2:31Furious world leaders are ghosting Donald Trump.
2:35They are cutting him out and disinviting him from critical meetings.
2:39We saw in France a meeting that was led by French President Emmanuel Macron and
2:45Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the UK and 50 other nations.
2:49And they specifically refused to invite Donald Trump in the United States to send a
2:56message, get the hell out of here.
2:57The United States is not our friend anymore.
3:00We do not want you to meet here.
3:02You are a bunch of war criminals.
3:04Also in attendance and leading this meeting, you had the German Chancellor, Friedrich Merz, and
3:11you had Georgia Maloney, the Prime Minister of Italy, rallying 50 countries to come up
3:17with strategies regarding the Middle East.
3:19Yesterday, as Donald Trump was ranting and raving like a lunatic and again defrauding the
3:24world and manipulating the markets in the United States, that he had reached this grand
3:29bargain, this amazing deal with Iran, where they're opening up the Strait of Hormuz.
3:34And American military will work hand in glove with the Iranian military, quite literally hand
3:41in glove. And together, they will collect the nuclear dust from the Iranian facilities, and
3:47they will capture the uranium and bring it back to the United States.
3:50And the Strait of Hormuz is open to everybody, and the U .S.
3:53will be controlling it. And this is a major victory.
3:56And Iran has agreed that it will never, ever again fund Hezbollah or any of
3:59its proxy groups. Donald Trump says Iran's agreed to everything.
4:03They've totally surrendered. It was all false.
4:06The European and Gulf states have previously said they don't think that there's any real
4:12meaningful material deal that can be ironed out for the next six months or so.
4:17Donald Trump lying about this deal in totality.
4:21And in Europe, they were talking about, okay, what can we really do here, rallying
4:2650 nations from across the world, not just European nations, Asian countries, African countries, Central
4:31America, South America. Other European countries focusing on what they can do together now that
4:37the United States is basically not America first.
4:41It is America alone. And America has become this like pariah, bizarre regime.
4:46So that's what you have happening in Europe right now.
4:50At the same time, in Beijing, in China, you had major meetings between leaders from
4:57the Middle East, you know, whether it was the crown prince of Abu Dhabi.
5:01And you had European leaders like French president, like Prime Minister Sanchez, rather, of Spain
5:08meeting with Xi Jinping and Beijing talking.
5:11Thank you. about ways that it will now be a stable or how it wants
5:16to assert itself as a stabilizing force in the Middle East and how it will
5:20be a stable, a more stabilizing force in Europe than the United States.
5:25You have these kind of massive, massive seismic power ships happening.
5:30And Donald Trump, too dumb to even realize in his MAGA base, too much in
5:36the cult to realize that America has lost all of its hard and soft power
5:41across the world right now.
5:42So one other meeting I should talk about as well.
5:45You had the Finland president, Alexander Stube.
5:50He was meeting in Canada with Prime Minister Carney.
5:55Prime Minister Carney just was able to get a majority government.
5:59The Liberal Party in Canada has established a majority government.
6:03And Prime Minister Carney, not just very popular in Canada, but internationally really bringing together
6:10countries as part of a multilateralism contrast to Donald Trump's America alone strategy.
6:17And we've been talking about this here a lot in the Midas Touch Network, how
6:20Prime Minister Carney has been uniting trans -Pacific relationships with transatlantic relationships, in other words,
6:26Asia with Europe, bringing them together for free trade and security agreements.
6:32And so it's not a coincidence that you have these Asian meetings happening without the
6:36US, European meetings happening without the US.
6:39And then you had the Canadian meeting happening with Stube, who is very popular throughout
6:45Europe as well, and meeting with Carney.
6:49All of this is interconnected and the US all alone, while Donald Trump was at
6:56a turning point USA weird event, like kissing Erica Kirk's like ear and being weird
7:02and coming out to weird pyrotechnics and just spewing nonsense and talking about things that
7:09haven't even happened with Iran, while Iran's parliament leader MB Galiboff and Iran's revolutionary guards
7:16like, look, look, everybody, we control the Strait of Ramusta.
