3:32It is getting even worse, folks.

3:34Donald Trump utilizing a combination of faking that all these nations are with us now

3:42and helping us in the Strait of Hormuz and that we've put together a coalition

3:47of the willing who will be securing the Strait from Iran.

3:51And then Donald Trump doing a begging, please, we need you.

3:56We need your help to Donald Trump saying, we don't need you.

4:00We're too strong anyway. Stay out.

4:02We're testing you and you failed the test.

4:05So that's what's happening in Iran while the Iranian regime is out there just mocking

4:11Donald Trump and saying, can you believe this level of desperation?

4:16It's pathetic. They're lying about everything.

4:20I've never could have fathomed the United States would look this week.

4:25And we now see the public statements from all of these world leaders, whether it's

4:30Germany, whether it's France, whether it's Italy, whether it's Japan, you name it, whether it's

4:37Prime Minister Keir Starmer in the UK, they're all basically saying, well, Canada, we didn't

4:43start this war. Okay. We weren't consulted about this.

4:47You're on your own. We're going to do what we need to do defensively here

4:52because we recognize we're still existing within an international construct, but good luck.

4:58You're on your own when it comes to the Strait of Hormuz.

5:01We wish you well. And Donald Trump can't tweet his way out of this.

5:06In fact, in Iran, they're saying that they're saying your tweets aren't going to work.

5:11There's no social media post that's going to stop us.

5:15You are stuck, and we are going to make sure that this is very painful

5:21for you. And then Donald Trump was giving statements at multiple press conferences today saying,

5:26I never expected that Iran was going to go after the other Arab nations.

5:32Nobody expected this. Actually, lots of people expected it.

5:35You know who expected it?

5:36The Arab nations who warned you about specifically that and said, don't go this alone.

5:42Don't rush into this. Do diplomacy, and Donald Trump ignored it.

5:46So what's Donald Trump doing next?

5:54Donald Trump's been now spending the latter part of this afternoon talking about how Cuba

5:58is his. Cuba is mine.

7:53For the past year plus, Donald Trump has been giving an FU to all of

7:57our allies. He's been treating himself like he is the king of the world.

8:00And he's been basically saying, I don't need any of you.

8:03And in recent days, even saying that quite directly, we don't need you.

8:07We won the war. All good.

8:09Game over. That's it. And then we see just a few days later now, Donald

8:13Trump begging. One might say begging like a dog, begging like a dog for these

8:19countries to help and just making things up like, oh yeah, they're going to help.

8:22They're going to come in.

8:22This country is going to come.

8:23Putting those countries in danger, causing those countries to then release statements going, we ain't

8:28doing shit. We're not helping you out.

8:30You are not the king of the world.

8:32In a way, those countries teaching Donald Trump a lesson saying, see, as we told

8:37you, you need us, Donald Trump.

8:40You cannot do this alone.

8:42This is a global effort.

8:43And this post -World War II alliance that we have built, we have done for

8:48a reason. And you have ruined it all.

8:50So good luck. You are on your own.

8:53And you can't help but think that Donald Trump has promised the golden age of

8:58America. But in fact, he has brought on the age of American humiliation.

9:02And we are witnessing that sadly, every single day, right here alongside Jordy, you know,

9:08we're recording this, you know, you got, you got to be, uh, you know, a

9:11little gorilla style when you're on the road, you know, you got to be, you

9:38Donald Trump is spiraling. He is spiraling and he is panicking there.

9:42There's no other way to put this.

9:44He's rambling like a madman right now and American troops and the American wallet, they're

9:51paying the price. There's no way to sugarcoat it.

9:54What's happening right now is an absolute disaster.

9:58And there's no accountability from any quote unquote leadership of this government right now.

10:02No, if anything, they're trying to figure out who to blame, who can I point

10:06the finger at? Well, unfortunately for Donald Trump, there is no one to blame except

10:12Donald Trump and his regime right now.

10:14And the American people are wising up to that and they are rising up against

10:18Donald Trump in this regime.

10:19And I'm excited to see how this continues to develop.

10:22And I just hope it develops more positively here for the American people.

10:26And I'm excited to continue to call Donald Trump in this bullshit regime out every

10:30step of the way. Benji, where are we starting off today?

10:33You start off cursing because we're in Austin and that's what you do right in

10:36that intro, Jordy. Start with throwing some - I curse?

10:38I didn't curse. Okay. I mean, we'll go back and we'll rewind a little bit.

10:42What was my curse? Bullshit.

10:44Now you're cursing. All right.

10:46Well, let's get into right away.

10:48Been in Texas. Let's get into right away.

10:50Look, Donald Trump and his regime are, they're lying about everything.

10:55And, you know, when they start lying about, you know, things domestically and then utilize

11:01their regime propaganda here in the United States, you know, maybe that works here in

11:06the United States, you know, to kind of have this pun.

11:10Like, you know, lies built on lies, you know, this is covering up for that,

11:14covering up the Epstein files by covering up this and that and the other thing.

11:17This ain't working on an international scale right now.

11:20And it just looks utterly pathetic.

11:22I mean, Donald Trump will say over the weekend, I have now assembled a massive

11:27coalition of countries and they have agreed to go into the Strait of Hormuz with

11:32the United States. We'll be rolling it out this week.

11:35And you have to be like, okay, well, who are these countries?

11:38That's a pretty big proclamation.

11:40Which ones are you talking about?

11:43I don't think other countries want to treat this like a cliffhanger for season two,

11:48right? This is life or death stuff.

11:50In Iran, they're mocking Donald Trump right now.

11:53And they have him, you know, basically on a street corner holding up a sign

11:57saying, help me open Hormuz.

11:59Because that's what it looks like to audiences outside of, you know, a group of

12:06people who get their news from regime propaganda here in the United States.

12:10And I'm not just talking about state regime media, which calls itself Fox.

12:14You have CBS, which in many ways is state regime media.

12:16Lots of local news here in the United States.

12:18So I'll tell a quick story, but I know you're getting into things.

12:21But I was in Ben's room earlier and I think like any local NBC news

12:25was on and they were reporting on the war.

12:27I said, Ben, listen to this reporter right now.

12:30And it was like, you know, they do it so quickly and they have their

12:34format of the local news.

12:35But it was like the craziest propaganda.

12:37It was like, you know, President Donald Trump, you know, with more precision strikes on

12:41Iranian targets as he continues to destroy Iran's infrastructure.

12:46Then they play like a clip of Donald Trump going like, we're beating the hell

12:49out of them. And then it goes, and a new trend, a new viral beauty

12:52trend is going live on TikTok.

12:54And like, that's how the news is presented to people.

12:57Like they are not getting the accurate information.

12:59By the way, I wish it were true that we actually had some sort of

13:02strategy in the war. I wish that Donald Trump was telling us the truth.

13:06I wish those things were actually true.

13:08But what we are witnessing right now is Donald Trump just trying to lie and

13:13spread his propaganda and gaslight the public.

