0:00This is an iHeart Podcast.
0:02Guaranteed Human. Welcome back in.
0:05Good Friday edition of the program.
0:08We are rolling with many of you.
0:10Lots of people out of work today.
0:13Off work today, maybe more accurately.
0:16I hope all of you, wherever you may be.
0:18Lots of people traveling as well.
0:20I hope everybody traveling. I hope you, wherever you may be, are having a good,
0:25blessed weekend beginning with you and your family.
0:28Buck and I are here with you.
0:30Let me fill you in on a couple of big stories that are going on.
0:34One of the two crew members has been rescued after an F -15 was reportedly
0:41shot down in Iran. Rapid search underway for the second of those pilots.
0:49And again, one pilot rescued intense search for the other.
0:54Way more new jobs created than was anticipated as we began the first hour of
1:00the program, letting all of you know.
1:03And I am monitoring, making sure that I'm on top of the absolute latest on
1:08that search for the second pilot.
1:11Again, one pilot has been rescued since the start of this program when we brought
1:16you the news about that.
1:18All right. We've been talking about the Artemis mission.
1:22We have talked about a great deal already in the first hour.
1:27Some fun, Buck. Sylvia writes in, Clay, I am 88 years old and I heard
1:34that kid say friggin' and I have hearing aids.
1:37Do you need hearing aids?
1:40Thanks for listening, Sylvia. I don't think so.
1:42Although, to be fair, Buck, I went through the drive -thru this morning to get
1:47my kids some McDonald's because they're out of school today for Good Friday and the
1:52lady, I think she was Hispanic, was trying to ask me if I needed jelly
1:56for my buttered biscuits and I had no idea what she was saying coming through
2:00the intercom there at the drive -thru.
2:03So maybe I'm on my way to needing hearing aids.
2:06I don't know. Although, I do think there's quite a few people that also heard
2:09on that clip the exact same thing that I heard.
2:12Maybe it's just a sign No, no, no.
2:16Of how dirty our hearings are.
2:22Okay, let's see. Hold on a second.
2:24Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
2:25I need to know something here.
2:27You go butter and jelly?
2:29Are you a butter and jelly guy on biscuits?
2:31You double up? Yes, I am.
2:34But I'm fat. So these biscuits were...
2:37You know, you think you know a guy.
2:40You think you know a guy.
2:42These biscuits were for my 11 -year -old who all he wanted from McDonald's for
2:48breakfast this morning, he said, Dad, just give me three butter biscuits.
2:52So he just wanted butter on him, straight butter biscuits.
2:55And so I was trying to order those and the jelly question got me all
3:00befuddled. Okay, we do have a couple of talkbacks here.
3:06And by the way, the clip that we played in the first hour was of
3:11a little kid who was at the Artemis launch and was super excited.
3:15I thought he used a different F word.
3:18This is pretty funny. Robert from Fort Bragg, North Carolina, 106 .1 FM.
3:25Making a joke here. See if you get it.
3:27Hey, Clay and Buck. Robert from North Carolina, Fort Bragg area.
3:32Now I can see why y 'all haven't called it the Buck and Clay Show.
3:37Say that fast five times real quick.
3:40That gets you in trouble.
3:44There's a hundred percent. It's a fair point.
3:46I would be scared. I'd be scared to say it five times real fast on
3:49the radio. You'd get a call from the boss.
3:52You know what I mean?
3:52Yeah, FCC would take us out in handcuffs regularly if we had to pronounce that
3:58coming in and out. But this is Linda who says she's dying laughing.
4:04It was fricking or frigging made me laugh.
4:09Even reading these emails, I feel like I'm dancing on very thin ice.
4:16Paul from Wisconsin. News Talk 1130.
4:19What you got for us, Paul?
4:20Hey, Clay. This is Paul from Wisconsin.
4:22Thanks so much for playing that fricking clip by that kid.
4:26That was fricking hilarious. See, I can hear him.
4:29I can hear the enunciation there.
4:32All right. You know what else is fricking hilarious?
