2:25spiral out of control. It's Monday, so it's Market Manipulation Day.

2:30But Donald Trump's ability to manipulate the market by claiming he's been involved in negotiations

2:35with Iran just ain't really working anymore.

2:39In fact, the Iranian leadership is now saying, don't listen to him.

2:43Do the opposite of what he says.

2:44He's just going to try and manipulate the market.

2:47And they, in Iran, continue to mock Donald Trump and his regime.

2:53Donald Trump, again, started pretending that he was having all of these negotiations with Iran.

2:58He said that they agreed to most of the 15 points in the 15 -point

3:03negotiation plan. Then Iran quickly countered and said, we're not agreeing to any of these

3:08terms. We put forward our non -negotiables a while ago.

3:12We're not even talking to the intermediary that the Trump regime is trying to use.

3:17They want to use Pakistan.

3:19And yes, Donald Trump rushed to Pakistan to convey a message to Iran, which was

3:24delivered. But Iran said, we've made our position very clear.

3:27publicly of what would be required to end this war.

3:31There has to be full reparations.

3:33We get to control the Strait of Hormuz.

3:35We never will talk about ever disarming when it comes to ballistic missiles and Shahid

3:42drones. We need to make sure that there are firm security guarantees for Iran, for

3:48Hezbollah, for the Shiite militias in Iraq, for the Houthis and other proxy groups of

3:55Iran. And we want American and Israeli military bases out of the region.

4:00Unless those threshold matters are agreed to, we have no interest in even having a

4:05negotiation to begin with. And we're not engaging at all with Trump's 15 -point framework.

4:10It's a fiction. We're not talking about it.

4:12And then Iran continue to retaliate from the strikes against it by the United States

4:17and Israel by targeting areas in Iraq, in Erbil, by targeting the UAE, by hitting

4:24an oil depot in Haifa, in Israel, and other areas in Israel, by hitting Bahrain

4:30and Kuwait, a desalination and electrical facility in Kuwait.

4:36And so Iran still has a large portion of its ballistic missiles and Shahid drones

4:43intact. And the war continues.

4:46So all of Donald Trump's claims, hey, we're right about to end it.

4:50We're about to, you know, things are about to get better.

4:52No one believes him anymore.

4:53He's a total and utter liar.

4:55We're hearing from a lot of world leaders right now, like the German Chancellor Friedrich

5:00Merz, who says that the effect of the Iran war on Germany and Europe will

5:05be as serious as the COVID -19 pandemic.

5:07If it expands, and obviously it is expanding, Italy's defense minister went on the record

5:13to say, I am forced to know things about what could happen in the coming

5:16week and the effects it will have on the economy and our daily lives that

5:20no longer allow me to sleep.

5:22Similarly, South Korea's president said today, the world is in turmoil over the energy crisis.

5:27The situation is so serious that it has even kept me up at night.

5:31The immediate problem is grave enough, but the outlook ahead seems even more unstable.

5:37The situation is worse than expected.

5:41We'll talk a lot about what's going on in Trump's disastrous and catastrophic war in

5:45Iran. We'll also talk about the fact that in the United States, while people are

5:50psychologically tortured, living paycheck to paycheck, if they're lucky enough to get a paycheck in

5:54the first place, while inflation right now is surging, by all accounts were already in

5:59a recession and perhaps a great recession or something even worse.

6:03We're definitely in a jobs recession.

6:05No jobs are being created.

6:07People can't afford things. People can't afford their rent.

6:09We have some of the highest credit card delinquency rates, student loan delinquency rates, mortgage

6:15foreclosures in many, many, many years.

6:19We have the lowest consumer confidence.

6:21While all of that's going on here, Congress has decided to go and take a

6:25recess. MAGA Republicans control the Senate and the House.

6:28They dipped out. By the way, we see lots of photos of them right now

6:32on vacation. I mean, I think we saw Lindsey Graham in Disney World with like

6:36a bubble wand and like partying it up over there.

6:39Weird. While the American people are struggling here.

6:42And before they left, the Senate was able to, on a bipartisan basis, pass a

6:48funding bill that would fund TSA.

6:52Whereas in the House of Representatives rather than just pass an identical bill and then

6:57put it on the president's desk, Donald Trump told the MAGA members in the House

7:00to vote against it unless more money was given to ICE and Border Patrol even

7:05though they were going to be.

7:06funded hundreds of billions of dollars so in the house they basically blocked what was

7:10going on in the senate but in any event donald trump signed an executive order

7:14saying that he would be funding tsa out of other funds that were appropriated for

7:20other reasons which shows that if donald trump really wanted to in the first place

7:24he could have funded tsa agents all of this time but he was using them

7:28as pawns to make them suffer as part of some cruel and unusual game for

7:33the worst negotiator in history and that's really what we need to be clear as

7:37well that he's quite literally the worst leader the worst negotiator a destroyer and not

7:43a builder a lifelong loser it's why he's lost his whole life he's never been

7:48a winner he's just been a con artist his entire life he's bankrupted this business

7:51that business and he's systematically doing it to the united states uh economy and to

7:57our alliances and to all the things that made the united states strong post world

8:02war ii one other point that we'll cover in this episode as well uh vladimir

8:06putin sent a ship to cuba loaded with a massive amount of oil easily uh

8:12sailing through this so -called trump blockade you know how trump has put this blockade

8:17and embargo on cuba and all these other countries that wanted to deliver oil and

8:23supplies to cuba like mexico and colombia uh they were interdicted and donald trump's uh

8:29ships are the united states uh ships said get out or else we're gonna like

8:34whatever go after you and donald trump signed an executive order on january 30th say

8:39anybody who gives oil to cuba um is going to face severe tariffs and severe

8:44sanctions it was executive order one four three eight zero well after donald trump removed

8:50oil sanctions against russia where they're making billions of dollars a day as russian duma

8:56leaders like the russian senate their top leaders were in washington dc last week taking

9:01tours of our capitol building meeting with the state department and meeting with mega republican

9:05congress members as we've learned more and more details about russia supplying iran with military

9:12equipment weapons and the surveillance and information about where to target including targeting the united

9:20states air bases 13 of them have now been evacuated by the united states military

9:25a united states military base in saudi arabia was attacked by iran using uh russian

9:32likely russian equipment and russian surveillance a boeing e3 century awax the early warning uh

9:39aircraft which was like the crown jewel of our air force was destroyed um a

9:44bunch of the other kc -135 strato tankers were destroyed um but uh we're rewarding

9:50russia for helping iran kill americans and target the american equipment they were brought over

9:55to have meetings with the state department more concessions were given and then when putin

10:00sailed his big ship his big frigate over to cuba with loaded with all of

10:05this oil donald trump's like all right you can come through you could come to

10:08cuba and look probably in addition to oil i mean just knowing what likely goes

10:13down in situations my guess would be russia's probably providing weapons and shahid drones and

10:18other things to cuba to protect itself and i just think back to like the

10:22cuban missile crisis and all of these things like in our history or like america

10:26working with allies like right now russia has a firm presence in cuba we've removed

10:31the sanctions against russia while russia is out there helping iran kill americans and target

10:36american military equipment during the war the russian duma members are meeting with mega republican

10:41congress members in the state department we're going to talk about all of this and

10:44more. I know it was a long freaking introduction, but if I didn't get through

10:48all of those points, I would regret it.

10:50So now I have no regrets.

10:51Oh, good. It's, uh, there's a lot going on.

10:53So you, you, you gotta get it all out.

10:55It's good to be here, Jordan.

10:57I'm glad you have no regrets.

10:58That's always good. You gotta start off the show with a clean slate, no regrets

11:02whatsoever. Donald Trump should have a lot of regrets because every decision that he has

11:07made has been a complete and utter disaster.

11:09And I'm sick of people pretending like it's anything other than that.

11:12You know, I, I saw a tweet earlier from Richard Stengel, the former undersecretary of

11:17state in the Obama administration.

11:19What he said really resonated with me.

11:21He said, Trump, he, Trump, he is repeating every foreign and domestic policy mistake the

11:28United States has made over the last five decades, but he is doing it with

11:32a gracelessness, cluelessness and corruption that has no precedent.

11:38And I think that sums it up perfectly right now.

11:41And it's one of those situations where Donald Trump's lies are just not working the

11:46same way that they used to work.

11:48And I've talked about this too months and months ago, before this was even a

11:52thing before this war with Iran was even a thing.

11:55Why? Because Donald Trump continuously falls into the same patterns, whether he's scamming people in

12:00his businesses or whether he's doing anything in the government, he does the same thing

12:05every single time. And so it wasn't exactly difficult to predict that he would spiral

12:10out like this. But eventually, as always, the truth catches up to you, just like

12:16any Ponzi schemer out there.

