2:00Donald Trump's disastrous, unlawful, and catastrophic war in Iran continues to get worse.

2:08Matters continue to escalate in the Middle East, while Donald Trump continues to lie and

2:15talk about fake negotiations that he claims he's having with Iran, only for within minutes,

2:22Iran to mock Donald Trump and the United States and say we're not having any

2:27negotiations. And Iran also saying the fact that you're making up negotiations, or even if

2:34you wanted to have negotiations when you previously were talking about regime change, doesn't that

2:41show that you are in the weaker position here, that you keep on talking about

2:46this? Didn't you say we totally surrendered?

2:48So how could there be total obliteration and total surrender if you want to send

2:54your highest level officials to try to speak with us, and we don't want to

2:59talk with you? That's literally what the foreign minister of Iran, Oragji, has been saying.

3:05There's no negotiations, and it's showing how desperate you are to negotiate with us.

3:11And it happened again moments ago, right, where Donald Trump posted on his social media

3:16platform as per Iranian government request.

3:20Please let this statement serve to represent that I am pausing the period of energy

3:26plant destruction. by 10 days to Monday, April 6th, 2026 at 8 p .m.

3:32Eastern time. Talks are ongoing and despite erroneous statements to the contrary by the fake

3:38news media and others, they are going very well.

3:42Thank you for your attention to this matter, Donald J.

3:44Trump. So then you have G .B.

3:47Goluboff, the head of Iran's parliament, basically posting memes back at Donald Trump and the

3:54White House of little children looking very confused at some of the deranged statements that

4:00Donald Trump and his regime are making.

4:02You have Iranian leaders telling media sites like DropSite and others, Donald Trump is not

4:10being truthful in his earlier posts on his social media platform, announcing an additional five

4:16-day pause on his threat to bomb Iranian energy infrastructure at the request of Iran,

4:22with one Iranian official stating, Trump is not being truthful.

4:26We have not submitted any requests regarding potential U .S.

4:30attacks. Folks, look what's taking place, though, in the region.

4:35Donald Trump and his regime have sent thousands of Marines on the USS Tripoli.

4:40Other ships are coming in from San Diego and elsewhere.

4:43The 86 Airborne Division is coming in from Fort Bragg.

4:47There are special operations forces heading into the Middle East, preparing for a ground invasion

4:53of Card Island. Previously, you had top Iranian officials saying, we are monitoring the movements

5:00of these American ships and soldiers.

5:04And then Iran was posting memes like, come closer.

5:07We've been waiting for this for two decades.

5:10Come closer, American soldiers. We are ready for you.

5:14And also posting memes with Donald Trump presenting or getting presents or gifts from the

5:22Iranian regime because Trump's like, they gave me a gift.

5:24And like the Iranian cartoonist in the gifts are showing Iranian soldiers kicking Donald Trump

5:29in the face. Also, we know that Iran has stated through their local military outlets

5:36and their regime media that more than one million fighters in Iran have been preparing

5:42for a ground battle with the U .S.

5:44This, according to the Tasnim News Agency.

5:48And also, you have Foreign Minister Aragji taking to their regime media over there.

5:57And he said, no nation in history has stood for nearly a month against the

6:01greatest nuclear armed power on Earth and stopped them from achieving a single goal.

6:06This is a point of pride for all humanity.

6:09This Foreign Minister Aragji from Iran said, there are no negotiations taking place.

6:15The fact that the U .S.

6:17is now even talking about negotiations is an admission of defeat.

6:21Didn't they say unconditional surrender?

6:23Didn't they say they don't care about the Strait of Hormuz and it doesn't matter?

6:27So if this was all the case and we're obliterated, why are they mobilizing their

6:31highest officials to even negotiate if we're done, if we don't exist in the first

6:36place? This Iranian foreign minister says, for countries we have identified as friends, we're allowing

6:41them to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, China, Russia, India, Iraq, and Pakistan.

6:46Meanwhile, Iraq's Shiite militias have been given permission by the Iraqi government to target U

6:52.S. forces and to target U .S.

6:55interests and other Arab nations after U .S.

6:58airstrikes killed this Shiite militia that is attached and works with the Iraqi army.

7:04And so the war of the Iraqi army that has got a high space in

7:05the U .S. government to target U .S.

7:06forces. And so the U .S.

7:06spreading there. In addition, Iran saying there's no reason to allow our enemy to pass

7:12through the Strait of Hormuz.

7:14The enemy must learn a lesson never to dare attack again.

7:18And the damages to the Iranian people must be compensated.

7:22International guarantees are not 100 % guarantees.

7:26The intrinsic guarantee we have created ourselves means no one dares to go to war

7:31with the Iranian people anymore.

7:33No negotiations are taking place and a ceasefire without guarantees is a vicious cycle that

7:39repeats the war. Many foreign ministers in the region have contacted us in Tehran and

7:44Iran's stance has been principled and firm.

7:47This war clarifies many facts and for Middle East nations, it clarifies that if you

7:52have American military bases in your countries, it makes you less safe and it makes

7:56you targets for wars such as this.

8:00In addition, you had another top military official in Iran, Moshin Razi, senior military advisor

8:08to the new Ayatollah, saying as follows.

8:11If their air power, which is their main force, has not yielded results, what are

8:16they expecting from a ground operation?

8:18Are American soldiers really ready to die for Israel?

8:22I guess we'll see. Meanwhile, it's being reported that the U .S.

8:26interceptor stockpile has been depleted for a three to eight year period.

8:32We've also heard from Israeli generals who are saying that this is a red alert

8:39in terms of their ability to marshal much more munitions and weapons and soldiers.

8:47They're running out right now.

8:50And so they're worried there.

8:51And I think Iran sees this while Donald Trump continues to have these imaginary negotiations

8:57with himself. Let's bring in Brett and Jordy.

8:59I know an extensive intro there, but I think I had to set the foundation

9:03for really where we are right now in this very peculiar, unique, scary, disastrous, deranged

9:13moment in American history. Brett, let me toss it over to you.

9:22on the audio podcast. It's always great to be here reporting the news, analyzing it,

9:26and doing all of that.

9:28I'd add, in addition to the words you use, Ben, a very precarious situation and

9:32a situation that's being made worse every, I'd say, day, hour, minute, second by Donald

9:37Trump and all of his statements just look so weak, honestly, and so desperate.

9:42It's hard not to see the desperation with every single post that Donald Trump puts

9:46out there. He's trying to act like he has all of this leverage.

9:50He's trying to act like all these negotiations are going on.

9:53He's trying to act like Iran is giving him things.

9:55But the data don't lie, and the data shows that he does lie.

9:59And that's the issue that he keeps running into.

10:02And I just, I really don't know if he realizes that when he says all

10:08of these things and makes all of these threats, that it does not show him

10:12in a position of strength, but a position of weakness.

10:15And especially when you take, for example, that post that he made that Iran just

10:20a few minutes later said, yeah, that's a complete and total lie.

10:22When Trump said, as per Iranian government request, I mean, when he started it off

10:28like that, I was like, I was probably BS right here.

10:31And why even put that lie forward if you know that they are going to

10:36refute it just moments later.

10:39Announcements like this, as we, you know, as, as the trade deals, all this stuff,

10:43they're normally announced by. both parties at the same time for a reason.

10:47You don't just have one side do it and then another side refute you, but

10:50here we are. And our troops are being put in harm's way right now.

10:54This is just such an absolute disgrace.

10:57There are millions of people being displaced throughout the Middle East due to these wars.

11:02So many innocent people getting killed.

