0:30The Trump regime continues to use the alleged White House Correspondents Dinner incident to push

0:37for a golden ballroom that they now want the taxpayers to pay for.

0:43They immediately started pitching and pushing that message quite literally within minutes of the alleged

0:50incident when they were seen laughing with each other and acting like it was the

0:55funniest thing ever, like they were having a grand old time with the press.

1:00You can see them smirking, laughing.

1:03They brought the party after the incident to the White House.

1:07Very, very bizarre and suspicious behavior.

1:10They've also been talking about banning no kings protests and they continue to attack the

1:16press. Donald Trump has somehow tied this into an attack on Jimmy Kimmel and that

1:22Jimmy Kimmel is to blame for the incident because he did a joke about Melania

1:28and then that's what caused the incident.

1:30So Jimmy Kimmel needs to be fired and this is why Republicans need to win

1:35the midterms. They push that message within seconds after this alleged incident.

1:41And by the way, with the complicit press who was all in that room and

1:46they were saying, how unifying is Donald Trump?

1:49He acted like a true leader.

1:52We all deserve to rally around.

1:54We all deserve this. We should rally around him.

1:57And we at the Midas Touch Network held our ground, called out the truth, pushed

2:02back, and continued to fight back against the lies and all of this gaslighting because

2:07the truth remains his approval right now is worse than Nixon at the time Nixon

2:13resigned. Donald Trump likes to talk about Carter or Biden or George W.

2:20Bush, but Donald Trump's approval across the board and on the economy far worse than

2:26any of those former presidents.

2:28Yet the compliant media, the corporate sycophants, the corporate media sycophants try to push this

2:34guy like he's like the most popular guy ever.

2:37They love him. It's weird.

2:39And the American people are absolutely pissed at it.

2:42Remember when they were pushing on Friday that there was going to be a big

2:46meeting over the weekend between Whitcoff and Kushner, who, why the hell do they have

2:51anything to do with our country?

2:52And by the way, they're all financially involved in all of this as well.

2:56But they had a big meeting in Pakistan and it was going to be with

2:59Iran's foreign minister, Aragchi, and Pakistan was going to be mediating it.

3:04And we were saying on the Midas Touch Network, lie, market manipulation, not true at

3:09all. It's not happening. Foreign minister, Aragchi, he's doing a three -day tour.

3:14He's going first to Pakistan and then to Oman.

3:18And then he's going to Russia to meet with Putin.

3:21And they've made clear they're not meeting with Donald Trump and the Trump regime.

3:25And then Donald Trump's like, nope, they're...

3:27absolutely meeting with us. We're sending our people.

3:30We're dealing with real good people over there in Iran right now.

3:34And then on Saturday, Donald Trump's like, I'm canceling it.

3:38I don't want to do it.

3:39Iran sent us a proposal.

3:41I didn't like it. So I told my people we're too busy.

3:44Don't go. And in fact, guess what, everybody?

3:47Iran is going to blow up in the next three days.

3:50What do you mean blow up?

3:51It's going to all be destroyed.

3:53How is it going to be destroyed?

3:54You see their oil pipelines are getting congested and they don't have a pressure valve.

4:02So because of the naval blockade, the pipeline, it's filling up with all of this

4:07oil and it's about to explode and the whole country is going to be destroyed

4:11in 72 hours. It's like, Donald, it doesn't work like that.

4:15Yes, it does. So that's what they're pushing now, that the whole nation of Iran

4:18is going to be destroyed because there's nowhere to put their oil.

4:22It's the most ridiculous thing.

4:24But I'll tell you what's actually happening.

4:25The Iranian foreign minister is meeting right now with Vladimir Putin in Russia.

4:31And they're out there just saying, we're cooperating.

4:34We're top allies. We're coordinating everything together.

4:38I mean, the statements out are, we've done everything together in the war.

4:42We'll continue to work together.

4:43They're not hiding what's taking place right now.

4:46They've supported us. Our cooperation is paramount.

4:49But I bet you, you're not hearing that on corporate news here in the United

4:53States, but I guess who's even watching corporate news anymore.

4:56Speaking about the Midas Touch Network fighting back against lies and disinformation, Katie Fang, Midas

5:02Touch host, launched a lawsuit against the Trump regime demanding the release of the Epstein

5:08files. It's one of the first of its kind lawsuits alleging violations of the Epstein

5:13Transparency Act. And she says that she has standing as a journalist with the Midas

5:18Touch Network to bring our viewers, her viewers, the truth, and that this is being

5:23prevented by the Trump regime's failure to comply with the Epstein Transparency Act, their violation

5:29of the law. So ain't just talking the talk here on the network, walking the

5:33walk. And Katie Fang is a superstar, and she's going to fight to get those

5:37files. So shout out to her.

5:39And we're going to talk about how MAGA Republican sycophants are out there using this

5:45White House Correspondents Dinner incident also to push their agendas.

6:34The fact that they're still doing this in the year 2026 makes me want to

7:29brain rot from these legacy outlets i won't do it right here but ben let

7:36you know a lot of people have asked me ben talk about how you're covering

7:40what happened at the white house correspondence dinner and i just said just think about

7:45it this way whatever happened or didn't happen why don't we just look at what

7:52the trump regime did right afterwards right how did they behave right after and did

7:59they behave with the seriousness with the demeanor with the type of conduct that you

8:07would expect in a serious solemn situation or did they behave like deranged political animals

8:17did they almost seem giddy and happy and laughing like they were in on a

8:24private joke how was their objective behavior afterwards were they serious or were they a

8:32bunch of jesters and i think you look and evaluate their conduct and you can

8:38come to the conclusion well if they ain't taking it serious if they're using it

8:42to immediately push political narratives to attack democrats to attack kimmel to attack the left

8:50to say that taxpayers need to pay for golden ballrooms demanding literally within minutes of

8:56the incident that the national trust for the preservation of dc that filed the lawsuit

9:01to block the ballroom which has prevailed that they now immediately dismiss the case the

9:08trump regime was in court like within hours of the incident happening saying you see

9:13judge they had a letter out to the lawyer for the nationalists within minutes almost

9:18of the incident saying look now you need to withdraw your lawsuit right away folks

9:23that's not normal behavior and then donald trump's like and uh that's why these no

9:29kings protests need to stop and that's why we need to pass legislation to ensure

9:35voter id in election that's why we need republicans to win the midterm so when

9:41they behave that way i don't think that aspect is in dispute and so you

9:48have them doing that and then you had corporate news acting like somebody got killed

9:54they acted like somebody like literally died i mean this was the most solemn incident

10:00and could you believe it and then he called the press conference afterwards and he

10:05united us and he didn't say anything negative about us i mean the more we

10:09learn about this the guy barely breached the first layer of the uh secret service

10:15security he was basically tackled right away the trump regime refuses to say if the

10:22guy even was the person who shot at the agents that were there and when

10:29asked a very basic question i'll show you in a little bit todd blanche was

10:33like we're still investigating that there's still an ongoing investigation about what really happened there

10:38or what didn't happen there okay and it should be viewed as a serious participant

10:43now they'd have the trump regime, you know, dealt with it at all.

