0:48Donald Trump is now panicking as the Midas Touch Network is leading the boycott against
0:55Donald Trump's State of the Union.
0:58That's right. Midas Touch has partnered with MoveOn, and we will be hosting the People's
1:04State of the Union when the State of the Union is taking place.
1:08That is our counter -programming, and we already have about 19 senators and members of
1:15the House of Representatives who will be boycotting the State of the Union and will
1:20be joining us at the Midas Touch Network.
1:23This is unprecedented in history.
1:25Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans hate what we are doing.
1:29Right -wing media has been attacking the Midas Touch Network, as has MAGA, for the
1:35fact that we've been putting on this event.
1:37But frankly, I don't care, and I expect that the number of senators and Congress
1:43members to grow and perhaps even be around double what it is right now.
1:4919 will be joining the Midas Touch Network's boycott.
1:52I expect that number to look more like 30 to 40 in the coming days,
1:57but we will see and keep you posted.
2:00Here's our official flyer right here, the People's State of the Union, February 24th, 8
2:06.30 Eastern time, although we'll probably end up starting earlier than that.
2:10You can watch it here on the Midas Touch YouTube channel.
2:13But it's not just the lawmakers who are going to be here on the Midas
2:18Touch Network. They're also going to be alongside heart and soul of this country.
2:23Federal workers, immigrants, and other Americans impacted by Donald Trump's policies will also be at
2:31our event. They'll be speaking.
2:33And again, this has never really existed.
2:36There's no historical precedent for it, but we have to lead by example.
2:41And that's what we always do here at the Midas Touch Network.
2:44And Trump and his regime, as I said, absolutely hate this.
2:47A few housekeeping matters. As you can see, we're very close to 6 million subscribers.
2:53Hit subscribe right now. Help us hit 6 million subscribers before the State of the
2:57Union. Let's make a statement there.
2:59Also go to MidasPlus .com.
3:01That's our substack. Join that right now.
3:04So here's how it's being reported in the press.
3:08Democrats plan counter -programming during Trump's State of the Union.
3:12That's from The Hill or USA Today.
3:14People State of the Union.
3:16What Democrats plan for Trump's speech.
3:18And all these members of Congress have been announcing they are going to be joining
3:22the Midas Touch event and skipping the State of the Union, boycotting the State of
3:27the Union. Here's how New York Times reported it.
3:29Democrats plan to counter Trump's speech to Congress with rally.
3:34And it says the event, which is being coordinated by the left -wing advocacy group
3:39MoveOn and Midas Touch, a progressive media company, will feature Democratic lawmakers speaking with people
3:46who have been negatively affected by Mr.
3:48Trump's economic and health care policies, as well as federal workers who lost their jobs
3:53and immigrants who have been targeted by the Trump administration.
3:57It will be hosted by the liberal political commentators Joy Reid and Katie Fang.
4:02It's always funny to me when corporate news uses these labels.
4:06The liberal hosts and the progressive, I mean, look, at the end of the day,
4:10we don't like fascism. And it's a pretty easy decision for us not to stream
4:16live the State of the Union and to support the boycott and to use our
4:20massive platform here at the Midas Touch Network to lead that effort in terms of
4:26bringing the distribution of it to the American people.
4:30Why would I want to watch a fascist who's covering up a child sex trafficking
4:37ring with a bunch of other pedo protectors that are there mocking the American people,
4:45lie after lie after lie?
4:47No, I'd rather host and use this incredible platform that we've all built together with
4:53you, host people talking about policies and hearing from Americans and immigrants and people who
5:00can share their experiences. I don't know that that's what I would like to see.
5:04And frankly, when we hear from the American people, that's what they want to see
5:09as well. I don't know if you saw this, but Now that they're in a
5:13partial government shutdown, yet again, because the Trump regime refuses to negotiate with Democrats over
5:21the Department of Homeland Security demands, the DHS demands that it's ICE and Border Patrol
5:28Gestapo, it's Nazis, it's SS, it's paramilitary, that they always be able to wear masks
5:35when they terrorize communities. No body cams at all, masks, and no judicial warrants, and
5:44they want to make sure they're there at the polling places come the midterms.
5:48Look, you want to know my view?