11:05We have our troops now, I believe 13 bases now, military bases across the Middle

11:10East, uninhabitable right now due to Iranian attacks.

11:14And these are things that the Trump administration, they're ignoring, they're pretending is not happening.

11:19And our troops now are forced to basically fight this war, many of them from

11:23like hotels and from remote areas.

11:27And that's now endangering the lives of additional innocent people because Iran's going, if your

11:32troops are staying in hotels, guess what?

11:34Those hotels are now targets because you're using them as military bases.

11:38So this situation continues to expand as Donald Trump tries to pretend like he has

11:43a handle on it. He does not at all.

11:46We are inching every minute right now towards what looks like Trump is leaning heavily

11:52towards a ground invasion of Karg Island.

11:55You have Iran saying that they are prepared, that they fortified the island.

11:59They have a million troops ready to go.

12:01This could be a very, very bad situation.

12:05I mean, taking a bad situation and making it even worse.

12:09But, you know, we'll dive into all the details.

12:11First, I got to pass it over to Jordy.

12:12Jordy, what's the latest? What's up, brothers?

12:15What's up, Midas Mighty? This is bad.

12:17Yeah, it's going to continue to get worse.

12:19Donald Trump is being played like a fiddle here.

12:21He's the world's worst negotiator.

12:25And he may be the world's single worst communicator.

12:28American troops are dying. Like that's all that it comes back to for me.

12:32American troops are dying because of the incompetency that we're seeing from the Trump regime.

12:36It's absolutely appalling and pathetic.

12:39And it's disgraceful because it also seems like the Republican Party, MAGA, Donald Trump, that

12:43they don't give a damn about the American troops.

12:45And that to me, I mean, it should infuriate everyone.

12:50It looks like this war is about to get escalated, Brett, to your point as

12:52well. And again, there's no plan.

12:55There's no planning. He's not negotiating of how to make this better for everyone, how

12:59to make better for America.

13:01He is being played like an absolute fiddle.

13:03He is an incompetent buffoon.

13:05He couldn't be more of the worst person to be in charge of who's in

13:09charge right now, leading us into a disaster.

13:11It's like watching a train in slow motion that's about to like head on to

13:16another train. And you just want to be able to shake someone and like wake

13:19you up from this bad dream.

13:20But here we are. And we have a lot to get into today.

13:23Benji, where do you want to get started?

13:25No, I was speaking with my wife this morning and we were talking and she

13:29said, well, you know, that's Easter weekend.

13:31And I said, wow, it's Easter already.

13:32I mean, that it's coming up in just a little bit.

13:36And then it reminded me as well about the founding of Midas Touch, right?

13:42This past week, Midas Touch officially turned sixth or sixth anniversary here at the Midas

13:48Touch Network. And I think about starting this when me, Brett and Jordy were scared

13:54at home with all of Donald Trump's deranged press conferences during COVID, lying to the

14:01American people as he would continue to say, hey, it's going to go away by

14:05Easter. Remember, his big first thing was by, you know, we basically have no cases

14:09here. It's all going to be fine.

14:11By Easter, it's all going to go away.

14:13And it's going to be magical because we can all celebrate this miracle on Easter.

14:18It was always about Easter, Easter, Easter.

14:20So when my wife mentioned Easter, I'm like, wow, first off, I couldn't, I can't.

14:23I believe we're already basically in April at this point, but he's doing the same

14:27thing, except this time, and excuse the crude analogy, because I'm not trying to make

14:34it perfectly analogous, but this other force this time, last time with COVID, COVID didn't

14:40talk. COVID didn't say, not true, Donald.

14:42We're going to spread. We're going to keep on getting worse, Donald.

14:45We're going to stop you.

14:46We could see what was happening.

14:49We could see Donald Trump was lying, but COVID didn't really have a voice other

14:53than in the deaths and its spread and what was happening, and we could observe

14:58it and say, whoa, what Trump is saying, inject yourself with bleeds and that things

15:03are looking great. Well, whoa, that's not happening.

15:05See, this time, Trump has manufactured, by doing this unlawful invasion with Netanyahu, a crisis

15:12of epic proportion, both in terms of humanity, individuals being killed, as well as economically,

15:19America is in a catastrophic economic condition right now, despite Donald Trump.

15:24This is an excursion and everything's going to be good.

15:27That's his one. It's an excursion.

15:29It's an excursion. But this time, the other side talks, right?

15:33The Iranians have a voice, and they're out there in a very organized and methodical

15:39way, planning their responses that we hear publicly, and they're saying things like, come closer,

15:47we're ready for war. We don't agree with that.

15:49They're making appearances on their own regime media.

15:52They're making appearances on American, British, Australian media, and they are communicating positions.

16:00They're demonstrating that not only do they have a leadership structure in place, but their

16:05leadership structure right now is actually more extreme.

16:09They're doing memes, and they're mocking Donald Trump on a daily basis, taking advantage of

16:14kind of the modern digital age.

16:19And you are, you know, even when things that are like the Strait of Hormuz,

16:24right, you have Iran's parliament proposing a plan that's under legal review by like their

16:33Department of Legal Studies or whatever.

16:35I mean, I was fascinated to read this about the legality of charging additional tolls

16:41through the Strait of Hormuz, because now Iran controls it with an iron fist.

16:46Now, when ships that are from allied nations pass, Iran charges money the same way,

16:51say, in the Suez Canal, there are fees that are paid there.

16:55And there's deliberation over, you know, the, you know, the passage of legislation regarding the

17:03Strait of Hormuz, you know, and so they, they have a leadership structure that is

17:09actually far more extreme. They have a leadership structure where you have like their ambassadors

17:15to places like South Africa, who are out there posting memes, mocking Donald Trump when

17:21Trump's like, me and the Ayatollah will control the Strait of Hormuz together.

17:26And they post like a meme of like the main steering wheel in a car

17:29and then like a baby steering wheel saying, all right, we'll do this together.

17:33Me and the Ayatollah. And like, they're mocking, they're mocking Donald Trump like that.

17:38And so we, we could observe what is happening.

17:41And then the same way in COVID, Donald Trump would just continue to make things

17:46worse and worse and worse and worse and worse.

17:48I mean, over here, you, we know that Russia is providing material support to Iran,

17:55providing drones, providing, providing satellite imagery, providing.

18:01resources to iran um and donald trump's response to that is to remove sanctions against

18:08russia to remove sanctions against belarus to remain here might be right here one second

18:14baby well i'll i'll i'll pass it to you but right now i'll pass it

18:21to you brett and she i mean she is riled up about all this i

18:25could i i could tell to be involved in this episode that's for sure and

18:28even is knocking on there she wants to come in she wants to see she

18:31wants to see the mightest mighty she wants to see her dad that's the energy

18:35we need well i'll say this i'll take ben's analogy and i'll like say that

18:38you could probably put the covet calendar alongside donald trump's war in iran and it

18:45could match up like one -to -one in a very eerie way and so i'll

18:49take a quote for example that i just dug up quote from march 2020 hey

18:54what is it right now march 2026 by the way brothers can't believe we've been

18:59doing this for six years that's crazy everyone has been with us since then and

19:04everyone who has uh just joined us uh but donald trump said in march 2020

19:08let let me know if you think this sounds familiar we're prepared we're doing a

19:12great job great job with it and it will go away just stay calm it'll

19:16go away it'll go away clearly did not go away that reminds me donald trump

19:20now just has new language to say the same things donald trump said don't be

19:23a panicking don't be a panic everything's going to be fine don't be a panic

19:27and we're winning we're winning this thing it's 15 cases it's going down to zero