10:46It wasn't even on the same floor really of where the actual, uh, white house

10:51correspondence dinner itself was taking place.

10:54But then you had the media like, Oh, we need to unite around him right

10:57now. Don't you think the Democrats need to take down that tone, right?

11:01You had Dana bash saying to Jamie Raskin, don't you think you need to take

11:05down the tone a little bit?

11:06Need the Democrats to take down the tone for criticizing Donald Trump's threats to like

11:11kill people, sending border patrol and ice Gestapo to literally kill, kidnap and throw people

11:17into concentration camps while the Trump regime's covering up child sex trafficking rings.

11:22You want Democrats to tone it down for calling out that behavior.

11:27That's what, that's your lesson out of this.

11:29I mean, Brett and Jordi, to your point, when we talk about like the media

11:33talking about tone change, Brian Stelter literally said Trump's calm, respectful tone toward the press

11:40on Saturday night was newsworthy because it was unusual.

11:44He said, uh, then he, then he goes, I purposefully did not lead today's newsletter

11:49with Trump's latest bid of media criticism because it's not novel or surprising.

11:54So Donald Trump posting all of these attacks at the media, I don't lead with

11:58that. However, because of his new tone shift, that was newsworthy.

12:03And by the way, the whole media was pushing this.

12:06Here's what Stelter said on TV after this alleged incident.

12:10Let's play this clip. You know, a couple of minutes before this happened, I was

12:13with house speaker, Mike Johnson, I shook Johnson's hand.

12:16I was talking to him.

12:17And then I was walking across the ballroom, Victor, kind of taking the long way

12:21toward the CNN tables because I wanted to see some of my friends and some

12:24of my sources. Uh, and so I ended up on the ground next to a

12:27executive from Comcast, uh, some people from NBC.

12:31And in that moment, you know, there was a lot of unity and I'm thankful

12:34that president Trump, uh, talked about that unity last night and did not try to

12:38heighten the tensions or escalate the situation.

12:41He could have very easily gone out there and bashed the press last night and

12:44blamed the media for attracting, uh, this, uh, suspect to the ballroom.

12:49But instead he basically said, we're all in this together.

12:52And that's certainly true. And that's how it feels this morning as well.

12:54Well, within moments of you saying that he started bashing the press and blaming the

12:59press for it and blaming Kimmel.

13:01And there was no actual hesitation.

13:03Donald Trump's mouthpieces were out there saying that pretty much right after the event, but

13:08I want to toss it to you and Brett because I know you have strong

13:10views that I just want to point out other things that he said right there.

13:13He's like, I was talking to Mike Johnson and then I left Mike Johnson.

13:18And then I saw a lot of my sources over there because it is incestuous.

13:22All of the sources are my white house source, my this or my that.

13:26And then I walked past the Comcast executives.

13:29Okay. Now you talk about all of your right wing oligarch buds.

13:32And that's when I realized the whole journey right there that he described is exactly

13:38why people are fed up with the corporate news that live that whole arc leading

13:43to his conclusion that Donald Trump showed unity is everything why people are like, I

13:49ain't watching this. And frankly, it's why people are watching Midas Dutch network and independent

13:53news. It is so true.

13:55And you know, that's why that event to me, like if I were ever invited

13:59to the white house correspondence dinner to be around those people, I would say no

14:04in a heartbeat. There's no reason to go to that.

14:06And it really is just the epitome of kind of access journalism and people wanting

14:10to be partying with the people from the Trump administration and all these oligarchs and

14:15be doing all these things.

14:16It pollutes your ability to actually report on these people objectively and you end up

14:22vomiting. things like what Brian Stelter was saying.

14:25And I just got like, all that just makes me so sick, whether it's Caroline

14:28Levitt saying it, whether it's whatever Republican hack of the week or the day or

14:33the hour is coming up and saying all this stuff about the new tone and

14:36Democrats need to turn down the temperature.

14:38It's like, listen, Donald Trump is the president of the United States.

14:41Okay. You've lost all moral high ground.

14:43You're talking about the guy who, when Rob Reiner was brutally murdered, immediately went to

14:49his social media app, basically said, too bad.

14:52So sad. He had Trump derangement syndrome.

14:55He had what was coming.

14:56Robert Mueller died recently. Robert Mueller, an American war hero.

15:00What did Donald Trump say?

15:01He said something like, good.

15:02I'm glad he's dead. He was just overtly gleeful about it.

15:06You could go back to Paul Pelosi.

15:08I mean, there are like hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of examples.

15:12Trump on the campaign trail would call Democrats vermin, the enemy within, radical left, lunatics,

15:18scum, like do all these things.

15:20And the second that people actually speak out against that, they try to say, stop

15:25the hate speak. You're not allowed to tell them to do that.

15:27And I just want to be clear about what this all is, because it's nothing

15:31about, you know, it's nothing about tone or morality or be nice because Donald Trump

15:38does this every freaking second.

15:39This is one goal in mind.

15:41And that goal is to silence you.

15:43That goal is to say, don't criticize Donald Trump.

15:46Don't criticize us, or we are going to take revenge against you.

15:52This is an effort to silence you and we will not be silenced.

15:56And it's one of the reasons why, frankly, I'm happy to not live in Washington,

16:00DC. I like Washington, DC as a city.

