Trump Panics in War and Calls to End NATO

4/1/202618 mincomplete
0:00Donald Trump continues to panic all morning long as his disastrous war in Iran continues
0:05to escalate. Donald Trump is now saying he wants the United States to withdraw from
0:11NATO. Donald Trump gave interviews with The Telegraph and with Reuters.
0:16In both interviews, he said he wants the U .S.
0:19out of NATO. He says NATO is a paper tiger.
0:23He said that he and Vladimir Putin talk all the time about how NATO is
0:28a paper tiger and is useless.
0:30Donald Trump then attacked the Navy for the United Kingdom and said they're useless.
0:36They don't even have a Navy.
0:38He attacked Keir Starmer. Donald Trump told Reuters that in an address to the nation
0:44that he's supposed to give tonight at 9 Eastern, 6 Pacific, he may make the
0:49case why the U .S.
0:51should be out of NATO.
0:53Now, there is a law that was signed by former President Biden, which says that
0:58unless there is a two -thirds vote in the Senate, a president can't unilaterally withdraw
1:04from NATO. By the way, you know who sponsored that bill which became a law?
1:09Yeah, it was Marco Rubio when he was a senator and Senator Cain.
1:14It was a bipartisan bill.
1:16And now, of course, Marco Rubio working with Donald Trump to pull the United States
1:21out of NATO. And Donald Trump and Netanyahu went in alone in this catastrophic war
1:27against Iran. They didn't consult any allies.
1:31Donald Trump didn't talk to NATO before the invasion.
1:34He didn't talk to allies in the Middle East.
1:37And then he just invaded Iran.
1:39There's a quagmire now where Iran now controls the Strait of Hormuz.
1:45Iran continues to strike its Arab nation neighbors where the U .S.
1:50has military bases and interests.
1:52Heck, last night, as I reported this morning, and we can confirm this now, Iran
1:57hit an Amazon facility, an Amazon data facility in Bahrain, which is exactly what Iran
2:05said it was going to start to strike.
2:06American corporate interests now in the region as well, despite what Donald Trump and his
2:11sycophants say, where they go, Iran's been totally decimated.
2:15Iran's been totally destroyed. They don't exist anymore.
2:18They don't have leaders. That's completely and utterly false.
2:22And Donald Trump will be addressing the nation tonight.
2:25Who knows what the heck he's going to say.
2:27Lots of people also believe that Donald Trump may be saying he's going to withdraw
2:33from Iran and just let our former allies deal with the problem with the Strait
2:39of Hormuz. We're just going to bail on it.
2:41We're not going to do anything.
2:43Because as we head into Easter this weekend, the stock market closes down on Friday.
2:50And so perhaps Donald Trump will try to do a ground invasion and use the
2:54disinformation that's being spread as a way to do a ground invasion.
2:58But the reality is Donald Trump lies about absolutely everything.
3:02This has been a catastrophic war at every level.
3:06I mean, even this morning, Donald Trump posts on social media to manipulate the market.
3:10Then he tries to spread this message to Axios and others.
3:14He goes, Iran's president has demanded that we enter into a ceasefire.
3:19They're begging us for a ceasefire right now.
3:22And then Iran's foreign ministry said, that's not true.
3:24We're not asking for a ceasefire.
3:26We do not want a ceasefire.
3:27I mean, what Iran has said is that they would be willing to end the
3:32war because it takes two to end a war.
3:34Multiple countries, if multiple countries are involved in the war, if they have security guarantees,
3:40real security guarantees, reparations for the war, they can keep their ballistic missiles.
3:45They won't be prohibited in the future from enriching uranium if they want to.
3:50And they want American military bases out of the Middle East.
3:53They said those are some of their non -negotiable points.
3:56Oh, and they continue to control the Strait of Hormuz.
