Trump Goes Mute On Sunday as War Cripples Us

0:01This is going to start the new life of the new life of my悩みに悩み抜いた家電選び And
0:09now, we're going to do it YAMADA NO HONKASA WAKUWAKU SUL DAI TOKKA ME UTSURI
0:19SUL SHINA ZORO E僕たち私たちは YAMADA NO HONKASA YAMADA NO HONKASA YAMADA NO HONKASA YAMADA NO
0:28HONKASA YAMADA NO HONKASA Donald Trump has gone mute on Sunday as his unlawful and
0:33catastrophic war in Iran rages on Engulfing the entire Middle East and the rest of
0:40the world Donald Trump is silent Donald Trump hasn't made any social media posts since
0:45yesterday He's golfing all day He's wandering around his Palm Beach golf club or he's
0:53in Mar -a -Lago He's taking photographs with people, making them clap for him He's
0:58taking so -called executive time He's doing a fundraiser for his pro -Trump super PAC
1:06called MAGA Inc. As the war has reached newer heights of catastrophic levels You have
1:14the leaders in Iran like Ali Larajani who runs their National Security Council He's their
1:20main advisor in their National Security Council He's making posts like this this morning as
1:27Donald Trump is silent and vacationing Larajani writes I've heard that the remaining members of
1:33Epstein's network have devised a conspiracy to create an incident similar to 9 -11 and
1:41blame Iran for it Iran fundamentally opposes such terrorist schemes and has no war with
1:49the American people That's what the Iranian propaganda looks like as Donald Trump is silent
1:55and in hiding And at Mar -a -Lago, which was the site that Epstein used
2:01in some instances to engage in child sex trafficking For example, Virginia Giuffre, an underage
2:08girl who was sex trafficked by Epstein, she was working at Mar -a -Lago, then
2:12Donald Trump's like, Epstein took my property, he took her from me.
2:17That's what happens when you have a morally compromised, literally and figuratively bankrupt individual in
2:24the Oval Office. This is the result when you have a criminal, a predator, and
2:29a lifelong loser in the Oval Office.
2:32Meanwhile, you look at what's happening in the Middle East, where they're basically saying, we
2:38can't rely on the United States ever again.
2:41Iran is more reliable than the United States.
2:44I mean, don't believe me.
2:45Just take a look at what the big buyers of oil from the Middle East
2:49are saying. So as Reuters reports, when Saudi Aramco told its oil buyers in a
2:56letter this week that it had no clear idea which port it would use for
3:01April exports, it laid bare a new reality.
3:04Iran, not the United States, holds the key to reopening the global energy market.
3:09The letter sent to Saudi oil buyers around the world said they might receive oil
3:16from the Red Sea, but they might still get it from the Gulf.
3:19Quote, I might as well call Iran to find out when this war ends so
3:24I can get my oil.
3:25One regular Saudi oil buyer said upon receiving the letter, as war raged across the
3:31Gulf and Iran shut down the Strait of Hormuz.
3:35And that's how a lot of people feel at this point, that Iran's the one
3:38dictating when this war ends, not Donald Trump ranting and raving like a lunatic and
3:44then taking his executive time weekends where he golfs and goes silent and then make
3:49social media posts that are utterly deranged and frankly are war crimes.
3:55Like when Donald Trump said, we have lots of fun bombing the Karg Islands, right?
4:00That's what Donald Trump called in or told NBC.
4:03We're having fun with this.
4:05I mean, what a horrific and despicable thing to say.
4:08Meanwhile, Iran continues to target the Arab nations with American interests overnight.
4:15had combined Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks against Bahrain, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates,
4:23of course, into Israel as well.
4:26Just take a look as well.
4:27You have the Lebanese -based Hezbollah firing into central Israel and northern Israel.
4:33They're getting bombarded more than ever.
4:35To be clear, the United States and Israel are hitting Iran very hard, hitting military
4:42installations, also hitting civilian installations as well.
4:47We've previously talked about hitting the elementary school, killing 150 little girls at desalination plants,
4:53and killing lots of civilians.
4:55But the U .S. and Israel are taking out a lot of military targets in
4:59Iran, but they've not been able to eliminate the ballistic missile arsenal and the Shahid
5:04drones by Iran, which cost about $20 ,000 to make, and Iran could mass -produce
5:11those very, very quickly. You take a look at what's happening throughout the world, as
5:15well as Donald Trump remains silent and I don't think even can possibly grasp the
5:21gravity of the hell he's unleashed around the world based on his not being prepared,
5:28just based upon his horrible decision -making and his maliciousness.
5:33Take a look at Aluminum Bahrain, runs the largest single -site smelter of the metal,
5:40started a phase production shutdown to conserve raw material supply.
