Trump Panics as War Goes Sideways

3/11/202616 mincomplete
0:00Donald Trump is panicking. He's trying to get a ceasefire from Iran.
0:04He's trying to essentially surrender while pretending that he accomplished some big victory in Iran.
0:11But the war rages on.
0:14Three ships in the Strait of Hermoz were struck by Iran this morning after, remember,
0:20Donald Trump and all his regime were saying, try to go through.
0:24It's patriotic if you go through the Strait of Hermoz.
0:27Three ships were hit by Iran.
0:29And what Donald Trump told Axios this morning is, there's practically nothing left to even
0:35target of Iran. They've been so decimated, so obliterated that the war is basically over.
0:42And there are no additional strikes happening from Iran into any of the neighboring Arab
0:49nations, which is not only 100 % false, but it is deeply, deeply dangerous to
0:54be lying like that. Just take a look at what's happening this morning.
0:58Three ships were hit by projectiles from Iran near the Strait of Hermoz within three
1:03hours. As Drop Site explains, the UK Maritime Monitor is saying three commercial vessels were
1:09struck by suspected projectiles within roughly three hours early Wednesday near the Strait of Hermoz.
1:15According to alerts from the UK Maritime Trade Operations, the cargo vessel Express Rome, the
1:22bulk carrier Maori Nari, and the container ship that's name is not yet disclosed.
1:27Also, if you look what's going on in Oman right now, their largest oil facility
1:33was struck. Unclear. It seems that it was struck by an Iranian drone, but not
1:38sure if it was from the Houthis or from elsewhere.
1:40But you can see right now, the main Oman storage facility right there being hit.
1:46The national average price of diesel in the US has reached $4 .81 per gallon,
1:53its highest level since December 15th, 2022.
1:56I mean, take a look at what that port looks like in Salal right now
1:59in Oman after this attack.
2:02And look, the British are, well, Donald Trump's like, nothing's going wrong.
2:06Everything is amazing. The British military confirming that these cargo ships are ablaze in the
2:12Strait of Hermoz. They're providing accurate updates to their people.
2:16And what the Iranian military is saying is that they are switching from what they've
2:21been referring to as reciprocal hits.
2:24And I think they use that name because Donald Trump calls his tariffs reciprocal tariffs.
2:29They go, we're switching from reciprocal hits to now continuous strikes.
2:34And Iran is saying that their goal is to drive oil prices to $200 per
2:39barrel. They're saying our goal is to make you suffer economically.
2:43This is a war of attrition, and we're not going to stop.
2:47The details include Iran saying that US will not be able to control oil prices.
2:52We won't allow even one liter of oil to reach the US, Israel and its
2:57partners. An Iranian military spokesperson said, any vessel or tanker bound to them will be
3:03a legitimate target. Iran says that if you pass the Strait of Hermoz, you need
3:08the permission of the Islamic Republic.
3:10Iran appears to be shifting their military strategy as oil prices were starting to decline,
3:15but now they're back up over $90 a barrel.
3:19And you can see right here, I mean, this is the statement from the Iranian
3:22Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy chief who says, after After hitting those three ships that I
3:30mentioned at the beginning of this video, were these ships assured that they could pass
3:34through the Strait of Hermos?
3:36Asked the crews aboard the ships, the Maori Nori and the Express Rome, who today
3:41trusted empty promises, ignored the warnings, and intended to pass through the strait, but were
3:47caught. And who was giving them those empty promises?
3:50All of the Trump regime officials, MAGA Republican senators, American business leaders, you know, who
3:56were aligned with MAGA were saying, just go through it.
3:58It's patriotic. And those three ships have now essentially been hit very hard, if not
4:03destroyed. And we're learning more about the Iranian drone attack in Kuwait that killed U
4:12.S. service members in the early hours of the war.
4:15Remember, it killed six. There was a seven soldier who died in Saudi Arabia.
4:20Six died in the drone attack in Kuwait.
4:23There was another service member who died of supposedly mysterious illnesses.
4:27And then there are 150 wounded right now.
4:32But we're learning more about that Iranian drone attack in Kuwait that killed U .S.
4:37service members in the early hours of the war with Iran.
4:40It was far more severe than anybody had previously known.
4:43With dozen suffering injuries that included brain trauma, shrapnel trauma, and burns, per sources, more
4:51than 30 remained in the hospital, even as of yesterday, with battle injuries.
4:55And so real, real serious injuries that were taking place there.
