2:09I can't wait for you to listen to season six of the Tell Me What
2:13Happened podcast, out now. All hell is breaking loose as Donald Trump's bluff was called
2:19in front of the entire world by Putin.
2:23And perhaps it wasn't just his bluff being called.
2:26Perhaps it was just exposing Donald Trump yet again being a Putin bootlicker during the
2:33war against Iran and in all matters relating to foreign policy.
2:39So Donald Trump was given a choice as Russia was sending its ships over to
2:45Cuba loaded with crude oil to help Cuba.
2:48Donald Trump and his regime claimed they had a blockade around Cuba and that anyone
2:54who would deliver aid or crude oil or material assistance to Cuba would face massive
3:02tariffs or would be turned away by the U .S.
3:06blockade around Cuba. Donald Trump threatened Mexico and other countries with severe sanctions if they
3:14dare help Cuba. But then came Vladimir Putin after the Trump regime removed sanctions against
3:22Russian oil during the war against Iran as Russia provides material assistance to Iran in
3:30terms of weapons and logistics to kill, hunt, and destroy American military members as well
3:38as American military assets. Donald Trump just says, hey, Vladimir Putin, we will remove all
3:44sanctions against your Russian oil and allow you to make billions of dollars during the
3:50war as a reward for targeting United States soldiers and military assets.
3:55Oh, and by the way, Vladimir Putin, you want to send your senior leadership from
4:00the Russian Duma, basically their Senate, to visit the United States Congress and meet with
4:06MAGA Republican Congress members and our State Department and send them our way.
4:10The Russian Duma leaders showed up at the end of last week.
4:15And then Vladimir Putin sent ships filled with crude oil to go to Cuba.
4:21And Donald Trump's like, blockade?
4:23What blockade? I barely knew a blockade.
4:27And Vladimir Putin was able to bring the crude oil and other material assistance to
4:34Cuba, essentially defeating the entire purpose of everything that Donald Trump and Marco Rubio have
4:40been saying for some time.
4:41Now, look, the intentional suffering and starvation of Cuba, in my opinion, is a crime
4:49against humanity. It's a horrible thing.
4:52And I think that the Trump strategy in general with this blockade was horrific.
4:57And that's not the way you go about things.
5:00And then, well, nothing the way Donald Trump is how you go about things.
5:03And it was part of another war that Donald Trump wanted to launch against another
5:08nation, this time Cuba. But being so utterly weak and obsessed.
5:11aqueous to Russia and allowing Russia to come in and now firmly planting the Russian
5:18flag in Cuba in such a power move that makes the United States look so
5:24weak. It is utterly despicable.
5:26So you just have to add up all of these facts, you know, and, you
5:30know, President Zelensky of Ukraine put out a message I'll read a little bit later
5:34in this video over the weekend where he was like the behavior by entities that
5:40remove sanctions against a nation that is then targeting your nation and killing your troops
5:47and destroying your military assets.
5:50That's pretty strange behavior is what Zelensky said.
5:54And strange was kind of code word in my opinion for saying kind of traitorous
5:59and treasonous behavior. Again, I'm just giving an opinion protected by the first amendment of
6:03the United States Constitution. Let me just bring some facts and receipts for us now.
6:08So back on January 30th, 2026, Donald Trump and the White House posted the following.
6:15Yesterday, Trump signed an executive order declaring a national emergency and establishing a process to
6:23impose tariffs on goods for countries that sell or otherwise provide oil to Cuba.
6:30Trump signs executive order to address threats by Cuba threats by Cuba.
6:35That's what Trump called it.
6:37January 30th, 2026. As Wyatt Reed explains in January, Trump signed executive order one, four,
6:45three, eight, zero, placing harsh tariffs on any country caught directly or indirectly supplying oil
6:51to Cuba. In February, when a Greek flag tanker tried to bring 80 ,000 barrels
6:57from Columbia to Cuba, the U S coast guard intercepted it, forcing the ship to
7:02sail to the Dominican Republic.
7:04In March, when the U S sought to stabilize oil prices after starting a war
7:10with Iran, OFAC, that's the department within the treasury responsible for lifting sanctions or imposing
7:18sanctions issued waivers for Russian crude.
7:22As Russian tankers approached the island, the U S placed Cuba on a tiny list
7:27of countries. It said we're still not allowed to buy Russian oil.
7:33Two ships, which were in route changed course purportedly under pressure, but then something happened
7:40where the ships were allowed in and we'll go and talk about what went down.
7:45So what we learned yesterday, U S to allow Russian oil tanker to reach Cuba,
7:51breaking the blockade. The tanker full of crude oil will reach its expected destination by
7:57Tuesday, providing a lifeline to the island amid intense U S pressure.