12:18Eventually you run out of money and you get caught.

12:20Donald Trump right now is at that moment in his presidency.

12:24And that's why he is losing even his own MAGA base right now.

12:28Even people who were supporters of Trump are furious about the situation, certainly not saying

12:33all of them, but a sizable enough portion of them that he should be very

12:37worried about his political prospects, the entire Republican party and his future as we head

12:44into the midterms. Now, as we see all of this, you're seeing Donald Trump just

12:49be like the world's worst negotiator imaginable, almost like negotiating with himself.

12:54One thing that I've noticed and seeing kind of Marco Rubio out there and Besant

13:00on the talk shows and things like that is their objectives of the war and

13:04their goals of the war continuously decrease.

13:07Remember like the first week, guys, their first week, they were like, Iran needs to

13:12unconditionally surrender, give up everything, give up your nukes, you're done, unconditional surrender, we will

13:19accept nothing less. And Iran like just hasn't even been like responding to these people.

13:23They've just been like trolling them.

13:24And you know, Donald Trump says, we won, we won, we won, which is the

13:27weakest negotiating position you could ever come from, just like making up negotiations.

13:31Then so they go from that.

13:33And then they go to like, okay, well, you keep, keep that stuff.

13:36But like, we won't leave until you get rid of your missiles.

13:38Okay. All right. And Iran's like, no, we're like, we're not going to do that.

13:40We actually need them more than ever now, because we know that you're like invading

13:43us. And now we've come to a point where I forget if it was the

13:47Washington Post or the New York Times, but one major publication, it might've been even

13:51a Wall Street Journal, described the main objective of the war as opening the Strait

13:56of Hormuz, which was open before the war started.

14:00That was a problem caused by Donald Trump.

14:02And even if it were to be fully opened tomorrow, the damage caused by its

14:08closure and the oil shortage across the world right now is already damaging enough to

14:14be absolutely devastating on the global economy and wreak havoc on the global economy.

14:20I know I went long there as well.

14:21So I'm going to pass it off to George.

14:23but we certainly have a whole lot to talk about.

14:25Jordi, what's the latest? It's the perfect case of the arsonist lighting the fire and

14:29then trying to put the fire out and then trying to demand praise for putting

14:33the fire out that they start.

14:35I mean, it's awful. What's up, brothers?

14:38What's up, Midas? This isn't a show about any of us here saying like, I

14:42told you so, right? That would be pointless and just a stupid show.

14:46It's a show about arming the viewers and listeners with the facts, the data, the

14:50receipts. Make the informed decisions on your own.

14:53We, of course, have opinions and we very clearly state those opinions.

14:57So when we're seeing the complete mishandling of the ongoing war in Iran and just

15:03seeing just the endless chaos, right?

15:06It's very easy for me to sit here and just constantly say it's going to

15:11get worse. And that's not me shooting from the hip or making some bold prediction.

15:16And I genuinely wish that this wasn't the case.

15:19It's just the decision that I've come to by listening, watching, reading the statements from

15:24Trump, the Trump regime, our former allies and everyone in between from seeing the chaos

15:30with my own eyes and the disturbing reports about us escalating our ground efforts in

15:36the coming days and sending our troops there to get injured and die even more.

15:40And the claims that are coming out of Trump is that we've already won.

15:44If we've already won, why are we escalating the war?

15:48Why are we sending more troops?

15:49Why aren't our troops coming home?

15:51So as I sit here today, I can, again, very clearly say like, it's going

15:56to get worse. MAGA's America first movement, America first, it's a complete sham, a complete

16:03farce. And our troops and our economy, they're the first ones paying the price here.

16:08The war in Iran is going to be hitting home so much harder than we

16:13could even really fully imagine.

16:14And it already is, right?

16:15Like, have you guys been to the gas pump recently?

16:17And I just, I refuse to sit here and not speak out against it.

16:21Brothers, I think you guys are actively speaking out against.

16:23And I just, I implore our entire audience to continue to take the information that

16:28we share in tonight's episode, share it with anyone and everyone that you can, and

16:32just expose the complete and utter buffoonery that the Trump regime is, is putting before

16:37us right now. It is, is not usual.

16:39It's not normal analogy that we made on the show weeks ago, if not months

16:43ago at this point, I think it's held up incredibly well because this right now,

16:48the moment we are in reminds me of that early COVID moment when we were

16:53trying to tell people like, this thing is going to get bad.

16:56I know Trump's saying 15 cases down to zero.

16:59I know that all these news agencies like running with those headlines.

17:02Well, Donald Trump says it's going to be gone by Easter folks.

17:05And we were like, why the hell are they doing that?

17:07And I remember this vividly because this was how we started Midas touch in this

17:11level of fear over the media saying one thing and us going, that's just not

17:15true. Okay. Someone needs to speak out about this crap.

17:18And now we're seeing history repeat and we're seeing history repeat in the same way

17:22in the fact, in the, in terms that Donald Trump cannot lie his way around

17:27a global pandemic and he cannot lie his way around the realities of war.

17:32And that's why though, I think we're very well equipped to report on this, having

17:38now accumulated six years of experience and doing certain things, good doing certain things that

17:45required improvement, doing certain things that required lots of improvement, but working on this every

17:51day to bring you the truth, to bring you the evidence.

17:55And so when a crisis of this scale and magnitude hits, it's like muscle memory

18:00and our ability. to kind of know, okay, here's how we need to present what's

18:04going on. And what you need to do to present the whole side of the

18:08story is, sure, I'm going to show the clips of what Donald Trump is saying,

18:13what Caroline Levitt is saying, and what the Trump regime is saying.

18:16But I'm also going to show you what they're saying in Europe.

18:19I'm also going to show you what the leaders are saying in Asia.

18:22I'm going to show you what they're saying in Mexico and Central America and South

18:26America. I'm going to show you what leaders are saying in Africa.

18:29I'm going to show you what they're saying in Ukraine, Europe.

18:33I'm going to show you what Putin is saying and what the statements are coming

18:37out of Russia. And I'm going to show you the statements that are being made

18:41in Iran and what their leadership is saying.

18:44Because the whole way that Trump and his regime and MAGA basically portray Iran is

18:51that they have no leaders.

18:53They've been decimated and obliterated.

18:55It's also portrayed through like a very racist lens that like we're not dealing with

19:01smart people and we're dealing with, I think Marco Rubio said, these are lunatics.

19:06These are crazy people. These are maniacs.

19:09And so it almost elicits an image of these like irrational, and I think the

19:15way they want to try to portray it because it's portrayed in like a racist

19:19way, almost kind of animalistic, not thinking through strategy when the reality is that couldn't

19:26be further from the truth.

19:28And when you see the statements being made by Iran, they have a clear plan,

19:32clear goals. They have a parliament that's functioning, that's debating issues and discussing things.

19:38They have this decentralized mosaic model of leadership where they have the kind of spiritual

19:44guidance and ultimately their supreme leader at the Ayatollah level, who's ultimately responsible for making

19:51all of the main decisions.

19:52Then they've got their Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

19:56Then they've got their kind of state police force and kind of local domestic enforcers.

20:01And then they're decentralized in ways where the whole command structure has all of its

20:07orders and all of its succession plans already in place.

20:10So when certain things happen, the reactions in a very systematized way are already pre

20:16-planned, whereas the Trump regime is reacting to Donald Trump's kind of caveman -like emotions

20:24and malignant narcissism. And that's one of the things we're playing out.

20:27Clearly, the American weaponry was the best in the world and is stronger, and we

20:32have bigger bombs and bigger missiles and all of these things.

20:36But these Iranian Shahid drones, these FPV drone swarms, the ballistic missiles, their cluster munitions,

20:44their ability to use cluster munitions in deceptive ways, both using actual kind of cluster

20:51munitions, but then also using kind of dummy firework style bombs to draw out the

20:59very expensive THAAD Patriot interceptor missiles, which cost millions of dollars to launch.

21:06It's a very actually detailed strategy that's being portrayed by Iran.

21:13I mean, you have this guy M .B.

21:15Ghalibbaf, who Donald Trump claims he's directly negotiating with.

21:19Ghalibbaf is basically the speaker of their parliament, the leader of their parliament.

21:24He's denied over and over again, we're not speaking with Trump, we're not speaking with

21:28the U .S. All of this is a lie.

21:30And he's out there saying, let me show you how America's manipulating their markets right

21:35now. He goes, heads up, pre -market so -called news or truth is often just

21:40to set up for profit taking.

21:41Basically, it's a reverse indicator.

21:43Do the opposite. If they pump it, short it.

21:45If they dump it, go long.

21:47See something tomorrow, you know the drill.

21:49And this was before Donald Trump tried to do just that and manipulate the market

21:54today. This guy, MB Galiboff, also posted 6D chess in response to somebody posting.

