1:37There are mass protests everywhere in the Middle East right now as millions of people,
1:44if not tens of millions of people in the Middle East, are out there protesting
1:48the Trump regime and the Netanyahu regime.
1:51What you saw there at the beginning of this video was a million -person protest
1:57in Baghdad where there were Shiite clerics calling for Iraq to join the war on
2:05Iran's side against the United States and Israel.
2:09I'll show you more B -roll of this massive protest.
2:12I mean, quite literally, it's like hundreds of thousands.
2:15They're saying millions of people.
2:17You could judge for yourself this crowd size out there to see a Shiite cleric
2:22and the people of Iraq showing solidarity with the people of Iran.
2:28And so for those saying that Donald Trump and Netanyahu were going to be greeted
2:32like heroes in this region, all they have done is sparked further sectarian rifts.
2:39And you're seeing the Shiite community now across the Middle East stand up and hold
2:46these protests. And again, it's not just in Baghdad, Iraq.
2:50I mean, we're seeing them in Syria.
2:52We're seeing them in Yemen.
2:54The Houthis were out there.
2:55I mean, hundreds of thousands of protesters, as many people as the eyes could possibly
3:00see. And then, by the way, even in Tel Aviv, in Israel, you had mass
3:06protests against the Netanyahu regime demanding that the war end in Israel.
3:11Let me show you that one right now.
3:14I mean, this is as their prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has been making videos himself
3:19all day bragging that we, Israel and the United States, have destroyed 70 % of
3:26Iran's steel production capacity. Today, we attack their petrochemical plants.
3:32We will continue to crush them, is what Netanyahu said, as he and Donald Trump
3:37have also destroyed a lot of civilian areas.
3:41Also, Beirut and Lebanon basically completely destroyed the suburban areas and civilian areas.
3:49Take a look at some of these protests erupting in Tel Aviv calling for an
3:54end to the war. Play this clip.
4:08And here's how they were talking about it on Al Jazeera, these mass protests that
4:13are taking place in Tel Aviv right now.
4:16I just want to give you that perspective because you may not be hearing about
4:20that really anywhere else. Here, play this clip.
4:24Hundreds of people took to the streets in Israel on Saturday to demand an end
4:27to the war in Iran.
4:29Protesters gathered in Tel Aviv's main square, as well as in several major cities, including
4:34Jerusalem and Haifa. Demonstrations are held every Saturday against the Netanyahu government.
4:41Well, Rob McBride joins us now live from the Jordanian capital, Amman.
4:45Rob, so Israel has been coming under attack from Iran, from Hezbollah, and from the
4:49Houthis in Yemen. Meanwhile, we've heard an Israeli official saying that they're ready to hit
4:54Iranian energy facilities and that they're just waiting for the green light to be given
4:59from the U .S. What else are you learning about all this?
5:02I'll go back to Baghdad right now, and we'll turn the sound on for this
5:06one over here and show you again this massive crowd size.
5:10Let's play it. Let's play it.
5:29Take a look right here, the protests across Syrian cities in the past week or
5:35so. You've seen these protests on an almost a daily basis right here.
5:39They're both protesting Trump and Netanyahu's war in Iran and attacks in the Middle East.
5:46And they're also protesting the Israeli law, allowing executions of Palestinian captives only.
5:54Here play this clip. Now I'll show you this massive Houthi rally as the Houthis
6:12are getting prepared to potentially shut down the Red Sea as Trump's unlawful war in
6:18Iran continues to escalate. And again, I mean, Donald Trump believes that this is a
6:24sign of that the people are submitting to his will.
6:27You know, it just objectively seems like the opposite and any potential ability to rally
6:35people around America. When Donald Trump's out there framing this as an attack, not on
6:42the Iranian regime, right? That's not how Trump and Netanyahu have been framing this.
6:47They've been framing it as an attack on Iranians, the Iranian civilization to send Iran
6:54and the civilization of Iran back to the Stone Age.
