Trump Panics as SOTU Boycott Hits 70 Members
2/25/202622 mincomplete
0:0070 members of Congress now plan to boycott Donald Trump's fascist, performative State of the
0:07Union, Donald Trump, MAGA Republicans, state regime media.
0:13They are losing their minds at just how big the Midas Touch Network's people State
0:19of the Union has grown.
0:22The popularity of the people State of the Union has exploded.
0:26At first, they just thought it was going to be 10, 20, 30.
0:30Well, now there are over 70 members of Congress who will be boycotting the State
0:36of the Union. This is historic in scale and scope and the message that everybody's
0:42sending together who's boycotting. We will not normalize this authoritarian fascist regime.
0:49And as I mentioned, MAGA is losing their minds.
0:53You had Maria Bartiroma bringing on MAGA Republicans.
0:57And they're like, can you believe the boycott?
1:00Can you believe it? Here, play this clip.
1:02It's incredible. It's incredible to me that it appears to be that the Democrats are
1:07so angry about President Trump's success.
1:10He's been so successful on so many levels and has done things so fast that
1:16now the Democrats are boycotting.
1:18Some of them are boycotting the State of the Union.
1:20Adam Schiff, Mr. Russia collusion himself, said he's not going to show up to the
1:24State of the Union tomorrow night, Congressman.
1:27We'll be watching that one.
1:29Good to see you, sir.
1:30Thank you. Congressman Buddy Carter.
1:32This morning in Georgia, we'll be right back.
1:34Stay with us. Then you had Jesse Waters moments ago saying, and this is a
1:39historic boycott. The scale of this thing is just bigger than anybody expected.
1:45Well, because we're not normalizing fascism anymore, Waters.
1:49OK, and by the way, Waters, your mom would understand a thing or two about
1:53that. And you should have taken her advice when you became a host at Fox
1:56not to be a propaganda state regime media shill.
2:00But here you are, Jesse.
2:02Here, play this clip right here.
2:04Isn't it? Dana just said I opened her eyes.
2:06So she's trying to process that for a second.
2:09Feels good. Barack Obama said there's not a liberal America.
2:13There's not a conservative America.
2:15There's a United States of America.
2:17Joe Biden always saying we can do everything we want to if we just work
2:21together. Schumer, Hakeem, bipartisanship, reach across the aisle.
2:26And the one night of national unity, State of the Union, they boycott.
2:31And not only just boycott, it is a historic boycott.
2:35And you're starting to see a pattern.
2:37Whenever there's a moment of national unity, the Dems don't get down with it.
2:42Like the Olympics, everyone's happy about the hockey and they just dump all over it.
2:47Super Bowl, bad bunny. Couldn't understand it.
2:51OK, Thanksgiving. They tell people not to invite us to Thanksgiving.
2:56They say don't even date a Republican.
2:59This is what's going on here.
3:00We have to, as grownups, do things sometimes we don't want to do.
3:05Like Brian's book parties. I don't want to go.
3:07But you show up. But you go.
3:09Because it's the right thing to do.
3:10And I respect that. And these people are getting paid to come here tonight.
3:14It's like a game of hooky.
3:16And if you're like an AOC who's running for president or you're like an Eric
3:20Swalwell who's running for governor, don't you want to show the people back home you're
3:25in the game? There's 10 million eyeballs on the screen tonight.
3:29Show up. Even if you've got a little sourpuss look on your face, at least
3:33show your voters you're in it.
3:35And again, throughout state regime media, they continue to attack the Midas Touch network.
3:41And I think they're all just in shock at how big the People's State of
3:45the Union has become. Here you have Ari Fleischer, a Fox News contributor.
3:51Here's what they were saying.
3:52Watch them whine, play this clip.
3:54This idea of boycotting the other party, Democrats love to do it because they cannot
3:59stand for tolerance. They cannot accept other views.
4:03And it is one of their biggest Achilles heels.