5:00Amid all of this, we have the International Energy Agency launching the largest oil stock
5:07release ever in its history amid the Strait of Hermos shutdown and the Middle East
5:14war. The International Agency said its 32 member countries, including the U .S., Japan, Germany,
5:21France, the U .K., South Korea, and Canada, agreed to release more than 400 million
5:26barrels of oil from emergency reserves to try to stabilize markets disrupted by the Middle
5:32East war. In other words, right now, oil would be $200 a barrel.
5:37But the United States and all of its allies are trying, or former allies or
5:42whatever, are trying to flood the market now with these emergency reserves.
5:47The problem is, if the war continues to go on and Iran realizes this, and
5:52now the emergency reserves have been drained, then what happens next?
5:58Then what, if the war still goes on, you could see $250 a barrel.
6:02That's why, the same way when Donald Trump handled COVID like a miracle, it's all
6:07going to go away, just saying and pretending that the war is over, as Donald
6:12Trump is trying to do, is not actually a solution.
6:15The move marks only the sixth coordinated emergency stock release in the agency's history after
6:20previous actions in 1991, 2005, 2011, and twice in 2022.
6:26But this is by far the largest oil release that we've seen yet.
6:30So, by then, the largest emergency oil release in history.
6:36So, what is Senator Rick Scott saying?
6:39What is MAGA Republican Senator Rick Scott saying?
6:42Well, he was on CNN, and they said, well, why isn't the U .S.
6:45Navy escorting ships through the Strait of Hormoz?
6:47Isn't this what you said they were going to do?
6:49Isn't this what the Secretary of Energy said?
6:52Isn't this what Donald Trump said?
6:53He made all of these promises about the Strait of Hormoz.
6:56So, what's going on? Rick Scott here, play this clip.
6:59Senator, if it were possible to do so safely at this point, why isn't the
7:04U .S. Navy escorting escorting Ships through the strait.
7:10I can't tell you the answer to that, but I think it's I think right
7:15now it's still a dangerous situation.
7:17We have with there. It's going to take a while for us to get control
7:21of the Strait of Hormuz.
7:22The most important thing we can do right now in our job right now is
7:25we'd love to get gas prices back down.
7:27But the most important thing is destroy Iran's ability to produce a nuclear weapon, destroy
7:34their military, their ballistic missile capability.
7:37And hopefully, right, we end up with a country that wants to work with the
7:41world community and not be constantly destroying through all their proxies.
7:46So, I mean, we all want gas prices to come down.
7:49Nobody wants gas prices higher.
7:51This president doesn't want gas prices higher.
7:53But we have to be realistic.
7:55If you believe that Iran was going to use nuclear weapons against us, we had
7:59no choice but to do this.
8:01And there are problems short term.

9:27And then Rick Scott says, yeah, just unfortunately, we're just going to have to live
9:30with it. Prices are going to be up.
9:32This is just what it's going to be like for a while.
9:34Here, play this clip right here.
9:36It's fascinating to me that Democrats now talk about gas prices under Obama and under
9:41Biden, they tried to destroy the US oil and gas industry.
9:44So we want prices to come down.
9:47I think, unfortunately, prices are going to be up for a while until this ends.
9:50But with Venezuela coming on, with American oil and gas coming on, with hopefully a
9:55positive resolution to this conflict, then prices will come down even further.
10:00Then we heard from Doug Burgum, the secretary of the interior, who for some reason
10:07talks about, you know, all of these wars and things.
10:10Here's Doug Burgum's like, people have never been happier in the Middle East about the
10:16United States. Here, play this clip.
10:17When these Gulf states know the refineries being targeted and the oil storage being targeted,
10:23what do you say to our Gulf state allies at this time?
10:26What's your advice to them?
10:28Well, I think our Gulf state allies have never been happier than they have now
10:32to have US military presence in their country and to have a strong relationship, both
10:38economically and in terms of energy industry, with the United States.
10:42They understand, you know, who supports them and who.
10:44supports their growth and prosperity.
10:46And then he was asked, like, were you guys caught by surprise by all of
10:50this? Like, were you were you caught by surprise?
10:52Here, play this clip. There's a lot I'm reading The New York Times today, and
10:56they're claiming that you guys were caught by surprise that the price of oil went
11:00up. Is that true? Completely fake news there, obviously.
11:05But one thing I would say with President Trump, who's been focused on bringing prices
11:10down since the day he took office, affordability has been a central part of this.