6:57And thus people who didn't even support the Ayatollah and the Iranian regime and who
7:03may have been willing and to not just to join, you know, potentially with America,
7:09but be helpful in overthrowing the Ayatollah.
7:13This has Trump's strategy of making this about, you know, U .S.
7:17civilization destroying Iran civilization is the worst approach possible.
7:22Take a look at this massive Houthi rally right here in Sabine Square.
7:26Hundreds of thousands of people there.
7:28Play this clip. Now, I'll give you this insight because I want to give you
7:42the perspective of people in this region.
7:44So this is Hassan T.
7:47Alassan. He is a senior fellow for Middle East policy at the International Institute of
7:53Strategic Studies. And here in this interview, you know, he says, look, Trump has chosen
7:59the worst of all possible options for the Gulf states, a gratuitous escalation that will
8:05result in more Iranian attacks against the Gulf states while leaving the Strait of Hormuz
8:10hostage to Iran. Listen to what he has to say.
8:13Play this clip. Trump has really chosen the worst of all possible options and approaches
8:19for the Gulf states. He has chosen to escalate gratuitously against Iran's civilian infrastructure, pledging
8:27to bomb them back to the Stone Age and to take out their electricity and
8:32oil infrastructure. And we know exactly how Iran is going to respond to that.
8:36They will respond much more forcefully against the Gulf states than they will against U
8:40.S. or Israeli interests. So in a sense, he's chosen a path of escalation that
8:45is going to provoke Iranian retaliation against Gulf interests on the one hand.
8:50And at the same time, this is a path of escalation that does not involve
8:54liberating the Strait of Hormuz from Iranian extortion.
8:58So on the one hand, a massive cost that the Gulf states are likely to
9:03absorb as a result of U .S.-Israeli escalation in Iran without the benefit of securing
9:09the Strait of Hormuz against Iranian extortion.
9:13He could have chosen an escalatory path that would involve securing the Strait.
9:17He could have chosen a de -escalatory path that would have spared the Gulf states
9:22further Iranian attacks. But he has chosen really the worst of both of both outcomes.
9:28I think Trump is seeing this quite narrowly from the Israeli interest, given that Israel
9:34doesn't have a massive direct stake in the Strait of Hormuz and that Israel wants
9:39to keep on degrading Iran's military, industrial, economic capacity for as much as possible.
9:45So I think this is the approach that ultimately President Trump seems to have adopted
9:50for the next phase of this conflict.
9:52You know, and then you have Trump and his entire regime turning this into like
9:57a religious war, like a crusade.
9:59And that's the language that Trump's been using.
10:02You know, Trump said, you know, glory be to God.
10:05Trump goes, remember when I gave Iran 10 days to make a deal or open
10:10up the Hormuz Strait, time is running out.
10:1348 hours before all hell will rain down on them.
10:17Glory be to God, Donald J.
10:19Trump. And again, saying glory be to God, essentially saying Allah Akbar, but saying glory
10:25be to God in a sense of Donald Trump and Hegsitt saying Jesus this, Jesus
10:30that, you know, it creates this broader religious crusade war.
10:36And all you've done by.
10:39Approaching it that way, the worst way to approach it is you've inspired the billions
10:45and millions of Shiites, you know, in the Middle East and potentially, you know, others
10:51to rally and say, no, we're not going to, we're not going to take that.
10:56Here you have Donald, take a look at the stuff that Donald Trump's been saying
10:59just in the past week or so.
11:01With a little more time, we can easily open the Hermu straight, take the oil
11:05and make a fortune. It would be a gusher for the world.
11:08Keep the oil, anyone? Our military, the greatest and most powerful by far anywhere in
11:14the world, hasn't even started destroying what's left in Iran.
11:17Bridges next, then electric power plants.
11:20New regime leadership knows what has to be done and has to be done fast.