22:02So right now, Donald Trump's objective is to take control of the Strait of Hormuz

22:09or have Iran give up control, which Iran was not controlling before the war started.

22:15Well played, Donald. Well played.

22:17And MB Galiboff and all of the leadership in Iran understand that this is a

22:22war of attrition. And they're acutely aware of the American markets and the world global

22:29markets right now and the chokehold that they've created.

22:32Now, they've got to balance certain interests because they're allied with China.

22:37They're allied with Russia. They're allied now with India and Pakistan and some other countries

22:44as well. So they need to balance, of course, this global chokehold that they had

22:50and also making sure the energy crisis doesn't hurt their allies.

22:54So they're working with China.

22:56Two ships, for example, from China got through the Strait of Hormuz today, to which

23:00Iran mocked Donald Trump and the regime as well.

23:03And they said, this is like an official bulletin from Iran's press department.

23:08Like, you know, Donald Trump as Caroline Levitt, this IRIB said the following, Iran has

23:14responded positively to Donald Trump's threats.

23:17And we have reopened the Strait of Hormuz, though only for two Chinese oil tankers.

23:22Like they're mocking him at such a, you know, at such a stinging level, right?

23:29You know, then Donald Trump tries to take credit and say, they've released 20 additional

23:33ships because I've asked them to.

23:35And it's like the ships that are being sent to Pakistan that has nothing to

23:38do with the United States at all.

23:40And when you take credit for things that are not yours, Iran also recognizes how

23:44weak you look and how kind of pathetic it is.

23:47They go, wow, we've got him.

23:48Like these people don't know what the hell they're doing.

23:52They're panicking. And Iran says, OK, we can keep the pressure up.

23:57And we know that the longer we continue this, the more it hurts the United

24:01States economy and the more pain the U .S.

24:05will feel. I mean, if you look at the Treasury note yields, whether it's the

24:09two, the 10, the 20 or the 30, they're all surging to levels that are

24:14unsustainable. The price of oil right now, Brent crude, $114 per barrel.

24:20By the way, I want to live in a world where I don't have to

24:23know the distinction between Brent crude and WTI.

24:26In the Trump regime, you have to like learn things that like you just took

24:29for granted that there were experts who would just handle these things.

24:33But like, if you look at the price of oil generally, it's like $114 per

24:37barrel, which could be headed to $200 per barrel in no time, especially as the

24:43Houthis have now entered the war.

24:45And they've said, look, if things escalate, we're going to shut down the strait in

24:49the Red Sea, which would lead to basically both major kind of points where oil

24:54is shipped being shut down, which would be absolutely devastating.

24:58And then Caroline Leavitt held a press conference today, like a dueling press conference, right?

25:03She held the press conference at the White House while the version of her for

25:08Iran, Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson, he held a press conference.

25:13And he responded to questions about, you know, Donald Trump said, saying that we've been

25:18involved in these conversations and that we're involved with a much more kind of reasonable

25:23regime. This is Donald Trump's post in the morning.

25:26The United States of America is in serious discussion with a new and more reasonable

25:30regime to end our military operations in Iran.

25:33Great progress has been made, but if for any reason a deal is not shortly

25:37reached, which it probably will be, and if the Hormuzh trade is not immediately open

25:41for business, we will conclude our lovely stay in Iran by blowing up and completely

25:46obliterating all of their electronic generating plants, oil wells, and Karg Island, and possibly all

25:51desalinization plants, which we have purposefully not yet, quote, touched.

25:55This will be in retribution for our many soldiers and others.

25:58The Iran has butchered and killed over the regime's 47 -year reign of terror.

26:03Thank you for your attention to this matter.

26:05So Iran's embassy responds, let me correct you.

26:09The brave soldiers of Iran are hitting seriously the idiot, unreasonable regime of the USA.

26:15And then Iran's spokesperson held a press conference, and let's play what he said moments

26:20ago. We have had no direct negotiations with America so far.

26:26Since the last round of negotiations until now, the U .S.

26:33demands have been very excessive, unrealistic, and illogical.

26:38The meetings that Pakistan has with neighboring countries are, well, a framework they themselves have

26:46established. We have not participated in this framework.

26:50Can it be allowed that Iran and Iranians be in a position of confronting the

26:56illegal aggression of America and the Zionist regime to use the available capabilities on the

27:01soil of regional countries while our armed forces remain silent?

27:07The duty of every authority demands that it respond to such cases.

27:12Now, Brett and Geordie, I want to get your take on that.

27:14But for those listening on audio, he's speaking inside a room that frankly looks more

27:20advanced and more comfortable than the press room that's at the White House.

27:25So... And that was a translator speaking.

27:32However, though, to paint a picture for audio listeners, he's in a big, nice -looking

27:38kind of room. There are people, reporters who are taking notes.

27:42He's not like hiding in a cave or like running away from anything.

27:46Like, they're there in a room like that.

27:47And as he was there, Iran's parliament was deliberating a bill to impose fees on

27:53the Strait of Hormuz. And they took a vote.

27:56That was a foregone conclusion what the outcome was going to be.

27:59But they took a vote to approve a bill to levy fees on the Strait

28:04of Hormuz transit for about $2 million for any ship that passes.

28:09It imposes a toll system in rails.

28:11It bans the passage of U .S.

28:13and Israeli vessels through the strait, asserts Iran's sovereignty over the strategic waterway, bans any

28:19countries that imposes unilateral sanctions against Iran.

28:22And guess who's working with them?

28:24Oman. Oman is slated to help shape the legal framework.

28:29Remember Oman, the foreign minister who Trump picked as the mediator between the discussions between

28:35Trump and Iran? Trump picked this guy in Oman who said that they reached a

28:40deal in principle. And then that night, Donald Trump and Netanyahu bombed Iran after they

28:45said there was a deal.

28:45That's who's working with Iran to build a legal framework for Iran to control the

28:51Strait of Hormuz. So I just want, like, to me, that knowledge is important.

28:56You may not. I like that knowledge that may bug it.

28:58That's the truth about what's happening right now, though.

29:01For sure. And that's why anytime I see like these news headlines out there are

29:06just parroting what Donald Trump says, like when he said yesterday that, you know, they

29:11gave me a tribute, a beautiful gift.

29:13You know, he keeps saying this like every week now.

29:15It's like, we're on repeat.

29:16It's Groundhog Day, right? Donald Trump, they gave me a tribute, a beautiful tribute.

29:19They gave me a tribute.

29:20It's, you know, 20 ships passing.

29:23Immediately we were like, is he talking about the 20 Pakistani flagged ships that have

29:28nothing to do with the United States?

29:29And he was, but that didn't stop some publications.

29:32And by the way, I don't want to trash all their report.

29:34They've done a lot of incredible reporting, but I saw the New York Times run

29:36a headline on this that said something like, you know, Trump says, you know, he

29:41got 20 ships through the Strait of Hormuz.

29:43I'm like, why? Don't be a stenographer.

29:46Like, is that true or is it not true?

29:47As of now, that's certainly not true.

29:49You can't look at the situation right now and not see that.

29:53Obviously, the United States of America, Trump has gotten rid of the Ayatollah and some

29:59high up people in the Iranian regime, but it's tough to look at the situation

30:04right now and not see that Iran has actually kind of become more essential to

30:09the region and has kind of expanded as a world power as a result of

30:14Donald Trump's actions here, which is the complete opposite reaction you want when you're trying

30:19to destroy a regime. I mean, you can even look at just like the data

30:22like this. Iran is now earning, this is from The Economist, Iran is now earning

30:28nearly twice as much from oil sales each day as it did before American and

30:33Israeli bombs started falling on February 28th.

30:37It may be pummeled on the battlefield, but the regime is winning the energy war.

30:42And they understand that this energy war and the war of this economic battle that's

30:48playing right now is perhaps the single most important war that they could wage.

30:53It's asymmetrical warfare in that way because they have control over all these resources and

30:59all of these pathways for the resources to go through that affect not just the

31:03United States, but affect countries all over the world.

31:06And we're seeing now countries overseas are limiting the amount of gas and oil that

31:11people could use. Prices are skyrocketing everywhere.

31:15And all of this flows through the supply chain, goes through the wholesalers, through the

31:19supply chain, and it ends up in everyday goods that we all pay.

31:23It's frankly, probably the top driver in general of inflation.

31:27And we already saw inflation ticking up in the last inflation report, which was before

31:31the war began. Now we are, we're going to see in the future, this number

31:36just begin to go up and skyrocket.

31:38People are seeing it in their mortgage rates, which are now like nearing like 7%.

31:42Everything goes up when energy prices go up.

31:46And Donald Trump has caused this entirely by himself.

