0:37We're going to get into Cuba, because I think Cuba is an interesting discussion.

0:42I know we've got a lot of Cuban listeners, but Cuba, Iran, Venezuela, they're all

0:49connected, by the way. Big baseball game happening in Miami tonight between Venezuela and the

0:57United States. Buck, I might talk about this in the third hour a bit, but

1:01the scene if Trump went to this game and threw out the first pitch from

1:07all of the Venezuelan expats and all of the pro -America fans that are going

1:13to be at this game, if you're a sports fan at all, I'm telling you,

1:16put it on tonight. This world baseball classic has been awesome in Buck's backyard in

1:21Miami. It's going to be an electric scene.

1:23I'm watching it tonight, going to a sports bar with a couple of buddies down

1:26here and my kids. Okay, let me hit you with this.

1:31President Trump just now with the Prime Minister, is it the Prime Minister, I think,

1:36of Ireland, answering questions from the media, and here are a lot of what he

1:42has said. Let's see. Trump, I wanted to play this.

1:47This is cut 34. Trump said years ago that you have to attack Karg Island.

1:54That is the primary deposit or departure point of Iranian oil, and he just addressed

2:01that. Again, he's been saying this for decades, so anyone out there saying, oh, the

2:06only reason Trump's doing this is Israel, cut 34.

2:09Listen. I said you have to attack Karg Island.

2:13You have to attack them years ago where they were acting up.

2:16They've been acting up for 37, 47, I guess now 48 years.

2:21For 48 years, they've been bad players, vicious players, and you can't let them have

2:26a nuclear weapon. If they got a nuclear weapon, I would say they would have

2:29used it within 24 hours after having it, and they would have had it if

2:33we didn't bomb them out from at a great rate with the B -2 bombers

2:37eight months ago or so.

2:40You would have had a nuclear war in the Middle East and maybe beyond.

2:44I think it would have hit Europe.

2:46Maybe not Ireland, but it would have hit Europe.

2:48I think you would have been a nice piece of it.

2:51It all gets you. It's big enough that you would have been affected.

2:53They would have hit Europe.

2:55All right. And then Trump says, we're not ready to leave yet, but we'll be

3:00leaving in the near future.

3:02Not putting an exact timetable on Iran, but letting everybody know this is not a

3:07forever war. Cut 35. We're not ready to leave yet, but we will be leaving

3:13in the near future. We'll be leaving in pretty much the very near future.

3:17But right now, they've been decimated from every standpoint.

3:22And again, we've had great support from countries in the Middle East.

3:27Great support. But we've had no support from essentially no support from NATO.

3:32And then he's there with the prime minister of Ireland.

3:35He teed off on the current leader of the U .K., England's Starmer.

3:41And he said, look, he's no Churchill.

3:43Cut 33. Well, he hasn't been supportive.

3:48And I think it's a big mistake.

3:50You know, they make a lot of money on trade with the United States.

3:53I did. I went out of my way.

3:56As you know, they couldn't make a deal with Biden because they had no real

4:00administration to make a deal with Biden.

4:02But we made a deal.

4:03We made a good deal for them.

4:04And frankly, probably wasn't appreciated.

4:08I do look forward to seeing the king.

4:10He's going to be coming, as you know, very shortly.

4:13But no, I was disappointed because Keir was willing to send two aircraft carriers after

4:19we won. Because essentially, there's no threat for the aircraft carriers right now.

4:24And I said, no, no, we want things sent before the war, not after the

4:28war is won. So, yeah, I'm disappointed with Keir.

4:32I like him. I think he's a nice man, but I'm disappointed.

4:35Okay, so. You see that?

4:37Okay, so President Trump just moments ago in the Oval Office.

4:41Buck, I think it's going to be hard to attack Trump very long on this

4:45because to your point, if you were setting an over -under of when major operations

4:49cease in Iran, I think you said yesterday, April 1st, thereabouts, I would be stunned.

4:55What are we sitting at right now?

4:57The 17th? I would be stunned if a month from now we're still engaged in

5:02acts. So, look, we're talking about relatively short -lived process at this point in time.

5:08Hopefully, Trump won't end it on March 31st and then announce a full -scale ground

5:13invasion on April 1st. Psych.

5:17April Fool's. That would be quite an April Fool's joke.

5:21I'm just saying. I don't think Trump will do that.

5:24But He has been known to make some jokes.

5:27Yeah. I'm just laughing at the stock market reaction.

5:31If we actually had Trump, April Fool's reactions, can you imagine?

5:35Oh, my goodness. It would be the fastest crash and the fastest rebound in the

5:40stock market we've ever seen.

5:40If he's like, we're going in heavy, we're sending in 100 ,000 soldiers into Iran.

5:46Just kidding. April Fool's. You could see it in real time, just completely go nuts.

5:51But look, Trump is very clear on what the mission is here.

5:54He's going to finish this up and it will be done.

5:57And I suppose, Clay, that the idea is there'll be a different tone of negotiation

6:04from the Iranians going forward.

6:06Like, do you guys want this kind of stuff or do you want to, you

6:09know, basically Trump says you got the easy way and the hard way.

6:12And the Iranians were like, hard way because they didn't think he would do it.

6:17And he's Trump, so he did it.

6:18And now I think he'll go back to them again and it will be, do

6:21you want the easy way or hard way part two?