5:50My view is we need to abolish ICE and Border Patrol, and we need to
5:55prosecute each and every one of those people who have been involved in torturing and
6:00terrorizing the American people and others in this country.
6:04The Democrat demand is a little more moderate than what I just suggested, but okay,
6:10okay, what do I know?
6:12They just say, here, body cams, judicial warrants, don't be at the polling locations at
6:20the midterms, and no masks.
6:22But for the MAGAs, they go, the MAGAs are like, that's a non -starter for
6:26us. We can't ever agree to that.
6:28Those are non -starters. Those are non -starters for you.
6:32Let's hear from what the American people are saying.
6:35Here's a Missouri voter, probably who will be watching the Midas Touch people's state of
6:41the union, the real state of the union that people are going to be watching.
6:45Here's a Missouri voter yesterday calling in to C -SPAN.
6:49Here's what he has to say.
6:51Trump needs to be removed.
6:53Let's play it. He needs to be removed.
6:56Trump needs to be removed.
6:58And everybody that has kowtowed to him, Patel, Bondi, and all those people need to
7:06be removed and prosecuted for their crimes against the public.
7:10And the fact that he's taken all our medical money to finance ICE is totally
7:16ridiculous. It's sick. Okay. What about a Tennessee voter who called in to C -SPAN
7:25talking about the importance of affordability?
7:28Play this clip. I think there's probably very little doubt that affordability and health care
7:33is the major thing going around here in Tennessee, especially in a small town like
7:38I live in. And, you know, the loss of people's substances is forcing – I
7:43know a lot of people now that say they just don't have no health care.
7:46You know, they can't afford it.
7:47And the price of everything is going up around here.
7:50Heck, that gone car battery is costing $300 now.
7:54That, you know, just a few years ago, three years ago, was about a $100,
7:58$105 battery. People just affordability because we're a low -wage state or county.
8:07And our biggest thing right there, and, of course, they have state files.
8:11I don't know what they'll ever come up, you know, of because if we just
8:14turn all these wealthy people loose, that's just turning them, you know, freedom.
8:19Anybody do to our children what they want to if you've got money.
8:21Of course, that's the way that that works.
8:23But definitely affordability of groceries, groceries.
8:27You know, you see states bringing $25 a piece here, you know, out of the
8:32grocery store. Well, this little county can't afford that kind of stuff.
8:35And like I said, health care, a lot of people lose their lives over that
8:39because they're making a decision now whether they buy groceries or medicine.
8:42What about this independent voter who talks about the ICE facilities that are being built
8:48in Baltimore right now and how they're taking people off the streets, kidnapping them in
8:54the masks and throwing them into these warehouses where they terrorize and torture people?
9:00Here, play this clip. You know, they're building an ICE facility out in Harrisburg, not
9:07Harrisburg, well, out west, and they're, you know, taking people out in Baltimore.
9:15And I think the biggest issue, not to be glib, is, you know, stuff like,
9:22you know, the Epstein files and the corruption of the federal government, where our resources
9:29are being put towards, you know, things that don't reflect our values at the state
9:35and federal level. Like people being disappeared off the streets, you know, it would be
9:40bad enough if they were just not citizens, but including citizens being disappeared off the
9:45streets by men in masks while at this to who knows where without a record
9:50available to the public, while at the same time, people in the highest positions of
9:54power, including the president of the United States, is covering up, you know, the distribution
9:59of release of, you know, files about trafficking people.
10:03I mean, did you see some of this incredible reporting by ProPublica?
10:07Hat tip to our friends over there at ProPublica.
10:10They're doing such a great job.
10:12They've documented how Trump's Nazis, his ICE and Border Patrol Gestapo, rounded up the little
10:19children that are in these detention centers, these concentration camps, and stole their writings and
10:26their drawings and their letters because ProPublica published them before.
10:31And so now the Trump Gestapo stole the ability of these children to write letters.
10:37Did you hear the story about the two months?
10:39with bronchitis, who almost got killed, was at that Dilley detention center facility.
10:45And there was no doctor on site, despite it being run by a private company
10:51that taxpayers fund to the tune of billions of dollars.
10:55This little kid almost died.
10:57They brought him to the hospital, two months old.
10:59That's all this kid knows.