31:50One of the things that I think I noticed in the things that he's saying,

31:53you know, reading kind of between the lines of these deranged posts, for example, I'll

31:58pull up the post that Ben read this morning.

32:00I think when Donald Trump is bullshitting about, you know, he's, there's a new regime,

32:05a more reasonable regime. First off him and the people in the administration, they keep

32:11saying opposite things. So while Donald Trump was saying there's a new, more reasonable regime

32:15in charge, you had Marco Rubio on TV going, these people are psychopathic.

32:20These people are insane. You can't, you can't deal with these people.

32:23And even getting pressed by the reporters on that, wait, but did you know that

32:26Donald Trump just tweeted that these people are are reasonable and the things are going

32:30great. They're not on the same page because Trump's just lying.

32:33They're all just lying about everything.

32:34They're all just lying about everything.

32:35And the same thing. But I think in Trump's lies, reading between the lines, this

32:38is my opinion, I think that Donald Trump is hedging the entire thing, because I

32:42think he understands, even if he doesn't want to admit it, that this is not

32:46going well. And so Trump wants to try to figure out any way that he

32:52could kind of claim a victory throughout all of this.

32:55And so that's why you see regime change.

32:57Oh, we already did regime change.

32:58Mission accomplished, right? Oh, we blew their shit up.

33:02We destroyed them. They're completely obliterated.

33:04You did it. But it almost seems like he wants to kind of plant all

33:09these little seeds. So at some point, when things are getting really bad, he could

33:12be like, oh, we did it.

33:14Done. Mission accomplished. You know, have another George Bush moment, which he's had like, you

33:19know, basically every single day at this point.

33:21We've set out to do everything that we've already planned on doing.

33:23What are you talking about?

33:24This is a massive success.

33:25I mean, our leaders couldn't be more ill -equipped to guide us through this.

33:29Like, name me one person in the regime, in the Trump regime that you actually

33:32take seriously enough, who hasn't totally and utterly debased themselves, that you'd be like, okay,

33:38I'm confident that they'll guide us through this.

33:41When your ego meets reality, you get catastrophe, right?

33:44That's what we're seeing, especially with Trump.

33:46These oil prices are skyrocketing.

33:49Our troops are dying. I mean, it's pure chaos.

33:52And now, to our earlier point, what are they saying that the goal of this

33:56entire war is? It's to reopen the Strait of Hormuz?

33:58I mean, what do we even do?

34:00Ben, what are we even doing here?

34:02And my question to you is, do you see any light here at the end

34:06of this tunnel? Because for me, again, I just keep seeing this getting worse.

34:10No, there's no light at the end of the tunnel.

34:12And in fact, there's no comp.

34:13Brett, you mentioned George W.

34:16Bush or the neocons. I hear that.

34:20But there's no comp to it.

34:25Those people were still following a plan, a bad plan, a dastardly plan.

34:32But they were following a plan, not the whims of a psychotic, malignant, narcissistic maniac

34:39who's on Air Force One showing photos of Corinthian columns and talking about building underground

34:45bunkers and then giving a speech at a Miami financial conference and telling the people

34:50in the audience they could ask him about sex because he's open to be answering

34:55any questions or like telling reporters from state regime media like Dana Perino, remember when

35:01we had lunch together? Are you just as beautiful as the day I met?

35:05Like we're dealing with an actual maniac.

35:07Like we're not dealing with a neocon.

35:10That's like, you know, on the scale of like acidic to basic, you know, and

35:14let's just say neocons are the most, I don't know, is that a good example?

35:17But on a scale of one to 10, if like, you know, like a neocon

35:20is like a 10, we're on a different scale, okay?

35:24Donald Trump is a nuclear con.

35:26It's a con artist. It's a con job, right?

35:29The whole thing is one fugazi, all of it.

35:33And what Iran is saying is they recognize that this guy's all bluff, all bark.

35:39You know, he's now tapping into, you know, basically the way he had daddy bail

35:45him out his entire life when his casinos were going bankrupt.

35:49But then daddy couldn't even bankrupt him, right?

35:52The taxpayers and the American people, Donald Trump goes to destroy our lives.

35:57I need $200 billion. Let's take the special forces behind the scenes and in front

36:02of the scenes, there is massive panic taking place.

42:36it's just crazy. You can't trust any of the information coming out of the Trump

42:40regime right now. It is beyond anything in the realm of normalcy, what we're witnessing.

42:46That's a great point. I mean, the comp is Trump.

42:49What I should have said, Jordy, thanks for the correction, is there's no other comp

42:53outside of Donald Trump. And so it's a comp, and in many ways, even worse

42:59than I think the past Trump comp.

43:01But that's one of the reasons that I would always focus my reporting on Donald

43:06Trump's loser past, not his successful past, because he never had a successful past.

43:11He ran most of his companies into the ground and bankrupted them and screwed the

43:16contractors and screwed his creditors and screwed everybody.

43:19And he would basically kind of take their money.

43:22He would do well, and everybody else would get screwed.

43:24And he would go bankrupt, then he would do it again.

43:26He'd go bankrupt, then he would do it again.

43:28And he had this miraculous.

43:30And he had this miraculous.

43:30And I don't mean that in a positive way to continue to find new marks

43:35and con people and then develop the con and grow the con while his businesses

43:41and his all the other things that he touches failed.

43:44Even the things that he's tried to build while in office, right, which by all

43:49accounts should do well just based on your proximity to the office, like his social

43:55media platform and his meme coins and his Bitcoin, like all that stuff has not

44:02been successful. In fact, in most cases, they've been like utter, utter, utter grotesque failures.

44:08And so we're seeing that, Jordy, as the comp happen again right here.

44:13And again, when you look at his past and his comp, right, the fact that

44:17he was Epstein's close friend and that he covers up the Epstein files and that

44:22Mar -a -Lago was used as one of the grounds where Epstein recruited underage girls

44:27like Virginia Giuffre and, you know, Donald Trump being found liable for sexual assault and

44:32the Epstein class being predators on little girls.

44:35And if you think about all of that and then you go, OK, well, who

44:39is being targeted a lot by some of the initial strikes and continuing strikes by

44:43the United States in the war, right?

44:45A little girl school, right?

44:47So as they're covering up the Epstein files where little girls were the victims, they're

44:52in Iran killing little girls in elementary schools.

44:55We learned about another event on the first day of the war at a gymnasium

44:59in another area of Iran where dozens were killed, dozens of children were killed, which,

45:04again, by all accounts, seems to also be United States weapons who killed them there.

45:08BBC did a whole report on that, you know, which I covered.

45:13So the comp is you look at these people's past.

45:16I mean, you look at someone like a Hegseth, right?

45:18Hegseth wasn't able to run a nonprofit group successfully.

45:23He was pushed out because of his behavior and his failing and all of his

45:28personal disgusting things. He was pushed out of that.

45:31He's the guy who's leading the Defense Department.

45:34Like he's the guy who's, you know, in everything they talk about, we're going to

45:37loiter over Iran and rain down death.

45:41And even Donald Trump's post, you know, they're war crimes.

45:44Like what he's saying he's going to do, I might quote, what does he say

45:48in that post? He's like, you know, after our nice little trip, you know, we

45:53may just blow up the desalination facilities and the electrical grids and all of that

45:58and then say bye -bye.

46:00Like you're a sicko. Like those are actual war crimes.

46:03You're going to blow up the desalination facilities?

46:05What? And just kill the people who won't be able to access water?

46:08You're going to kill 90 million people?

46:10I mean, you're saying that.

46:11That's what it means. And Iran goes to its people.

46:14You see? You see what they're saying, right?

46:17I mean, when Donald Trump says, I'm going to blow up your electrical grids and

46:20all these things. I mean, what the U .S.

46:21and Israel target Tehran University.

46:24They blow up the schools.

46:26So then Iran responds and says to all of the American schools in Qatar, all

46:30right, we're bombing you next.

46:32And then the American schools get evacuated, right?

46:34The American military bases in the Middle East are evacuated.

46:38Did you know that, that 13 American military bases in the Middle East have been

46:42totally abandoned? Could you imagine if that happened under Biden?

46:4613 abandoned. All Donald Trump had to do was look at the way warfare was

46:51being fought in Ukraine and in Russia as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine,

46:56right? It was clear that in 2025 and 2026, the war of the future was

47:02drones, interceptor drones, FPV drone swarms, Iran Shaheeds, strategic ballistic.

47:09missiles. That's how these things were being fought.

47:11And so the U .S.

47:13was focused on its interceptors, like its THAAD and Patriot systems.

47:17Just think about this. Iran shoots fireworks into the sky, draws out 100 UAE interceptors,

47:26each one costing $2 to $5 million.

47:30Just say each interceptor is around $5 million, right?

