3:33In the second hour of the program, I think we mentioned this going to break,

3:38that we've got Senator Bill Cassidy at 2, and then Tom Homan at 2 .30.

3:45But in this hour, it is just us hanging out with you.

3:49And, Buck, I wanted to dive into this story because we talked about it some

3:53yesterday. And I think it is kind of a perfect example of everything having to

3:59do with the disaster in many big cities when it comes to illegal immigrants and

4:05crime. But before we get to that, I had asked our team, producer Greg in

4:12particular, we were talking in the first hour about some of the Democrat messaging on

4:18Iran and how even the New York Times has been writing, hey, things are going

4:21really well compared to Desert Storm and compared to, for instance, Panama.

4:27But I did want to play for you.

4:29We played Chuck Schumer refusing to answer a question from Joe Scarborough about how he

4:33would assess things going and is it basically a good thing that the Ayatollah is

4:38gone and that the Iranian Navy doesn't exist anymore and that the Air Force has

4:41basically been wiped out. Remember, it was only last year.

4:45This is from June 2nd of 2025, before the first bombing of Iran by the

4:54American military. This was Chuck Schumer taunting Trump for not being tough enough on Iran.

5:04Cut 33. When it comes to negotiating with the terrorist government of Iran, Trump's all

5:09over the lot. One day he sounds tough, the next day he's backing off.

5:13And now, all of a sudden, we find out that Whitcoff and Rubio are negotiating

5:18a secret side deal with Iran.

5:20What kind of bull is this?

5:22They're going to sound tough in public and then have a side deal that lets

5:25Iran. get away with everything?

5:26That's outrageous. We need to make that side deal public.

5:30Any side deal should be before Congress and most importantly the American people.

5:34If Taco Trump is already folding, the American public should know about it.

5:39No side deals. Okay, so Trump was so weak that he was already folding.

5:45He then bombed Iran. Now he's taken out the Ayatollah and Schumer can't answer basic

5:51questions. Make sure we share that cut on video from the Clay and Buck feed

5:56because I do think it's important to keep in mind just how unintelligible Democrat arguments

6:03are as it pertains to what should happen with Iran.

6:07Okay, let's go to Chicago and a couple of updating details here.

6:12We are expecting a White House press conference with Caroline Levitt at some point in

6:18time and there is a lot of coverage that's been going on this social media

6:23addiction trial. For those of you who have been paying attention to that Fox News,

6:30Fox Business is their lead story right now.

6:32They're expecting a verdict from an LA court over that lawsuit that was filed on

6:39social media and we will get to that to the extent that there is anything

6:44that comes out of it.

6:46But I did want to go back to Chicago.

6:50Young freshman in college Sheridan Gorman was on the just in downtown Chicago walking along

7:00a public park and she was murdered by a Venezuelan illegal immigrant who had already

7:06been arrested twice and it's gotten a lot of attention on audio and video media

7:15like this one and it's so much so that now a lot of Democrats in

7:20Chicago are having to address this particularly J .B.

7:24Pritzker who traveled to Minneapolis to express his remorse over the deaths of the the

7:31two individuals there at the protests and now a lot of people are talking about

7:37it in Chicago and they're really just kind of telling you yeah we don't really

7:41care about the life of young college students if they are taken by illegal immigrants.

7:47Here is listen to this Chicago Alderwoman Maria Haddon says the murdered Loyola student Sheridan

7:56Gorman well she was in the wrong place at the wrong time and she might

8:01have startled the illegal immigrant who killed her this is real from Monday video posted

8:10to social media. They go out on the pier they walk around so that the

8:14kids were out doing normal normal things people do in the neighborhood and it sounds

8:18like this might have been a wrong place wrong time running into a person who

8:22had a gun they might have startled this person at the end of the pier

8:25unintentionally. Might have but can you believe that's real they might have startled the person

8:31at the end of the pier unintentionally and the illegal immigrant who killed this young

8:37innocent college student well he was just startled I can't believe that's real here is

8:44but it gets it gets just as bad if not worse J .B.