13:16And in turn, it's not making us look strong.

13:19It's making the United States look weak because Iran knows the truth.

13:23All of our allies around the world know the truth.

13:26All of our adversaries around the world know the truth.

13:28So when Donald Trump says something, like he made this deranged truth social post last

13:32night that was like, the media is fake and they are lying about everything you're

13:37seeing. I think he said, has Donald Trump said, Iran, who has been known as

13:42the master of media manipulation and public relations.

13:46Nobody has ever called Iran the master of media manipulation and public relations.

13:50And Donald Trump goes, all those images you're seeing of ships that were hit by

13:55Iranian drones and buildings in Dubai that were struck and the United Arab, across the

14:00United Arab Emirates that are struck.

14:01We're showing them on the screen right now in Saudi Arabia, our embassies.

14:05All of that is just AI.

14:06It's fake. It's fake. The media knows it's fake.

14:09It's all AI. Don't believe it.

14:11Don't believe your eyes. It's AI.

14:13And the media who's reporting on this, they all need to be prosecuted and they

14:16all need to go to prison.

14:17That's deranged stuff. And, you know, it's not like we could not have predicted this.

14:22We saw, remember during the campaign when Donald Trump would say, Kamala Harris's crowd, those

14:27crowds are all AI. Those are all fake people.

14:29And the media should be ashamed and prosecuted for doing that.

14:32Well, now we are in a war.

14:35American troops are dying each and every day.

14:38And Donald Trump is pretending it's all fake.

14:40It's all made up. And Donald Trump is spreading his lies.

14:43But like I said, Iran knows the truth and all these other countries know the

14:46truth. So when you're lying like that, you're not projecting strength.

14:50You're projecting desperation. And it is just sad and it is pathetic.

14:54And everybody sees right through what he is doing.

14:59And the scary part, Brett, to your point earlier, the conversation that you and Ben

15:02had while watching the local cable television network or whatnot, is these cable networks are

15:06carrying water for the Trump regime.

15:08They are amplifying the propaganda that's coming out of the White House.

15:12Look, we need a strong fourth estate here in this country.

15:15Like, I don't just bash corporate media for the sake of bashing corporate media.

15:19No, absolutely not. But what's happening right now is we need honest reporting, people with

15:24integrity to stand up, play the clips, show the receipts, show the data, the propaganda

15:29coming out of the Trump regime, White House, along with what's being reported overall on

15:35cable networks right now. It would make Kim Jong -un blush, Ben.

15:38Right. Donald Trump keeps on making posts.

15:41Don't be a panicking or he'll like repost other people saying Donald Trump isn't panicking.

15:47I mean, just think about in past war.

15:50Famously, people who aren't panicking tell people constantly, don't panic.

15:53Don't panic. I'm not panicking.

15:55Like meme after meme of I'm not panicking.

15:58Other people saying Trump isn't panicking.

16:00And then he's like posting these like single spaced, all caps, 1600 words.

16:07heard social media posts like the Supreme Court of the United States has ransacked the

16:14entire country. They ransacked. It's a right -wing Supreme Court with a lot of the

16:19people there, people you appointed.

16:21The Supreme Court is an unjust political organization going after MAGA and the Republicans, or

16:27all of these judges are treating us unfairly.

16:30And then in addition to making up that there's a coalition of countries that are

16:34working with the United States in the straight of her moves, which is false.

16:38For those listening, we're just showing some of these graphics right now, just so you

16:41know that I'm not making this up.

16:43No panicans, peace through strength, no panicans.

16:46So in addition to making up fake coalitions in a war, right, this is war

16:50and peace, life and death, right?

16:53Trump's making up fake coalitions, which just think about how dangerous and deranged that is.

16:58Donald Trump is also lying and saying that they've opened up direct communications with Iran

17:04and that the Iranian foreign minister is speaking to Steve Whitcoff and that Iran really

17:09wants to make a deal right now, but the deal just isn't good enough for

17:14Donald Trump. So Trump's rejecting the deal terms that Iran is so desperate for a

17:19deal. And then Iran's out there posting like these people in the United States are

17:24entirely delusional. They're like, we're not having any discussions.

17:28We're not interested in a ceasefire until the United States recognizes the pain that they

17:35need to feel right now or recognizes that they're losing.

17:39We're not doing anything. He goes, the foreign minister of Iran, Aragchi goes, and when

17:44we say we don't want a ceasefire, it isn't because we seek war.

17:47This war must end in a way that ensures our enemies never again think of

17:51repeating these attacks. They have now seen what kind of nation they are dealing with,

17:55one that will defend itself and one that will take this fight as far as

18:00necessary. So the Trump regime leaks to like this Axios guy a lot, Barack Ravid,

18:05and he'll say direct communications channel between Iranian foreign minister Aragchi and U .S.

18:10envoy Steve Whitcoff has been reactivated in recent days, according to U .S.

18:15officials, and they source with knowledge, right?

18:17The source with knowledge is likely Whitcoff and Jared Kushner, who lie about everything in

18:22my, I mean, they do lie about everything in my opinion.

18:25And in my opinion, they're probably the source.

18:27And it's like, then Trump's like, Iran's reaching out to us.

18:30And ultimately, Iran knows they're not reaching out to you.

18:33So when you say something like that, Iran will think, wow, we've got them right

18:39where we want them. They're so scared that they have to make up to manipulate

18:44the oil markets right now.

18:46I was going to say, Ben, think about the timing of Trump's statements, right?

18:49Donald Trump made the comments about this, you know, newly formed kind of coalition of

18:53the willing who is going to protect the Strait of Hormuz, like what, what was

18:57it, 10 minutes before oil futures opened yesterday?

19:00Like this is his strategy.

19:02And if you notice, Donald Trump will announce bad things happen in his own way,

19:06obviously, after the markets close, and he will announce good things happen right before the

19:10markets close, because it's all a market manipulation game, manipulation game.

19:14And by the way, you could guarantee that there are a lot of people in

19:16the know that are making a ton, a ton of money.

19:19But Ben, I got to say, this is why your court reporting on the Trump

19:24trials was so important leading up to this, because it really broke down Trump's strategy

19:29and also shows how you need to, how to get the truth out of the

19:33situations that are happening. And I'm thinking back to the Trump case and to the

19:38Trump organization, where the judge was furious that Donald Trump kept making up things over

19:43and over and over again.

19:44So they had to appoint an independent monitor to go through the Trump organization financials.

19:51And that Trump, that independent monitor who was looking through the Trump organization financials kept

19:56seeing that they were being duplicitous to say the least.

19:58They were deceiving the public and deceiving the courts.

20:01Now transfer that over to the situation that we are currently in.

20:05And we are seeing that Donald Trump is lying about what is happening in these

20:09negotiations. Now, I want to say, of course, the Iranians also have their incentives and

20:14they also are spreading their propaganda.