6:23And maybe since he's taken out so much of the existing leadership, whoever is in

6:28charge going forward will say we're willing to be a little bit more constructive in

6:32these negotiations on a whole range of things.

6:35I think that's the best that's the best possible outcome as I see it right

6:38now. I don't see anything else.

6:39Um, I know we talked something about yesterday about the Gayatola, um, little Mo, as

6:44I called him. Did you see the report that came out?

6:47I think I saw it this morning.

6:49I'm not sure initially when it came out that they said he happened to go

6:52for a walk moments before the, uh, attack happened, which is the only reason he's

6:59still alive right now. That's the first explanation I've seen because it has felt strange

7:04that his dad, his wife, his son, and I think his brother all died in

7:11that attack. And somehow he survived.

7:13We don't know very much about him.

7:14We don't know very much about his condition, but that is a bit strange that

7:20he managed to go for a walk at the exact moment that the attack happened,

7:24just tossing it out there.

7:27Um, that is the report about how he survived.

7:30Now he may be dead, uh, because we still have not heard him talk.

7:33We still have not seen any video of him at a minimum.

7:36As we played for you yesterday, there have been reports that he was severely injured,

7:40but I do think anytime, but you were in the CIA.

7:44So anytime somebody happens to go for a walk right before a major bomb goes

7:49off a part of my, I was just going to say my alarm bells go

7:53on that. That's either an incredibly unbelievable coincidence.

7:57If that report is true or maybe, maybe he had a little bit of a

8:04heads up about what might have been happening.

8:06I'm just tossing it out there.

8:08It just seems strange right before the whole place gets wiped out that you decide

8:12to go for a walk on the street.

8:13That's weird to borrow from our friend, the actor from the fugitive.

8:17It's a bit hinky, a little hinky that you can't just know that your leader,

8:23or he can't prove that your leader is in fact fine.

8:26There is something hinky about that.

8:27Something a bit strange, a bit unusual.

8:30It's a clue. I sent you that video after Friday, we had the guy from

8:34the fugitive on, among many other movies that he had done.

8:39And it is kind of crazy that they actually filmed the fugitive scene on St.

8:45Patrick's Day in Chicago live during the St.

8:50Patrick's Day parade. And there's an interview of Tommy Lee Jones as he is going

8:55through the parade. If you watch that, a lot of times I just think, hey,

8:58they just staged this. There's no way they actually filmed part of the movie during

9:02the St. Patrick's Day parade.

9:03No, they did. It's a cool video footage of the fugitive from that day.

9:08They were filming in Chicago.

9:09And Tommy Lee Jones gets interviewed on WGN.

9:13Tommy Lee Jones in his heyday in the 90s, fantastic.

9:17Great in that movie. Great in the early 2000s, No Country for Old Men.

9:21Just forget about his appearance in one of those really bad Batman movies.

9:25Don't even... Oh, I forgot about that one.

9:27Or no, he was Two -Face.

9:28He was Two -Face, right, guys?

9:29I don't even know. He was in one of those Batman movies that I'm pretty

9:32sure the studio that owns the rights to it lit all the copies on fire.

9:37But Tommy Lee Jones back in the day was fantastic.

9:39Clay, you're very optimistic about all things in Iran right now.

9:43Super. And look, I tend to be optimistic in general.

9:48But I trust Marco Rubio and Pete Hegseth.

9:52I just think they've been phenomenal on most of their foreign policy.

9:56And I think if you look at how well things are going in Venezuela, and

9:59if you question how well things are going in Venezuela, you know they're going well

10:05because there's no media coverage.

10:07We have a predisposition in the United States for negative media coverage across the board.

10:12Things go poorly. They get more coverage.

10:14Things go well. They get less coverage.

10:16We just opened back up the embassy in Venezuela for the first time, I think,

10:20since 2013 -ish was what I saw.

10:23And we've now raised the American flag there.

10:26I think we're going to be out of Iran quickly.

10:28I suspect that we're going to eventually figure out who we can negotiate with and

10:33deal with. I think one of the challenges in Iran right now the president's dealing

10:36with is who actually has power and who can make promises and who can engage

10:41in any sort of rapprochement as it currently exists.

10:47And Cuba, which we're going to talk about at the top of the next hour.

10:51Fuck. You— You— Who said it?

10:53Ordinarily, what's going on in Cuba would be a top story.

10:57I remember, what was it, four or five years ago when we first started on

11:00the program together, if I'm remembering the math correctly, there were protests in Cuba, and

11:05we talked about that as the lead story.

11:07Remember when they had the huge protests, people were waving American flags, then the Cuban

11:11government rose up and pushed back against them?

11:13That was during Biden's administration, but the fact of where we are right now with

11:18Cuba is kind of extraordinary by itself, and I think it's directly connected to Venezuela

11:24and to Iran. Here's one other thing as we go to break here to think

11:27about, Buck. Russia and China have done nothing for Iran.

11:32Remember when everybody out there was like, World War III will start, China's not going

11:36to let Iran get wiped out, Russia's not going to let Iran get wiped out.

11:41This is the weakest alliance.

11:43It's like a WWE alliance, for those of you who are wrestling fans, where you

11:48look over your shoulder when you're in a tag team match, and your boy is

11:53now in cahoots with the other side.