3:59And Iran continues to say, not only have we not offered a ceasefire, we're not
4:04having negotiations. Now, Iran's foreign minister said, look, the Trump regime tries to reach out
4:10to us, whether it's through Pakistan or whether it's directly, you know, and they want
4:15a ceasefire. They want to end this thing.
4:18But Iran says that's not a negotiation.
4:20We have not agreed to any framework of a negotiation.
4:24We have completely rejected the U .S.
4:2715 -point plan. And we've made clear what our non -negotiables are.
4:32We're the ones who will set the deadlines, not the United States.
4:36We will not be – we will not have to bow down to arbitrary deadlines
4:42is what they're saying. I want to point out as well that we also saw
4:47a lot of world leaders addressing their nations right now to talk about the shock
4:53to the oil supply and the harm that's about to unfold.
4:58It already is unfolding, but world leaders are preparing their countries for what's about to
5:04take place. Anthony Albanese in Australia addressed his nation earlier today saying it's going to
5:11be very difficult in the months ahead.
5:13I mean, the shock – even if the war were to end right now, which
5:16it's not going to, the shock to the oil supply, the shock to fertilizer, helium,
5:22just lots of stuff in general.
5:26The shock to the supply there is going to have this cascading effect, even if
5:31the war were to end.
5:32And Australia's Prime Minister Albanese preparing his people.
5:37Meanwhile, in the UK, Prime Minister Keir Starmer addressed the people of the United Kingdom
5:43as well. He addressed his country.
5:46You know, and he said, look, this is not our war.
5:48We're not getting dragged into it.
5:50Donald Trump has tried to bully me over and over again.
5:52I'm not going to be bullied.
5:54We're not being dragged into this war.
5:56Donald Trump's tactics are not working.
5:58So we've seen that. Let me just pull out the receipts, you know, as we
6:01do here on the Midas Touch Network.
6:03I'll go piece by piece.
6:04Just a reminder, hit subscribe.
6:06Help us get to 7 million subscribers while you're at it.
6:09Subscribe to Scott McFarlane's YouTube channel.
6:12As you know, Scott McFarlane joined the Midas Touch Network, and his YouTube channel is
6:15just soaring right now. The front page of the Telegraph this morning was Donald Trump
6:22saying, I'm strongly considering pulling the U .S.
6:26out of NATO. Again, as I mentioned before, he said that he blames NATO for
6:33what's going on right now in Iran, for not joining him after he initiated the
6:38war without telling anybody other than Netanyahu.
6:41He said NATO is a paper tiger.
6:43He said that Vladimir Putin tells him, I mean, direct quote, Vladimir Putin knows that
6:48NATO is a paper tiger.
6:50And so I agree with Putin.
6:52Putin says that is what basically Donald Trump is saying.
6:54Donald Trump said the following on NATO.
6:57Also, of course, Trump has to attack Ukraine.
6:59We've been there automatically, including Ukraine.
7:02Ukraine wasn't our problem. It was a test.
7:05And we. We're there for them.
7:07And we would always be there for them.
7:09But they weren't there for us.
7:10Right. Even right now, as President Zelensky of Ukraine tries to help the United States
7:16and say, hey, I've got the drone interceptor technology.
7:20Ukraine probably has the advanced drone offensive and defensive systems in the world, not just
7:26the technology, but the know -how, how to deal with them.
7:28I mean, I thought I think I saw Ukraine's interception rate is over 90 percent
7:33in the month of March of the ballistic missiles and drones now that Russia is
7:38using, which are made with Iran.
7:40And Donald Trump continues to attack Zelensky over and over again.
7:44And Trump continues to lift oil sanctions on Russia, lift sanctions on Russian vessels, invite
7:50the Russian Duma to Congress to meet with MAGA Republican Congress members, as well as
7:55with the State Department. While we all know that Russia is helping Iran in the
7:59war and Donald Trump is out there helping Russia and hurting Ukraine, it's just that
8:04simple. Like, it's a very, very clear.
8:07We don't have to be hyperbolic.
8:09That's just what I just said.