8:02The United States coast guard is allowing a Russian tanker full of crude oil to
8:08reach Cuba, delivering a critical supply of energy to the island nation.
8:12After months of an effective oil blockade by the Trump regime, according to us officials
8:18briefed on the matter, the New York times writes the tanker, which is carrying an
8:22estimated 730 ,000 barrels of oil is owned by the Russian government was less than
8:2815 miles from Cuban territorial waters on Sunday afternoon.
8:32According to Marine traffic, a ship data provider at its speed of 12 knots, the
8:37ship was expected to enter Cuban waters by Sunday evening.
8:40The tanker could reach its expected destination in Montanzaz, Cuba by Tuesday.
8:45The Russian ship's arrival would shift the trajectory of a rapidly accelerating crisis in Cuba,
8:52buying the island nation at least a few weeks before its fuel reserves run out.
8:56Analysts said it would also reduce pressure on the Cuban government facing looming economic collapse
9:02and escalating threats from Washington and show that at least for now, an island can
9:07still depend on its longtime ally, Russia.
9:10The Trump regime had been enforcing what amounted to an oil blockade around Cuba since
9:15January, threatening nations that had been sending fuel to the country.
9:20And in one case, escorting a tanker headed toward Cuba away from the island.
9:25The Coast Guard has two cutters in the region that could have attempted to intercept
9:29the Russian tanker. Yet the Trump regime did not order those vessels to act according
9:34to a U .S. official briefed on the matter who spoke on the condition of
9:37anonymity to discuss operations. Barring orders instructing it otherwise, the Coast Guard planned to let
9:44the tanker reach Cuba as of Sunday afternoon, the official said.
9:48It was unclear why the White House did not issue orders to block the tanker
9:53or whether it would allow future Russian oil shipments to reach the island.
9:57The decision avoids a potential thorny confrontation with Russia just off the coast of Florida.
10:03The Coast Guard referred questions to the White House, which did not respond to a
10:07request for comment. Russian and Cuban officials also did not respond.
10:11The oil blockade has been choking Cuba, leading to daily blackouts, severe gas shortages, soaring
10:17prices and deteriorating medical care.
10:19The policy has attracted international criticism, including from the U .N., that the United States
10:24is causing a humanitarian crisis in Cuba.
10:28Also, the Foreign Minister of Cuba said in response to Donald Trump's threats that there
10:33could be an invasion of Cuba soon.
10:36Cuba responded by saying, we are prepared militarily as well in order to be able
10:41to fight the US. And we're seeing what's happening in Iran and we're ready to
10:47go. So here's the thing.
10:49My own view that this blockade was a crime against humanity.
10:53I'm not supportive of the blockade.
10:56I think it's not the right way to approach anything that's going on in Cuba,
11:00right? I mean, we can have very strong feelings about these successors to the Castro
11:05regime and what they've done to the Cuban people.
11:09And we can listen to strongly what the Cuban people here in the United States
11:13are saying, but we should always have a foreign policy that is rooted.
11:18It's still in humanity and figuring out through diplomacy, the right types of approaches.
11:24That's kind of my overall view of thing and I'm understanding it, but that's my
11:29general view of things. But if you're going to do a blockade and you're going
11:32to say no one can get in and we're blocking this and this is showing
11:36the US strength, right? And then Russia sends its two ships and then another ship
11:42and says, all right, we're going to go and deliver this oil.
11:44And then the US is like, okay, well, we're not going to do anything.
11:47You can come on in and you can then defeat the entire purpose of everything
11:52we've been saying to every other nation.
11:54We've attacked this nation, that nation.
11:56Donald Trump said, all these nations that wanted to help, we'll go after you.
12:00It's like declaring war. Putin goes, do, do, do, do, do, I'm Vladimir Putin.
12:04I'm heading over to Cuba and Donald Trump's like, welcome, welcome to Cuba, right off
12:09the shore of Florida. Why don't you come in?
12:11Now, if you also don't believe that Vladimir Putin is also helping give Cuba weapons
12:18right now, in my opinion, you are very naive.
12:22You don't think that they're bringing Shahid drones and other weapons.
12:26How do we know? How do we not know?
12:28At the end of the day, what Trump did there was again, extra, extra weak.
12:32I mean, as Jose Diaz -Baseno explains, two months after signing an executive order threatening
12:38Mexico and all these countries with tariffs, if they sent oil to Cuba, Trump says
12:43he's got no problem now at all with Russia doing so.
12:47Come on in, Russia. Happy to do it.