47:34$500 million being spent shooting Iranian fireworks while then Iran works with one of its

47:41Shiite militia groups in Iraq, whether it's in the city of Erbil or they work

47:46with Hezbollah into Israel or they work with other Shiite groups, other militia groups in

47:53other locations. Give them the FPV drones and then do drone swarms and start blowing

47:58up other assets. And just think about it.

48:01If you've compelled the UAE to spend $500 million of interceptors and you drew out

48:07that weaponry, that's a win for you as well if you're Iran.

48:11The U .S. has depleted three to seven years or maybe nine years of its

48:16interceptor reserves. The U .S.

48:20has also went through a huge portion of its Tomahawk missiles at this point.

48:26The Israel's chief of staff of the IDF is saying we're on the verge of

48:31total collapse right now. Said it public.

48:33The IDF chief of staff said we're on the, our military is on the verge

48:37of collapse right now. And, you know, and you're seeing, and Iran's listening to this,

48:43no offense to me. Okay.

48:46And I mean this with, with, with respect as I'm about to insult myself.

48:51If I know these things, they know these things.

48:54Okay. If, if, if we're aware of these things, they're aware of these things as

48:59well. And it's clearly happening also in plain view and anybody can see it.

49:07You know, as I mentioned before the break, as I was saying, you know, these

49:10emolument clause violations, in case you're just confused, our constitution has something called the emolument

49:15clause, which, and there's also a bunch of bribery laws as well, which basically says

49:20you can't take gifts from foreign entities as quid pro quo.

49:22It's against the law. But Donald Trump using the Supreme court's ruling of absolute immunity

49:27says all of these things are for national security.

49:30And in our interest, the plane to Donald Trump, national security, the golden ballroom, national

49:35security, because Trump says I'm building a bunker underneath and it's a national security ballroom.

49:40Right. So that's what he invokes for everything.

49:42Cause he goes, well, I'll just get immunity.

49:43If I say it's all under my article two nationals, you know, I'm here to

49:49defend national security. But in any event, we have an emolument clause violation.

49:53We have a clause because, you know, we don't want people to take gifts from

49:58foreign nations. Why? Because you can then be compromised.

50:03So Donald Trump's taken personal gifts.

50:05I mean, in the form of investments, right.

50:08The UAE invested in world Liberty financial and Saudi Arabia's built Trump properties and Qatar's

50:14given Donald Trump jets. And all these countries have done those things.

50:17Why? Because they knew that they were doing pay for play quid pro quo.

50:21That was their goal and objective.

50:23So when you pay, the other side's got to play.

50:25When you do a quid pro quo, when you use that, you're supposed to give

50:30us a security umbrella. So why would Qatar give a $500 million plane?

50:34Well, if you're going to give us Patriot and Thad interceptors and protect us and

50:39do all of these things to the tune of billions and billions of dollars, that

50:42seems like a good investment for 500.

50:45We'll give this guy a stupid plane.

50:46He wants a stupid plane.

50:47He wants a stupid plane.

50:47give him a stupid plane.

50:48He's supposed to protect us.

50:50But then when you don't protect them, who becomes the victims?

50:54America, American troops. So one of the things that we're learning right now, and we

51:00probably knew this before even having to read about it, the Associated Press reports the

51:04United Arab Emirates, supported by Bahrain and Kuwait, is pushing hard for the U .S.

51:10president to order a ground invasion of Iran as officials from any Gulf allies of

51:15the United States, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE have conveyed in private

51:20conversations. They don't want the ongoing military operations to end until there are significant changes

51:26in the Iranian leadership or there's a dramatic shift in Iran's behavior, diplomatic officials told

51:33the Associated Press. And trust me, that diplomatic official is saying it very diplomatically.

51:38You better believe behind the scenes, shit is going down, right?

51:42There's no doubt that they are saying, you mother, you effer, we gave you all

51:49of these things. We can crush you.

51:51We'll break your businesses. You know your children.

51:54I'm telling you, they are obviously saying, you can't leave us after all of this.

51:59You're going to leave us?

52:00We'll go join Iran then.

52:01How about that? You want to do that?

52:03We'll join Iran and we'll join Russia.

52:05That'll be the alliance. And so they're doing that in response right now.

52:09And we'll talk a little bit about Russia soon and what they're doing.

52:13But by the way, during a press conference today, and we'll show maybe these clips

52:16in a little bit too, Caroline Levitt's like, I think that actually the Arab nations

52:20are going to have to pay for this war.

52:25Unless the objective, and it may be this, to really help Russia develop the strongest

52:30alliance ever, to really build the Russia -China alliance into the strongest power by, if

52:38that's the objective, okay, that's what you're doing because that's the result of all of

52:43this, right? Occam's razor, that's the outcome to all of this stuff.

52:49But I'll leave it to you to decide ultimately if that's the, because if that's

52:55the intent, they're executing on that plan for sure, Brett.

52:58Yeah, they'd be executing on that perfectly if that's the intent.

53:01And hey, it may be.

53:03But I think ultimately, this is one of the issues with having not even zero

53:07credibility, but negative credibility. Nobody takes you seriously.

53:11It's the issue with, like Ben said, violating the emoluments clause.

53:15It's the reason we have all of these rules, because you get leveraged very quickly.

53:19You're able to be pitted against basically your own country's interests.

53:25And the issue that we're running into right now is that truly Trump's only two

53:29moves right now are basically to cut bait and try to claim some BS victory

53:33and get out. Or alternatively, his other move is to escalate.

53:37And it seems like a lot of these forces right now are pushing him to

53:40escalate. It seems like his instincts are to continue to escalate.

53:44And obviously, that continues to put our troops in harm's way.

53:47It continues to risk lives abroad, at home.

53:50It continues to royal markets, keep the volatility going.

53:55And it's just his total inability to have any credibility has just been so damaging

54:01in the propaganda aspect of this war as well.

54:04Because Donald Trump's just been getting hammered day in and day out by the Iranian

54:10regime's propaganda. And the truth is, you want to be able to say, oh, it's

54:16like Baghdad Bob or something, and that it's bullshit, and that they're obviously lying, and

54:21they're making things up to smear the United States and the president.

54:24But a lot of these - It's just undeniable, the things that they're saying, because

54:28Donald Trump is the Baghdad Bob in this situation.

54:31Caroline Levitt is the Baghdad Bob in this situation.

54:33And you don't have to rely on Midas Touch on us to say that.

54:37There was even one of the senior editors of the Wall Street Journal making that

54:39exact point last week. I believe we read that to you.

54:43But that's why you get responses from Iran that look like this.

54:50But Caroline Levitt said earlier that we're on this four to six week estimated timeline.

54:58Remember, in the beginning, Donald Trump was like, it's going to take a few days.

55:01And then it gradually got longer and longer and longer.

55:04Caroline Levitt said, we're on day 30 today.

55:06So you do the math on how much longer the Pentagon needs to fully achieve

55:09its objectives. First of all, we still don't really know the objectives.

55:13The objectives are constantly shifting space.

55:16You are constantly moving the goalposts here on a whim with, and you're not even

55:21telling. Rubio says something different than Besant, says something different than Trump.

55:24And here you have that Iranian propaganda, the Islamic Republic of Iran broadcasting.

55:29They said, mocking Caroline Levitt saying, so the war will probably last another 10 years.

55:35Sorry, not war, operation. They're mocking Trump because he has no credibility here.

55:41Because Trump goes like the other day, right?

55:43We're at a war. Oh, I shouldn't say war.

55:45They don't like when I say war.

55:46It's an operation. If I said war, if I say war, I got to get

55:49approval for it because that would be unconstitutional.

55:52They say this stuff out loud.

55:53We see this comment from Mohammed Goluboff, the Speaker of Parliament, who recently posted this.

56:00This is about Trump's, the threats that we're seeing from the Trump administration.

56:05And Goluboff said, Iran's enemies pass off their wishes as, quote, news while simultaneously threatening

56:12our nation. They are dead wrong.

56:14If they strike once, they'll get hit several times back.

56:18The people of Iran, God willing, under the guidance of the supreme leader of the

56:22revolution, will make the enemy regret its actions and attain their rightful rights.

56:28So you could see here how Trump's statements, how Trump's escalations, how Trump's threats that

56:33we're going to commit war crimes against you.

56:36This is only emboldening them.

56:38And it's also allowing these people, who are by no means good people, the people,

56:42the Speaker of Iranian Parliament, to have kind of a moral upper hand here in

56:47the war as they speak to their people.

56:49And they say, you think we're bad?

56:51Donald Trump wants to starve you.

56:52Donald Trump wants you to not have water.

56:55Donald Trump is blowing up your buildings and blowing up your schools.

56:58It continues to make these threats.

57:00It's making it's it's putting us on a really bad path right now.