11:58There was no alliance here.

12:00There is no support anywhere for Iran from any country.

12:03It's kind of extraordinary to see, just based on the way we were all told.

12:08Oh, you've got to be careful.

12:09Iran's got powerful allies. Yeah, they ran, and they were not there at all.

12:179 -11. We're coming up on the 25th anniversary of 9 -11.

12:21We are in the 25th anniversary year, and we've got a story here about one

12:28of America's heroes, Robert Welsh, New York City firefighter.

12:31Robert served as a police officer before his appointment to the fire department in 2001.

12:37Just weeks after the 9 -11 attacks, he was on the front lines of recovery

12:41efforts. Robert dedicated nearly two decades of his life to protecting his community.

12:46He coached youth sports, shared a great life with his wife Jennifer and their three

12:50kids, but Robert lost his courageous battle with 9 -11 -related cancer, leaving behind his

12:55family. In this 25th anniversary year of 9 -11, we continue to see the toll

13:01that day is still taking on heroes and their families.

14:24you're probably four Guinnesses deep already and dressed like a little leprechaun and running around

14:32the streets of Southie having a great time.

14:35So you're not listening necessarily to the show, but I'm sure the St.

14:39Patrick's Day parade in New York is going to be quite an affair.

14:47That's really the only parade, Clay, that I can think of in New York.

14:53This will surprise none of you.

14:56I'm not really a parade guy.

14:58I'm going to join you, Buck.

15:00This is maybe going to surprise people.

15:02I'm very anti -parade. I don't.

15:05I think parades existed for a time before, like screens, and I don't get it.

15:12Yeah, I get why parades in the 1940s were a big deal.

15:16You never went to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade?

15:19Definitely not. Nope, not a thing.

15:22Well, I get why parades are good for kids.

15:24Like, there's the Electrical Light Parade at Disney World, which I would rank as number

15:29one on my parade list.

15:30For little kids, I think parades make sense.

15:33For adults, I don't understand the desire to watch parades.

15:37I also will tell you that I lived on the route for many years, on

15:43the actual route of the Gay Pride Parade in New York City.

15:49And I saw things. I saw things in that parade that, I got to tell

15:55you, shouldn't be going on in parades.

15:58Just going to tell you, that's a whole other thing.

16:01A lot of nudity. A lot of crazy stuff going on.

16:04So, I'm not a parade guy.

16:07The one exception I have for parades was...

16:13I love the Scottish bagpipes.

16:15I mean, the... God, Scottish bagpipes.

16:17Whoops! I love the bagpipes.

16:19And you'll... Here on St.

16:21Patrick's Day, a lot of bagpipes going on.

16:24You and the Queen. I'm sorry?

16:27You and the Queen, Elizabeth, was a huge bagpipe fan back in the day.

16:32Bagpipes are awesome. When she planned her funeral, she was like, I want as many

16:36bagpipes as possible, basically. I believe the bagpipes that you all think of when you

16:41think of the movie Braveheart are actually Irish bagpipes, and they're Scottish bagpipes.

16:47Scottish bagpipes are less, how do I put this nicely, melodic.

16:52Irish bagpipes have a little more of a melody, kind of a sweetness to them.

16:56I don't know much about this stuff, but I've just done a little digging on

17:00Braveheart, so I figured these things out.

17:02So point being, if you're going to a St.

17:04Patrick's Day parade, have a great time, and I hope you remember some of it.

17:08And there's that. We also have over in Ireland, which is the top of my

17:13list for the next place I want to go overseas with Carrie.

17:16Our last little family trip was to Spain.

17:19Loved Spain. But I went to see the cathedrals, went to Toledo, and did all

17:24that. I love Spain. Spain is an incredible civilization, a wonderful country.

17:28Big fan. Scotland is amazing, too.

17:31I went to Scotland. That was a lot of fun.

17:32Ireland, that's where my people are from.

17:34How Irish are you, by the way?

17:37Like, by background. Do you think 23andMe, like every human being in this country?

17:42I did 23andMe, and I was hoping that I would be part black so I

17:48could start saying, as an African -American, I was entirely English and Irish.

17:55Like, there was maybe a little bit of North French, you know, because there used

18:01to be a lot of cross -pollination between, for those of you who are history

18:05nerds, between England and France across the English Channel there.

18:10And so, all there. A lot of names that we think of as Anglo or

18:14British, like Fitzgerald, like Fitzgerald, that actually comes from northern France, there's a lot of

18:20that. A lot of names that we think of as Anglo -Irish are actually French

18:25names that got brought over.

18:27Supposedly, the Travis name is partly connected to Travers, which is a French derivation.

18:34And first of his name, I think, was around 900 in the Travis name, around

18:39900, I think, in England.

18:42So, all British, all Irish.

18:44And my mom sent me this, and I don't know about, I don't want to

18:48throw my mom under the bus here.

18:50But I will say, my mom is not always 100 % accurate in the information

18:54that she shares with me from the Internet.

18:56I don't know if this is a general mom thing.

19:00My dad used to send me those chain letters that were like, if you don't

19:03forward this on, you're going to have seven years of bad luck.

19:07And I would be like, stop it.

19:08And he's like, I can't.

19:09I don't want the bad luck.

19:11So, my mom sent me something.