12:49So Donald Trump was aboard Air Force One and he was asked, there's a report
12:53that the US is going to let a Russian oil tanker go to Cuba.
12:57And Trump's like, yeah, what's wrong with that?
12:59If a country wants to send some oil into Cuba, let them send some oil
13:03into Cuba. Watch what Donald Trump says here, because Russia applied the most basic pressure
13:10to him of all. Russia's went, all right, we're going there, Donald.
13:12He's like, come on in.
13:13Come on in, Putin. We're going to remove the sanctions against you for your oil.
13:18Let you make billions of dollars a day.
13:20Help arm Iran, give Iran logistics to attack the US.
13:24I mean, destroy our most valuable crown jewels in the Air Force bases and military
13:31bases in the Middle East.
13:32The United States has had to evacuate 13 of its top military bases in the
13:37Middle East because the effectiveness of Iranian FPV drone, Shahi drones, ballistic missiles that are
13:43being materially assisted by Russia.
13:45Russia keeps sending stuff through the Caspian Sea and otherwise.
13:48Trump's like, yeah, cool. They want to party right off the coast of Florida.
13:53Let them in. Let them in.
13:55Here, let's play this clip of Donald Trump on Air Force One.
13:58There's a report that the US is going to let a Russian oil tanker go
14:02to Cuba. Is that true?
14:03We have a tanker out there.
14:04We don't mind having somebody get a boatload because they need, they have to survive.
14:09It wouldn't bother me. The report is true, as far as you know.
14:11Well, I would say I told them if a country wants to send some oil
14:16into Cuba right now, I have no problem with it.
14:19Whether it's whether it's Russia or not.
14:22What do you worry that that helps a lot of your Putin?
14:24That doesn't help him. He loses one boatload of oil.
14:27That's all it is. It's fine.
14:28If he wants to do that and if other countries want to do it, doesn't
14:32bother me much. It's not going to have an impact.
14:35Cuba's finished. They have a bad regime and they have very bad and corrupt leadership.
14:41And whether or not they get a boat of oil is not going to matter.
14:44I'd prefer letting it in, whether it's Russia or anybody else, because the people need
14:49heat and cooling and all of the other things that you need.
14:53Go ahead. Lately, I've been trying to get my mornings together.
14:56Not perfectly, just better. Less chaos, less jittery energy, and more of that locked -in
15:01feeling that makes the day feel doable.
15:03That's where Mudwater comes in.
15:05Their original blend is a coffee alternative, made with cacao, chai, turmeric, and functional mushrooms
15:10like Lion's Mane and Reishi.
15:12You get a warm focus boost without that wired buzz or midday crash that usually
15:17tags along with a regular cup of coffee.
15:19And if you're still craving that true taste of coffee, you're in luck, because they
15:23actually just launched a low -calf coffee made with Arapica coffee beans, L -theanine, and
15:28the same functional mushrooms you get in their other blends.
15:31It's rich, smooth, and only 45 milligrams of caffeine.
15:35So you get the flavor you love without the jitters, crash, or spiraling thoughts.
15:39So whether you're mixing up the original blend or easing it to something gentler than
15:43your usual brew, Mudwater makes it ridiculously easy to start the day feeling good.

16:40But let's just rewind a little bit, right?
16:42I mean, not rewinding all that far.
16:45Today is March 30th. Let me go back to March 17th, 2026, where Marco Rubio
16:52said the following about Cuba.
16:55March 17th, 2026. So basically two weeks ago, Rubio goes, yeah, the embargo was tied
17:01to political change. The embargo was codified in an executive order.
17:05Listen to what he said then.
17:07Play this clip. Secretary Rubio, do you support, and I know this is up to
17:10Congress, but do you support easing the Cuban, the trade embargo if you get more
17:15cooperation from the vendors? Well, I'm not going to discuss what we would talk about
17:19or not. Suffice it to say that the embargo is tied to political change on
17:22the island. The law, it's been, the embargo is codified.
17:25And, but the bottom line is their economy doesn't work.
17:27It's a non -functional economy.
17:28It's an economy that has survived, it's, for 40, that revolution, it's not even a
17:33revolution, that thing they have, has survived on subsidies from the Soviet Union and now
17:37from Venezuela. They don't get subsidies anymore, so they're in a lot of trouble.
17:40And the people in charge, they don't know how to fix it.
17:43So they have to get new people in charge.
17:45That's what has to happen.
17:45And the relationship we have with Venezuela has been.
17:48Then we'll rewind a little bit more.
17:50I do sound effects now on these shows.