57:05And it's making the United States really just seem completely rudderless, looking like we have

57:11no idea what the hell we're doing.

57:13And I think it's kind of because we are right now and we don't know

57:17what the hell we're doing.

57:17It really feels like Trump's only move is escalation like that.

57:21I don't want it to be.

57:22I'm not hoping that's the case.

57:24In fact, I hope this resolves itself in the best way that it can.

57:27But it really seems like he has backed himself into a corner.

57:30And the only way for him to, I don't know, come out of this, quote

57:34unquote, a winner in his mind is to escalate, is to escalate and in his

57:39terms, annihilate like that. That's the framework of these MAGAs, especially Trump and the Trump

57:44regime. That's how he thinks he could win.

57:47And it shouldn't even be viewed in those terms.

57:50For me, it's the smugness of everyone in the Trump regime, Vance, Trump himself, Caroline

57:57Leavitt, in giving their responses to the press.

58:00Like, Brett, can you please bring up that Caroline Leavitt, the image that we showed

58:04before? want to read it one more time for our audio listeners and basically the

58:08gist of that as brett pulls that up is is the reporters ask her they

58:12said hey how how much longer right how much longer and she responds with something

58:16to the effect of we're on day 30 you know uh we said four to

58:20six weeks you can describe it i i got rid of it at this point

58:23no it's fine it's fine but that but that was essentially the gist of that

58:26we're on day 30 four to six weeks you do the math like that's that

58:29was her response to the reporter i think it's a pretty legitimate question right considering

58:32the fact that donald trump and folks in his cabinet have claimed that we've already

58:36won the war so okay how much longer sounds like she gave a definitive declaration

58:41of a time frame in my opinion four to six weeks we're on day 30

58:45you do the math reporter okay seven times six 42 we have 12 more days

58:50then and every single reporter should be holding her feet to the fire when we're

58:55not out of there in 12 days i i know it sounds arbitrary or whatnot

58:58but but to me it's it's that serious it's it's this constant smugness from everyone

59:04involved in trump's circle when the american people want answers especially answers to as serious

59:10as how long how much longer is this war going to go on how many

59:14more troops are going to have to die her response day 34 to six weeks

59:18you do the math ah it just it makes me want to scream that's just

59:23where i said there's no comp and jordy you corrected me and said the comp

59:28is kind of donald trump with those deranged press conferences during covid by easter we'll

59:33bend the curve the cases are going away like a miracle inject yourself with this

59:37and do that and you know and all of those things but we're used to

59:42in the past even if we disagreed with the president you know a president holding

59:47a speech with actual smart people you know and conveying the information and the data

59:53that even if there was some spin in there we would generally try to you

59:58know believe and that it was also um usually and you know with other presidents

1:00:03filled with compassion and actual patriotism and like leveling with the american people not always

1:00:10let me be very clear um but this is some next level like maniac dictator

1:00:16behavior right here where the thing that is also very scary about this is that

1:00:23because trump lies about everything and creates this uh information i wouldn't even say decay

1:00:31but just the destruction of information that the american people don't fully know what's coming

1:00:37and like when you see it the way we see it and you know where

1:00:43this is heading and you know what 2026 looks like 2027 looks like and perhaps

1:00:49even most frightening beyond what this is shaping up to be right and we'll talk

1:00:55a little bit about russia planting its flag even firmer in cuba i think about

1:01:00the cuba missile crisis and what a big deal that was when i when i

1:01:06grew up right and i mean i didn't grow up during the cuba missile crisis

1:01:09but as my parents taught me about it i would see movies about it you

1:01:13know and just the other day yesterday on sunday you know the russia ships like

1:01:18we're going through your blockade and trump's like come on through after him and after

1:01:23him and rubio and everyone were like nobody gets through and putin's like yeah i'm

1:01:27gonna get through right there and we're gonna deliver our supplies to cuba and then

1:01:31trump's like okay okay you can come in and then the press is like so

1:01:35can mexico come in and can colombia and other countries you know ones that were

1:01:40actually allied with the united states can can They help Cuba out?

1:01:44No, no, we're not going to let them happen.

1:01:46So just Putin on a case -by -case basis.

1:01:49So you're going to release the sanctions against Russia, invite the Russian Duma to the

1:01:54Capitol and the State Department while Russia supplies its weapons and information to Iran to

1:02:02help defeat the United States in the war.

1:02:04Then you're going to let their ship just go right through the blockade and then

1:02:08defeat the whole purpose of you doing it, which will, if anything, I mean, if

1:02:12you're saying you want regime change in Cuba or whatever the hell you're going to

1:02:15do, you think that makes sense to then allow Russia to work with Cuba?

1:02:20So is what you actually want in Cuba to basically be all of the things

1:02:27we were worried about in the Cuban Missile Crisis that was viewed as a positive

1:02:31that the US stood up to Russia back then, you're just going to let them

1:02:35take it over? Which, don't get me wrong, we already know that Cuba is funded

1:02:41by Russia, and all of the support.

1:02:42But like, you create this humanitarian crisis, which is horrible.

1:02:46You make the people suffer in Cuba, which is a crime against humanity, which I'm

1:02:51not supportive at all about anything in the way this Trump regime has treated Cuba.

1:02:55I think it's disgusting. But then at the end, you talk tough and then Russia

1:02:58just goes, we're coming in.

1:02:59We're going to be the heroes.

1:03:01We're going to be the one to save them.

1:03:02Okay, come on in. You can do that.

1:03:04What the hell is that?

1:03:05And it just makes you look utterly pathetic.

1:03:07You add all this stuff up.

1:08:58He goes, look. When I travel outside of Ukraine, I get daily intelligence updates online.

1:09:03This morning, I was briefed that U .S.

1:09:05military facilities in the Middle East and the Gulf region were photographed by Russian satellites

1:09:10in the interest of Iran.

1:09:11On March 24th, they imaged the U .S.-U .K.

1:09:14joint military facility on Diego Garcia.

1:09:17They also captured pictures of Kuwait International Airport, the infrastructure at the Greater Bergen Oil

1:09:23Airfield. On March 25th, they took pictures of the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi

1:09:28Arabia, the Sheba Oil and Gas Field in Saudi Arabia, an air base in Qatar

1:09:33and Turkey, all imaged on March 26th.

1:09:36There are no Ukrainian facilities on this list, but who is helping whom when sanctions

1:09:42are lifted from an aggressor that earns daily revenue and provides intelligence for strikes against

1:09:48American, Middle East, U .K.

1:09:49and U .S.-U .K. bases and so on?

1:09:52Listen to this line by Zelensky.

1:09:53When surveillance is carried out over facilities in Ukraine, we always understand that they must

1:10:01be protected since plans are in motion to destroy them, energy and water infrastructure, military

1:10:08facilities and so on. Everyone knows that repeated reconnaissance indicates preparations for strikes.

1:10:16How can sanctions be eased if this is what the Russians are doing?

1:10:21There must be pressure on the aggressor and lifting sanctions is certainly not pressure.

1:10:27It looks strange. Sanctions are being lifted while the aggressor is providing intelligence to strike

1:10:35facilities, including those of the countries that are discussing or have already lifted sanctions.

1:10:43He uses that word particularly, that looks strange.

1:10:48And what he's saying is, in my opinion, like that looks like you're working to

1:10:55hurt your own military. It's the only logical explanation when you lift the sanctions and

1:11:01reward the party that is working with the country you're in war against.

1:11:06You're literally like, could you imagine in World War II if you had FDR or

1:11:13Truman go, you know what?

1:11:15We're going to lift some sanctions on Germany?

1:11:17How could we help Germany make more money in World War II, right?

1:11:20That's, we're going to help Hitler and Mussolini.

1:11:24We're going to really work with them right now because we're doing jujitsu on them,

1:11:29right? That's what Treasury Secretary Scott Besson says.

1:11:31That's why Zelensky says, it looks strange.

1:11:34Like, what the hell are you doing?

1:11:36Zelensky also took a tour.

1:11:38He met in Kuwait. He met in United Arab Emirates, in Qatar and Saudi Arabia

1:11:46and did deals with all of them to provide Ukrainian interceptor drones, Ukrainian drones, other

1:11:54technologies. And the message being sent, whether it's directly or indirectly, is that, think about

1:12:02it. The American security umbrella ain't working.

1:12:06The Ukrainian security umbrella is needed, right?

1:12:10That's the message that's being sent.

1:12:13And while all of that's taking place, as I mentioned before the break, you had

1:12:17Russian Duma members, photographs of them with MAGA Republican Congress members.

1:12:22During the war in Iran where Russia's helping Iran, you have MAGA Republican Congress members

1:12:27and MAGA State Department officials having the Russian Duma sanctioned Russian Duma members over to

1:12:34the United States, greeting them like heroes, while Donald Trump is Donald Trump still attacks

1:12:39Zelensky and still attacks Ukraine and still takes Russia's side throughout all of this.