20:17But Donald Trump is just outright lying here.

20:20And we also know, you know, you have to weigh whose propaganda is probably more

20:25in line with the truth versus the other.

20:27That's where the independent monitor comes in.

20:29And in this case, we had an independent monitor, as we've been saying on the

20:32show repeatedly. There was a monitor from Oman who was in the room with Donald

20:37Trump and with the Iranians.

20:39He went on television the day of the strikes that Donald Trump, the first strikes

20:45against Iran, and said that Iran had offered all these concessions that went even further

20:50than Barack Obama's Iran nuclear deal.

20:53He went on TV to say that to make sure the public knew that before

20:57Donald Trump tried to go out there and start this war and lie about it.

21:01So that independent monitor actually is the one who gave the American people the truth

21:06back then. And that is what these Iranian leaders right now kind of continue to

21:10reference because he's somebody the United States was cool with being in the room.

21:14And so we just see the lies right now.

21:17They're so incredibly obvious coming from Trump.

21:20And as I said, the lies just wreak of desperation.

21:23Right. And one of the things the Iranians keep on referencing is Donald Trump's connection

21:27with Jeffrey Epstein and the Epstein class.

21:30They repeat that over and over again.

21:32And I said that was going to be their strategy.

21:34because it's effective. And I'm not like saying it's effective, like yay, yay, go Iran.

21:40We need to understand what's happening, both the Iranian propaganda and the United States propaganda.

21:47And we need to figure out how the United States can get out of this

21:51unlawful war and how we try to make things less worse at this point, because

21:57what Donald Trump's doing is an absolute disaster.

22:00Donald Trump is a morally compromised individual his entire life, right?

22:05He is a sicko. And when Donald Trump is out there palling around with Jeffrey

22:10Epstein, and when his regime is covering up a child sex trafficking ring with their

22:15despicable DOJ, which Donald Trump has his photo plastered on as a billboard, when the

22:21entire world knows that one of the reasons Donald Trump rushed into this war, in

22:26addition to Netanyahu saying that he was going to attack first, which Netanyahu realized how

22:31vulnerable Donald Trump was here as a result of the Epstein files coming out and

22:36Donald Trump being named over and over again.

22:39Netanyahu knew the right time to kind of put the pressure on Donald Trump with

22:43everything coming out with Epstein.

22:44Then Donald Trump chased Netanyahu and Trump, you'd all say, hey, this could be a

22:48distraction from the, in my opinion, this could be a distraction from the Epstein files

22:52as well. Iran just repeats that over and over again and goes to their own

22:57people, which is like, hey, you want to be controlled by people who are covering

23:02up child sex trafficking. You want to be controlled by the Epstein class.

23:06You all saw these emails.

23:07These are the people who are running this war right now.

23:10It's Trump and his crew of Epstein class people.

23:13Now, by the way, that is an effective messaging.

23:17And this is why when people are surrounding, even not, even if like, even in

23:24other countries where the person may not even had the direct connection with Epstein, if

23:29they were responsible for bringing somebody into the government who did the person who was

23:35responsible for bringing the person in, not just the person in, they all have to

23:39go. And the reason they have to go is if you're morally compromised, you really

23:42can't be a leader. And you certainly can't be leading at the highest level.

23:47That's why moral character matters right here.

23:49So that gets repeated over and over again.

23:52And Donald Trump and Hegseth and the Trump regime play into all of the things

23:57that America's enemies say about America.

23:59They're out there. I mean, the Trump regime people, we're going to reign death.

24:03We're going to do this for fun, right?

24:06One of the things that Donald Trump said about going after the Karg Islands, he

24:10said this, you know, in various interviews, he keeps repeating it.

24:13This is fun. Yeah. We bombed the hell out of it.

24:16We decimated it. I may bomb it again because I find it fun.

24:20Well, that's a war crime right there.

24:22When Pete Hegseth says, we will show you no quarters.

24:25Quite literally a war crime is showing no quarters, right?

24:29I mean, like what we, in the, in war, the rules of war, the laws

24:33of war, you have to show quarters to people, you know, if they're, you know,

24:37desperate and they're not posing a threat.

24:40And Ben, it's interesting to note how this all shifted too, right?

24:42I mean, think about the messaging at the very beginning from the Trump regime.

24:46Think about back in February, right?

24:48What were they pushing for?

24:49They were pushing for freedom for the Iranian people.

24:52Get out there and protest.

24:54There were these pro -democracy protests that were forming against the Iranian regime.

24:58And Donald Trump said, get out there in the streets.

25:00The United States has your back.

25:03And so the Iranians went out in the streets, assuming that the United States had

25:08their back. The United States did not have their back.

25:11These pro -democracy protesters in Iran got slaughtered by the tens of thousands.

25:16Donald Trump did absolutely nothing.

25:19He waited and waited and waited.

25:21And when he did actually take action months later, the first thing he did was

25:26bomb a school with more than 165 girls in it.

25:31And now he's indiscriminately talking about the Iranians.

25:34They're nasty people. I'm not sure if they deserve our help.

25:38And as Ben said, playing into all those sort of ugly American stereotypes that the

25:43Iranian propaganda is pumping out, while the Iranian propaganda is actually being quite sophisticated and

25:50is speaking to issues that Americans care about.

25:52Like, why are you engaging yourself in this war and not helping the American people

25:57get health care? Why are you not worrying about the American people's gas prices?

26:01Why are you engaging in Israel's war when the American people need your help?

26:07Why are you covering up for the Epstein files?

26:10I'm not defending that, but I think it is important that we understand the difference

26:15in the propaganda tactics and how poor Donald Trump's communication is in this moment and

26:20how that is being used right now to turn even those people in Iran who

26:26would be sympathetic to the United States, helping them out.

26:29It's turning the United States against him because it is affirming all of the Iranian

26:33regime's propaganda. And that's why it's so dangerous.

26:36And then when you look at Donald Trump and the hexess of them all, you

26:39know, I've always referred to these people as high school bullies, right?

26:42They take on this high school bully dynamic, this character, this machismo that they try

26:47and put out there. When they put out this just other buffoonery of, we're going

26:52to bomb the hell out of them and bomb them again.

26:54And we love it. And we're going to show no quarters.

26:56And they act like, like this tough guy.

26:58They've actually never looked weaker and they actually make America look.

27:02as weak as we could be.

27:04When they act like this, it is embarrassing.

27:07It's actually genuinely humiliating for me as Americans, seeing our leaders behave in which the

27:12ways that they are. Now, the issue with these particular high school bullies that we

27:15have, quote unquote, at the highest level of government and leadership at this moment, is

27:19that they have access to a lot of firepower.

27:21And they are very dangerous to what they could do.

27:24Brett talked about the school with the girls school and all of that.

27:28It's really horrific war in general.

27:31But now when you see the specifics of what is being committed, what is happening,

27:36it's devastating. It's devastating when you realize that, too, that you don't have leaders taking

27:41the wheel that are calm, cool, and collected.