19:31this thing's going to be gone by easter just like donald trump said but it

19:35looks like we're seeing you know with every passing day i think you see trump's

19:40frustration through all of this and that's where you see the desperation coming out of

19:45these tweets and all of these all the commentary and the scolding of the media

19:50you're not covering it right why won't you cover the winds you're you're acting like

19:54we're losing this thing that people are just covering the truth right now man it

19:58reminds me of when people so when when trump complains you know 90 of the

20:03you know coverage about me is bad yeah because you do mostly horrible things basically

20:08all everything that you do is horrible so the reporting about that is going to

20:12reflect you who are who is a putrid human being okay well we're seeing that

20:17now and right now there's no real end game for this donald trump's back is

20:22against the wall when someone's back is against the wall they try if you're in

20:28a if you're if you're playing football what do you do if you are probably

20:33gonna lose you're all the way on the other teams you know you're all the

20:36way on your goal line you have no other options you got to throw a

20:39hail mary and i think donald trump right now is preparing to throw a hail

20:43mary in this i think it's why you see all of these troops gathering to

20:47invade karg island i think we're now seeing reports that the pentagon thinks that if

20:52we just have one more fatal blow against the iranians they will surrender they will

20:58surrender and we will win this thing but we've seen that that's not the case

21:02that's not how you get rid of regimes that's not how you do this and

21:07it's not how you win the hearts and minds of the people either remember the

21:10people who took to the streets the brave iranians who took to the streets to

21:14try to fight for democracy who called for trump's help who trump said get out

21:17there protest we got your back and then they did and then they got slaughtered

21:22and trump did nothing and then bombed a school of innocent people all of this

21:27stuff just plays into the iranian propaganda it further entrenches people with the regime and

21:33it does everything against the united states's interests in the region so i worry with

21:39trump back against the wall that he is preparing this Hail Mary.

21:43He often does things like this on a Friday.

21:45I'm not going to make a prediction that it's definitely going to happen tomorrow or

21:49anything like that. But if passed, you know, as prologue, I think that it's certainly

21:55possible that we see some sort of ground invasion this weekend.

21:58I don't know. But Trump keeps inventing these fake conversations with Iranian officials that we

22:03know through reporting are likely just made up just total and complete fabrications.

22:07The Iranians keep denying it every time.

22:11Trump looks weaker. Our troops are put in harm's way.

22:14And I'll just make this very basic point.

22:16The United States does not send all of these individuals to the Middle East, all

22:23of this firepower to the Middle East if they don't plan on using it.

22:27Exactly. I love when you and Ben do sports analogies.

22:30It's very on brand for the both of you to do sports analogies.

22:34But it's a very apt analogy.

22:37And what it comes down for me, Brett and Ben, there's no steady hand on

22:41the wheel here, right? Like no one is overseeing this process in like a way

22:48that is giving me any sense of calmness as an individual here.

22:51Like I'm worried about attacks domestically.

22:54I'm worried again for our troops, right?

22:56Again, they're getting ready or preparing, it seems like, for this ground invasion.

22:59How many more U .S.

23:00troops are going to die?

23:01I thought we won. Isn't the communication from the White House that we won?

23:04And then it goes to show to the two types of media that frankly exist

23:08at this current time period, where, you know, Trump tweets out that truth social post,

23:13that true social post or whatever, talking about how these negotiations are going great.

23:17You know, they wanted me to put this out there.

23:19And Fox News is just going to run with that, like as if it's gospel.

23:22And likely a lot of media, corporate media is just going to pick that up.

23:26A lot of nightly news will likely pick that up and run that like it's

23:29gospel, not seeing the clear pushback from the other side saying, hey, this isn't true.

23:34And so it's more important than ever too, especially, you know, talking about our six

23:38years here together as this community, that independent media continues to, you know, provide the

23:43receipts and the data, the information, the images here of what's actually going on, like

23:48what's factually going on. Don't be gaslit by anyone around you, especially corporate media into

23:53believing any of this that we're witnessing is normal.

23:57It's just simply not. And even beyond that, for me, it comes back to this

24:02one simple issue is that U .S.

24:03troops are going to die, apparently for a war that we've already won.

24:09What is the point of all this?

24:10Does anybody actually know? And that's where the outrage for me comes, Ben.

24:15Right. If we've already won, like Donald Trump said, why are we even sending troops

24:20there? Why don't we control the Strait of Hormuz?

24:25Why hasn't Iran leaders say we surrender?

24:29Why, you know, does Iran keep on striking its neighbors, right?

24:33You know, why does the U .S.

24:37and Israel continue to strike in Iran and in Lebanon and killing a lot of

24:42innocent people as well? You know, it's not just that Donald Trump lies, but there

24:50is an entire lie narrative world that he creates, right?

24:56With layers and layers to the lie, where he almost, not almost, where he does

25:03create this fictional world that has people doing things that they aren't doing, reacting to

25:10things that they aren't reacting to, having second and third and fourth level consequences in

25:16this made -up world. It's almost, two different people.

25:18If it has a whole table, go all and leave that up, Like he is

25:19like imagining like a Game of Thrones style world, right?

25:24And I'm not suggesting like it's Game of Thrones, but he's creating this fictional world

25:29with these different characters that exist in it, where there's drama happening between the things.

25:34And it's so divorced from the reality of what's actually happening in the world.

25:40And if you want to say, well, what's one of his kind of superpowers, and

25:45I don't mean this in a complimentary way.

25:47I mean this in a deranged sociopathic cult leader way, is that he tries to

25:52force people and many times succeeds in bending to this other reality that isn't the

25:59real world. That's a fiction.

26:00He bends reality to this fake thing where you then have people like Maga Mike

26:06Johnson and Senator Thune and all of these people around him, you know, who then

26:11behave in this world and play these roles where he like dresses them up and

26:16buys, you know, these Florensheim shoes for them that don't fit him.

26:20And they walk around with shoes that he buys them and they build gold statues.

26:25And then in this real world, you have our allies, our former allies, you have

26:31our enemies like existing in this world and they're not under this spell or this

26:37illusion. And they're looking at it like, dude, what the hell is it?

26:39What are you doing? Like, this is like some weird deranged cosplay world that you're

26:45in because in the real freaking world, Russia is working very closely with Iran to

26:51target American military bases with a great degree of success.

26:55The New York Times and others reports 13 American military bases in the Middle East

27:00have essentially been evacuated. And American soldiers have now been sent to, as Brett mentioned,

27:08various hotels within the region where they've been evacuated.

27:12Our entire security umbrella in the Middle East has been destroyed and it barely gets

27:17a peep. I mean, the New York Times writes about it, but it's kind of

27:20in passing. It's a pretty big deal that basically what all of our military bases

27:25in the Middle East have been abandoned because the Shahid drones and FPV drone strikes

27:30by Iran have been so successful.

27:32I mean, earlier today as well, while Donald Trump is making up this fictitious world

27:37that he's living in, where he's speaking with Iran and the conversations are going good,

27:40but we've totally defeated them and all of this deranged stuff.

27:43Iran has designated the Four Seasons, the Sheraton Hotels, the Presidential Palace in the Syrian

27:49capital, Damascus, and other areas as military targets, claiming the presence of American, Israeli, and

27:56British experts inside of these locations.

27:59You've got statements from Aragchi, the foreign minister earlier today of Iran saying, the wise

28:07stance of great religious authorities, the government, and the Iraqi people must be commended in

28:13condemning the aggression of the American and Zionist entities.

28:18You're offering of condolences for the martyrdom of the leader of the revolution, reflects the

28:23depth of strong ties between the two people and our hardship.