4:34It is Gavin Newsom's wife has started to go viral for being crazy.
4:40And I don't know how many of you have heard this, but she's been doing
4:44a lot of interviews. And so far, she had kind of fallen under the radar.
4:50But she seems to be a true adherent of the woke virus buck.
4:55And here she is saying she gives her boys baby dolls to learn about caregiving.
5:01Cut 19. I've given our boys dolls, even if they tear that off.
5:07I've given them dolls to learn that care and caregiving is not just an activity
5:12that's reserved for women, but that it's also an activity that is a responsibility of
5:19men. What I've done with both my daughters and my sons is if I'm reading
5:24a book, a book and the protagonist is a male, I just change the he
5:27to a she. And it just normalizes for my sons in particular.
5:31I don't even just do it for my girls.
5:33I do it for my sons because I want them to see that women can
5:36be the center of a story.
5:38That women matter. That women are interesting.
5:42What a weirdo, Buck. This is...
5:45You know, you did something that I wasn't expecting.
5:50You made me have some sympathy for Gavin Newsom.
5:52That guy's got his hands full, man.
5:54That guy's... That's rough. You haven't started reading books to your kids.
6:01He's only one. You're reading, I guess, maybe at bedtime?
6:04Last night, I'm reading... Can I tell you something that's really funny to me, actually?
6:08Speed is going to be one in about a week.
6:11April 11th is his birthday, so we're very excited.
6:13We're going to have a wild party for our one -year -old involving lots of
6:17his favorite little fruit crisp things that he likes to eat so much.
6:21And he has a bunch of books by his bed.
6:25Now, he can't read, obviously.
6:27I mean, he'll be able to read very soon because he's my son.
6:29But he's not yet one, so he can't read.
6:32And... But he... The only book he wants...
6:36It's almost like magic. We have a whole bunch of children's books for him, the
6:39big pictures and things, where the wild things are.
6:42That's it. If you try to put another book in front of him, he slaps
6:45it away. He loves where the wild things are, which I got to say, I
6:50mean, you grew up... I had that when I was a kid.
6:52You had it. The... What is it about that book?
6:56It's just stood the test of time, in a way.
6:58I would have thought there'd be all these new children's books now and everything else.
7:01That book is like a classic among classics.
7:05Good Night, Moon was one that my kids absolutely loved, that every time I read
7:11it, I'm kind of amazed at how popular it is.
7:15I bet every mom, dad, grandma, grandpa out there has read Good Night, Moon at
7:20some point in time. And my thought when I heard that clip, the dolls part
7:25was weird, but it didn't make as...
7:27I didn't focus on it as much as the back end there.
7:31Changing the gender of the heroes of children's stories is a crazy thing to do.
7:38I mean, it is... Like, I'm thinking about it in the context of...
7:43Like, my kids all loved Harry Potter.
7:46Before they could read, we read Harry Potter.
7:49The fact that Hermione Granger is a girl is a significant part of that story.
7:54The fact that Harry Potter is a boy is a significant part of that story.
7:58They have male names. They have female names.
8:01Gender is real. The idea that you would be changing the gender of anyone in
8:07a children's story is something that a crazy person would do.
8:12Like, this is not a normal thought process.
8:14And it actually thought to me, this manufactured delusion, she has become, Buck, delusional.
8:21She has. Like, it actually makes no sense at all, the choice that she's making.
8:25It's more work. And it's nonsensical.
8:31I just got so excited.
8:32Clay used the title of the book.
8:33Thank you. Sorry. Just threw it in there.
8:35I appreciate that. Clay's helping with the promo.
8:37It is a manufactured delusion with her book.
8:40I mean, it just makes no sense.
8:41It's becoming a phrase. It's becoming a phrase more and more people are using.
8:44That's why you got to go get the book.
8:47But, Clay, I think that Gavin Newsom's wife is exactly, this is what's so funny
8:51about it. If you and I were coming up with, what's Gavin Newsom's wife like?
8:57An actress who's sort of up -talks and is, like, really about feminism and, like,
9:02female leads in a story.