27:44And just people that want to play to this very slim base of, I'm going

27:47to bomb the hell out of them and cheer that on.

27:49It's ridiculous to me that we've come here as a country then.

27:53Two quick points. Number one, Jared Kushner is currently fundraising in the Middle East.

27:59He wants another $5 billion for his private equity firm.

28:02And so what does the foreign minister of Iran do?

28:06Post the article about Jared Kushner fundraising and says, while the American troops who are

28:12coming home in caskets that are draped with the American flag, Jared Kushner is out

28:20there and they need to raise funds using GoFundMe right now in the United States.

28:25Kushner is out there raising $5 billion from Arab nations after the United States security

28:33umbrella has failed the Arab nations and all of the promises in the pay for

28:38play schemes. The play part, the quid pro quo where you got to pay for

28:41the play. The Trump regime, the same way Donald Trump bankrupted his casinos and screwed

28:46over the creditors and screwed over the contractors.

28:49He's doing this in war.

28:51And the American people are also getting screwed over royally as well.

28:55Another point that I think needs to be noted, who's Donald Trump having out there

29:00right now as like his main surrogates of the war?

29:03It is Kevin Hassett, the National Economic Advisor.

29:08It is Besant, the Treasury Secretary.

29:14It is the Energy Secretary.

29:16All economic people, eh? All the economic people.

29:18Not people who have any strategy of the war, not the Secretary of State.

29:22You'd expect Marco Rubio to be the guy who is be there every day.

29:24You'd expect Pete Hegseth to be the guy every day, out there every day.

29:27But I think the reason is, is that they can't answer questions about the strategy

29:31behind this war because they have no strategy and their objectives that they keep claiming

29:36continue to shift. It seems like the main objective right now of this war is

29:41to open the Strait of Hormuz.

29:43The Strait of Hormuz was open before the war.

29:45That's a new objective that was now forced in there because Donald Trump, we're showing

29:51this image again, help me open Hormuz.

29:52It's a new objective now there forced in because of Donald Trump's actions sparking this

29:58global energy crisis. And so you could tell Donald Trump is not concerned about life.

30:03He's not concerned about really much of anything.

30:05You could tell by Donald Trump putting those people who Ben mentioned on the television

30:09that Donald Trump is concerned about keeping the stock market doing okay.

30:14And he's worried about the oil markets.

30:16Donald Trump cares about the markets.

30:18That's all he cares about.

30:19And you know that he is panicked that his war is having a devastating effect

30:23on the economy and on the markets.

30:25Yeah. And then caring about the markets the way he does from the perspective of

30:30directly manipulating the markets is counterintuitive and harms the markets versus allowing what the right

30:38wing claim they once cared about free markets.

30:40Donald Trump doesn't care about free markets.

30:42Donald Trump cares about Trump manipulated markets.

30:45And when he's tried to manipulate his own markets in the past, he's gone bankrupt,

30:49bankrupt, bankrupt, right? When we come back, I want to come back with receipts.

36:07to go away. We're bending the curve.

36:09By Easter, COVID will be eradicated.

36:12It's basically the same exact playbook.

36:14And by the way, Donald Trump throughout this term has consistently made up fake conversations

36:19with world leaders. This person said this, this person said that.

36:23And Donald Trump did it in the context of trade and what that had led

36:28to, and we've been reporting on it very diligently here for over a year, is

36:33all these countries forging their own trade alliances outside of the United States.

36:38Canada's been really asserting itself with Prime Minister Carney, serving really as like the intermediary

36:45or the organizing force, linking trans -Pacific partnerships with transatlantic partnerships and then going down

36:53to kind of Central America, South America, Mexico, and really just cutting out the United

36:57States. So we had seen this developing at trade levels, on mutual defense levels.

37:04We've seen like Canada and Europe entering into defense packs.

37:08We've seen Nordic defense packs and really starting to develop as Donald Trump has been

37:14significantly weakening NATO. And look, to be fair, there were a lot of people who

37:20still are within NATO, these top generals and top people who are doing their best

37:25to hold it together. But obviously, when Donald Trump continues to support Vladimir Putin, remove

37:31sanctions from Russian oil, allowing Russia to make billions of dollars right now in Donald

37:39Trump's disastrous war in Iran.

37:40Russia's the biggest beneficiary. They were on the ropes economically, and Donald Trump just gave

37:45them a massive bailout. All the while, Russia's out there saying, we're helping Iran.

37:50By the way, the Iranian foreign minister is going out there and saying, Russia and

37:54China, they are helping us militarily.

37:57they're not hiding the alliance right now.

37:59They're saying it out loud.

38:01Russia's saying, yep, we're helping them.

38:03It's not like a secret thing.

38:04And Iran is out there saying, yes, we have military, political, and economic support right

38:10now from Russia and China right now.

38:13And that's the alliance, right?

38:14It's Iran, it's Russia. And then meanwhile, what's Donald Trump saying?

38:16China, will you please help us?

38:18China, help us, please. Don't you want to help us?

38:20Why isn't China helping us?

38:21Because they want to hurt you.

38:24They're our geopolitical adversary. And by the way, if you look at what's happening in

38:29the Strait of Hormuz right now, there's about three or four cargo ships that are

38:34being allowed to go through.

38:36And if you follow the path that these ships are taking, they're going right around.

38:44They're being very close to the Iranian coast, which is kind of an unusual pattern,

38:50which has signaled to a lot of people that the reason they're probably taking that

38:55pattern is that in all the other areas, there are probably mines right now.

38:59And that Iran is controlling just that narrow strip right by the Iranian coast, whether

39:05that's for India, because we know India is now negotiating bilaterally with Iran.

39:09China is working directly with Iran.

39:12So look, the issue that China has is it's really dependent on the oil from

39:16the Middle East. So it needs to figure out a solution here.

39:20That's for sure. But it is also allied with Iran and China seeing the U

39:25.S. suffer like this for China.

39:27This is like a strategic imperative right now that they're seeing take place at warp

39:33speed, to use another term, you know, from the Trump regime.

39:36And Russia is seeing it as well.

39:38And Zelensky is out there saying, look, Trump, we're trying to give you our interceptor

39:42drones, these 10 ,000 interceptors, and give you the know -how how to shoot down

39:47these Shahi drones. And over the weekend, Donald Trump was out there saying, we don't

39:51need Zelensky's help. He's the last person I want to talk to.

39:55And by the way, he's a pain in the ass to negotiate with.

39:58I like negotiating with Putin, not Zelensky.

40:01Zelensky is literally trying to say, we have the technology to help you while Donald

40:05Trump is attacking Zelensky. So the point I was making, though, was as all of

40:11this is going on. And we know that Trump lies about everything.

40:14I gave the COVID reference.

40:16These lies were already forging changes in a geopolitical structure that we've been very focused

40:22on before the war. Now this has all been accelerated.

