1:04Welcome in. Hour number two.

1:07It's the day after a state of the union that was spectacularly well received.

1:14As President Trump made the case that his policies have drastically improved life in America

1:23for many. And he ran through all of those arguments.

1:28I just come back to you again, Buck.

1:30He ran on EBC, Economy, Border, Crime.

1:34After one year, the economy is very strong.

1:39Growth rate in the third quarter, 4 .4%.

1:42Inflation down to 2 .4%.

1:45Mortgage rates just hit a four -year low.

1:48For those of you out there in the housing market looking for 15 or 30

1:52years, you are now getting lower rates than at any time since 2022 before the

1:59Biden inflation took over. You've got record high stock prices at the S &P 500,

2:04the Dow Jones, effectively. You have, as we talked about, and I think it's such

2:09a huge deal, the safest country from a murder perspective that any of us have

2:15ever lived in. You have basically everything going really, really great.

2:22And by the way, 800 -282 -2882 if you want to weigh in.

2:26But I want to, you mentioned Buck, and I think you're right, and it seems

2:31to be the part that is echoing very strongly today.

2:36The U .S. men and Trump basically calling Democrats crazy for refusing to stand when

2:42he asked them, hey, do you think you should try to improve the lives, I'm

2:47paraphrasing, of citizens more than illegals?

2:50And one of the angles that is being used to attack Trump and by proxy

2:56the U .S. men for visiting with Trump, who had won the gold medal for

3:03the first time in 46 years, I mean, these U .S.

3:06men are being attacked mercilessly by many in left -wing media.

3:11And I thought that we should maybe dive into this.

3:16I think, do we have, Producer Greg, this clip ready now?

3:19Okay, so if you're out there and you're wondering, okay, why are they getting attacked?

3:24Yes, they're getting attacked because they went to the White House, because they're unapologetically pro

3:30-America. All those things are true.

3:31But if you push back on that and you point out what is indisputably true,

3:36which is people have always visited the president, president, Democrat, Republican, has always congratulated gold

3:43medal winners and had them visit the White House, what they circle back to, Buck,

3:47is Trump insulted the U .S.

3:50women's hockey team. And this is a Laura Travis special, Buck.

3:54This is a Laura Travis special, because she's fired up about this, because she said,

3:58I'm seeing this all over my social media feeds.

4:02I don't know if you saw this story.

4:03A Canadian hockey player shared a photo of him with his daughter at Disney World.

4:11He is a Canadian NHL hockey player.

4:14He was not on Team Canada.

4:15He was not on Team USA.

4:17And he was attacked mercilessly on social media because people said, how dare you laugh

4:24at a joke about women's hockey players and then have a photo posted of you

4:31with your two -year -old daughter at Disney World talking about how you're a girl

4:36dad. This is real. I don't know if you saw this story.

4:38I mean, they're insane, but how do they know he laughed at the joke?

4:41He wasn't even there. That's my point.

4:44They're just attacking. They don't even know.

4:45They're just attacking every hockey player right now because they're saying, oh, he's a misogynist.

4:52He laughed at a joke.

4:53And so I wanted to play the joke because it's much less significant.

4:57But this reminds me of the very fine people hoax.

5:01When they spent years telling you that Trump loves Nazis.

5:05He said they were very fine people.

5:07And he didn't. But they so embedded the idea that what he had done was

5:13say that Nazis were very fine people.

5:15And white supremacist. And in fact, he had done the opposite.

5:18He had actually condemned them.

5:19So usually when you go and deconstruct a joke, this is what losers do.

5:25Because you either laugh or you don't laugh at a joke.

5:29And you don't go back and then say, oh, I'm so sorry.

5:32I didn't think about the larger context of the joke and how it was going

5:36to impact the indigenous people whose land we stole.

5:39And I feel, oh, so please forgive me.

5:42This is what they're saying.

5:43They're saying they want the U .S.

5:44men to apologize for laughing at a joke.

5:46So here is the joke.

5:48I want you to listen to it.

5:49And then I'm going to do an actual deconstruction of the joke and show you

5:53how dishonest the coverage of this has been.

5:56So, Producer Greg, this was in the locker room.

5:58Cash Patel is holding up his phone.

6:00President Trump is congratulating the team.