28:28You have Iran and Iraq coming stronger together as relationships, right?

28:33By the way, you have Turkey basically supporting Iran and telling others in the Middle

28:37East, do not get involved.

28:39And Iran's President Pazeshkian thanking Erdogan of Turkey.

28:45You have Iraq, as I mentioned before, their government greenlighting Iraqi Shiite militias to attack

28:51the Americans. So the wars basically spread to Iraq with the Iraqi army.

28:56isn't being reported a lot, attacking, you know, attacking Americans and Donald Trump's out there

29:01pursuant to my conversation with Iran.

29:05And then Donald Trump like treats NATO and Donald Trump's world.

29:09NATO's the bad guy, right?

29:11Donald Trump's post this morning, NATO nations have done absolutely nothing to help me with

36:36Also, Donald Trump posted this morning, Chuck Schumer, a desperate, crippled politician who has lost

36:42control of radical left Democrats, will make a deal now because he thinks that if

36:47he doesn't, Republicans will terminate the filibuster, something which they should do, whether he makes

36:53a deal or not. Now, regardless of what you think about Schumer, Schumer did not

36:56make a deal. That did not happen.

36:59Democrats are not funding the Department of Homeland Security, provided that ICE and Border Patrol

37:06get any more money without certain controls that are put on them.

37:10My own view, what Democrats in the Senate are asking for, is weak.

37:15I want to see ICE and Border Patrol be abolished.

37:19That's my position. If I was a senator, that would be my bright line.

37:23I wouldn't compromise from that.

37:25I'm not a senator. Nonetheless, I don't want to be a senator or a congressmember

37:30or a politician. I like what I'm doing here.

37:32I'm not going to run for office.

37:33But Democrats are like, OK, how about can you take off the masks?

37:39Can you not show up at polling stations during elections?

37:42Can you identify yourself? And can you use warrants, actual warrants like the Constitution requires?

37:48That's the Democrat position, right?

37:50To fund ICE and Border Patrol, which I think we'd all be like, if the

37:56Republicans did that deal or if Trump did that deal, we'd probably be like, that's

37:59pretty weak. I want to be just abundantly clear here, and I have to interrupt

38:04you. ICE is already funded, OK?

38:07ICE already has more money than it's ever had in its history.

38:12And by the way, ICE hasn't even been around that long.

38:15So the people who are like, how could we possibly abolish ICE?

38:19It's not this institution that's been here since the beginning of America.

38:22It's like a couple decades old.

38:25So spare me, OK? This is not even about that because ICE is already funded.

38:34But you know who did fold?

38:36It wasn't Chuck Schumer. It was Donald Trump because there's been so much pressure on

38:41this issue right here, this TSA issue.

38:43We've seen the long lines in the airports.

38:45We've seen all the chaos in the airports.

38:48We've seen Trump put these ICE agents in the airports.

38:50And brothers and might as many, have you seen what some of these ICE agents

38:54look like that they put in the airports?

38:56Like, are they hiring some of these kids out of middle school?

38:59I don't know if you've seen some of these pictures of some of the ICE

39:01agents who they actually have in the airports.

39:03It's completely, completely, completely bizarre.

39:06But this issue has been bubbling up, and it's been causing, honestly, a lot of

39:12people on both sides of the aisle right now, a ton of headaches because even

39:16a lot of Republicans realize how bad this is.

39:19It's bad for safety. It's bad for people's lives, people who are just trying to

39:24travel to their destination. It's bad for morale.

39:28People aren't getting paid. It's bad in so many ways, and it looks horrific for

39:33the Republican Party because they control all the levers of government.

39:36And people know, despite Donald Trump's lies, who is to blame for all of this?

39:41I mean, Ben, I know you said you prefer to have ICE abolished.

39:45Me too. But those are very reasonable demands from the Democrats that everybody should be

39:50able to agree to. We don't have secret.

39:52police in this country. We don't have masked Gestapo in this country.

39:56That's the bare freaking minimum that everybody should agree to.

39:59And the fact that they would not agree to that shows you how extreme that

40:03these people have become. But the truth is you had actually a decent amount of

40:08Republicans who said, we're willing to put that aside and vote on these standalone TSA

40:13bills because the Democrats, their smart strategy was, we're going to keep that aside.

40:17We're just going to keep putting on the floor bills to fund TSA on its

40:22own without going into the other stuff.

40:25And one time, two time, three time, four or five, six, seven, eight times, Republicans

40:30said, nope, we're not doing it.

40:32And the reason they said, nope, we're not doing it is because Donald Trump came

40:36out and Donald Trump said, don't you dare vote for that.

40:39Do not make a deal with them.

40:41Don't you dare make a deal with them.

40:43And it's a cult. So they all said, yes, sir.

40:45Yes, sir. Jordi, just like at the meeting today, where they just went to town,

40:51Mr. President, you're the best, you're the greatest, you're the best.

40:53That's how they govern. That's how they do everything.

40:56They don't care about the consequences.

40:57They don't care if it leads us into wars.

40:59They don't care if it leads us into chaos at airports, if people die from

41:02plane crash. They don't care what happens.

41:05And so we've seen this play out.

41:07The Republicans today were getting just so, you know, I think they reached their breaking

41:12point here because they kept trying to make deals with the Democrats behind the scenes.

41:16They go to the White House.

41:17Trump would go, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

41:19And so finally, Donald Trump announced on his Truth Social platform that he was signing

41:24an executive order that would tell DHS, the Department of Homeland Security, to pay TSA.

41:32And, you know, there's this long screed that he wrote.

41:35I'm not going to read it, but he blames Chuck Schumer, the radical left.

41:39He blames, I don't know, illegal aliens and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

41:43But I think this is, first off, it's a taco, right?

41:47Trump always chickens out. Trump surrendered here.

41:49He's the one who gave in.

41:50But I think it also shows you it's an admission that he could have been

41:54paying TSA all along. And so I think one of the great things about us

41:58having reporters on the ground now in DC, the way that they could actually ask

42:03these questions is we found out earlier today that Donald Trump has the authority, the

42:09Department of Homeland Security has the authority to pay TSA, and that all of these

42:13lies that they needed to pass anything right now were all bullshit.

42:17And so our reporters go in and actually ask the lawmakers that question, including Republican

42:23lawmakers. We heard that TSA could actually be paid right now if Donald Trump wants

42:29them to be paid. And so, for example, here is our Pablo Manriquez, our Washington

42:35correspondent who works for Migrant Insider.

42:37Here is Pablo Manriquez asking Tom Tillis, Republican senator, about this very issue.

42:44Senator, is it true that the secretary or interim secretary of DHS could be paying

42:48TSA right now? Rosa DeLauro raised that point over House side.

42:52That's one question we have.

42:54I think there is latitude to make the argument that they could.

42:57Yeah. And that may have to be a device that we use if we can't

43:00get to an agreement. Got it.

43:02Thank you, sir. I think there is enough latitude to make the argument that they

43:04could. And that may be a device we use if we can't reach an agreement.

43:09And they couldn't reach an agreement because Trump would not let them.

43:12But that ended up being the device that they were able to use.

43:15And it was due to relentless questioning of these lawmakers that they finally had to

43:19fold and say, oh, I guess, you know, once you admit that, you admit that

43:22you manufactured the whole crisis.

43:24And once Trump makes his post that says, I've decided to pay him, it shows

43:28again, you've manufactured this entire.

43:30by your crisis and the fact that he's manufacturing crises here at home domestically while

43:36he has manufactured these crises that are now very real and growing abroad shows that

43:43this guy is just all about crisis.

43:45He's all about destruction and pulling everybody into his web of just insanity.