40:26And also these lies that Donald Trump tells in a war setting, again, doesn't even

40:34work for any outrageous propaganda value at all.

40:37It's just completely and utterly pathetic.

40:40And now you have like the foreign minister of Iran saying, because Trump and his

40:46people are saying, we're speaking with Iran, we're speaking with Iran.

40:48And then the foreign minister of Iran's like, no, my last contact with Mr.

40:53Whitcoff was prior to his employer's decision to kill diplomacy with another illegal military attack

41:00on Iran. Any claim to the contrary appears geared solely to mislead oil traders and

41:08the public. And I guess what pisses me off or makes me have like difficult

41:13feelings to grapple with is like, I know here the Iranian foreign ministers is telling

41:18the truth. And I know our government is lying as it relates specifically to this

41:22issue. Right. Why would Iran be lying about, you know, that specific issue if it

41:28thought that it was getting obliterated?

41:30You know, we know that Iran was striking the Dubai airports today.

41:35We know that Iran is having a lot of Middle East nations reach out to

41:39try to negotiate bilateral. We know that Donald Trump is stuck right now.

41:44And so, no, the Trump regime is out there clearly manipulating the markets right now.

41:49And they're just lying about communications that are not taking place.

41:52Let me show you what Iran's military command is saying right now, because they're now

41:57doing these videos in English, just like mocking Donald Trump.

42:02So this comes from their central headquarters in Iran.

42:04They're saying, oh, you call this epic fury.

42:08It's epic fear. You're not going to get out of this by tweets, Donald.

42:11Here, play this clip. A message to the president of the United States.

42:16The outcome of war cannot be determined by tweets.

42:19The result of a war is determined in the field, the very place where you

42:25and your forces do not dare to approach, and you can only talk about it

42:30in your tweets. It's better to name this war as epic fear instead of epic

42:36fury. I mean, how is it that our people now look like Baghdad Bob?

42:43And their people are saying things that intuitively were like, yes, why is Donald Trump

42:50handling this by social media?

42:53All caps, tweets, don't be a panicking.

42:55It's ridiculous. I mean, I think one day this will be analyzed beyond the strategic

43:00missteps that Donald Trump engaged in in going into this war in the first place,

43:05especially with zero objectives whatsoever, seemingly constantly shifting goalposts, not bringing, looping our allies into

43:13what he was going to do, telling our allies to F off, and then begging

43:17them to come into the fold.

43:19Combining not only that aspect, but the communication aspect, I think, in the future is

43:24going to be. a, it's going to be really studied, um, how this war was

43:28communicated to the public and what a failure in communication Donald Trump and his regime

43:34have been doing compared to the Iranians who are using Donald Trump's typical tricks against

43:40him in so many ways.

43:42I mean, this is such a failure at the highest levels and Donald Trump has

43:46made the United States look so incredibly weak.

43:49And seeing all of these leaders, all of these statements, uh, we saw the leaders

43:54from Germany, from the UK, from South Korea, from Japan, all over the world today,

43:59all releasing statements, German Chancellor Murs on Iran saying we will not participate in this

44:04war. There were a whole bunch of statements.

44:07I mean, Japan saying Japan does not currently plan to dispatch naval vessels to escort

44:12ships in the Middle East.

44:13Uh, that was what the prime minister of Japan said, uh, Britain, Keir Starmer, the

44:17prime minister said that, uh, he will not let the country be drawn into the

44:21wider war. European foreign ministers said that they do not want to be drawn into

44:26the, uh, wider war. I mean, this is like a full court press from the

44:30entire world. You see Italy's foreign minister saying diplomacy is the right way to solve

44:35issues in the Strait of Hormuz and that they will not be sending any naval,

44:39uh, you know, missions, uh, to the Strait to help Greece.

44:42A government spokesperson said on Monday that Greece would not engage in military operations in

44:47the Strait of Hormuz. We just are seeing this now from every single country.

44:52Do we have the statement from the German, uh, uh, the, the guy in the

44:55German, uh, yeah, let me, I want to, uh, bring this up from the defense

44:59minister, Boris Pistorius, because I thought this was like a particularly big, uh, kind of

45:04F you, uh, to Donald Trump.

45:06He said, what does Trump expect from a handful of Europeans that the powerful U

45:13S Navy cannot do? This is not our war.

45:15We have not started it basically saying you, Donald Trump are saying that the U

45:20S Navy is this all powerful force.

45:22What could we, are these lowly Germans who you've demeaned and the EU, what are

45:27we going to possibly bring to the table?

45:29I mean, that's why I said that Donald Trump has brought us into the great

45:32American humiliation. We have never seen such a repudiation of the United States from foreign

45:38leaders. And in a way, in a big way, they're teaching Donald Trump a lesson

45:41of how the world works.

45:43And it reminds me of what Zelensky said in February, 2025.

45:47We played this clip on our social media recently, and I know Ben has brought

45:50it up, but remember what Zelensky said in that oval office, that infamous oval office

45:53day, you had a president Zelensky of Ukraine sitting in the oval office next to

45:57Donald Trump and next to JD Vance.

45:59And, uh, Zelensky was saying, listen, there's going to be a day.

46:04You may be protected right now by the ocean, but there's going to be a

46:07day when you are involved in a war and you need the help of your

46:11friends. And Donald Trump and JD Vance, Donald Trump, don't tell me what to feel.

46:15Don't tell me what to feel.

46:17You don't tell me what we're going to do.

46:18And, uh, Zelensky's like, I'm not telling you what, what to feel, what you're going

46:22to feel. I'm just telling you how the world works.

46:25One day there will be a time where you will feel it because you will

46:28be in the middle of combat.

46:29You will be in the middle of a war and you will need to rely

46:32on your friends. That was when, uh, you know, there was the whole JD Vance,

46:35what, do you wear a suit?

46:36You know, that was that, that whole saga where they shouted Zelensky down.

46:40Well, I think that moment right there is going to be a moment that is

46:44in history as a moment of the foresight of Zelensky and his diplomacy of him

46:51warning Donald Trump. It's like an omen to Donald Trump.

46:54Like you better listen up, dude, because you need others as well.

46:59But Donald Trump refused, refused that premise.

47:02And now we are witnessing the karma of that happen in real time.

47:06And unfortunately for us, it's to the detriment of the United States.

47:10And it's the detriment of the security of the United States and of our allies.

47:14And it's all caused by Donald Trump and the sycophants around Donald Trump who refused

47:19to stand up to him and refused to say anything.

47:21I mean, we've seen people interviewed like Besant, um, and they've asked Besant, they've said

47:26stuff like, Hey, like if you thought that a move Donald Trump was going to

47:30make would be devastating for the global economy, would you tell him that?

47:34Yeah. You would think your advisors, you know, you, you hire advisors to give their

47:37advice, right. To, to, to maybe push back sometimes and say, yeah, I don't know.