9:04And that's what it, like, I knew this.
9:07I'd never seen his wife until recently or I'd never heard her speak or anything.
9:10And I said, yeah, that's exactly what I would assume Gavin Newsom's wife is like.
9:15You can just tell. You can just tell.
9:18The same way that I've never heard AOC.
9:20Is she married to that guy?
9:21Is she married to that guy?
9:22Are they married? I think she got married to the red -haired guy, yeah.
9:25Yeah, the red -haired guy.
9:26By the way, I'm going to say this.
9:28It's good work for him.
9:29No, no doubt. Yeah. You know, there's some guys who see a guy who's going,
9:34you know, I married up, you know, whatever, fine.
9:37That's the whole point of being a dude.
9:38You outkicked your coverage. I mean, the whole goal of men, I think, should be
9:44to end up with women that are better looking than you are.
9:46I mean, that's a good life goal.
9:49This is why we sit in cubicles and do all these things we do for
9:52so many hours so we can, like, level up a couple levels, you know, with
9:56the ladies. But I would say there are some guys who see a guy who
10:00has outkicked his coverage, you know, and he's gone up a couple levels on the
10:04hotness scale for his partner, and they get, like, jealous or they think it's not
10:10fair. I'm always like, high five, buddy.
10:12It's good to know. It's good to know that guys are getting it done out
10:15there. You know, it's good to know that we can still aspire.
10:20So I think that AOC's husband deserves credit, at least for that.
10:24But I would also say I don't think he's a bro -y guy.
10:27You can just tell. You're like, he's married to AOC.
10:30He probably kind of mumbles about, like, yeah, I'm a male feminist, you know.
10:34Yeah. You can just tell.
10:36This is the reality of who these people are.
10:38You can tell based on what they would be subjected to day in and day
10:41out. So Gavin Newsom, of course he's not going to have – his wife's not
10:44going to be some cool chick that he just wants to sit down and hang
10:46out with and have a conversation.
10:47She's pretty, of course. You know, I mean, Gavin Newsom, very superficial guy.
10:51Of course she's pretty. But is she, like, talking about things that she doesn't really
10:55understand? And does she think that, like, everyone from the South is, like, maybe kind
10:59of racist? Yes. No surprise.
11:02Yeah, well, I mean, I think also, yes, this is what, wife two?
11:09This is the wife after he slept with his best friend's wife while he was
11:14the mayor of San Francisco.
11:16Was he married to Kim Guilfoyle?
11:18I believe he was. Oh, yeah.
11:19That was his first wife.
11:20Yeah. But I had somebody come up to me over the weekend who knows Gavin
11:25Newsom actually quite well. And we were talking about 2028.
11:29That's how it came up, like, who are the Democrats going to nominate?
11:32Not like we were just sitting around, hey, let's talk about Gavin Newsom.
11:35And he said that he was a Californian.
11:38And he said that he knew Gavin Newsom quite well, and lots of people did.
11:42And they said that for people who knew him on a personal level, this is
11:47people that actually know him, the sleeping with his best friend's wife, while I think,
11:53was it his best friend was like his chief of staff, in some way, there
11:58was a connection there, too, was a line of demarcation that a lot of them
12:03cut Gavin Newsom off and just said, this guy's a sociopath.
12:06And I think a lot of guys out there kind of can get this.
12:10I mean, look, cheating on your wife, not a good thing to do.
12:14Cheating on your wife when it is your best friend's wife, supposedly, is, I mean,
12:22for a lot of guys, is just like a lunatic, lunatic, selfish, destructive behavior.
12:30Like, you need significant help -style decision -making.
12:34And this is somebody who knew him personally and said that was a point where
12:38a lot of people were just done with him on a personal level.
12:41And it doesn't get talked about that much, but I do think it's significant.
12:45He's the perfect Democrat. This is my whole point.
12:49He's like a lizard person who just changes with the temperature around him as necessary.
12:54He's a chameleon. He turns into the color of his surroundings.
12:57It doesn't matter. He doesn't care.