43:51It's chaos for chaos sake.

43:53And for the life of me, I just can't wrap my head around it.

43:56I really cannot understand it, but it just comes back to this central, I guess,

43:59ethos to me. And that's the Republican Party, Donald Trump.

44:03They don't care about the American person.

44:05They really don't. They're quite literally using TSA.

44:08They use the American people.

44:10They use health care that as as political pawns, they use the American people as

44:17political pawns in this like weirdo dystopian chaotic game that I get.

44:23I don't understand why, because he's trying to make the Democrats somehow look bad like

44:28this is their fault. And meanwhile, we've known for all of this time that this

44:31is just some charade that he's trying to pull over.

44:36It makes no sense to me on such a human level why they don't want

44:39to help Americans, Ben. I will.

44:42If you're a nice person, Jordy, yes.

44:45If you're thinking about helping people and improving people's lives.

44:49Could you imagine how good this country really could be if we had politicians that

44:52actually gave a shit like about its citizens?

44:55It's right. But when they when they try, you're a communist Marxist fascist.

44:59Oh, you're going to tell me how it is like the far left group might

45:01as far left. The far left is hired.

45:05They're crazy. It's like, OK, we're just trying to get people health care.

45:07We're just trying to make life better.

45:09And we're just trying to stop these endless wars in the Middle East and stop

45:23But, Jordy, let me give you the the authoritarian mindset on chaos.

45:29It's not chaos for chaos sake.

45:31It's chaos for usurping power sake, because what happens in chaos, right?

45:37What happens to people in chaotic environments?

45:41They get scared. They get helpless.

45:44They need help. If you think about who are usually the best like targets for

45:51con artists to go after, it's usually elderly people or people who are coming out

45:58of a natural disaster, right, or something really traumatic has happened to them.

46:02And then people prey on those types of people.

46:05Why? Because they're vulnerable. They're looking for help and guidance.

46:10If someone promises things, they're more likely to let their guard down.

46:14So when you create chaotic environments, those are environments where people who are predators find

46:22that they're able to con people and subjugate people in a more easy way.

46:28And when you make people beg, and when you make people believe that they're hopeless

46:33and that they should just be accepting of breadcrumbs, you could dole that out while

46:41you are distracting people from things like all of your right wing oligarchs making huge

46:48amounts of money and pickpocketing these people and covering up the Epstein files and literally

46:55stealing from people. So that, Jordy, is the mindset behind creating chaotic environments in Trump's

47:03entire life life when he's bankrupted things and destroyed things.

47:07He personally has. always made out well from those things the people who get screwed

47:13were the people who trusted him the contractors the the investors the everybody who put

47:18money in with him right and so he's just doing that writ large right now

47:23with the united states of america he is i mean like you know taking all

47:28of the benefits and his kids are doing drone companies and making money there and

47:33then you know and so you have all of this happening while the american people

47:37are the ones who are getting screwed so so so that's what's happening there i

47:40mean i mean and look if you want to know also that that trump comment

47:46about we have a five -day pause where's that coming from is what the timing

47:50of it we know he lies about everything but but the markets today right i

47:54mean it's it's all it's all tied to this despite what donald trump tried to

47:59do to manipulate the markets uh on sunday and monday which he did remember all

48:03that insider trading 1 .5 billion dollars of insider trading that took place right before

48:09donald trump made the announcement of having a fake peace deal ironed out with iran

48:13which we all know was false right the price of oil people were shorting oil

48:18they knew the price was going to go down within minutes before trump made that

48:22announcement hundreds of millions of dollars were made by insiders right and then what happened

48:27here we are we're heading to friday it's the same pattern every week right we're

48:30heading to friday and right now the markets are going lower because they recognize that

48:35it was all a lot everything we predicted here was going to happen because it

48:39follows the same cycle and the same cycle of covid because it's donald trump's demented

48:44um decision making tree which is spooked today because the markets today had their worst

48:50day since the war began and so you know after that happened he's like i

48:54like i got i got to do something right now like so much of what's

48:58happening and and it's sick because this is a war with lives on the line

49:02but it feels like most of donald trump's decisions right now are being made by

49:08the markets by how scared he is of the markets or what the yields are

49:11looking like and i've actually seen their their analysts who put together essentially a taco

49:16chart that tracks the five -year yields and tracks the stock market and tracks all

49:22these other metrics and when they reach a certain point they've realized that's when donald

49:27trump vaults that's when he tacos and so we're seeing those same pressures right now

49:32go through the system today was one of those days and so that's why i

49:36think we saw donald trump's comments extending this pause to try to hope that he

49:41could you know trick the markets tomorrow morning but the markets are getting numb to

49:44it which is a predictable result as well right you can fool me once you

49:48can fool me twice you know you can fool frankly he fools the markets way

49:52more than actually gives me comfort because it's like really like we're doing this again

49:56but it's reflective of insiders making the money while regular folk are getting screwed and

50:02having to tap into their 401ks and you know and go and and and google

50:07how do i avoid foreclosure right now so regular people are the ones who are

50:11getting screwed by all of this um but again yeah you look at the markets

50:15you know taking donald trump does it and then at one point people are like

50:19you know what like okay this is just all bs like unless we see something

50:23change because systemically the oil ain't flowing out of the straight of her moves right

50:30the helium ain't coming out of the straight of her moves the fertilizer ain't coming

50:34out of the straight of her moves the liquefied natural gas right uh you know

50:39places like uh taiwan and other places in asia like they're like they're running out

50:45they're gonna have to ration um you know Australia.

50:48So I've seen, you know, videos out of Australia, you know, you know, real significant

50:52issues happening there, you know, just like we saw with COVID, right?

50:55It starts in countries and it starts to spread, spread, spread.

50:58It's the same. It's the same pattern.

51:01And the situation's getting worse.

51:03And here's the thing. Trump and his regime can view Iran as they don't have

51:08leaders. They don't know what they're doing.

51:10It's out of control. It's not the truth.

51:12That's not the truth. So I have to tell you the truth here.

51:14They have a leadership structure, a very complex mosaic style leadership structure where they have

51:20in advance three to five to seven people who replace somebody when they get killed.

51:25You kill Ali, Lar, and Johnny as your national security advisor.

51:28They bring in someone more extreme.

51:30The parliament in Iran is functioning.

51:32The Ayatollah is communicating with other decision makers at provincial levels.

51:37They have communications that are taking place.

51:39Those communications are happening and they see what Trump is doing.

51:44And they're like, wow. Like, I think they're like, oh my God, we've got them.

51:52We freaking got them. How?

51:57They're surprised. I think, yes, they've been preparing for this moment, but they see Israel

52:03losing interceptor munitions at an alarming rate for Israel.

52:08They see US interceptor munitions, which everybody warned was going to be a problem decreasing.

52:14They've done a strategic shift as well, where they're like, we don't need to release

52:19hundreds and hundreds of ballistic missiles.

52:21All we need to release is a few a day here, a few a day

52:24there, a few a day there, because it still creates the panic and the terror

52:27while we regroup, while Russia provides us with more Shahids, because Russia has its own

52:33Shahid plans. They're bringing that in through the Caspian Sea.

52:36That's why we're seeing Israel and Ukraine strike Russian ships in the Caspian Sea as

52:41well, because Russia's bringing it and Trump's helping Russia build out its Shahids that are

52:46being used to target the US while America's evacuating its bases.

52:50And Iran's like, obviously, if we have these discussions publicly, they're just going to try

52:56to find us and kill us.

52:58Why would we trust Whitcoff and Kushner again?

53:00We know what happens there.