6:02Listen. We'll get the cash and we'll get the military to get you guys over.

6:07Thank you, Mr. President. What would really be cool, and we'll do the White House

6:11the next thing, we'll just have some fun.

6:12We have medals for you guys.

6:13And we have to, I must tell you, we're going to have to bring the

6:17woman's team. You do know that.

6:18That's right. I do believe I probably would be impeached, okay?

6:28Okay, so he's making a joke, but I want to deconstruct this.

6:30And by the way, if you couldn't hear it, that men in the background are

6:34actually cheering and saying two for two, meaning they both won gold medals.

6:39But when he says that, he says, otherwise I'll be impeached.

6:43The joke is at the expense of Democrats and anti -Trump deranged people who would

6:51attack him if he had just invited the men and not the women.

6:55They would say, oh, you're super sexist.

6:58Oh, you're misogynistic. So the joke is actually at the expense of his critics.

7:03Second part of this, Buck.

7:04Look, the women who are outraged by this, and it's everywhere on social media, the

7:10crazy cat lady battalion is fired up because they're so outraged that people laughed at

7:16that joke, which was actually at their expense, and they're not smart enough to see

7:20it, or they didn't actually listen to the joke themselves.

7:23Here's the second part of this, Buck.

7:25If Trump had delivered the most perfect invitation to the White House that has ever

7:31occurred to the U .S.

7:33women's gold medal hockey winning team, the same women who claim that they are offended

7:38by that joke that we just played would actually immediately demand that the U .S.

7:45women's gold medal hockey team not go to the White House because to go would

7:51be offensive to their politics, and therefore the women can't go.

7:55So what you have here is an entirely manufactured story which has caught fire on

8:01the left that is not rooted in the joke itself, and you also have primarily

8:06women complaining about the way an invitation was conveyed when they would never want the

8:14invitation to be accepted in the first place.

8:16And, Buck, I want to play this.

8:18This is MSNBC. If you're out there, maybe you're like me.

8:21Maybe you voted Democrat in the past, and there's a ton of you out there

8:24listening. Maybe you weren't like Buck, and at nine years old you weren't reading William

8:28F. Buckley and convinced of...

8:31Little bow tie. Yes. Drinking Earl Grey tea, thinking about the future.

8:37Maybe you weren't like Buck.

8:38Maybe you're a little bit more like me.

8:39And if you're looking around at the society, you think to yourself, I haven't really

8:44changed that much, and the world, as President Trump said, has just gone crazy around

8:50you. This is 2012. This is 2012 on MSNBC.

8:57A hockey player chose not to visit Barack Obama's White House.

9:03And this was how they covered it on MSNBC.

9:08This was left -wing orthodoxy just a few short years ago.

9:15Thanks, but no thanks, to a White House invitation.

9:18What do we make of that?

9:20Tim Thomas said, I exercise my right as a free citizen and did not visit

9:25the White House. This is not about politics or party, as in my opinion both

9:28parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country.

9:31I mean, I think this is kind of the hyper -partisanship that just irritates everybody.

9:36It's like, just go to the White House.

9:38You don't have to run an ad or cut a commercial or anything.

9:41Just go to the White House.

9:42Take part. Celebrate. Just like everybody else celebrates with Republicans or Democratic presidents.

9:47Especially when you're getting honored.

9:49Obama made specific mention of him during his six -minute address.

9:54Buck, not going to the White House was actually the insult.

9:59Now, this is my position writ large.

10:01So, if you want to clip this in 20 years and I've got a different

10:04opinion, you can play it.

10:05For 20 years, I've been saying, if you're on a sports team and you get

10:09invited to the White House, I think you should go.

10:12I don't see it as an endorsement of the president.

10:14I see it as a celebration of you and your teammates' accomplishments.

10:19Everybody in America, basically, had that opinion, Democrats, Republicans, independents, until a few short years

10:26ago. And this is why this is important.

10:29The U .S. men haven't said a single thing about politics.

10:32They haven't told us what they think about any issue under the political sun.

10:36And during this entire attack that has been going on on them, it's entirely based

10:42on the fact that they are patriotic, that they respect the office of the presidency,

10:47and that they are willing to celebrate the accomplishments of the...