19:12I don't know. You may have some knowledge on this, that green eyes are uniquely

19:19connected to the DNA from people who lived in Ireland.

19:25I don't know if this is true at all.

19:27Some of you may be super smart when it comes to eye color.

19:31She said that, again, this is my mom, so I don't want to throw her

19:35under the bus, but my mom is not 100 % accurate on things on the

19:38Internet that she sends to me, as I'm sure maybe some of your moms and

19:43grandmas are not as well.

19:45But she sent me something yesterday in honor of St.

19:47Patrick's Day saying, green eyes are incredibly rare, which is true, and that they have

19:53primarily derived from people who are of Irish descent.

19:58And so, if you see someone with green eyes, hazel eyes, that that is primarily

20:03connected to Ireland. And it was a cool kind of little take that she sent

20:08me that it's, to be fair, gone mega viral, I think, on Instagram.

20:12But it had me thinking about it in advance of today being St.

20:16Patrick's Day. I, like you, have not spent time in Ireland.

20:18I have been to England.

20:19I have been to Scotland.

20:21I would like to go to Ireland and actually be able to do a good

20:26visit at some point in time.

20:27I love Guinness. I have heard that one of the coolest tours you can take,

20:33if you are a fan of Guinness, is they have the great Guinness factory, where

20:37they produce all of this, I believe, in Dublin.

20:39I bet a bunch of you who are listening to us have been there.

20:42I am a big fan of Guinness.

20:44I will probably have a few pints today as I watch the U .S.

20:48hopefully beat Venezuela in the WBC.

20:52But we will see on the eye color argument whether my mom is correct or

20:55not on that. According to the Internet, which, take that as you will, Ireland has

21:01the greatest concentration of green -eyed people and red -haired people in the country.

21:07I mean, in the world.

21:07In the world. Per capita.

21:08In the world, yes. And your son has got red hair.

21:12He's got fiery red hair.

21:14He's a little redhead. He looks like Jamie from Outlander, for those of you who

21:19are Outlander fans. He's got that fiery red hair.

21:23But, Clay, unfortunately, the leadership of Ireland, when it comes to love of their country

21:28and heritage, not as fiery as some of us would want, or rather sounds a

21:32bit more like you're at a Davos lecture.

21:34Here is the Irish president using the story of St.

21:40Patrick to tell everybody, you know what we need in Ireland?

21:43More globalism and more... I don't know.

21:46I don't know. I don't know.

21:47I don't know. Migration from countries all over the world that have nothing to do

21:51with Ireland or have no similarity or commonality with Ireland.

21:54Play 15. The story of Patrick's life serves as a reminder of the resilience and

22:01courage of migrants, the invaluable contributions that they have made and continue to make to

22:08the countries they now call home, sometimes even in the face of great adversity.

22:14As we recall the life of Patrick, we invoke his spirit and acknowledge our shared

22:20responsibilities as global citizens. Patrick's story invites us to respond with hospitality and kindness to

22:30those suffering the consequences of war and displacement, those fleeing their countries because of persecution

22:38or violence. I mean, he was initially captured as a slave from Britain, brought to

22:45Ireland to work there, and then he escaped, and then he came back later as

22:50a missionary. But he didn't show up from, like, Bangladesh and say, hey, I want

22:57a lot of free stuff, pay for all my things, and I don't plan to

23:01learn your language. Like, things have changed quite a bit since migration in the 5th

23:05century. That, yes, that also sounds like a guy who's playing the role of an

23:12Irish guy. Listening to that audio, it doesn't sound like a real person.

23:18It sounds like he's playing the role of an Irish guy in a movie.

23:22That's a woman? I think that's a guy.

23:24That we just played the audio of?

23:27It's a woman. Oh, I thought that was a guy.

23:30Wow. Am I the only person who thought that was a dude?

23:36Is that sexist of me?

23:38I was like, this is kind of a soft, like, not very masculine voice.

23:42To be fair, we don't know how the president of Ireland identifies, but if you're

23:45going with, is this a chick?

23:47When you look at her, it's a chick, dude.

23:49I totally thought that was a dude.

23:51No. Like, kind of a weak -voiced dude.

23:54Am I the only person that thought that was a dude?

23:57Please, other people out there listening.

23:59You're not going to hire her for the Outkick bikini calendar, but it is a

24:02female, yes. I totally thought that was an effeminate dude.

24:09I was like, this sounds like somebody who's trying to be blandly inoffensive and playing

24:13a role of blandly inoffensive, apologetic dude.

24:18So, well, I guess that's a masculine -sounding chick in some way, then.

24:25You knew 100 % that was a dude, or you knew because you...

24:29I knew it was a chick.

24:30It's a lot of dudes.

24:31It's the opposite of dudes.

24:32Yeah, well, right, but you knew based on the voice?

24:35It's not even a dude who looks like a lady.

24:37It looks like a lady.

24:38Yeah, but we don't have video.

24:40What do you mean? There's video.

24:42Yes, I'm saying, but we're not watching the video, so I'm only...

24:46It's a theater of the mind.

24:47I'm only hearing a voice, and I was picturing that being a man speaking.

24:51I don't know. I think that gets you a headbutt and some Guinness thrown in

24:54your face in Dublin, buddy, so that's all I can tell you.

24:58My point here on Ireland is 20 % of Ireland is now foreign -born.