7:19Like, what are these idiots talking about?
7:21Let's bring some receipts. Here's the president of Finland, Alexander Stube.
7:27Here's what he has to say about America going it alone.
7:30Play this clip. I think at the end of the day, the United States will
7:34find themselves in quite a lonely place.
7:37I mean, I'm the most pro American president in Europe.
7:42I'm an avid transatlanticist. I want the relationship to work.
7:47But I fully also realized that, you know, with certain patterns of behavior, there is
7:55going to be a feeling of, okay, if you treat me like that, I don't
8:00feel very good about it.
8:01And we can see that with European states.
8:03We can see it with, you know, Gulf states and many others.
8:07So I hope that it's in the interest of the United States, if it wants
8:11to continue to be one of the world hegemons, to have close friends and allies.
8:15Then you had over here Stoltenberg of Norway.
8:20Here's what he had to say.
8:21Play this clip. My country, Norway is bordering Russia.
8:25Just on the other side of our land border, you see the highest concentration of
8:30nuclear weapons in the world.
8:31Missiles, submarines, bombers. And these weapons are not directed at Norway.
8:36They are directed at the United States.
8:39But Norway helps the U .S.
8:41to monitor, to track the submarines, to share intelligence.
8:45And to give you early warning and to tell exactly what the Russians are doing.
8:49This is part of the U .S.
8:51homeland defense provided by a NATO ally, Norway.
8:54And there are many other similar examples.
8:57So the U .S. is safer with a strong NATO.
8:59And therefore, I expect and believe that the U .S.
9:02will continue to be committed to NATO.
9:04Just so you see the perspective of how CNN International is covering that meeting I
9:11was referring to in France.
9:12Let's play this clip. This was a meeting that was initially proposed by the British
9:16and the French, but that also attracted a in presence.
9:19They were actually here in Paris, the Italian leader and the German leader.
9:23But there were some 50 participants in it, many remotely.
9:28They were global organizations, but some 30 heads of state or government.
9:31And that's important because it wasn't just Europeans.
9:33What we're talking about are the leaders of, from Latin America through the Middle East,
9:38to the Indo -Pacific. Those parts of the world that were not belligerent in this
9:42case, that are not directly involved in the war, but have been on the front
9:45line of its effects, of its impacts.
9:47And so they came together to try and put together, and they've been talking about
9:51this for some weeks, this coalition to ensure that navigation can stay open on the
9:55Strait of, in the Strait of Hormuz.
9:56The idea is that they want no blockade, they want no tolls, and they want
10:01the end of fighting, a ceasefire allowing them to mount this mission with the help
10:06of the ships of France, the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy, in order to carry
10:12out minesweeping operations. Now, crucially, only once a ceasefire has been struck.
10:16Then this announcement of the lifting on the Iranian side of the blockade and all
10:21the hope that it has brought.
10:22But what the French president wanted to keep front and center was the need for
10:26prudence, because we'd seen so many times before, at moments of a glimmer of hope,
10:31disappointment then, of the face with the maximalist demands of the United States, the transigence
10:36of the Iranians, and the continued frustration of the rest of the world faced.
10:39this. The idea here was to try and do something about it without being those
10:44involved directly in the water.
10:45All right, quick question. Have you ever actually been excited to do laundry?
10:48Because it was usually the last thing I wanted to do until now.
10:52I started using laundry sauce, and the first thing I thought when I pulled my
10:55clothes out of the dryer was, what is that smell?
10:58No, in a good way.
10:59Like, this doesn't smell like detergent.
11:01It smells like cologne. My personal favorite right now is the Australian sandalwood.
11:05Just clean, rich, and it actually lasts all day.
11:08You put on a shirt in the morning and you still smell it later.
11:11And the pods, super easy, pre -measured, no guesswork.
11:15Just toss it in and you are done.