11:00And then they brought him to the hospital, almost died there, barely survived.
11:04And then the Trump regime, Juan, Juan Nicholas, then they immediately deported him to Mexico.
11:10Right away, trying to kill this two -month -old.
11:15ProPublic also reported on some of the messages coming out from these kids.
11:18And they're tortured. They're suffering.
11:20They're being starved to death.
11:22The water's making them sick.
11:24You know, the atrocities. I mean, there are tons of people who are dying at
11:29these concentration camps. So, no, I'm not going to play live the authoritarian fascist state
11:38of the union because the state of our union has been destroyed by this authoritarian
11:47regime. We'll rebuild it. We'll rebuild it.
11:50But I ain't playing that.
11:51I ain't playing. They could attack us.
11:54The right wing could go after us all they want.
11:56I ain't playing it. We're going to be hosting our own event.
11:59That's what we do here at the Midas Touch Network.
12:01By the way, Lane Brown in Oklahoma, he posted this.
12:06This is incredible. People were being arrested for speaking out against AI data centers.
12:13This is in Claremore, Oklahoma.
12:17Claremore, Oklahoma. This is a very Trumpy area, a former Trumpy MAGA area, and Trump
12:27and Trumpers keep trying to throw these data centers into these communities.
12:32People don't want these data centers there.
12:36There are so many issues right now.
12:39I keep saying this. That aren't Democrat, Republican issues.
12:42People are wising up that these framings that media wants to, liberal, conservative, this or
12:49that, are ways to divide us.
12:52Right now, a lot of these issues are good versus evil, harmful versus helpful, right?
13:00Things that make people sick and destroy versus things that help people prosper, right?
13:06We need to recognize these things.
13:08I mean, it's not a political thing that the Trump regime is covering up a
13:12child sex trafficking ring. It is an evil, despicable thing.
13:17That's what it is. And what you see here in Claremore, Oklahoma, is what we're
13:21seeing across the country in quote unquote liberal cities, conservative cities, independent.
13:27People don't want these data centers which are eating up the energy, causing energy bills
13:33to spike, making people sick in the area, and also fueling AI that's taking away
13:40people's jobs, among other things, and other health concerns.
13:44Take a look at what happened in Claremore.
13:46Play this clip. We need to get through the meeting so that everyone can talk.
14:21You know, and then, with all this taking place, what's Donald Trump doing?
14:26He's posting photos of the ballroom that he wants to build, the frickin' Golden Ballroom,
14:33right? Where he, remember the reporting I did on the Golden Ballroom as well?
14:37Where Trump's now arguing it is a national security matter because if we don't build
14:43the ballroom, it's going to make him sick because he destroyed the East Wing and
14:49there could be asbestos there now and the rubble and the Secret Service can't get
14:54by. So Trump argues, I kid you not, that his life is at risk if
15:00the East Wing ballroom is not built right now.
15:03He also said that there's major national security implications if the Golden Ballroom isn't built.
15:09And he submitted two declarations that were classified, classified declarations.
15:14And as I said before, one of the things he wants to do there is
15:18build that bunker underneath the way Hitler built a bunker underneath or wanted to build
15:23a bunker underneath his ballroom.
15:26You know, Trump's posting things like this as well.
15:28He goes, more on the will be the greatest ballroom ever, but you got MAGA
15:33posting things like this. This is what the Republican, the GOP accounts.
15:37This is what they wrote yesterday.
15:39Wages are climbing. Costs are falling.
15:42Our economy is thriving. This is the Trump effect.
15:49It's my Howard Lutnick impression of saying it.
15:52Wages are down, costs are up, and the overall state of the economy is not
15:58resilient and it's not doing well right now.
16:00Stop gaslighting the people right now.
16:03Stop it. 14 million households.
16:07now owe past due utility bills.
16:10There's no energy boom. It's an affordability crisis, as Aaron Black explains.
16:16This isn't leadership, it's neglect.
16:18Americans are far more dissatisfied with Trump's handling of the economy than ever before.
16:24Just think about it, the amount of delinquencies in credit card bills, in utility bills,
16:31the amount of delinquencies in commercial leasing arrangements right now, where banks are having to
16:41foreclose on commercial leases at numbers not seen since great recessions.