47:41That's such a good idea.

47:42I'm an expert in this field.

47:44That's why you picked me.

47:45But Besant was like, no, I wouldn't, I would never, I would never tell the

47:48president what to do. I can't do the Besant like Ben could do it.

47:51So I'm not going to, I'm not going to attempt it, but you get what

47:54I'm saying here. You just have a bunch of yes men around him who are

47:57leading us right now to disaster.

47:59Donald Trump's back is against the wall.

48:02And to me, that's the scariest part about all of this because desperate people do

48:07desperate things. And it's why we say too, that, that Trump, that the regime, the

48:12cabinet, everyone that Trump has put around him, they're just yes men.

48:16They're trying to appease one audience.

48:18And they've even admitted it that they are trying to appease Donald Trump.

48:22So if it's going to actually benefit Americans and Donald Trump has proven wrong in

48:26certain instances, they won't even, they won't tell him because they're too scared or because

48:30they're just that complicit in wanting to do Donald Trump's bidding.

48:34I'm so sick of this idea and this concept, by the way, that Donald Trump

48:37is this great negotiator, this great genius businessman.

48:41He wrote a book, he wrote a book about it.

48:43The art of the deal.

48:44Oh, what a, what a, what a genius he is.

48:46He, I'm not saying this to be like, he's probably the worst negotiator that's ever

48:51existed. And because he hasn't had to negotiate in the same playing field that folks

48:56actually have to negotiate in.

48:58Why? Because again, he had daddy's money that he just blew up.

49:01He had daddy's money and his name.

49:03So anytime in his prior business dealings where he was trying to do negotiations, well,

49:07guess who has the upper hand when they have all of the money and all

49:10of the name behind you and all of the cloud and all of the stuff

49:13that comes with it? The person that has all of that.

49:15And so now when Donald Trump is trying to negotiate on a global stage, he

49:19has to start playing by rules that are a bit more fair.

49:22And what he's trying to lean into is the superiority of the United States and

49:26the United States military. And it is, it is vastly incredible.

49:29And there's no way around that, but you have to actually be able to come

49:33to the table and negotiate on real terms with people that actually want to make

49:37progress. You can't just say you're the best, talk about how all you have are

49:41the best things and expect people to just bend the knee and admit, okay, yeah,

49:45you are. Yeah. Okay. We'll do whatever you have to say, Donald Trump.

49:48He is the worst person to be in charge of this moment right now.

49:51As I keep saying, it is going to get even worse than what we are

49:55already seeing. And our American troops are paying the price.

49:59Our collective economy is paying the price.

50:01It's devastating. The impacts are devastating.

50:04Yeah. Look, I think about the Greek and Roman tragedies I read in college.

50:09I think about the Shakespearean stories that I read.

50:14I think about Aesop's fables, you think about these characters, right?

50:19That are stand -ins for, you know, arrogance and stand -ins for, you know, people

50:27who ultimately get this karma after going through, you know, all of these machinations.

50:32And when you read it, sometimes you would be like, yeah, but no one's really

50:35like that in real life.

50:37Like, that's not like you're exaggerating.

50:39But the reality is, is that Donald Trump is like himself an exaggeration of the

50:46exaggeration in these Greek and Roman tragedies of like the fallen leader who was so

50:53arrogant that he led his country off the cliff, right?

50:56Like that's actually what is happening in real time.

50:59And the things that Donald Trump's saying are so outrageous and so dangerous that you're

51:07like, did he really just say that?

51:10I'll just give you examples.

51:11During a press conference today, Donald Trump said, you know, no one thought Iran was

51:17going to go after all these countries.

51:19They weren't supposed to do that.

51:22That wasn't the plan. Says who?

51:24You were warned about exactly that from your generals and the Arab nations.

51:29And Iran said, this is what we will do if you attack us.

51:33Here's our plan. It was well known.

51:35I knew about it. I was talking about it two months ago.

51:39Let's put it this way.

51:40I'm not trying to criticize myself, though.

51:42But if I knew about it two months ago, I would certainly hope people around

51:46Donald Trump knew about it.

51:48You all knew about it.

51:51Look, look what happened in the last two weeks.

51:55They weren't supposed to go after all these other countries in the Middle East.

51:59Those missiles were set to go after them.

52:02So they hit Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait.

52:10Nobody expected that. We were shocked.

52:14Nobody expected that. We were shocked.

52:17Well, that right there should be disqualifying.

52:21If that truly shocked you, you deserve to be impeached and removed.

52:26And you deserve to be behind bars, frankly, for lots of other things.

52:31But that's certainly impeachable in my mind.

52:33Easily impeachable. If that isn't impeachable, I don't know what an impeachable event is.

52:37If that's not 25th Amendment, I don't know what the 25th Amendment is there for.

52:41Or Donald Trump, after saying that we need the help of all of these nations

52:47to help us in the Strait of Hormuz, then saying they joined us.

54:37So then then Donald Trump says, you said that Iran wants to make a deal

55:22That's a terrible situation. By the way, Donald Trump uses AI for a lot of

55:28things. Number one. Number two.

55:30What do you mean? You just realize they're a country of disinformation.

55:33They're a country of misinformation.

55:35And number three. They're not talking to you.

55:38They're just they're not. They don't want to.

55:42There's no incentive for them to talk to you because you utilize a negotiation to

55:48attack. So even if they did, what would be the purpose of them doing it

55:52when if they talked with you, you're just going to view any type of negotiation

55:58as a vulnerability to then exploit it.

56:01Like that's obviously, you know, what you do.

56:05I want to pause there for a moment.

1:01:24And it's just the double standard of which, how the media treats a Donald Trump

1:01:30versus how they would treat any other president at any point in time.

1:01:35Imagine if Biden did it.

1:01:36Imagine if Biden was doing all of these things that Donald Trump is going out

1:01:39there saying, and, and just the utter failure, quite frankly, of what is happening right

1:01:44now. Donald Trump, for whatever reason, and we know the reason it's because he owns

1:01:49corporate media. He owns the, he owns the news stations at this point.

1:01:52He gets treated like he's, I don't know, like, like he's like, he's not as

1:01:58bad as everything that we are all witnessing with our eyes and the constant gaslighting.

1:02:03I keep going back to that conversation that we were having earlier in the show

1:02:06when we were watching that, that local cable channel here, you know, essentially carrying water

1:02:10for the Trump regime. It's just, it's so infuriating to me because, you know, most

1:02:16Americans, they, they, they just want to be able to live.

1:02:20They, they just, they want healthcare.

1:02:21They want to spend time with their families.

1:02:23They want to be able to save up enough to go on vacations.

1:02:27Like they just want to be able to, to live.

1:02:30And yet you're somewhere along all of this, they also have to dive in and

1:02:37figure out what's propaganda and what's not.