4:05So from one state regime network to another state regime network, here's Newsmax as they
4:11were whining about the size of the Midas Touch network, along with MoveOn.
4:16Hat tip to our great friends at MoveOn, who have been doing such a great
4:20job at the People's State of the Union.
4:22Here's what they were talking about on Newsmax.
4:25And they brought in Congresswoman Marionette Miller -Meeks.
4:29Here play this clip. I'd like to get your thoughts about the folks who say,
4:33you know what, I don't like this president.
4:35I don't like his policies.
4:36I'm not going to go.
4:37I'm going to go have a protest someplace.
4:38You know, they seem to be in D .C., you know, less and less as
4:41it is and not getting their jobs done when they are there.
4:44And now they're going to skip this.
4:46Well, you know, to your point, so I voted for President Trump all three times.
4:51So I attended the inauguration ceremonies of President Biden.
4:56I attended every single, you know, joint address to Congress, State of the Union that
5:00President Biden came. I was respectful.
5:03You respect the office of the president, regardless of who occupies that office.
5:07So I may have disagreed with the policies.
5:09I didn't personally attack individuals.
5:12but you have your disagreements.
5:14That's what elections are for, but you attend, you be respectful.
5:18And I certainly have not seen that from both sides of the aisle, but that's
5:23my personal philosophy. I think it goes back to what you learned in kindergarten, and
5:27that is the golden rule.
5:28You treat other people how you want to be treated.
5:31More from Newsmax right here as they are whining and complaining about the size, scale,
5:36and scope of the people state of the union.
5:39Let's play this clip. So my reaction is, who cares?
5:43All right. Well, Nicole, I care, and I think a lot of people care.
5:47Nicole, your reaction, don't you think it's a little shocking that members of Congress are
5:53not going to sit there and listen to the president of the United States, no
5:57matter what party they're in?
5:59Well, Barney, I don't know if you recall at last year's State of the Union,
6:03the Democrats embarrassed themselves in what was probably one of the most heinous displays of
6:09political performatism by refusing to stand for angel moms who certainly care, Barney, because they
6:16lost their children to illegal immigration as a result of your party's policies.
6:21They refuse to stand for a child with cancer, for veterans, for many more people
6:26whose lives the president has made so much better.
6:29And, Rita, I'll say I'm actually glad that the people who are being honored again
6:34this year, many of them, victims of Democrat policies, will not have to witness that
6:40level of disrespect and evil.
6:42These Democrats are cowards, and they're boycotting the State of the Union because they're petty,
6:48they're weak, and they're jealous of all the incredible things this president has done, from
6:53removing close to three million illegal aliens to reducing illegal border crime.
6:58Earlier in the day, you had MAGA Mike Johnson delivering a press conference where he
7:03attacked the Midas Touch Network and said that it's shameful, shameful, I tell you what
7:09the Midas Touch Network is doing.
7:11Play this clip. It's shameful that they would boycott an address.
7:13We don't do that. Republicans don't do that.
7:15It doesn't matter if there's a president from the opposing party.
7:18We don't skip out. Our constituents want and need us to be here.
7:23Every member of this house represents over 750 ,000 people.
7:27They're disenfranchised if you're not sitting in the seat to be a part of the
7:31role and the responsibility of Congress.
7:33I think it's shameful. Republicans have a far simpler and far superior message for Americans
7:38watching at home. We're putting more money back in your pockets.
7:41We're restoring peace through strength.
7:43We're defending our border and deporting criminal illegal aliens.
7:47We're standing up for American industry and manufacturing.
7:50And we're making American workers, not foreign countries, the clear winners in this American economy.
7:55Those are not talking points.
7:57That is what we have delivered.
7:59It's called Republican results. And we are proud to run on that message in this
8:03fateful midterm election year. And then MAGA Mike Johnson gave an entire interview with CBS
8:09where he said that it's shameful, shameful, I tell you.
8:13Here, play this clip right here.
