2:15Donald Trump is panicking as the full consequences of his failed negotiations with Iran in
2:22Islamabad, Pakistan, are setting in.
2:24As you are now aware, the Trump regime negotiators, J .D.
2:28Vance, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner at Donald Trump's orders tried to change the pre
2:35-approved negotiating framework that was based on a 10 -point plan that Iran made Donald
2:42Trump agreed to before a ceasefire was announced.
2:45Donald Trump agreed to the 10 -point plan, but then the Trump regime tried to
2:49bully and dictate the settlement terms at the Islamabad talks.
2:54Iran refused to accept those terms because Iran said we agreed on the 10 -point
2:59plan. The negotiations fell apart after about 20 hours of purported negotiations.
3:05And now Donald Trump is posting that he will be doing a full United States
3:11naval blockade of the Persian Gulf, which he says he will block all tankers from
3:17every country from going into the Persian Gulf in order to bring back crude oil
3:24to their country. So, Donald Trump's plan to open the door.
3:27open up the Strait of Hormuz is to further block the Strait of Hormuz right
3:33now by doing a blockade because as you may be aware, Iran is conducting bilateral
3:39discussions with countries across the world to allow allies or even neutral countries to use
3:47the Strait of Hormuz at a cost of about $2 million per tanker.
3:51And some countries that are allied with Iran don't have to pay that fee.
3:55So for example, China and Russia, they have access to the Strait of Hormuz.
4:00India, France, numerous other countries, Pakistan, other countries have been able to utilize the Strait
4:08of Hormuz by negotiating specific deals with Iran.
4:12And now Donald Trump's saying any of those ships, we will interdict or we will
4:18what? We're going to attack those ships because the United States will be doing a
4:22full naval blockade of the Persian Gulf.
4:27Donald Trump posted the following message.
4:30So there you have it.
4:31The meeting went well. Most points were agreed to, but the only point that really
4:36mattered, nuclear was not effective immediately.
4:39The United States Navy, the finest in the world, will begin the process of blockading
4:44any and all ships, trying to enter or leave the Strait of Hormuz.
4:49At some point, we will reach an all being allowed to go in, all being
4:53allowed to go out basis.
4:55But Iran has not allowed that to happen by merely saying there may be a
5:00mine out there somewhere that nobody knows about but them.
5:04This is world extortion and leaders of countries, especially the United States, will never be
5:09extorted. The Trump regime says that as they were imposing extortionate terms on Iran after
5:16agreeing to Iran's 10 -point negotiating framework and the bad faith that was exhibited in
5:21Islamabad by the United States and Donald Trump is similar to what has happened before
5:26in late February and then back in June in negotiations with Iran.
5:31Donald Trump then posted another message that Iran promised to open the Strait of Hormuz.
5:37They knowingly failed to do so.
5:39This is causing anxiety, dislocation, and pain to many people in countries throughout the world.
5:45They say they put mines in the water, even though all of their Navy and
5:48most of their mine droppers have been completely blown up.
5:51They may have done so, but what ship owner would want to take the chance?
5:55There is great dishonor and permanent harm to the reputation of Iran.
6:00And then he goes on and just kind of rants and raves like a lunatic.
6:03And it's all projection. There's great dishonor right now to the reputation of the United
6:07States. And other countries are now having bilateral discussions with Iran and what Donald Trump
6:12is, in essence, threatening a World War III, if you will, if you don't believe
6:16we're in one already. I mean, there was clearly a war involving the entire world.
6:20I don't want to get hyperbolic here, right?
6:22But there was a war involving pretty much all countries in the world.
6:25And now Donald Trump is saying the United States is going to impose a full
6:30naval blockade of the Persian Gulf to not allow Iran to do any types of
6:36deals with other countries, whether that country's France or the European Union or India or
6:41China. I mean, what's going to happen if a Chinese vessel shows up to enter
6:46the Strait of Hormuz? The naval blockade is going to attack the Chinese ships or
6:50the Russian ships or the Indian ships.
6:52Is that what the plan is?
6:53You have Iranian social media mocking this blockade concept.
6:57This is what they said.
6:58The new move from Trump against our country is so comical that we don't even
7:03have a meme for it, or we can't even find a meme for it.
7:06There's mocking Donald Trump and how pathetic he looks.
7:09Donald Trump then called into state regime media, which calls itself Fox.
7:13Maria Bartiroma, who was the host of the show that he called into, I mean,
7:17she was looking at him, frankly, like he was somebody who was like really suffering
7:21almost in like hospice care.
