1:07Make sure you subscribe to the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get
1:11your podcasts. Does Trump have a massive breakthrough in the Iran war?
1:17Has he gotten the concession necessary to wrap this whole thing up and take a
1:25victory lap along with it?
1:27Let's dive into that. Also, ICE deployed to airports.
1:32Linda the caller on Clay Ann Buck changing the course of American history.
1:37Even on the late -night talk shows, they are paying homage of sorts to Linda's
1:43brilliance. We will talk about that as well.
1:45But let's first start with this.
1:47President Trump saying earlier today that Iran has agreed to his biggest demand.
1:53He says, quote, They will never have a nuclear weapon.
1:57They've agreed to that. Now, Tehran is not saying this publicly, so it's not yet
2:04confirmed. Here's something you've got to know about Trump.
2:06The way he negotiates is to just have a constant fusillade of carrots and sticks.
2:17It's threats and sweet, sweet nothings and sweet inducements.
2:22And, you know, it's promises of good things.
2:25It's retribution, bad things on the other side.
2:28But he just off -balances anybody who tries to put him into a corner.
2:35Nobody puts Trump in a corner.
2:36And that's what he's doing with the Iranian interlocutors here or the people that are
2:41on his behalf negotiating. But understand this.
2:44He knows that every public statement is part of that negotiation too, right?
2:49Trump's public pronouncements. When he goes and says, Hey, if Iran doesn't do the following,
2:55I'm going to bomb them even more to smithereens, he might say that in the
3:00White House to a bunch of reporters.
3:01The Iranian regime is seeing that too.
3:05They're very aware of this.
3:06And they know that a promise that he is making to his supporters, to his
3:11voters, to the American people, is something that they have to take into account among
3:17all the other things going on as well.
3:19So this is how Trump does Trumpism when it comes to the international stage.
3:27And if he has gotten an agreement that there's no nukes, what I would want
3:31to know is how do you enforce that?
3:36Or I guess you'd have to have some very specific step -by -step program of
3:43intrusive inspections. I'm not really sure, honestly.
3:49No one seems to be really sure.
3:50He says, Trump has clear he wants Iran to give up all of its nuclear
3:54material down to the nuclear dust.
3:56We want the nuclear dust, he says.
3:58We're going to want that.
3:59That was what he told reporters earlier yesterday, I should say.
4:05Department of War gearing up to send thousands of troops from the 82nd Infantry Division,
4:1282nd Airborne, to the Middle East.
4:14Pentagon expected to announce this 3 ,000 -person brigade combat team to be deployed.
4:20That's the Wall Street Journal reporting.
4:22So, look, this is a group that can, this is a military instrument, a military
4:30unit that can get things going very quickly and can deploy a full brigade within
4:3672 hours. So, now we're seeing where I think Trump is trying to take all
4:43of this, which is to get some kind of an agreement from Iran that will
4:47lead to a de -escalation of our kinetic strikes, effectively our air campaign, the one
4:52-way war of sorts that's going on right now, and then to continue to just
4:59move forward into a better place for the region and a malacracy that is defanged
5:07is the term you keep hearing over and over again.
5:10It seems to me that regime change has essentially been, it's not taken off the
5:17table, but that's not a condition, that's not an ultimate goal anymore of what's going
5:22on here. It's just to make sure that Iran...
5:24cannot realistically in any time frame get a nuclear weapon.
5:30Now, part of this is going to be how much of the nuclear know -how
5:35do the Iranians still have?
5:36Once the oil starts flowing and the bank accounts start getting filled again in Tehran,
5:43then they're going to start building this stuff up.
5:46I'm wondering how a promise to never get a nuclear weapon if you're the mullahs.
5:53I mean, the problem isn't so much that we don't want anyone to have a
5:57nuclear weapon in Iran. It's we don't want the people that are currently in charge
6:01in Iran. We don't want the Islamic Revolution and the IRGC and these mullahs and
6:07these wackos to have their finger on the nuclear button.
6:12So the issue to me seems to be more the user even than the tool,
6:17in a sense, because eventually I don't see how we can continue to prevent Iran
6:24from having nuclear capability down the line if they want to keep pursuing it.
6:29At some point, they'll get to a breakthrough status unless we think they're so mic'd
6:32up and our surveillance and intelligence on them is so good, which maybe it is
6:36now, considering we blew up a whole meeting full of all their top leadership.
6:40And the Israelis clearly have mapped out the Iranian human and physical and geographical terrain.
6:48But Trump is saying there's a breakthrough.
6:50Is there a breakthrough? It could be part of his gamut here as well.
6:54This could be Trump doing what Trump does, which is just constantly shift the grounds
7:01of the discussion. And he may say there's a breakthrough today and there could be
7:05a whole lot of bombing tomorrow.
7:06Got to get the Strait of Hormuz open.
7:09Have to get to a place where things are moving to a conclusion here with
7:16this Iran conflict. Now, our sponsor is Birch Gold.
7:20Look, look what's going on with the Strait of Hormuz.
7:22A lot of uncertainty out there.
7:23And when that happens, you know what happens with gold?
7:26Price goes up. Gold is a store of value, particularly in times of economic uncertainty,
7:33global upheaval. So buying some gold right now would seem to make a whole lot
7:37of sense. And you could even have gold in a tax shelter retirement account if
7:41that's what you want to do, if that's right for you.
7:44Birch Gold can help you convert an existing IRA or 401k into an IRA in
7:49gold. Just text my name, Buck, to 989898 to receive your free info kit on