25:05The number in the last 10 years is going up dramatically, and the Irish leadership,

25:11they see what's gone on in places like Germany and Sweden and Belgium, and they're

25:17like, you know what we need?

25:18Some of that. And France, you know what we need?

25:22Some of that. Let's get some of that going on.

25:24Let's bring in as many people from other places as we can as fast as

25:29we can and see what happens to our culture, to our political unity and everything

25:34else. But the Irish, look, just historically, they've got a big...

25:38I'm not talking about Irish -Americans, which is probably about a third of this audience

25:41right now, including Clay and me.

25:43I'm talking about the actual Irish -Irish.

25:45Big... They love the PLO.

25:48They love Cuba. They love all the downtrodden leftists of the world because they're right

25:55next door to Great Britain.

25:56And yeah, they've had all their beef with Britain and the IRA and everything else,

25:59but at the end of the day, they're next door to Britain.

26:01It's a pretty safe, cozy little place to be.

26:03Do you know where all of this comes from, though?

26:06Unfortunately, people in Ireland and people in most Western civilization countries are just not having

26:14enough babies. Like, this is why, ultimately, I understand the idea of, oh, we just

26:19want to be welcoming for everybody.

26:21Obviously, the population collapsed. Japan, Italy, Ireland, I'm sure, when it comes to actual numbers

26:28of babies that Irish women are having, which, by the way, if you went back

26:33to America in the 1880s, if we had said, hey, you know what?

26:37It's going to be an issue one day for Ireland.

26:39They're not going to have enough kids.

26:41A lot of people would have rolled their eyes and said, yeah, you know, the

26:44whole phrase Irish twins, which I don't know if it's offensive or not.

26:48But, you know, it's like you're having babies so close together is is called Irish

26:52twins for a reason. But the population is collapsing.

26:55I bet here's off the top of my head.

26:57I bet the average Irish woman right now, Buck, is having we'll look this up.

27:01I bet they're having one point three five children on average.

27:05And so over generations, we'll look up what the number one point five.

27:10You're close. One point five.

27:11So and and they're going to be a negative, negative.

27:18Territory their population will start contracting in the next 20 years based on the current

27:22trend so this is why they're trying this is the root cause like they may

27:26say oh we want to be welcoming and all these other things they're importing people

27:30who are having far more children which then becomes even more dangerous because in the

27:34future Ireland will be largely not Irish which doesn't seem ideal to me.

27:39See this is this is what the frustration is though and by the way we're

27:42all we all understand right there's a lot of this with America too that you

27:46have people who are overtaxed and overburdened and overregulated and have to deal with all

27:51the nonsense of the government make in this country the cost of housing has gotten

27:55completely outrageous you have to make a hundred percent more to qualify for the same

27:59house you would have five years ago that's insane purely government policy driven and we're

28:04bringing people from all over the world who go on welfare.

28:06So a lot of Americans of all colors of all ethnicities of all backgrounds a

28:11lot of actual American Americans though are saying I can't afford to have kids and

28:16then people show up here who don't actually contribute have five kids and go the

28:20state's going to pay for all my kids.

28:22And that was happening in Europe and it is happening here and people are sick

28:26of it. The number of people out there who if you sit around and think

28:31I can't afford to have kids you are in the minority people who are just

28:36to your to Buck's point who actually can't afford to have kids are the ones

28:40having kids and a lot of people out there who are highly educated and have

28:44resources they don't think they can afford kids.

28:47It's it's it's a major issue and again this is the underlying impetus under which

28:52all of this immigration is happening.

30:01program over the past several weeks about Iran and what the future may hold there

30:07as the American military operation continues and we have taken a lot of calls from

30:12people of Iranian descent who live in the United States now to give us an

30:17idea of what their friends and family back in Iran are saying and what they

30:21think the appropriate outcome is here many different perspectives on that we are excited to

30:27bring in now we are excited to bring in now a man who has a

30:29lot of thoughts on exactly what should happen his name is Shervin Fishfahar advisor to

30:35Iran prosperity project and venture capitalist and let's start with this thank you for coming

30:42on the program. Thank you for having me.

30:44What is the latest you are hearing from friends family connections in Iran about the

30:50on the ground situation and what the average person's life is like inside of that

30:56country right now? Absolutely this is a historic moment for all Iranians what we're hearing

31:04on a daily basis is Iranians are cheering from the balconies as this precision liberation

31:12campaign is proceeding in this kind of second half week we are seeing the drones

31:21coming in and going after the best CG militia that were responsible for killing over

31:2843 ,000 Iranians on January 8th and 9th after President Trump bravely told the Iranian

31:34people to come out in the streets and protest will have your back and the

31:41Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi called everyone to come out on January 8th and they were

31:47massacred and they were massacred and that created a moral contract and the Iranian people

31:52there's many videos of them that posted videos saying this this is going to be

31:58my last post so these Iranians who sacrificed their lives for liberty have more in

32:04common with the American revolutionary fighters who fought for the creation of America and liberty

32:12here that we're so blessed to have than they do with this evil regime so

32:17they're now cheering the Basijis being killed by these drones and they're calling it by

32:27the way popcorn the whole country is calling it that they're watching it and cheering

32:33it they're also playing sounds of drones from their speakers to scare the Basijis so

32:39there's videos of Basijis running from their stations you because they're hearing over the loud

32:44speakers the drone sounds from Iranian citizens who are against them.