8:48Pritzker governor of Illinois says the murder of Sheridan Gorman is Donald Trump's fault fault

8:55cut 20 yeah sorry I don't know what happened to that audio um uh we

9:10could barely hear it ourselves I don't know what the issue was is that I'm

9:15assuming that that is uh something on our end and not the actual audio uh

9:20there's more here is Brandon Johnson the mayor of Chicago asked directly will you apologize

9:26to Sheridan Gorman's family for the policies that got her murdered uh here is what

9:32the mayor said apologize to Sheridan's parents for the policies that you promoted that have

9:40that would directly caused her death that suspect would not be in the city would

9:45not be in the country but for your policies will you take this opportunity to

9:49apologize again I believe that we're all we're all grieving the loss of of Sheridan

9:54and other folks who have lost their lives because of sentence violence and let's just

9:58be very clear uh between the safety act and the welcoming city ordinance welcoming city

10:03ordinance was passed 40 years ago by the first black mayor in the history of

10:06Chicago and the safety act was passed under the governor uh that time who was

10:10republican um governor raunner thank you for your questions okay so uh no apology at

10:23all uh they don't care about the death of this young girl this college student

10:30by and large buck because the person who did it was an illegal immigrant who

10:34should have not been in this country at all he was from venezuela he was

10:38arrested uh when he came into the country he was then arrested for committing a

10:43crime in the country he should not have been here at all if he were

10:47not here and he came across when the wide open border was here under joe

10:51biden if he was arrested for murder of her daughter he's arrested and himself was

10:53arrested for murder of her hair and of his murder of the community he said

10:53he was arrested for murder of the Highlights This is the case for the last

10:53two weeks we've already been arrested for murder of the this border had been sealed,

10:55Sheridan Gorman would still be alive.

10:57There are a lot of people like her.

10:59This is a Lake and Riley -like situation, just in Illinois instead of Georgia.

11:05This is an acceptable loss to Democrats.

11:10That is the truth. They could stop this from happening, and they choose not to.

11:16It's more important to the mass of the Democrat base, the mass of the Democrat

11:22voter, to think that they're good people, they're not racist, they're not xenophobic, they're inclusive,

11:30America's a nation of immigrants.

11:31It's more important for them to feel those bumper sticker slogans coursing through their veins

11:37day in and day out than to protect Americans from being killed on the street

11:41for no reason whatsoever, or be raped, or be robbed, or carjacked, or any number

11:47of things. They make a decision every day in favor of those things continuing to

11:53happen so that we can have illegals.

11:55And let's be very specific about this too, Clay.

11:58Not just illegals in general.

12:00Illegals who have committed serious crimes and have orders of deportation outstanding against them.

12:08Democrats do not want those individuals to leave the country.

12:11Like I said, we are miles and miles away from gentle abuela who has been

12:17here for 30 years and running a local business somewhere, and maybe we could figure

12:22something out. No, no, no.

12:23That's not what we're talking about.

12:25That's not even... Right now, in Minneapolis, the interrupters, whatever they call themselves, who were

12:31getting in the way of ICE operations, they were stopping ICE, and they were told

12:36this, and they don't care.

12:37They were told this by the ICE officials, they were told this from the news,

12:41it was true. Top security risks.

12:44People who are preying on other human beings who have no right to be in

12:49this country in the first place, Democrats don't want them to be sent out of

12:54the country. This is how devoted to this.

12:57It really is. Illegals being able to stay in America has become a religious belief

13:02for Democrats, and it also, of course, has a long -term political strategic tie -in

13:07of making this a one -party state by transforming the demographics of America so that

13:12we have no cultural or historical or ideological cohesion.

13:17We're just some polyglot, stop -by station, welfare ward, an economic unit, an economic union

13:27that has nothing holding it together other than whoever's in charge, whoever's running the system.

13:34Yeah, look, I think the positive is we are driving down violent crime, and the

13:43reality is if we had not had a wide -open southern border, the violent crime

13:48rate would be much lower, and unfortunately, there would be a lot more people alive

13:53today. Can you imagine, Buck?