11:17Plus, they actually work. I'm talking stains from coffee, food, whatever.
11:21You don't even think about it.
11:22It just comes out clean.
11:24It's time for some spring cleaning.
11:25When it comes to the scent of your laundry, it shouldn't smell like the same
11:29thing you use to disinfect your bathroom.
11:31Enter laundry sauce, the premium scented laundry pods that don't just clean your clothes, they
11:35elevate them. Say goodbye to that stale, overused detergent scent, and hello to luxurious, fine
11:41-fragrance freshness that lasts. Imagine stepping outside on the perfect spring morning with your clothes
11:47smelling like Australian sandalwood, Italian bergamot, or Egyptian rose.
11:52Laundry sauce isn't just about smelling incredible.
11:55It's engineered for performance. These highly concentrated pods are packed with the cleaning power of
12:00bioenzymes that obliterate stains from muddy hikes, backyard barbecues, and that inevitable iced coffee spill.
12:07And because spring is all about fresh starts, they revive fabrics, making your favorite pieces
12:12look and feel brand new.

12:37It's basically a full upgrade to your laundry routine, and they just launched in select
12:42target stores, which is pretty cool.
12:44For a limited time, our listeners get 20 % off your entire order when you
12:48use code Midas20 at LaundrySauce .com.

13:01Please support our show and tell them we sent you.
13:04It's time to make laundry day the best day of the week.
13:07Meanwhile, the meeting I refer to in China, Al Jazeera talks about it here.
13:11Play this clip. High -stakes diplomacy in Beijing.
13:15President Xi Jinping met Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Khaled bin Zayed, deepening ties with a
13:20Gulf partner. They pledged greater cooperation in technology, energy and trade as the war in
13:25Iran disrupts global oil and gas flows.
13:28Historic changes are unfolding in ways never seen before.
13:31Human society faces a choice between peace and war, unity or confrontation.
13:36Hours later, Xi welcomed Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
13:40Both called for the defense of multilateralism in what they described as an increasingly unstable
13:46world. Sanchez urged China to play a bigger role in resolving global conflicts, including in
13:53Iran. I find it very difficult to imagine any other interlocutors apart from China that
14:02could resolve the situation. He is among the world leaders hoping Beijing will use its
14:07close ties with Tehran to push for further talks and prevent further escalation.
14:13Officials say China is doing what it can to restore peace.
14:16Wang Yi spoke to Pakistan's foreign minister on Monday after negotiations in Islamabad failed and
14:22is hosting Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov this week.
14:25Beijing has denied allegations that it supplied Iran with weapons and condemned the U .S.
14:30blockade of Iranian ports. This is a dangerous and irresponsible act.
14:36China believes only a comprehensive ceasefire can fundamentally ease tensions.
14:41Now, all of that was taking place.
14:44You had Treasury Secretary Scott Besant continuing to extend the lifting of sanctions against Russia
14:53in the dark of night.
14:54On Friday night, Besant extended the revocation of sanctions against Russian oil, allowing Russia to
15:02continue to sell its oil, extending the removal of those sanctions.
15:07You know, again, just delivering more gifts to Vladimir Putin right now because Donald Trump
15:12is indeed a Putin bootlicker.
15:15So you had that taking place.
15:17And meanwhile, you had his colleague, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik, attacking Canada and saying, oh,
15:23Canada sucks. And how dare Canada not purchase, you know, F -35s and just trying
15:29to wait us out and not entering into deals with us.
15:33How dare Canada? Really? I mean, Donald Trump's been threatening to turn it into the
15:3651st state. He's declared a trade war and Canada's being smart.
15:40But you can see how this is getting under Lutnik's skin.
15:43Here, play this clip. The time is on our side because the pressures on the
15:46U .S. are only going to increase over time.
15:48Basically, you guys are in political trouble.
15:50The longer they wait, the better a deal you're going to have to do.
15:53Good for them. That is like the worst strategy I've ever heard.