32:51They're also reporting the Basiji locations.

32:55So in many ways, the Iranian people are unarmed soldiers in this fight for liberty.

33:03And we have a whole plan that I'll talk about.

33:07The Crown Prince's leadership has been absolutely key.

33:11The Iranian Prosperity Project is a 175 -page plan that goes into detail about the

33:18reconstruction of Iran. We'll talk about that as well.

33:21But on the ground, there is a whole movement of people who are wanting their

33:30freedom, wanting a new Iran, wanting a democracy.

33:35And this plan is in the emergency phase of the plan is to have a

33:40100 -day plan to a referendum for the people to vote on a new form

33:44of government. I also want to say something.

33:48It's the Iranian -Americans like myself who came to America have been so blessed by

33:54America. We would be over there right now suffering.

33:58These poor people for 93 million of them have been in an open -air prison

34:05and extermination camp for 47 years.

34:09And they're just as talented as we are.

34:11There's just a couple million Iranians in America who are blessed to come here.

34:16We've added up the economic impact of those Iranian -Americans.

34:21It's in the trillions of dollars.

34:23People like Dara Khosrowshahi, who joined, I helped, when I was on the board of

34:29Uber and helped build Uber as well, with Travis Kalanick and Emile Micah, I helped

34:34to recruit Emile Micah, who's now the Undersecretary of War for R &D.

34:41And he's leading this whole AI war.

34:44But Iranian -Americans have built companies like Uber, Google, Omid Kordesani, eBay, you know, have

34:50created millions of jobs in America.

34:52Just imagine 93 million of these brilliant Iranians who are trapped there unleashing on the

34:59world. It's going to be the biggest peace and economic dividend that we've seen.

35:05The team at the Iranian Prosperity Project has estimated the economic impact just to America

35:11is over $1 .2 trillion of trade in a free Iran without sanctions and a

35:18democracy would happen between America and Iran.

35:23So the impact is going to be massive.

35:25It's very similar to what happened in Europe after World War II, when you had

35:30Germany, Poland, et cetera, beginning to develop.

35:35So you have basically the kind of Poland -level underinvestment, Germany -level industrial sophistication and

35:41Vietnam -style labor arbitrage available in a near run.

35:47And Shervin, if I could ask you, thank you for being here.

35:50And Shervin is with the, he's an advisor, rather, to the Iran Prosperity Project.

35:56Where are we on getting rid of the tyrants who are already in charge?

36:01It's great to hear that people are happy about the Trump airstrikes.

36:05And I think the plan for a future Iran would be exciting, not just for

36:10people in that country, but for people all over the world because of how much

36:13could be done there. That's fantastic.

36:15But in the meantime, how do we get rid of the mullahs, the IRGC, the

36:20besiege, all of the above?

36:24Absolutely. Look, this is, I call it the Trump doctrine of preemption, and it's powered

36:29by AI. This is the first American AI war.

36:34The precision lethality that we're watching happen over the last couple of weeks is really

36:39stunning. I was talking to a friend of mine who's in the intelligence world and

36:46specifically about this. And the reason why this is important, if you can go 30

36:51,000 feet above just the Iran situation, which, you know, people can be, have different

36:57views on. But above that is this reality of nuclear deterrence is actually not as

37:05important as what's happening now.

37:06We need to deter these evil regimes, these mafia states, from being able to use

37:12the very same technologies that we're all seeing, this precision lethality, these drones, this AI

37:18-powered warfare. If that gets into the hands of of an Iran, if it gets

37:24into the hands of Russia, China, and North Korea, our future in America is at

37:30peril. This is, people don't need nuclear bombs to cause absolute mayhem.

37:36They could use AI to build new viruses that basically assassinate political leaders, take out

37:45the whole Congress and the Senate by building a virus that specifically targets the genes

37:50of individuals. So we're at the dawn of a very scary time.

37:56And this lethality, we have the advantage right now.

38:00But in five years, those types of drones and drone swarms could be coming on

38:04American cities. And so we have to wake up and realize we can't live.

38:10world where you have a terror state that is continuing to try to build not

38:16just nuclear bombs but drones and then shipping those drones to to ukraine and russia

38:22to help the russians it's it's it's a new reality and the reason why trump

38:28has been so visionary as you just played trump was talking about this in 1988

38:33it was prophetic he talked about hard island he talked about uh taking out this

38:39regime back then uh he's had this principle this isn't israel affecting america's policy this

38:47is an american president who's had this vision for a long time of getting rid

38:51of these types of evil regimes that are an absolute existential threat to our american

38:58way of life and freedom this this is a an immune response to a world

39:03that is full of peril if we don't start to wake up and and get

39:08ahead of it and the iran war and liberation is the first i think signal

39:13and venezuela was important and it was very fast and and but the precision of

39:19the iranian war is a signal of what's to come and we have our advantage

39:24right now we have to press it in iran and against other regimes that are

39:29going to use these same technologies on us in the future um a couple of

39:35questions that i'd be curious to get your read on uh and we're talking to

39:38shirvan fishfahar incredibly successful venture capital among many other things uh that he has done

39:43venture capitalist here in the united states what is the impact of saudi arabia the

39:49uae qatar bahrain all these other different places in the middle east that used to