8:15I think it's going to be a great celebration for our side.
8:17I think the admonition for decorum is to the other team.
8:20You saw the antics that they put on display, the Democrats, during the last day
8:23of the union. I had to actually reject someone.
8:25Republicans over the years have been known to perform their own bits of antics in
8:29the audience. And at every turn, I have encouraged my colleagues to maintain decorum and
8:33the dignity of the office.
8:34I think it's important for the institution and for the American people to see.
8:37I think what we should put on display tonight, I've told my colleagues this morning,
8:40is what the USA hockey teams did in the Olympics.
8:43We play for one team.
8:44We're all for America. I think it's detestable that members would boycott the speech.
8:49We've never done that. It doesn't matter if there's a Democrat president.
8:52You go and respect the office.
8:53You respect the decorum, the institution, the tradition of having had this speech made.
8:59And it's sad to me that Democrats are choosing to opt out of that.

10:33Now, what is corporate news doing adjacent to state regime media?
10:38Well, you have C - And then people like Jake Tapper and you've got people
10:42like Jonathan Karl, you know, the corporate media folk and they're bragging that they got
10:48the privilege of having access to Donald Trump today.
10:52So Donald Trump brought in all corporate news into the White House and they had
10:56an off the record and some on the record convo about what to expect.
11:00So Donald Trump gave the corporate news people access and then they went out and
11:05they said, well, here's what Donald Trump's going to say.
11:07Hey, here's what he's going to do.
11:09We don't do that here at the Midas Touch Network because we don't spread fascist
11:14propaganda here. OK, that's not what we're doing here.
11:18Great. You had the privilege of meeting with Donald Trump, a fascist who has put
11:22ICE and Border Patrol, SS, Gestapo, Nazi paramilitaries out on the street, killing people in
11:28this country, throwing them into concentration camps.
11:32You've got Donald Trump and his DOJ covering up a child sex trafficking ring, little
11:38actual pedo protection racket going on in 1600 Pennsylvania.
11:43And you're bragging about the privilege of going into the White House, which is the
11:48center of the Epstein class cabal.
11:51Here, play this clip right here.
11:53Tonight, President Trump is three hours from delivering his annual update to Congress.
11:57As is tradition, several anchors and reporters had the privilege of eating lunch with the
12:02president at the White House before the State of the Union so he could share
12:05with us off the record his thoughts on where the country's going, what he wants
12:10to say. Anyway, he gave us a little bit on the record about some of
12:15what he's going to say tonight, including plans to advocate for a form of tax
12:19cuts, corporate and mostly personal, he said, and to announce deals with AI and tech
12:23firms for data centers that consume so much electricity from local communities.
12:28On the record, he said tonight's pitch would be that, quote, the country is about
12:31to have the best three years economically in the nation's history, and it's already started,
12:35unquote. And amid the massive U .S.
12:37military buildup and threat of conflict with Iran, the president said that Tehran wants to
12:41make a deal more than he does.
12:43But so far, the Iranians have been unwilling to say explicitly the sacred phrase that
12:49they will not build nuclear weapons.
12:52It remains to be seen, of course, how much the president is willing to work
12:54with the lawmakers who are going to be sitting in front of them.
12:56He has said just this week he doesn't need them, even for things that the
13:00U .S. Constitution suggests is their responsibility, such as imposing tariffs or declaring a war.
13:07The president will be face to face with at least some of the Supreme Court
13:10justices who just a few days ago ruled that, yeah, he actually does need to
13:14work with Congress to impose a sweeping permanent tariffs regime.
13:19More from, that was Jake Tapper.
13:23Here's what Jonathan Karl says.
13:24You see how these corporate news folk talk about all of this?
13:27It's the same language. They just parrot.
13:29Donald Trump told us. Donald Trump said we're in an economic boom.
13:33Donald Trump told us everybody can afford homes.
13:36Donald Trump told us that the best is yet to come.