10:53country which they think is the best in the history of the world isn't this

10:56kind of it's important to understand that their very patriotism is being used against them

11:02by the left because the left i really do believe this is important to slam

11:07home hates the country and the country's history and they are using these u .s

11:12men who are super popular as a way to attack all of this and i

11:17think it's important to put it into context just how illegitimate and unfair all of

11:21this has been i also think that it highlights clay uh when you have uh

11:26spam spamburger i know it's spamburger but i think spamburger is more more apropos uh

11:33when you have her isn't it interesting also you have slotkin and spanger spamburger both

11:37former government analysts like yours truly so what i tell you guys there are a

11:42lot of commies in in the government uh that's that's for sure um you know

11:48doing the civil servant thing but when she's the one giving the uh response which

11:53i watched some of it i honestly at some point turned it off but when

11:57you're watching this thing democrats to attain power have to pretend that the soul and

12:05the uh and the plan of their party is something other than that which it

12:09is the problem republicans run into is when they're in power they can't get everything

12:15done that they want to get done and sometimes that's because of some republicans standing

12:19in the way but it's not oh we're doing something totally different than what we

12:23sold you on joe biden ran as a calm unifier and then said get the

12:30shot with your vaccine passport or you can't go to work and you can't go

12:34to school and you can't do anything okay these people run on a mountain of

12:42lies to get power and then they just ran through as much crazy left -wing

12:47nonsense as they can as fast as they can and hope that through propaganda and

12:52through manufactured delusions they might be able to fool people or rather it will fool

12:59people but also make people forget what they've done in the past the the democrats

13:03last night clay well rashida tlaib had a uh you know a prof profanity you

13:09know like sounds a bit like my name and then ice uh on her button

13:16and you're like what what you're a member of congress at a state of the

13:20union address you're not part of the marxist student alliance at uh at cuny at

13:27city university of new york or something like what are you doing but this is

13:30who they are they're malcontents and the ones at the top the ones that are

13:34like the more sort of elevated than the street communist types like nancy pelosi they're

13:40so corrupt and so uh venal and so self -dealing and just soulless this is

13:48who they are amen and i do think that for people who watched last night

13:57with persuadable minds and i understand a lot of people it doesn't matter what happens

14:02as i said trump could have come out and said he secured cancer and brought

14:05everybody's grandma and grandpa back to life and there'd be people who are angry at

14:08him but for the people who are persuadable the data reflects that there is still

14:13a substantial majority of americans that believes in the country's history and greatness and that

14:20this is the best country in the history of the world and that is the

14:25reality under which the democrats are opposed and i i think that's significant um and

19:22okay i'm out of here and oh by the way you only ordered two of

19:27bucks books and you have that pile of crap there what's the matter with you

19:30the guy looked at me and he started laughing and and so i left and

19:33i went to barnes and noble i walk in there and i asked for the

19:38book and they said oh we're all sold out i said well how many did

19:42you order and they said we ordered three it's true well this is i think

19:48they call we should dive in waiting for their next order thank you please go

21:06the the book situation here oh yeah i tease that i think this is important

21:10i appreciate him calling you might think oh uh what is the impact of distribution

21:17in bookstores it's huge they don't put by and large conservative books in the front

21:26of bookstores they intentionally under buy them so i mean what do the guys say

21:31they were two copies of your book and there were three copies of your book

21:34in huge bookstores with a brand new release that's been the case with every one

21:40of my books too they which is why amazon is actually where most of them

21:45get sold they said that 90 percent of conservative books are sold is the number

21:50that i've heard on amazon because you can go right to and it gets shipped

21:54to your home and that's great but it means that only people who know you

21:59exist get exposed to your ideas right they don't put john meets him in the

22:04front and you walk in and you're just shopping and you think to yourself oh

22:08who is this guy what's the arguments that he or she is making we don't

22:13get any of those opportunities in the cultural landscape they bury the book in new

22:18releases they've got two copies or three copies they sell them out immediately and then

22:23this guy's going in because he's a you know a book buyer and he expects

22:26for the book to be widely distributed and it's just not it's not an even

22:31playing field in that respect if any of you see a copy of manufacturing delusion