11:25Big day in Iran. Many long sought after targets have been taken out and destroyed
11:30by our great military, the finest and most lethal in the world.
11:34If Iran doesn't fully open without threat, the Strait of Hermu's within 48 hours.
11:38From this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate
11:42their power plants, starting with the biggest one.
11:45First, I'm pleased to report that the United States of America and the country of
11:48Iran have had over the last two days very good and productive conversations regarding a
11:53complete and total resolution of our hostilities.
11:56That's when he wanted to manipulate the market.
11:58And then Donald Trump's like, I will postpone my intended strikes pending our communications and
12:05our negotiations. And there were none.
12:08I mean, the Trump regime has been rolling out Paula White Kang, this religious radical
12:13who like runs the faith group of Donald Trump, which is like the White House
12:18faith leader. And again, she frames things in terms of like, you know, you know,
12:23holy wars and religious wars.
12:25And and then she also is like, people don't know how religious Donald Trump is.
12:29He went to Saturday and Sunday school three times a week.
12:32She says three times a week.
12:34Oh, Laura, as you said, this is probably my favorite subject to talk about.
12:38First off, to give honor to God and to President Trump for being bold and
12:42unwavering with this faith. Many people don't know, like you do and and say hello
12:47to Eric and everyone in the family about the upbringing of President Trump that he
12:52went to sometimes three times a week to, he said it depended on the teacher,
12:58to Saturday school, Sunday school, church.
13:01It was at Norman Vincent Pills.
13:03Church was a big part of his life, of course.
13:06Then you have Lindsey Graham saying the following when he was asked this question.
13:11Here, play this, Clint. Well, Senator, how are you doing?
13:14How are you doing? Is there a foreign war you don't support?
13:17I support wars that make America safe.
13:19Thank you, sir. You know, meanwhile, you have the leader of Iran's parliament putting out
13:26the following comment. If Iran does not receive a credible signal by today, he wrote
13:31this yesterday. So today of Trump reconsidering an attack on Iran's infrastructure, it Iran will
13:37preemptively, irreversibly, and on a massive scale, target Saudi electricity and oil production infrastructure, as
13:43well as that of the Israeli regime.
13:45Iran has so far refrained from exercising this option in order to avoid entering an
13:51irreversible infrastructure war and a Ukrainization of the region.
13:55But the time for this restraint will end in the next 24 hours.
14:00The spokesperson for Iran's foreign ministry responds to Donald Trump's use of this civilization clash
14:06language and says, Throughout history, Iranians have been the guardians of Verdansi and Cyprus.
14:13Today, as well, every Iranian drawing from the deep -rooted wisdom embedded in their culture
14:17and a meaningful practice suited to their error plants a tree.
14:21Let the darkness lost in the delusion of understanding today and planning for tomorrow descend
14:27into the ravings of the Stone Age.
14:29The nation of love plants a sapling of green that will spread its branches and
14:34leaves to tomorrow. Destroying the great bridges, which stand as steadfast symbols of ingenuity, commitment,
14:41and tireless efforts of Iranian engineers and workers, does not elevate the saboteurs.
14:46This war crime in the style of ISIS terrorists, accompanied by similar attacks on vital
14:52infrastructure in Iran, makes an undeniable truth even more evident.
14:56Their ultimate goal is destruction of Iran, a goal that they have relentlessly pursued for
15:01five decades. But Iran today stands firmer, prouder, and greater than ever.
15:06And then they were posting photos like this of Donald Trump disintegrating.
15:10And then we saw the strikes.
15:12We saw Iranian strikes on Kuwaiti infrastructure, Iranian strikes on Bahrain's infrastructure.
15:20The Bahrainian petroleum company, BAPCO, was hit hard.
15:25Folks, things are escalating. And as you heard before, Donald Trump's strategy here seems to
15:30be the worst possible option.
15:32And I agree that it's the worst possible option.
15:34I mean, what the hell is he doing?
