cohort of people at the most elite levels

31:55of their profession. And I want to be very clear.

31:58A lot of people get very low SATs and have a lot of different kinds

32:01of smarts and creativity and go on to have incredibly productive and brilliant lives.

32:05This is not a knock on people that didn't do great on standardized tests or

32:08SATs. But in law, at the very highest level of understanding the complexities of law,

32:14it's like, hey, when I'm telling you you're going to have a brain surgeon, I'm

32:18not saying who's going to sell you a car or who's going to start a

32:21really elite HVAC business in your town that's going to make him a millionaire.

32:25All things you can do with that.

32:27If I tell you, Clay, you're going to have a brain surgeon, but his MCAT

32:31score was in the 10th percentile, how do you feel about that?

32:35Not good. If you tell me that the guy who's fixing my HVAC is great,

32:40everybody thinks he does a phenomenal job, but...

32:43He got, like, a 900 total SAT.

32:45I'm like, well, he's great at HVAC.

32:47I don't care. Like, he's a businessman.

32:48But there are some things where it actually matters.

32:51And the Supreme Court is one where it matters.

32:53And there was a whole generation where all the law schools were doing this and

32:58everything else. And we just saw a plan.

33:00Obama was the president of Harvard Law Review.

33:03Never actually wrote anything for Harvard Law Review.

33:06Just they made him the president of it.

33:08Because, oh, he's Obama. They gave him a Nobel Peace Prize.

33:12Because he became president. The whole DEI regime.

33:16We're going to be dealing with this for a long time.

33:18But people are, you have to be able to be honest.

33:21By the way, if I'm wrong, if Katanji Brown -Jackson got, like, a 170 or

33:25something on the LSAT, which is super elite, I apologize.

33:28And she should let that out there and everybody can know.

33:31Okay. By the way, it still wouldn't change the fact that she's not preparing.

33:35Yeah. Right? I mean, that's the insult to me because, you know, remember when Sotomayor

33:41said, I don't even remember what the number was, but they were debating whether you

33:45should be mandated to get the COVID shot.

33:46And she said something like there were a hundred.

33:48I think she said, like, there was a hundred thousand kids hospitalized right now with

33:53COVID. And you just looked at it and you said, you haven't done the bare

33:58minimum of prep. You're ignorant.

34:01Yeah. And it's a willfulness to not do the work.

34:04And so when she's making an analogy like that, this is a supremely important decision,

34:09as most are, that reach the Supreme Court.

34:11It's complicated. A lot of brilliant lawyers have argued other sides to get to the

34:17point where we say, hey, we got to have the nine final arbiters of what

34:22the law is. Look at this.

34:25And, you know, Ketanji Brown Jackson, this same week was the lone dissent in the

34:30eight to one decision over whether you can try to have conversion therapy, so -called,

34:35in Colorado. She is just a left -wing blue sky poster who Joe Biden put

34:43on the Supreme Court. And for the next 30 years, you can even see the

34:47frustration coming from Elena Kagan and even from Sotomayor.

34:51Certainly, we talked about Amy Coney Barrett, who is maybe the kindest sounding.

34:56You know, I listened to her and I was like, she sounds like somebody who

34:59puts you to sleep reading a book with her voice.

35:02And she took a two -by -four tour.

35:05I mean, I'll just tell you this.

35:06I looked this up. I was curious.

35:08The average difference, you can just find this stuff online now, again, because this has

35:12all come out. This used to be forbidden to talk about.

35:15Like, you couldn't discuss this if you were at college.

35:17Everyone would yell at you and shout.

35:18This is just facts. This is reality.

35:20And it was a policy of racial discrimination that these universities did engage in for

35:24decades and still try to engage in.

35:27But now they know that it's unconstitutional.

35:29They're not allowed to do this.

35:30So they can't shout you down because you're saying, hey, you're breaking the law.

35:34That doesn't really work anymore.

35:35The difference, Clay, for Harvard students between the average black student and the average white

35:42student at Harvard on the LSAT is at least 10 points difference.

35:48To understand this, that's the difference between being in the 98th percentile or the 70th

35:54percentile. It is a huge, huge differential on that test.

36:00Enormous. The 98th percentile versus 70th.

36:03Yeah, the bell curve on this gets really altered in a hurry.

36:08I think the numbers were, when I did it, Buck, if you get a 160

36:11or above, you're in the 85th percentile.

36:15So if you're talking about a 10 percentile drop, like the 10 points on the

36:21LSAT. Yeah, yeah, right. But the 160s and the 170s, it's not, you know, people

36:25look at that and they hear, oh, you know, she got a 148 or a

36:29150 and they think, okay, well, that doesn't sound that much different.

36:33The difference between a 150 and a 160 is like 30 percentile points.

36:37Yes. I mean, so you're talking about sub 50 percentile for some of these.

36:44It's really staggering. And again, if she were doing the work and I was hearing

36:49these questions and I thought to myself, okay, she's actually putting in the time.

36:55It's just an embarrassment that she's on the court.

36:57And frankly, I think it's unconstitutional because by Supreme Court presidents, you can't do what

37:04Joe Biden did to put her on the court.

37:06You can't say, I'm only going to consider black women for a job anywhere.

37:12That would be a flagrant violations of civil rights law nationwide.

37:16So why is it allowed for the Supreme Court for Joe Biden to have come

37:20out and say, I'm only going to put a black woman on?

37:23And again, the team looked it up.

37:24That eliminates 97 or 98 percent of lawyers nationwide.

37:30So you're immediately saying, I'm only picking in the two to three percent of the

37:36population pool. What are the odds that when you say that about anything, you get

37:41the best person for any job?

37:43If you immediately on its face say, I'm only considering that not just imagine, take

37:48it outside of race. If you said, I'm only considering people for the Supreme Court

37:52who are five foot or shorter.

37:55I think a lot of people would say, well, that doesn't seem like a good

37:57idea, right? Or six, eight or taller, whatever the math is.

38:01You know, on the other side of this, I would just argue, I think Justice

38:03Clarence Thomas, a black man, which you will somehow like never really hear.

38:08You'll never really hear about him in the Democrat media.

38:10Justice Clarence Thomas is, I think, arguably one of the giants of the court of

38:16all time, I think, has a tremendous legal insight, wisdom, and knowledge, and proves, whether

38:23you agree with him or not, all the time with what comes down under his

38:27name, that he deserves to be there.

38:29So, you know, it's just a question of, do you want people that can handle

38:34this stuff or not? Justice Thomas can handle the legal reasoning, is a brilliant guy,

38:39knows a hell of a lot more about this stuff than me or Clay or

38:42a lot of the people out there listening who are actually lawyers.

38:45Katangia Brown -Jackson, I think I know more about the law than she does.

38:48I'm being honest with you.

38:49I think we could sit around and get into this.

38:51Without her staff there, I'd be like, give me a month to study.

38:54I think I'd probably be here.

38:57I said I have no business being on the Supreme Court.

38:59I'm licensed in two different jurisdictions.

39:01I've been a lawyer now, licensed for, what, 22 years?

39:05I think I would be infinitely better than her, and I should not ever be

39:08infinitely better as a Supreme Court justice than anyone when there's only nine of them

39:13and they're at the absolute apex of the legal profession.

39:15By the way, I was right.

39:17Sotomayor, during those debates, said over 100 ,000 kids were currently hospitalized with COVID.

39:24I think the number was like 120.

39:26I mean, that is unacceptable.

39:29And by the way, not from COVID, but they were in the hospital for other

39:32things, as we know, and they happened to have a cold alongside it because that's

39:36what it was for kids, a cold.