15:56They suck. They look, we are a $30 trillion economy, right?
16:01We are the consumer of the world.
16:03Okay. Carney has a problem with us.
16:06He gets. on a plane and he goes to China.
16:09Does he think China's the Chinese economy is going to buy his stuff?
16:14China is entirely an export driven economy, right?
16:18So what do you do?
16:19He came back and said, oh, we'll take their electric cars.
16:22I mean, is this nuts?
16:25Well, this is taking place.
16:27You have Zelensky, Ukraine going to the Middle East as well, making critical deals and
16:34security deals with the Middle East.
16:36He was actually at the end of last week in the Netherlands and he signed
16:40a long -term defense cooperation in the Netherlands.
16:44Here, let's play this clip right here.
17:07Or rather, you have Zelensky in the Netherlands.
17:09You could see him over there.
17:11And here's what Zelensky had to say.
17:13Let's play this clip. It's important that pressure on Russia continues, sanctions and all other
17:19restrictions. But it's just as important that Russia is held accountable for this aggression legally
17:27and practice. And that Russian war criminals do not enjoy normal life, normal life, but
17:35face fair sentences. This is necessary, just as it was necessary after the Second World
17:43War. And this is what we are doing here in Europe.
17:49Here in the Netherlands, we are working to launch the tribunal for Russia's aggression against
17:55Ukraine. And I thank you for your help.
17:57We are working to ensure that the international legal system is firm and uncompromising toward
18:04Russian war criminals. Please support this.
18:08And please remember, all freedoms are fragile without the most basic freedom.
18:17Freedom from ruins. Without basic security.
18:22And when those who start wars feel no accountability.
18:26So do not let Russia go unpunished.
18:31Now, contrast that to what was going on in the White House, where you had
18:36King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.
18:39They visited the White House just to try to see if there could be any
18:44semblance of normalcy there, and hint, hint, hint, there wasn't.
18:47You could play this clip right here.
18:49Can you picture here? Are you serious?
18:58loves you? Where are you?
18:59What's up? Where? You Joanna?
19:03In the case, whatever. I don't know where you are.
19:05You tell me two presidents, right?
19:08Okay, thanks. There you are.
19:10How did you hear Chris?
19:11. I was thinking of those guys all over there.
19:18all right you're just listening in this as they are gathering for this now photo
19:23opportunity the king and queen of the kingdom of the netherlands at the white house
19:28and meanwhile you had a general petraeus retired general uh in the united states uh
19:34retired general here's how he describes kind of the gulf states and the united states
19:39really desperately needing ukraine's help at this point well what it does is it provides
19:45validation for the whole world of what ukraine has achieved again when the gulf states
19:53and in some cases u .s military have had some challenges in countering the shahed
19:58drones uh sent to them in in the gulf region um who did they call
20:06kiev why is that because kiev has demonstrated the best ability in the world to
20:13conduct counter drone operations and so i thought it was a master stroke it was
20:18genius for president zielinski to go to the middle east when these countries are under
20:22attack just as is ukraine every night and to bring expertise and bring drone interceptors
20:32to help these countries defend against the same kind of drones that were given to
20:38russia that have provided so much damage to ukraine but with ukraine now intercepting at
20:47least 90 percent of those drones in a very impressive manner and then you had
20:52georgia maloney who was very critical of donald trump's attacks on um the pope and
20:59trump and israel's supportive attacks on lebanon here georgia maloney talks about a really important
21:06topic supporting ukraine let's play this clip we believe that supporting ukraine is not only
21:12a moral duty but also a strategic necessity because at stake are not only the
21:18dignity freedom and independence of kiev but also the security of europe in the broadest
21:25sense of the term italy will continue to promote within the g7 and the european
21:34union Economic pressure on the Russian Federation, which continues to show no concrete signs in
21:40the negotiation process, persists in attacks against civilians, continues to target infrastructure essential to the
21:47population. Well, there you have it, folks.
21:50Let me know what you think.