16:02I like going there, like visiting, but it's, but I don't like that DC kind

16:07of capital insider group think that so exists there.

16:10It's so toxic to me.

16:12It's so humiliating. Here's the thing.

16:15These legacy reporters like manufacturing, like this sense of danger to validate their own self

16:21-importance, this main character syndrome that we see on display.

16:24It's exactly the reason why so many people are just fed up with corporate media.

16:29It's the height of narcissism.

16:31Like you literally had some reporters taking selfie style videos as they were in quote

16:37unquote danger, right? Others wrote these grandiose reflection pieces less than a few hours later

16:43of their own harrowing experience.

16:45And some were in tears talking about the trauma that they felt.

16:48And look, I could sympathize that in the moment, in the chaos, unsure of what's

16:52going on, you see the secret service pulling the president and it's chaos.

16:55I could see how that could be a scary situation.

16:57Okay. I agree with that.

16:59But that said, once you get all of the facts of the situation, you're left

17:04with no other thought. Then honestly, the reactions post event have just been humiliating.

17:09Like this DC bubble is very much a real thing, Brett, to your point.

17:14I'm so glad we don't actually like live there.

17:16And it was just on full display this weekend.

17:18They have somehow managed to treat like this distant trespasser as a national tragedy and

17:25watching these insiders and elites melt down over this while also simultaneously moving on from

17:31news cycles about like school shootings within 48 hours.

17:34It's the height of hypocrisy for me.

17:36And I know it's a tough pill for some of the people who work at

17:39these legacy outlets to swallow, but people want the news, right?

17:43Like they want factual reporting.

17:45They want data. They aren't tuning in because they love your celebrity.

17:50Like just stop. Like the self -important wannabe celebrity, holier than thou persona.

17:55It's just so exhausting for me.

17:58And listen, I said this to you guys yesterday.

18:00I said this to you guys yesterday.

18:01But I think one of the issues that we see on a daily basis with

18:04the Trump administration is they're weird about everything.

18:07They are weird about everything.

18:09They cannot tell the truth about a single thing.

18:11And so when people start doubting every single thing that they see and hear coming

18:15out of this White House, it's kind of easy to see why.

18:18Ben brought up the ballroom.

18:19Suddenly, this is like the new national priority.

18:22It's almost as if, like, these people, like, they replaced, they did, like, an iPhone

18:25update or something, and now they're just like ballroom, ballroom, ballroom, ballroom.

18:28It's weird. Like, it's freaking weird.

18:30It's tone deaf. It's disconnected from what people care about.

18:34It's disconnected from reality. And this is the pattern we see with everything the Trump

18:38administration does. They are weird about everything, and they can never just tell the truth,

18:43even if it's something basic.

18:45Like, Trump was asked in 60 Minutes, you know, what happened when you fell?

18:49And he denied falling. It's like, dude, just why are you denying falling?

18:52We all saw the footage.

18:54Just be normal. Stop being weird.

18:56Just be honest with the American people.

18:58And these lies are damaging for this exact reason.

19:02And it's not just those specific lies, but the aggregate of the lies that we

19:06see. Because every time these people open their mouth, whether it's Donald Trump or Caroline

19:10Leavitt or Jeanine Pirro, you name it, they erode trust by the American public that

19:15much more until the American people don't believe anything.

19:19You could go to any example.

19:21You could go to Alex Preddy with ICE.

19:23Federal agents shoot him and kill him.

19:25And you have Kristi Noem come out and call him a domestic terrorist.

19:28And then we see the footage, and we see what actually happened.

19:30That's happened multiple times with ICE already.

19:33They've lied multiple times. We've seen the footage.

19:36We've seen the truth about what actually happened.

19:38We see it with the example that Ben brought up earlier with Iran.

19:41Donald Trump making up these fake negotiations that are going to happen, then being called

19:46out on the lies, then having to double down with some sort of other lies,

19:50like a Russian nesting doll of lies.

19:53Donald Trump lies about everything.

19:55So when you see something like this happen, I don't blame people, quite frankly, for

20:01going, is this real? Is this fake?

20:04Because this administration has kind of programmed people to just assume that everything is false.

20:10And I think that is what is damaging.

20:13And I think it speaks to the complete lack of credibility that this administration has.

20:18And I just want to say this real quick too, Brett, that iPhone update line,

20:21like that's so brilliant because you're so right.

20:22They went from like all these MAGA lemmings went from build the wall and now

20:27they're chanting, build the ballroom.

20:29I mean, it's just so humiliating.

20:31Like they're like, go oligarchs, go build your ballroom.

20:34We don't care about the wall anymore.

20:37And now it's taxpayers need to pay for the ballroom.

20:41That's where it needs to come from.

20:43Not these so -called private donors and what the hell was even is this.

20:46It should be in the DHS supplemental that we all need to pay for the

20:52golden ballroom. You know, then there was, you know, speaking of the Nora O'Donnell interview,

20:57she read the purported manifesto from the purported shooter, the alleged shooter called Thomas Allen,

21:06where he was describing how he needs to stop, you know, pedos and horrible people.

21:12And she just read it.

21:13She just said in his manifesto, he wrote, I'm no longer willing to permit a

21:18pedo rapist and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.

21:22What's your reaction? And Trump goes, I was waiting for you to read that because

21:26I knew you would, because you're horrible people.

21:28I'm not a rapist. I didn't rape anyone.

21:31I'm not a pedophile. The Nora O'Donnell kind of chimes in and she goes, oh,

21:35you thought he was talking about you?

21:37And he's like, and then Trump's like, listen, I didn't rape.