7:24And she was looking at him like, oh my God, this guy is really like
7:27just totally lost it. And she says, is this going to be enough?
7:31The blockade? Is this going to be enough?
7:33Listen to what Donald Trump says.
7:35Here, play this clip. I got it ended because of tariffs, which the Supreme Court
7:40was not nice to me about.
7:41Is this all going to be enough?
7:44The blockade in the strait, the opening up capacity in the United States for, is
7:49this going to be enough to lower the price of oil and gas, sir?
7:53Well, it's going to be eventually it's going to be lower.
7:55No, it might not happen initially, but it's going to it's going to go down
7:59when this is all over.
8:00Look, the stock market, the Dow had 50 ,000.
8:04It was supposed to be in four or five years.
8:06They said it won't happen during his term, but it'll be maybe four or five
8:10years. It had 50 ,000 in my first year.
8:14You know it better than anybody.
8:15You cover it better than anybody.
8:16The S &P, it said.
8:19Then she asks him, so do you believe that the price of oil and gas
8:23will be lower before the midterms?
8:25Listen to what he says here.
8:26Play this clip. So do you believe the price of oil and gas will be
8:30lower before the midterm elections?
8:32I hope so. I mean, I think so.
8:34It could be. It could be or the same or maybe a little bit higher,
8:37but it should be around the same.
8:39I think this won't be that much longer.
8:42They're wiped out. They're wiped out.
8:44And you don't get the you don't get a fair shake.
8:47You don't get you know, we need we need a free and fair press in
8:50this country. And I don't even know why people would do that.
8:53Why would they say how wonderful they're doing militarily?
8:57They're doing so well. They're totally what the country is wiped out.
9:00And then he said that I was thinking about calling it the Gulf of Trump.
9:04My new plan, maybe I'll call the Persian Gulf the Gulf of Trump.
9:08I mean, this is what he's saying right now as he's threatened a naval blockade.
9:11And by the way, senior officials say the blockade, they claim that the blockade is
9:17going to be taking place and that Navy sending its assets and the United CENTCOM
9:21will be sending assets to blockade it.
9:23But Trump's talking about also changing the name to the Gulf of Trump.
9:27Let's play this clip. I was thinking about calling it the Gulf of Trump and
9:32I decided not to do it.
9:35I think maybe it was a wise, I think that one maybe wouldn't have worked
9:38out. I'm not so sure you'll have to tell me, but I was thinking about
9:41it's going to be called the Gulf of Trump.
9:43And then I said, you know, that's not going to play too well.
9:46I think you're, you're, you know, I'm kidding.
9:49You're being, you're being facetious.
9:51I know that you have a headline, but what about oil exporters?
9:55So while Donald Trump has these kind of grandiose, you know, views of like, you
10:01know, and unlawful views, let's be very clear, war criminal views, let's be even clearer
10:06of changing the name of the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Trump.
10:10We're now actually seeing video of what went down when Iran stopped two United States
10:17Navy destroyers yesterday while the negotiations were taking place in Islamabad, Pakistan with Iran.
10:24Remember the Trump regime sent two Navy destroyers into the Persian Gulf, and they were
10:31going to try to send it through the Strait of Hormuz and then CENTCOM posted,
10:36we just did a successful mission.
10:38Our Navy destroyers went East and West through the Strait of Hormuz, and we were
10:42clearing all of the mines.
10:44And remember. for how we reported on the Midas Touch Network and Bloomberg reported and
10:48the Wall Street Journal reported.
10:49That didn't happen. What actually happened was quite embarrassing for the United States.
10:54I mean, yet another humiliation ritual.
10:56We sent our Navy destroyers to the Strait of Hormuz.
11:00The Iran Navy stopped it and said, we will fire upon you if you don't
11:04turn around. And the once very powerful United States Navy just turned itself around and
11:10did not go through the Strait of Hormuz, did not run any missions, yet CENTCOM,
11:15which once was CENTCOM, I mean, it had a ton of credibility, just lied and
11:19said that it's a successful mission.
11:21Well, now there's video of what went down.
11:23Iranian television released footage from yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz where the naval forces,
11:29which yes, they still exist despite Donald Trump claiming they don't, the naval forces of
11:34the Iranian Revolutionary Guard warned a U .S.
11:37warship, stay away from the Strait, or we will be shooting and blowing you up.
11:41And then the U .S.
11:42ship turns around and goes the other way.
11:44And yes, Donald Trump and CENTCOM lied about what happened as we told you they
11:48were. They were. Play this clip.