13:00There's nothing left. There's no, like, voice from the soul internally that's saying, hey, man,
13:06that's really gross. Don't say that.
13:08Or, hey, you really shouldn't support that.
13:11No. Anything. Perfect vessel for the Democrats.
13:14Joe Biden, in many ways, perfect vessel for the Democrats.
13:17Look, sounds, you know, presents old -timey grandpa that, like, couldn't be that radical, couldn't
13:25be that progressive. And, you know, of course, we'll all lie.
13:30Gavin Newsom, in his own way, perfect for the Democrats.
13:33Soulless, but slick. Soulless, but slick.
13:37That's what they need. That's what they want.
13:39Someone who will say whatever.
13:40People got mad at us.
13:41We had, by the way, I think the Democrat who came on seems like a
13:44nice guy. I think he's confused about what political party he belongs to.
13:46Or he's lying about what he actually thinks about that stuff, which I can't.
13:50If someone says, hey, if I say, hey, do you agree with Trump securing the
13:53border? They go, yes, I think that's a great idea.
13:54What do you want me to do?
13:55Be like, no, you're lying.
13:57What am I supposed to do?
13:58The guy says it's a great idea.
14:00Okay. So, but that guy, I think, you know, I think he's confused about his
14:06party. But I think a lot of his general impulses, General Harris, we had a
14:12lot of general impulses make sense and come from a place of honor.
14:15Gavin Newsom. Gavin Newsom doesn't know how to spell honor.
14:18Gavin Newsom is, but I say that with some degree, Clay, of, not reverence, what's
14:24the word I'm like, I almost respect how soulless he is.
14:29It's pretty amazing. Like, his X factor is that he'll say and do anything he
14:34has to do for power.
14:35It does not matter. It's actually very Hillary Clinton in that sense.
14:38Anything goes. Whatever works. That's very powerful.
14:41You know, you guys saw me yesterday and I was actually drinking this glass of
14:47blue water. I mean, you know, not clear because that's what water is.
14:50It was actually like this light blue color.
14:53That was Chad mode because I take it during the show sometimes.
14:56You get me fired up.
14:56I got to keep up with Clay, who's like the Energizer bunny.
14:59This guy's like a freak show of media.
15:00I've never seen anything like it.
15:01He'll do 50 media hits.
15:03I wake up. I'm like, you did like six Fox hits last night.
15:05You've only been awake for 10 hours.
15:07So, how do I try to keep up here on the show?
15:10Chad mode from chalk. Chalk is an incredible company.
15:13And the chalk daily product has been on my desk for years now.
15:16Now, chalk daily is great.
15:17That's got a lot of things in it you can take every day.
15:19Obviously, chalk daily. And that's going to be helping with a whole spectrum of things
15:24that include energy drive, focus, and the chalk male vitality stack.
15:28For a lot of you guys out there, if you want to do a little
15:29bit of something that specifically boosts testosterone levels over time, up to 20 % in
15:34just three months, according to studies, that's where the male vitality stack comes in.
15:38But basically, your one -stop shop for the highest quality supplements is chalk.
15:42Go to chalk, C -H -O -Q .com.
15:45Unlock chalk spring special. Get yourself some Chad mode.
15:47Try this stuff. I just drink it straight in water, by the way.
15:50I don't even need to make it.
15:51You can mix it with juice or whatever you want, but I just take it
15:54in water. I think it's delicious.
15:55Go to chalk .com, C -H -O -Q .com.
15:58When you subscribe with my name, Buck, is your promo code.
16:00Chalk will pack a free $99 bag of chalk lip powder with your first delivery.

16:18Each day, spend time with...
16:20Clay and Buck. Find them on the free iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your
16:25podcasts. Welcome back in here to Clay and Buck.
16:28Let's get to some of the latest here from, well, from our audience, of course,
16:36our beloved audience. I was trying to think of what we could do in the
16:38next one minute of time.
16:39We have Mike Rogers is going to be joining us during the program today.
16:43He's a former FBI, what?
16:452 .30 in an hour from now.