22:36if you happen to be going through an airport this week and you see it

22:38on display please take a photo and tag me and let me know in any

22:42of those because that's another big thing uh is is the airport book buy situation

22:48but but i'm wondering if if any of those uh stores that carry those books

22:53whatever they're called uh the stores if they have manufacturing delusion if they're trying to

22:57sell it because yeah to your point clay you don't get the benefit of i

23:01mean you imagine if i walked into a barnes and noble and there was a

23:04big display of my book maybe a dashing photo of me with windswept hair and

23:09manufacturing delusion in both hands you know just like letting it go no that's not

23:14what happens they they and to be clear it's not about money they'd be making

23:19more money they don't want to make more money they don't like us that's what

23:24it comes down to don't like us don't want to help and uh unfortunately there

23:29are some of these industries still where the grip uh the political grip on the

23:35throat of the business is very strong advertising still overall and ad buyers libs lib

23:43dominated totally lib dominated uh and and publishing now there are conservative imprints at big

23:50publishing houses obviously one of them printed me i'm not saying that it's entirely but

23:54in terms of the distribution side of it like who's buying the books for the

24:00stores to put out totally lib dominated and it's just you know i i just

24:06wish we could do something about this i can't say have elon buy barnes and

24:10noble but maybe he could probably get us he could probably get it for a

24:13song it just matters a tremendous amount in the marketplace of ideas you can mention

24:17bookstores and that's the perfect example because people theoretically going into bookstores are going there

24:22to buy books and one of the fun things about going to a bookstore is

24:26the serendipity of finding a book that you did not anticipate or know existed and

24:32you think oh this would be a great read book browsing is still a big

24:36deal here's the other one that i think is even more significant buck airports well

24:40that's what i was just saying i want to see books in the airports this

24:43is the last time you saw a conservative book walking through the terminals at a

24:48display where you would see it when you're in an airport how many people buy

24:51books in airports huge percentages they don't exist they do not exist in that way

24:57so the callers right i mean this is a uh this is a significant issue

25:02and we've got a bunch of uh callers by the way yes we we have

25:06a bunch of callers as we will get to know um andrew in kentucky you're

25:10up what's going on fuck uh love your show um just wanted to call and

25:16mention my favorite moment from the state of the union last night uh it was

25:20when trump was talking about the uh save act and he was talking about the

25:25hypocrisy of the left and mentioning the communist mayor of uh new york mondami and

25:32talking about how he was asking for uh snow shovelers but those snow shovelers needed

25:37to bring in two forms of id and a social security card yeah it's i

25:43mean look we hope everybody in uh wor land is doing well out there and

25:47certainly on long island where they got over two feet of snow and if you're

25:52listening to us in rhode island i think they got three feet of snow and

25:56by the way mentioning mom donnie did you see the videos that have gone viral

25:59the snow of the cops or the snow getting i i think it is absolutely

26:04despicable i don't think it's funny um i wish that those cops could have caught

26:09a few of those guys with a nice uh truncheon to uh you know the

26:13side of the knee um i i think it's it's horrible because i know people

26:17look oh it's a snowball fight actually first of all if you don't want to

26:20be in a snowball fight you're getting hit from multiple sides it's just assault it's

26:24actually assault and battery um and you know there some of these guys are throwing

26:28things that are basically ice so you're throwing like a handful of ice at a

26:31cop from close range and there's so many people that they can't do it you

26:35know they're not able to do anything about it i thought it was grotesquely disrespectful

26:38i hope people get arrested for it they won't get prosecuted in any meaningful way

26:42because it's brag but it just goes to show you how disrespectful the um some

26:48of the unfortunately some of the residents of new york city and just you know

26:51these are all leftists the people that are saying it's not a big deal they're

26:54all leftists they hate cops because cops force the reality of accountability on people and

26:59the whole game of the left is no one's ever accountable it's always you're always

27:02a victim it's always someone else's fault also i just can't even imagine if you

27:07are the kind of person who's going to run up and some of these were

27:10they've got some photos out of people they're trying to arrest some people were running

27:14up with basically boulder you you you you Thank you.