5:45So now this is going to be impacting the aluminum market.
5:48It's impacting the fertilizer market.
5:50Of course, you know it's impacting the oil market right now, and the price per
5:55barrel of oil is surging.
5:57We expect this to be a catastrophic week for the markets.
6:01Donald Trump has sent our country and sent the world, essentially, into a Great Recession,
6:07if not a depression that seems to be where things are headed.
6:11And you go, Ben, you're being hyperbolic.
6:13Stop with the hyperbolic headlines.
6:15Well, don't you find it fascinating that the New York Times headlines are starting to
6:19look a lot like what the Midas Touch headlines have always been trying to warn
6:24everybody about? This is page one from the New York Times.
6:28War sends more tremors through a shaken world economy.
6:33Now, here's the subheadline. Fallout from prolonged conflict with Iran could bring catastrophic consequences.
6:43Catastrophic consequences. So let's take a look at, while Donald Trump is remaining mute and
6:49silent, he has sent his sycophants to go on the various TV networks, whether it's
6:55state regime media, which calls itself Fox or others.
6:58Let me show you what went down.
7:00You have Dave McCormick, a MAGA Republican senator from Pennsylvania, who says this has been
7:06a smashing success. Things have been incredible.
7:09If you told us on day one things would be this good, I would tell
7:13you no way things could be this good.
7:15This is what they're trying to sell the American people.
7:17Watch this MAGA Republican senator for yourself.
7:20Here, play this clip. That in that building, a number of American banks have offices
7:26there, and they are watching massive destruction from this in their offices.
7:32So American companies are getting impacted in the Middle East.
7:37Your reaction? Well, first, I think stepping back on day one of this operation, if
7:44you would imagine where we were, where we are on day 15, it's been a
7:48remarkable military focus and success in destroying missiles, drones, missile launchers, manufacturing capability, and really
7:55accomplishing the president's military objectives.
7:58We're not done yet, but we've made enormous progress on that, and the American people
8:03should take great pride in their military.
8:06It's been remarkable. Or how about Donald Trump's national economic advisor, Kevin Hassett, who says,
8:14Iran's not impacting our economy.
8:16They don't have the power to do this.
8:18How offensive for them to say that they think that they can negatively impact our
8:23economy. We're doing great. No, we're not, Hassett.
8:26We're not doing great. Things are bad.
8:28They're impacting our economy. Just say something truthful just for once.
8:33Here, play this clip. ...here, but the president is calling on other countries now.
8:37how to send ships to help protect the Strait of Hormuz.
8:41You just heard Iran's foreign minister saying Tehran has been approached by other countries about
8:46negotiating their way through the Strait.
8:48If that kind of negotiation happens, are Americans just gonna get cut out here?
8:53Well, first of all, you have to understand that America is not going to have
8:59its economy harmed by what the Iranians are doing.
9:03The bottom line is that in the 70s, we didn't produce much oil, but now
9:07we do. And so America's in a very strong position.
9:10They think that they're gonna harm the US economy and get President Trump to back
9:13down. There couldn't be anything that was a stupider thing to say because the bottom
9:18line is that our economy has got all this momentum in the world and we've
9:22got lots and lots of oil.
9:23We have lots of trading partners that are more on the hook from imported oil
9:27from these guys. And as we can see, it's completely unacceptable that a government that
9:33would murder 40 ,000 of their people just a few months ago would be blackmailing
9:37countries to let stuff through.
9:39President Trump thinks that is unacceptable.
9:41And for the global economy, we need to fix it and we're gonna fix it
9:44fast. Okay. What about Chris Wright, the Energy Secretary?
9:48He was on Meet the Press.
9:50And here's what he had to say.
9:52Play this clip. Very quickly, Mr.
9:53Secretary, there's a big debate over whether you all were prepared for what's happening in
9:57the Strait of Hormuz. If you were prepared, why is the Strait of Hormuz effectively
10:02closed right now? Because it's right near the Iranian shoreline.
10:10The world is abundantly supplied with oil and energy.
10:13We knew there would be a short -term disruption in energy flows.
10:17And to hear Chuck Schumer say that we didn't, it's just so he knows how
10:22foolish that is. And to say stuff to try to undermine the United States in
10:27the midst of a world -changing conflict just boggles my mind.
10:31But this mission was carefully planned out.
10:34It's been superbly executed. On the other side, we'll be in a much better place.
10:40The greatest driver of terrorism in the world, the greatest threat to global energy supplies
10:45will be defanged. Yes, we have disruption to get there, but - We're going to
10:49be in a much, much better place in the not too distant future.
10:53Mr. Secretary, let's talk about Russia.
10:55The Treasury Department temporarily lifting sanctions on Russia.
10:59And then you had Mike Walls, the United Nations ambassador from the United States.