13:39And Donald Trump told us, yeah, Donald Trump's a liar.
13:42Donald Trump's a felon. Donald Trump is a sexual predator.
13:46Donald Trump is a bankruptor, okay?
13:49I don't need to hear Donald Trump said.
13:51Anyway, play this clip of Jonathan Karl.
13:53Here play this clip. Hey, I just left the White House room, just leaving now.
13:57The president did a lunch with network news anchors and offered a bit of a
14:03preview of his speech. One notable thing, we did talk about Iran.
14:07He said that Iran wants some deal more than I do, but they just can't
14:11say the magic words, which he said was that they won't build a bomb.
14:16The president said he's going to talk a lot about the economy, and he's going
14:20to call for new tax cuts tonight.
14:22And he's going to say that the next three years in America will be the
14:26best years economically that we've ever had.
14:28And he's going to say, or he told us, it's already begun.
14:33So that's here at the White House, just leaving lunch with the president and network
14:38anchors. And then on Jake Tapper, he brought on people like MAGA Republican Senator Rick
14:43Scott, who bragged that his guest at the State of the Union is going to
14:47be Kevin O 'Leary, the Canadian who said that Canada needs to become a 51st
14:53state. Here play this clip.
14:54This week, joining us now, Republican Senator Rick Scott of Florida and his guest for
14:58the speech tonight, the chairman of O 'Leary Ventures and Shark Tank Judge Kevin O
15:02'Leary. But let's contrast that to what's going on at the People's State of the
15:07Union, where Congresswoman Ansari talks about the guests that she will be bringing to the
15:13Midas Touch Network's People's State of the Union.
15:16Here play this clip. Good afternoon.
15:18I'm Congresswoman Yasemin Ansari. I represent Phoenix, Glendale and Guadalupe.
15:23Tonight, I will be skipping Donald Trump's State of the Union because I refuse to
15:27sit there while he lies and refuse to normalize the most corrupt and the most
15:32authoritarian administration in American history.
15:35So tonight, I will be joined by Sonia Almarez, whose loved one is Yadi.
15:40Yadi has leukemia. She's my constituent who has been locked up in ICE detention for
15:46more than a year. She has been denied critical medical care that she needs.
15:51Both Sonia and I have gone to visit her.
15:52I've witnessed her vomit blood.
15:54I've witnessed the weight loss she's endured, the pain that she's in.
15:58And it is unacceptable that while Yadi is locked up in this detention center, Donald
16:04Trump is going to be inside.
16:07The chambers lying to the American people about his record.
16:11And Fox just kept on losing their minds about the size of this Midas.
16:16Oh, by the way, we're just finding out the number is now 72 Democrats.
16:2272 will be boycotting this fascist state of the union, and they'll be attending the
16:28people's state of the union.
16:30Going back to a moment.
16:31Here's what's going on on Fox moments ago as well.
16:33You had the DNC chair, Ken Martin, being asked by Fox, well, what do you
16:38think about this boycott? Here, play this clip.
16:41Dozens of lawmakers are set to boycott the speech.
16:44Talking about three dozen, in fact, might be more.
16:46The DNC chair is Ken Martin.
16:48We welcome him to America's Newsroom.
16:49And, sir, thank you for your time.
16:51It's a significant day, and we'll see how it goes tonight.
16:54Thank you for being here.
16:56Thank you, Bill. Thanks for having me.
16:57Are you telling your Democratic colleagues to show up or stay away?
17:02Well, I'm not telling them what to do.
17:03I respect whatever decision they make, whether they want to attend in person or whether
17:07they decide to stay away.
17:09The fact of the matter is, is each has to make their own decision here.
17:13Of course, I don't begrudge the folks who have decided to actually not attend tonight.
17:17Why put yourself through listening to two hours of a bunch of lies from the
17:21president of the United States?
17:23And so, you know, the reality is I respect the decisions of every Democrat.
17:27They have to make their own decisions here.