8:10There are undisputed facts of what is happening.
8:14Then here's what Donald Trump said about Keir Starmer, the prime minister of UK.
8:17He can do whatever he wants.
8:19It doesn't matter. All Starmer wants is windmills, costly windmills that are driving your energy
8:25prices through the roof than Donald Trump posted on social media.
8:29Iran's new regime president, much less radicalized and far more intelligent than his predecessors, has
8:35just asked the United States of America for a ceasefire.
8:38Didn't happen. Not true. 100 percent false.
8:42Never happened. Donald Trump goes on to say, we will consider when Hormuz straight is
8:48open, free and clear. Until then, we are blasting Iran to oblivion, or as they
8:53say, back to the Stone Ages, DJT.
8:56And again, blasting them to oblivion, back to the Stone Ages.
9:00As I think I said on the podcast I did with my brothers on Monday,
9:03or maybe I said it yesterday during a live podcast, you know, he sounds like
9:07the bad guy, like a corny bad guy from some cartoon I watched growing up.
9:11We're going to bomb you to the Stone Ages.
9:14All you're doing is further building resilience amongst the Iranian people, who are very proud
9:20cultural heritage people. Even if they didn't like the Ayatollah, and perhaps I'm putting that
9:24lightly, you're just creating them to have more solidarity in fighting back right now when
9:31you say things like that as well.
9:35Iran's foreign ministry responds right away.
9:38Trump's claims that Iran requested a ceasefire are baseless and false.
9:42And of course, we know they're baseless and false because there isn't a ceasefire.
9:47Iran continues to strike its Arab neighbor nations in retaliation.
9:51It also strikes Israel, successfully hitting Tel Aviv and other areas.
9:56Iran's shooting less ballistics and using less drones, but more precise strikes is what's taking
10:03place. They still control the Strait of Hormuz.
10:06It has a leadership structure in place that's actually more for controlling the Strait of
10:14Hormuz and not ending the war than what the prior leadership was.
10:18But it's still the Islamic Republic, you know, it's a complete catastrophe for the United
10:24States. Again, he continues to attack the UK.
10:27You don't have a navy.
10:28You don't have this. You don't have that.
10:30I mentioned some other incidents, the Bahrain incident involving the Amazon facility, Israel and Tel
10:36Aviv. UAE continues to get hit by Iran.
10:40Kuwait continues to get hit.
10:42Remember a Kuwaiti ship off the coast of Dubai?
10:44i uh got hit um qatar's defense ministry said that three missiles were launched from
10:49iran adding that while two were intercepted one hit an oil tanker leased by qatar
10:54energy in qatari waters now qatar energy already declared a force majeure and 20 of
11:03its facility its lng facility has already been uh shut down as a result of
11:08the iranian strikes after the u .s and israel hit the south par's facility in
11:13iran iran hit the northern facilities in qatar remember that was like a week and
11:17a half ago um so qatar energy is reeling that's what you get qatar when
11:22you give donald trump a jet you give him a big jumbo jet and you
11:27get uh as donald trump would say bomb to the stone ages or bomb to
11:31uh oblivion right there um as as i mentioned trump spoke with tom with the
11:37reuters folks as well trump told steve holland in a brief interview he will express
11:42his disgust for nato at tonight's speech and that he is absolutely considering withdrawing the
11:47united states from nato trump says the united states will be out of iran pretty
11:52quickly and then donald trump said we may still continue to do spot hits if
11:57needed by the way that's why iran doesn't want to do a ceasefire one they
12:00don't want to negotiate with the united states because they know the united states is
12:04a bad faith actor in any negotiations the last two times there were negotiations trump
12:09used the negotiation to invade in the middle of a negotiation where there were by
12:14all accounts based on the independent mediators in the room and other independent sources in
12:19the room like the british national security advisor there was a deal to be made
12:24and perhaps a deal to be made that was stronger than even obama's deal but
12:28trump and netanyahu invaded uh invaded anyway um and you know everything since then has
12:35continued to escalate and escalate and you know and and so why would iran want