17:53To February 16, 2026, when Donald Trump says, there's an embargo, no oil, there's no
18:01anything. And a reporter's like, so if a deal isn't made, would you consider an
18:05operation like the one in Venezuela?
18:07Trump's like, I ain't going to answer that.
18:09Here, play this clip. You're warning Cuba to make a deal.
18:13What does that deal look like?
18:15What do you want them to do?
18:16Cuba is right now a failed nation.
18:18And they don't even have jet fuel to get for airplanes to take off.
18:22They're clogging up their runway.
18:24We're talking to Cuba right now.
18:27They have Marco Rubio talking to Cuba right now.
18:29And they should absolutely make a deal because it's a humanitarian, it's really a humanitarian
18:34threat. And we have a lot of great Cuban Americans, and they're going to be
18:39very happy when they're going to be able to go back and say hello to
18:42their relatives and do things that they should have been allowed to do for a
18:45long time. I'm very interested in the people that are here that were treated so
18:49badly by Castro and the Cuban authorities.
18:53They have been treated horribly.
18:55So we'll see how it all turns out.
18:57But Cuba and us, we are talking.
18:59In the meantime, there's an embargo.
19:02There's no oil. There's no money.
19:04There's no anything. If a deal isn't made, would you consider an operation like the
19:08one in Venezuela? I don't want to answer that.
19:10Why would I answer that?
19:11If I was, it wouldn't be a very tough operation, as you can figure.
19:17But I don't think that'll be necessary.
19:20Well, now this tanker is carrying about 730 ,000 barrels of crude oil, bringing it
19:27over to Cuba right now.
19:30And by the way, the Trump regime also removed sanctions for Iranian oil, rewarding Iran.
19:35And I know that Treasury Secretary Scott Besant, I'm Scott Besant, everybody, Scott Besant, everybody,
19:42says, we're doing jujitsu. We're doing jujitsu on Iran.
19:47Well, Iran is now earning nearly twice as much from oil sales each day as
19:52it did before the American and Israeli bombs started falling on February 28th.
19:56And they also control the Strait of Hormuz while they're out there posting memes of
20:02themselves killing American soldiers. They are getting rewarded.
20:05Russia is getting rewarded. And by the way, the president of Iran is like the
20:11message of the president and the people of Russia are a source of encouragement for
20:16us on these historic days.
20:18Today, thanks to the resistance of the Iranian people, past relations in the region have
20:23been transformed and new bonds are being formed.
20:26The security of East Asia will henceforth be ensured by the countries of the region
20:30on behalf of the people of Iran.
20:33I thank the government and the people of Russia.
20:35They're just saying it. They're just saying Russia's helping us.
20:39I mean, President Zelensky of Ukraine has been showing the U .S.
20:43the images that were being used by Russia to target the Saudi Arabian Air Force
20:49Base and to target all the other American military assets.
20:54And Zelensky's like, look, when I get my briefings here in Ukraine, we see that
21:01Russia is conducting surveillance on all of these American assets.
21:05OK, we've been trying to show Trump exactly what the Russians are looking at, because
21:11if they're conducting surveillance, they then pass that on to Iran and Iran and its
21:16proxy groups attack those targets.
21:18Everyone knows, Zelensky says, the repeated reconnaissance indicates preparations for strikes with Russia helping Iran.
21:27How can sanctions be eased if this is what the Russians are doing?
21:32There must be pressure on the aggressor.
21:34Russia is the aggressor. Iran is working with Russia right now.
21:40Lifting sanctions is certainly not pressure.
21:42It looks strange, Zelensky says.
21:45Sanctions are being lifted while the aggressor is providing intelligence to strike facilities, including those
21:54of the countries, the United States, that are discussing or who have already lifted the
22:00sanctions against Russia. I mean, that's what Zelensky is saying and he's right.
22:05I mean, and again, one of the other points I wanted to talk about is
22:09the Russian Duma leaders, their Senate, they were invited by Trump.
22:15They were walking around our damn Capitol building last Thursday and Friday.
22:21There's a video of them getting a tour by MAGA Republican Congresswoman, Anna Paulina Luna.
22:27Watch her give these Russian Duma members a tour.
22:29They took photos together and bragged about it.
22:33I mean, you can literally see the top Duma members with the MAGA Republican Congress
22:37members right here. You've got Anna Paulina Luna.
22:41You've got Andy Ogles. You've got Eli Crane.
22:44I mean, look at all these Republican Congress members.
22:46And then they met with the state department and they said, we've got massive concessions,
22:51massive concessions. And by the way, on Friday, freaking Friday.
22:58Okay. It was a movie, Freaky Friday.