1:02:39And unfortunately through the airwaves or the algorithms or, or whatever other, you know, entity

1:02:45that, that the Trump regime has complete ownership of, they're getting fed this streamlined propaganda

1:02:50right into their brains. And so I just, you know, I give it up to

1:02:54our audience here always for continuing to press forward and to look for the facts,

1:02:59the data, the information, the video clips to show your inner circles, because your voice,

1:03:03and I'm talking directly to our audience here, your voice, your individual voices are so

1:03:08important in pulling people out of this propaganda and actually showing them what's going on,

1:03:13especially as you see the ways that corporate entities treat Donald Trump with, with, with

1:03:19these kid gloves. It's insane to me, Brett.

1:03:21You know, there are a few flashpoints I would say that have occurred during this

1:03:26second Trump administration and the absolute disaster of the Epstein files and the way that

1:03:32they handled that. And the ongoing coverup has been one of those flashpoints and this

1:03:38disastrous war has been another, but I think Donald Trump is so outrageous and so

1:03:44beyond the pale that to kind of the average person who isn't paying as much

1:03:50attention as our listeners, as, you know, people who may be following this stuff online,

1:03:56they think like it, uh, that person has to be exaggerating.

1:04:00Like this, this, that this person there, you know, Trump derangement syndrome.

1:04:04Hello. Like, this is like, they're being a little kind of nutty, but what I

1:04:07feel like these moments do is they sort of knock people back to reality a

1:04:11little bit. And I've even seen some, you know, kind of big kind of influencers

1:04:15on the MAGA side of things and a big accounts on the MAGA side of

1:04:19things suddenly be like, damn, I hate that they were right.

1:04:23You know, I hate that the Midas guys were right.

1:04:25I hate that, you know, so -and -so was right because they're seeing it now.

1:04:28It's like, you can't get around this issue.

1:04:31And going back to the clips that, uh, you know, Trump was, uh, that, that

1:04:35Ben was showing before of Trump speaking about this, one of the issues of all

1:04:40of Trump's comments, aside from everything about them, but one of the big issues is

1:04:43that, um, you know, you have a guy talking about misinformation and disinformation and Iran

1:04:49as a disinformation state and all this stuff.

1:04:52When Donald Trump is the biggest purveyor of disinformation and lying and all those sort

1:04:58of abusive behaviors that he's trying to project on others.

1:05:01So Trump is trying to do the same projection that he does on, you know,

1:05:05when he talks about Democrats, Antifa, blah, blah, blah, all that stuff.

1:05:08He's using the same kind of rhetoric and terminology to talk about Iran, but Donald

1:05:12Trump does not have the moral high ground to do it.

1:05:15And Donald Trump. has not ever even explained what the hell this war is even

1:05:20about to the American people.

1:05:22Iraq was a horrible idea and a historic catastrophe, of course, but at least the

1:05:29Bush administration spent months and months and months and months trying to make their case

1:05:34to Congress, making their case to the American people.

1:05:37At least they did something.

1:05:39Donald Trump just jumped into this.

1:05:41And then the part that really, really bothers me and should bother everybody, should bother

1:05:47every American, I don't give a damn if you consider yourself left, right, center, Democrat,

1:05:53Republican, is the way that Donald Trump so callously speaks about our dead service members.

1:05:59Regardless of Donald Trump's stupidity in getting us into this war, I have the utmost

1:06:05respect for our service members in the United States.

1:06:08And we're learning now tonight from a new report from the Washington Post that the

1:06:12number of troops injured during this war has now surpassed 200.

1:06:17And that's according to a spokesperson from the U .S.

1:06:20Central Command with tense and still in serious condition.

1:06:22And unfortunately, we cannot fully trust the information that is coming out of the Pentagon

1:06:28in this administration. We know about the deaths that have happened as a result of

1:06:33this war. And anytime Donald Trump is asked about it, instead of delivering a message

1:06:38to those families who lost loved ones, gave their lives for our country, what does

1:06:44Donald Trump do? That's a terrible question.

1:06:46That's a disgusting question. Get out of here.

1:06:48Next question. Next question. Next question.

1:06:50I've never seen a president ever, ever, ever even presidents that I truly did not

1:06:56like and disagreed with on every single level.

1:06:59I have never seen a president who treats our soldiers like this, especially our soldiers

1:07:06who died fighting for our country.

1:07:08It is such a disgrace, but it's no surprise, quite frankly, coming from the guy

1:07:13who called our dead soldiers suckers and losers for even joining the military in the

1:07:18first place. Absolutely. I want to show you a few things right now.

1:07:24Number one, let me show you this clip here of Donald Trump saying that he,

1:07:29remember, I showed you a clip before of Donald Trump saying, I didn't know who,

1:07:35who would have thought that Iran was going to attack all of its neighbors.

1:07:38And this clip right here, he says, I predicted everything.

1:07:41I knew everything that was going to happen.

1:07:44Just like I knew they would use the straight of Hormuz as a weapon.

1:07:48And I also predicted bin Laden.

1:07:51I knew bin Laden was going to strike on nine 11.

1:07:54I knew nine 11 before nine 11.

1:07:56Go back and read my book.

1:07:57I predicted nine 11, which by the way, he, he didn't.

1:08:00If you go back and read the book that he references, there's like one passing

1:08:04reference to bin Laden and there's no prediction about nine 11.

1:08:07Again, just, just everything the guy says is a lie, but here's what he says

1:08:10about the straight of Hormuz.

1:08:12Let's play this clip. I knew about the straight, that it would be a weapon,

1:08:18which I predicted a long time ago, predicted all of this stuff.

1:08:22You guys were very generous in that.

1:08:23I predicted all of it.

1:08:24I predicted Osama bin Laden would knock out the world trades.

1:08:30And I made that prediction a year before he did.

1:08:32I said, you better get him.

1:08:33He's a bad guy. I watched him be interviewed one time.

1:08:37And I said, that's a bad guy.

1:08:39You better get him one year before.

1:08:41Exactly. I wrote it in a book.

1:08:43You can even check about a year before the world trade center came down.

1:08:48Uh, president Clinton actually had a shot at him and he didn't take it.

1:08:52Unfortunately, I'm not blaming him for that, but he didn't take it.

1:08:56And, uh, he ended up knocking down the world trade center, but I predicted that

1:09:01too. I predicted a lot of things.

1:09:03We strongly encourage him. By the way, he sounds and looks not like, like he,

1:09:10if there's, I'm trying to pick my words.

1:09:13He, he, I don't, here's the thing.

1:09:15I don't want to use any type of kind of cognitive issue as an excuse

1:09:21for how malicious and disgusting is.

1:09:24That's why I want to be careful because I don't want to conflate Trump's despicable

1:09:29maliciousness with an illness that people actually suffer from.

1:09:33So I want to be very respectful and careful in it.

1:09:37Um, the individual who we're looking at there is, is, is, is unwell pathologically.

1:09:44And there were other things going on as well.