12:41to even do a negotiation in the first place um why would they want to
12:45do a ceasefire why would they want you know if they know that the us
12:48is just going to build up and do spot hits no matter what that's why
12:51they said we need security guarantees because otherwise this is going to keep on happening
12:55over and over again we know that the united states munitions and israeli munitions are
13:00running out they know that it's not like a secret to them they're aware they
13:05know how unpopular this war is in the united states it's not a secret to
13:08them why would they agree to a ceasefire when they could drag this out for
13:13many many many more months and cause more pain if they're not going to get
13:17anything in return i mean that's that's just one of the things right there um
13:21meanwhile uh donald trump's approval according to a new cnn poll uh conducted by ssrs
13:28how trump is handling his job as president 35 approved 64 disapproved similar to i
13:36think it's lowest in the cnn poll we saw the umass amherst you gov poll
13:41where trump's approval was only at 33 percent you look at cnn's poll and donald
13:46trump's handling of the economy right now it is at uh 31 69 disapproved i
13:53mean these are truly just horrific and ugly numbers for donald trump i'll just show
13:57you quickly what prime minister kier starmer said on iran uh these are very short
14:01clips but i want you to hear what he said here play this clip well
14:04it's very important that um we're clear there's been a a good deal of pressure
14:10on me to change my position in relation to joining the war um and i'm
14:15not going to change my position on the war so whatever the pressure whatever the
14:20noise i'm the british prime minister and i have to to act in our national
14:24interests. And here's what he said about Trump trying to put pressure on him, let's
14:29play it. Well, I do think that we should strengthen our cooperation on defense, security,
14:37energy emissions, and the economy.
14:38And on the economy, the steps we've taken so far have been in relation to
14:44the single market. And I'm ambitious that we can do more in relation to the
14:50single market. And ultimately for Keir Starmer, it's about strengthening the relationship of the UK
14:55with the EU, moving away from, you know, the special relationship with the United States,
15:01European Union, Ukraine, Canada, Australia, forming a strong bond.
15:09You know, I think NATO pretty much only exists right now in name only, while
15:13it's sad to say that.
15:15Trump delusionally believes that he is allied with Putin and while Putin helps Iran destroy
15:21the United States. And, you know, there was this front page of The Economist that
15:26has Xi Jinping on it.
15:27And the front page from today says, never interrupt your enemy when he's making a
15:32mistake. We spoke to The Economist writes, we spoke to diplomats, advisors, scholars, experts, current
15:38and former officials in China, almost all of them see the war in Iran as
15:42a grave American error. And it's, you know, just significantly benefiting China, Russia and Iran.
15:50So what's the US doing today as well?
15:53The US is now once again, trying to attack Denmark and Greenland, saying that the
15:59US wants access to three additional sites.
16:02So back to attacking Greenland right now, they're going to bring that up again.
16:06And I'll do another take on this, or Popak will do a take on this
16:10this morning. There are oral arguments right now in the Supreme Court case where Donald
16:17Trump signed an unlawful executive order to get rid of birthright citizenship.
16:21The case is called Trump versus Barbara.
16:24The 14th Amendment of the United States Constitution sets forth that people who are born
16:29in the United States are citizens of the United States.
16:32By an executive order, Donald Trump is saying that that is unlawful.
16:37Donald Trump's executive order is what's unlawful.
16:40There's also a statute, 8 U .S .C.
16:42Section 1401, a case called Wong Kim Ark, which says that birthright citizenship is the
16:48law of the land in the United States.
16:50And at least as of now, even from the right -wing Supreme Court justices, they
16:55do not think that there's any merit to Trump's executive order.
17:00And it seems that Trump's going to lose.
17:03And Trump's actually in the Supreme Court right now watching it, watching what a loser
17:07he is. So we'll keep you posted, of course, all these things throughout the day.