13:55I mean, just strip away all of this for a moment.

13:58Can you imagine what it's like to send your 18 -year -old off to college

14:02in a city like Chicago?

14:04You've spent your whole life putting all of your love into her or him.

14:09I'm about to send a kid off to college in August of this year coming

14:14up, and she just gets murdered in cold blood in a park in Chicago?

14:21Did absolutely nothing wrong? It's not even like you can go back and deconstruct what

14:27happened to her and say, boy, if she had just not done this, if she

14:31had just not done that.

14:32She went for a walk in a freaking park.

14:36You know, Lake and Riley went for a jog in a park.

14:41Those of us out there, it's one thing if you get into a bar fight

14:45or you get into a scuffle and awful things happen, you can go back and

14:48say, boy, I wish they hadn't made that choice.

14:50Go to a park and you're dead because illegals killed you?

14:55Illegals that had already been arrested multiple times and should have never been in this

14:59country? I just find it to be so thoroughly reprehensible that we could be in

15:06this situation at all. And the fact that Democrats won't address it in any way,

15:13or we'll see if we can get the audio back up.

15:17The fact that J .B.

15:20Pritzker's response to a college kid getting murdered in a park in Chicago is to

15:24say Donald Trump's responsible for it?

15:27Well, this is all they have is now they are the burglar who, when caught,

15:32says, you were stealing the stuff.

15:35That's all they've got. They have nothing to argue here that makes any sense.

15:40So they just have to go on offense.

15:42They have to say everything is Trump's fault.

15:45That's the default for everything.

15:46Everything bad is Trump's fault, no matter how obvious it is that Trump is actually

15:51trying to fix it and that they, the Democrats, are making choices that make the

15:55bad thing happen. And they're just going to keep doing this.

15:58They are dug in on this.

16:00Clay, they're dug in on it with the crime thing, with Trump's policy of using

16:05federal law enforcement to help out and bring down the violent crime rate.

16:09This is now proven, this is a proven approach to saving people's lives in every

16:16city and particularly those high -crime cities with high...

16:20uh... ... minority populations that are getting, that's where a lot of the victims of

16:25the crimes are coming from.

16:26And yes, by the way, it's also where a lot of the perpetrators of the

16:29crime are coming from. Clay, you might have seen this.

16:32This is data that was shared out yesterday in New York City.

16:34I saw this. I couldn't believe it.

16:36I saw a lot of this last night.

16:38The first nine months of, and this was a .gov website.

16:42So, I mean, this is like the data is coming from a government site.

16:48The first nine months of 2025, there were 356 shootings in New York City with

16:53a black perpetrator. Two with a white perpetrator.

16:59City of 8 .5 million people.

17:02356 shootings, black perpetrator, black person doing the shooting.

17:06Two involved white individuals. 356 to two.

17:10And keep in mind, the black population of New York City is about 20 %

17:14of the city. So, that's, you know, what do we just say about that statistic?

17:24What is the conversation supposed to be in New York City when you're talking about

17:28the enforcement of crime? I'm sorry, the enforcement of law to deal with crime.

17:33Yes, you're going to have a disparate impact on the black community.

17:36That is a fact. You're also going to save a disparate number of black lives.

17:40And the 99 % of law -abiding black New Yorkers benefit from just dealing with

17:48the reality of, yes, there are far more violent crimes committed by blacks in New

17:52York City than any other group.

17:54Yes. That is the fact.

17:56That is the reality. And this is what Democrats never want to touch, never want

17:59to deal with. Well, it's also why when Chuck Schumer said, oh, I guess Joe

18:04Biden as well, Joe Biden in particular, that white supremacy was the number one danger

18:09facing the country. That was the Democrat argument.

18:14Yeah, that's just, frankly, not true at all.