1:12:45Think about that. We've done a good job not showing clips on this one because

1:12:51I don't want to hear Donald Trump's voice, frankly, on this episode.

1:12:54But let's hear just for a second.

1:12:56Bear with me. This is the photo for those on audio.

1:13:00It's of MAGA Republican Congress members with the top Russian Duma members.

1:13:04They're taking photos. They're posting it.

1:13:07They're bragging about it. And they're like, well, we're doing peace.

1:13:11Russia is trying to kill America.

1:13:13What are you talking about?

1:13:14You're doing peace. Are you the dumbest people ever?

1:13:17What are you doing? You know, if that's truly what you think is happening, that

1:13:21you're doing peace talks, then you're the dumbest people ever.

1:13:24Unless the explanation is that you want to actually help Russia destroy American military bases

1:13:31with Iran and kill Americans because that's what they're batching.

1:13:33And Ben, I don't even think this part got enough attention that Anna Paulina Luna,

1:13:37who is in there, she's a Congresswoman.

1:13:39Not only did they meet, but Anna Paulina Luna gave these sanctioned Russian officials a

1:13:45tour of the United States Capitol the other day.

1:13:48She personally gave them the tour.

1:13:50A VIP tour. A VIP tour that she personally gave them through the United States

1:13:54Capitol. Speaking about like, you know, in the past, you had to use a Trojan

1:13:59horse to get the enemies in the building.

1:14:02Here, you got memory, Republican members of Congress just going, walk right in.

1:14:05It's all yours. Sanctioned Russian members, sanctioned Russian officials.

1:14:09It's like, it's like treasonous, honestly.

1:14:12It's, that's my, you know, in my opinion.

1:14:14Yeah. I mean, and that's why with all this, you know, how like Iran has

1:14:19their cluster munitions, right? With Trump's cluster munitions of disinformation and distraction.

1:14:26And there's so much news everywhere.

1:14:28It's like, they invite, what more do you need me to say?

1:14:31Russia, Russia, Russia. Yeah. They, I know when Trump says that people are like afraid,

1:14:36Ooh, we cover that he's going to sue us because Russia, they invited the Russians

1:14:40over. They let the Russians through their so -called blockade.

1:14:44They removed the sanctions against the Russians.

1:14:48They know that the Russians are giving surveillance to Iran to strike American military bases.

1:14:54So successfully, they're able to target the crown jewel of our air force and our

1:14:59strato tankers and all of these, and all of these things.

1:15:03And Donald Trump still takes Putin's side over Zelensky with all of this.

1:15:08And it's like, it's as simple as that.

1:15:10Just that's what's happening. I'm not even, I'm not sharing with you my opinion.

1:15:13I'm just telling you the facts of what's actually happening.

1:15:16Caroline Levitt held a press conference today.

1:15:19And one of the members of the press asked her and they said, Hey, so

1:15:23the president insists he's negotiating with Iran and that they've agreed to his 15 points.

1:15:29They disagree with it. So what do you say when Iran's people say that this

1:15:34is not happening at all?

1:15:35What's your response, Caroline? Here, play this clip.

1:15:38Just to follow up, because Americans are sort of seeing these conflicting messages between the

1:15:41United States and Iran. I know the president insists that negotiations are underway.

1:15:46As you just mentioned, he's also said that Iran has agreed to most of the

1:15:4915 points. We just heard from Iran again, they're saying no negotiations are taking place.

1:15:54They're calling the proposal excessive, unrealistic.

1:15:57So how do you square that?

1:15:59What is, how do you explain that discrepancy between the two?

1:16:02I think the American people are smart enough not to take the word of a

1:16:05terrorist regime that has chanted death to America for 47 years at their word.

1:16:10And I hope the journalists in this room are wise enough not to take an

1:16:14Iranian regime that is repeatedly lied.

1:16:16about our country, about our values, about everyone in this room, frankly, for nearly five

1:16:22decades. So I think the American public are smart enough to understand that.

1:16:26Who controls the Strait of Hormuz right now?

1:16:31Does Iran continue to shoot ballistic missiles, Shahid drones, drone swarms at its Arab nation

1:16:39neighbors where there are American military interests in response to the United States and Israel

1:16:45strikes in Iran and Iran issues evacuation orders to the areas that it's going to

1:16:51strike, then strikes those areas with a degree of frequency.

1:16:55Is Iran doing that while you claim their military has been totally obliterated?

1:17:01Is their parliament meeting on a regular basis?

1:17:05Are these pro -democracy protesters out on the street demanding regime change in Iran like

1:17:13you promised was going to take place in the first 48 hours?

1:17:17And that was beginning to happen in January until you betrayed everybody, all the protesters

1:17:22and threw them under the bus and didn't even have assets in the areas and

1:17:25told them to protest and got a lot of them killed.

1:17:29I can observe what's happening out there.

1:17:32Have our equipment, has our equipment been destroyed in many of these military bases?

1:17:38Every night do I see Iran continuing to rain ballistic missiles, cluster munitions into Iran?

1:17:45Have the Houthis joined the war right now?

1:17:49You know, I can evaluate what's actually happening.

1:17:53And I understand in a war there's propaganda here and there's propaganda there, but I

1:17:58can tell you what's actually happening on the ground.

1:18:00And not calling the kettle black, right?

1:18:03It's like, well, look, I've seen, they've lied so many times.

1:18:07The Trump regime has consistently, their word is zero.

1:18:12And now you have the foreign minister of Oman, who was the handpicked mediator by

1:18:17the US working with Iran to help them build their toll plan in order to

1:18:23control the Strait of Hormuz.

1:18:25That's one of the things that's happening.

1:18:27So then she's also asked, who's paying for the cost of this war?

1:18:31Caroline will the Arab countries step up the Arab countries who have stepped up to

1:18:39pay for America's security umbrella only for America to go to war with Israel against

1:18:45Iran without consulting the Arab nations.

1:18:48Who's going to pay for this war?

1:18:54Two questions regarding the financial cost of the war.

1:18:57Back during the Persian Gulf War, 1990, 1991, Arab countries paid for the vast majority

1:19:03of the cost of the war, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE.

1:19:07Who's paying for the cost of this war?

1:19:10Will those Arab countries step up to do just that?

1:19:13Well, I think it's something the president would be quite interested in calling them to

1:19:17do. I won't get ahead of him on that, but certainly it's an idea that

1:19:21I know that he has and something that I think you'll hear more from him

1:19:25on. Right after Mexico pays for the wall, the Arab countries are going to pay

1:19:29for Trump and Israel's war.

1:19:31That's what's exactly what's going to happen.

1:19:34Imagine just having the gall to start a war without even consulting anybody, cause damage

1:19:43and terror to countries. Let's be real.

1:19:46They're paying the price for this war right now.

1:19:49Their countries are getting bombed for helping the United States and then demanding or asking

1:19:54or hoping. that they pay your bills it's like the whole thing is so perverse

1:19:59they have no shame that's trump's past jordy exactly they have no shame they have

1:20:05no this and they have no shame they are kidding themselves and they are incredibly

1:20:09smug every step of the way it is absolutely pathetic it is just i that

1:20:15is just the baseline word that like i that just they are pathetic individuals all

1:20:19of them and it just so happens that these specific pathetic individuals are the top

1:20:24leaders quote -unquote leaders in our government at this time and they are bringing all

1:20:28of us collectively down with them and i just want to pull my freaking hair

1:20:33out watching all of this ah again ah it's like i i'm audibly screaming throughout

1:20:38this episode because that's just the that's the emotion that's coming out of me right

1:20:54oil to cuba and not other nations right you said that you were embargoing cuba

1:20:59there was an executive order that says anybody who dare bring oil into cuba will

1:21:05face the wrath of the united states you and rubio have said over and over

1:21:10again the goal is to basically starve cuba which in my view is a crime

1:21:14against humanity as well um but now you let russia in what what what's the

1:21:21end game of this like why why if you were going to let countries in

1:21:23why not let allies of the united states and deliver it in order to you

1:21:30know maybe encourage better relations with cuba you know even though i think they realize

1:21:34that you're the one starving them but what why not we give aid or or

1:21:38why not allow mexico to give aid or colombia like they tried to when you

1:21:42stop them from doing it play the clip i'll take a few more thank you

1:21:47um you listed the described uh humanitarian reasons um for allowing that oil tanker to

1:21:54reach cuba um just to clarify why was the administration okay with russia sending that

1:22:01oil to cuba and not other nations look it was a decision it'll continue to

1:22:05be made on a case by case basis for humanitarian reasons or otherwise but there's