16:48The way Clay looked at me, I was like, I didn't get his name wrong,
16:50did I? That's always a bummer.
16:53But yes, there will be Mike Rogers joining us, talking about some of the situation
16:58in Iran. As we know, there's one pilot recovered.
17:00I believe we're still trying to figure out what's happened with the other pilot down
17:05over in Iran. And in the meantime, there's a lot of things going on here.
17:13This is something that came up.
17:15Oh, wait, I got 30 seconds.
17:17I'm like, no. Do you want to do a little bit of the Pam Bondi
17:19aftermath? What? Yeah, let's talk.
17:22Let's talk about the Bondi situation.
17:24We come back on the flip side because that story kind of got snowed under
17:27with everything else going on.
17:29Usually when you fire the attorney generally gets more attention than it has.
17:32We'll talk about some of the names that are being considered bandied about whether Lee
17:37Zeldin is going to be the guy.
17:38Is there a possibility that they decide to stay in house and elevate Todd Blanche?
17:44Could they go into the Senate?
17:46And we'll get some more of your talkbacks.
17:48A lot of you reacting here on this Good Friday.

18:55Clay, Travis, and Buck Sexton.
18:57Welcome back in. Clay, Travis, Buck Sexton Show.
19:01Okay. Yesterday, during the program, Pam Bondi, Attorney General out.
19:06Not even very much discussion today about the fact that President Trump moved on from
19:12his Attorney General yesterday. These are the names that are at the top right now
19:18of the poly market who will be the next Attorney General prediction markets, Buck.
19:25I'm going to hit these for you.
19:26We talked about a variety of different names.
19:28Lee Zeldin is a pretty big favorite.
19:3053 % right now, coin flip, but he's the favorite, to be the next Attorney
19:36General. He is the current EPA head.
19:39Then you have Todd Blanche, who is the interim, was working as the second in
19:44charge of the Department of Justice, has now been elevated.
19:47For those of you certainly who remember, Todd Blanche was President Trump's private attorney during
19:52much of the criminal mess that he had when he was not in office.
19:56They seemed to have a very good relationship.
19:58And then in third place, 25 % chance right now that it will be Todd
20:03Blanche. In third place, Judge Jeanine Pirro, who is right now the head of the
20:10D .C. Attorney's Office that has been prosecuting as the District Attorney, basically, of the
20:16District of Columbia. Many of those cases, obviously, also very well known to many of
20:22you as a panelist on The Five, which is the most popular show on cable
20:28before she was elevated into this job.
20:30A couple of other names that are out there, they are substantial underdogs.
20:35Ken Paxton. Now, I don't know, Buck, if Ken Paxton could be confirmed by the
20:42United States Senate. He is the current Attorney General of Texas.
20:46He's been on this program many times.
20:48He is running against John Cornyn in the Senate primary.
20:53This would be kind of a masterstroke for Trump.
20:57Ken Paxton has been a longtime ally of President Trump.
21:01If he were able, and I don't know if he would be able to, but
21:05if he were able to be confirmed by the Senate, remember, we only have 53
21:10votes, so you assume unified opposition from Democrats.
21:14Ken Paxton maybe could be an incredible choice because it would end the Senate battle
21:21in Texas and basically take Texas and the amount of money that's going to be
21:26spent between now and late May off the table and kind of put Tallarico down
21:33in a way that he would be unlikely to win.
21:36It ends the acrimony of the primary.
21:39Ken Paxton would get a more important, I would argue, job as the Attorney General
21:44than he has right now in the Senate.
21:46Those are the times. You and I talked about the fact that we thought Ron
21:50DeSantis would be an amazing attorney general.
21:53I'll stand by that. If they wanted to go in the Senate, Mike Lee could
21:58make a lot of sense because theoretically he would be easy to confirm.
22:03That's kind of what I would say top five or six.
22:05You mentioned Harmeet Dillon. Where do you see this going?
22:08Do you think the favorites, do you think it's very likely it's going to be
22:11Lee Zeldin and or Todd Blanche?
22:13That's about an 85 % chance according to the prediction mark.