11:14Inheriting these high prices across the board.
11:17But whether it's energy prices, prescription drugs, this entire administration has been focused on driving
11:22down prices. And the way you do that is with supply up.
11:25And, of course, under President Trump, U .S., now number one oil producer in the
11:29world, number one LNG producer and exporter in the world.
11:33American citizens need to know that U .S.
11:35energy, we've never been in a more dominant or secure position in the history of
11:38the country than we are right now with President Trump.
11:41So, by the way, even on Larry Kudlow, who is a MAGA sycophant, a Trump
11:47bootlicker, he said the following on his show with Newt Gingrich.
11:53If they can keep the Strait of Hormuz open, this war will, in fact, be
11:58an American defeat before very long.
12:01As Carl Ketania says, that's a rare downbeat from Kudlow, who's a Trump propagandist.
12:06It's just the reality of what's going on.
12:08It's what we've been reporting now for a long time.
12:10And we've been cutting through the propaganda for you right over here.
12:13Also, farmers, the latest Farm Journal explains farmers are facing skyrocketing fertilizer prices because they
12:20get a lot of their fertilizer from the Middle East.
12:23And so farmers are getting screwed yet again right there.
12:26Like it wasn't enough that Donald Trump's tariffs against the world screwed the markets that
12:30farmers could export to or that the input costs were far higher by Donald Trump's
12:36tariffs against the world. Now, fertilizer prices are going to be much higher.
12:41And then the Trump sycophants, these MAGA Republican senators, though, they've been making their rounds
12:46on TV saying, look, at the end of the day, freedom isn't free and we
12:51need to, you all need to sacrifice everything that we've just been talking about in
12:56this video. You just sacrifice this sacrifice for Trump is what they're saying.
13:01Watch these MAGA Republican senators, what they say we need to sacrifice on CNN here.
13:04Play this clip. Right. I mean, I just ask because you described it as a
13:07hiccup, the gas prices and the change in the oil market that we're seeing.
13:11I mean, if they're lifting sanctions on Russia, clearly they're worried it could last longer
13:16than just a brief period, don't you think?
13:17I don't, Caitlin. I think you're really reaching here.
13:20I think I think just as quickly as we we took those sanctions away, we
13:24can put them back on.
13:25So I think, again, it's one day at a time.
13:28You live in this little little ivory tower here.
13:31I don't think that you're dealing with the real world that the President Trump has.
13:34We don't know when the war is going to be over.
13:36We don't know when the sanctions should go back on.
13:39But but I think the president on a day to day basis.
13:41How is it an ivory tower?
13:42I'm asking you. I'm asking you about gas prices that Americans are paying that are
13:46extremely high and having wild swings in part because of the war with Iran that
13:51the president started. Right. So so again, freedom is not free.
13:56Americans are going to have to make some sacrifices, but we're operating from a point
14:00of strength. Isn't it great that compared to what I was growing up in the
14:0370s, we were so dependent upon Middle East oil.
14:05But now we're the largest producer of oil in the world, that we're the second
14:09biggest export of oil in the world.
14:10So we're not going to be shut out economically from this.
14:14We at least have the oil here.
14:15Yes, it's a worldwide commodity.
14:17But this is one of the prices of war.
14:19Are we willing to stand here for 47 years and let Iran?
14:23Beat the heck out of Americans and kill thousands of Americans, or are we willing
14:27to stand up and say enough of this?
14:29And finally, there's also reports that China right now is, get this, they are getting
14:36very upset at how disorganized the Trump regime is, even for the state visit that
14:42is planned to China. And Donald, you know, so Trump's whole thing is he wants
14:48to go to Beijing. And normally these state visits require like a lot of planning.
14:52So, you know, they look good and there's a lot of kind of diplomatic things
14:59that take place before. Right.
15:00And so because Trump doesn't plan anything like in Beijing, they're just like, what are
15:05you even doing? Like setting aside all the other horrible things that Trump is doing.
15:09China is irked by last minute scramble to plan the Xi Trump summit with with
15:15three weeks until Donald Trump is supposed to meet Xi Jinping.
15:17Beijing is frustrated by what it sees as insufficient U .S.
15:21preparation that may limit the landmark summit to trade agreements and leave key diplomatic and
15:26security matters untouched. So the Trump regime doesn't plan anything.
15:29Donald Trump doesn't. There's no planning to anything at all.
15:32Even a state visit that Donald Trump wants for his own propaganda purposes.