11:49Navy warship one, two, one.
11:51This is Sepa Navy Station.
11:54You must alter course and go back to the Indian Ocean immediately.
11:58If you don't obey my order, you will be targeted.
12:02Out. This is coalition warship one, two, one.
12:06Engage in transit passage in accordance with international law.
12:09No challenge is attended to you.
12:11U .S. Navy worship, transiting in the vicinity of Fujayi Airport and Oman Sea.
12:17This is Sepa Navy. This is Sepa Navy.
12:20Last warning, last warning, last warning, last warning.
12:31Attention all vessels, attention all vessels, attention all vessels in Oman Sea.
12:38This is Iranian Sepa Navy.
12:40If you see any warship in your vicinity, keep a distance more than 10 miles
12:46from them because I'm ready to open fire on them without any warning.
12:51You also have Iranian social media continuing to mock the Trump regime.
12:56Their social media accounts are posting things like this.
13:01Every Gulf has a name like the Gulf of Mexico and of course the Persian
13:04Gulf. Before Islamabad, we made clear zero trust.
13:08We are ready for whatever comes next.
13:10And they show this photo and it's Donald Trump with the shadow of Netanyahu in
13:14the Oval Office. True peace requires confronting the shadows governing the White House.
13:20By the way, while the critical negotiations were taking place regarding the ceasefire in Islamabad,
13:28Pakistan, when Trump sent Whitcoff and J .D.
13:30Vance and J .D. Vance, Whitcoff and Kushner to negotiate with the Iranians, what was
13:38Donald Trump doing? You know, Donald Trump was at the UFC fight.
13:41I did a video this morning which showed that Dana White had to hold Donald
13:45Trump's hand because Trump's physically and mentally deteriorating so quickly.
13:50But then Donald Trump went up to one of the UFC fighters during the fight
13:54and said how handsome he was.
13:56Like, Trump was like hitting on the UFC fighter.
13:58I just want you to try to wrap your head around this, right?
14:01While the United States was in this critical negotiation and Trump sent these negotiators to
14:07act in bad faith in Islamabad, Pakistan, Trump was at a UFC fight like hitting
14:12on, like, does he want to like date the fighters?
14:15Like, you're so handsome. You're so good looking.
14:16Oh, you're so strong and muscular.
14:18Here, play this clip. Thank you!
14:21Don't do what you're doing.
14:22You're a beautiful man. I just had to show that to you because what is
14:37happening with our country, what has happened to him?
14:39This is absolute madness. And again, I don't care what political party you're with, this
14:44is madness. Okay, going back to Donald Trump's call to Maria Bartiroma, more talk about
14:50bombing around to the Stone Age.
14:52Let's play this clip. Well, but in one half of a day, they wouldn't have
14:57one bridge standing. They wouldn't have one electric generating plant standing.
15:02And they're back in the Stone Ages.
15:05I'd rather not do that.
15:06But I do believe they're going to come to the table on this because nobody
15:11can be so stupid as to say that we want to have nuclear weapons and
15:16they have no cards. They have no cards whatsoever.
15:17So if they do not give up that effort, is that the plan?
15:22Will you further destruct Iran?
15:25Yeah, I will. If they don't give that plan up, yeah.
15:28I'm not in the future.
15:29What we want to do is we'll open up the strait.
15:31But the ships are coming up to the United States.
15:34I've been inviting everybody. It's pretty good.
15:37Let's talk about that, Mr.
15:38President. By the way, I just find the coverage right now of what's taking place
15:43in Islamabad, Pakistan, the war coverage in general.
15:48I mean, by corporate media is just so bad.
15:52And it's been such an honor here at the Midas Touch Network to be able
15:55to report the truth of what's really happening and keeping you multiple steps ahead of
16:00everything so you knew about the 10 -point negotiating framework weeks ago, right?
16:05That wasn't a shock to you.
16:07That's how we have to follow the truth every single day by bringing the receipts.
16:11I just found this so interesting right here.
16:13This is the headline. You ready?
16:15Trump says empty tankers heading to the U .S.
16:20to load up with oil and gas, right?
16:22And Trump is saying that to, one, he is clearly unfamiliar with the way oil
16:27markets work. And also, he's trying to tell whatever remaining base he has that it's
16:33all good. Everyone's going to get their oil from the U .S.
16:36So we don't need the strait of Hormuz is basically the point that Donald Trump
16:40is making. And so if you just look at the distribution of coverage here, like
16:45right -wing media was all over this.