28:18so i'm running for re -election so this is probably three four years ago and

28:23um and i'm at an event at a restaurant in naples and we're kind of

28:26in like a back room so you have like a table you know it's kind

28:30of big and there's probably like 25 people around and so we sit there you

28:34know everyone stands sit down i'm like all right tell me a little bit about

28:38you you know whatever and i knew most of the people but not all so

28:40they'll go hey governor you know thanks for helping me with this or this or

28:44that they'd all say the little p so it gets around to the other side

28:46of the table and this this gentleman who i didn't know gets you know gets

28:50up and just says governor i just want to let you know we moved my

28:52wife and i moved from california which you guys are doing you run such a

28:56great state it's so refreshing to be here uh we've never been happier we love

29:00the way everything's going and then he paused which you know look that was nice

29:04to hear but like honestly i hear that a lot and so it wasn't anything

29:08that conspicuous and then he paused and he looked up and he said oh by

29:12the way i'm gavin newsom's father -in -law and that whole place erupted gavin newsom's

29:18father -in -law how awesome is that uh moved all the way across the country

29:26and decided that he would rather live in florida run by ron de santis than

29:31the state run by his own son -in -law of course of course i mean

29:58rather ngo interest groups right environmentalist groups and public sector unions actually call the shots

30:04in the state of california but clay it's i thought it was really funny too

30:08because i know this as well i know it from my own experience of telling

30:12ron de santis in person like you've done such a good job you're saying that

30:17how many politicians do you know who are who have a big job governor of

30:23a state of 21 million is a big job how many politicians you know like

30:26yeah you know another day of someone telling me to like uh the we're doing

30:31an amazing job running this place and the politicians are fantastic here at making sure

30:36everything is great like i feel like politicians basically get dumped on all the time

30:40by most people ron de santis is tired of so many people telling him how

30:44great he is at running florida that's where he is hold on though you just

30:49got married now your father -in -law is great and he lives in florida but

30:54i want i'll put it in my perspective too if you got married and you

31:00had risen to governor of a state that your mother and father -in -law lived

31:06in and they decided while you were governor to leave the state move to a

31:14new state and become donors to the opposite political party and let everyone know that

31:22they loved the job you were doing and were willing to say it publicly i

31:28i don't understand how gavin newsom wouldn't lose his mind over this if i if

31:33i if i look my father -in -law i was just with him this past

31:38weekend he lives in michigan if if he moved to tennessee and i was governor

31:43of tennessee and he bailed on the state and went to a blue state and

31:48donated money to the governor there and said i used to live in tennessee but

31:52my son -in -law was the governor there and i didn't like the way things

31:55were going i would be like i'm easygoing you're excommunicated from the family like that

32:01would be a huge slap in the face so i i think you're i think

32:05you're seeing this all wrong because you're looking at this the way that you would

32:09react if you were in gavin newsom situation yes clay gavin newsom is like he's

32:17like uh an alien lizard from another he has no there's you're not going to

32:22hurt his feelings it's just about gavin newsom you're not going to hurt his feelings

32:25with how california is run or whatever there's no pride in doing a good job

32:32son -in -law was the governor would be so ecstatic about this this is he

32:37doesn't care that he left i'm telling you gavin newsom does not care he only

32:43he's governor so that's great and he wants to be president and nothing else matters

32:47meaning do people like it do people that he meets really like the job he's

32:51doing as it doesn't matter it's all about gavin if your son if your father

32:56-in -law what like let's presume gavin newsom runs against ron de santis like let's

33:00just pretend that was 2028 if your own father -in -law won't vote for you

33:05for president if he leaves the state when you are governor that is such a

33:11public slap in the face that i don't understand how you couldn't see it as

33:16anything other than i just i'm trying to tell you i think gavin newsom is

33:24a high functioning sociopath and does not care at all that's what i'm trying to

33:28tell you it does not even doesn't even factor into his radar gavin newsom could

33:33care less what any family gavin newsom's wife could vote republican and he'd still be

33:37like did we win he doesn't care it doesn't matter it's just about him it's

33:43all just about him i i am still staggered by this in just a family

33:50relationship that you would by the way caroline levitt is starting to address we'll keep