27:16of ice to throw at cops smacking on the cops yeah it was really really

27:20nasty i mean they clearly were taking advantage of the situation um and look these

27:25people deserve a good swift punch in the face you know uh i don't know

27:29what else to say i mean they they deserve to get an ass kicking and

27:32also to your point what do you think the odds are that people who have

27:36been completely law -abiding their entire life decide to attack police officers with snowballs i

27:41would bet those people have records that are a mile long likely because it's such

27:46a moronic thing to even think to do for most people look and the cops

27:50have a a tough job day in and day out they do all over the

27:54country and you know it's often a thankless job not always you know they do

27:59sometimes perform the uh heimlich on a baby and save a life i mean you

28:04know there's there's obviously thanks with it too and you know i think a lot

28:07of communities i said here in miami beach we're very supportive of of our cops

28:11and you know there's a very safe community cops are very well respected here which

28:15i i really like that and you know the nypd went through a post 9

28:1911 period where new yorkers i think were particularly uh prone to show gratitude toward

28:25the nypd that's of course faded though and when you when you see this kind

28:29of disorder where you have these people doing this to police officers like what what

28:34is the mindset of somebody who thinks that this is funny like that's someone's husband

28:38out there probably you know those cops probably married probably have some kids and you're

28:43all smacking them with ice in the face because they wear a uniform and they're

28:47trying to keep the streets safe and trying to keep bad things from happening to

28:50people what part of that is funny what part of that is amusing so you

28:55know that this but this is alvin bragg's a scumbag he's a bad person he's

28:59immoral he's a race hustler he clearly has a tremendous amount of animosity for certain

29:04people of certain backgrounds uh and he won't do anything about this guarantee you even

29:09if they're arrested he'll do the bare minimum and i think what you're going to

29:12see is jessica tish uh and you know i grew up knowing the tish family

29:16a little bit in new york and they're they're good people and they love the

29:19city i think you're going to see jesse tish say i'm out because because there's

29:24not the back if you don't have the if you don't have the district attorney

29:27and the mayor catching your back as the police commissioner and doing the right thing

29:32for law and order your your hands are tied doesn't matter this is one thing

29:37that eric adams got right the uh safety in new york city got far better

29:42during his tenure than it was before and i think the fact that he is

29:45a former cop it's not coincidental that that was the uh that was the outcome

29:50he got it i'm not saying he was perfect clearly he wasn't an ideal leader

29:55but you see the he had serious yeah he eric adams clay had serious managerial

30:01limitations like he just doesn't he's not a guy you want running a hundred billion

30:07dollar city budget operation and all the different he's just not up he wasn't up

30:12for that task he doesn't have the ability to experience you know he but he

30:16was in over his head but he doesn't hate cops and he doesn't actually think

30:20that like criminals are good people and that was an improvement over de blasio to

30:25be fair into what you're saying that was an improvement over de blasio uh you

30:29know mom donnie is much more of the de blasio mold and and we're going

30:33to see i think more and more of this and just wait until you have

30:36your first major incident with a cop in new york it will happen it's inevitable

30:40at some point and see which side of of the equation mom donnie falls on

30:44but you know the the statement i can guys pull the statement that mom donnie

30:49made about it it was very oh it's well here is we have it okay

31:13going to be banning snowball fights or organized snowball fights uh i've i've shared my

31:20my thoughts with new yorkers i mean what what if people just walk by cops

31:25and just just smacked eggs in their faces is that funny is that a joke

31:28it's against the law mom donnie is also unfortunately and by the way trump is

31:34too nice about him he was too and i know this is sometimes trump is

31:37he's funny because they all say clay that trump is or trump's actually very nice

31:41as long as you don't try to you know go toe -to -toe with him

31:44he's very charming mom donnie's a bad guy he's a bad guy he's actually not

31:50a nice guy he's a bad guy he just smiles a lot and is uh

31:55you know smooth with people the yes i agree with all of that and he's

32:02falling rapidly on his face with a lot of the different um uh decisions that

32:09he's made and one of them you were talking about jessica tish is that new

32:14york city is basically deciding due to a budget crisis to not fund 5 000

32:20police officers that they had previously anticipated and expected to fund um that's going to

32:28eventually blow up on them there's no other way this is going to go and

32:33believing that you can be kind to criminals is a luxury of a low crime

32:38environment and inevitably it leads to more violence and i would just come back i

32:43mean I guarantee you if they arrest the people who were throwing snowballs at cops

32:50aggressively, they will discover that those guys have been arrested multiple times before.