21:39I didn't rape. anyone i'm not a pedophile excuse me excuse me you read that

21:44crap from a sick person i was totally exonerated you should be ashamed of yourself

21:49reading that you're a disgrace now what she should have done after that i like

21:54that she said you think he's talking about you i like that part when she

21:57said i i gotta say it was a it was a softball interview overall and

22:00very cringe -worthy for the most part but she kind of made it up for

22:03me personally when she said oh wait you think he was talking about you with

22:08that like like trump had to admit that portion of it which was uh you

22:13know i would say a good part no i mean i think as a journalist

22:17though if you're in that room you should point out what do you what are

22:19you saying you're exonerated from what are you saying you're going to just to flesh

22:24that out a little bit oh weren't you found civilly liable for sexual assault so

22:28aren't you a sexual predator based on being found civilly liable for second aren't you

22:33on audio in video saying that you grab women by their genitals because you're rich

22:38and you get away with it don't you say that you inspect their girls in

22:41the beauty pageants because you own the shows and you get away with it i

22:44mean i get that's not necessarily the topic but if he's going there you can

22:48maybe ask a follow -up but what she ended up doing afterwards she goes i

22:51just want to let you know on behalf of the white house correspondents association thank

22:56you mr president we were grateful for your leadership it's like what he just called

23:01you a despicable person and said that you're horrible and and you follow up with

23:05that i mean there was other weird moments in that as well brett to your

23:09point when donald trump's like i never fell when they wanted to evacuate the room

23:13they told me get down on the ground so i went on the ground to

23:17listen to their instruction but then you go from you know one regime media cbs

23:22new state regime media to older state regime media which calls itself fox and you

23:27had jackie heinrich do this interview with donald trump it's like a media tour on

23:32all of this and she and there are all the corporate news people like are

23:35saying the exact same line i don't need to show you norah o'donnell's line because

23:39jackie heinrich and norah like literally read from that same script you know that uh

23:43what was that the sinclair script that you saw all of the local affiliates read

23:47that you know read at the same time it's basically a version of that right

23:51where they were they're like thank you mr president we are so grateful for everything

23:54that you've done without you we don't know what the white house correspondence dinner would

23:57be it's like dude you're talking to someone with 33 approval like far worse than

24:02biden far worse than anybody he's least popular less popular than nixon when nixon resigned

24:44the the country um the strength to not let those who wish to harm us

25:12i saw the other side of that uh like i can't believe she would you

25:15know this is such a softball interview what's going on i'm kind given that camp

25:19right like part of me i could understand okay norah you're interviewing him you have

25:23you know subjects to sort of hit on and you just kind of have to

25:26take it in stride as you're going to make sure you hit all these topics

25:29he's hurling insults at your face to you and we're all here supposed to champion

25:35free speech and celebrate him like he's some sort of like national global hero who

25:41champions free speech and meanwhile he hates you like he hates you i'm not saying

25:47this to be hyperbolic he hates you and he hates anyone that actually wants to

25:52report accurate information so for me the reason i fall into that ladder camp is

25:56because ben to your point you have to be ready for a follow -up question

25:59actually the court's found you guilty so what's going on here actually you're lying right

26:04now so what don't just use your platform because you're a serious reporter at least

26:09you you like you liken yourself how about this 60 minutes hold on 60 minutes

26:13is like uh supposed to be at its best what it was was supposed to

26:18be this like very serious program of course the way that entire direction of that

26:22network and that program is crumbling is really just uh it is so horrific for

26:28this country that that's where it's falling that they could just be used as mouthpieces

26:31for the press deposit to brett the court found civilly liable yes bro yeah and

26:35we um you know we're talking about access access journalism and the issues with access

26:39journalism i mean you're praising a guy for coming to your soiree you're praising a

26:43guy for coming to your party that that that's what you're doing right now as

26:48that same individual kicks all the press out of the pentagon as calling on all

26:52these bullshit outlets that aren't real news sources i mean he's destroying your jobs he's

26:57destroying your livelihood he's destroying the free press and you're thanking him because he came

27:01to your party oh and he's never come before this has been a tradition for

27:05a long time it's the first time he came and this time he came uh

28:10make sense the ballroom has nothing to do with this event they're completely different thoughts

28:15they're completely different things and the fact that they deflect and go to that and

28:19all this stuff it just makes you think like all this is really freaking weird

29:03think, are they're no longer post Trump's unlawful and catastrophic war and invasion of Iran

29:11with Netanyahu. Like people are done with this guy, like they're done with them.

29:15I mean, you saw the report today that NATO is really doesn't want to even

29:20do any meetings anymore for the rest of Donald Trump's term.

38:30which is more than a lot of countries have in a nuclear arsenal.

38:32Now, do you think, based on Trump's behavior, they're going to be more likely or

38:37less likely to actually enrich the uranium into weapons?

38:41Great. Anyway, I digress there.

38:43But don't you see that this is a path that likely leads to Iran getting

38:47nuclear weapons just like Kim Jong Un?

38:49We'll talk about that in a moment.

38:50But there used to be a time where there'd be a national tragedy or a

38:53big situation or whatever, an incident, and we would just rally around as Americans.

38:57That was just like a normal thing.

39:00And I'm not saying this because I hate Trump or this or that.

39:03I'm saying it because it's an objective fact.

39:06Trump and that bridge with that Tea Party during Obama into Trump, with that whole

39:15movement, it's been everything is a thing.

39:18That's the source. That everything then became some political thing.

39:23You blame the Democrats. You blame this.

39:25You blame that. Everything is a culture war.

39:27Everything is a thing. You remember during Biden's term, they would make up terrorist attacks

39:32that wouldn't take place. It'd be like some incident at the border of Canada, you

39:38know, and there would be like someone who was like coming home from a casino.

39:41And like, I forget if there was like, you know, what the issue was, but

39:45someone like crashed into like a barrier in the border and then all right wing

39:50pushed out like these like.

39:52photos of like jihadist terrorist faces.

39:55They're like massive terrorist attack.

39:57Look how weak Biden is.

39:58They made up the thing and they went like two days on that.

40:02It was like a terrorist attack and Biden's weak.

40:04Every day they would do something like that, right?

40:06Like, and I, you know, I think back towards the end of Biden's term, remember

40:09like there were aliens in New Jersey and Biden wasn't telling you the truth about

40:12the aliens in New Jersey.

40:14And all of a sudden that just magically went away.

40:19thing. And I think of one thing that, you know, these ballroom stories allow us

40:25to do here is point out to you this kind of flood the zone method

40:30of how they try to change the narrative, because you see it happening before your

40:34eyes. If you were on social media the other day, within minutes, within minutes of

40:39this happening, dozens and dozens, if not hundreds of MAGA aligned accounts were all tweeting

40:45the same exact thing. This is why we need to build the ballroom.

40:49Now we got to build the ballroom.

40:50If only the Democrats built the ballroom, ballroom, ballroom, ballroom.