1:09:47I think he's a deranged sick individual, regardless of if there's something physically going on

1:09:52as well, but just even watching that is sickening.

1:09:56Then I'll just show you what Donald Trump then talked about in that press conference

1:09:59about Cuba and how he is really thinks it's going to be fun to take

1:10:05over Cuba. Cuba belongs to him.

1:10:08And again, the language that he is using, in my opinion, it's the language of

1:10:14Hitler giving you my opinion, right?

1:10:17I have a first amendment, right?

1:10:18Freedom of speech to give you my opinion speech.

1:10:20This is the language of Hitler, in my opinion, of Mussolini, of, of, of really

1:10:27sick authoritarians. Here, play it.

1:10:30It's a beautiful island, great weather.

1:10:32They're not in a hurricane zone, which is nice for a change.

1:10:35You know, they won't be asking us for money for hurricanes every week.

1:10:39But, uh, but I think Cuba see the end.

1:10:42You know, all my life I've been hearing about the united states and cuba and

1:10:46when will the united states do it i do believe i'll be the honor of

1:10:50having the honor of taking cuba that'd be good that's a big honor taking cuba

1:10:57taking cuba in some form yeah taking you i mean whether i free it take

1:11:03it i think i can do anything i want with it you want to know

1:11:06the truth they're a very uh weakened nation right now they were for a long

1:11:11time and very violent uh very violent leaders caster was a very violent leader his

1:11:17brothers are very violent leader extremely violent that's how they governed they governed with violence

1:11:24but a lot of people would like to go back i yeah you know that's

1:11:31why i said i just got to show you the receipts the beginning of the

1:11:35episode we we tell you about what he's saying then we analyze it and then

1:11:41i just want to layer it in with what he said so you know that

1:11:45this is no bait and switch i mean what the language that he used there

1:11:49is absolutely sick and by the way that repels countries that want to help us

1:11:59i mean do you all know that you know canada has been running a lot

1:12:04of missions uh humanitarian missions you know in cuba for a very long time other

1:12:10nations have as well other nations that were formerly allied with the united states care

1:12:15about human rights and they care about you know when i was watching this um

1:12:20this nordic canada uh defense event in oslo the other day one of the things

1:12:26they keep on mentioning is shared values and principles and uniting around those values and

1:12:33principles in common defense and that america doesn't have that whether they say it overtly

1:12:37or not that u .s does not share these values and principles uh and and

1:12:43and the united states doesn't right now especially under donald trump it doesn't it's tragic

1:12:49to say this as someone here in the united states but donald trump's language language

1:12:54when donald trump goes he's a very bad guy that donald trump's language is of

1:12:58a very bad guy representing the worst of the worst things imaginable and so think

1:13:06about again how iran how china how they use that as well in order to

1:13:12influence their regency this is what you want donald trump views you as a pawn

1:13:19donald trump views you as something that he takes as a trophy as part of

1:13:25his imperial ambitions that's what um you know that's what trump is saying out loud

1:13:30and it's it makes us weaker it hurts our troops it hurts our defense posture

1:13:36it hurts our ability to forge alliances um and i know that's how our generals

1:13:42feel for sure this is weakness at this is as weak as you get it

1:13:47just to say it is a very sad moment in history to be an american

1:13:53right now this is not a proud moment and i could just you know relate

1:13:57that to our international audience i mean especially as donald trump is threatening media with

1:14:02treason who speaks out against him and we're one of the biggest out there that

1:14:06speak out against him i don't know what's going to happen to me i don't

1:14:09know what's going to happen to my brothers i don't have to think about you

1:14:12know this why i think about this network in terms of legacy and in terms

1:14:17of uh you know this this network living on without us because you know who

1:14:22knows what's going to happen here you know i hope these episodes um and what

1:14:27we do here and what we've helped inspire or just played a small part of

1:14:31um you know continues to grow um but but you know who knows what's going

1:14:38to happen in this country with a sicko authoritarian uh like that like that who

1:14:42you just heard right there but this makes us weak this makes us look pathetic

1:14:46that doesn't make us look strong at all and it's really the the low point

1:14:50in the entire history of the united unprecedented and how pathetic the united states looks

1:14:55right now brett and jordy i could not agree more and as you were saying

1:14:59this constant attempt to project the strength and machismo only makes the united states look

1:15:05weaker and all of these lies coming from trump just continues to make us look

1:15:09more and more desperate and you know we should also mention ben was just speaking

1:15:13about the media uh you know the fcc commissioner brendan carr yesterday put out a

1:15:18tweet uh essentially threatening the media and their broadcast licenses uh if they report what

1:15:23he described as fake information about the war saying that they need to be honest

1:15:28they need to be telling the truth they need to act in the public interest

1:15:31well the trump administration believes that it is not in the public interest for the

1:15:35media to actually tell the truth about what a disaster this war has actually been

1:15:40they want the media to launder this propaganda and you know you would think they

1:15:45would even try to hide the ball a little bit on this but they've been

1:15:49so blatant about it you saw pete hegseth the other day at one of those

1:15:53you know deranged you know press conferences where he gets up there and it's like

1:15:58am i watching colin jost on snl up here like what the hell is this

1:16:01what am i looking at like like it's like an unfunny like like what the

1:16:04hell am i looking at and yeah you know hegseth made some sort of comment

1:16:07uh i think it was you know to see an end reporter and he was

1:16:11like it was like Oh, just wait till your new ownership takes over.

1:16:13Then they'll set you straight.

1:16:14Typically, you're not supposed to – if you're a good authoritarian, you don't actually tell

1:16:21people that you plan on taking over the media, that you plan on having control

1:16:25over the narrative. But they're that bad at this, but it's still that dangerous.

1:16:29So many people in the country are getting their information from people who are laundering

1:16:36government narratives, and that is incredibly dangerous.

1:16:39But on the contrary, on the other hand, I am – I think we're lucky

1:16:45that we still have a free press in this country, even if we have a

1:16:49lot of these networks who are willing to bend the knee to this regime, even

1:16:52if they have these billions and billions and billions of dollars to spread their message.

1:16:57I think it's effective that we have the power of the people right now, and

1:17:01we are able to spread our message.

1:17:02And when I talk about the frustration of us, a lot of you saying that

1:17:07you're unable to get our show on Apple Podcasts, for example, the main reason that

1:17:12it frustrates me is because that just means another line of communication between us who

1:17:18are trying to deliver you these facts has been cut off.

1:17:20And that, to me, in this environment is dangerous, and it's scary, and that's why

1:17:24I'm like, I don't know if we're being targeted or not.

1:17:26It's kind of strange that it's our show, but it's a reminder that you have

1:17:32a responsibility holding these facts.

1:17:33You have a responsibility as well listening to the show, and I hope it's kind

1:17:36of an active listening experience for all of you that when you get this information

1:17:40that you do something with it.

1:17:41And it doesn't mean you've got to start an organization or a protest or a