16:46With all of this taking place, we're now preparing to go to war with Iran,
16:52a massive war, weeks -long, U .S.-Israel, that's it.
16:58None of our other allies, they don't exist any.
17:01It's U .S. and Israel.
17:02Trump says he's 90 % in the next few weeks going to launch this strike,
17:07and that it can take weeks.
17:09Israel is preparing for war within days.
17:12We have two aircraft carrier groups there.
17:17What the hell is going on?
17:19Who wants this war? No one wants this war right now.
17:22We just want to help people get housing here in the United States.
17:26Just want people to be able to have healthcare in the United States, have people
17:32to be able to have jobs with dignity, not just a living wage, because they
17:37ain't even getting a living wage, a wage with dignity that they deserve.
17:41That's what people want. Ro Khanna, Democratic congressman, writes, Trump is positioning two aircraft carriers,
17:51a dozen warships, and hundreds of fighter jets to prepare for possible war with Iran.
17:57I first got into politics to end the Iraq war.
18:00I won't let Trump launch a disastrous war without Congress voting to stop it.
18:05They're saying there's a 90 % chance of strikes.
18:09So Thomas Massey and Khanna, they did a war powers resolution, and they're saying, look,
18:16we're going to, we're going to try to block Trump from doing this.
18:19A war with Iran could be catastrophic.
18:22It's a complex society with 90 million people, significant air defenses, military capabilities.
18:28We have 30 to 40 ,000 US troops in the region.
18:32What are we doing here?
18:34What are we doing here?
18:36And all the while you've got the Trump kids hosting a crypto conference yesterday, whining
18:44about being canceled? Danny, Danny, Danny, Danny, Danny, Danny, Danny.
18:49A bunch of freaking whiners.
18:50Here's what they said. We've been dealing with the conflict of interest stuff for years.
18:53I mean, they tried all this nonsense the first time around.
18:56Frankly, it's gotten old. They were the ones that put us into this position by
19:00creating legislation to try to put us out of business.
19:02We just fought back. We weren't willing to sit in a corner, curl up in
19:06a ball and die like they would love us to do.
19:08That's not how we function.
19:09That's not how we operate.
19:10And you can see that whether it's my father or us, that's never going to
19:13happen. We're going to do what we need to do to fight back.
19:16It's a crazy law of unintended consequences.
19:18If you look at what they tried to do when they threw my father off
19:20of Twitter and they did the same to Don and myself and pretty much everybody
19:23else in our family, they took us off Twitter, they took us off Facebook, they
19:26took us off of Instagram, they took us off of YouTube, they took us off
19:29of Google, they skewed all the searches.
19:31They did everything they could to suppress.
19:32So guess what we did?
19:33We went out and we formed Truth Social.
19:35You know, then not too long after that, you know, all the banks, they started
19:37canceling us left and right, every single one of them, every single one of the
19:41big banks. They started canceling us.
19:42Guess what we did? We went out and we got into DeFi because we realized
19:45it was future finance. And, you know, the great irony is half of the very
19:49executives that called us back in those days to cancel us are actually in this
19:53room right now. It's kind of, it is a law of unintended consequences.
19:56And I think, you know, for a long time they fought it.
19:58And I think at this point they realized they can't fight it.
20:01The train has left the station.
20:02This is happening worldwide. The whole world is adopting crypto in a very, very big,
20:07fast manner. Uh, and they'd much rather be on the side of something that's clearly
20:11the future, uh, than be trying to fight it in perpetuity.
20:14By the way, here's the list of 19 senators and Congress members who are going
20:19to be joining our event at, uh, the state of the union, the people's state
20:24of the union. I expect there to be many more, but here's the list right
20:27now. Senator Ed Markey, Senator Jeff Merkley, Senator Chris Murphy, Senator Tina Smith, Senator Chris
20:34Van Hollen, Congresswoman on Zari, Congresswoman Ballant, Kassar, Escobar, Himes, Jacobs, Jayapal, Larson, Kamliger, Dove,
20:45Pine Gree, Randell, Scanlon, Ramirez, Watson.
20:51I expect there to be many more.
20:53I expect there to be many more.
20:56We'll keep you posted every step of the way.
20:58Hit subscribe. Help us get to 6 million.