40:53You think that's coincidence? It's not.

40:55We even learned from some MAGA influencers who have kind of left the MAGA cult

40:59and now expose the MAGA cult and speak about it.

41:02We've learned how these MAGA influencers have these group chats with each other, with people

41:08from the Trump administration in the chats who dictate their messaging, who tell them what

41:12to write, who tell them what to push out.

41:14And that's why we see all at the same time, all of these people doing

41:18it. You know, they have this with the influencers.

41:20They definitely also have these chats in other forms with the politicians, with the senators,

41:25with the members of Congress, and they are having them also push out that same

41:28messaging. And then they're getting them on the Sunday shows to say the same messaging.

41:32It's not a coincidence. Everyone just didn't wake up one day and have a thought,

41:35oh, I need a ballroom now.

41:36I need a ballroom. No, it's a coordinated process.

41:40And all we want to do is get the objective damn facts about what is

41:45actually going on and stop with the gaslighting, stop with the lies, stop with the

41:50distraction. People are suffering. People want you to help them.

41:54They don't want a freaking ballroom.

41:57Yeah. And just whose mind when an alleged incident like this happens goes, okay, now

42:05I can get the ballroom, like a sick person, right?

42:48the solution for all of this clearly.

42:50The way we deal with this is a ballroom.

42:53What? The way we deal with it is a golden ballroom.

42:55What are you, what are you talking about?

42:57Here, play this clip. On the opposite, they've, they've incited violence in my view.

43:00I mean, you have, uh, some of the, the most prominent figures in the house

43:04and the Senate on the Democrat side, uh, effectively, you know, calling for, for, uh,

43:09for war. I mean, they use that cut those kinds of metaphors and it incites

43:13violence because there are crazy people in society and, um, they get radicalized online.

43:18And so we've got to recognize that it's time to turn down the rhetoric.

43:21We've been saying this over and over and not use that kind of language.

43:25Uh, I hope that this will be a sobering reminder for everybody about that very

43:28important cause. I'm grateful to Fetterman.

43:35most secure compound in the world.

43:36It won't have hotel rooms above it and it'll have seven inch thick glass, for

43:40example, on the windows. So it'll be a very safe environment to do events like

44:44this. No, no, no one's asking for a golden ballroom.

44:56If the U .S. wanted to build golden palaces, we could do that.

45:00But the point is, is that here you have the people's house, not the Trump

45:11You had MAGA Republican Congress member Michael Rowley.

45:14Here's what he said. What needs to be done now?

45:16But I think we got to build that ballroom as soon as possible.

45:19We can't have functions like this on things that aren't secure.

45:25He said the following, let's play this clip.

45:28Certainly the White House ballroom is a great argument.

45:31It's something that they can completely control.

45:33They can have events there.

46:59it. And the thing with MAGA specifically is they get duped because of the trillion

47:17in trump's first term and then in biden's term it was all about you know

48:54they do to kind of make the reflecting pool look dirty and then on the

48:59photo next to it it says trump so one says hussein obama and the reflecting

49:04pool is dirty the other when you actually analyze it it's the exact same photo

49:09because you can see the birds in the same place the clouds are in the

49:12same location and it doesn't have the ai that makes it look dirty he goes

49:16trump like there are things like just that in a normal presidency you would say

49:22this guy needs to go that would be a front page story like could you

49:26imagine if former president biden made a post like just like that and did nothing

49:33else there the uproar would be the biggest story for for two weeks and probably

49:38calls for resignation i mean trump does as i've said probably 20 to 30 in

49:44my opinion impeachable things many of which in my opinion i'm just giving you my

49:48opinion protected by the first amendment of the united states constitution feel free to agree

49:52or disagree with my opinions here i think by you know noon he commits you

49:57know like multiple criminal conduct like every single day and then it's just like oh

50:07so why even publish it if he just keeps on criming it's not even newsworthy

50:52was asked about Caroline Levitt's presser.

50:55I don't want to even play her presser.

50:59we need to play it.

50:59But she was basically saying Hakeem Jeffries has used the words multi, we want to

51:06do warfare everywhere all the time.

51:09And Hakeem Jeffries was talking about fighting for redistricting.

51:12It's like, that's a violent rhetoric.

51:14That's what led to this.

51:15And then she's like, Governor Shapiro used language like heads should roll, you know, regarding

51:22the corruption in the Trump regime.

51:24Heads should roll, maximum warfare.

51:27They're calling for this. Look at the rhetoric.

51:30And it's like, you're taking it out of context what's being said, whereas Donald Trump's

51:35out there just outright calling for violence every single day, in my opinion.

51:39But watch what Hakeem Jeffries does when he's asked.

51:41So do you think you should tone it down a little bit?

51:44He has a really good response.

51:45Let's play it. Mr. Leader, I know you said you stand by your comments.

51:49At the same time, you have been the subject of threats as well.

51:54So with respect to this comment about maximum warfare, even if it's about redistricting, why

51:59not tone down the language here in this moment?

52:03I think that what's interesting to me, as you pointed out, is that the so

52:09-called White House press secretary, who's a disgrace, she's a stone -cold liar, had the

52:15nerve to stand up there and read talking points, being critical of statements, all taken

52:22out of context, that Democrats have made and didn't have a word to say about

52:29anything that MAGA extremists have said or done, including providing aid and comfort to violent

52:36insurrectionists here at this Capitol on January 6th, who brutally beat police officers.

52:43The president then pardoned those violent rioters, many of whom have gone back into communities

52:53across the country to re -offend.

52:56And as you pointed out, one of whom threatened to kill me.

53:02He said, kill the terrorist.

53:04Where did that language come from?

53:06What Republicans use that language?

53:09Why did that pardon, MAGA extremist, violent insurrectionists choose to use the language of terrorism

53:17directed at me when he threatened to kill me at an event?

53:21And so how can we take them seriously when they raise these partisan attacks and

53:31completely ignore the fact that a lot of folks, including Governor Shapiro, his home was

53:40attacked by an arsonist when he and his kids and wife were there?

53:46And his so -called White House press secretary wants to lecture America and lecture us

53:52about civility. Get lost. Clean up your own house before you have anything to say

53:59to us about the language that we use.