1:22:09been no firm change in our sanctions policy president shine bomb of mexico also said

1:22:14that mexico is exploring different ways to restart some of those shipments to cuba is

1:22:19the administration okay with that at this time again no change in our sanction policy

1:22:23we still reserve the right to to seize vessels if it's legally applicable that are

1:22:27headed towards cuba and not violate the united states sanctioned policy but of course the

1:22:31president and the administration also reserve the right um to waive those those uh seizures

1:22:36on a case by case basis clarify just any more russian oil tankers going to

1:22:41be allowed to reach cuba at this time i know you say case by case

1:22:44but for the case of russia is it pretty much green light right now no

1:22:47that's not what i said case by case basis vicious a vicious lie i mean

1:22:52just when you watch that if you don't cringe if that doesn't make you angry

1:22:59go what the hell is this well then i guess you're in the 33 to

1:23:04support donald trump i mean his approval dropped in the latest umass amherst you gov

1:23:09poll to 33 i mean i think it will be in the 20s soon net

1:23:14negative 25 on immigration net negative 31 on jobs negative 36 on tariffs negative 47

1:23:20on inflation and this number is going to continue to go lower it'll be it'll

1:23:24be in the 20s soon but how you watch that gold that gold that makes

1:23:30sense to me all of the lie All of the attack on allies, all of

1:23:36the trade wars against the world, all of the gutting of the government and the

1:23:41State Department, all of that, right, created the perfect foundation, if you will, and it's

1:23:48screwed up to say it this way, that when he instigated this disastrous war in

1:23:52Iran for it just all to break.

1:23:54The ticking time, like you couldn't have set in motion a more catastrophic way to

1:24:05approach everything that's been built in America.

1:24:08And the part that is tough for me in the moment when I report on

1:24:14what's happening day to day, even when things are grim and horrible and tragic, it's,

1:24:22you know, I don't want to say it's easy, but like, you know, you're in

1:24:25the, you're in the game, you know, you're, you're, you're, you're, you're focused, right?

1:24:29You're, you're just doing it muscle, muscle memory takes over and you're reporting on what's

1:24:34happening. The, the difficult part is when you study it the way we all do

1:24:40and you see what's coming in the future, the way I was warning about this

1:24:46then in 20, you know, and then when people are like, oh, you're being hyperbolic.

1:24:51That's not going to happen.

1:24:52Look at the headline, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

1:24:54And it's like, really, really after, after all of these things happening, and again, not

1:25:00because I'm a great predictor, because I'm just listening and watching and observing what's happening.

1:25:05Not because there's some Notre Dame's future predictions.

1:25:08What do you mean all hell breaks loose, Ben?

1:25:10Are you watching the news?

1:25:12Are you watching what's going on?

1:25:14Hell is breaking loose. If you don't think this is hell breaking loose, then there's

1:25:17no terminology for that in general.

1:25:19Like, like then there, there, there, there isn't because this is the depths of depravity

1:25:26of, of, of, of anti -American, you know, this whole thing is taking America down.

1:25:34Not, and I'm not trying to scare people.

1:25:36It's just what is happening every single day.

1:25:39Two points, Brett and Jordan, and I'll throw it to you.

1:25:41Shout out, no Kings protest over 8 million.

1:25:43I think the number was closer to 9 million.

1:25:45Midas touch, Midas touch, distributed footage again, you know, the whole day we did coverage.

1:25:50It's always been a priority of us to do that.

1:25:52Then at the beginning, I talked about Congress abandoning the ship, right?

1:25:57While all of this is going with everything I'm talking about happening, MAGA Republicans gaveled

1:26:01out. They're on a two week vacation right now.

1:26:03It's not some both sides, you know, oh, everybody left.

1:26:07Okay. Democrats have tried to fund TSA over and over and over again, nine times.

1:26:11Okay. Finally, the Senate agreed.

1:26:13And then the house said, nope, we're going to block that.

1:26:15So Donald Trump did an unlawful executive order funding the TSA.

1:26:19No, one's really going to challenge that.

1:26:20It's unlawful because we want the TSA to be funded, but it's not a lawful

1:26:23order. You can't do it by executive order, but we all want the TSA to

1:26:26be funded. So it's like, all right, just let the TSA be funded, which Trump

1:26:29should have done from the outset.

1:26:30But regardless, you know, it's like the Republicans did it.

1:26:34I'm not saying that because like, oh, I don't like the Republicans.

1:26:36So they did it. They want ICE to be able to wear masks and torture

1:26:41people and not do warrants.

1:26:43And Democrats are like, you've got your money, ICE.

1:26:45We don't need to give you more.

1:26:46We do want to fund TSA and FEMA and all the other things.

1:26:50And the Republicans are like, nope, unless you let us do the ICE torture part,

1:26:54then we're not going to do it.

1:26:55And can we add just bullying transgender people into this?

1:26:59And it's like, what does that have to do with anything?

1:27:00Oh, just let's bully transgender people.

1:27:03Let's throw that in there.

1:27:04And it's like, okay, y 'all are a bunch of morons and you're evil and

1:27:09you're just, and you're causing this.

1:27:12It's so obvious. I wanted to point it out at the end of the episode.

1:27:17Yeah, well said. And I just want to give a shout out to the No

1:27:20Kings folks as well. You know, everybody who, whether you were on the ground, you

1:27:24know, in your city, in your town, whether you were watching our stream at home,

1:27:29whether you were in bed or retweeting content or reposting content and sharing content, whatever

1:27:36your role was, I want to thank you for being out there.

1:27:39I do think those No Kings rallies are so important.

1:27:43And I think they're also crucial because they are a check on this Trump regime's

1:27:50unhinged propaganda, because they rely on their lies and media outlets and their influencers to

1:27:59regurgitate their lies. One of their biggest lies are that, you know, they are this

1:28:04big movement that is unstoppable and that there are no, there's nobody out there who

1:28:09challenges this. Everybody loves it.

1:28:12You had Trump. I won't play the clip, but the other day on the plane,

1:28:14Trump called all Democrats terrorists.

1:28:18Like how screwed up, how offensive is that?

1:28:20And do you remember the news cycle?

1:28:22I'm sure you do. When Hillary Clinton referred to a small portion of Trump voters

1:28:28as a basket of deplorables.

1:28:30And that was like every day, every, they still talk about it to this day.

1:28:34Donald Trump. And she was right by the way.

1:28:36She was so, Hillary was right.

1:28:39She could have, she should have and could have went further.

1:28:42Donald Trump calls Democrats terrorists.

1:28:44Doesn't even make like a headline.

1:28:46Just think about that. But when you have people out there, when you have patriotic

1:28:50people, people who love this country, people who love their families, getting out, taking streets,

1:28:56peacefully protesting, delivering, rousing, inspiring speeches, speaking to all of the things that a majority

1:29:03of Americans care about. It neutralizes all of that line of attack from the Trump

1:29:08regime. And it also shows that there are more of us than there are of

1:29:11them. And it shows a strength in numbers.

1:29:15And let's be real, we're heading towards a midterm year.

1:29:18And I think it acts to excite people and say, listen, they are going to

1:29:21try to throw whatever they can at us this time.

1:29:24And we know that, but we have all of these people behind us who are

1:29:28going to do everything that we can to ensure that that does not happen.

1:29:32I think that's powerful. I think that's powerful.

1:29:34And I love the images.

1:29:43Pittsburgh had an unbelievable turnout.

1:29:45I mean, I was expecting it, but like when you're actually there and in person,

1:29:48you just see everyone. And to be - Hold on, question, question.

1:29:52Were you trying to look exactly like the guy with a sign meme?

1:29:56You know, you guys know that meme?

1:29:57Because you look like, now I can write anything on your sign.

1:30:03You've given me a tool now.

1:30:05It's possible. But dude, I'm serious.

1:30:08I'm not just saying this.

1:30:09The energy there was so incredible.

1:30:11And to your point exactly, Brett, it was like this whole mentality of strength in

1:30:15numbers to its core, to like the very essence of it.

1:30:18Because I saw signs about everything.

1:30:20I saw signs around the Epstein files, releasing the Epstein files, to affordability, to getting

1:30:26ice the heck out of power.

1:30:27It was really incredible to see.

1:30:30And what were the motivating factors for people to get down there?

1:30:33And it was all, again, around this central ethos of pro -democracy, bringing people together,

1:30:39bringing the energy that we're going to need every step of the way to take

1:30:43back our country in a peaceful, peaceful, yet energized way.

1:30:47So it was shout out everyone at the No Kings in Pittsburgh.

1:30:50Shout out - To everyone at No Kings across the country or across the world,

1:30:54y 'all are the greatest.

1:30:55Like, no, no, no ends if buts about it.

1:30:58Like, it was, it was, it was awesome.