22:17Or do you think Trump could just go off the board?
22:19I think that Trump is running yet another episode of The Apprentice, The Apprentice Department
22:27of Justice, meaning that he wants everyone to be in a tizzy running around thinking
22:33about who could be, who will be.
22:36You know, the only person who knows, Clay, is Donald Trump.
22:40I think that he's probably still considering what his options are.
22:44He's going to listen to different voices over the days ahead.
22:47I think all of these options are strong, the ones that he's talking about.
22:53And I don't think Ron DeSantis, I don't think he will be asked, nor do
22:56I think he would take the job, quite honestly, for a bunch of reasons.
22:59Let me ask you this, by the way.
23:01Sorry to cut you off, but I get a lot of responses on this.
23:04What is Ron DeSantis going to do?
23:06He is an elite political talent who has transformed the state of Florida in his
23:11eight years. His term ends in November.
23:15He's not going to run again.
23:17Byron Donalds, I believe, is going to be the next governor of the great state
23:21of Florida. I think Byron Donalds is going to do a good job.
23:25But Ron DeSantis, come November, basically, I know he'll serve until January when we have
23:30a sworn in, swearing in occurring of the new governor.
23:33What is he going to do?
23:35Well, the easiest thing would be to go into the private sector and make a
23:39whole bunch of money, which I think he could easily do.
23:41The less easy thing that I actually think is the more likely thing is that
23:44he will run for president.
23:46But he'll run for president, as Ron DeSantis would, saying, hey, I think I'd be
23:50the best for this job.
23:52But I'd also be a great secretary of state under a J .D.
23:55Vance or a Marco Rubio or whatever administration.
23:59So I think he's going to run.
24:02I think he's going to run because I think now we've seen running for president,
24:05and this has been played out many times in recent elections going back now decades,
24:10running for president is a brand -enhancing and sometimes cabinet position -enabling maneuver.
24:18So why not? So that's what I think he's probably going to do.
24:22And basically, as we have talked about, it sounds like he would be out of
24:25office, but the presidential primary starts basically in January of 27.
24:30When people come out of Christmas and New Year's, the 2028 presidential cycle will begin
24:37by January and February and March.
24:39Everybody will be announcing that they are going to be running for president.
24:43We'll see how many they end up actually being.
24:45I hope everyone enjoyed the one year of Trump's second term where we weren't essentially
24:51gearing up for either a midterm or a presidential election because that's the way that
24:55this goes. We had one year, and now we're in the midterm year, and then
24:59it's going to be the beginning of the presidential cycle.
25:01So we're going to be jumping into this right away.
25:03But, yeah, I think Ron's going to run, and I think very much in the
25:06way that he even ran the last time, which obviously didn't work against Trump, didn't
25:10work very well at all, but he'll run on, hey, guys, I think I'm great
25:15for the job. But he's not going to get ugly with fellow Republicans.
25:19I think he'll probably be, if he does run, and I'm right, he'll be smiling
25:23at Rubio on the stage.
25:24And, again, I don't even know, there's a lot of talk as to whether J
25:27.D. or Rubio is the heir apparent.
25:29I don't really have a, I think they're both really solid choices.
25:32I don't really have a dog in that fight.
25:34Some people feel very, very strongly about it.
25:36I'm somewhat agnostic. I think they're both, if I thought one was much weaker than
25:39the other, I'd have a strong opinion on it.
25:42But right now, I want to see that play out.
25:44But I think, yeah, Ron would be somebody who, if he were to run again,
25:48it would be, hey, let's see what kind of traction I get.
25:50Slash, he would be a really good AG or Secretary of State.
25:53I don't think he wants to be the AG at the end of Trump's second
25:56term, quite honestly. That's where he doesn't want to go.
25:59Let me give you one.
26:02It's a sad story. Justice Alito report came down.
26:07Sounds like he's fine, but he was hospitalized in March after a Federalist -related issue
26:13with his health. They said he was dehydrated.
26:16He had to be taken to the hospital.