54:02Yeah. And I think that's the energy right there that needs to be had, regardless

1:01:56And Lindsey Graham's out there saying, now the taxpayers need to pay for the ballroom.

1:02:04We're going to introduce legislation that would authorize $400 million to be spent to secure,

1:02:13to build the presidential ballroom.

1:02:15Underneath, there will be a lot of military stuff.

1:02:18There will be a Secret Service annex.

1:02:22And we've paid for it by offsetting it with custom fees.

1:02:26But the estimate is $332 million.

1:02:29We're going to do $400 million, because I think it's probably going to take more.

1:02:33Private donations can be used, but I think they should be used for buying China

1:02:38and stuff like that. Underneath this ballroom will be infrastructure that is national security -centric.

1:02:45The ballroom itself will avoid the dilemma of having to leave the White House grounds

1:02:51with future presidents and dispresidents to go downtown and a place that's less secure.

1:02:57President Trump said to me this morning, excuse me, yesterday, we need the ballroom not

1:03:04just for me, but for future presidents.

1:03:06He literally could have left his bedroom, walked out the back of the White House,

1:03:12and been at the ballroom.

1:03:14That's what needs to happen when you have 1 ,000 or 2 ,000 people gathered

1:03:19in a day's environment. And the sooner we get the ballroom built, the more hardened

1:03:26it is, the better for the country.

1:03:30So I hope and pray that most people in the Senate, after Saturday night, will

1:03:36support this bill. Doesn't that tell you everything right there?

1:03:39We told you from the beginning that you were going to be paying for this

1:03:42stupid ballroom, right? When they were saying, oh, it's paid for, it's fully paid for,

1:03:46donors are paying for it, da -da -da -da -da.

1:03:48They got these, quote -unquote, commitments from donors that's obviously going to cost a lot,

1:03:52even if donors did cover it.

1:03:54First off, I think that's so incredibly corrupt, given Donald Trump's deals with these companies

1:03:59and his - Yeah, just call the commitments what they are.

1:04:01They're bribes. They're bribes from other oligarchs.

1:04:04They're bribes. Yes, Jordy, you're right.

1:04:07They're bribes, and the money hasn't even materialized, and now they're begging the American people

1:04:11for the money. The ballroom is just another example of all of this crap out

1:04:16of the Trump administration, where they really, in a very offensive way, don't give an

1:04:21F about the American people.

1:04:22They don't care what you think, because to me, if I just say, okay, he

1:04:28wants a ballroom, sell it to the American people.

1:04:31Don't just knock down the East Wing and say we're building a ballroom.

1:04:34Try to do it the right way, right?

1:04:36Try to explain why you need it.

1:04:38You got the super secret national security bunker or whatever the hell you're building underneath

1:04:43the ballroom, and so you need this ballroom so Donald Trump could party about.

1:04:46I don't know what it is, but sell it to the American people.

1:04:50Try to make the case for it.

1:04:52Try to explain why you need it, and then you control every branch of the

1:04:56government. You're in charge of the Congress, of the Senate.

1:04:59You control the courts. You control the executive branch, so just pass the piece of

1:05:03legislation then. I don't understand this.

1:05:06Let's knock down the thing, and then let's all of a sudden just say we're

1:05:09building a ballroom. That's not going to get anybody on your side.

1:05:12It's exactly basically what he did with Iran, right?

1:05:15He didn't try to sell the American people on the Iran war.

1:05:18He just bombed them one day and then expected us to – go along with

1:05:22it, expected all the European countries to go along with it.

1:05:25Like, try to communicate with the American people.

1:05:27You have the press, going back to the press this episode, they praise him for,

1:05:31oh, he calls me, picks up my phone calls.

1:05:33I call him and he picks up.

1:05:35But yeah, then he just fucking lies to you.

1:05:37Excuse my link. He lies to you.

1:05:39He says things that aren't true.

1:05:41How is that helpful? And then you were just regurgitated as if it's fact.

1:05:45You just regurgitated like you are a stenographer.

1:05:48Your job isn't to be a stenographer.

1:05:50And don't get confused and think that getting more contact with Donald Trump or more

1:05:56information from Donald Trump, don't think that that means you're getting better information.

1:06:01I can assure you, I know that President Biden did not speak to the press

1:06:04as much as Donald Trump.

1:06:05Maybe he didn't take your calls as much, didn't call you personally, text you, whatever.

1:06:09But I can guarantee the words coming out of his mouth actually meant something.

1:06:12Unlike this guy where his words mean crap.

1:06:16His words mean absolutely nothing.

1:06:20Yet you just fawn over it because this guy is speaking to you like enough

1:06:23is enough, man. Well, to your point, Brett, let's take a look at what Germany's

1:06:27chancellor, Friedrich Merz, had to say when he was talking about the lack of planning

1:06:33here. And that there's two clips I want to show you.

1:06:36The first one is in the elementary school where he says, you know, Trump's been

1:06:40absolutely humiliated. The US has been humiliated because there wasn't a plan and Iran has

1:06:45a plan. And Iran, you know, he said is in a very sophisticated way handling

1:06:50negotiations or not handling negotiations, but they're very intentional what they're doing while Trump isn't.

1:06:58Here, play this clip. It is quite obvious that the Americans have absolutely no coherent

1:07:05strategy whatsoever. And the fundamental problem with these kinds of conflicts is always the same.

1:07:10It is not enough to simply get yourself in.

1:07:12You must also figure out how to get yourself out again.

1:07:14We witnessed that reality quite painfully in Afghanistan over the course of 20 long years.

1:07:18We saw the exact same thing happen in Iraq.

1:07:20So this entire situation is, as I have mentioned previously, at the very least it

1:07:27was ill -considered. And I really do not see at this present moment, which one

1:07:31you mean, what strategic exit the Americans are choosing now, especially since the Iranians are

1:07:38obviously negotiating very skillfully or for that matter, very skillfully not negotiating and making the

1:07:48Americans travel to Islamabad and then letting them leave again empty handed.

1:07:51A whole nation is being humiliated there by the Iranian leadership, especially by these so

1:08:00-called revolutionary gods. As Europeans, we have also extended an offer stating that we are

1:08:05prepared to assist in ensuring that the Strait of Hormuz is reopened, just as soon

1:08:10as these hostilities have finally come to an end.