33:55tabs on this too but props to the props by the way and i think

34:00uh ron went on florida governor ron desantis went on to say that gavin newsom's

34:05father -in -law is a very successful guy and what is this wife two wife

34:09three i don't know what gavin newsom's on right now but definitely two current wife

34:14um and uh and so uh not to mention by the way you're moving away

34:19from all your grandkids everything else i just i think this is a pretty supreme

34:23indictment of uh of gavin newsom now to your point he may not care at

34:28all that to me is even more of a sign of what a soulless psychopath

34:32he is if his father -in -law bails on the state because he's running it

34:37so poorly during covid and then donates money to his chief political adversary and goes

34:43to his fundraiser that is incredible i'm telling you get this guy on the show

34:48he might be listening to us right now i want gavin newsom's father -in -law

34:51on the show yeah gavin newsom's father -in -law if you're listening call in uh

34:55and clay i'm telling you gavin doesn't doesn't phase him doesn't phase him one bit

34:59he will look you in the eye with homelessness in his state i think it's

35:05doubled since he's been governor it's something crazy on every possible front as governor of

35:11california everything but he'll look you when he came in he'll look you in the

35:14eye if you're like hey how's homelessness going your state and be like honestly we've

35:18done the best job dealing with the homelessness situation of anybody in history and i

35:22couldn't be prouder of it he doesn't care he is a total sociopath so that's

35:28why like this yeah yeah you're right it's funny in the ron story and everything

35:32it's great and of course it's true too because you can't compare people i know

35:36who love and there are i have friends who they are california right they're they're

35:42like me with new york until covid i knew that new york had its problems

35:45and i was like when i used to do the show a show alone clay

35:48i would talk to other wr listeners i'm like guys we love this place i

35:52know it's you know i love the whole tri -state area and this is home

35:55for me and everything else and then covid finally broke me with it i know

35:58people who will say california is the most beautiful state in america the most wonderful

36:02state i absolutely love it but it's run really poorly yeah and i'm talking about

36:07democrats by the way i'm not talking about republicans i'm talking about people that i

36:10know who live there and they think the place is a mess but it's their

36:14it's their absolute favorite uh state anyway here's here's an analogy for you on that

36:19buck because i i think there are a lot of those people california is a

36:23super beautiful woman it can be so destructive to itself because so many people look

36:30at the natural beauty and are willing to put up with awfulness as a result

36:35i actually i would co -sign the analysis that california is like a uh is

36:39like a bikini model with borderline personality disorder look that one up by the way

36:44guys you don't want to be dealing with that so yeah it's uh it's like

36:49a it's like a victoria secret model with bpd it's very tough i i mean

36:55think about that as the analogy because it's such a naturally beautiful place that even

37:00when you are being led astray by it you come back and the beauty keeps

37:04you there because it is we've talked about this quite a bit of all the

37:07states out there if you just want to think about mountains skiing you know whatever

37:12you want if you want beautiful beaches i think california is the most beautiful state

37:17in america and as a result i think people put up with utter incompetence and

37:22uh it is in that way like many of you out there probably listening to

37:26me right now you've either dated or sometimes married beautiful women uh that are otherwise

37:33destructive and you just keep coming back because of the beauty i think there's a

37:37lot of men nodding along right now saying i've been there learned my lesson and

37:41so you're saying california exists on the crazy hot scale somewhere along the lines of

37:47like a stripper i mean that's that's kind of the which is the old crazy

37:50hot california is a 10 with 10 craziness yeah oftentimes that overlaps for those of

37:56you out there that have seen that great old guy drawing the crazy hot scale

38:00the crazy hot matrix the crazier you are the the hotter you are too you

38:06know what makes a lot of sense and isn't crazy at all being prepared for

44:18We just moments ago had Caroline Levitt from the West Wing addressing the country about

44:24Operation Epic Fury. This is what the White House press secretary just said moments ago.

44:3137 hit it. From the outset, President Trump and the Department of War estimated it

44:35would take approximately four to six weeks to achieve this critical mission.