11:05And he said, no one's seen such a dominant victory like this before.
11:09This is the most dominant victory in modern American military history.
11:14This is the thing with these people.
11:15They're so utterly delusional that when faced with such an obvious, such an obvious problem,
11:23right, that we all see right now, they're saying this is amazing.
11:26They're saying that this is great.
11:27This is the opposite of great.
11:29This is horrible. But anyway, just so you can say, I want to show you
11:33what they're saying. Here, play this clip.
11:34The U .S. military has decimated Iran's air force, their air defenses, their missile capability,
11:41their missile production capability. This has been a dominant victory, the likes of which we
11:48haven't seen in modern American military history.
11:51By the way, it's why it's so important right now that we get the right
11:55kind of media diet, that we understand where our news is coming from, and that
12:02we utilize reliable sources. It's why I use this feature.
12:06You know I use it.
12:07It's called Ground News, and they have this blind spot feature that shows you what's
12:12being reported on the right wing, what's being reported on the left.
12:15How is this so -called center reporting on things?
12:18Like, look at this article right here.
12:19Gulf Arab states intercept new missiles and drones as Iran threatens to widen the war.
12:27Iran widening the war, escalating the war.
12:30Things are getting worse, right?
12:31If you look right here, right -wing media is barely covering this at all.
12:37Why? Because they're hiding the reality from their MAGA cult base.
12:41They're hiding it from the people.
12:43And I think it's why you need to understand the accurate version of the events,
12:49not a different version of the events.
12:50You need to understand the truth.
12:52That's why I partner with Ground News for this episode and all my other episodes,
12:56because they're the best tool for me to stay objective with them.
13:00my reporting it's how i do my research ground news is an app and a
13:04website that pulls in thousands of articles from around the world and organizes them by
13:08story to show you how the left how the center and how the right are
13:12framing the story differently for every story the color -coded layout makes it easy to
13:17see the political bias of each source i can filter for high factuality sources and
13:23see which sources are independently owned or owned by a large media conglomerate with corporate
13:28interest this lets you compare reporting on the same issue in one place so you
13:32can come to your own conclusions based on all of the facts on the article
13:37i showed you for example you'll see that this is being covered on the right
13:41by a small group of right -wing media so if you're reading right -leaning news
13:48you're missing the story completely so that's why ground news even has a dedicated blind
13:53spot feed a personal favorite of mine which highlights stories being disproportionately covered in either
13:58side of the political aisle to help you burst through echo chambers because i believe
14:03in ground news so much we're offering you 40 off the same vantage plan that
14:08i used on my research for this video and that i use on my videos
14:12in general just go click the link in the description or go to ground dot
14:17news slash mtn or scan the qr code up here it's one of the biggest
14:22discounts they've ever offered if you want to support the channel and get a clearer
14:26understanding of the world try out ground news right now now i'll show you what
14:33the foreign minister of iran iraqi is saying this is iran's foreign minister and now
14:40he's also responding to that interview that donald trump previously gave with nbc where he
14:45we called in and donald trump said you know we may have to hit the
14:49karg islands a few more times just for fun even though we obliterate it we
14:54want to do it for fun and when donald trump says stuff like that it
14:58gives iranians a tool to use as well to say look they're out there saying
15:05this is fun saying it's fun to kill people as a war crime now watch
15:10what the iranian The foreign minister says here about the fact that, look, we've never
15:14asked for a ceasefire negotiation.
15:17If Donald Trump claims we want one, we don't.
15:19We're not looking for a ceasefire negotiation.
15:22He's out there saying it's fun to kill us.
15:24And the last time we negotiated, he launched a war against us.
15:28So why would we even speak with him right now?
15:30Here, play this clip. Trump said this weekend he is not ready to make a
15:35deal with Iran because the terms aren't good enough yet.
15:39His administration is saying this war could last another three and a half weeks or
15:44so. Has Iran asked for a ceasefire?
15:49No, we never asked for a ceasefire.
15:51And we have never asked even for negotiation.
15:55We are ready to defend ourselves as long as it takes.
15:59And this is what we have done so far.
16:02And we continue to do that until President Trump comes to the point that this
16:08is an illegal war with no victory.
16:15And, you know, there are, you know, people being killed only because President Trump wants
16:28to have fun. This is what he has said.
16:30Have fun? Yes, this is what he said, that they are sinking, you know, ships
16:37and targeting different places because it is fun.
16:42And the Secretary of War has said that there is no mercy.
16:53And this is actually a war crime.
16:55Even even saying that is a war crime.
16:58So this is a war.
16:59This is a war of choice by President Trump and the United States.
17:04And we are going to continue our self -defense.
17:08Well, more from the Iranian foreign minister right here, Aragji.