23:00On this past Friday, when Donald Trump was giving that weirdo speech at that Miami
23:05financial conference, he kept on saying, Cuba's next.
23:09I'm going after Cuba. Cuba's next.
23:12And then Russia's like, okay, Donald.
23:14Sure, Donald. Watch what Donald Trump said here.
23:17Cuba's next. Watch what he says.
23:19Here, play this clip. You wouldn't have to use.
23:21I built this great military.
23:24I said, you'll never have to use it.
23:25But sometimes you have to use it.
23:27And Cuba's next, by the way.
23:28But pretend I didn't say that, please.
23:31Pretend I didn't say that.
23:32Please, please, please, media, please disregard that statement.
23:38Thank you very much. And then Russia's like, whatever.
23:41And by the way, Cuba's deputy foreign minister says the country is preparing for the
23:46possibility of military aggression. And you better believe that Russia's helping them.
23:50By the way, Russia's probably sending its special forces into Cuba right now to help
23:55train the Cubans and show the teachings of what's going on in Iran.
24:00I don't have to even see what our intelligence is.
24:03I know that's happening. It's common sense that that's what's taking place.
24:07And now that's right off the coast of Florida.
24:10I mean, this is not being reported really anywhere with the kind of moral clarity
24:15of what Zelensky's saying, which is Trump has lifted the sanctions on Russia while Russia
24:21helps Iran kill Americans and destroy American military bases.
24:24And the Russians are in Washington, D .C.
24:27meeting with the State Department and Republican Congress members when the Russians wanted to go
24:31to Cuba while Donald Trump was acting all tough and strong and saying, nobody beats
24:35our blockade. Putin's like, hey, I'm going to just go bypass your blockade.
24:39Trump's like, okay, okay. Oh, it sounds good.
24:41Again, I don't get how anybody at all can look at this and say, oh,
24:45that's Donald Trump. You know, he's strong.
24:47Unless you love Putin. Like at the end of the day, if you're a big
24:50Putin fan or you generally root against the United States, like that's the only way
24:55you can possibly be applauding what Trump is doing because it's the most weak and
24:59pathetic thing ever. And I'm just speaking objectively, final video.
25:04My glasses are going everywhere.
25:07Final point I want to make.
25:10I know I showed you a video of March 17th and then February, and then
25:13we went back. I'll show you a video from Marco Rubio.
25:18When was this? In the past 48 hours.
25:20When Marco Rubio, as Ryan Grimm says, the number of obvious lies in this from
25:24Rubio suggest he's feeling actual pressure.
25:27This was before it was announced that Trump was going to let the Russians get
25:31into Cuba. And Marco Rubio claims Cuba wants oil for free and the U S
25:36isn't blocking it. And that that's really the issue that the whole issue here is
25:41that Cuba wants free oil, that there's really no blockade at all.
25:46And that if anybody wanted to give free oil, they could do it.
25:50It's just Cuba doesn't want to pay for it.
25:53So nobody wants to deliver the oil for free.
25:56So that's what Rubio said right before Donald Trump gave the thumbs up to Putin
26:03to bring the oil in.
26:04Doesn't that make all the sense in the world?
26:06That's why I showed you the other clip of Rubio first when he was in
26:09the White House. Like, yeah, we're doing an embargo.
26:11We're going to be really strong.
26:13These people just look so damn weak and pathetic, right?
26:17Weak and pathetic. They're losers.
26:19All of them are freaking losers.
26:20They're making the whole United States look like the biggest losers, like Trump loser companies
26:25that go bankrupt, like in his whole life of being a fricking loser surrounded by
26:30losers. Isn't that what he said the other day?
26:31I like to hang out around losers because that makes me feel better.
26:35Yeah. Cause you're a loser and all these world leaders know how weak you are,
26:39how easy you are to break when someone stands up to you.
26:43It's pathetic. And then we play this clip of Rubio.
26:46About it in the G7.
26:47Okay. Everybody talks about these blackouts.
26:49Cuba's been having blackouts all of last year, all the year before.
26:53There isn't a naval blockade surrounding Cuba.
26:56The reason why Cuba doesn't have oil and fuel is because they want it for
27:00free and people don't give away oil.
27:02Fuel for free on a regular basis, unless it was the Soviet Union subsidizing them
27:06or Maduro subsidizing them. They just don't do it.
27:09They may get a shipment here or there now and then someone, but not enough
27:12to sustain their country. Okay.
27:14So that's why they don't have fuel.
27:17And the reason why they're having blackouts is because they have equipment from the 1950s
27:21and 60s that they never maintained or kept up.
27:23Well, there you have it, folks.