39:55be far smaller and less successful economically uh suddenly becoming far more successful than iran

40:03if you look at relative economic size um and per capita income and that's part

40:10one how much does in other words the neighborhood of the middle east rising up

40:14as iran has been falling down how understand understood is that inside of the the

40:19country of iran and what do you think the percentage is of iranians that support

40:25just the physical overthrow of the government not you know uh in other words what

40:30percentage support the existing power structure kind of take us into the world of the

40:35iranian mind as you see it that's a great question um basically jimmy carter a

40:43peanut farmer from from georgia i think was the worst president in modern history uh

40:50he affected the middle east and the world in america in a way that we're

40:55all suffering uh from that that huge mistake the crown prince's father uh uh muhammad

41:01reza palavi the shah was working on modernizing iran was way ahead of everyone else

41:07at the fourth largest army an economy that was booming uh was modernizing iran and

41:14he allowed these mullahs to come in and and cause absolute mayhem uh in the

41:21middle east in the world they've been our enemy using proxies they've been in the

41:25enemy of israel trying to destroy israel uh and we've been living in a in

41:30a new reality since 1979 for 47 years and the poor iranians have been the

41:36ones that have been the to have to suffer the brunt of it but many

41:40others have also suffered um those countries in the middle east to their credit uh

41:45have advanced uh in the last 25 years i was in dubai in 2001 2002

41:51and there was a smattering of buildings these are basically uh nation states that have

41:58accelerated in the same way in america in the 1950s after world war ii you

42:03know we we we spent unbelievable amounts of our gdp modernizing america and advancing our

42:10economy after world war ii built the interstate highway um and and all of the

42:16defense uh capabilities and then also if you look at putting a man on the

42:21moon in the 1950s those moon shots that was like 250 billion dollars of investment

42:26in those dollars back then it was a significant the courage it took to invest

42:31that kind of capital paid dividends for all of our lives we're all beneficiaries of

42:36that the middle east learned from that and they've invested billions of dollars in qatar

42:41and saudi arabia and uae and have advanced uh you know far ahead now the

42:47reality is everyone thought that they didn't no one expected as president trump said yesterday

42:53they didn't expect to be attacked they you know they weren't attacking iran but 14

42:59nations got attacked by the iranians that shows the insanity of this cult mafia state

43:05the shia islamic mafia state that is like a cult uh that is a terror

43:12organization that's taken over a nation state their insanity is to to to then attack

43:1814 countries uh and so we're in a completely new middle east everything has changed

43:24uh the countries that didn't sign the abraham accords are going to rush to sign

43:28it because you know why they want the iron dome technology they want to be

43:32able to shoot down missiles with with lasers so this kind of uh new we

43:38are is going to reshape the Middle East and our world in a way that

43:43is advantageous to America's national security.

43:46One thing I wrote when I went to Berkeley years ago is in colleges, our

43:51moral security presages our physical security.

43:57If we don't actually take care of these principles and make sure we protect them,

44:02then our physical security will be at risk, like what happened in 9 -11, like

44:07what's happened on 10 -7, like what would have happened if we had allowed this

44:12regime to continue. Larry Johnny was killed.

44:15The news broke out this morning.

44:17Larry Johnny was one of the most evil but highly competent operators in the Islamic

44:22regime. Taking him out was a big, big deal.

44:25Taking out the Supreme Leader Khamenei, who tried to kill my father, who worked for

44:30the Shah, who was head of Radio Intelligence, because he was helping people escape from

44:35the country during the revolution.

44:37This is all, you know, full circle.

44:40These are very evil, evil people.

44:44No one should weep for them.

44:46The hunters have become the hunted, and AI is what has allowed us to be

47:05We are joined now by Lieutenant Colonel Clay Fuller, former district attorney, the Republican nominee

47:10for Georgia 14. That is Marjorie Taylor Greene's former district.

47:16Clay, great name. We appreciate you joining the show.

47:21What should people out there know as Georgia is going to emerge as a major

47:25battleground Senate governors, but also your seat?

47:29What do people need to know about this going forward?

47:33Yeah. First off, there's a Democrat in the race.

47:37This has gone to a runoff, and the person that we're up against for April

47:417th is a Democrat. He's done a really good job of running a race of

47:45not defining himself with any policy positions or with any party.

47:49So our job now is to let the voters of Georgia 14 know that there

47:53is a Democrat in the race that does not represent Northwest Georgia values.

47:57And so we're getting out there and telling the voters about my background.

48:00And obviously, we've been supported by President Trump.

48:03So making sure people understand that they understand they've got a choice between a MAGA

48:09conservative that's supported by President Trump or a radical or the radical left.

48:14Lieutenant Colonel, thanks for being here.

48:17Let's let's just get to it on what do you think about the situation in

48:21the Middle East right now with Iran?

48:22What's your view of it?

48:25Yeah, so I fully support President Trump decimating the Iranian military and all of their

48:30capabilities. Obviously, they're the number one state sponsor of terror in the region.

48:35And, you know, one of the mentors that I've had in my career is General

48:39Dan Raisin -Kane. And he said it's very important that there can be no power

48:44projection at any point from the Iranian regime.

48:47So I fully support President Trump and what he's done in the Middle East and

48:51making sure that the Iranian regime cannot threaten threaten the United States or our neighbors.