17:14I want you to see what he has to say here as well.
17:17Let's play this clip. This is a war of survival for your government.
17:22Minister, don't you have to negotiate and reach out, either directly or through a third
17:26party? No, it's not a war of survival.
17:30We are, you know, stable and strong enough.
17:33We are only defending our people from, you know, this act of aggression.
17:41And we don't see any reason why we should talk with Americans, because we were
17:49talking with them when they decided to attack us.
17:52And that was for the second time.
17:54There is no good experience talking with Americans.
17:58We were talking. So why they decided to attack us?
18:01So what is good if we go back to talk once again?
18:06And more from Foreign Minister Aragchi right here, where he basically, you know, admits that
18:12France and Italy and lots of other countries are now directly negotiating with Iran.
18:17Here's what he has to say.
18:19The Financial Times is reporting that European diplomats from France and Italy are talking to
18:24your government about trying to get safe passage for their ships.
18:28Are you open to restarting oil and gas vessels going through there?
18:35Well, we are open to countries who want to talk to us about the safe
18:39passage of their vessels. You are negotiating with France and Italy?
18:45Well, I cannot mention any country in particular, but we have been approached by a
18:51number of countries who want to have a safe passage for their vessels.
18:55And this is up to our military to decide.
18:58And they have already decided to let, you know, a group of, you know, vessels
19:05belongs to different countries to pass in a safe and secure.
19:09So we provide them security to pass because we have not closed this strait.
19:14They are not coming themselves because of the insecurity, which is there because of the
19:18aggression by the U .S.
19:19Now, in contrast, President Zelensky of Ukraine is trying to help the United States.
19:25He's trying to give the United States interceptor technology for the drones that the U
19:30.S. doesn't have that was created in you.
19:33Ukraine, because Ukraine had to adapt to the Iranian -based Shahid drones that were being
19:38given to the Russians. So here you'll see President Zelensky, you know, one talking about,
19:44this is in response to a question, you know, Donald Trump continues to attack you.
19:48He calls you P .T.
19:49Barnum. He mocks you. He says that Putin is better to negotiate with you.
19:54So what do you make of this, President Zelensky, that Donald Trump continues to go
19:59after you like this? Watch what Zelensky says right here.
20:03Play this clip. You worry, though, that you still have not been able to persuade
20:09President Trump, it seems to me, because he tweeted out saying, if America does not
20:16have enough weapons, it's because Joe Biden gave them all to Zelensky and he compared
20:22you to P .T. Barnum.
20:24It does seem that President Trump still has some anger or resentment toward Ukraine, and
20:33even toward you personally. I don't know, Farid.
20:37To be honest, I'm looking just to the facts.
20:41So what Middle East countries and American bases, what they need now, just to be
20:47in more strong security. So they need interceptors.
20:53It's drones. It's drones. It's new technologies.
20:56It's our technologies. So President Biden, we are thankful to America and bipartisan support and
21:03to President Trump. But we never got drones interceptors from the United States.
21:08So we never asked. It's just new technologies.
21:12But we've got Patriot missiles.
21:15And we are thankful to America that we could get some missiles.
21:18But also, at the same moment, I want to underline that Middle East partners had
21:26more missiles for Patriots than we've got from the United States and Europeans during all
21:32the war. They used more missiles.
21:35They used more than 800 Patriot missiles during first attack, during first 24, 36 hours.
21:43So more more than we had during all the months.
21:46But when we speak how to close the sky, I mean, we gave what we
21:51had and what our American friends, they don't have, or European friends, they don't have,
21:57I mean, such a big system of these experts.
22:00They have more other things, very strong things, but not these.
22:05And Middle East, Andres, asked us exactly about - Finally, another development I want everybody
22:10to be focused on right now is what's going on in the Red Sea.
22:14And the Strait over there in the Red Sea as well.
22:20Because in the Persian Gulf, you have the Strait of Hormuz, right?
22:25That was where a lot of the oil was sent through the Strait of Hormuz.
22:29But we're not talking about the Red Sea.
22:32That's an alternative path for some of this oil to be shipped through, especially Saudi
22:36oil. Well, one of the tools that Iran has is to further activate the Houthis
22:42in Yemen. And if they close the Bab -el -Mandab Strait completely to support Iran,
22:50and you have both areas closed, the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea closed, both
22:56straits, the Bab -el -Mandab Strait, and the Strait of Hormuz, that's a big problem.
23:02And that will further cause, I think, oil to clearly go above $200 per barrel,
23:08maybe even $300 per barrel.
23:10That's where things seem to be headed, unfortunately, as Donald Trump continues to make bad
23:17move after bad move, and then just go silent over the weekend.
23:21Anyway, tell me what you think about this all.