26:18If you are looking at the landscape of available candidates for the Supreme Court and
26:26you are trying to avoid a Ketanji Brown -Jackson situation, I think Ron DeSantis would
26:33be an incredible Supreme Court justice.
26:37I don't know that anybody else has ever said this.
26:41Alito and Clarence Thomas, he has a good relationship with both.
26:46I don't know that he would want it.
26:47I haven't talked to Ron DeSantis about this, but I'll tell you a story.
26:51I don't think I've told this story on the air before.
26:53DeSantis is a legal nerd, and that's not an attack.
26:56That is an endorsement. He reads the actual opinions, as one should, as the chief
27:03executive of a state. He is a strong legal scholar.
27:08Some people would prefer, at times, to be immersed in the policy details.
27:15So, what do you think for himseal強ni card?
27:15He walks around there, and aracing business with the carrying of all over the Monday
27:15and 예. Thank you. the challenges of legalities other people kind of float above it
27:20i don't think trump is sitting down pouring through supreme court justices like opinions saying
27:26what can you believe this footnote is this dicta or is this the official opinion
27:31i know he was at the argument on wednesday i think he gets the big
27:34picture impact i don't think he goes into the nitty -gritty i think ron desantis
27:38a nitty -gritty guy i think ron desantis as a replacement for alito or if
27:44clarence thomas these guys are both 75 plus ish and buck we may lose the
27:51senate and nobody else wants to talk about the fact that if we lose the
27:55senate trump has no ability to appoint new supreme court justices and who knows when
28:01the republicans will have the senate and the presidency again i don't i i maybe
28:07i feel like i'm the only person like hitting this hitting this button and talking
28:11about it but we saw what happened with ruth bader ginsburg when you get to
28:15be 75 if you're having every now and then a little bit of a health
28:18condition it can turn in a hurry and next thing you know ruth bader ginsburg
28:21is getting replaced by amy coney barrett and that reverse could happen right clarence thomas
28:26could be replaced by the equivalent of katanji brown jackson if democrats have the ability
28:31to do this same thing with justice alito i think there needs to be a
28:36real discussion behind closed doors about health and whether in the summer it could make
28:42sense when this term ends in june to have a supreme court confirmation and i'll
28:48just toss that out there the timing would be perfect on a ron desantis on
28:53the supreme court have you heard anybody else ever make that suggestion or have i
28:56blown your mind with this idea no that's up there with uh linda from arizona
29:01talking about deploying ice if this were to happen i've never heard anyone talk about
29:05ron for the supreme court so that would be uh quite he's 45 46 years
29:10old so you got a long runway young right as judges would go uh i
29:15think it could make a ton of sense yeah interesting i i can see that
29:20more than ted ted cruz wants to be president you're you and i would be
29:24in agreement that ted cruz is going to run for president 2028 i mean period
29:29he'll start running in january of 27 yeah people are going to say oh but
29:33what about there's not the same feeling about this which we all very much heard
29:38when people ran including ron desantis against trump it was it's not their time it
29:42has to be trump it has to be trump i do there is not a
29:46unified voice of the republican party that i think is going to insist that there
29:51is only one going forward i haven't seen that maybe trump the only way that
29:56changes is if trump says everyone maga jd or marco but let's assume it's jd
30:03jd is my guy he is the you know trump would have to do that
30:08in a very clear very concern i don't know if he'll do that i think
30:14if he just kind of says you know i'm gonna let maga decide it's up
30:17to them uh you know let the republican base do what it does i think
30:22you're gonna have a lot of people run actually i think it'll be much more
30:25interesting there's only one trump right i mean it's a different thing no one else
30:29is trump i'm gonna give you a crazy take part two that no one else
30:34has said that i don't think anybody else has said i think there's a possibility
30:38that marco rubio would rather be commissioner of the nfl after his secretary of state
30:46run than vice president because i think he's doing a tremendous job as secretary of
30:52state we've talked about vp you know there's the talk of hey marco's gonna run
30:57with jd i don't know that marco rubio wants to be vice president i i
31:02think he might see it as a demotion relative to what he gets to do
31:06right now as secretary of state i think he might be done with government to