53:02Why would we give ceasefires?

53:04Like, we finally, we finally have the US where we want them.

53:09That's what they're thinking. If you don't think they're thinking that, you're mistaken.

53:13I'm telling, that's what they're thinking right now.

53:14We've got them. And so they don't want to overplay their hand.

53:19But their view also is, we, in terms of our objectives, Trump's objectives, regime change,

53:27total obliteration, death from the sky, whatever it was, the Ayatollah was going to be

53:34my buddy, whatever the, that's not happening.

53:37So now the question for Iran is, what type of, if they're going to make

53:42a deal, they're going to keep the straight of her moves.

53:44They're going to turn it into a toll.

53:45They're going to assert more control over, you know, over their neighbors.

53:50And they're just watching and they go, holy shit, the US, excuse me, the US

53:54just threw everything they got at us.

53:57And we're here. And we're preparing.

54:01We're fine. I want to talk more about that when we come back.

54:03But that's the, we can do, here's the thing.

54:06That's the truth. That's the data.

54:08You may not like it, but that's the data.

54:09Now we can adapt to that data.

54:11We could try to figure it out.

54:13But the moment we live in Donald Trump's, and no offense to Game of Thrones

54:16or Game of Thrones, because I don't want to ruin that for you.

54:18But if we're in this other bizarro world, we're like, we're like shooting darts at

54:25the road. long location when the board is here and Iran and Iran and other

54:30nations are addressing this thing and Trump's out there in his fictitious world.

54:35So we're not actually, we're not thinking logically.

54:38And I think you got to address like the psychological aspects of it also, right?

54:42Like this is quite literally existential for Iran.

54:45Like this, they, you know, Donald Trump, you know, he did do a ground invasion

54:50win all, you know, whatever those objectives may be.

54:53Iran, you know, theoretically does not exist anymore.

54:57This Iranian regime, it's over.

54:59For the United States, this is a war of choice and this is a war

55:03of Donald Trump's choice. He pulled us in there.

55:05We had no reason to be there.

55:07We have no reason to be there right now.

55:09And so I think that also psychologically will play into this, you know, very much.

55:15And it's also created an existential crisis for so many countries in the region over

55:20there right now. And so there are just all these other forces at play.

55:25You have Donald Trump just projecting weakness with every single post.

55:29You have him getting angrier and angrier and trying to now build up and amass

55:33these forces in order to target Iran and the regime and these key sources.

55:39But then you have other people who understand this is existential and they say, okay,

55:43you do that. Well, we have the moves prepared.

55:46We, this is a game of chess.

55:48Donald Trump, you know, like Geordi has said before, Donald Trump doesn't play chess.

55:52He like eats the pieces and throws the board off, you know, but they do

55:56that. You know, they're going to go and they're going to work with the Houthis

55:59and they're going to block the Red Sea, right?

56:01They're going to start doing other things that are going to have another impact.

56:04And so I don't think Trump is even thinking that far ahead because Trump and

56:09all of his comments right now just seem woefully, woefully, woefully unprepared for what took

56:14place. I mean, for Trump to even admit, I think he said it today, today

56:18again, to admit, ah, then they started attacking this country and that country and Saudi

56:22Arabia and Qatar and Bahrain.

56:23And we didn't know that was going to happen.

56:25What do you mean he didn't know that was going to happen?

56:27I knew that was going to happen.

56:29I'm not president of the United States.

56:31I'm not privy to that intelligence, but I read the reporting.

56:34I read what Iran was saying before you invaded.

56:37They said they were going to do that.

56:38What do you mean he didn't know they were going to do that?

56:40So it's quite, honestly, quite like frightening that we have a guy now who entered

56:45this war and is not even thinking of what the basics are.

56:48And he just thinks that brute force and firepower can win this thing.

56:53But if you think that's the case, and I agree that the United States of

56:58America has the best weapons in the world, the most powerful military in the world,

57:02bar none. And those troops are incredibly skilled.

57:06But if you think that's all it takes to win a war overseas, let me

57:11exhibit A, I don't know, Vietnam.

57:14Should we go to Iraq?

57:16Should we go to Afghanistan?

57:17We could go to a long list of places where our leaders said the same

57:21thing. We got the best military, the best firepower, the best munitions.

57:25We could win this easily.

57:26It's going to be a piece of cake.

57:27We'll get in, we'll get out, done.

57:30Saying the same thing now, just a repeat of history.

1:04:12Like this. Ready? Iran hasn't requested a pause on energy site.

1:04:16Strikes. Mediators say. This is some of the latest that's out there from the Wall

1:04:21Street Journal. Despite today's announcement by Donald Trump, Iran has not requested a 10 -day

1:04:25pause on strikes against its energy plans from the United States and is yet to

1:04:30deliver a final response to the Trump administration's 15 -point plan to end the war,

1:04:35peace talk mediators tell the Wall Street Journal.

1:04:39So, you know, so Trump, with his newfound friends in Pakistan, are trying to reach

1:04:48out to Iranian people. Like, and that's why Iran is saying, if you think you've

1:04:53obliterated us, like, why are you even trying to negotiate with us?

1:04:56And I would have to guess also the job of the mediator is made much

1:05:04more difficult when Donald Trump goes and makes statements like that that aren't true for

1:05:09the mediator to then try to go and convince Iran to even have a conversation

1:05:16with the mediator in the first place because Iran's last experience with the mediator was.

1:05:21one picked by the United States, Oman's foreign minister, who after reaching basically a mediated

1:05:28resolution, which would have resulted in more technical talks on the first week of March,

1:05:36because this was in the end of February, that mediator, the Oman foreign minister went

1:05:41on CBS, went on TV, and then said, we have a deal, basically, we feel

1:05:46really good about this deal.

1:05:47Then Trump and Netanyahu hit Iran anyway.

1:05:50So Iran already feels pretty uneasy about dealing with mediators and being a part.

1:05:56And then Donald Trump's like, Iran gave us a request.

1:05:59And Iran is saying, the reason that you would even have a mediator say this

1:06:05publicly, just so you know, is sending a signal back to Trump, you're going to

1:06:10make this very difficult on us to be able to even have mediation and resolve

1:06:14this when you just go and you say this deranged stuff.

1:06:17Because one of the things that Iran feels is that Trump is doing all of

1:06:21this in order to figure out who they should kill or to buy more time

1:06:26for the ground invasion. And whether that's the plan or not the plan, the last

1:06:31time Donald Trump had a negotiation, that's what he keeps on doing.

1:06:34So they're like, why would we do this at all?

1:06:37Why would we even do this?

1:06:39So here's some of the latest news as well.

1:06:41And this is from Iran State Regime Media Fars News Agency.

1:06:46Iran is signaling, quote, special and unprecedented plans for the UAE and Bahrain.

1:06:52Iran's IRGC -linked Fars News Agency, citing an informed military source, reports Tehran has prepared,

1:06:58quote, special and unprecedented measures against the UAE and Bahrain in the event of any

1:07:04ground attack on Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf.

1:07:08The warning follows U .S.

1:07:10threats of a ground operation and alleged support from Gulf states, including hosting bases and

1:07:14providing infrastructure and advanced technologies.

1:07:17Tehran said any response would be very damaging and instructive.

1:07:22And specifically, an infographic that's been circulating on Iranian media outlines the key energy infrastructure

1:07:30across UAE, including power stations, nuclear facilities and solar hubs as potential targets in Dubai,

1:07:38in Abu Dhabi. And the report claims that strikes on these sites could trigger widespread

1:07:43blackouts and disrupt desalination industry and data centers with cascading effects on UAE's economy and

1:07:51regional trade. And now the last time Iran made this threat, though, right?