1:08:13Furthermore, we have offered to dispatch specialized minesweepers from Germany to clear that vital strait

1:08:18of all its mines. After all, it has quite obviously been mined, at least in

1:08:23some significant part. Well, we could certainly do something about that.

1:08:27But first of all, the fighting has to come to a complete and total stop.

1:08:30And right now, I honestly do not see how that is even remotely achievable in

1:08:35the short term, because the Iranians are proving to be much stronger than we had

1:08:39initially thought. And the Americans clearly do not have a truly convincing or coherent strategy

1:08:45for these negotiations either. I really hate to have to say this, but I'm afraid

1:08:50it is a rather complicated and difficult situation at this moment.

1:08:54I'll show you the other clip of Mares, Germany's Chancellor.

1:08:57Let's play. I agree. What are Iran metrics?

1:08:59As far as Iran is concerned, yes, I have become disillusioned with that by now.

1:09:03And that is simply because the United States of America and Israel had assumed right

1:09:07at the beginning that this problem would be solved within a few days.

1:09:11And today we have to realize that it has not been solved.

1:09:14That is why we, on the European side, also want to make a diplomatic effort

1:09:18to find a solution. I have pointed out that for some time now diplomatic efforts

1:09:23towards Iran have been taking place again from Germany as well.

1:09:27We are coordinating closely with the American side on this, but we also state that

1:09:32we have our own European ideas on how to reach a solution to the conflict.

1:09:36I hope we succeed, but I am not sure.

1:09:39Now take that and contrast it to what Donald Trump said when he called Jackie

1:09:43Heinrich on state regime media, which calls itself Fox.

1:09:48Here's what Trump said about the Iranian pipes are getting so full of the oil

1:09:55that they can't keep the pressure.

1:09:58So it's going to result in a mechanical failure.

1:10:01And in 48 hours, Iran's about to blow up.

1:10:06Cowabunga, dude, it's going to blow up, man.

1:10:09Here, play this clip. But what you're referring to is that when you have, you

1:10:15know, lines of vast amounts of oil pouring through your system, if for any reason

1:10:20that line is closed because you can't continue to put it into containers or ships,

1:10:25which has happened to them, they have no ships because of the blockade, what happens

1:10:30is that line explodes from within, both mechanically and in the earth.

1:10:36If something happens where it just explodes, and they say they only have about three

1:10:41days left before that happens.

1:10:42And when it explodes, you can never, regardless, you can never rebuild it the way

1:10:48it was. In other words, it will always be, if you rebuild it, it's hard

1:10:52to rebuild it all, but it would only be about 50 % of what it

1:10:56is right now. So it's a very powerful thing that takes place, sort of having

1:11:00to do with nature. But when that gets clogged at the end, in other words,

1:11:04when you have to turn it off because you have no place to store this

1:11:07oil, either put it on ships or storage tanks, which they are just about finished

1:11:13with, a very bad thing is going to happen.

1:11:17So I think they're under pressure.

1:11:18Yeah, so just inject yourself with horse medication or inject yourself with bleach and Clorox

1:11:25and see if that gets rid of your COVID, everybody.

1:11:27I mean, this is not how oil facilities work.

1:11:32As Daniel Davis, an expert in this area, but you don't need to be an

1:11:35expert to tell you, because common sense would say, huh, so they build these pretty

1:11:41complex oil facilities. They just blow up and spontaneously combust.

1:11:45Yeah, no, that's not the way they're built.

1:11:46Go back to the post for one more time.

1:11:49Daniel Davis says that's not how oil facilities work.

1:11:52Pipelines don't just blow up because they can't store enough oil.

1:11:55That's a lie if that was a risk.

1:11:58Then five of the six GCC countries, that's the Gulf Cooperation Council, right?

1:12:02Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, they would already have their pipelines explode and

1:12:09none have. So literally, the systems are designed with fail -safe measures to make sure

1:12:13that doesn't happen. Plus, Iran is definitely not three days away from full storage capacity.

1:12:18It takes a lot longer than that to reach that level.

1:12:21If an Iranian pipeline suddenly blows up in the next three days, the likely culprit

1:12:26will be a U .S.

1:12:27missile, and that will trigger a massive retaliation from Iran.

1:12:31If Trump is trying to be cute again, it's going to blow up in all

1:12:36of our faces. As well said, Daniel Davis.

1:12:39Now, the way Donald Trump was saying that too, he's like, that's how nature works.

1:12:43That's how nature works. And it's like the fact that he just spews that incoherent

1:12:49slop that is not tethered to any reality at all is just complete and utter

1:12:53madness. Like that's a made up thing.

1:12:55That's not happening. He makes up negotiations.

1:12:58He makes up these like weird movie scripts that are not real life.

1:13:04These aren't real things that are going, you know, and the, and the issue is,

1:13:08is that when people who exist in real world, foreign leaders, they, they, you know,

1:13:15again, maybe you can fool who's ever left in that 30 % or 33 %

1:13:19of Trump support that exists.

1:13:21Maybe you fool them. And this is like, ah, that's why we're okay.

1:13:24They're going to all blow up.

1:13:25This is all part of the blockade.

1:13:27This is going to be amazing.

1:13:28But in the world of reality, it ain't working that way.

1:13:33And it's deeply problematic. And everybody looks at this and goes, oh my God, this

1:13:38guy is a freaking loser.

1:13:40And he's turned America into a loser country.

1:13:43I would say they're all laughing, but lots of people are horrified.

1:13:46Like, what are we going to do?

1:13:47I mean, this guy is, is, is, is an absolute loser.

1:13:51And yeah, he has, he's been his whole life.

1:13:53He's been a damn loser.

1:13:54That's why he's bankrupted so many things.

1:13:56He's an idiot. You know, the one thing that he's able to do is somehow

1:13:59convince people. He's a great con person.

1:14:02He's as greatest as con person.

1:14:04I don't, I truly don't understand how he taps into people's reptilian brains and convinces

1:14:09them of this ridiculous crap that isn't tethered to reality.

1:14:13Although I would say he feasts on the chaos.

1:14:16He waits to the crisis and the chaos.

1:14:19And, you know, I think that, you know, one of the things that he's doing

1:14:22is he waits two weeks, two weeks, two weeks, two weeks.