48:58You mentioned the race is on April 7th.

49:01I imagine the biggest challenge right now is just making people anders to date.

49:06How about it? that the race is going on, right?

49:08We just had the same issue with a seat to fill in my home district

49:12in the state of Tennessee and Democrats try to steal in and they take advantage

49:16of the fact that Democrat voters tend to be very motivated on these special elections.

49:21And a lot of times Republicans are just busy and don't necessarily know.

49:25So is your biggest battle given the district right now, just making people aware because

49:30it's a non -traditional time to be voting that they need to get out and

49:33get their ballots counted? That's exactly it.

49:37Job number one for us is getting out the vote.

49:39Obviously, it's a difficult time period because April 7th is right after Easter.

49:45Normally, we'd have five days of early voting, but that goes up to Good Friday.

49:49And so we're trying to make sure that voters understand that they need to get

49:53back out after the March 10th primary vote in the runoff year, and they need

49:59to make a plan. The other challenge that we have in a number of counties

50:02in the southern part of the district, they have spring break over that week of

50:06April 7th. So we really are trying to get that message out to every voter

50:10across the district. Please make your plan because we cannot take this for granted.

50:16It would be a tragedy for Georgia 14 if a Democrat won the seat.

50:20It would be a tragedy for the MAGA movement and for President Trump.

50:22So we have to stay motivated because the Democrats are going to do it.

50:25The radical left is going to come out, and we just have to make sure

50:28that we're driving out our voters on April 7th.

50:30If I could ask you, Lieutenant Colonel, I know you're focused on your race as

50:34you should be, and everyone listening and especially everyone who lives in your district is

50:38paying close attention to that.

50:40But you've also got some important things happening on the Senate side in your state.

50:44Just what can you tell us about the political trajectory right now in Georgia?

50:48Where do they stand vis -a -vis the administration?

50:51Are things looking better for Republicans since 2024?

50:55About the same? How would you, because you're obviously very plugged into the numbers and

51:00the sentiment, what's the feel?

51:02What's the vibe right now politically in Georgia?

51:06Yeah, unfortunately, Georgia is going to be the bell of the ball for every election,

51:10it seems like, coming up.

51:11But I think the momentum is on our side, and I think you saw what

51:14we did from an organizing standpoint in 2024 to make sure that we are driving

51:19out the vote. And also, the really important thing, which has been a change not

51:23only in Georgia 14, but across the state on the right, is trying to tell

51:28voters early voting is okay.

51:31Obviously, normally we do so well on election day, but if we can get out

51:34there and bank those votes early, because I don't know if you know much about

51:39Georgia weather. Last week, we were at 70 degrees, and then just yesterday, we had

51:45snow. And so you never know what the weather is going to be like here

51:48in Georgia in the spring.

51:49So if you've got time to go and early vote, go and make that decision

51:54and knock it out. And if we do that, continue to drive out the vote,

51:58because President Trump's policies are resonating in Georgia.

52:01The victory is there, the win is there to send a conservative to the U

52:06.S. Senate. We just have to make sure that we're getting out our voters when

52:09we make that choice. So April 7th, we want to make sure everybody listening in

52:13North Georgia gets outs and votes, but then you'll be back on the ballot in

52:18November. How does this work?

52:19I presume this is to fill out the remaining term of Marjorie Taylor Greene.

52:24So basically, you're going to be running for the rest of this year.

52:27Am I right? That's right, Clay.

52:30I'm in endless campaign season for the rest of my life, it seems like.

52:33So with the way that Marjorie stepped down and created a special election.

52:38And in Georgia, that's a jungle primary.

52:40So that's why the top two vote getters in the March 10th primary, one is

52:45a Democrat. So then that runoff for the special election, which will be to fill

52:50Marjorie Greene's, the rest of Marjorie Greene's seat until the end of December of 2026.

52:56That's April 7th. And then there will be another primary on May 19th.

53:00Obviously, we're hoping to be in that primary as the incumbent.

53:03And then there will be the general election in November of this year.

53:08So we've got elections coming up.

53:10So yes, sir. Yeah. May 19th, you mentioned.

53:12Okay. So I want everybody to go vote for Clay Fuller.

53:15Easy name to remember here.

53:17If you listen to this show on April 7th, I want you guys to go

53:21get it to vote for him.

53:22But then May 19th, almost immediately we're flipping.

53:25We've got a hugely competitive Republican ticket and Democrat ticket, as Buck mentioned, in a

53:32state that is very much the center battleground state.

53:36What is the expectation for turnout in that primary?

53:39I know you got a contested decision on who the governor should be and the

53:44nominee for Republicans and Democrats as well, but also the Senate race.

53:49I mean, the amount of money that's going to be spent in Georgia is going

53:52to be off the charts.

53:54It really is. And the big concern for me in my race is making sure

53:58we don't hit voter fatigue.

54:01But we know voters in Georgia 14 and across the state of Georgia care about

54:06who's going to lead them.

54:07They care about the policies of getting regulations off their back, taxes off their back.

54:12They just want it to be the free state of Georgia.

54:15So they're going to be very concerned about getting the right people in there.

54:18And I think they're going to be voting red both in May and then in

54:22November as well. So I think we're not going to have a problem as long

54:25as we continue to turn out the voters.