1:07:56Here's the thing, as I've always said in a negotiation, right?

1:07:59If you do an ultimatum and you make the threat, you have to follow through

1:08:05with your threat, right? When I was a litigator, right, if we did a mediation

1:08:09and you threatened to sue if a deadline was not met and you did not

1:08:15sue, the other side then viewed you as totally weak, as a paper tiger, that

1:08:20you weren't, you had a file.

1:08:21Well, that's why if you're going to set the deadline, you better meet the deadline

1:08:26and you better do it.

1:08:27Otherwise, the other side, I got it.

1:08:28They're clouds. They're clouds, right?

1:08:30When Iran threatened, if you attacked our energy infrastructure in South Pars, we'll attack the

1:08:36North Energy facility run by Qatar Energy, which is connected to our South Pars field.

1:08:42We'll destroy that as well.

1:08:44And so you attack us, we'll attack you and I for an eye or some

1:08:48case, you know, here are the targets we'll hit.

1:08:53So the US and Netanyahu struck South Pars in Iran.

1:08:58Then Iran made good. on the threat.

1:09:00They knocked out this facility, or 20 % of it, that does the liquefied natural

1:09:07gas. And now 20 % of a facility that's responsible for 20 % of LNG

1:09:13in the world has been destroyed for three to five years.

1:09:16So even if the war ends, that itself would have a supply shock on LNG,

1:09:22which is needed across the world for lots of things.

1:09:25So you have that. But then when Donald Trump does 48 hours and then says,

1:09:31we had productive conversations with Iran and there wasn't conversations, Iran's like, God, a clown.

1:09:36Or he's trying to trick us, or both.

1:09:39It's either weakness or a trick.

1:09:42Regardless, we can't have a serious discussion with that person because look at the tactics.

1:09:47Same thing today. Yes, Donald Trump's trying to manipulate our crashing markets.

1:09:51Iran knows he's trying to do that.

1:09:53They've been saying he's trying to jawbone the oil market.

1:09:57He's trying to manipulate. They write that.

1:09:58They post these things. Iran knows they're doing it.

1:10:01But also it's like, whether it's from weakness or tricking us, how could we trust

1:10:06you if this is the behavior?

1:10:07So that's why these mediators are out there saying that.

1:10:11Israel's Channel 14 reports that Iranian officials believe ongoing negotiations are an American intelligence ploy

1:10:18in order to gather precise information about leadership locations in Iran and decision -making centers.

1:10:25So the report adds that this concern has led Tehran to avoid any electronic communications

1:10:30and instead rely on field intermediaries to manage sensitive contacts.

1:10:36So you have that taking place.

1:10:38You also have Iran working the United Nations.

1:10:40Foreign Minister Araki says blocking enemy vessels through Hormuz is Iran's legal right.

1:10:46Iran's foreign minister is speaking with the UN Secretary General and saying that preventing the

1:10:52passage of vessels linked to adversaries is Iran's legal right.

1:10:56He said the current insecurity in the Strait of Hormuz is the result of lawlessness

1:10:59and aggression by U .S.

1:11:01and Israel. So, I mean, they're out there when they're like, there's no leadership.

1:11:04Yeah, the leadership's out there speaking with the United Nations right now.

1:11:08Iran's ambassador to the UN sent letters to the Secretary General and Security Council protesting

1:11:13Gulf states, allowing their territory and airspace to be used for U .S.

1:11:17and Israel attacks, according to Iran's IRG -C -Link Fars News Agency.

1:11:21And let me be very clear also, and then I'll pass it to you, Brett

1:11:23and Jordy. I am not naive that Fars and Mares and Tasneem are Iranian propaganda.

1:11:33I get that, okay? And we have state regime media in the United States as

1:11:39well. I understand propaganda's use in war.

1:11:43Heck, the editor -at -large for the Wall Street Journal, not me, the editor -at

1:11:48-large for the Wall Street Journal says, it is a pretty disconcerting turn of events

1:11:53where you are almost having to believe or you are believing the enemy or the

1:11:59opposite side's version of events in a war over your own propaganda.

1:12:05And that's a disturbing reality that we're existing with because as I said, everything that

1:12:11Donald Trump says is an utter lie.

1:12:13But how do we see through their propaganda and Trump's propaganda?

1:12:17We see through it by opening our eyes, listening, evaluating, understanding what's happening on the

1:12:26ground. And that's what we're trying to do here.

1:12:28What's the status of the Strait of Hormuz?

1:12:30Where are the soldiers moving?

1:12:32What's happening in the region?

1:12:34Right? You follow those facts.

1:12:36And when Trump says, oh, I don't know.

1:12:38It isn't. Also, tactics used for propaganda, right?

1:12:42What Iran is trying to appeal to is saying the U .S.

1:12:47is this invading force and U .S.

1:12:49and Netanyahu want to do to us what's happened in Gaza, what's happened in Beirut

1:12:54and southern Lebanon. That's what they're doing here.

1:12:57That's what they're trying to impose on us.

1:13:00And we are calling on Arab nations to help join us and repel the invader.

1:13:06The Epstein class, you know, you're dying for Israel.

1:13:10You're dying for Netanyahu. That's the messaging that's coming out of Iran.

1:13:14And then Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth's messages, we're negotiating with bombs.

1:13:20We put the throttle hard and then we loiter over the sky and we kill

1:13:24you. Death to death to all of you.

1:13:27I mean, it is then these messages are clipped by Iran and they're like, see,

1:13:35we told you, listen to what they're saying.

1:13:38Listen to what they're saying.

1:13:40And so at the same time, we hear that Trump is learning about the war

1:13:46through a highlight reel of two minutes that are being curated by his officials, where

1:13:52he gets to see things getting blown up in Iran by the U .S.

1:13:55and Israeli airplanes. And that's why Donald Trump thinks that we're winning because he just

1:13:59gets two minutes of things getting blown up.

1:14:01Every day Trump creates a highlight reel for Iran to show its people to say,

1:14:07you see what they're saying?

1:14:08We told you. We told you about this.

1:14:11And so even from a propaganda sense of things, the propaganda coming from the Trump

1:14:19regime is amateur and infantile and juvenile and ineffective and not working, even if you

1:14:27try to break down the potency of propaganda strategies and techniques.

1:14:32And so I get it.

1:14:35War, you have to look, though, what's happening?

1:14:37Where are the troops? What's happening with the strait?

1:14:40Are rockets hitting neighborhoods? That's what we try to evaluate here on this network.

1:14:44You know, I think back to, you know, oddly, a Republican's phrase from back in

1:14:50the day, Ronald Reagan, when he was dealing with the Soviet Union, trying to make

1:14:54agreements with the Soviet Union, he would often say, trust, but verify.

1:14:59That was a big Reagan phrase, trust, but verify.

1:15:02I think we need to update that for the Trump era, because you can't trust

1:15:06the guy at all. So I don't know what the phrase is.

1:15:09I don't know if it's just don't trust unless it's verified, never trust, only verify.

1:15:15But you could have a really good track record at predicting what's actually going on

1:15:20by basically never believing anything Donald Trump says.

1:15:24You know, there are rare circumstances where like, oh, he's obviously telling the truth.

1:15:28Like, we bombed Iran, right?

1:15:30Like, you can't lie about that.

1:15:31Like, we're going to find out very quickly, right, if you lied about that.

1:15:34But when it comes to this kind of like more, nuance isn't even the right

1:15:39word, but when it comes to all the all these, all the other stuff around

1:15:42it, right? Donald Trump just lies and lies and lies and lies and lies.