1:14:25Eventually what's happening in Iran is going to be cataclysmic, not in the sense that

1:14:30it's blowing up, but at some point we're just going to run out.

1:14:33Like the, the, the world supply of stuff is going to, is going to blow

1:14:37up, but see what Trump does.

1:14:39If you look at his whole life is he waits for these moments.

1:14:42And when people are suffering and scared at their worst, that's when he comes in

1:14:49and either blames or takes credit.

1:14:52And usually it could be both blame, blame, blame, take credit.

1:14:55Cause that's actually what his skill is.

1:14:57Stealing credit from other people who do things and blaming people during catastrophes or during

1:15:04events, often manufactured catastrophes, but also other catastrophes.

1:15:09And that's what he's built.

1:15:10That's, that's the, I don't want to call it a skillset cause it's so nefarious,

1:15:14but that's the thing. And meanwhile, you have Iran, their foreign minister isn't in Russia

1:15:22right now. You have foreign minister Aragi shaking Putin's hands.

1:15:27And yes, they are laughing and all smiles while Donald Trump is laughing after this

1:15:35alleged incident in the White House correspondence dinner with his team.

1:15:39Oh my God, we're going to borrow a wall.

1:15:43That's how they're going to, that's what they're laughing about.

1:15:46Look at the jesters, look at the clown squad.

1:15:49I would say the B team, but these people are like the Z team.

1:15:53Look at the Z team, a bunch of freaking losers and grifters and the worst

1:15:59possible people for their position.

1:16:01Look at what they're laughing at.

1:16:49they laugh at you. They're the ones laughing in your face, Donald, while our allies,

1:16:54our former allies, are absolutely horrified.

1:17:06And, you know, I think all those pictures tell a story and all these clips

1:17:09that we've shown have told a story.

1:17:15that he's using about the United States.

1:17:17You know, remember when Donald Trump would say that the world is laughing at us

1:17:20under Biden? I mean, quite the contrary.

1:17:23The world was relieved and thankful that somebody like Biden was president, working to strengthen

1:17:29NATO, working to expand NATO.

1:17:30And now the world is both laughing and is horrified at the United States.

1:17:35And it's because of Donald Trump and it's because of his sycophants.

1:17:38And everywhere you look, you see Donald Trump pushing people away from the United States.

1:17:44All this progress that the U .S.

1:17:46was making right now being reversed.

1:17:48And there's even this major global summit happening right now.

1:17:52The New York Times is reporting on this earlier.

1:17:5460 countries meeting in Colombia to figure out how to phase out fossil fuels.

1:17:58And so they invited all of these countries, except guess who didn't get the invite,

1:18:01brothers? I'll give you one guess, Jordy.

1:18:04Guess who didn't get the invite to the Clean Energy Summit in Colombia?

1:18:08Was it us? Was it us?

1:18:10Yeah, yeah. No, it was us.

1:18:11It's ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, unfortunately.

1:18:14And so that should be a big deal, right?

1:18:16That should be very big news.

1:18:18And this obviously comes in the middle of this insane energy crisis that's caused by

1:18:24Donald Trump and his war with Iran.

1:18:27And so you have all these countries across the world right now, as Ben was

1:18:31saying, facing these shortages, these prices going through the roof, they're rationing fuel.

1:18:36If you see some of the conversations that prime ministers and presidents in these other

1:18:40countries are having with their people, I mean, it's almost reminiscent of COVID.

1:18:45They're telling people, get ready.

1:18:47Like, we need to, you know, start, you know, really conserving energy here.

1:18:51If you don't need to go to work, don't go to work.

1:18:53You know, try to limit your use of gas and oil.

1:18:57Like, they're really sounding the alarm over there.

1:18:59And the U .S., meanwhile, has like pulled back and reversed course on all of

1:19:03this clean energy stuff that they're doing.

1:19:05And so the world is off on their own, trying to build a coalition of

1:19:09the willing to actually get things done, to try to actually help the planet develop

1:19:14new sources of energy that don't require our presence in the Middle East.

1:19:18And so there's this major moment happening right now in Colombia, and the United States

1:19:23is not even part of it.

1:19:25And it's a combination of climate policy, yes, but also global economics, national security.

1:19:31It's all of these things colliding right now at the same time due to the

1:19:35geopolitical dynamics that we are seeing.

1:19:38It's just, you know, it's a sad indictment of where the country is right now.

1:19:42Look, when you're the annoying kid in class, when you're the bully, you can't be

1:19:46shocked when you don't get invited to the birthday party.

1:19:49And Donald Trump has made us the bully for no good reason other than just

1:19:53to isolate us from everybody else.

1:19:54That... tell me one time in history when this notion of isolationism actually worked out

1:19:59to benefit a country or you know a citizenship like just absolutely never so for

1:20:05me it comes to this where i could sort of you know hang my hat

1:20:09as we close this episode is donald trump's approval rating as we mentioned earlier has

1:20:13never been lower collectively this country is seeing through the bs the world is seeing

1:20:20through the bs even though it's still a horrible reflection on the united states and

1:20:24us as individuals like it's just brutal but i feel confidently that one day in

1:20:31the not too distant future we could start to reclaim like what this country is

1:20:35supposed to be about which is doubling down on the truth doubling down on data

1:20:40and the facts and and championing democracy in a way that's supposed to be championed

1:20:44not not by just praising one man and having our leaders in congress and the

1:20:49senate or whatever just just do the bidding of an individual but to work for

1:20:53the people and so i'm excited to get back to to that point and and

1:20:57this country just means too much to me and like personally and i know brothers

1:21:02to you too and might is mighty to give up on that hope that we

1:21:05can reclaim that because i know we can and i know this country at at

1:21:09its best when things are firing at all cylinders and quite frankly i don't know

1:21:13if it ever has but when we could get our leaders and our citizens to

1:21:17start working together and having the leaders in this country quote unquote work for the

1:21:22people as it's meant to be public servants versus trying to just do the bidding

1:21:27of one specific man in one ballroom right we could be so great and so

1:21:31i think that's truly where we could ultimately go here as a country and i'm

1:21:35hopeful i'm hopeful because i've seen the growth of this audience please subscribe to the