17:29OK, see, here's one here's one Democrat, Senator John Fetterman, on what he's going to
17:33do. I do plan to go to the State of Union.
17:37And then I do hope all the other Democrats that choose to come, that we
17:42don't do the same kinds of things that happened at the last year.
17:45It was really undignified. And just the thing.
17:49No, I don't care who the president is.
17:50Don't yell and disrupt that that.
17:52It's like you really should respect the office.
17:55He was referring to Democrat Al Green waving his cane last year at President Trump.
18:01How concerned are you about members acting out?
18:05Well, look, again, it's not my job to tell members of Congress what to do
18:10and how to act. At the end of the day, they're going to have to
18:14make their own decisions. Again, whether or not to attend and what they do and
18:18say during the speech. Look, this president has shown no respect to the American people.
18:24Stephen A. Smith was very upset about this boycott.
18:27He's like, how can you be having the moral high ground if you don't show
18:35up at the State of the Union?
18:36You're no better than them.
18:37Again, we have to show up to the State of the Union, and that makes
18:42us no better than people who are wearing masks and killing people and throwing people
18:48into concentration cams. Really? That's how you equate the two things together?
18:53By not showing up, that makes Democrats as bad as the Trump regime's DOJ covering
19:00up a child sex traffic?
19:01I just, I don't fully understand the logic.
19:04Stephen A., here play this clip.
19:06The president of the United States is going to give his State of the Union
19:09address, and the Democrats got other plans.
19:12So some are talking about walking out in the middle of his speech.
19:16Others are talking about boycotting it all together and essentially finding something else to do.
19:22I'm here to tell you that neither is acceptable.
19:24Neither should be acceptable. At some point in time, ladies and gentlemen, there's got to
19:29be an adult in the room.
19:32If you're going to act as juvenile, as petulant, as petty as you accused the
19:38president of the United States to be, how are you ever going to hold a
19:43high moral ground, at least high enough to judge him accordingly?
19:47If people on the right can turn and look at you and say, you're no
19:53better, you act no better, where's it going to get you?
19:58Then more whining from state regime media, there are 72 Democrats refusing to go to
20:03the State of the Union.
20:05This is some of the most disrespectful things we've ever seen.
20:08Here play this clip. No, 100 percent.
20:10And that's exactly what President Trump can do, because this is the message that Republicans
20:16are going to take out to the midterms.
20:18The notes in which he echoes tonight will be exactly what you hear Republicans say
20:24on the stump. And you keep in mind, this is a president that's going to
20:26be out there as almost as if he was running for election.
20:29They're going to have him on the campaign trail.
20:31I'm expecting the president to deliver in a way in which the American people expect
20:36him to presidentially and tell them what's in it for them.
20:40What has he done over the course of a year?
20:42And I can tell you, he's accomplished a great deal cleaning up the mess of
20:46Joe Biden, Joe Biden's presidency.
20:48But there's much more to be done.
20:49A lot of the Democrats who are boycotting, though, did give some of their tickets
20:53to Epstein survivors and some of the Democrats who will be attending the State of
20:57the Union are bringing Epstein survivors.
20:59So at the actual State of the Union, which will not be live streaming here,
21:03Epstein survivors will be wearing teal scarves, which represents sexual assault awareness and prevention.
21:10You'll also see butterfly pins, Joe Khalil explains, which is a symbol for Virginia Giuffre,
21:16a victim who was among the first to go public.
21:19She took her own life this year.
21:22So you've got that going on.
21:24By the way, Donald Trump's guest is Erica Kirk.
21:27That's who he's bringing there.
21:29Apparently, Donald Trump has told those reporters that he expects the State of the Union
21:33to last about three. three hours in length.
21:37And, you know, senators like Chris Murphy continued to post about how they will be
21:40attending the People's State of the Union and move on and might as touch another.
21:46So look forward to the People's State of the Union.
21:49If you're wondering where do you watch it at 8 East at 8 Eastern, you'll