1:15:47And so you got to watch what he's doing, not what he's saying.

1:15:51You got to kind of comb through the reporting, see where the sourcing is coming

1:15:55from. Who said this? Oh, they got this from a Trump official.

1:16:00I might take that with a, you know, with a grain of salt, rather than

1:16:04seeing, you know, what the actual movement of troops looks like right now, or what

1:16:10a neutral mediator in the process says, you know, and so it requires a new

1:16:15level of media literacy. think that that has not been even required in the past.

1:16:21But I think if you don't trust and then verify, you're going to have a

1:16:25much better track record with this administration.

1:16:27Unfortunately, the markets don't take that approach too often.

1:16:31Although, as Ben said, they're starting to because they're they're getting numb to all this

1:16:34crap. They know that it's, you know, they're starting to figure out that it's all

1:16:37B .S. Too many news publications don't.

1:16:40I've seen a lot of news channels just parrot what Trump says and as if

1:16:44it's the truth. But, you know, that's why we all need to remain vigilant and

1:16:48stay on top of the game.

1:16:49For me, too, it's just like also as all of this is going down, like

1:16:53as all of this as all of this chaos is happening around us, what's like

1:16:57Trump doing and his cabinet there?

1:16:59They're having these like televised cabinet tributes.

1:17:02I know we didn't really talk much about this.

1:17:04Ben, you did a great video on these cabinet tributes earlier, like these Trump glaze

1:17:09sessions that he has with his cabinets.

1:17:11They're not about governance. It's just such a performative like display of total allegiance, a

1:17:17public humiliation ritual that would make the likes of Kim Jong -un blush.

1:17:22It's so embarrassing. And of course, I'm talking about Donald Trump's meeting today with his

1:17:26cabinet when they all go around thanking him for being such a great leader.

1:17:30It's when the highest ranking officials in the government, these people who are responsible for

1:17:36the nuclear codes, the global economy and was supposed to be the rule of law,

1:17:40spend their limited time competing to see who could deliver like the most hyperbolic thank

1:17:45you to Donald Trump. Yeah, we've lost the plot.

1:17:48And for a country that's grappling with inflation that we're looking at, the skyrocketing gas

1:17:53prices, and now this failing military operation, that seems like, again, it's going to get

1:17:56even more intense with countless US soldiers dying and citizens dying.

1:18:01But watching these supposed leaders that we have in engaging in this performative ego stroking

1:18:08of Donald Trump, it's like the most humiliating thing that I can see and really

1:18:13like genuinely feel as someone who loves this country as an American and just shows

1:18:18you how deeply compromised like we are on the world stage.

1:18:22People are laughing at us.

1:18:24World leaders are laughing at us.

1:18:26To Ben's point, they know that they have us exactly where they want us.

1:18:28And Trump, he can't do anything other than let me just get my cabinet around

1:18:35me. Let me hear how great I'm being at every facet of being president of

1:18:40this country and especially the war.

1:18:41Tell me how great I'm doing, cabinet.

1:18:43And they just submit. They absolutely, totally submit.

1:18:46And again, it's because they have allegiance to one person and one person only and

1:18:50that person being Donald Trump and not to this country.

1:18:52And that's what just pains me so hard because at its best, this country could

1:18:56be frigging amazing. It really, really could be if our leaders actually wanted to work

1:19:02for the American people and not just one person.

1:19:04Ben. You know, just that's why I didn't want to show the cabinet video.

1:19:08I just didn't want to hear his voice that much on this episode.

1:19:10Totally. I agree with you.

1:20:16this crap then they get bailed out you know and then they go on and

1:20:20they continue to live wealthy and rich when they screw up big time and meanwhile

1:20:25you have farmers who are getting screwed here first it was trump's trade war against

1:20:30the world and then it's the fact that there's no fertilizers being able to you

1:20:35know to to get them all the input costs are higher markets are being closed

1:20:40to them you know manufacturing being shut down we're in a jobs recession right now

1:20:44people's health care is being ripped away americans who are making paychecks which are far

1:20:50and few right now are psychologically tortured living paycheck to paycheck and then you've got

1:20:56these people like that you know who just keep on destroying things and they get

1:21:01bailed out over and over and over again and then they go on to the

1:21:04next scheme and the next scheme and they go on tv and they pretend to

1:21:07be smarter than all of them i gotta do it this way here's how we

1:21:10do it you know and it's just enough of this crap enough of these people

1:21:15seriously enough enough enough you know we we need to reclaim agency and power to

1:21:22the people and that's why you know when you see the results in the special

1:21:25elections in florida for example house district 87 the senate district was it 13 or

1:21:3114 i forget but the senate district there that was like east tampa the house

1:21:35district was mar -a -lago two massive two two areas that previously where the house

1:21:41district was plus 11 trump the senate district was plus seven trump and it was

1:21:4614 very impressive yeah i know my i know my senate districts and house districts

1:21:51in florida off the dome jordan you may not like my game of thrones analysis

1:21:56but i can tell you house districts um but in any event you have those

1:22:01turning blue and we're talking about like plus 20 25 30 over performance for democrats

1:22:08when it comes to donald trump's support amongst non -college educated white male voters right

1:22:15that's donald trump's crew non -college educated white male voters right the latest fox poll

1:22:22has donald trump net negative four and this time last year he was like plus

1:22:2718 and then even in december he was still like plus 10 or so i

1:22:32think and so you've seen a dramatic drop in white non -college educated male voters

1:22:39when it comes to trump young voters in general i think it was what like

1:22:43net negative 19 or something like that or 20 when it comes to young voters

1:22:50latino voters have fled you know all across the board i mean trump is um

1:22:56the most unpopular ever in history the most unpopular in history and so i think

1:23:02we're seeing the american people reclaim power and that brings me to my final message

1:23:07which is no kings protest be there i'll be out there with all of you

1:23:11once again on no kings that's saturday march 28th it's here again let's make this

1:23:17one the biggest yet the biggest no kings i'm excited to be out there i

1:23:22spoke earlier today with uh ezra levin from indivisible and we've always been working with

1:23:58So this is going to be big folks.

1:24:00And you know what I think is kind of funny?

1:24:01Like, remember last time Mike Johnson, all the Republicans would come out and they would

1:24:07be like, oh, all the Antifa terrorists, they're going to these No Kings rallies over

1:24:12the weekend and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

1:24:14Like I haven't heard like a sentence.

1:24:16I haven't heard a word from these people about No Kings this time.

1:24:19I think they know that it had like a Streisand effect last time and it

1:24:23made it even bigger and bigger and bigger.

1:24:25But to me, that shows me that they are scared of people power.

1:24:29They are scared of you.

1:24:31And I do think there is a light at the end of this very, very,

1:24:35very dark tunnel that we have been in.

1:24:38And I think those Florida results, Ben and Jordy and Midas Mighty, you know, showed

1:24:43that. And I think it is indicative of more to come as we head into

1:24:48this midterm year. And as we see people just fundamentally reject this MAGA BS, like

1:24:54this MAGA movement truly looks like it is on its last legs.

1:25:00Donald Trump's with independence right now, some of those brutal numbers I have ever seen

1:25:06in my life. These are disastrous.

1:25:08And it's not just going to bring down Trump, but it's going to bring down

1:25:12everybody associated with him. And so they could continue to latch on and do what

1:25:17Jordy was talking about and continue to glaze Trump at every step of the way.

1:25:21You know, they're going to face the consequences if they keep that right.

1:25:24I think they're going to face the consequences anyway at this point because they're so

1:25:27locked in. There you have it, everybody.