8:04Now, I got to say, I love this deployment of ICE officers.
8:08Now, this comes, Trump says it's his idea.
8:10Okay. And he's the guy, he's the decider.
8:13So, in a sense, it is his idea because he had to implement this and
8:16go forward with it. And maybe he had the idea before.
8:19But Linda on our show, as we have been talking about, while Clay was taking
8:24calls on Friday and I was driving up to a book event, Linda called in
8:29with this brilliant idea of why don't you deploy ICE to the airports to help
8:32out. It has happened. 72 hours from phone calling to Clay and Buck to the
8:36White House has the executive branch authority given to DHS to put ICE officers in
8:43airports to help out with all of the backlog of travelers trying to get through
8:48these TSA checkpoints. This is a brilliant maneuver and it's exactly the kind of problem
8:55solving that you want to see from the Trump administration.
8:57So, I am loving this.
8:59And also the fact that they're using this as an opportunity so that the American
9:04people can see ICE just being helpful, just doing jobs on behalf of the taxpayer,
9:09of Americans, right, doing things.
9:11They're handing out water, they're holding spots in line for people that have kids and
9:16that they have to take them to the restroom because the lines are still very
9:20long in some places, but ICE are just there to help out.
9:22Now, I wonder if there's going to be more ICE enforcement operations going on too
9:26at these airports, but for right now, the primary mission is clearly to make these
9:32lines shorter. And I just have to say, for the American people, for anyone who's
9:38paying attention to this, it should be so clear that the Democrats are really, their
9:44position on so much, their position on all of this stuff is, if we can't
9:50be in power, we will do anything to make the American people miserable.
9:55We will do anything we can to inflict pain and then blame the people who
10:02are in charge because they couldn't stop the pain that Democrats are inflicting and just
10:07hope that this is enough to give them control of the House and the midterms.
10:11They have nothing else. You'll notice they have no ideas.
10:14They want to pretend like they're the health care party.
10:16You know, they're better at health care.
10:18Obamacare is an abject failure.
10:20And the most, it's like the Inflation Reduction Act that didn't stop inflation at all.
10:26Obamacare, the Affordable Care Act, made health care unaffordable.
10:30It did the exact opposite of what the name of the law promised to the
10:35American people. And of course, what Obama promised and all the rest of it.
10:38The whole thing is a farce.
10:40It's preposterous. It's made health care worse for everyone.
10:44And because there's just a refusal to understand that the government isn't going to make
10:50this better and the government isn't going to make it more.
10:52And really what you're supposed to have here is a bureaucracy of so -called experts
10:58and technocrats taking health care from you and giving it to other people, including illegal
11:02aliens, including people who just arrived here.
11:05So you might have to wait in your local ER for six hours if you
11:09fall off a ladder and you really need help.
11:11But you can sleep well at night knowing that your very high taxes are going
11:15to give illegals, you know, heart transplant surgery as soon as they arrive in this
11:19country. You know what I'm saying?
11:20I mean, it costs about a million dollars, by the way, for a heart transplant,
11:23maybe more than that now.
11:25That's the cost of that kind of a surgery.
11:27So, yeah, you would think that more Americans would just be waking up to this.
11:32But so much of this stuff with politics is just a function of tribal allegiance
11:37for people. You know, I'm on team good guy because I vote Democrat.
11:40I'm a nice person. I vote Democrat.
11:42It doesn't even matter. You look at the results of the Trump anti -crime surge
11:48in places like D .C.
11:49and Memphis. Huge success. Huge success.
11:53Something as objective as fewer people are dead, fewer people got shot because of Trump's
11:59utilization of federal law enforcement resources.
12:03He was right. The critics were wrong.
12:05They don't care. They don't care.
12:08And on immigration and customs enforcement, they just don't want there to be.
12:13First of all, the the the American people rejected Biden ism, which is just pure
12:18open border disaster. Ten million people coming into the country, the biggest, worst open border,
12:24a complete catastrophe for America.
12:27That's what happened under Biden.
12:29The American people clearly rejected that, rejected Kamala Harris in 24.
12:33But now the whole game is, oh, no, we want immigration enforcement.
12:37Democrats say we just want it to be nicer.
12:39We just we want we want to see the faces of the ICE officers.
12:43We want to have everybody who's going to get deported, even if they're a heinous
12:46criminal and an illegal alien.
12:48We want to have five hearings, 10 hearings.
12:51It's going to it's got to take for Democrats will say they agree on enforcing
12:56immigration law. It's just going to take 10 years to deport one person.
13:00Every single person has got to take years and years and years, which effectively makes
13:05it impossible. That's the whole point.
13:07This is what they're doing.
13:08This is Alinsky stuff. This is abuse the system.
13:12This is make everybody else miserable.
13:16And and that's what they're doing.
13:19So, you know, this is overwhelm the system.
13:23And it's just the most obvious stuff with Democrats.
13:27Anyway, they're appalling. And that's how I feel about that.
13:31That's for sure. Pure Talk is my cell phone company.
13:35And I choose them because their service is so good.
13:37Their customer service is great.
13:38And their pricing redefined the industry for the benefit of all.

14:06Pure Talk stands for, or support them by switching your cell phone service to them,

14:12That's how you make the switch from your cell phone company to Pure Talk.