16:47And they were reporting, everybody, it's all good.
16:50Trump says the empty tankers are heading to the U .S.
16:52to load up with oil and gas.
16:54Okay, but the way oil works, there's an international market.
16:57There's WTI and Brent crude.
17:00And what's happening in the strait of Hormuz impacts prices across the world.
17:05And so this is just more propaganda being fed to kind of the right -wing
17:10base to distract them from what's really happening and the dire consequences that are unfolding.
17:16And I just think sorting through a lot of this coverage that's out there, it
17:21can just be a nightmare sometime because depending on the outlets you're getting your information
17:26from, it's just an utter mess.
17:28You get different versions of events.
17:30All I want is the truth.
17:31And that's exactly why I partner with Ground News for this episode.
17:35And frankly, I use their news function for all of my episodes because they're the
17:41best tool for me to stay objective with my reporting.
17:44Ground News is an app and a website that pulls in thousands of articles from
17:48around the world and organizes them by story to show you how's the left, how's
17:52the center, how's the right framing stories differently.
17:55For every story, there's a color -coded layout that makes it easy to see the
17:59political bias of each source.
18:00I can filter for high -factor actuality sources and see which sources are independently owned
18:05or owned by a large media conglomerate with corporate interests.
18:08This lets you compare reporting on the same issue in one place, so you can
18:12come to your own conclusions based on all the facts.
18:14On this article, for example, you can see the distribution about how right -wing was
18:19covering this more, which is why Ground News even has a dedicated blind spot feed,
18:23a personal favorite of mine which highlights stories being disproportionately covered on either side of
18:28the political aisle to help burst through the echo chambers.
18:32Because I believe in Ground News so much, we're offering you 40 % off the
18:36same vantage plan that I use for my research here.
18:40Just go click the link in the description or go to ground .news slash MTN
18:44or scan the QR code up here.
18:46It's one of the biggest discounts they've ever offered.
18:49If you want to support the channel and get a clearer understanding of the world,
18:52try out Ground News. Now, back to my reporting right here, Iran's parliament leader M
18:58.B. Galabaf recently posted the following message.
19:01Before the negotiations with the United States, I emphasized that we have the necessary good
19:06faith and will, but due to the experiences of two previous wars, we have no
19:11trust in the opposing side.
19:13My colleagues on the Iranian delegation, which was called the Manab 168, it was named
19:19after the elementary school that the Trump regime bombed and killed over 165 little girls,
19:26raised forward -looking initiatives. But the opposing side, the United States, ultimately failed to gain
19:32the trust of the Iranian delegation in this round of negotiations.
19:37America has understood our logic and principles, and now it's time for it to decide
19:41whether it can earn our trust or not.
19:44We consider every mirror to be another method of authority, diplomacy, alongside military struggle for
19:52upholding the rights of the Iranian nation, and we will not for a moment cease
19:57our efforts to consolidate the achievements of the 40 days of Iran's national defense.
20:03I'm also grateful for the efforts of our friendly, brotherly country, Pakistan, in facilitating the
20:09process of these negotiations, and I send my regards to the people of Pakistan.
20:13Iran is a body with 90 million souls from all the heroic people of Iran
20:19who, following the advice of the supreme leader and by taking to the streets, supported
20:24their children and sent us on our way with their blessings.
20:27For this, I am grateful.
20:28And to my colleagues in these intense 21 -hour negotiations, I say, well done.
20:34God strengthen you. Long live and enduring be our dear Iran.
20:40So that's the message coming out of Iran right now.
20:43Contrast that to what Donald Trump continues to say.
20:46We're putting on a complete blockade, a complete blockade.
20:48Here, play this clip. Tell us what you're trying to accomplish with this blockade, sir.
20:52All in, all out. Yep.
20:53It's called all in and all out.
20:55There'll be a time when we'll have them all come in and all come out,
20:57but it won't be a percentage.
20:59It won't be a friend of yours, like a country that's your ally or a
21:03country that's your friend. It's all or nothing.
21:05And that'll be, that won't be in too long a distance.
21:08No, we're just bringing the ships up.
21:10We've got a lot of ships, so we're bringing them up.
21:13We think that numerous countries are going to be helping us with this also, but
21:17we're putting on a complete blockade.
21:19We're not going to let Iran make money on selling oil to people that they
21:23like and not people that they don't like or whatever it is.
21:26It's going to be all or none, and that's the way it is.
21:29And it'll be, you saw what we did with Venezuela.
21:33It'll be something very similar to that, but at a, at a higher level.