31:10marco rubio's credit he's never made any money um he's in his 50s and everybody
31:15out there used to talk about condoleezza rice wanting to be one day the nfl
31:20commissioner really roger goodell may oh you never heard that story oh yeah tons secretary
31:24of state condoleezza rice he was a top candidate in the public arena to be
31:29uh the commissioner of the nfl this i do know goodell makes like 40 or
31:34something million a year right i think there is an argument that the best job
31:38in america is commissioner of the nfl when you consider the amount of money they
31:42make the fact that you're selling something that everybody loves football i think marco rubio
31:47could be the uh when roger goodell steps down remember goodell's dad used to be
31:53a senator i mean he's of political um you know background in many ways i
31:59think marco rubio could be the next nfl commissioner and i think he would prefer
32:03that this is where people are going to say i'd rather be nfl commissioner than
32:06vice president that's me i think i would too i mean if you gave me
32:10the choice right now would you rather be vp and i say it only in
32:13the context of marco is getting to do the secretary of state job at an
32:19elite level vice president you're kind of just floating around there right especially vice president
32:25i think jd has found this to be a tough spot when the president is
32:28the sun the moon the stars you're sort of a secondary by far satellite there
32:33marco rubio as uh secretary of state and i'm sorry as next nfl commissioner and
32:40ronda santis is next supreme court justice if i hit both those buck i might
32:44have to retire because i don't know that that would be incredible more incredible predictions

33:49to clay and buck we've got uh let's go to talk backs here talk back
33:56see a lady from wisconsin who listens on 11 30 w is n radio hit
34:02it person who called in and complained about having a democrat candidate on to be
34:08as closed -minded as the democrats i respect the man's accepting the challenge to come
34:15on your show even if i don't respect his politics and i certainly wouldn't turn
34:20you off if you had him on thank you and we we felt the same
34:25we felt the same way about the way that at least he was willing to
34:27show up and answer questions so you know there you go look it's it was
34:32a it was a unique situation because we had on his competitor in that district
34:35and so to be fair under under the rules we got to have him on
34:39too we're not we're not usually going to have congressmen in a primary on but
34:43that happened or sorry congressman from a random election on but that happened i think
34:47it speaks to also again we mentioned this at the time but the growth of
34:52the program overall and the fact that even democrats now um you know if you
34:58watch fox news there are democrats who are saying john fetterman's on fox news more
35:03than he's on any other program i think at this point the audience is so
35:06big that if you want to talk to a lot of people you have to
35:10come on places like fox news in this program and the democrats that are willing
35:13to do it i think deserve some credit for stepping a little bit into the
35:16lion's den and i'll be honest with you i also think some of these other
35:20brands out there like cnn if anderson cooper wants to sit down at like the
35:24top of his show and interview me that i might do because that could be
35:28interesting but hey will you be on a three -person panel where you can shout
35:32at each other no because it's not worth it because i don't have people watching
35:36and i don't care so they don't have the value proposition that we do or
35:41that fox does of mass scale big audience amen tom in pennsylvania former f -14
35:49pilot uh you wanted to tell us the search going on for one of the
35:53pilots out there thanks for calling absolutely uh yeah about gathering intelligence by listening to
35:59the radio i was uh i was in a school what uh an lso school
36:04uh with an argentine navy pilot we well with two of them we trained them
36:09in our school as well and we were socializing after class one day and we
36:14talked we were talking about the faulklands war which was only six years prior to
36:18this uh this day and uh the one of the pilots was telling us that
36:23he was one of the two guys that launched on a mission to go attack
36:28the british fleet that was off of uh off of the uh off the coast
36:32it was a low overcast day they had some intelligence about where the fleet was
36:37but they weren't exactly sure they went out to a predetermined distance they popped up
36:42into the overcast they got a radar hit on the ship they each had an
36:46extra set missile i think they only had three in their inventory at the time
36:50oh man we'll have to talk to him more at the top of the next
36:55hour what a tease