32:55Because I just don't buy it.

32:56We're not talking about like a fun...

32:58If the cops are actually engaged in the snowball fight too, that's a snowball fight.

33:03Running up to somebody and pelting them constantly with snowballs because they're wearing uniforms is

33:09not a snowball fight. To your point, if it were eggs, it would be an

33:12assault. These guys should be charged.

33:15And I think when they're charged, you will find out that they've been charged with

33:18multiple offenses before. Right. I mean, I could walk up to someone and say I'm

33:23patting them on the back and whack them as hard as I can and do

33:28real damage and be like, I was just patting you on the back.

33:31I mean, right. We all know these games.

33:33We all know that. And this is, of course, a classic leftist thing.

33:37But what Mamdani said there is disgusting.

33:39What I saw was a snowball fight.

33:41You sniveling little coward. Someone, I don't want to go...

33:45He's just the worst, man.

33:46He's just the worst. And it's a disgrace, a disgrace that New York has this

33:51guy calling the shots. No doubt.

33:53If you visit Israel and its people, you will be impressed on the visit.

33:59I was there about a year ago to see the work being done by the

34:02International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.

34:04It also provided me an opportunity to see the firsthand evidence of the attacks of

34:09October 7th, that what Hamas did to innocent Israelis because they were Jewish.

34:15I'm going to go to Israel again.

34:17I was talking about this with my family recently.

34:19I want to take them.

34:20I want them to be able to see the old city of Jerusalem.

34:22By the way, I'd like to go to Egypt.

34:24I'd like to travel all over ancient civilizations, areas that I haven't been to before.

34:30As a nation, the United States cares a great deal about Israel.

34:38Middle East and the only country where true freedom in the Middle East exists, regardless

34:43of what religion you are.

36:35A lot of people reacting to the State of the Union.

36:38We'll dive back into our takes on the State of the Union, which occurred last

36:42night at the top of the third hour of the program.

36:46But I'm going to go basically just in order that I see the calls off

36:56Yes, thanks for taking my call.

36:58Really appreciate it. I thought the president did an amazing job last night.

37:03He touched on so many topics.

37:04He recognized people that should be recognized.

37:07He's a true American hero.

37:10For me, personally, it's so disappointing to watch the other side.

37:16They have no solutions. They appear to be full of hate.

37:20And what would I tell my granddaughter or grandson that you have a congressperson with

37:31a badge that says, you all know what it said.

37:34Yeah. And I just don't understand how come they just seem to be full of

37:40hate and offer no solutions.

37:41And all Trump wants to do is make America great.

37:44It's really a simple message.

37:45And I'm not saying he's a perfect person by any stretch, but I'm saying he's

37:50a perfect president. He's doing a lot of things that make life better.

37:54And I'll add one other thing, because they all want to talk about affordability.

37:59Trump getting ready to come into office.

38:01My wife and I buy these eggs at Walmart.

38:04They're around $29 for five dozen.

38:07I bought the same case last week.

38:11dollars and some change um yeah appropriate actions that's all i can say thank you

38:18for the call remember buck when trump first came into office egg prices became a

38:22big story and everybody was talking about how much president clay for like three days

38:26and you're like oh look at the egg prices trump you've been 72 hours president

38:31and now egg prices are back to normal much cheaper and it's not a story

38:36at all that's a good example better enemies do we need better enemies are we

38:40gonna get lazy like they got lazy because they had so much control and they'd

38:43seize so much through their perfidious ways uh what a great word that is my

38:48concern is they're gonna take back the house if you ask me to predict right

38:52now and so i know uh and so they're gonna seize back a lot of

38:56power we'll get to some of your calls and we come back here in a

39:05fast i saw her screeching last night so i called comber's office this morning and

39:10said what's going on with the investigation and i was told that the ethics committee

39:14is handling the investigation i called them twice and was told there is no information

39:28ilan omar and rashida talib buck i think looked worse than any other democrats which

39:34is saying a lot during the course of the state of the union last night

39:38we'll talk about that we'll talk about the ilan omar investigation i think there are

39:41a lot of republicans who worry that there are a lot of prosecutors in the