21:37And, and Mr. President, you say that there may be a, or Donald Trump.
21:40saying i'm gonna wipe out iran in one day let's play it i could take
21:44out iran in one day i could take down in one in one hour i
21:50could have their entire energy everything every one of their plants their electric generating plants
21:55which is a big deal and i hate to do it because if i do
21:59it it takes you 10 years to rebuild they'll never be able to rebuild it
22:03and the other thing you take out of their bridges i took out one just
22:06to show them because they went public with a statement that wasn't true they admitted
22:12it i say i'm going to take out a bridge and i took out a
22:15bridge and that was the end of that now they've been really behaving quite well
22:20but in one half of a day they wouldn't have one bridge standing they wouldn't
22:26have one electric generating plant standing and they're back in the stone ages or donald
22:31trump saying yeah i'm good with destroying the whole civilization of iran this is what
22:36he said this morning let's play it mr president you were criticized for this treat
22:40because you said a whole civilization will die tonight what do you want to say
22:43about that and what can you tell us about next steps here are you planning
22:48for the destruction yeah i'm fine with it that statement brought them to the table
22:52with the exception of the one thing which i believe that they're going to give
22:56up on i believe they're going to give up in that pretty soon to be
22:59honest because it's not going to work uh we were we actually thought we had
23:03them and then all of a sudden they said no we won so you know
23:07but and then donald trump referred to um the f -15e pilots who were purportedly
23:14recovered by the united states although i think this entire story raises lots of question
23:19marks who are these f -15e pilots why were there 100 special forces involved why
23:24do we lose two c -130s multiple helicopters multiple mq -9 reaper drones why was
23:29it right next to the isfahan facility why did we build an entire airstrip over
23:33there lots of questions i mean was this a failed mission to extract uranium from
23:37the isfahan facility and the f -15e pilot story was pretext and subterfuge and cover
23:44-up for that but donald trump now says we captured the pilots referring to our
23:49own pilots as capturing our own pilots anyway here let's play this clip right here
23:54you don't get a fair shake you don't get you know we need we need
23:57a free and fair press in this country and i i don't even know why
24:01people would do that why would they say how wonderful they're doing militarily they're doing
24:06so well they're totally what the country is wiped out we lost one airplane and
24:10we we captured the two pilots how about we save those two pilots unbelievable which
24:15no other country has the capability it's very bizarre phrasing also everybody should pay attention
24:20right now to the strait that's in the red sea right we've been talking about
24:26the strait of hormuz focus on the strait in the red sea because if this
24:31blockade is a real thing that donald trump is going to do by the way
24:34which is going to send crude prices i think above 115 120 a barrel in
24:40no time iran's next logical move is activate the houthis to basically shut down the
24:45red sea and then that'll take the 115 dollars per barrel up to 150 dollars
24:51per barrel and uh you know as as this crisis escalates um this guy by
24:57the name of danny citronitz um he was a intelligence officer by the way from
25:03israel um regarding iran and regarding the middle east he's actually had spot -on analysis
25:10about the folly and the damage and danger um and fatal errors being made by
25:16the trump regime in iran and here's what he basically notes about all of this.
25:22The escalation now appears increasingly unavoidable, especially as Trump significantly raises the stakes with the
25:28blockade. Iran is unlikely to back down.
25:31It will likely test U .S.
25:32resolve by targeting American naval assets while also attempting to disrupt commercial shipping through the
25:38Strait of Hormuz or deter tankers from transiting altogether.
25:42Such developments almost certainly trigger a sharp spike in global oil prices with cascading second
25:48and third order effects, particularly across Asian economies that rely heavily on Gulf energy flows.
25:54At the same time, Iran will aim to project resilience and avoid appearing to capitulate
25:59under pressure. Further escalation would increase the likelihood of Houthi action in the Bab al
26:05-Mandeep Strait in the Red Sea, potentially threatening another critical maritime choke point.
26:10It would also raise the risk of Iranian strikes against infrastructure designed to bypass Hormuz,
26:16including pipelines such as the East -West Corridor.
26:19While Iran would sustain significant damage, it will attempt to maintain oil exports through alternative
26:24routes like the JASC terminal, calculating the Gulf states may ultimately suffer greater economic harm.
26:31In any case, this is not a scenario with a clear winner, only varying degrees
26:36of losers. Although I would argue that Iran, China, and Russia are winners in all
26:42of this. China being the biggest, Russia being the second, the US and NATO being
26:47the big losers in all of this.