44:3925 days in, the greatest military the world has ever known is ahead of schedule

44:44and performing exceptionally. Day by day, the Iranian regime is being crippled, and their ability

44:49to threaten the United States and our allies is being significantly weakened.

44:53Their ambitions of building a nuclear weapon have also been crushed to an even greater

44:57degree than they were in Operation Midnight Hammer in June 2025.

45:01The remaining elements of the Iranian regime have another opportunity to cooperate with President Trump,

45:07permanently abandon their nuclear ambitions, and cease actively threatening America and our allies.

45:13But the President's preference is always peace.

45:16There does not need to be any more death and destruction.

45:18But if Iran fails to accept the reality of the current moment, if they fail

45:23to understand that they have been defeated militarily and will continue to be, President Trump

45:28will ensure they are hit harder than they have ever been hit before.

45:32President Trump does not bluff, and he is prepared to unleash hell.

45:36Iran should not miscalculate again.

45:41Look, I think that, as we said, I think we nailed it.

45:45Right now, President Trump has got the carrot and the stick.

45:49And Buck's point is he may hit him with the carrot and the stick.

45:52But he said, by Friday, we need to have some form of resolution in this

45:58conflict. And if we don't, I really think he's going to take Cargillin and basically

46:04say, hey, we're taking over Iran's ability to produce and distribute oil and natural gas.

46:12And again, if you look at the way that the market is moving, by and

46:17large, oil has kind of gotten used to this situation right now.

46:22Price is not adjusting very much.

46:24One interesting thing, Buck, you and I last week, the price of oil and gas

46:28had differed largely, whether it was being produced in the Middle East or whether it

46:32was being produced in the United States.

46:34It skyrocketed in the Middle East.

46:36It's now come back to, at least this morning, where both the prices were very

46:41similar across the country and around the world.

46:44The divergence was no longer there.

46:46And I think it's because I was texting with a buddy this morning who's in

46:49private equity. And he said, hey, I think we're going to find out very quickly

46:54that the Strait of Hormuz is back open.

46:56And when that occurs, then we're going to be in a situation where the stock

47:00market's going to pop again because the fear has priced in a little bit and

47:05the reality is not what has been priced in by the markets.

47:09So we will see how exactly this ends up playing out.

47:12But I think Trump is letting it be known, hey, if you don't negotiate with

47:16me and if we don't get what we want, then there are going to be

47:19severe consequences. And it is funny to me, Buck, that Iran is nervous because twice

47:24Trump has been negotiating with them and just basically taking them out in Iran with

47:31June and then with the attack that killed Khomeini right off the bat on a

47:37Saturday when they had no idea what was going on.

47:39Yeah, it's tough to bluff someone at the poker table if you're worried they may

47:44flip over the poker table and just slap you unconscious.

47:48And that's kind of where Trump is with Iran.

47:49Like, he's not tolerating any nonsense.

48:37I think it's actually what we would do if there were truly an asteroid hurtling

48:42its way towards the planet.

48:43I think we would send a nuke and try to blow it up.

48:46I mean, we've been testing to see whether much smaller asteroids can be knocked out

48:52of the pathway of where they're going now, not ones that threaten the United States

48:57or the world that I know of.

48:58And, yeah, they blew it up.

48:59Did you know this? I look at NASA .gov.

49:03You would think they would know this.

49:05Asteroids are rocks. Comets are icy, and meteors are much smaller, that I knew, but

49:12so it was an asteroid in Armageddon.

49:14I didn't know the comets, did you know the comets are icy?

49:17Is that, I feel like, how is that even real?

49:20I think I knew that.

49:21You did? Good for you, I didn't know that.

49:23Well, I don't know that I thought much about the difference between asteroids and comets

49:27before, but I think that I knew that comets oftentimes had ice associated with them.

49:32The AI overview on Google of this says that comets are icy, dirty snowballs that

49:38form in the outer solar system.

49:40I did not know that they were icy, dirty snowballs.
